Quince is Dropping a Limited-Edition Color of Its Most Famous Carry-On

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 8:10am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to ditch your beat-up, "boring black" suitcase, Quince just gave you a very colorful reason to finally pull the trigger. The brand that’s become a favorite for high-end quality at a fraction of the price is launching a series of limited-edition color drops for their award-winning suitcases.

The first shade arriving this April is Lavender—a soft, whimsical purple that stands out instantly at baggage claim. It’s a sure-fire way to brighten your travel day, whether you’re coordinating with your favorite spring airplane outfit or just want a bag that feels as fresh as your destination.

The Road-Test Results: Why It’s a ‘Pro’ Favorite Shop It at Quince!

I’ve been testing the Quince carry-on throughout the fall and winter as part of a wider trial of award-winning luggage, and it has consistently come out as a top favorite. While the new colors are fun, the real magic is in the engineering.

The 360-degree high-performance spinner wheels are the gold standard—they glide like a dream and are noticeably quieter than other high-end carry-ons on the market. Inside, the built-in compression system is a lifesaver for over-packers, helping you cinch down your wardrobe to make every inch of space count.

The Verdict: A High-End Steal

In terms of sturdiness and "scuff-resistance," this bag definitely holds its own against brands that cost three times as much. At just $129, it’s a veritable steal for a piece of gear that feels this premium.

Because these color drops are produced in limited quantities, they aren't going to sit on the shelves for long. If Lavender is your spring mood, you'll want to move fast—it’s the smartest way to ensure the only thing "predictable" about your next trip is how smoothly you’ll glide through the terminal.

The Italian Way To Make Chicken Thighs 10x Better

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 8:06am

There are nights when I cook because I have to, and nights when I cook because I want to feel something special. I want the room to warm slowly, the air to shift, and the house to fill with an aroma that pulls people toward the kitchen. Every time I make Merlot-Braised Chicken Thighs, I feel that comforting, “this is exactly why I cook” moment. This signature recipe from Lidia Bastianich’s Italian Table is proof that Italian food should be soulful, authentic and deeply satisfying. With just a handful of simple ingredients handled thoughtfully, Lidia shows how a home-cooked dish can be flavorful, comforting, made with love and elevate a weeknight chicken dinner to something 10x more delicious than usual.

What makes Lidia’s approach to chicken thighs 10x better is her rejection of the standard, one-dimensional braise. Instead of a basic sear, she transforms the humble thigh into an elegant stuffed bundle. The "how" is a masterclass in layering: Bastianich sautés a rich medley of leeks and carrots, binding them with Parmigiano-Reggiano before rolling the mixture tightly inside the meat. Each bundle is then "perfumed" with a fresh sage leaf and rosemary sprig that is tucked right under the butcher’s twine that is holding the thighs together.

As the chicken thighs braise, the cheese melts into the vegetables while the wine reduces into a sophisticated, purple-hued lacquer. It is a labor of love that honors the Italian tradition of patience over trends. In the end you realize you are no longer just serving dinner; you are sharing a piece of Italian heritage.

Below, we break down the recipe step-by-step so you can see what I mean.

The Italian Way To Make Chicken Thighs 10x Better

In this recipe, the Merlot does more than add flavor, it brings everything together. After the chicken is beautifully browned, the wine is poured in with stock and simmered uncovered, allowing it to gently reduce and deepen. As it cooks, the alcohol evaporates, leaving behind rich, fruity notes and just the right touch of brightness.

As the sauce gently simmers, it melds with the chicken’s natural juices and the savory filling tucked inside each thigh. The flavors deepen and harmonize, creating a dish that’s layered yet comforting, richly savory, lightly herbal, and softly rounded by the wine.

This isn’t the kind of braise where the meat falls apart at the touch of a fork. Instead, the chicken becomes tender while still holding its shape, keeping all that delicious filling inside. It’s finished with a glossy, flavorful sauce that feels special enough for guests, yet cozy enough for a Sunday dinner at home. It’s the kind of dish that makes your kitchen smell amazing long before dinner hits the table.

Ingredients Needed for Merlot-Braised Chicken Thighs

Theresa Greco

Simple ingredients are elevated beautifully in this dish. It’s all about layering bright herbs and savory aromatics to create a flavor profile that feels both rustic and refined. Each component builds on the next, transforming everyday staples into something truly special.

To make it, you’ll need unsalted butter and extra-virgin olive oil for richness, along with onions, leeks, carrots and celery to form a deeply flavorful base. Freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano and chopped Italian parsley add savory depth and brightness, while boneless, skinless chicken thighs become tender and juicy as they cook. Sprigs of fresh rosemary, fragrant sage leaves and garlic cloves infuse the dish with warmth and herbaceous aroma.

For the braising liquid, use a soft, fruit-forward Merlot, or another light, dry red wine, along with good-quality chicken broth. As it simmers and reduces, the wine transforms into a silky, flavorful sauce that brings the whole dish together.

How To Make Merlot-Braised Chicken Thighs

It all starts with a deeply flavorful aromatic base built in a medium skillet. Butter melts into olive oil, and as it begins to foam, in go the chopped onions and leeks. Within minutes, they soften and turn translucent, filling the kitchen with that unmistakable savory aroma that signals something special is underway.

Theresa Greco

Chopped carrots and celery follow, along with a light seasoning of salt and pepper, then everything cooks gently over low heat until tender and fragrant. Once cooled, the mixture is folded together with grated cheese and fresh parsley, transforming simple vegetables into a rich, herb-flecked stuffing.

Theresa Greco

As the filling rests, the chicken thighs are trimmed and carefully prepared for rolling. Each one is spread with a generous spoonful of the vegetable mixture, then tucked into a neat, compact bundle.

Theresa Greco

A bit of kitchen twine secures the shape, while a sprig of rosemary and a sage leaf are slipped underneath, infusing the chicken with subtle herbal perfume as it cooks.

Theresa Greco

The bundles are then browned in olive oil with a few cloves of garlic, turning slowly until golden on all sides.

Theresa Greco

After the excess fat is poured off, the pan is deglazed with a splash of Merlot, which bubbles up and begins to reduce almost immediately.

Theresa Greco

Chicken stock joins the wine, and together they simmer steadily, gradually thickening into a glossy, aromatic sauce.

Theresa Greco

In about 20 minutes, the chicken becomes tender while still holding its shape, and the liquid transforms into a concentrated glaze that clings to each bundle. Once the twine and wilted herb sprigs are removed, all that’s left to do is spoon the rich pan sauce over the top and serve—preferably while it’s still warm enough to perfume the entire room.

Why the Type of Wine Matters Here

The choice of Merlot, or another dry red wine, is all about creating a balanced, harmonious sauce. Because the wine reduces to a concentrated glaze, every characteristic becomes amplified. Bolder reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon tend to have firmer tannins, which can intensify during reduction and introduce bitterness that would overpower the chicken.

Merlot is typically more fruit-forward, with notes of plum and cherry and much gentler tannins. As it reduces, it becomes lush and velvety, enhancing the savory herb and cheese filling without adding harshness.

When I spoke with the wine team at Colangelo & Partners, they echoed Lidia's balanced approach, recommending an Italian expression of Merlot, specifically Famiglia Cotarella Montiano Rosso. Its bright acidity and subtle earthy undertones mirror the rosemary and sage, complementing rather than competing with the overall flavor of the dish.

My Honest Thoughts

Theresa Greco

If you’re looking for a dish that turns an everyday chicken dinner into something truly special, these Merlot-Braised Chicken Thighs deliver. It may not be flashy, but what it lacks in showy presentation it more than makes up for in rich, layered flavor. This is the kind of meal that feels restaurant-worthy in taste and is perfect for a cozy dinner party or an intimate celebration at home.

The savory vegetable stuffing and aromatic wine reduction create a depth of flavor that feels thoughtful and refined without being fussy. Each bite is tender, herb-infused, and coated in a silky sauce that tastes like it simmered all day.

While there is a bit of preparation involved including trimming, stuffing, and tying the bundles, the extra effort pays off beautifully. Once the chicken is seared, the braise becomes largely hands-off, giving you time to set the table, tidy the kitchen, or pour a glass of that Merlot for yourself. As it gently simmers, the sauce reduces into a glossy, concentrated finish that brings everything together in the end. It’s a rewarding technique that proves impressive flavor doesn’t have to look extravagant, it just has to taste unforgettable.

3 Final Tips for Making Merlot-Braised Chicken Thighs
  1. Skip the toothpicks. Butcher’s twine keeps the rosemary and sage snug against the chicken and thighs need that steady tension to really soak up those herby oils.
  2. Braise uncovered. Let the Merlot and stock simmer openly so they reduce into a glossy, cling-to-the-chicken glaze instead of a thin sauce.
  3. Finish with a quick boil. If the sauce is still loose, remove the chicken and boil the liquid hard for 2–3 minutes to reach that silky, spoon-coating finish.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Backlash Erupts After TV Special Airs With Key Error

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 7:49am

A local TV station is facing backlash from viewers after airing a special on Nancy Guthrie that contained a major error. Following the KVOA News 4 Tucson broadcast of "Bring Her Home: The Disappearance of Nancy Guthrie," viewers quickly took to social media, pointing out that the program misstated the date of her disappearance.

In addition to recapping the past several weeks, the television special featured an interview with Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and an exclusive statement from the Guthrie family. It was during KVOA's interview with Sheriff Nanos, however, that the incorrect date was stated.

"Take me back to the night of Sunday, January 31," KVOA anchor Monica Garcia said during her interview with Nanos.

Guthrie, 84, was reported missing on Sunday, Feb. 1. She was last seen by her family members on Saturday, Jan. 31 around 9:45 p.m. local time. When she didn't show up at a friend's house to watch a livestream of a church service on Sunday morning, her family was notified. Within minutes of arriving at her home in the Catalina Foothills, authorities were called. According to the Pima County Sheriff's official timeline, authorities arrived at the home after 12 p.m. local time.

"No disrespect to the Guthrie family. I pray every day Nancy is found, but your reporter while speaking to the sheriff got her dates wrong. Nancy was reported missing around 11:50 on Sunday FEB 1," one person wrote on X after the special aired.

"How disappointing this wasn't about Nancy and helping her get home, but a hit report on the people keeping her name out there by live streaming. Just shameful reporting, another reason we stopped watching TV news," someone else said.

"This was a horrible click bait. Repeats of what other channels have already reported. Can’t even get the date correct. If not for streamers who is reporting & try to find Nancy? Not KVOA, you should be ashamed of this! Find Nancy," a third comment read, adding a special thank you to YouTubers who have been covering the case.

"This was a pathetic hit piece on streamers while using their footage and interviews. Nothing new and no updates. Absolutely appalling and disgusting & edited by a two year old. What a damn joke," a fourth X user added.

KVOA has not publicly responded to the criticism.

Sophie Cunningham and West Wilson Reveal the Real Moment March Madness Is Won

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 7:40am

WNBA star and Show Me Somethingpodcast host Sophie Cunningham says the moment March Madness is truly won doesn’t happen under the lights—it happens the night before, in a hotel room, when teammates finally relax, connect, and start trusting each other.

Cunningham and cohost West Wilson, sports journalist for Complex and Summer House star, say those unseen, off-court moments, combined with single-elimination pressure are where March Madness is actually won, turning unknown players into breakout stars and good teams into unforgettable runs.

"One moment that fans never see is the time the team spends together off-the-court. The film sessions and the shootarounds are important, but it's when two or three players are gathered in their room, not even talking about basketball, and someone cracks a joke and the whole mood shifts. You walk onto the court the next day loose, connected, trusting each other," Cunningham explains to Parade.

View this post on Instagram

She and Wilson partnered with Marriott Bonvoy to host a four-episode series premiering March 24 during the NCAA Tournament, part of the “Where Gameday Checks In” campaign. "We will reminisce on gameday memories like that on Live From the Bracket. Marriott Bonvoy gets it because they know the hotel isn't just where you sleep, it's where the team actually becomes a team," Cunningham remarks.

Adding further insight, Wilson says March Madness levels the playing field. "March Madness is the great equalizer because it's single elimination. There's no 'we'll get them next game.' That pressure either breaks you or reveals something in you," he says. "An unknown sophomore who's been coming off the bench all season suddenly gets 28 minutes because a starter fouls out, and the whole country is watching. That's not luck, that's the tournament pulling the story out of you."

The tournament’s finality is why he and Cunningham wanted to "dig into these moments on Live From the Bracket in partnership with Marriott Bonvoy. The chaos of the bracket is exactly where the best stories live," Wilson shares.

That being said, could Parade get Wilson and Cunningham to spill their picks? Uh, no. Cunningham says she has "thoughts on who's cutting down the nets this year" and Wilson shares that he'll talk picks off mic. "Sophie and I are going to be getting into who we think takes it all, hearing from celeb guests who think they've figured it out, and honestly just having the best time doing it," he says. "New episodes drop throughout March Madness so you do not want to miss it. Follow Show Me Somethingon Instagram and YouTube so you don't miss a thing."

Cunningham and Wilson say advancing teams live on the giant bracket at the JW Marriott Indianapolis will be an electric, full-circle moment, bringing them into the heart of March Madness. They emphasize the bracket as both a powerful visual centerpiece and storytelling anchor for the podcast, with Marriott Bonvoy’s campaign placing them at the center of the action from tip-off through the Final Four. Together, they agree: before the buzzer-beaters and bracket chaos, March Madness is won in the quiet, off-court moments no one sees.

There's also the continued question of whether we can fully trust her assistant, Mel Day, played by Cassady McClincy Zhang, who keeps being really nosy about Colter's cases, though no one in the office seems to have picked up on it just yet.

As for the episode, the synopsis for "Breakway," airing on March 22, reads, "After Baxter (David Ramsey), a veteran stuntman, disappears following a risky stunt, his girlfriend, Laura (Erica Durance), calls Colter to investigate a B-movie set, uncovering shady producers and a trail that leads into a dangerous underground world."

As usual, it's up to Colter to figure it out and bring justice.

1986 Rock Classic Was a Legendary Band’s First No. 1 40 Years Ago Today

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 7:14am

Four decades ago, a dreamy power ballad helped a now-legendary rock band score its first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart.

On March 22, 1986, Heart's song "These Dreams," a single on the group's self-titled eighth studio album released the year before, soared to the top of the charts, becoming the group's first certified hit.

The exciting milestone actually came after Heart had already released some of the group's most well-known hits, including "Barracuda" and "Magic Man," but it wasn't until years into the band's tenure that the group got to the No. 1 spot.

Along with "These Dreams," the other singles on the Heart album, which came out on June 21, 1985, included "What About Love," "Never," "Nothin' at All," and "If Looks Could Kill." All of the singles except for "If Looks Could Kill" reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album is Heart's only record to top the Billboard Top 200.

While Heart has undergone a few different lineup changes throughout the band's long career, lead singer Ann Wilson and singer and guitarist Nancy Wilson remain the core members. At the time of Heart's release, the band also included Howard Leese, Mark Andes, and Denny Carmassi.

Related: Heart’s Nancy Wilson Stuns in Rare Romantic Photo With Husband

"These Dreams" is one of only two of the band's singles to feature Nancy instead of Ann on lead vocals, and according to Nancy, the extreme success of the song caused a little tension between the sisters.

Speaking with Yahoo Entertainment/SiriusXM Volume in 2021, Nancy recalled, "When I was singing on the demo, the mock vocal, I had a cold that day, so my voice was really scratchy. And [the producers] said, ‘That's really a cool sound. We should keep that in the song.’"

"So, it just came about, like every which way, for that song to actually become the very first ever No. 1 single we ever had — and Ann was pissed!” she went on.

Luckily, Heart went on to have two more No. 1 tracks, with "Alone" in 1987 and "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You" in 1990.

Virgin to Debut a New 33-Room Farmhouse Retreat Near Marrakech

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 7:10am

If you've ever found yourself torn between the high-energy pulse of the Marrakech Medina and the soul-soothing silence of the Atlas Mountains, Sir Richard Branson has some very good news for your 2027 travel calendar.

Virgin Limited Edition has officially pulled back the curtain on its second Moroccan property, and it is shaping up to be the ultimate "best of both worlds" home base. Currently under construction just 25 minutes from the heart of the city, this yet-to-be-named sanctuary is a 37-suite small luxury hotel that feels more like a chic, private agricultural estate than a traditional resort.

Nestled within a sprawling 10-hectare organic farm, the property is a literal garden of earthly delights, surrounded by citrus orchards, ancient olive groves and vegetable gardens.

The vibe here is "farm-to-table luxury," where the three on-site restaurants and exclusive Chef’s Table will pull seasonal produce directly from the backyard. For those who like a little mystery with their mint tea, there is even a speakeasy bar in the works—perfect for a nightcap after a day spent exploring the souks.

While Virgin’s iconic Kasbah Tamadot has long been the gold standard for mountain luxury (and recently snagged three Michelin Keys), this new estate offers a different kind of reset. It is designed as a peaceful "buffer" between the buzz of the city and the stillness of the peaks.

You can spend your morning haggling for rugs in the city and your afternoon lounging by a massive 40-meter signature swimming pool or sweating it out in a traditional Moroccan hammam. If you are the type who can’t sit still, the estate is also packing the grounds with active options like horse riding, tennis and the sport of the moment, padel.

Joe Margison, CEO of Virgin Hotels Collection, noted that this project is all about bringing that "unmistakable Virgin magic" to a setting deeply rooted in Berber tradition. By the time the first 22 keys open in early 2027, guests will be able to "twin-centre" their trip—starting with the lush, low-slung luxury of the Marrakech farm before heading an hour uphill to the rugged beauty of the Atlas Mountains.

Bookings are set to open in September 2026, so mark your calendars now. Whether you are looking for a "solo-cation" reset or a milestone girlfriend getaway, Branson is making sure Morocco remains the ultimate "it" destination for years to come.

1965 Motown Album With One of the 'Greatest Songs of All Time' Came Out 61 Years Ago Today

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 7:05am

It's been exactly 61 years since The Temptations released their soulful sophomore album.

On March 22, 1965, the legendary Motown group dropped The Temptations Sing Smokey, their second studio album, featured one of their most successful songs.

Co-written and produced by Smokey Robinson, the 12-track record famously featured "My Girl," which would later be regarded as one of the greatest songs of all time, by many accounts.

The Temptations Sing Smokey also featured popular songs like "The Way You Do The Things You Do" and "It's Growing," but it was "My Girl" that became a career-defining smash hit for the group.

View this post on Instagram

"My Girl" was released as a single in December 1964, before later being included on The Temptations Sing Smokey. With lead vocals by David Ruffin, "My Girl" earned the group their first No. 1 hit, after it shot up on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early March 1965. It also spent six weeks at the top of Billboard's R&B songs chart.

"My Girl" has since been ranked as one of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, first coming in at #88 in 2004, before moving up to #41 in the updated 2021 edition.

In 1998, "My Girl" was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, which honors "recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old," according to the official website.

"My Girl" was also selected for the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress in 2017, and was officially inducted in 2018.

"I’m totally overwhelmed by 'My Girl' receiving such an honor," Robinson said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter at the time. "As a songwriter, it has become my international anthem. People in countries where English is not the primary language know and sing 'My Girl' when I perform it."

1975 No. 1 Hit Ranked Among ‘Top Love Songs of All Time’—Called ‘Most Beautiful Hit Record Ever’

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 6:54am

In 1975, Minnie Riperton had a massive hit with “Lovin’ You.” The song, written by Riperton and her husband, Richard Rudolph and co-produced by Stevie Wonder for the album Perfect Angel, hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 5, 1975. More than 50 years later, Billboardranked the ballad as one of the top 50 love songs of all time.

Paste magazine went a step further, saying Riperton’s vocals “very well might be the greatest singing performance captured on tape.” “'Lovin’ You' is a lullaby surrounded by talking birds, with Richard Rudolph’s acoustic guitar strumming delicately against Wonder’s notes. It’s maybe the most beautiful hit record ever,” the outlet noted.

“Lovin’ You” showcased Riperton’s impressive vocal range and mastery of the whistle register. Radio listeners both loved and hated the background bird chirping in the song, thus “Lovin’ You” has also landed on its share of worst songs lists.

‘Lovin You’ almost didn’t make the album

"Lovin’ You” was inspired by a lullaby Riperton sang to her daughter, future Saturday Night Livestar Maya Rudolph. In an interview with Okay Player, Richard Rudolph recalled, “Minnie was in the kitchen singing, and I was playing the guitar in the other room and suddenly, she started singing something and I went, ‘What?’ That stuck, and I knew that we had it. I didn’t have the bridge yet and then I did that.”

The songwriter noted that during a studio session, it was Wonder’s idea to add the bird sounds. “The window had been open, and there was a bird singing outside. Stevie said, ‘Get the bird,’” he shared. “We went out to the UCLA Botanical Garden with his Nagra tape recorder, and Minnie would sit there and try to sing these really high bird calls and get birds to sing.”

Rudolph added that the record label initially didn’t see “Lovin’ You” as a single.

“The interesting thing about that song was that the record label didn’t think they could release it as a single,” he said. “They didn’t want to release it."

"We had been out on a tour," he continued. "We were playing the set, and when we started to play 'Lovin’ You,’ we saw this amazing thing happen to these people. People started moving closer to each other and putting their arms around each other. It was like a transformational role, and Minnie looked back at me, and I looked at her and asked, ‘Do you see this? This is crazy.’ We came back and said to the label, ‘You’ve got to put this out.’ They responded, ‘You can’t do it. She’s a Black singer and she’s got no bass and no drums.”’ All the experts told us, but we just kept arguing and trying.”

‘Lovin’ You was Minnie Riperton’s only No. 1 hit

Riperton lived less than five years after the success of "Lovin’ You.” The young mother and beloved songstress died from breast cancer on July 12, 1979, at age 31.

In a 2025 interview with The Los Angeles Times, Rudolph looked back on the 50 years since his late wife’s big hit and admitted that “sometimes it’s beautiful and sometimes it’s very painful” to listen to her music.

But he added, “It really touches my heart that the younger generation of musicians is still moved by Minnie and what she did.”

4 Core Traits of People Born on the 25th, Per Numerology

Sun, 03/22/2026 - 6:32am

What does it mean if you’re born on the 25th? Regardless of zodiac sign or birth month, your birth date speaks to your core personality traits, challenges, and so much more. Each birth date aligns with the numerological meanings of one to three numbers. So, if you’re born on the 25th, your birth date resonates with the numerological associations of 2, 5, and 7. Having this birth date means you’re a balanced yet eager individual who seeks knowledge, answers, and depth. Read on to discover the numerological significance of 25, challenges to watch for, and four core personality traits that define you.

The Numerological Significance of Number 25

Finding the numerological meaning and symbolism of 25 is easy. Begin by breaking 25 down into two single-digit numbers, which would be 2 and 5. Then add these numbers together to get 7. Doing this determines that the numerological significance of 25 correlates with the combined energies of 2, 5, and 7.

2’s mystical and intuitive, so this is high-vibrational energy aligned with spirituality. 5’s energy comes across as curious, witty, and quick, so 5 brings a sense of wonder. 7 appears profound and wise, since this number is concerned with understanding life’s mysteries and karmic lessons. These unique energies come together to form 25, which is a dreamy yet eager spirit. People who align with 25’s energy are usually dreamers with lofty goals and impressive plans. Most may feel overwhelmed, but not these individuals. They trust their intuition, intellect, and spirituality to accomplish whatever they set their mind to.

People who embrace 25’s energy also embrace this number’s cosmic ruler, Neptune, the astrological planet of fantasy, illusion, and inspiration. Neptune imparts a rich imagination. Those who align with Neptune are able to see beyond what’s right in front of them, so they have incredible inner worlds, realistic daydreams, and an unbridled optimism that anything is possible.  They may benefit from using a crystal like Spirit Quartz, which enhances dreaminess and protects one’s aura.

Challenges to Watch For

Those born on the 25th are gifted with immense insight, spiritual knowledge, and inspiration that may carry them further than they ever expected. However, this doesn’t come without challenges.

People with this birth date initially struggle with finding their inner temperance. They may initially struggle with their depth. It’s not unlikely that they were called “old souls” as children, because they were attuned to everyone else’s feelings and possessed an uncanny wisdom. They may have felt alone for being this mature at such a young age, but this will resolve as long as they work on being emotionally grounded. Being Neptunian means they may struggle to be realistic, as idealism and fantasy can take over. Working on grounding techniques can help them step into their spiritual wisdom and use their imagination to their advantage.

Core Personality Traits of Those Born on the 25th1. Dream It, Do It

The wildest dreams can come true for those born on the 25th. Neptune helps these individuals imagine the impossible. Their inner world is rich and exciting, which can translate to their waking world. Before that happens, they will discover that they can manifest their dream life simply by visualizing it. Having faith in their dreams can inspire them to see where it may go. Working with their intuition and imagination can help them manifest a life many would deem impossible to achieve.

    2. Aligned & Curious

People born on the 25th trust themselves. They trust themselves—a rare quality since so many doubt their inner voice, but not these people. Numerology says that those born on the 25th are wise beyond their years. They have a deep emotional intelligence that reinforces the spiritual knowledge that guides them in all they do. Although they know so much, they’re always seeking to learn more. Following their intuition and curiosity will lead to unexpected adventures, developments, and insights.

      3. Tapping Into One’s Inner Mystic

Psychics are born on the 25th. Between the numerological energy and being ruled by Neptune, those with this birth date have spiritual gifts. They might have super senses, like clairvoyance or claircognizance. They could also consider themselves empaths if they readily pick up on the emotional energy around them. It’s not unusual for these individuals to have prophetic dreams and see spirits. Divination, like tarot or astrology, may come naturally to these people. Instead of denying their mysticism, they ought to lean in and trust their spirituality.

        4. Inquisitive & Observant

What else is there? Someone born on the 25th isn’t afraid to ask the soul-searching questions and dive deep for the answers. They’re aware that there’s more than what meets the eye, so they like to take a step back and watch how everything unfolds. Whether it’s being an observant student in class or acting as a fly on the wall in a social situation, they’re always looking for a deeper meaning. People with this birth date are studious because they know there’s always something more than what meets the eye.

A Growing U.S. Presence at Target

          Target

The buzz is all about Little Bellies, a popular Australian baby and toddler snack brand that's been steadily expanding in the United States—and is now rolling out new products at major retailers like Target.

Little Bellies creates snacks specifically designed for different developmental phases. The brand focuses on organic, non-GMO ingredients with no artificial flavors, colors or added sugars, which is a big draw for parents looking for cleaner options.

At Target, shoppers can now find new launches like Organic Carrot Mini Pick-Me Sticks, as well as Organic Raspberry & Apple Nibblers and Organic Blueberry & Banana Nibblers. These introduce fun shapes and textures, including puffed corn stars mixed with real freeze-dried fruit, designed to keep curious toddlers engaged while they snack.

Little Bellies co-founder Clive Sher says they are "so excited" to be launching the new products in the U.S. and confirms that they will be rolling out in mid-March. "We are grateful to the retailers who support and believe in us as well as our community of parents who trust Little Bellies as they navigate all stages of their children's feeding journey. It's a privilege to be on this journey with them," Sher says.

The fan-favorite brand has exciting products popping up in Walmart stores, too.

Why Parents Are Thrilled About the Expansion

What sets Little Bellies apart isn't just the ingredient list—it's the thoughtful design behind each product. Snacks are created to support self-feeding, helping babies and toddlers build coordination and confidence while they eat. Soft textures for younger babies, more complex shapes for older toddlers—it's all intentional.

There's also a big emphasis on keeping things simple. Ingredients are recognizable, like corn, fruits and grains, and everything is gently baked instead of heavily processed. Many products also include nutrients like iron, which can be especially important during early development.

With prices and availability similar to other mainstream baby snacks, the brand's expansion into Target makes it more accessible than ever. And with new flavors, textures and formats hitting shelves now, it's clear this isn't just a one-time drop—it's a growing presence in the U.S. baby aisle.

For parents looking to mix up snack time with something a little more intentional, this might be one of the most exciting new finds of the season.

Nancy Guthrie Exclusive: Retired Detective Flags Curious Detail in WiFi Jammer Theory

          Sun, 03/22/2026 - 6:15am

Could a WiFi jammer have interfered with surveillance cameras on the night Nancy Guthrie vanished? There have been a plethora of rumors floating around that the person or persons involved in Guthrie's disappearance may have used a WiFi jammer to block signals in an effort to help them stay untraceable after the alleged kidnapping.

In an exclusive interview with Parade, former NYPD detective David Sarni weighed the possibility, highlighting a detail that has yet to be explained.

"A WiFi jammer can interfere with a signal. They are illegal to own but can be bought online," Sarni says. "Someone [in the neighborhood] had a camera go out around the time of the abduction. It’s a possibility [that a WiFi jammer] was used." Then, he points to one curious detail.

"If there was a WiFi jammer used, why not use it before entering the camera's view that night?" Sarni wonders. "Unless they never tested it before or forgot to turn it on."

As the internet has spent countless hours analyzing the FBI-released videos and photos of the armed individual on Guthrie's front stoop, some noticed that the perp had something with an antenna sticking out of his pants pocket.

In late February, NewsNation’s Brian Entin sat down with former FBI agent Tracy Walder who said that the antenna could be part of a walkie talkie.

“I can’t confirm what’s in his pocket,” Walder told Entin. “The walkie talkie makes sense in the fact that…I feel a getaway vehicle is gonna be critical in this case if there’s someone else that helped, and so that would be a way—obviously you wouldn’t want to use a cell phone—that would be a way in a short range to communicate with someone to bring a car to a certain location."

Walder also acknowledged that the item could have been a WiFi jammer, though she felt that was less likely as she doesn't think the suspect or suspects brought cell phones with them that night.

"I think we would have him by now if he did," she told Entin.

Authorities believe that Guthrie was abducted from her home in the middle of the night on Sunday, Feb. 1. Her whereabouts are still unknown and a suspect has yet to be publicly identified.

Viking Just Launched a Massive World First for 2026

          Sun, 03/22/2026 - 6:10am

If you’ve been following the world of cruising lately, you know that the industry is in the middle of a major glow-up. We aren't just talking about bigger water slides or better buffets; we’re talking about a massive shift toward "green" travel that actually feels good to book. Viking—the brand we already love for its elegant, "no-kids-allowed" atmosphere—just took a giant leap forward by launching the Viking Libra at the Ancona shipyard in Italy.

What makes this launch so special? The Viking Libra is officially the world’s first cruise ship powered by hydrogen. Using a high-tech system based on liquefied hydrogen and fuel cells, it’s designed to be much kinder to the oceans we love to explore. It’s the kind of innovation that makes you feel a little better about that "once-in-a-lifetime" splurge.

“The float out of the Viking Libra represents another milestone for Viking and our continued partnership with Fincantieri, saidTorstein Hagen, Chairman and CEO of Viking in a press statement. “From the beginning, our approach to ship design has focused on reducing fuel consumption, and the Viking Libra is our most environmentally friendly vessel yet. Investing in hydrogen was a principled choice for Viking, offering a true zero-emission solution, and we look forward to welcoming the world’s first hydrogen-powered cruise ship to our fleet.”

Small Ship, Big Luxury View this post on Instagram

While some of the mega-ships out there feel like floating cities, Viking continues to lean into that intimate, boutique hotel vibe. The Viking Libra is perfectly sized for travelers who want to actually see the destination without the crowds:

          • The "Just Right" Size: It accommodates only 998 passengers in 499 staterooms.
          • All the Perks: Every single room on a Viking ocean ship comes with a private veranda, so you’re guaranteed a front-row seat to the fjords or the Mediterranean coastline.
          • The Timeline: Libra was just launched (which in shipyard terms means she hit the water for the first time!) and is scheduled for official delivery at the end of 2026.

          A Milestone for Sustainable Travel

For those of us who care about the footprint we leave behind while we wander, this is a huge moment. This ship is the result of a long-standing partnership between Viking and the master shipbuilders at Fincantieri, proving that "premium travel" can finally mean "responsible travel."

As we look toward 2027 and beyond, the Viking Libra is setting a new gold standard. It’s a "first" that isn't about being the biggest or the flashiest—it’s about being the smartest. It’s no wonder they were recently named "World’s Best" by both Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler simultaneously (the only travel company to ever pull that off). Whether you’re dreaming of a milestone anniversary trip or finally taking that luxury solo escape, this hydrogen-powered beauty is definitely the one to watch.

On This Day in 1957, Elvis Presley Released One of His Biggest No. 1 Hits

          Sun, 03/22/2026 - 6:00am

Exactly 69 years ago today, Elvis Presley shook things up with the release of one of his most popular tracks.

On March 22, 1957, the King of Rock and Roll released his version of "All Shook Up," which would later become not only a fan-favorite track, but also a massive No. 1 hit.

"All Shook Up," written by Otis Blackwell, was originally performed by David Hill (a.k.a. David Hess) in 1956, before Elvis recorded his version in January 1957. It was released two months later as an A-side single, with "That's When Your Heartaches Begin" as the B-side.

Elvis' version of "All Shook Up" would go on to become the most famous version of the track, rising to the top of the charts in April 1957, where it spent a total of nine weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's since-discontinued chart of Jukebox Hits.

          View this post on Instagram

Over a decade later, Elvis included "All Shook Up" in his NBC Comeback Special in 1968, performing it in a medley of his early career hits like "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Hound Dog."

"All Shook Up," a 2-time platinum certified single by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), has been included on a number of Elvis compilation albums, including Elvis' Golden Records (1958) and Elvis: 30 #1 Hits (2002).

It's also been named on several "best of" lists, including Billboard's roundup of Elvis' 37 Biggest Hits, published in 2024, where it was placed in the No. 2 spot. It was also ranked #15 on Forbes' 2024 list of the Top 20 Elvis Presley Songs of All Time.

In 2022, Parade published a list of the Top 20 Best Elvis Songs Ever, where "All Shook Up" was ranked at No. 3.

'When Calls the Heart' Creator Brian Bird Spills on Tonight's Finale and Season 14 Scoop (Exclusive)

          Sun, 03/22/2026 - 5:47am

For several decades, Brian Bird has built a storytelling legacy rooted in hope, family, faith, and community—and he’s not slowing down anytime soon.

As the producer, showrunner and co-creator of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart, Bird continues to champion the Hearties—one of television’s most loyal fan communities. With the highly anticipated Season 13 finale just hours away and production already underway for Season 14, the future of Hope Valley is anything but quiet.

Off-screen, the cast is growing, too. Babies are on the way for WCTH stars Erin Krakow, Ben Rosenbaum, Kevin McGarry and Chris McNally. "We may need an on-set childcare center soon," Bird jokes.

Now, with his new documentary The Story of Everything hitting theaters April 30, Bird is expanding his reach and tackling one of life’s biggest questions: Does the universe itself point to an intelligent design?

Based on Stephen C. Meyer’s book Return of the God Hypothesis, the film blends science, philosophy and faith in a way Bird hopes will spark deeper conversations. The book also presents scientific evidence for the existence of God.

Bird stays busy, even when WCTH is on hiatus. "I always look for a project that uplifts people and invites meaningful dialogue,” he exclusively tells Parade. “We’re all sending messages every day and this is a deep dive into modern science and the origins of life in a powerful, hopeful way."

He continues: "I believe we send messages every day because everyone is making content. My worldview of hope, life and faith aligns well with my opportunity to get involved in an adaptation of a major book that delves into modern science on The Big Bang Theory. It has taken my partners and me five years of blood, sweat, tears and elbow grease to take this stunning and uplifting deep dive into science."

Extremely thankful for the devoted WCTH fans known as the Hearties, Bird said that he believes they will enjoy the movie because the content is unique.

"When Michael Landon, Jr. and I gave birth to WCTH (the first episode aired on January 11, 2014), we felt that a lot of the programming was bleak, cynical and dripping with cynicism,” Bird explains. "I think the Hearties will love the documentary for the same reason they appreciate When Calls the Heart—because it points to something bigger than themselves and it helps them head out of their fears and worries. It is about a bigger movement of hope."

On the heels of the WCTH Season 13 finale, Bird appreciates that the town of Hope Valley opens its arms to the residents of Benson Hills.

"What excites me about this season is that I wish I could live in Hope Valley," he says. "It takes place in the 1920s, but I hear so many people today say they wish the same thing."

Related: Erin Krakow Teases ‘Never-Before-Seen’ Elizabeth and Nathan Moments in ‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 13 (Exclusive)

"The storytelling was extremely epic with the raging wildfire and Hope Valley taking the people of Benson Hills into their arms and caring for them. I thought it was a beautiful way to talk about the importance of community," he continues. "Community has always been important to us. Hope Valley is as much of a star; the virtues and values of Hope Valley have been super important."

He adds that he continues to appreciate the evolution of Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins). During the early days of WCTH, Henry was a "guy who was trying to kick women who lost their husbands out of their housing and later found his own personal redemption. He went from a ruthless man to tending hazelnut trees in his older age, and trying to be a good father to his son and help his son turn into a good man."

Bird is also excited that Season 13 continued to pay homage to characters of the past. For example, Jack Thornton has been gone since Season 5, which is a whole eight seasons ago. "But he is still honored in such a rich, fulfilling, and emotional way," he says. "There are two or three good cries in every episode this season."

Prior to WCTH, Bird was a key writer and co-executive producer on several seasons of Touched by an Angel. "When we were building [that show], every episode had to have at least one good cry," he explains. "With When Calls the Heart, I want to continue to make content that helps people through the joys and challenges of their lives." With romance blossoming and an engagement looming for Elizabeth (Krakow) and Nathan (McGarry), Bird explains that their story is really just beginning.

“A lot of people will talk about courtships and say that when they are finally married, the storyline is over," he explains. "But I don’t think a potential engagement or marriage is the end to their storytelling."

"Future seasons will focus on a show about how this couple is going to adjust to being a family now," he teases. "I’m excited as I peek in right now for Season 14—it is as fun and epic as this season. The audience needs to buckle up and not get too comfortable with Nathan and Elizabeth—because there is more coming."

When asked if there is a wedding on the horizon for Season 14, he slyly replies, "No comment—the writing is on the wall." Sheesh!

Two other pivotal characters whom Bird enjoys in the series are married couple Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith) because of their evolution. Rosemary first arrived in Hope Valley as a villain who was a thorn in Elizabeth’s side.

"But Rosemary found new purpose," he reflects. "For me, Rosemary and Lee are the glue that keeps Hope Valley together and keep us coming back for more. They are fun and funny, and fans appreciate them appearing together in their Hallmark movies."

He continues: "They are the Lucy and Ricky on our set. They are true comic gold. Their comic timing is so amazing, and they present such a beautiful human side to many emotional and dramatic scenes."

He mentioned Rosemary and Lee becoming foster parents to Gwendolyn—a young girl from Benson Hills whose father was hospitalized after the fire and had no available caretaker. "I am a big fan of foster and adoption stories," says Bird. "Two of my five children were adopted, and I know this is super necessary in our world.”

Bird acknowledges that women have it difficult on the frontier. "I am a big fan of the idea that women—especially mothers—are the glue that keeps the world from blowing up," he shares. "I believe they save the world every day."

He continues: "That’s what the premise of WCTH is—a bunch of women who lost their husbands in a terrible mine disaster and had to pick up the pieces and put back the pieces of the town. Strong women having robust action in their lives. We need more women to take over things. The women are the kings of Hope Valley."

Season 13 also saw the return of several notable guest stars—including Melissa Gilbert, Lori Loughlinand Brooke Shields. Gilbert came to Hope Valley in Season 12 and continued into Season 13, attracting many Little House on the Prairie fans.

Brooke Shields plays Jack's mom Charlotte.

In Season 13, Shields returned as Charlotte—Jack Thornton’s mom and Little Jack (LJ’s) grandmother. "We see his mother getting closure over the loss of her son and caring for her grandson," says Bird. "Jack died in Season 5, yet in the current season, his mother is visiting his grave for the first time. That was a beautiful and deeply emotional scene to hear her talking to her deceased son and it involved echoes of the past."

When asked if he could have predicted WCTH's success, Bird responds, "No, not at all. We believed we were making something good. We also knew that the odds were against us being successful. Because in general, it is so hard to launch a new show and find a way to break through all the noise."

He continues: “Michael and I love all of the writers and are humbled, blessed, and amazed at how the audience has responded to these shows. With my faith and family legacy, we are trying to launch a good show that offers the kind of content that we believe in. We don’t take any of it for granted. As long as you [the Hearties and other viewers] keep showing up, we will keep making this content for you."

From the beginning, Bird reveals that they called WCTH "the little show that could." He adds, "It was modest, and everyone sacrificed to get it done. We were kind of stunned when it took off."

He said there are more than two million viewers who identify as Hearties—growing from a grassroots fan base—and made WCTH the top-rated Sunday night scripted show on cable. They not only love the series, but also have become their own close-knit community.

In sum, Bird describes Season 13 of WCTH as epic. "What other show can say in Season 13 that it’s getting better?" he asks. "Sometimes you feel you are losing steam, but we don’t feel that way about WCTH; it’s only growing and building with each new chapter."

The Season 13 finale of When Calls the Heart premieres tonight—Sunday, March 22 at 8/7c on Hallmark. Hope Valley: 1874 premieres on Saturday, March 21 on Hallmark+ with a new episode available every Thursday beginning on March 26.

The Genius '3-Shoe' Carry-On Rule I Wish I Knew Sooner

          Sun, 03/22/2026 - 5:45am

It’s becoming more and more popular to travel with just a carry-on. Especially with airlines nickel-and-diming customers for every little thing, sometimes it can be a huge money saver to forgo checking a bag. It also helps to relieve the stress of losing your luggage while flying (which happens so often these days). Plus, while you’re traveling, having a simple carry-on as your only bag can make hopping from city to city much simpler.

I’m quite the carry-on pro, especially after living out of a suitcase on a Broadway tour for an entire year. Now, I’ve truly learned how to pair down and pack much more strategically. I go on multiple trips a year, and if any trip is less than two weeks, I usually just bring a carry-on with me. I’ve really gotten it down to a science of exactly what I pack inside my carry-on, and I’m about to share a tip that may make this feat way easier for you, too.

Plan Your Outfits Around Your Shoes

In a Yahoo article by Jill Schildhouse, a woman who goes on over 50 flights per year, she shared one of her top packing tips–and I couldn’t agree more with it. In the article, she explains that you shouldn’t plan and pack your outfits first, then figure out shoes that can go with each outfit. Instead, you should start with choosing your shoes. I personally like to stick to the three shoe rule: only packing a comfortable walking shoe, a shoe that is specific to the climate that you’ll be in, and a decorative and fashionable shoe for evenings.

By starting with shoes (and by only packing three) you will then have to make sure that the outfits you pick go with at least one of the pairs of shoes. You get extra points if the outfits can fit multiple pairs of shoes. This will ultimately stop you from “throwing in an extra pair” just because one of the outfits you chose doesn’t go with any of the shoes you planned to pack. Instead, force yourself to stick to the three pairs of shoes, and the rest will fall into place.

How To Pack Your Shoes In Your Carry-On

Once you’ve figured out exactly what shoes and clothing you’ll be bringing, it’s time to organize them in your carry-on. First, always plan to wear your bulkiest pair of shoes as you travel. Then, keep the lightest pair to pack in your carry-on. I’ve recently been covering my shoes in reusable shower caps, that way they don’t get the rest of the items in my luggage dirty. Then, I’ve found that if you place your shoes in the luggage first, it actually optimizes the space the best.

For example, if you take your shoes and place one shoe laying on the bottom of the suitcase, and another lining the side, they will be completely out of the way for the rest of your belongings. I always place my clothes in compression packing cubes, and you can easily place them on top of the shoes. Since shoes don’t really have much wiggle room in their shape, it’s easier to maneuver the packing cubes to fit into certain spots versus trying to force a shoe to fit in the carry-on. The only time that I place shoes on top is if I’m bringing a very flat pair of sandals, and in that case, it’s easy to lay them on top of everything and then close the suitcase.
