Taylor Frankie Paul's ‘Bachelorette’ Suitors Reportedly Considering Legal Action Against ABC

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 2:29pm

Taylor Frankie Paul's Bachelorette cast is reportedly considering legal action against ABC and Warner Bros. Discovery after her season was shockingly canceled.

Paul’s season was scheduled to premiere on Sunday, Mar. 22. On Thursday, Mar. 19, ABC pulled the plug on her season after TMZ released a never-before-seen video that appears to show Paul assaulting her ex-boyfriendDakota Mortensen in 2023.

On Saturday, Mar. 21, TMZ reported that five contestants from her season are considering legal action against the network and Warner Bros. Discovery.

To participate in Paul's season, which filmed from late October to mid-December 2025, contestants left or quit their jobs and put various other opportunities on hold for a shot with Paul. The show is known to launch careers in media and social media influencing as well.

The outlet also reports that the five contestants feel like Warner Bros. Discovery, which produced the show, created an unsafe working environment by allowing Paul to interact with them in intimate settings due to her alleged history of domestic violence.

In 2023, Paul was arrested for alleged domestic violence following an argument with Mortensen. She was given misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, after she was accused of throwing a chair at Mortensen that hit her daughter.

Paul ultimately pleaded guilty to a single charge of aggravated assault, and the domestic violence charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal. She is currently serving a 3-year probation.

The cancellation of Paul's season will likely lead to millions of dollars in losses for both ABC and Warner Bros. Discovery. It also complicates the next season of The Bachelor, if there is one, as the lead is typically chosen from the top four contenders on the previous season of The Bachelorette.

If you or someone you know has been a victim of domestic violence, help is available 24 hours a day through the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800-799-7233.

'The Forsytes' Showrunner Explains How the PBS Series Will Differ From the Books

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 2:17pm

Whenever a TV series is based on books, there are often some changes to the plotlines. That was always going to be the case with The Forsytes, the upcoming PBS adaptation of John Galsworthy’s novels. After all, it was promoted as a prequel series to the books rather than a retelling of the original story.

It turns out that there are going to be more changes, and they will be substantial. However, that doesn’t mean the series won’t be fun for fans of the original novels or the other TV shows that had been based on them.

‘The Forsytes’ Is a Retelling for the Women

According to TV Insider, The Forsytes showrunner, Debbie Horsfield, shares that this new series is inspired by the books, but by the parts of the books that haven’t been told in much detail. The main focus will be on the women, who didn’t get a lot of attention or development throughout Galsworthy’s novels.

She doesn’t mark this as a problem with the books. After all, the time when the books were written meant that there was less interest in the female characters. However, the series is set during a time when women realized that they could be more than mothers and wives. They could gain more in life and start to step out in the world alone, although not everyone was comfortable with that. It’s something Horsfield wanted to focus on.

PBS Masterpiece/Sean Gleason

More Development for Relationships

There will also be a little more development for the relationships in the story. The Forsyte Saga introduces a relationship between Soames and Irene, but they can’t be together due to Irene’s position in society. Horsfield also shares that she doesn’t understand why Irene even wants to marry Soames in the novels, and that was something she needed to change in the series. It’s important to give a character reasons for their actions.

On top of that, it’s important to make characters more sympathetic, and that means changing another element of the story. Horsfield didn’t think that Jolyon was portrayed well in the books, especially with him having an affair and leaving his family, so she wanted to make him a character people could root for and like.

Some may worry that the changes will affect the overall story. However, in the end, the aim is to create something that works for today’s world, and it’s sure to connect to Downton Abbey fans.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Megyn Kelly Speculates Transnational Criminal Group Could Be Behind Abduction

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 2:17pm

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing nearly seven weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and recently, Megyn Kelly speculated about a transnational criminal group being behind it.

On the March 19 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the journalist spoke with security experts James Hamilton and Will Geddes about the possibility.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Kelly brought up Hamilton's theory about the abductors being part of a South American breaking and entering crew.

"You've been saying on this program for a couple of weeks now that you've seen video of these South American criminals who were breaking into homes," adding, "This is my new number one theory. You've got me. Now that. I've seen the video of these guys, I totally get it."

As Kelly shared several of the clips, she insisted, "They look a lot like our perp. They have a hoodie sweatshirt on. They have black masks. They have gloves. They are pretty much covered head to toe."

However, Geddes wasn't convinced. "My gut feeling is it isn't a B&E (breaking and entering). The simple reason being is the value of the contents of the house. And secondly, the actual disappearance of Nancy's body itself, you know, her person, it's vanished."

Related: Nancy Guthrie Update: Investigators Asking About Neighbors Who Moved Out Before Her Disappearance

Still, Hamilton argued, "If you came in here with on a tourist visa, you flew in from another country ,and you came in through a port of entry, we're not going to have your DNA. If you haven't been arrested in the U.S., we're not going to have your fingerprints."

He continued, "To me, that might point toward this theory of it was a transnational criminal group. And that's why we're not getting any DNA hits. But as far as the body, again I'm with Will, I wrestle on that a lot. But I also know that these guys aren't stupid. And it's very difficult for you, as an American, to understand how little human life can be valued. And if you're from another part of the world where human life doesn't mean as much..."

To conclude his thoughts on the topic, Hamilton pointed out, "It is a theory, but a lot of things seem to be adding up."

Nancy was last seen at her Tucson residence on the evening of Jan. 31, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department launching its search for her on Feb. 1. As of writing, a suspect has not been named.

‘The Waltons’ Star Admits He Felt ‘Jilted’ by Richard Thomas’s Exit

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 2:02pm

The Waltons actor Eric Scott is sharing his candid thoughts about his co-star, Richard Thomas's decision to depart the beloved '70s series, which had a nine-season run until 1981.

During an appearance on a March 2026 interview with That's Classic, Scott, who played Ben Walton, opened up about Thomas's exit following the historical drama's fifth season. Scott said that Thomas, who famously starred as John-Boy Walton, was always "very forthright" with his intention to depart the show once season 5 wrapped up. However, Scott said he and his castmates believed that he had been "using that as a negotiating ploy" and would "sign for four more years."

"But he didn't. He walked away," said Scott.

Scott also said he felt "jilted by him leaving," because he had a friendship with Thomas and felt he was integral to the show's success.

"He walked away I felt saddened because he was the glue. When you were having something as as successful as The Waltons were for those first five years and it was running, why would you disrupt the whole thing in the middle of it?" continued Scott, who stayed on the series throughout its nine seasons.

While Scott was upset about his on-screen brother's choice to quit the show, Thomas tried to be "very positive about it."

"The way he expressed it, he goes, 'Look, it might give you an opportunity to do a lot more work on the show,'" said Scott on the That's Classic interview.

In addition, Scott complimented Thomas for his acting abilities.

"Richard, to me, was one of the best actors I've ever been around. And certainly for his age, too. He started when he was 21 on the show," stated Scott during the March 2026 interview.

MeTV reported that Thomas discussed his decision to step away from The Waltons while speaking to The Montreal Star.

"When I signed my contract I decided then that I would remain with the series no longer than five years. That's long enough to be tied up with one project and I want to go on to other things," said the actor.

The publication reported that Robert Wightman took on the role of John-Boy during the show's eighth and ninth seasons.

'Buffy' Star David Boreanaz Shares Heartfelt Tribute to Nicholas Brendon

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 1:58pm

The heartbreaking death of Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander Harris on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, caught his friends, family, and co-stars by surprise. Only 54 years old, his family shared the jarring news that, on March 20, he'd "passed in his sleep of natural causes," with The Hollywood Reporter. On the morning of March 21, David Boreanaz, who played Angel in Buffy alongside Brendon, wrote an emotional and poignant message about his late co-star.

"There are people you work with and then there are people you share time with," Boreanaz captioned a grinning photo of the pair. "Nick was the latter."

He explained how "some moments stay small on paper, a laugh between takes, a look that says we got this, the quiet understanding of showing up and doing the work together."

"But those are the things that last," he continued. The Bones star described Brendon as "real" in a business where so much is fake. He expressed sadness that Brendon was gone, but gratitude for having spent time with him while he was here.

"Rest easy Brother," he added. "Some people leave a mark without trying."

View this post on Instagram

Other cast members who have spoken out about Brendon's passing so far include Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan.

"My Sweet Nicky, thank you for years of laughter, love and Dodgers," Hannigan captioned a shot of Brendon and her character, Willow, tearfully embracing. "I will think of you every time I see a rocking chair.  I love you."

View this post on Instagram

“They’ll never know how tough it is to be the one who isn’t chosen," Gellar captioned a photo of her and Brendon smiling for the camera, using one of Xander's quotes. To live so near to the spotlight, and never step in it. But I know. I see more than anybody realizes, because nobody’s watching me."

"I saw you Nicky," she added. "I know you are at peace, in that big rocking chair in the sky."

View this post on Instagram

While the source of the rocking-chair comments isn't entirely clear, a Redditor dug up a big hit article two years into Buffy's run that may help explain them.

Brendon admitted he had a rocking-chair obsession and also talked a bit about his Hollywood Hills home. "I have a stereo, a TV, books, rocking chairs, my dog," he said. "I'm a happy man."

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller Dies — President Trump Responds

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 1:42pm

“With deep sadness, we are sharing the news that Bob passed away” on Friday night, his family said in a statement Saturday, given to The Associated Press. “His family asks that their privacy be respected.”

According to theAP, Mueller began his 12-year tenure with the FBI one week before the Sept. 11 attacks. Serving across presidents of both political parties, Mueller was nominated to the position by President George W. Bush. Because of the timing of his appointment, he transformed the law enforcement agency into a terrorism-fighting force.

Mueller was also the special counsel leading the Justice Department’s probe into whether the Trump campaign illegally worked with Russia to sway the 2016 presidential election outcome. The investigation concluded in 2019, declaring that Russia had indeed interfered with the election.

President Trump's Reaction to Bob Mueller's Death

The investigation became the ire of Trump who repeatedly bashed the probe as a “witch hunt” and a “hoax.” Trump also said Mueller's findings "exonerated" him. Taking to his social media platform today, Trump responded to the news of Mueller’s death.

“Robert Mueller just died. Good, I’m glad he’s dead,” the president wrote. “He can no longer hurt innocent people!”

The response is now going viral.

Bob Mueller's Cause of Death

Mueller was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease several years ago, according to The Hill. His exact cause of death, however, has not been released.

News of his death was first reported by MS NOW.

Duggar Family Reacts to Joseph's Arrest & Child Molestation Charges

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 1:33pm

Former Counting On stars Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Duggar, were both recently arrested and face serious charges—and several members of the Duggar family have released statements about the child molestation, child endangerment, and false imprisonment allegations against them.

On March 18, Joseph, 31, was arrested by the Bay County Sheriff's Office and charged with lewd and lascivious behavior—molestation of a victim less than 12 years old, and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older, the BCSO announced in a news release shared via Facebook.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

The alleged incidents involved a 9-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation in Florida.

"The victim reported Duggar repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap. As the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit next to him on a couch and covered them with a blanket, the news release detailed. "During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs. The victim stated Duggar eventually apologized for his actions and the incidents stopped after the apology."

On March 20, Joseph's wife, Kendra, 27, was arrested and charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment, according to a news release from the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas. Joseph also faces the same charges.

A source with knowledge of the case told Us Weekly, “Kendra’s arrest has nothing to do with Joseph’s—although one precipitated another. After his charge, they automatically do a home study if minors live there. They came to her house.”

The source added, “Apparently, they had two rooms where the lock of the doorknob was on the outside instead of inside. They arrested her and took her kids for that, saying it’s evidence that she wrongly detains her kids."

Jill Duggar Was the First to Issue a Statement About Joseph's Arrest

On March 19, Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, reacted to Joseph's arrest with a statement on their blog.

"We were shocked yesterday evening to learn of Jill’s brother (Joseph Duggar’s) arrest," they wrote. "We first learned of anything related to his charges yesterday via a text from a friend who messaged us about the recent media reports of Joseph’s arrest and his alleged confession to molesting a juvenile female in 2020. We are shocked and heartbroken."

View this post on Instagram

The message continued, "We strongly condemn abuse. We support the rule of law and hope that justice will be achieved. Our hearts go out to the innocent juvenile victim of this unspeakable crime and her family. We pray God gives her strength, comfort and hope, and that she is able to get all the help and support she needs and deserves in the days ahead."

To conclude their statement, the former Counting On couple shared, "We love our sister-in-law, Kendra, and our four nieces and nephews and pray that they feel loved and supported during this time as we cannot imagine the indescribable pain they feel as they process and grieve everything."

Jessa Duggar Also Reacted Publicly to the Charges Against Joseph

On March 20, Jessa Duggar issued a statement with her husband, Ben Seewald, regarding Joseph's arrest.

“We learned of this saddening news along with the rest of the world on Wednesday, and we are in complete shock,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories but later deleted. “Our hearts are grieving for this innocent young girl, and we know this is deeply grievous to God, who cares tenderly for children and the vulnerable. We are keeping her in our prayers.”

Amy Duggar Slammed Joseph After His Arrest

Amy Duggar, the niece of Jim Bob Duggar and cousin to Joseph, issued a statement shared on Instagram.

"My first thoughts are with the victim, a child who deserved to be safe, protected and surrounded by people she could trust," she shared. "The courage it took for her to come forward, especially after years of carrying something so heavy, cannot be overstated. That bravery deserves to be honored above all else."

Although Amy said she was "utterly shocked to hear about these allegations and Joseph’s arrest," she acknowledged that "at the same time, I am not surprised that another alleged predator has emerged from this toxic system."

View this post on Instagram

She continued, "For years, I have spoken out about the importance of truth, accountability and protecting children, even when it meant going against my own family. Family ties should never equal automatic trust or access, especially when it comes to the safety of children. When an image is protected over truth, and silence is chosen over accountability, it creates an environment where abuse can thrive."

Additionally, Amy said she has "worked hard to break cycles" in her family through her book, Holy Disruptor: Shattering the Shiny Facade by Getting Louder with the Truth. She noted that she is "praying for the victim and her family as they walk through what is sure to be an incredibly difficult road ahead."

To conclude her statement, Amy shared, "Recognizing that we do not yet know the full picture, I am also praying for Joseph’s wife, Kendra, as she begins to process this, and for the protection of their children. I'm praying for eyes to be opened and above all, I pray that justice will be served to the fullest."

Josh Duggar Sent a Message From Prison

On March 20, Josh Duggarreleased a statement through his attorney while serving a 12-year prison sentence following a child sexual abuse material (CSAM) conviction.

Josh said that the allegations against Joseph “deeply saddened” him, telling the Daily Mail, “Josh understands the stigma of being accused.”

The statement continued, “He lives with the painful reality of how false accusations can destroy a life. He understands how the targeting of a person for publicity can twist the truth into sensationalized fiction.”

If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual assault, help is available 24 hours a day through RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-4673.

With spring and summer on the horizon, one thing is certain: more time spent outdoors. And while we've been daydreaming all winter about warm-weather adventures, sometimes all you need is your front or backyard, your closest friends, a barbecue and ice-cold refreshments to turn an ordinary spring day into a full-blown seasonal celebration.

The thing is, if you're entertaining guests at home and plan to keep the festivities outdoors, a little yard work is probably in order after a long, cold season. That's where Aldi lends a helping hand with the Gardenline Pop-Up Collapsible Garden Bag. A true yard work hero, this compact and durable $7 tool is perfect for corralling yard trimmings, cleaning up after a party, and so much more.

Gardenline Pop-Up Collapsible Garden Bag, $6.99 at Aldi

Aldi

If you have any experience with mowing the yard or even trimming shrubs, plants and trees, you know all too well the struggle of corralling all the trimmings with a standard plastic trash bag. Sticks poke holes, bigger pieces threaten to burst through the bottom and using all that plastic just feels wasteful. That alone makes a reusable garden bag a worthy investment.

With Aldi's Gardenline Pop-Up Collapsible Garden Bag, you get a versatile vessel for just $7, with a 26-gallon capacity and a maximum weight of 110 pounds. And if you're thinking, "Wow, that sounds hefty," it absolutely is, but don't let that fool you; it can also be extremely compact, too.

Thanks to its collapsible design, when not in use, you can easily fold the bag into a small disc and tuck it away. At 22.83 inches tall when expanded and 18.5 inches in diameter, it provides plenty of space for leaves, branch cuttings, grass trimmings and other garden waste.

Aldi

Adding to the bag's smart, detailed design and versatility, shoppers will appreciate its garden green color and durable gray carrying straps attached to both the top and bottom. The top straps are slightly longer, making it easy to carry the bag from one space to another, with an included velcro tab that keeps them secured together when needed. The lower straps are a bit shorter, but ideal for squatting down to lift heavier loads onto a table, into a truck, or to empty the contents into a larger bag.

Perhaps the best part, however, is the fact that this bag can be repurposed for a wide range of uses around the home. Use it to corral kids' or pets' toys from the yard, as a laundry bag in the mudroom or even as a catch-all for random items that haven't yet found their forever home while you do a little spring cleaning. It can also come in handy for storing sports equipment in the garage or keeping extra pillows and blankets ready for guests.

Don't miss out on this handy spring home addition. And while you're scoping out the rest of the selection at Aldi, check out this three-pack of customizable organizers and this super cool window bird feeder.

Harrison Ford Dropped Out 60 Years Ago and Now He's Back With a Graduation Speech

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 1:21pm

Harrison Ford spent part of his college years feeling utterly lost. Isolated, adrift, unsure where he belonged, until he stumbled into a theater rehearsal and found, as he later put it, his people. The actor told that story publicly when he accepted the SAG-AFTRA Lifetime Achievement Award on March 1. Now, six decades into one of the most celebrated careers in Hollywood history, he is going back to a college campus. Arizona State University announced on March 19 that Ford will deliver the commencement address to its undergraduate Class of 2026 on May 11 at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.

He will also receive an honorary Doctor of Arts and Humane Letters degree during the ceremony.

Ford, 83, is best known for playing Han Solo in the Star Warsfranchise, Indiana Jones across five films, and Rick Deckard in Blade Runner, but his selection by ASU was not simply a tribute to pop culture royalty. The university cited his decades-long environmental advocacy alongside his film career. Ford currently serves as vice chair of Conservation International, one of the world's leading environmental nonprofits, and attended the September 2025 launch of ASU's Rob Walton School of Conservation Futures in New York.

His remarks on the announcement made clear where his priorities lie. 'I recognize this is an important opportunity to encourage your students to invest in their futures and in nature,' Ford told ASU News. 'We're at a critical stage in the world because we've neglected our obligation to nature.' ASU President Michael Crow praised him as one of the leading conservation voices on the planet, crediting his ability to reach audiences across cultures.

Related: 'He Is Not Like Us': Ryan Gosling Confirms Harrison Ford Is Simply Built Different

Ford recently gave what many considered the most emotionally unguarded speech of his career at the Actor Awards, reflecting on discovering theater as a young man who felt alone and directionless. 'I found a company of people putting on plays, storytellers,' he said. 'The people I thought were misfits and geeks turned out to be my people.' That story, aimed at a room of fellow actors, now becomes the foundation of what he will bring to tens of thousands of graduating students who may be asking the same questions he once was.

It is also worth noting that Ford did not finish college himself. He dropped out of Ripon College in Wisconsin just before graduation. The honorary doctorate from ASU closes a loop that has been open for more than 60 years.

A National Geographic feature published the same week noted that Ford has had multiple species named after him (a Peruvian snake, a Central American ant, a California spider), which is a testament to how seriously the scientific community regards his conservation work.

The ceremony takes place May 11 at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe. For the Class of 2026, the man who flew the Millennium Falcon will be the one telling them where to go next.

The ceremony took place at the Hall of Fame rotunda in Nashville, and McGraw's rarely seen but mutually beloved wife, country singer Faith Hill, was there to show her love and pride. McGraw accepted his induction, saying directly to Hill, "I would not be standing here today if it wasn't for you, nor would I want to be."

McGraw stepped up to deliver a teary-eyed speech at the podium, "This is gonna be hard," he started with a few tears. "Wow. Thank you all for being here. Anybody that knows me know I’m a crier. I mean, I cry at bad commercials."

"I came to Nashville on a Greyhound bus for Louisiana on May 9, 1989," he shared about the early morning he arrived on the country music scene almost 37 years ago. "I arrived around one in the morning. I took my one suitcase and my guitar and started walking to a hotel and a bar that somebody told me about the Hall of Fame Lounge."

"I got there just as they were serving last call," he continued, "and started talking to a couple of guys who both, of course, were songwriters. So when the bar closed, we headed to one of their apartments and we stayed up there all night playing songs, a lot of songs from guys on this wall right here."

McGraw also shared how coincidentally, country music hero Keith Whitley died this very same night but how the moment also seemed to seal his fate. "I gained some new friends and I found a community who loved country music as much as I did. I found my home, I found my wife, my family, my band, my team. So to go from a bar called the Hall of Fame to be here in the actual Country Music Hall of Fame surrounded by all of these legends and a lot of my friends is just almost impossible for me to ... it is impossible for me to believe."

As he wrapped up, McGraw took a moment to praise the important women in his life, including his grandmother, mom, sisters, his three daughters Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey, and most of all his wife Faith Hill. "Thank you, baby," he said right to Hill, who was sitting in the audience.

Then Hill and McGraw shared a big emotional embrace (such a good tight squeeze!). This sweet couple is actual goals ...

4 Storylines from 'Outlander' Season 8 Episode 3 That Are Taken from the Books

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 1:15pm

There’s no doubt that the Outlander books are packed with magical and twisty storylines. Some of them have made it to the TV show, but there isn’t enough time for everything. That led to the worry that some storylines wouldn’t quite make it.

At the same time, some storylines have been changed. That’s certainly the case on Outlander Season 8, but sometimes due to necessity and time. That doesn’t take away from the show’s writers including needed and exciting storylines from the books, especially from Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. Here are four that come from the books, even with some of the changes.

STARZ

William Believing That Ben Is Alive

At the end of Outlander Season 8 Episode 2, William learns that Ben probably didn’t die while as a prisoner of the Continental Army. The man in Ben’s grave definitely wasn’t Ben, but when he talks to Lord John Grey about it, John doesn’t believe it. He just thinks that Ben and this other fellow have been placed in the wrong graves.

It casts some doubt for William, and he decides not to tell Amaranthus about his reveal. In the novels, William does learn that Ben isn’t alive, and there is a much bigger storyline with Amaranthus — as she knows! With Outlander Season 8 nowhere near over yet, we can’t rule out the possibility of the full twisty storyline to come.

STARZ

Percy Coming to John With a Request

While at lunch, Percy Beauchamp sits down next to Lord John Grey, immediately showing just how much history they have. He also has a request: to help him get in touch with a man named Claudel Fraser. This man we know better as Fergus Fraser.

Yes, this is directly from Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone. There’s a big storyline that involves a particular Comte and a potential financial landfall. It’s unclear just how much the show will delve into this, but it’s exciting to see a storyline many didn’t expect to be included added in.

STARZ

Claire Heals a Baby Girl

During Outlander Season 8 Episode 3, Claire helps with the delivery of twins. It all starts when a young Black girl called Agnes comes to find her, leading her to her mother, Susannah. While the son is born healthy, the daughter is stillborn, and Claire uses her magical powers to bring the baby back to life.

While the circumstances of the woman coming to Claire are slightly different — they’re a family who live on Fraser’s Ridge in the books — Claire does end up healing the stillborn baby. After remembering Master Raymond and hearing about a doctor from Roger, Claire starts to focus more on her healing abilities, which leads to a major moment toward the end of Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.

STARZ

Jamie and Cunningham Find Themselves on Opposite Sides

Diana Gabaldon has said that the storyline of Jamie and Captain Cunningham isn’t from the books, but that’s not quite true. The conversation itself is purely engineered by the show, helping to explain something that is sure to come up later. The change is necessary for a show’s timeline and method of explanation.

In the books, there are men smuggling weapons onto the Ridge, and Cunningham does have something to do with it, but it all happens in the background until it reaches a boiling point. Clearly, things that go through Jamie’s mind have to be shown on the TV screen, which explains why Cunningham’s intentions have to come up immediately, rather than playing in the background.

Much of the final season of Outlander has included storylines from the books. It’ll be exciting to see more of what’s to come.

The Excruciating Wait for an Update About a 'Red Rising' TV Series Is Over — And It's Not Good

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 12:31pm

Red Rising fans have been hooked on the story of Darrow, a Martian miner who sets his sights on infiltrating the Gold class, since 2014. Since then there have been six books in the series, with a seventh in the works. However, that’s not the most exciting news that readers have heard.

Back in 2018, the book was optioned as a TV series, with Apple TV potentially interested in the story. With a promising budget starting at $120 million, there was no doubt that this series could capture the intricacies of the world that Pierce Brown had created. However, the author has finally confirmed the update that we all feared.

A ‘Red Rising’ TV Series Is No Longer in Development

Brown took time out of his writing to talk with Maude Garrett about his novels and the state of the TV series. The main focus was on dispelling the rumors that the seventh and final novel, Red God, would be released in the summer, and he went into all of the reasons why.

After that, he took time to discuss the TV series, which he says is, unfortunately, no longer in development. Despite years of development, Brown explained that the studio couldn't reach a point of comfort with the story, which led to the project being dropped. This is common in the world of Hollywood, as A Court of Thorns and Roses fans will know all too well.

He had been kept in limbo about the development for the longest time, just like the fans. While speaking with Garrett, he explained that he learned of the decision back in October 2025, and now he is in a position to explain to everyone else waiting for it.

There Is Something Coming Soon for ‘Red Rising’ Fans

While sharing the disappointing update, Brown did tease something that he can’t go into details about just yet. It sounds like something exciting, and almost like the TV series had to fold to make this new venture possible.

While sharing that there is a live-action possibility, it’s not a TV series. He also noted that it takes the right executive to get an adaptation off the ground. By saying that it’s a live-action project, it means that it’s not the update Firefly fans recently got, but does it mean a movie or a stage production? That’s the big question!

Hawaii Flooding Sparks Heroics From a Superstar and Antics From a Random Surfer

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 12:19pm

The dangerous flash flooding in Hawaii has revealed two very different ways of dealing with disaster. On one side, you have Hawaiians stepping up and helping out, and on the other, you have residents taking advantage of the swell.

Jason Momoa, an actor, film producer, and native Hawaiian, took to Instagram today to share how he’s lending a hand for the people of Oahu who have been displaced as torrential rain washes out the North Shore.

“I just want to take a moment to say Mahalo to my ʻohana, and to everyone at @zippys who stepped up this week with open hearts. What may feel like a small gesture can mean everything to someone in need,” he began in the caption of his video post.

View this post on Instagram

“We spent time on the west side, just trying to show love, bring some food, and remind our community that we see you, we stand with you, and you’re not alone. That’s what aloha is. It’s showing up for each other when it matters most,” he continued.

“Big mahalo to @kanaka_solutions , @kaimi_kaneholani , @adriaarjona and the entire ʻohana for bringing everyone together. It was a small act, but it came from a place of deep love for our people," he added. "If you’re out there and able to help in any way no matter how big or small please do. Check in on your neighbors. Give what you can. Spread aloha. Aloha, J."

Meanwhile, in Hawaii, a random surfer took a different approach to dealing with the natural disaster. In a video posted to ABC7ny’s Instagram page, footage shows a guy in red shorts and no shirt gliding along on the floodwater off the side of a majorly flooded road with nary a care in the world.

“A surfer took advantage of the torrential rain that hit Hawaii recently with footage from February 21 showing him gliding on floodwater," the news outlet captioned the post. "The lighthearted moment was recorded by Ruvim Pavliuk in Heeia on Oahu. Pavliuk and his friend can be seen cheering on the daredevil. … A flash flooding remained in place until the early hours of February 22."

Over the past week, two powerful storms have hit Hawaii, with torrential rains landing on grounds that were already saturated, creating life-threatening conditions.

Updates today are urging Waialua residents to evacuate as roads deteriorate. Per Hawaii News Now, the city issued an alert at 2:13 a.m. saying, “The remaining access road out of Waialua is at high risk of failure if rainfall continues.”

The evacuation alert applies to all of Waialua west of Kaukonahua Stream, toward Kaena, as the Wahiawa Dam has reached dangerous levels. Yahoo News reported that officials are keeping evacuations in place as more rain moves in.

Stay safe out there!

1975 Hit Ranked 'Most Iconic' Song of the '70s Has Over 3 Billion Streams

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 12:15pm

Though the decade included what many agree was the worst year in pop music, the 1970s produced music that has endured the test of time. It was a transformative decade. New genres like disco, punk, glam, prog rock, electronic/industrial and heavy metal took off, and these new sounds would shape generations to come. But, according to Forbes, when it comes to the ‘70s, one song reigns supreme: Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Picking the top song of this decade is a tough task. This was the time of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, Bob Dylan’s Blood on the Tracks, Joni Mitchell’s Blue, Miles Davis’s Bitches Brew, Alice Coltrane’s Journey in Satchidananda, Herbie Hancock’s Head Hunters, Elton John’s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Throbbing Gristle’s 20 Jazz Funk Greats.

The rest of Forbes' list includes a cross-section of the decade's variety, with Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” ABBA’s “Dancing Queen,” Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven,” and the Bee Gees’ “Staying Alive” filling out the top 5. That's some tough competition, but Forbes contributor Quentin Thane Singer makes the case for Queen’s landmark song from 1975’s A Night at the Opera.

Stating that Queen’s fourth album “single-handedly revolutionized rock music and opened the door for what elaborate concoctions were even possible in the genre,” Forbes dubs “Bohemian Rhapsody” as proof of “Queen’s brilliance” and a “masterful work of art.”

There is proof that “Bohemian Rhapsody” continues to resonate with music listeners. Look no further than the Forbes article that ranked it No. 1: when it was first published in July 2025, the song had “standing at nearly 2.5 billion streams.” In the roughly eight months since then, it has surpassed that number, amassing 3.096 billion streams on Spotify alone. The song is averaging 75 million plays per month (which is impressive, since Queen has about 51 million monthly listeners).

Freddie Mercurybegan working on “Bohemian Rhapsody” sometime in the late 60s while studying at Ealing Art College, according to uDiscover Music. Sometime in the early 70s, Queen’s guitarist, Brian May, remembers his friend "coming in with loads of bits of paper from his dad’s work, like Post-it notes, and pounding on the piano. “And this song he had was full of gaps where he explained that something operatic would happen here and so on.”

“Freddie was a very complex person; flippant and funny on the surface, but he concealed insecurities and problems in squaring up his life with his childhood,” said May. “He never explained the lyrics, but I think he put a lot of himself into that song.”

Producers worried that, at nearly six minutes long, “Bohemian Rhapsody” wouldn’t play on the radio. The song defied concerns: it topped the UK Singles charts and reached No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. In 2018, it became the most-streamed song of the 20th century.

Forbes Top 10 “Most Iconic” Songs of the 1970s

01. Queen, “Bohemian Rhapsody”
02. Bee Gees, “Staying Alive”
03. Led Zeppelin, “Stairway to Heaven”
04. ABBA, “Dancing Queen”
05. Fleetwood Mac, “Dreams”
06. Pink Floyd, “Time”
07. Eagles, “Hotel California”
08. Stevie Wonder, “Superstition”
09. John Lennon, “Imagine”
10. Earth, Wind & Fire, “September.”

Nancy Guthrie Update: Strange Weekend Pattern May Hold Key Details About the Suspect

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 11:53am

A striking weekend pattern in the Nancy Guthrie case is raising new questions about the suspect’s movements. Authorities have asked residents in Guthrie's neighborhood and on nearby areas about specific dates, including January 11 and January 24, requesting video footage and any other information pertaining to happenings in the area in the weeks leading up to Guthrie's disappearance.

Crime analysts and investigators are exploring whether this timing points to a suspect who travels for work during the week or is otherwise constrained, and whether it could offer a critical clue as authorities continue to piece together the case.

"This is big because now we have evidence directly linking January 11 to Nancy Guthrie's disappearance. We have January 24 linked to her disappearance. And we have the 31st bordering into the 1st," Brian Fitzgibbons, Director of Operations USPA Nationwide Security, said on the March 21 episode of Nancy Grace's Crime Stories podcast.

"All three of those on weekend nights. That is extremely probative," he continued. "He's always doing this on weekend nights. Why?...It adds a tremendous amount of color behind the profile that we're building of this suspect."

"Is this somebody who traveled a distance, who was maybe working somewhere Monday through Friday elsewhere during the week, traveling to the Tucson area on the weekend to conduct this reconnaissance?" Fitzgibbons wondered.

Another guest on the podcast episode, digital cybercrime expert and former Reno, Nevada, detective Todd Shipley, agreed that these weekend dates are significant.

"It is a big deal. Now, we're looking for sure at January 11, January 24, and January 31, Feb 1. This narrows down the identity of the suspect," Shipley said. "Now, people can think back. Where was X on these dates? Why was he out late that night?"

Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Anyone with information about her whereabouts or the person or persons behind her disappearance are asked to call the FBI (1-800-CALL-FBI).

Heidi Klum and Seal’s Son Henry Samuel, 20, Towers Over His Supermodel Mom on the Red Carpet

Sat, 03/21/2026 - 11:44am

Henry Samuel, the handsome son of Heidi Klum and Seal, is hitting the red carpet alongside his mom and towering over her!

Samuel, 20, who has already kicked off a successful modeling career, attended the premiere of Project Hail Mary in New York at Lincoln Center with his mom, the legendary German supermodel and Project Runway host. While Klum is 5'9" herself, her son still managed to rack up several inches on top of his dear mom.

What Will Henry Samuel Do Professionally?

Henry has walked a few runways just like his mother and signed with Next Management. However, his real focus is on building a music career. That's not a big surprise, considering his father is Seal!

“When I’m playing guitar, it’s usually rock or blues,” Henry told GQ last year. “But when I’m listening to music, it’s usually rap or Steely Dan. I listen to a lot of Steely Dan.”

Of course, it's a little scary walking the runway when your mom is one of the most famous models in the world.

“I’m very lucky to have a family that can support me in that sense, but also it’s a little bit [nerve-racking], ’cause I’m kind of putting on the show for them, too,” he said.

Take a look at the handsome young man as he walked the runway during the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 show as part of Paris Fashion Week at Hotel Le Marois last year in Paris, France.

Who Are Heidi Klum's Other Children?

The supermodel stunner is also mom to kids Leni, 21, Johan, 19, and Lou, 16. However, with some of them growing up and leaving the nest, the kids are heading in different directions. Johan has started his college career, while Leni is frequently spotted modeling alongside her mom. The duo was even joined by Henry on the cover of Paper last month. Now that's taking the family business to a whole new level!
