Andy Cohen admitted he has a soft spot for two Real Housewives cities.

The 58-year-old talk show host said he can’t pick a favorite, but New York and Atlanta stand out against the others.

“I will say New York and Atlanta have always been kind of close to my heart,” Cohen told Page Six in a recent interview.

“I have many favorites,” he explained. “The great thing about the show is that it really is an ensemble show and everyone plays their part, and someone can have a quiet season and then they come back and it’s all about them. So, you just never know what’s going to happen.”

Ahead of the 20th anniversary of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the first in the franchise to air, Cohen is releasing a book.

The book title, Andy’s Bravo Scrapbook: Twenty Years Behind the Scenes of the Real Housewives and the Bravoverse, details a look back at the series and reveals behind-the-scenes moments.

“The great thing about the book is I take you behind the scenes of pretty [much] every reunion show we’ve ever done,” Cohen said. “I share my insights about what I was thinking and what I went in thinking.

“There were reunions where we thought it was gonna be someone’s last season and then they totally blew us away at the reunion,” the Emmy winner continued. “And there are reunions where someone came in, and we were, you know, thinking, oh, this is great. And then they wind up isolating everyone in the group or isolating themselves. So they really can determine a lot in terms of the future of the show.”

The Watch What Happens Live! host is honored to have been part of a show that is beloved by so many.

“It’s a gift,” Cohen said. “I mean, anyone would want to be a part of a franchise that has entertained so many people and means so much to people, especially in this day and age where, you know, people don’t connect to, you know, programming in this way anymore.”

After Mom‘s creator Chuck Lorre’s viral attacks on Anna Faris, sitcom star Jaime Pressly is coming to the defense of her former CBS cast mate.

Speaking with E! News, Pressly spoke out in defense of Faris and her fellow cast members on the hit CBS comedy, which ran for eight season on the network before concluding in 2021.

“I was there for seven years, but there [were] eight seasons,” Pressly said. “I came on in the second season, but I had seven wonderful years of working with an incredible crew and an incredible cast of women, who were, all of us, just as beautifully flawed as our characters on the show were.”

“And I think I just really thoroughly enjoyed being able to go to work with girlfriends every day,” she continued. “All of us of a certain age, it was nice. It was refreshing.”

Pressly’s comments come amidst some a surprising new feud between Mom‘s creator Chuck Lorre and the show’s main star, Anna Faris.

In his new memoir, Lorre specifically revealed that he was reluctant to hire Faris for a part in the show, something that led him to recall his turbulent experiences working with Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.

“I wasn’t sure Anna would be appropriate for this kind of material,” Lorre wrote. “Then I thought about how badly I’d bungled my working relationship with Charlie Sheen.”

“As the years went by, it became apparent that my initial reluctance to hire Anna was, in fact, correct,” Lorre said about Faris, who departed from Mom before the show’s final season. “After six years, she left the show for mysterious reasons that were not mysterious to anyone on the show.”

Responding to Lorre’s criticisms, Faris admitted that, at the time, she was indeed struggling with substance abuse issues, but that she had since managed to achieve sobriety.

“Of course it hurts,” Faris said of Lorre’s comments on Instagram. “Chuck gave me a job I loved, and for seven years I never took a day of it for granted. I’m proud of what we made together, and nothing changes how grateful I am for those people and those years.”

“I’ve been sober for a year and a half,” she added. “I was on a show about recovery and then I lived it. Now I’m healthy, I’m working, and I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time.”

Tate McRae was ready to crank things up a notch at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, taking the stage in a striking red lingerie look for the first live performance of her new single.

The 23-year-old singer performed at the annual event on Sunday, October 18, in Los Angeles, wearing a red satin corset, matching panties, garters, and heels. She completed the look with sheer red angel wings, a matching red microphone, and bombshell waves through her hair, embracing the lingerie brand’s signature aesthetic.

McRae opened her set with “Housewife,” her latest single, released October 15. Surrounded by backup dancers in coordinating red lingerie, she delivered an energetic routine before continuing with “Dear God” and “Sports Car.”

The new song explores themes of love, fame, and independence, centering on a woman who refuses to be confined by other people’s expectations. Its accompanying music video, filmed in the south of France, features McRae in a series of glamorous settings as she navigates the tension between romantic love and personal freedom.

The performance also brought McRae’s dance background to the forefront. Before the show, she discussed her approach to performing in an interview with W Magazine, telling the outlet, “My body is the costume.” She also reflected on the adrenaline of performing live, saying, “I am constantly chasing the adrenaline of being onstage.”

That combination of choreography and spectacle has become a defining part of McRae’s performances. Earlier this year, she drew attention for her set at Lollapalooza in Chicago, where she submerged herself in a pool of gold-colored liquid during “Sports Car.” The Victoria’s Secret stage offered another opportunity to pair her dance training with a visually striking performance.

McRae also stepped onto the runway herself, walking alongside models including Gigi Hadid before showing off her own look. Her performance made her one of the evening’s featured musical guests, joining Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Moroney and KATSEYE.

The show returned to Los Angeles after spending the previous two years in New York City. This year’s event featured a seasonal theme, with elaborate wings and runway looks inspired by spring, summer, autumn and winter. It also marked Kylie Jenner’s debut on the Victoria’s Secret runway, where she wore the brand’s $50 million Fantasy Bra.

The Golden Girls is one of TV’s infamous sitcoms that made it big thanks to its stellar casting choices, but Betty White and Rue McClanahan almost didn’t star in their well-known character roles when first cast.

A group of four older women navigates life, friendship, the chaos of aging, and everyday life in a ray display of impeccable on-screen chemistry by the actors. The sitcom starred Beatrice Arthur as Dorothy Zbornak, White as Rose Marie Nylund, McClanahan as Blanche Elizabeth Devereaux, and Estelle Getty as Sophia Petrillo.

It’s hard to imagine anyone in the cast not playing the roles they became famous for, but in an interview from 2009 with Entertainment Weekly, McClanahan revealed she had originally wanted the role of Blanche, until she was told it was meant for White instead.

“Before I started reading it, I said, ‘Ohhh, this is a winner.’ I called my agent and said I was perfect for the role of Blanche, to which she said, ‘They want you to read for Rose. They want Betty White for the role of Blanche,'” she explained.

Upon reading the script for the 1985 pilot of The Golden Girls, White was also enthused about starring in the sitcom. She once called it one of “the best scripts that I’d read” after being sent so “many dogs” in her career.

According to Jim Colucci, author of Golden Girls Forever, White had already been cast as Blanche, and they followed in her footsteps after she played Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. How did White end up as Rose, and McClanahan as Blanche?

When McClanahan read for the role of Rose, she didn’t seem to fit the character. It wasn’t until she returned to audition as Blanche with the character’s signature Southern accent that casting realized she was meant for the role. In the end, they realized White was meant for the role of Rose instead.

“It was only a little bit into the process when the pilot’s director, Jay Sandrich, saw Rue read as Rose and said, ‘I’m going to ask you to do something unconventional. I’m going to ask you to go into the other room and study the Blanche lines and see what you can do with that.’ Rue was, like, ‘Okay!’ She happily did that and then they broke the news to Betty that they really wanted to recommend the switch. To Betty’s credit, she acquiesced, and so history was made really at the last minute there, too,” explained Colucci.

After making the last-minute switch while working on the pilot, many came to agree that the actors were meant for their roles. White had ultimately turned her character into an unforgettable one that perfectly fit the comedic style many knew her for.

“It probably wouldn’t have worked if anybody but Betty played Rose, because she is the one member of the main cast that didn’t have punchlines that she could just pass out,” said Ray Richmond.

“It was all in the way she created the character. It was all underneath. She had to project a realistic, you know, kind of version of a woman who was naive and unable to always understand what was going on. And it took a lot of different skills, comedic skills and dramatic skills at once to pull off Rose.”

The Golden Girls, in turn, became one of TV’s biggest sitcoms that ran for seven seasons from 1985 until 1992. It earned two Primetime Emmy Awards, three Golden Globes, and Emmys for each leading star. The sitcom is among a list of the best series of all time.

For Lil Jon, it seemed no outfit was complete without a pair of black sunglasses, but it turns out there’s a deeper, traumatic reason behind his desire to wear the staple accessory.

The 55-year-old Grammy-winning rapper and producer spoke candidly about his successful career and life before fame in his upcoming memoir, I Only Shout So You Can Hear Me. In the book, Jon, whose real name is Jonathan Smith, also shared moments from his childhood that shaped him, including the freak accident that led him to keep his eyes hidden from the public.

According to People, when Smith was a kid, he’d watch his mother, Carrie, take insulin shots for her diabetes diagnosis. Around the age of six, Smith let his curiosity get the best of him when he took one of his mom’s syringes and accidentally stabbed himself in the eye.

After getting checked out by several doctors, the “Yeah” artist learned that he had a “traumatic cataract from the needle.” He underwent numerous surgeries, one of which included a corneal transplant, which forced him to wear a metal eye patch. Because of the eye covering, Smith admitted to being the butt of many jokes in school.

“I definitely was teased in school,” Jon told People. “At that age, if somebody’s different, they’re going to pick on you. I became shy, but somehow I turned it into, ‘I want to always prove people wrong.’”

And he did just that! Smith poured all of his free time into learning music. Shortly before he was injured, he learned to play the drums and continued his passion for musical instruments and tools.

As Smith grew older, he developed a lazy eye as a direct result of the incident. He underwent another surgery to fix the condition, but the musician still prefers to wear sunglasses to conceal his eyes. But that never stopped him from achieving his dream.

“Whenever people have put me down,” says Jon, “I used that as fuel in my fire to excel.”

The “Get Low” artist has cemented his status as a household name in the music industry, with more than three decades of hard work and a string of chart-topping hits. In his memoir, Smith details other obstacles in life that he fought to persevere through, from nightclubs not playing his records to familial revelations.

“I got to figure out how to pave my way no matter what. I got to prove people wrong,” Smith continued. “I’m the type, if an obstacle is put in front of me, I’m going to figure out how to go through it, over it, under it, around it.”

Joan Jett has a first-of-its-kind collaboration in the works to celebrate the 45th anniversary of  Joan Jett & The Blackhearts’ iconic albums, I Love Rock ’N Roll and Bad Reputation.

Picture it: 1982. You’re an NBC casting director, and three men just auditioned for the role of Sam Malone — a wisecracking ex-Red Sox relief pitcher who now runs a bar in Boston. The character was originally going to be a football player, but when Ted Danson walked in, they changed him to a baseball pitcher to fit. One of the other guys who read for the part was Ed O’Neill, who’d go on to play Al Bundy in Married with Children for the next 11 years. Another was former NFL player Fred Dryer. The producers didn’t think Danson was right for it. “He was clearly not a football player,” co-creator Glen Charles said later. “Not only physically.” He wasn’t jock enough. He wasn’t confident enough. He wasn’t Sam.

What saved him was Shelley Long. When the two of them got up and read together in front of the studio executives, something clicked that nobody had planned for. “One would do something a little unexpected,” co-creator Les Charles recalled, “and the other would respond to that.” They sparked. Danson’s been honest about what that moment meant ever since. “I maintain that I got Sam because I was teamed with Shelley,” he told GQ.

The show they made together premiered September 30, 1982, and finished 74th out of 77 shows in the Nielsen ratings that week. NBC entertainment president Brandon Tartikoff believed in it anyway. The critics loved it. The audience hadn’t found it yet. Danson found out later exactly how close it came — and exactly what saved it.

NBC “would have” canceled Cheers after season 1, Tartikoff told him. But “they had nothing to replace it with.” That’s the reason one of the greatest sitcoms ever made got a second season. Not vision. Not faith in the writers. Not the Emmy nominations or the critical praise. An empty Thursday night. Meanwhile, the writers had heard that Lucille Ball was watching the show at home and thought she’d be perfect to play Diane’s mother. Nobody ever made that call either.

By season 2, Cheers had climbed to 34th in the ratings. By season 3, it was anchoring NBC’s Thursday lineup alongside The Cosby Show, Family Ties, and Night Court. The whole thing ran on the tension between Sam and Diane — Danson and Long — and the will-they-won’t-they energy that kept 20 million people tuning in every single week at its peak.

“Shelley’s Leaving Reenergized the Bar”

Then in 1987 Shelley Long walked away. She wanted to be home with her daughter Juliana, and she wanted to make movies. TIME magazine later called it “probably one of the greatest career stumbles in show-business history.” The industry didn’t disagree. “When Shelley left, we were devastated,” director James Burrows said. “You had this great energy, and then she left.” Burrows remembered a critic writing as Long walked out the door: “There goes Cheers.” The writers didn’t have a script for her farewell episode until a week before they needed to shoot it. They brought in Kirstie Alley as Rebecca Howe. The show didn’t fall apart.

It got better. Burrows put it plainly years later: “Shelley’s leaving reenergized the bar.” Cheers hit No. 1 in America in season 9. It ran six more years after Long left. NBC estimated the series finale on May 20, 1993 drew 93 million viewers — the second-most-watched TV finale in American history at the time. It won 28 Primetime Emmys. The spinoff Frasier won 37 more.

James Burrows — who co-created Cheers, directed it from the very first episode, and spent the rest of his career making Frasier, Will and Grace, and Friends — died on June 19, 2026, at 85. His agent called him “the greatest comedic television director in the history of the medium.” On the night his show first aired, it was fourth from the bottom of American television. They kept it because they didn’t have anything better to put there. Eleven years later, NBC estimated 93 million people watched it end.

“Exercise places stress on the muscles, joints and cardiovascular system,” Dr. Ekaterina Urch, MD, a board-certified sports medicine specialist and orthopedic surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Los Angeles, tells Parade. “Recovery and knowing what to do after a workout allow the body to adapt to the stress, make functional and physical improvements and prepare for the next training session.”

In other words, recovery isn’t a waste of time—it’s a gift to your future self.

“A good post-workout routine can help your body recover fully from your training session,” Dr. Urch says. “An effective post-workout routine addresses areas of muscle tightness and restricted mobility, flushes the muscles of built-up lactic acid/exercise-induced byproducts, and replenishes the body with essential nutrients.”

She also notes that recovery helps right away, maximizing the workout’s benefits. Unfortunately, she and another sports medicine doctor agree that people are skipping a crucial part of post-workout recovery. Below, sports medicine doctors reveal the one thing they’re begging people to stop skipping after a workout, and three ways to add it to your cool-downs.

Don’t Skip This After a Workout, Sports Medicine Doctors Say

Sports medicine doctors are begging people not to skip static stretching after a workout.

“Static stretching should be done as a cool-down after a workout to help prevent injury,” explains Dr. Urch. “After a workout, your muscles are warmed up, with increased blood flow and activity.”

Dr. Arth Patel, MD, a primary care sports medicine doctor at RWJBarnabas Health, agrees, adding that stretching can also improve flexibility and range of motion, especially in tight muscles.

“Stretching isn’t the only solution to prevent soreness or injury,” Dr. Patel says. “Its biggest benefit is generally flexibility and mobility. It can also provide a good transition out of a workout.”

It might help to understand what static stretching is before we continue.

“Static stretching is a form of stretching where you move a muscle as far as it can go without feeling pain, then hold that position without bouncing or repetitive movement for 20-45 seconds,” Dr. Urch says. “For optimal benefit, these stretches should be performed 2-3 times per session.”

That’s different from dynamic stretching, where you move through a full range of motion instead of staying still.

Dr. Patel understands why people skip static stretching.

“People often finish the hard part of a workout and feel like they’re done, especially since we all have busy lives with a short window to exercise in the first place,” he says. “Stretching might feel pointless and like a waste of time, but even just a few minutes devoted to mobility could make your workouts—and long-term mobility—much better.”

Dr. Urch adds that people may not enjoy stretching. “Some people, especially those new to exercise and stretching, may find stretching painful, awkward and uncomfortable,” she says. “Improvements in flexibility are gradual and take a lot of consistent effort. People may be discouraged because they don’t see results as quickly as they’d like, abandoning the practice completely.”

The delayed gratification is worth it.

General Tips for When and How to Static Stretch

Static stretching matters, especially when you include it in your recovery routine. Sports medicine doctors shared whether you should walk or foam roll before static stretching, and more.

• Walk this way. Dr. Patel says it’s best to walk or do another low-intensity activity for a few minutes before moving on to final stretches after a high-intensity workout. “This allows your heart rate and breathing to come down while continuing to move your body,” Dr. Patel explains. “After a lighter workout, you likely don’t need a separate cool-down and can move directly into stretching.”
• Roll with it (first). If you’re incorporating foam rolling into your post-workout routine, Dr. Urch recommends doing it before static stretching. “Foam rolling can help temporarily improve range of motion, facilitating static stretching. It can also help reduce soreness and muscle stiffness.”
• Don’t overdo it. Yes, you can overstretch, and you should avoid it. “Stretching too aggressively, holding a painful position or repeatedly forcing a joint beyond its comfortable range can do more harm than good,” Dr. Patel states. “You should feel gentle to moderate tension; you don’t need to push a stretch to its absolute limit to reap the benefits.”
• What about before a workout? Dr. Urch says static stretching before a workout isn’t necessarily harmful. “But it can negatively affect your performance by limiting your muscles’ ability to generate force and speed,” she says. She recommends dynamic stretching, like bodyweight squats and lunges, for a warm-up.

3 Static Stretches to Try After Your Next Workout

You’re sold on static stretching. What are some of the best static stretches to do after a workout? Dr. Urch shares a few of her favorites and how to do them.

1. Half-kneeling hip flexor stretch

Dr. Urch recommends this stretch for people who spend a lot of time sitting, as well as athletes who repeatedly flex their hips in sports such as cycling and running.

How to do it:

1. Begin in a half-kneeling position, with one knee on the ground and the opposite foot flat on the floor, positioning your front knee over your ankle and maintain an upright torso.
2. Gently engage your abdominal muscles and glutes and tuck your tailbone slightly underneath you.
3. Slowly shift your pelvis forward until you feel a stretch along the front of the hip on the kneeling side.
4. You can adjust stretch intensity by limiting or increasing how far forward your pelvis moves.

Mistakes to avoid: Arching the lower back instead of extending through the down/back hip, leaning too far forward and forcing the stretch until there is discomfort in the lower back or knee.

2. Supine hamstring stretch

Since your hamstrings are crucial to hip extension and knee flexion, Dr. Urch says that they’re essential for most lower-body activities. “Unfortunately, hamstrings are often tight and weak, which can lead to biomechanical dysfunction and increased risk of injury,” she explains. “The supine version of this stretch makes it easier to maintain proper spinal and pelvic positioning.”

How to do it:

1. Lie on your back with both legs out straight. Place a stretching strap or a towel around the bottom of one foot.
2. Slowly raise the foot toward the ceiling while holding the strap ends in both hands.
3. Gradually straighten the raised knee until you feel a stretch along the back of your thigh. Keep your pelvis and lower back in a comfortable, neutral position.

Mistakes to avoid: Pulling too aggressively on the strap; arching your lower back/allowing the pelvis to rotate; lifting your head and shoulders off the ground; and ignoring pain or numbness/tingling in the stretched leg.

3. Standing calf stretch against the wall

Dr. Urch says calf muscles are also vital for most lower-body movements and for maintaining ankle stability. You need them to generate force while pushing off and control the body as your foot hits the ground. This stretch gives your calves some TLC.

How to do it:

1. Stand facing a wall and place both hands against it at shoulder height.
2. Step one foot backward, keeping both feet pointed forward.
3. Keep your back knee straight and your heel in contact with the floor.
4. Slowly bend your front knee and lean toward the wall until you feel a stretch in the calf of your back leg. “Keeping your back knee straight places emphasis on the gastrocnemius,” Dr. Urch says.

Mistakes to avoid: Lifting the back heel off the floor, turning the back foot outward and bouncing into the stretch.

Pinchot, 67, rose to fame as Balki Bartokomous on Perfect Strangers, which ran from 1986 to 1993 as part of ABC’s classic TGIF lineup. But the actor has also had a variety of notable film roles over the years, including The First Wives Club, Beverly Hills Cop, Risky Business, and Courage Under Fire. Still in great demand as a voice-over actor, Pinchot also continues to act on screen.

Linn-Baker, 72, played Cousin Larry, the straight-laced nerd on the hit comedy series. But the dynamic duo was back in action this past weekend, hitting ’90s Con in Hartford. Both sporting white hair, it’s safe to say they are unrecognizable in comparison to their time in the ’90s spotlight on Perfect Strangers.

Yes! Linn-Baker appeared in four episodes of the acclaimed HBO series Succession, which ran from 2019 to 2023. The show followed the Roy family, owners of Waystar RoyCo, a media company. Linn-Baker first popped up in a season 2 episode, titled “Tern Haven,” in which the Roy family meets the Pierce family in an uncomfortable weekend getaway at their retreat. Jason Segel has a new role in his personal life: husband. The How I Met Your Mother star married dancer Kayla Radomski in California over the weekend, more than a year after the couple announced their engagement.

According to PEOPLE, the couple tied the knot on Saturday, October 17, at The Huntington Library Botanical Gardens in Pasadena. Segel, 46, and Radomski, 35, celebrated their wedding surrounded by family and friends.

The newlyweds also shared glimpses of their special day on social media. Radomski posted photos from the celebration on her Instagram Stories, including a look at her bridal veil. She described the day as an “absolute DREAM” and revealed that she was still emotional afterward.

The wedding location held special significance for the couple. Segel proposed to Radomski in the Huntington Library’s rose garden, making their return to the botanical gardens for their wedding particularly meaningful.

According to Page Six, Radomski wore a white wedding gown decorated with pink floral details and a lace veil, while Segel opted for a dark tuxedo. The wedding invitation reportedly listed the dress code as “coat and tie” and promised guests an evening of dinner and dancing.

The couple announced their engagement in June 2025. Radomski shared photos of Segel’s proposal on Instagram, including a moment when he got down on one knee in a flower-filled garden. She captioned the post, “FOREVER YES.”

Segel and Radomski were first romantically linked in October 2023 after they were photographed holding hands at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights. They made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, where Segel received a nomination for his performance in the Apple TV+ comedy series Shrinking.

Meghan Markle allegedly swore off working with French designer Roland Mouret after he made a mistake.

Mouret is opening up about his time working with the Suits star and a blunder involving Kate Middleton that ended their relationship. His new memoir, I Am Roland Mouret: The Butcher’s Boy Who Dressed the World, details his experiences.

He said he offered to send the 45-year-old Duchess of Sussex clothes after she started dating Prince Harry in 2016. He wrote that he knew she would have “a lot of functions” to attend and that she told him to send the items, according to an excerpt from his book published by The Times on Friday, Oct. 16.

“I asked a member of my team to send a selection I had put aside to the palace,” he wrote. “Leave them there as long as she wants them. Don’t follow up on it and do not talk about it to anyone at all, here or outside.”

Mouret said someone on his team contacted Middleton’s stylist to collect the clothes sent to Markle.

“Meghan and Harry’s relationship became public. Then the same team member who had sent the clothes for Meghan decided, in an honest attempt to be efficient, to call Kate’s stylist at the palace and ask for Meghan’s dresses to be returned,” Mouret explained.

“Meghan was furious and called me,” he wrote, adding that she told him, “You don’t realize what you’ve done! You’ve embarrassed me!”

The designer said he apologized, saying, “No, Meghan, it was just a mistake by someone who didn’t know. My apologies. I know it’s not good for you, and you want to do things privately.”

He claimed that the former actress told him, “You know now I can never wear your clothes again.”

“I didn’t see the logic of that, but I didn’t question it,” Mouret wrote. “Meghan’s decision not to wear my clothes was hers, not the palace’s, not anybody else’s. I don’t think anyone else cared.”

The Battles will air tonight and wrap up on Monday, Oct. 26 after coaches Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah, Adam Levine and Riley Green finish narrowing down their teams in preparation for Cut Week. Each team was originally 12 members strong. After the
Battles, the number will be reduced to six, plus the one artist that each coach added by employing their Steal.

When is The Voice Cut Week? And what is it?

Cut Week begins after the Battles wrap up. It will be the biggest elimination in Voice history. In Cut Week, each coach sends two artists straight through to the Live Shows, while five more battle for one remaining spot on their team. Once the Top 12 is set, America votes one final additional artist into the Lives, solidifying the Top 13.   

When are The Voice Live Shows?

The Live Shows begin on Nov. 9 and will continue for six weeks of live performances which America votes on and will also include special guest appearances. Live Show “Theme Week” episodes include Dolly Parton Tribute Week, Y2K and TikTok.

As part of the Live Shows, there will be Simulcast Viewing. For the first time ever, live shows will be simulcast on NBC and Peacock in all time zones, making voting more fair on the West Coast. Fans will be in control when they vote on their favorites during six weeks of Lives. Voting methods will also change as viewers will be able to vote through SMS or TikTok; and results will be announced the same night.

Beyond Yoga took an ’00s hitmaker to dizzying new heights over the weekend.

The active lifestyle brand brought its Seek Beyond: Open Air experience to New York City on Saturday, Oct. 17, culminating in an intimate performance by Natasha Bedingfield at Edge NYC, more than 1,100 feet above Manhattan.

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, who broke through in the 2000s with hits including “Unwritten” and “Pocketful of Sunshine,” performed with her band at the sky-high event while wearing Beyond Yoga.

The morning began at Beyond Yoga’s recently opened Flatiron pop-up shop at 108 Fifth Avenue. Hundreds of participants gathered there before making their way along the West Side Highway to Edge NYC, which bills itself as the highest indoor/outdoor observation deck in the Western Hemisphere.

Guests could choose between runs led by former The Bachelorette star Tayshia Adams and Lunge Run Club or a walk led by City Girls Who Walk.

Once they reached Edge, attendees were treated to an opening DJ set from Mei Kwok, brunch and refreshments before Bedingfield took the stage.

“I love that Beyond Yoga encourages people to try something new and move their bodies in whatever way feels good to them, without any pressure to do it a certain way,” Bedingfield said in a statement. “That freedom really resonates with me.”

She added, “Getting to perform for everyone felt like such a special way to share that sense of energy and connection.”

The appearance comes as Bedingfield’s 2004 hit “Unwritten” continues to enjoy a remarkable second life more than two decades after its release. The song experienced a major resurgence after being prominently featured in the 2023 romantic comedy Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell, introducing it to a new generation of listeners.

Bedingfield has also continued releasing new music. Her latest single, “Dot Dot Dot,” arrived in 2026.

For Beyond Yoga, the New York event was the latest installment of its Seek Beyond platform, which combines movement, music and community experiences.

“Open Air is all about creating that lightning-in-a-bottle moment where joy and optimism come to life,” Beyond Yoga Chief Marketing Officer Katie Babineau said.

The brand previously held a Seek Beyond: Open Air event in Los Angeles in spring 2026, combining a guided hike at Franklin Canyon Park with a DJ set by SOFI TUKKER.

The New York edition also comes amid Beyond Yoga’s expanding presence in the city. The company opened its Flatiron pop-up in September, its largest retail and community presence in New York to date. The location is scheduled to remain open through January 2027.

Founded in Los Angeles in 2005, Beyond Yoga is known for its activewear and signature Spacedye fabric. The company joined Levi Strauss & Co. in 2021.

But on Saturday, leggings weren’t the only things getting a workout. Bedingfield performed more than 1,100 feet above Manhattan, giving “Unwritten” a New York backdrop considerably higher than most concert stages.

By day, Florence Graham ran a fashionable Fifth Avenue salon. By night, she worked as a manicurist to pay for it.

None of that was supposed to happen. With $1,000 and a business partner, Elizabeth Hubbard, Graham opened her first salon in 1910 as reported by the Library of Congress. Not long after the doors opened, the two fell out and Hubbard walked away, which left Graham responsible for the rent.

According to Encyclopedia.com, she kept her dream alive by taking out a $6,000 loan from her brother and booking after-hours manicure appointments. Life in the big city was uncharted territory for the Ontario native, who was born the youngest of five children in 1884. Still, her drive to succeed far outweighed her fear, keeping her focused on expanding her enterprise.

Before she tried her hand at the beauty industry, Graham was a nursing student who found herself drawn to learning about the lotions used to treat burns, according to Biography. She followed up her schooling with a secretarial job before moving to the Big Apple where she met Hubbard.

Graham and Hubbard entered the beauty business together and named their new partnership Elizabeth Arden, strategically branding their business as a “salon” to appeal to Fifth Avenue’s high-society clientele. The sophisticated positioning worked, helping the red door brand quickly gain traction among influential local women.

After the dissolution of her partnership with Hubbard in 1914, Graham adopted the same name as her business as its face. The strategy paid off.

She opened a second salon in Washington, D.C. According to Biography, her products had expanded into international markets by 1915. Salon locations in London and Paris followed in 1921 and 1922, respectively, while shipments of her beauty line reached customers as far as South America and Australia.

The flagship was the first to offer travel-sized products, and in 1930, her Eight Hour® Cream was introduced to the world, according to the brand’s official website. In 1946, Arden was the first businesswoman to be featured on the cover of TIME Magazine.

Additionally, Elizabeth Arden aligned her growing brand with women’s empowerment. She joined thousands of women demanding the right to vote. To create a striking visual statement of unity, Arden gave marchers bright red lipstick to wear. Decades later, her commitment to women in uniform endured, leading her to formulate custom cosmetic collections designed specifically for female military personnel, per Biography.

The LOC reported that, beyond building a beauty empire, Arden lived a colorful personal life marked by high-society romance and a passion for thoroughbred racing. Though her marriages to Thomas Jenkins Lewis and Prince Michael Evlanoff both ultimately ended in divorce, Arden found an enduring love on the racetrack. An accomplished horsewoman and racing enthusiast, she took the equestrian world by storm in 1947 when her prized thoroughbred, Jet Pilot, won the Kentucky Derby.

Graham died in 1966 at age 81. In 1971, five years after her death, pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly and Company acquired the business for $38 million. It resold the brand to Fabergé in 1987 for $657 million, and the company has changed hands several times since, landing in 2016 as a Revlon subsidiary.

The name Graham adopted for a struggling salon still appears on skincare, makeup, and fragrance products today. All of it began with $1,000 and the determination to make it on her own.

Michael Douglas has opened up about a brief period of time in 2013 when he and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones called time on their romance. The stars tied the knot back in the year 2000, but it wasn’t all smooth sailing.

Addressing the split and subsequent reconciliation of their relationship while promoting his new memoir ‘One Hulluva Ride’, Michael told The Times: “It was mutual. You know, we had our problems, but I love her dearly and, 25 years, you know. I mean, I don’t know about your marital status, but marriage is a lot of work, you know. And so, you know, we’re good. We’re in good shape. It’s all I can say.”

In the early days of Michael and Catherine dating, Michael admitted to seeing five other women at the same time as seeing her. Each of his five other “girlfriends” was located in a different city, as he felt that this was the most respectful way to not be monogamous, as no one would bump into each other.

However, after he and Catherine slept together for the first time, she gave Michael an ultimatum: cut off the other women that he’s entertaining and commit to her or she would be gone.

Michael candidly responded that he would need some time, as he had phone calls to make, and that same day he called the five other ladies and cut off their relations.

Today Michael and Catherine’s relationship continues to be going strong, and the couple shares two children together called Dylan, 26, and Carys, 23.

Connie Britton is known for playing some of television’s most beloved moms, but in her new Hulu series, her character’s own son begins to believe she may not be who she says she is.

The actress stars in Phony, a coming-of-age mystery premiering Tuesday, October 20, with two episodes on Hulu. The eight-episode series follows Sonny Cooke (Sam Nivola), a teenager who wakes up in the hospital after a car accident and becomes convinced that his mother, Ellen, has been replaced by an impostor. The catch? Nobody else seems to notice a difference.

As Sonny tries to figure out what happened, he must navigate life with a woman he believes may be a dangerous stranger, even as she remains the person he has trusted most. The series blends mystery, comedy and drama as it explores the complicated relationship between a mother and her teenage son.

For Britton, the role offered a chance to venture into unfamiliar territory. In a recent interview with People, the actress admitted that playing a version of herself who looks like her own character was an uncomfortable experience, even as she appreciated the subtlety of the performance.

“I’m always looking to take a risk and scare myself s—less,” she told the outlet.

The role marks a departure from some of Britton’s best-known television characters, including Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights and Rayna Jaymes on Nashville. She has also appeared in American Horror Story and The White Lotus, continuing to take on projects that challenge her as an actor.

Created by Nick Paley, Phony also stars Grace Brennan, Maliq Johnson, Meera Syal, Colter Lee and Mahaela Park. Paley wrote the first two episodes and directed multiple episodes, while Anthony King serves as co-showrunner. Britton is also an executive producer on the series.

Following its two-episode premiere on October 20, Phony will release new episodes weekly on Tuesdays, with the season finale scheduled for December 1
