The longtime television favorite Haywood Nelson is celebrating his 66th birthday.

Best known for his role on What's Happening!!, Nelson built a career that has now spanned more than five decades.

Born on March 25, 1960, in New York City, he began acting at a young age, taking on small television roles that helped him gain experience in the industry. These appearances developed the foundation for what would soon become his defining opportunity.

That moment came in 1976 when he was cast as Dwayne Nelson on What's Happening!!. His quick delivery and memorable catchphrase, "Hey, hey, hey," helped make him one of the show's most recognizable and beloved characters.

A legal fight between Paris Jackson and the executors of her late father Michael Jackson's estate has erupted into open warfare — and it's playing out in court filings, dueling statements, and headlines just 30 days before the Jackson biopic Michael hits theaters.

At the center of the dispute are co-executors John Branca, the entertainment lawyer who represented the King of Pop for decades, and John McClain, a veteran music executive. Named as co-executors in Michael Jackson’s will, the two have managed the estate since his death in 2009 and say they turned what was more than $500 million in debt into a multibillion-dollar enterprise, according to court filings. Paris, however, disagrees with how they've handled the money — and now the estate is pushing back hard.

Jonathan Steinsapir, the attorney representing Branca and McClain, accused the 27-year-old singer and her legal team of "abusing the courts and the legal system by making a series of false allegations as part of a media campaign to distract from their legal setbacks and the inherent weakness of their case," in a statement to Billboard on Tuesday, March 24.

The latest clash is part of a bigger probate battle that has been brewing for months. Back in June 2025, Paris challenged roughly $625,000 in so-called "premium payouts" to three law firms for unrecorded attorney time, according to People. The estate pushed back, telling the outlet that those lawyers were "instrumental and critical" to major wins — and revealed in an October court filing that Paris had already received approximately $65 million in benefits from the estate.

Not long after, retired Judge Mitchell Beckloff granted the estate's anti-SLAPP motion in part and struck portions of Paris's earlier petition. But she wasn't done. On Nov. 18, she filed a new objection — this time targeting how the estate handled its finances in 2021, records she said were not provided until September 2025. In the filing, she accused the executors of leaving more than $464 million in cash earning less than 0.1%, putting their own interests ahead of the beneficiaries, and alleged the estate had become "the vehicle for John Branca to enrich and aggrandize himself," according to Page Six.

The estate later sought more than $115,000 in fees after winning the anti-SLAPP motion, and Paris pushed back again in early March 2026, calling the effort a waste of resources. In a brief reported by Deadline, her side said Branca had "lost sight of his fiduciary obligations." 

Now the biopic is front and center. TMZ reported that Paris questioned whether casting Miles Teller as Branca was a "peculiar and presumably costly" choice and raised concerns about tens of millions in reshoots. The executors, in filings reported by Billboard, called her objections "meritless" and "a profound waste of the court's time and, ironically, the estate's money." The outlet also reported that the estate said Paris showed "a complete lack of understanding about how the motion picture industry works."

Meanwhile, a source close to Paris told Deadline, "It's a shame the executors are lobbing personal attacks against a beneficiary instead of providing basic transparency and accountability."

The estate's allies, however, say the numbers tell a different story. A source told Page Six the $625,000 at the center of Paris’s complaint amounts to “one-tenth of one percent” of the estate’s reported $600 million Sony catalog deal. “That’s a rounding error,” the source said. “This is about control. Paris' attorney sees the opportunity. This man wants to take control of Michael Jackson's estate.”

Then there is the presence of “The Sorry Man.” The show does not try to clearly define him, which makes him more unsettling. He feels like a symbol as much as a character, something that represents guilt, fear, or even regret. The series leaves space for interpretation, and that works in its favor.

There is also a clear tonal connection to Rosemary's Baby. Not in terms of story, but in how it builds tension. The fear comes from doubt and atmosphere rather than sudden shocks. The show also touches on death calmly and reflectively, which makes those moments feel more real and, in some ways, more disturbing.

A large part of the story takes place inside a cabin, and the way it is filmed makes a big difference. The space feels closed and sometimes confusing, almost like a maze. The camera often follows Rachel in a way that makes the environment feel unfamiliar, even though it doesn’t change physically. This creates a sense of being trapped without showing anything obvious. The visual style is simple but effective. The framing is slightly off at times, which adds to the feeling that things are not in balance. Lighting is soft and often dim, keeping parts of the scene hidden. It is not about showing everything clearly; it is about creating a mood.

Sound and music are used carefully. The background score is subtle, but it stays with you. It doesn’t try to dominate the scene. Instead, it blends in and supports the tone. Silence is used just as well. In some scenes, the absence of sound makes the moment feel heavier.

The performances are controlled and natural. Camila Morrone is the soul of this story and gives an extraordinary performance. Meanwhile, Jennifer Jason Leigh is equally brilliant. The supporting cast, Adam DiMarco, Ted Levine, Jeff Wilbusch, Karla Crome, and Gus Birney, are brilliant in their respective roles, especially Birney. Her portrayal is unsettling at times, and even though you hate how she behaves, her uncertainty makes her character a force to be reckoned with. Their presence adds to the strange atmosphere without taking attention away from the main story. Everyone seems to exist within the same uneasy world.

The cast does not exaggerate its emotions. Rachel’s character, in particular, feels grounded. Her reactions are quiet, but they show a growing sense of confusion and concern. Nicky’s character feels steady at first, though there are moments where that steadiness becomes uncertain.

As the series moves forward, it becomes clear that it is less about a single event and more about a feeling. The supernatural elements are present, but they are not the main focus. They work alongside the emotional themes, not above them.

All in all, Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen stays with you because of how it makes you feel rather than what it shows directly. It is quiet, slow, and sometimes difficult to fully understand, but that is also what makes it interesting. It is a genuinely compelling and well-crafted series that rewards patience with a deeply immersive experience. The performances are excellent, and the atmosphere is strikingly effective in building constant unease. By the end, it stands out as a bold and scintillating piece of storytelling that leaves a lasting impact.

U.S. Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn shared a deeply emotional message as she honored her late mother on what would have been her birthday, offering fans a rare and personal look into the memory that continues to guide her, especially during one of the toughest moments of her life.

The 41-year-old athlete posted a short video on social media showing a heartfelt exchange between her and her mother, Lindy Anne Lund. 

In the clip, Vonn asks, “Mom, how proud are you?” 

Her mother responds with powerful simplicity: “I am the proudest I’ve ever been my entire life.”

In her caption, Vonn expressed how much she wished her mother could still be with her. 

“Happy birthday Mom 🤍🙏🏻 Wish you could have been here this year… I don’t know if you would be more proud now than you were at the 2018 Olympics when I got bronze… But I would really love to know,” she wrote.

The message comes as Vonn continues recovering from serious injuries sustained during a recent Olympic crash.

Her words reflected both grief and gratitude. “I bet you would have lifted me up in the hospital and made everything better,” she added. “You always gave me the most amazing perspective and I’m trying to keep that going, especially now.”

Lindy Anne Lund passed away in August 2022 after battling ALS. Her influence on Vonn’s life goes far beyond this single memory. The skier has often spoken about her mother’s strength and resilience, especially after Lund suffered a stroke while giving birth to her, leaving her permanently disabled.

The emotional tribute arrives during a challenging time for Vonn. The Olympic medalist is still recovering from a major crash at the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she suffered a complex tibia fracture and a broken ankle. The accident required multiple surgeries and marked a painful setback in her return to competitive skiing.

Despite the physical and emotional toll, Vonn has remained determined. She recently shared a video of herself doing pull-ups while still using crutches, signaling progress in her recovery. 

“First set of pull ups post surgery… slowly getting there!” she wrote in a separate post.

A defining song of country music’s golden era hit a major milestone today.

In 1965, Buck Owens and his band the Buckaroos landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart with “I’ve Got a Tiger by the Tail,” a track that would go on to become one of the most recognizable songs of his career.

Released just weeks earlier in December 1964, the song moved quickly up the charts, eventually spending five weeks at No. 1. It also crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 25, which was an impressive feat for a country artist at the time.

The track perfectly captures the Bakersfield sound Owens helped pioneer—a stripped-down, high-energy alternative to the smoother Nashville style dominating country music in the early 1960s. Built around twangy electric guitar, a driving rhythm and tight vocal harmonies, the song had an immediacy that felt both raw and radio-ready.

The idea for the song came from an unlikely place. Owens later recalled for the book "The Buck Owens Collection: 1959-1990" that he was writing with songwriter Harlan Howard when inspiration struck after spotting an Esso gas station slogan: “Put a tiger in your tank.” That phrase sparked the central image of the song—a metaphor for being in over your head in a relationship—and the rest came together quickly.

“I’ve Got a Tiger by the Tail” became Owens’ sixth No. 1 hit and helped cement his status as one of country music’s biggest stars of the decade. It also remains one of the clearest examples of the Bakersfield sound, a style rooted in California that emphasized electric instrumentation, sharp rhythms and a more rock-influenced edge.

In an Instagram update, she shared behind-the-scenes moments during the shoot in Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The Olympian looked like a goddess in her striking bikini looks, effortlessly showing off her toned and powerful physique.

In a previous interview, the Team USA rugby sevens bronze medalist shared that she was labeled “masculine” due to her strong athletic build**, but as she grew older, she embraced her unique features and has been breaking stereotypes and championing self-empowerment.

“I was always like, you know, called masculine or whatever," the 29-year-old powerhouse center told SI in 2024. "But I never felt that way. But I don’t think you’re going to bully the girl who could probably beat you up in a rage. I love that [rugby] showed me what I can do. It showed me how capable my body is and it’s not just like a tool to be looked at and objectified.”

Find theme words to fill the board.

• Theme words stay highlighted in blue when found.
• Drag or tap letters to create words. If tapping, double-tap the last letter to submit.

Find the “spangram.”

• The spangram describes the puzzle's theme and touches two opposite sides of the board. It may be two words.
• The spangram highlights in yellow when found.
• An example spangram with corresponding theme words: PEAR, FRUIT, BANANA, APPLE, etc.

Need a hint?

• Find non-theme words to get hints.
• For every three non-theme words you find, you earn a hint.
