Hannah marked her fourth wedding anniversary with a sweet Instagram tribute to her husband Josh, joking, “Thanks for not becoming a DJ,” a line that quickly raised eyebrows among fans. The comment didn’t go unnoticed, with some fans interpreting it as a playful jab at Summer House couple Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula—particularly Kyle’s well-known DJ side hustle.

While Hannah later brushed it off as “very light shade,” the moment highlights how even the most heartfelt Bravo milestones can come with a wink of drama baked in. When a commenter wondered why Hannah called out Kyle and Amanda, Hannah replied, "It's called VERY light shade. It's bravo. A network built on it. They are still friends and aren't going through a nasty divorce. I'm sure they will be fine."

Summer House viewers are currently watching Kyle and Amanda's marriage strain play out in season 10, as Kyle leans further into his DJ career—something Amanda has repeatedly pushed back on. Her concerns aren’t just about the gigs themselves, but the late-night partying that often continues long after Kyle’s sets are over.

Tensions finally boiled over during the last episode when Kyle lashed out at Amanda, calling her a "f--king dumbass bitch" which left her in tears.

Shortly before the season premiered, the couple announced their separation after four years of marriage. Amanda recently said that she moved out in November, but they weren't going to see other people. "The plan was to date each other, work on our relationship, and take some space. But, the space made us realize, well, maybe we want more space; that the separation should be permanent," she told Marie Claire. Since their initial separation, the couple has done press together with the rest of the cast, still talk on the phone, and have been supportive of one another on Instagram.

Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing, going on eight weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and the Today co-anchor just broke her silence about reports that her sister, Annie Guthrie, and brother-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, were suspects.

On Thursday, March 26, the NBC morning show aired an interview with Savannah speaking to Hoda Kotb about the search for Nancy.

At one point in their conversation, Kotb asked how Savannah coped with the speculation that it was someone in her family who was responsible for her 84-year-old mother's kidnapping.

"It's unbearable. And it piles pain upon pain. There are no words," she replied. "I don't understand. I'll never understand."

Savannah continued, "And no one took better care of my mom than my sister and brother-in-law. And one protected my mom more than my brother [Camron Guthrie]."

Later in the interview, Savannah mentioned the toll Nancy's disappearance has had on Nancy's grandkids — especially Annie and Tommaso's son, Olmo.

"There's just a way this is even so much harder on Annie, and Tommy, and Olmo because they're there. And they were there every day for my mom. They made it possible for her to stay in the house that we grew up that she loved so much."

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Jan. 31. Her family reported her missing on Feb. 1, and the Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI has been searching for her ever since. As of writing, no suspect has been named in the case.

Music icon Diana Ross is celebrating a birthday milestone on March 26, marking more than six decades in the spotlight as one of the most influential voices in pop and soul music.

Just two years after the rock band Van Halen debuted their first studio album, they returned with a record that would solidify their status as rock icons and introduce one of the group's biggest hits, "And the Cradle Will Rock...," to the world.

On March 26, 1980, the band, which at the time consisted of members Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen, and Michael Anthony, released the album Women and Children First. It was their third studio album, and it included nine tracks. The record's only single was "And the Cradle Will Rock...," which was actually the first song from the group to feature Eddie playing keyboards.

While the album and its songs didn't top the charts, they still did very well. Women and Children First achieved a peak position of No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 chart, while it reached No. 3 in the Netherlands.

Even almost half a century later, the album is still an enduring hit with fans of rock music. Comments on a video of the song "And the Cradle Will Rock..." include, "Truly one of the best Van Halen songs of all time," and "It doesn't get any better than this."

Another praised the start of the song in particular, writing, "never get sick of that intro! I could listen to it on a loop. Ed was the king of song intros."

In an original review of the album from Rolling Stone, critic David Fricke declared, "Heavy metal... is back. It’s also bigger, louder and — hard as this may be to believe — better than ever, rising to punk-rock’s challenge by adding some new risks to the old riffs."

Fricke goes on to specifically praise Eddie's guitar talent, comparing him to the legendary Jimi Hendrix, while also complimenting vocalist Roth's abilities.

Susan Olsen is best known for her role as the youngest child, Cindy Brady, on The Brady Bunch. The actress played the tattle-taling tot from 1969 to 1974 in the classic ABCsitcom, then reprised the character in a series of specials, spinoffs, and made-for-TV movies.

In 1976, Brady Bunch cast members Olsen, Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, Ann B. Davis, Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Chrispher Knight, Eve Plumb, and Mike Lookinland were all approached to star in The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, a musical TV special that ultimately turned into an eight-episode series. Everyone but Plumb signed on to the project, so she was replaced by Geri Reischl, now forever known as “fake Jan” Brady.

At the time, Plumb was the star of the highly successful NBC TV movie Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway and was trying to break free of her Brady Bunch image.

Meanwhile, her long-time co-stars were appearing in corny variety show sketches with Rip Taylor and singing alongside synchronized swimmers called the Water Follies.

During an appearance on Billy Corgan’s The Magnificent Others podcast, Olsen, now 64, recalled Plumb turning down the variety show—and hinted she wished she could have too.

“Eve Plumb had done Dawn, Portrait of a Teenage Runaway, this TV movie that was huge and just broke her image, and she was off to the races. She's going to have a great career,” Olsen said in the 2025 interview. “And she was contractually signed to do the sequel, which was called Alexander the Other Side of Dawn. And so they replaced her, and it's kind of sad because Eve is enough of a team player that it bothered her.”

Olsen then revealed that she made a comment about the situation that annoyed her TV mom, Henderson. “The one time that Florence Anderson gave me a look that I'm still shocked that I didn't turn into a pillar of salt,” she shared. “If looks could kill.”

“They were all talking about Eve, and you know, what she's doing with this and that," Olsen continued. "And I said, ‘Don't we all wish we had something better to do than this show?’”

Susan Olsen remained close to Florence Henderson

Despite Henderson’s evil eye, Olsen was always close with her TV mom as well as with Henderson’s real-life children.

“That’s how you know how good a mom she was. Two families and a career, and her kids still turned out terrific,” Olsen told Variety following Henderson’s death in 2016.

As a child, she sometimes had sleepovers with Henderson’s daughter Lizzy.  “Lizzy and I had made a mess in the bathroom, I think, and I got to see her get mad at us. It was neat,” Olsen said of one of her off-camera moments with Henderson.

She also revealed that Henderson saved her from falling into the ocean when the Brady Bunch cast filmed in Hawaii in 1972, and she was bumped over the side of an outrigger.

“I’m not a strong swimmer at all,” Olsen said.  “I didn’t have any family on that outrigger to calm me down. Except for Florence.”

Olsen admitted she had hoped that The Brady Bunch would end when it did because she was getting into an awkward pre-teen phase. “To some extent, I felt guilt," she told Corgan in the interview. "Because I'd been praying for the show to be canceled."

Even though the show had been canceled, there was talk of continuing the younger cast members’ musical act after the six Brady kids’ had toured in 1973 and 1974.

A 1975 tour featuring Olsen, Plumb, and Lookinland was planned even after the three older Brady teens bailed.

“We were still going to continue the music, but Barry wanted to do his own solo thing. And Maureen wasn't into it,” Olsen told Corgan. “And Chris stopped. Chris quit before the show was canceled. We had a last appearance with Chris in Minnesota, and he hated it, he didn't feel like he could sing …it was embarrassing to him."

“So the Brady Three were going to go,” she shared. “Me, Mike, and Eve. … We got this whole act done and we had costumes, and I hated it. I thought it was horrible. I thought we were horrible, and I really didn't want to do it. And we got our booking agent, who was Andy Williams’ brother, Don Williams, and we never booked a single show. And I was just like, 'This is great.' He just couldn't book it, or he didn't book it, or I don't know what happened, but it was just. 'Please, don't let us have to go out and do this.'”

But Princess Cruises just opened bookings for its 2027–28 South America season, and it’s once again bringing back a feature that is surprisingly rare for a ship this size: overnighting in the Antarctic Peninsula.

It’s Not a "Drive-By"

In the competitive world of big-ship cruising, Antarctica is often more of a marketing footnote than a destination. If you look at lines like Carnival or Royal Caribbean (which typically only dip south during massive World Cruises), their time in the ice is often restricted to "scenic cruising" days. It means the ship lingers in protected bays and iconic spots like the Gerlache Strait or Elephant Island after the sun "sets" (though in the polar summer, it never really gets dark). This gives you hours of extra time to watch for humpbacks breaching in the midnight sun or leopard seals lounging on ice floes, all without the rush of a ship that’s just passing through on its way to the next port.

On this day in 1977, Hall and Oates earned their first No. 1 hit with their era-defining single, "Rich Girl."

A landmark pop-soul track for the iconic music duo Daryl Hall and John Oates, "Rich Girl" soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 on March 26, 1977, exactly 49 years ago to the day.

The massively successful, toe-tapping track was included on Hall and Oates' album Bigger Than Both of Us in September 1976, before it came out as a single in January 1977—the same month it debuted on the Hot 100.

"Rich Girl" became Hall and Oates' first song to reach No. 1, where it remained for two weeks in a row, solidifying the duo's breakout stardom. But it was just the start of the chart-topping success they would see throughout the next decade, with five more No. 1 hits to follow during the '80s.

Four years after the success of "Rich Girl," they earned their second No. 1 with "Kiss on My List," which reigned at the Hot 100 summit for three weeks. It was followed by "Private Eyes" that same year, and later by "Maneater" and "I Can't Go For That (No Can Do)" in 1982 and "Out of Touch" in 1984.

But as quickly as the streaming juggernaut adds a fresh title to its expansive library, it's just as quick to remove another one. In fact, some of the best shows on Netflix have been canceled well before their time, leaving fans frustrated by cliffhangers and mourning the loss of their favorite characters.

12 Canceled Netflix Shows Fans Still Can’t Get Over Starring Holt McCallany and Jonathan Groff, the Netflix crime thriller Mindhunter was reportedly too expensive of a production to continue.

Why was it canceled: Starring Jonathan Groffand Holt McCallany as FBI agents-turned-criminal profilers Holden Ford and Bill Tench, psychological thrillerMindhunter earned wide critical acclaim during its two-season run on Netflix, but was scrapped due to budget, as revealed by executive producer David Fincher. "It was an expensive show," the filmmaker told Variety in 2020. (Production costs for the 1970s-set period drama were estimated between $8 million and $10 million per episode.) "It had a very passionate audience, but we never got the [viewership] numbers that justified the cost," Fincher added.

What fans had to say: "Every day I curse Netflix for cancelling Mindhunter," X user @NicholasPas5 posted in August 2023. In February of that year, @ShaneNyman criticized the streamer's priorities, writing: "I wonder the budget comparison between a season of Mindhunter, the best show Netflix has made, and something like the lifeless algorithm-puke Red Notice movie they put out." And in 2024, @wulfffhans glibly joked on the site: "If you're having a good day just remember Mindhunter was canceled and [is] probably never coming back."

Liam Oh as Ray McAffey and Miles Heizer as Cameron Cope in the well-received military dramedy Boots, which Netflix canceled in December 2025.

Why was it canceled: Just two months after it hit Netflix, the streamer decided not to pick up Boots—a coming-of-age dramedy about a closeted teen (Miles Heizer) who enlists in the Marines alongside his best friend in pre-Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell America—for a second season in December 2025. The decision came despite considerable love from fans and wide praise from critics. (The series has a 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.) However, the show's subject matter prompted criticism from the U.S. government, with Pentagon Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson calling it "woke garbage" in a statement to Entertainment Weekly. Along with that political pressure, reports of high production costs also played a part in Boots' cancellation.

What fans had to say: When EW posted the cancellation news to their Instagram, Boots fans expressed their outrage over Netflix nixing the well-received series. "If I had a dollar every time Netflix canceled a good show, I would be able to buy a house," one user sarcastically commented, while another posted: "I wonder who in the government threatened @netflix to cancel it. Because this show was excellent." One succinctly summed fans' confusion: “Critically adored, cultural conversation driver, millions of viewers. This doesn’t add up."

Why was it canceled: Like many TV productions, Netflix's beloved 1980s wrestling comedy (with Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Rebekka Johnson, Britney Young and others portraying the fictionalized women of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling pro circuit) was adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In October 2020, the streamer announced that it was reversing the show's renewal for a fourth and final season, reportedly due to extensive production delays and the physical, close-contact nature of shooting GLOW's many wrestling scenes, made all the more difficult by COVID distancing protocols.

What fans had to say: Shortly after the announcement, Alison Brie posted a photo carousel tributing the GLOW cast on her Instagram, under which fans took to the comments to express their devastation. "Please bring back GLOW!!!! No better show out there!" one user posted, with another joining in with: "How is it possible to cancel this fantastic series...Netflix be brave!" Another wrote: "Incredible cast and story, Netflix needs their heads checked!"

Why was it canceled: Loosely adapted from Lucy Maud Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables, the heartwarming Canadian drama Anne with an E ran for three seasons on CBC in its home country and on Netflix internationally. However, it was a business break-up between the two networks that prompted the show's cancellation in November 2019. "We tried to change their minds. We tried to find a new home. We tried for a finale movie…We tried our best … But it's impossible to argue with words like Economics, Algorithms, Demographics, etc., etc. But those words and others like them are the reason why the Networks don't want to continue," series creator Moira Walley-Beckett shared on Instagram.

What fans had to say: Following the cancellation news, Anne with an E's devoted fanbase swiftly organized a campaign to save the show, both online and off. A Change.org petition calling for a Season 4 renewal earned 1.8 million verified signatures, with viewers writing: "WE NEED THIS SHOW BACK I FEEL SO EMPTY WITHOUT IT," "This series means so much to me" and "[Not] seeing the continuation story of Anne and Gilbert just makes me feel like there is a hole in my heart." Fans also crowdfunded billboards to be erected in cities like New York and Toronto to further promote the renewal campaign.

Why was it canceled: The Wachowskis' sultry sci-fi drama—which follows eight strangers from around the world who discover that they're inextricably linke—ran for two seasons before Netflix cut the show in June 2017. According to Netflix executive Ted Sarandos during the PGA's Produced By conference, the series was canceled due to its extremely high production costs; after all, shooting on location across eight different cities ain't cheap. “The audience was very passionate, but not large enough to support the economics of something that big, even on our platform,” Sarandos said, per The Hollywood Reporter.

What fans had to say: Speaking of a passionate audience, Sense8 fans were quite displeased with the news, many creating online petitions and flooding social media platforms with their #RenewSense8 campaign. The heartfelt response did get the streamer's attention, though it was sadly for naught: “To our Sense8 family…We’ve seen the petitions. We’ve read the messages. Why was it canceled: Centered on a missing woman (played by series co-creator Brit Marling) who inexplicably turns up at a hospital seven years later with strange scars and a newfound sense of sight, the mystery drama series The OA was initially conceived as a five-part story told across five seasons. However, those plans were stunted by Netflix's decision to cancel the show in August 2019 after Season 2, which frustratingly left things on a cliffhanger. “[Co-creator Zal Batmanglij] and I are deeply sad not to finish this story,” Marling posted to social media. “The first time I heard the news I had a good cry.” 

What fans had to say: At the time of the cancellation, fans responded with online campaigns and renewal petitions. One dedicated viewer even reportedly went on a hunger strike outside Netflix headquarters in Los Angeles to drum up press for the show's return. Why was it canceled: Though it's based on the popular books by Jonathan Stroud,Lockwood & Co.—the TV adaptation of the supernatural detective series—failed to live up to the longevity of its source material, despite positive critical reception (it was nominated for Best TV Drama Series at the National Film Awards) and fan reaction. Netflix canceled the Joe Cornish-created series after one season in May 2023 because its viewing numbers didn't meet the threshold to greenlight a season two, as reported by Variety.

Why was it canceled: With its mind-bending mystery centered on a group of European passengers leaving London on a migrant steamship set for New York City, the German sci-fi series 1899 garnered plenty of passionate fans in a short time. Though the show was included in several best-of lists (including Collider and MovieWeb), earned a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Series and ranked high on streaming charts following its November 2022 debut, Netflix canceled it after a single season in January 2023.

Why was it canceled: From Moulin Rouge to Elvis, Baz Luhrmann is known for his over-the-top screen spectacles and that was certainly the case with Netflix's The Get Down, the director's lavish 1970s drama detailing the birth of hip-hop in New York City. But all of that immersiveness—not to mention those music rights—comes at a pretty price and Netflix canceled the groovy series after its first season due to high production costs. According to a Deadline report, The Get Down was among Netflix’s most expensive shows, with 12 episodes costing about $120 million.

What fans had to say: Over on Reddit, viewers are still mourning the loss of The Get Down: "I knew Netflix would cancel the get down. But this show is great, and I love it. Now I'm so sad," one user posted. "Probably my favorite show. And now it's gone forever," one Redditor commented, while another added: "An absolute shame. There wasn't anything else like it on tv or streaming. I hope we see the young cast members in more things in the future."

Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore in Santa Clarita Diet

Why was it canceled: Over three seasons on Netflix, the horror-comedy Santa Clarita Diet earned faithful fans with the draw of its starry cast—led by Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant—and its darkly funny premise (the suburban lives of a pair of husband-and-wife real-estate agents are upended when the missus begins exhibiting gory symptoms of zombiedom). However, the streamer chose not to bite at a fourth season and dumped the show in April 2019, an especially shocking move given that the previous season had earned a perfect 100% critics' rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the highest of the comedy's whole run.

Lucky for you, I excel in this area, too. Today I’m going to share my number one tip to making your life easier in the airport while traveling with a carry-on.

There Are Certain Things You Should Keep In Your Personal Item

In a Youtube video by Aly Smalls, a creator who also flies carry-on only, she shares her top tips for getting through the airport seamlessly. While I agree with most of her tips, one stood out to me the most. She touched on the fact that many people get stressed about their carry-on when going through TSA. This is probably because they are packing items in there that need to be taken out once they place their items on the conveyor belt. That, my friends, is the biggest mistake you can make.

In airport security, you usually need to remove liquids and electronics when getting your items scanned. To make your life much easier, pack those items in your personal item. I always bring either a backpack or large shoulder bag as my personal item. Here, I’ll place my laptop, chargers, liquid makeup and liquid toiletries. Then, once I get to security, I can pop my carry-on straight onto the conveyor belt with no worries. I don’t need to unzip it, digging through my items and ruining my carefully packed bag.

Instead, I slide my laptop out of my shoulder bag, and then grab my bag of liquids as well. Having them easily accessible in this bag is key. Place them in areas that are easy to get to, and that won’t disrupt the other items in the bag. Then, you can take them out swiftly, and put them back with the same ease.

Wear A Fanny Pack While In The Airport

Another tip that I have that will make your airport experience much smoother is to wear a fanny pack. Inside, you should keep your phone, passport and wallet. Having them close to your body will allow you to feel a bit more at ease–knowing exactly where they are at all times. Plus, they’ll be easy to grab as well, so when you need to show your passport or boarding pass on your phone, you don’t need to open or dig through any of your bags.

Now, make sure your fanny pack is small enough to fit into your personal item once it ‘s time to board the plane. Many airlines will consider the fanny pack as its own personal item, so as long as it can fit inside your bag when boarding the plane, you’ll be good to go. If you do have an issue where the fanny pack doesn’t fit in your bag, you can simply throw on a jacket over your fanny pack. I’ve done this many times, and have never been asked to remove my jacket when boarding.

Leading the charge is Barrels O’ Fun, a family-friendly coaster that sends riders dipping and twisting in wooden barrel cars, followed by the Flying Scooters, a classic pier staple that allows guests to pilot their own flight using manual sails.

The skyline also sees the return of a fan favorite with the Wave Swinger, a breezy swing ride that resurrects the spirit of the original Flying Wave, which thrilled guests for over three decades until 2007.

Joining the lineup is the Hypno Twister, a high-intensity spinning ride with four interlocking arms, and the Super Roundup, a high-energy platform ride that tilts 80 degrees while pinning riders to the wall with centrifugal force. This classic attraction is reclaiming its original name after a complete mechanical makeover, marking a return to its 1974 roots.

Beyond the machinery, Shoreline Pier focuses heavily on a "Jersey-fied" culinary lineup that reads like a local diner’s dream. For a more aggressive local flavor, the park is introducing Gabagool On-a-Stick—capicola dipped in corn batter and finished with a hot honey drizzle—alongside dessert hybrids like the Triple Blueberry Roundup and the Holey Cannoli funnel cake.

To keep the energy high after the sun sets, a new limited-time event called Boardwalk Nights will deploy stilt walkers, live musicians, and high-energy stage performances to ensure the pier stays active well into the evening.

This 2026 rollout is part of a broader growth strategy that includes mechanical upgrades to the legendary El Toro coaster and a teaser for a major new roller coaster slated for 2027.

The season officially kicks off with an exclusive Season Passholder Preview Night on March 27, followed by the Safari Spring Break Celebration starting March 28. This event marks the return of the Safari Off Road Adventure access from inside the theme park, allowing guests to transition from the boardwalk to one of the largest safaris outside of Africa as part of their standard admission.
