Nancy Guthrie Update: Savannah Reveals Heartbreaking Way Her Kids Are Coping With Kidnapping
Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing, going on eight weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and the Today co-anchor just revealed the heartbreaking way her kids are coping with their grandmother's kidnapping.
During an interview that aired on Today on March 26, Savannah sat down with her friend and colleague, Hoda Kotb, to discuss her 84-year-old mother’s case for the first time since Nancy went missing on Feb. 1.
At one point in the interview, Kotb asked how Savannah's two children, Vale, 11 and Charley, 9— whom she shares with her husband, Michael Feldman—are doing as Nancy's case nears eight weeks.
"It's so hard with kids because you want to protect them," Savannah said. "Vale would write me all the time, 'Mama, any leads? Did you hear anything? Any hope?'"
The NBC morning show journalist continued, ""I think that we try to talk and try to give them a little more certainty than we have to let them grieve."
Additionally, Savannah acknowledged that her sister, Annie Guthrie, brother-in-law, Tomasso Cioni, and their son, Olmo—who also live in Tucson and saw Nancy on a regular basis—are also feeling the absence of the Guthrie family matriarch in their lives.
"They were there every day for my mom," she told Kotb. "They made it possible for her to stay in the house we grew up in, that she loves so much. I think she always stayed in that house because I think she still felt my father there, all our memories."
She added, "This is just even more excruciating for them, and all that they've been through."
Nancy was last seen at her home on the evening of Jan. 31, with the Pima County Sheriff's Department launching its search on Feb. 1. As of writing, no suspect has been named as the PCSD and the FBI continue their investigation.

Bruce Willis's Mother Receives Special Recognition From the LAPD: 'This is My Family'
Bruce Willis's mother, Marlene Willis, has a special weekend hobby that's earned her recognition from the LAPD. The 90-year-old has been volunteering her weekday afternoons for the past 22 years doing a special task for the police force.
According to NBC Los Angeles, not many realize that Marlene is the famed Hollywood A-lister's mother. Known as "Mrs. Willis" among those at the West Los Angeles station, she has spent her Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays afternoons checking grammar and adding notes to police reports. The LAPD chief calls her a hidden asset to the force.
"I think she means the very best of people that are individuals who believe in the work that our men and women do," former LAPD Chief Michel Moore told NBC Los Angeles.
Some officers at the station claim they wouldn't know what to do without her, even going as far as giving them a hug after returning from difficult incidents. Mrs. Willis says, "I want to help so much, so much. You have no idea. You cannot imagine how much I want to help."
Cpt. Rich Gabaldo calls Mrs. Willis a true "icon" and an "integral" part of the police force. For her dedicated volunteer work, she has been recognized as the LAPD volunteer of the year, with then-Chief Moore giving her an even higher honor.
"While I can't make her a cop, I can at least give her the greatest symbol of what it means to be a cop. And that is a badge of the law center police department," Moore said.

Moore went on to say in his message to Mrs. Willis that there are certain people in their lives that "leave a lasting impression," and she had "risen to the top of one of the best impressions." Despite being the mother of one of Hollywood's biggest stars, no one would be the wiser.
They reveal that Mrs. Willis doesn't mention her son while at the station or makes it largely known. The only giveaway is her screensaver featuring a photo of her actor son giving her a hug. It was an aspect of her character that "impressed" Moore when meeting her.
"This is my family," Mrs. Willis said about the LAPD. "I mean that 100%."

Batter Up! All About Derek Jeter's Girlfriends, From Mariah Carey and Minka Kelly to Wife Hannah Davis
Derek Jeter is one of the most successful baseball players to have ever played in the MLB. But during his time with the New York Yankees, he was also known for being one of the most eligible—and sought-after—bachelors around. As such, Derek Jeter’s girlfriend lineup is filled with beautiful and interesting women.
The former Yankee is currently happily married with children—but it was quite a journey to get there. From high-profile relationships to high-profile breakups, Jeter went through them all in the public eye. However, as he has been off the market for some time now, you may not remember some of the exes Jeter left in his wake.
Here is everything you want to know about Derek Jeter’s girlfriends and dating history.

How many girlfriends did Derek Jeter have?We cannot know for sure the exact number of women that Jeter has dated in his life—that information is probably known by the former shortstop alone. But considering he was drafted by the Yankees straight out of high school, we probably do know a good number of the women Jeter has been linked to in his lifetime. However, whether they were all relationship-official is not known.
Who are Derek Jeter's ex-girlfriends?During his time in the singles market, Jeter dated a variety of famous women. The women he dated tended to be actresses, models and other women in the public eye. They also tended to be young and traditionally beautiful by societal standards.
What celebrities did Derek Jeter date?Hoo boy, now this is a long list—here's a list of women who have been linked to Derek Jeter:
- Lara Dutta
- Adriana Lima
- Jessica Biel
- Jessica Alba
- Vida Guerra
- Tyra Banks
- Gabrielle Union
- Bridget Hall
- Jordana Brewster
- Scarlett Johansson
- Rachel Uchitel
- Vanessa Lachey (neé Minnillo)

Did Derek Jeter date JLo?It would appear that Derek Jeter and Jennifer Lopez have never been romantically linked, at least not publicly anyway. However, Lopez did have a long-term relationship with Jeter’s former teammate and longtime rival Alex Rodriguez, lasting from 2017 to 2021—the pair even got engaged in 2019 before calling it quits two years later.
Did Derek Jeter date Madonna?Derek Jeter does not appear to have dated Madonna (to our knowledge). However, like Lopez, the Material Girl also has been linked to Jeter’s former teammate Alex Rodriguez, but in a much more scandalous way, as they were both married to other people when rumors about their relationship first surfaced.
Did Derek Jeter date Jessica Biel? Now, this is one relationship that appears to have some credence to it. Derek Jeter and Jessica Biel are said to have dated from November 2006 to January 2007. The pair was spotted out together several times after Biel and former boyfriend Chris Evans broke up in 2006. However, the relationship does not appear to have lasted long and Biel moved on to now-husband Justin Timberlake.
Did Derek Jeter and Jessica Alba date?It appears Jeter was trying to be the envy of many people’s dreams by dating both of the sought-after Jessicas of the time. Derek Jeter is rumored to have had a romantic fling with Jessica Alba in July of 2004. However, it is important to note that there is no hard evidence of this relationship, as the two have never confirmed it and were never publicly seen together.
Did Derek Jeter date Mariah Carey? This here is a bona fide confirmed relationship! Derek Jeter and Mariah Carey did date for about a year, from around 1997 to 1998—while Carey was still married to controlling former husband and music executive Tommy Mottola. Carey told Oprah in 2020 that dating Jeter was actually the “catalyst” for her decision to end her unhappy marriage.
Mariah Carey watches the game between the New York Yankees and the Oakland Athletics during her romance with Derek Jeter, April 1998 Did Derek Jeter date Vanessa Lachey?Derek Jeter and Vanessa Lachey, back when she was Vanessa Minnillo, did indeed date—and for kind of a long time by Hollywood standards! Jeter and Lachey were in an on-and-off relationship from 2003 until 2006. After their final breakup, Lachey began dating her future husband, Nick Lachey, that same year … Hmmm, we’re seeing a pattern here.
Vanessa Minnillo and Derek Jeter attend a gala in New York City in May 2006. Did Derek Jeter date Scarlett Johansson?Apparently 2004 was a big year in the romantic life of Derek Jeter! Back in 2004, Jeter and Scarlett Johansson were rumored to be an item, having been spotted out together several times. However, neither has ever confirmed the connection.

Charlie Davis Reveals the Real Reason He Targeted Rizo on 'Survivor 50' (Exclusive)
Survivor 50 is here! Every week, Parade's Mike Bloom will bring you interviews with the castaway most recently voted off the island.
Charlie Davis was hoping to treat Survivor 50 like a blank space. After finishing as runner-up in one of the most controversial finishes of the new era, he knew people would be saying, "I knew you were trouble when you walked in." But when it came to that perception, Charlie was luckily able to shake it off. Things changed, however, when he met someone whose game he didn't know all too well: Rizo Velovic. When he heard Rizo didn't vote for his number one ally, he thought back to that cruel summer, and vowed to not let that happen again. Unfortunately, his voracious desire to boot the Season 49 standout had some of his former tribemates telling him, "You need to calm down." In the closest vote of the season, Charlie was taken out over his rival, who could only tell the gamer on his way out, "Look what you made me do."

Going into Survivor 50, Charlie was labeled by his fellow castaways as one of the most dangerous players, based on A. What he accomplished in 46, and B. The fuel he would assumingly have from wanting to win this time. As the first week of the game unfolded, he found himself in a startlingly similar position: On a green tribe that basked in immunity, caught between two different sides amassing. Luckily, Kalo never had to show their cards before the tribe swap. So when three of his tribemates changed beaches with him, he felt he had a grip on the rest of the premerge. And he knows firsthand how important grip strength is to Survivorsuccess.
Rizo, on the other hand, was incredibly vulnerable, the only person from his tribe swapped into a group that did not know him from a hole in the shelter. Banking on his wealth of Survivor knowledge, he figured Charlie was seeking redemption, and confided in him about the "Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol" twist to get on the same page. Little did he know, however, that Charlie burned that book the night before. When talking about his season, Rizo revealed he didn't vote for his number one ally, Sophi Balerdi, to win. A wide-eyed Charlie had immediate flashbacks to how things fell apart for him due to Maria Shrime Gonzalez (not helped by Rizo asking about their rocky relationship earlier that day). It was in that moment that he adopted a new plan: RizGod must go.
A surprise double Tribal Council sent the new Cila to vote for the first time, and Charlie couldn't be happier. The Kalos, plus a new associate in Rick Devens would vote out Rizo as the biggest unknown left in the season, allowing him to carry out his wishes. The women, however, had other plans. Dee Valladares went to Rizo, pitching an alliance of them, Cirie Fields and Kamilla Karthigesu. Rizo and Cirie were eager to hop onboard, both feeling on the outs. And Dee and Kamilla were more than happy to turn on Charlie, feeling he was playing both too conservatively and too sloppily. And so "Operation: Bad Blood" went off without a hitch, as Charlie was done in by Rizo and his own "squad," ending his second season with his face in his hands.
Now out of the game, Charlie talks with Parade about the actual reason he went after Rizo, why Dee and Kamilla were already wary of him going into the swap, and whether he was surprised by his emotional trauma from the Season 46 jury vote.

Who were you most surprised joined Rizo in blindsiding you in last night's episode?
Definitely Dee and Kamilla, for sure. I mean, I was a little bit surprised by Cirie, too. But I didn't expect any measure of loyalty. I put in some time to that relationship, and I really like Cirie. I think she liked me, not enough to keep me, but... [Laughs.] So I was surprised by that too. But definitely Dee and Kamilla, probably in that order.
I thought we were tight. We were working together on original Kalo, and I was definitely not coming after either of them by any means. I never said any of their names. If anything, especially in Dee's case, I thought I was playing some defense for her out there on original Kalo. So that was a bummer. But I don't know, sometimes people's perceptions develop over little micro-interactions. And even if you didn't intend anything to be taken a certain way, they do.
Speaking of perceptions, what's your reaction to seeing Kamilla and Dee talk about how you were playing too slowly and with your cards too close to your chest? Did that surprise you at all?
So I think basically to understand that tribe dynamic, you basically have to come in with the hindsight knowledge that, going into that swap tribe, Dee and Kamilla were wary of me. That was not like a brand new development that occurred because of a specific order of how I told people about a "Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol." From my perspective, I told the people on my tribe basically immediately and without any sort of motive about the idol. It was only an issue because Dee and Kamilla were already wary of me. So from my position, I didn't really trust Rizo. I wasn't being loyal to Rizo at all with the idol. Full disclosure, he told me, and I was like, "Okay, I'm gonna tell my whole tribe." So from my perspective, I was like, "Oh, I'm just being loyal to my alliance." So I don't know exactly if I agree with that. I think they were just already wary of me, and I just didn't know why.
Why do you think that is now? Is it from your preseason perception? Or did something happen on Kalo 1.0?
I mean, Kalo 1.0 was weird. There was a lot of, I would say, "soft jockeying" for control. There wa kind of a strategic uneasiness around the beach. There wasn't really a majority until a couple days in. I would say, basically the dynamics that shook out were it was a very obvious trio of Dee, Kamilla and Tiffany. They were very much out front; they didn't care. And then there was the contingent of Coach, Jonathan and Chrissy. And then I would say me and Mike were a little bit in the middle. Not deliberately; we weren't like, "We're gonna play the middle."
It's a position you know all too well!
That's where we found ourselves. But I thought I was probably tighter with — in terms of the alliance, maybe not like individually — with Tiffany, Dee and Kamilla. And I viewed that as like that was going to be the majority that ultimately, probably was going to vote out Chrissy. And then the other side was mainly targeting Dee. And I thought, if anything, I was playing defense for Dee a little bit on that beach. So that's kind of why I didn't really have them flipping on my radar. Because I wasn't coming after them. T
There was one conversation which I had with Dee. Tons of people on the beach had been like, "You're playing too hard." And I tried tip her off, to tell her to adjust, just be like, "Hey, just so you know, people are saying this." And I remember it was almost like disbelief, or very dismissive of it. From my perspective, it was a bit of an awkward conversation, and we just never really synced up. Dee's someone outside the game who is a good friend. I think that caused a blind spot where I didn't put enough time into the in-game relationship. I think she was wary of me and just thought I was being shady or something.
We need to get into your dynamic with Rizo. Was him not voting for his number one ally to win truly the reason you targeted him? Or were there other things involved?
Oh, there are definitely other reasons. So I won't rehash what people have seen. I thought that made the most strategic sense for a couple reasons. One being, basically, the whole theme of narratives and storytelling of why people should be voted out has been talked about a lot. The narrative for Rizo is that he's an unknown quantity. People don't know who he is, people aren't sure how he plays. But that goes away the more he's in the game, because then he becomes a known quantity. And then why is he a threat? No one's gonna really bring it up at all. So I thought it would be good to target him, because, if he sort of gets enough traction, he's just gonna be able to go far in the game. That was my perspective on the beach.
And then two being, in my head, he has the fewest connections. So there's gonna be less collateral damage if Rizo gets taken out, versus anyone else here who has prior friendships or a lot of pregame relationships or other alliances, whatever it may be. So I thought that would be the cleanest thing to do, especially probably with either another swap or a merge coming up, I thought that would be super clean.
So that was my that was my like, more heady rationale for targeting Rizo was not just that little moment, and even that was more complex. Oviously I did say all those things in confessional, but there were good interactions that I had with Rizo. And I talked about in confessional how, "I really like Rizo. We've had some good connections. But there's this other thing that's gnawing at me." And I thought I had more room to act on those feelings versus pure strategy. I thought I had the numbers; I felt comfortable. Famous last words.
Talk to me about those feelings. Were you surprised your feelings about the end of 46 camp up this way?
A little bit. I remember it was the context of the conversation. I promise, on a day to day basis, I'm fine. Sure, do I think sometimes, "Man, it'd be really nice if I won. If I had a million dollars, that'd be awesome"? Yeah, sometimes I think about that. But it's not a super devastating emotional burden that I carry to this day.
But I think when you go back out into that environment, you kind of almost resume where you left off when you were last on Survivor. So it was probably a little bit fresher, a little bit more raw out there. And then, in my head, I was like, "Oh, this is an honest feeling. It makes narrative sense for me to do it." Not that I was trying to play from a meta perspective. But I was like, "I think this would be good for me to do for a growth point of view."
What was your reaction when you found out that Rizo seemingly did vote for his number one ally in Savannah?
I thought it was just comical. It was definitely funny watching that finale. And even after I was voted out, at Ponderosa, I talked to Savannah about it. I mentioned it to her, and she was like, "Oh, I was definitely his number one!"
We see you wake Rizo up early in the morning, telling him that Jonathan was behaving in a way that seemed like he knew about the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol. What was your intention there, and did you know how that annoyed Rizo?
So what I was worried about was Rizo using that as a wedge to build distrust. So I was worried about him going to Dee or Kamilla, and being like, "Hey, did Charlie tell you about this?" And then I was worried about him potentially bringing in other details and making it seem like I didn't say everything. So I was trying to get a sense of what he was doing with that info.
And that's, again, from my perspective, I went to my whole tribe, and I thought I was being forthcoming with them on all of that. But I was trying to figure out if he was trying to play an extra angle there. I don't think he was. When he told me about the idol, I think that was just genuine. He's not trying to make an inroad. But I thought, "Oh, that would be a good way to build distrust among us." If he went to Dee or Jonathan or Kamilla or whoever, and was like, "Did Charlie tell you about this?" So I was just trying to figure out his game.
So there was no truth to what you said about Jonathan?
No, no. I just said that.
You told me before the season you wanted to lock into another partnership. Were you able to find that person out on the island?
Yeah, I had a good alliance with Mike on Kalo. I think we were in a good spot. I think were in, honestly, good control of that Kalo tribe. So, I mean, the answer is yes. But that was only six days. And then Mike, of course, got voted out just before I did. And I mean, there were tons of people who I was tight with out there. I mean, once Mike was gone, I was kind of trying to reorient myself to really play tight with Dee; that obviously didn't work. But it was going great on Kalo. I felt really in a great spot there. And I mean, to be fair, I thought it was fine on Cila too. [Laughs.]
Talk to me about those relationships. If you had ended up surviving and making the merge, who were you looking to join up with?
I mean, I knew that Kalo was not gonna [stick together]. Not that they came to an open argument. But Chrissy very much knew that the women were targeting her. The women very much knew that Chrissy was targeting them. That was never going to be fine. But I think I would have been in a good spot. Because I was good with Chrissy and Co. and the old-schoolers, I think I would have been totally fine ingratiating myself with them. It's kind of hard for me to say exactly who else I would have worked with because Dee and Kamilla flipped on me. But I think there are plenty of other players that I could have built good bonds with.
We saw quite a different, and more emotional, side of you this season. How do you reconcile your return appearance? And would you want to come back for a third time, given what happened to you on 50?
You may remember from preseason stuff, I did want to come in and be less of a clinical strategist. So, I mean, I succeeded in that mission. [Laughs] Was it a good idea in terms of my placement? Probably not. So I don't know. I mean, listen, I'd come back, definitely when the circumstances are right. I love playing the game; Survivor knows that. I mean, who knows what that would be. Maybe a Rivals season to really hash things out? I think that would probably be what would be most enticing to me. And I think people can guess who might be out there for that.
You have a growing list at this point! [Laughs.]
That's right, that's what I'm saying. So it's perfect. But no, I've done a lot of thinking about what is good for me to hold onto, who I am at my core after 50. And I think, if I played again, I'd sort of resolve that little bit of my Survivor personality.
The Top 10 Films Critics Loved and Moviegoers Trashed: From Scarlett Johansson to Terrence Malick
Critics and audiences have been at each other's throats since the first silent film flickered onto a sheet. But sometimes there’s a huge gap in the cinematic experience, producing an exceptionally polarizing movie. Case in point: It seems every professional reviewer is obsessed with Emilia Pérez. Meanwhile, the group chat thinks it’s a total snooze.
New data has crunched the numbers on the most divisive films to ever hit the Tomatometer. Emilia Pérezis the undisputed champion of the Love it or Hate it category. Critics gave this Spanish-language musical drama a solid 70%. Critics called it bold. They used words like experimental. Meanwhile, the actual people paying for tickets handed it a miserable 17%.
That 53-point gap is the largest ever recorded. It turns out that when you mix a musical with a gritty identity drama and throw in subtitles, critics see high art. Audiences seemed to see a reason to check their phones. Second place goes to the 2017 film It Comes at Night. Critics were tripping over themselves to give it an 88% rating, praising its "mysterious plot." Audiences gave it a 44%.
The problem here was what viewers felt was a classic bait-and-switch. The trailers promised a terrifying monster movie. What showed up on screen was an arthouse slow-burn where nothing actually happens until viewers are already annoyed..
The list of movies that drive a wedge between the pros and the public is a who’s who of cinema. Scarlett Johansson holds the fourth spot with Under the Skin, a movie critics (83%) found captivating while audiences (55%) found it "boring." In the film, Johansson plays an alien wandering Scotland in silence.
Terrence Malick takes two spots in the top ten. His 2011 film The Tree of Life features a 26-point gap because it cuts from a family dinner to the literal Big Bang and dinosaurs. Critics called it a masterpiece. The audience was confused.
The CEO of JB.com explains why this keeps happening: “Regular audiences want entertainment that makes sense on first viewing without needing a film degree to decode. When a movie prioritizes artistic experimentation over accessibility, critics may celebrate it, but it usually also leaves audiences frustrated. This year it’s the same: One Battle After Another just earned 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actor for its lead performance, and while many regular moviegoers liked it, the unconventional storytelling and ambiguous ending still left plenty of viewers scratching their heads.”
The truth is that critics get bored. They see hundreds of movies a year, so they reward anything that breaks the rules. But for the rest of us? Sometimes viewers just want a story that has a satisfying ending.
This Tiny Montana Town of 917 People Is the Main Filming Location for 'The Madison'—and It’s Already Seeing a Spike in Tourism and Retirement Planning
The worlds in Taylor Sheridan’s universe are hardly idyllic. They’re filled with deception, secrets, and the occasional murder. But one thing remains consistently true—whether we’re talking about Yellowstone, Landman, or Special Ops: Lioness—the setting is just as important as the characters. Where Sheridan places his stories helps define and shape them in a uniquely powerful way. His latest triumph, The Madison, is no exception.
The peaceful lakes and breathtaking mountain scenery of Ennis, Montana have completely captivated viewers. So much so that the tiny town—home to just 917 residents—is now experiencing a notable real estate and tourism boom. According to Realtor.com, the median home listing price has climbed to $742,000, a staggering 49.9% increase from pre-pandemic levels in February 2020. The outlet reports that the area is seeing an influx of buyers from places like New York, many of whom are preparing for retirement.
@ennismontanaSummer blowing in like the cottonwood “snow” 🌬️🌳❄️ happy sunday from Ennis, Montana! #visitmontana #ennismt #ennis #visitmontana #montanamoment #madisonriver #southwestmontana #visitbigsky #yellowstone #yellowstonenationalpark #visityellowstone
♬ Revival - Zach BryanIt’s an appealing move. Montana is widely considered one of the more retirement-friendly states, thanks to no sales tax, relatively low property taxes, and wide-open space.
And Ennis isn’t alone. Nearby regions like Wyoming and Jackson Hole, Wyoming have also seen property prices rise—up 28% over the past five years thanks to Yellowstone.
“That show put the idea of the West in front of a huge audience,” Jackson Hole–based real estate broker Latham Jenkins told the Daily Mail. “People see the wide-open land, the family legacy, and the independence it represents. A lot of buyers who might never have considered it before now think, ‘Why not us?’ It’s less about cows and more about the lifestyle and legacy.”
What’s So Appealing About Ennis? As the primary filming location for The Madison, Ennis offers more than just good looks. Despite its small size, the town has a lively downtown filled with unique boutiques, artisan shops, and fishing-focused stores. Visually, it feels like stepping straight into a Western—complete with simple storefronts and rugged landscapes.
There’s also no shortage of hearty, down-home restaurants, so visitors won’t feel completely cut off from civilization.
But if you’re looking to truly unplug, Ennis delivers. The area is especially known for its world-class fly fishing. The cold, trout-filled waters of the Madison River make it possible for even beginners to have a rewarding experience. Surrounding the river are sweeping mountain ranges that are stunning year-round.

Fair warning: winters here are no joke. While the snowy season is ideal for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, it’s important to remember that for a good portion of the year, those lush green fields are blanketed in white. As a self-proclaimed city girl who hesitates at even a couple inches of snow, that would give me pause when it comes to living there—but a cozy springtime cabin stay? Absolutely.
If you’re hoping to visit and live out your cowboy-era dreams (even briefly), there are only a couple of traditional lodging options in town, including Red Bear Inn and McAllister Inn & Lodging, located just outside of Ennis. There are also plenty of cabin rentals available, with both hotels and rentals averaging around $130 per night.
Just remember: this is a truly unplugged kind of getaway—and Kurt Russell won’t be riding up on horseback. But the scenery more than makes up for it.
Eva Longoria Just Turned 51, and Has This to Say About Motherhood
The Desperate Housewives star is far from Wisteria Lane. Actress Eva Longoria just celebrated a birthday (on March 15) and recently sat down with AARP for a candid interview on work, fame, life, and, of course, motherhood.
Even though Longoria just turned the big 5-1, the actress/producer/director/entrepreneur still looks just as youthful as she did when fans only knew her as Gaby Solis. Maybe that’s from chasing after her energetic seven-year-old son, Santiago (with husband Jose Bastón).
View this post on InstagramLongoria married her Bastón in 2016, and told AARP that he is “The kindest human being in the world. Pepe brightens every room he enters.” While it may seem like the pair has a fairytale romance, they’re just like the rest of us. The actress admits they occasionally bicker and went on to add, “We’re passionate about our differences…but we always make up.”
So, what does Longoria have to say about motherhood? The former beauty queen (she was Miss Corpus Christi USA in 1998) waited until her early 40s to become a mom. In her recent interview with AARP, Longoria explained, “Once Santi was born, everything changed, and it actually made life easier…because then you have the automatic answer. Everything goes through the lens of: Does this take away from my time with my son? Then no, I cannot do that.”
A year after giving birth, Longoria talked openly about how being a mom first changed her during an interview with Today. While promoting the live-action Dora the Explorer movie, the celeb (who played the role of Dora’s mother in the big-screen version of the kids’ cartoon fave) got real about being a working mom. “My son was eight weeks old when they called, and we’re going to Australia filming the movie. And I was like, I can’t do it. And my husband was the one who was like, of course, you have to do this.”
The actress continued, talking about her then-one-year-old son Santi, “I’m really like, really blessed, to have such an easy kid…Everyone always asks me, ‘What was surprising?’ There’s nothing surprising. There’s so much information out there, and every mom telling you what to do…What was surprising, though, was the anxiety I now have about the world.”
Also a philanthropist, through the Eva Longoria Foundation, the mom added, being a parent has changed her outlook: “I have to leave the world a better place…that has given me a lot more fuel for my fire in philanthropy.
It looks like six years later, she’s still going strong! And while she’s grown as a person, an actress, and a mother, Longoria isn’t much different from other parents. When asked by AARP about her “secret for life,” she replied, “I don’t think there’s a uniform formula for satisfaction.” And we agree!

This Woman's Unexpected Travel Companion Will Have Me Double Checking My Luggage Before Heading Home
There’s a certain kind of exhaustion that comes with the end of a trip where you’re half-running on adrenaline, half-running on airport coffee, and fully convinced you’ve packed everything you need. You toss sandy sneakers into a duffel, squeeze in that last pair of flip-flops, and promise yourself you’ll deal with the mess when you get home.
But what if something else made its way into your bag when you weren’t looking? Not a forgotten souvenir. Not a misplaced charger. Something alive.
That’s exactly what happened to one woman after returning from a trip to Réunion Island, a remote and wildly beautiful destination in the Indian Ocean. What started as a routine journey home quickly turned into the kind of story that makes you rethink every casually packed bag and every last-minute zip of your suitcase. Because by the time she realized she hadn’t traveled alone, it was already too late.

A Tropical Getaway Turns Into a Chilling SurpriseThe trip began in Réunion Island, a lush, volcanic island in the Indian Ocean located between Mauritius and Madagascar. Known for its rugged hiking trails, dense forests, and biodiversity, the island feels like a world away from mainland Europe. After days spent exploring in the tropical heat, the family packed up and flew back to Paris, trading warm, humid air for the stark chill of winter. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, until the next day.
Back at home, the woman’s father opened a duffel bag filled with hiking shoes and flip-flops, gear that had last been used on Réunion’s trails. That’s when her brother noticed something strange. A small animal she described as a “weird-looking mouse” with a distinctly “beak-like face”—suddenly jumped out of the bag. Panic set in as the rodent darted across the apartment and disappeared.

Trying to make sense of what they had just seen, the woman retraced her steps. She realized she had opened that same duffel bag at the airport in Réunion just a day earlier, stuffing in last-minute items before their flight. Somewhere in that moment, the tiny stowaway must have slipped inside.
She reached out to her sister-in-law, who is from Réunion, for help identifying the animal. When her sister-in-law sent photos of local rodents, the resemblance was undeniable and it was likely a species native to the island. While Réunion is home to a range of wildlife, including introduced rodents like the black rat and house mouse, these animals are highly adaptable and often live near human environments. In other words, it’s entirely plausible that one could sneak into a travel bag, especially one filled with shoes and left open.

♬ original sound - Maudeline Is This Actually Illegal? While her TikTok framed the moment with humor and disbelief, the situation touches on a real issue: accidental wildlife transport.
Many countries, including France, have strict regulations about transporting animals across borders, especially to prevent the spread of invasive species or disease. Even unintentional transport can pose ecological risks.
Beyond health concerns, global regulations also aim to prevent the spread of invasive species, which can damage native ecosystems, infrastructure, and agriculture, sometimes even when animals are transported unintentionally.
The Internet ReactsAs the video gained traction, viewers were equal parts horrified and fascinated.
One user had me laughing by saying "He travelled here to pursue his career as a chef" referring to the movie Ratatouille.
A concerned citizen points out "The most common shrew on La Réunion Island is the Asian house shrew and they can carry an abundance of diseases and ticks on their bodies. Maybe you should call someone!"
Others shared similar stories with one commentor stating "my dad ran an airline hanger & occasionally brought me home a random animal hitchhiker to keep as a pet. Def illegal. but kid me was THRILLED!"
But nearly everyone agreed on one thing: this is the kind of travel story that sticks with you.

Beatles Icon Paul McCartney Announces First Album in 5 Years
Sir Paul McCartney is doing it again.
The 83-year-old rocker announced his upcoming album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, marking his first studio album release in more than five years.
Set to release on May 29, the 14-track record is reportedly an introspective autobiographical album.
View this post on InstagramThe lead single, "Days We Left Behind," is "very much a memory song for me," McCartney said.
"The album title, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, comes from a lyric in this track," the former Beatles star explained. "I was thinking just that, about the days I left behind and I do often wonder if I’m just writing about the past but then I think how can you write about anything else? It’s just a lot of memories of Liverpool. It involves a bit in the middle about John and Forthlin Road, which is the street I used to live in. Dungeon Lane is near there. I used to live in a place called Speke, which is quite working class. We didn’t have much at all, but it didn’t matter, because all the people were great and you didn’t notice you didn’t have much."

Nancy Guthrie Update: Savannah Reveals New Details of Mom's Condition When She Was Abducted
Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing, going on eight weeks after the abduction from her Tucson, Ariz., home—and the Today co-anchor just revealed new details about the 84-year-old's condition when she was kidnapped.
During a March 26 interview on Today, Savannah sat down with her friend and colleague, Hoda Kotb, to discuss her mother's case for the first time since Nancy went missing.
"We thought that we must have had, like, some kind of medical episode in the night. And somehow, the paramedics had come because the back doors were propped open, you know?" Savannah explained, of what she and her siblings — Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie — initially thought happened to their mother. "We thought maybe they came ,and there was a stretcher, and they took her out the back. But her phone was there, and her purse was there, and all her things. And it just didn't make any sense."
Additionally, the NBC morning show journalist said they quickly ruled out the idea that Nancy might have "wandered off."
"She can't wander off. My mom, she was in tremendous pain. Her back was very bad, you know?" she told Kotb. "On a good day, she could walk down to the mailbox and get the mail. But most days, not. So there was no wander off. And the doors were propped open, and there was blood on the front doorstep, and the Ring camera had been yanked off."
They quickly knew "something was very wrong here," Savannah noted.

Later during her sit-down with Kotb, Savannah shared yet another previously unknown detail about Nancy's condition on the night she was abducted: She was in her pajamas and wore no shoes.
"It is surreal," she said of making a message with her siblings to her mother's kidnappers. "How is it possible that we are having to make a video speaking to a kidnapper who took an 84-year-old woman in the dead of night, in her pajamas with no shoes, without her medicine. This little person. To beg for mercy."
Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills residence on the evening of Jan. 31. The Pima County Sheriff's Department and the FBI have continued their search since Feb. 1 — however, no suspects have been named.

Chappell Roan’s Security Scandal Update: The Guard Who Confronted Jude Law’s 11-Year-Old Speaks Out
Pascal Duvier is officially done with the internet rumors. If that name doesn’t sound familiar, it should. He’s the veteran security pro who has shielded everyone from the Kardashians to the biggest names in pop. Now, he’s stepping into the line of fire to clear Chappell Roan’s name after a chaotic breakfast in Brazil turned into a global PR headache.
The story started with a viral accusation. Jude Law and Catherine Harding’s 11-year-old daughter, Ada, was reportedly "shaken" after an encounter at a São Paulo hotel. The claim? That Roan had sicced her security on a child just for smiling. But Pascal is calling foul.
"I do not normally address online rumors," Duvier wrote in a March 25 Instagram post. "But the accusations currently circulating are false and constitute defamation."
View this post on InstagramHere is the twist that the comment sections missed. Duvier wasn't working for Roan that day. He was at the hotel on behalf of an entirely different client. "I was at the hotel on behalf of another individual, and I was not part of the personal security team of Chappell Roan," Duvier clarified. "The actions I took were not on behalf of Chappell Roan, her personal security team, her management, or any other individuals."
Acording to the guard, Chappell was just a bystander eating eggs while a security guard she didn’t hire made what he refers to as a "judgment call." Duvier admits he stepped in because of "information we obtained from the hotel" and a "heightened overall security risk" in the area. He thought he was doing his job. He didn't realize he was sparking a celebrity feud.
Harding’s husband, Jorginho, didn’t see it as a misunderstanding. He went to Instagram to describe a "very upsetting" scene where a "large security guard" confronted his wife and daughter while they were still eating. According to him, Ada just walked past, confirmed it was the singer, and smiled.
“She didn’t say anything, didn’t ask for anything," Jorginho wrote. "What happened next was completely disproportionate."mHe claims Duvier was "extremely aggressive," accusing an 11-year-old of "disrespecting" or "harassing" the singer. Pascal, however, remembers it differently. "My sole interaction with the mother was calm and with good intentions," he said, adding that "the outcome of the encounter is regretful."
While the internet was sharpening its pitchforks, Roan was apparently completely oblivious. She was in town for Lollapalooza and just trying to get through her morning coffee. “I didn’t even see a woman and a child. No one came up to me,” the 28-year-old said in an Instagram Story. “No one bothered me. Like, I was just sitting at breakfast in my hotel."
She was firm about the fact that she doesn't know the man who approached them. “I did not ask the security guard to go up and talk to this mother and child,” she added. “They did not come up to me. They weren’t doing anything.”
Zendaya Teases Break From Acting After Five 2026 Releases: 'I’m Disappearing for a Little Bit'
Zendaya is booked and busy! The actor revealed in a recent interview that she may plan to take a small hiatus from the big and small screen, as she stars in five major projects releasing this year.
The actor is currently promoting her first leading movie role of the year with The Drama, alongside Robert Pattinson. In an interview with Fandango, her four movie roles and one leading TV role were brought up, as the actor will be gracing fans' screens throughout the year.
Besides The Drama, Zendaya is also scheduled to star in the final season of Euphoria, the third installment of Dune, and the new installment of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. She will also reunite with Pattinson in the highly anticipated film The Odyssey, where she stars alongside her fiancé, Tom Holland. To say Zendaya has been busy is an understatement, with the actor revealing she hopes fans don't get sick of her.
"I just hope people don’t get sick of me. I really appreciate anyone who supports any of the movies or supports my career in any kind of way, I’m deeply appreciative," she said. "I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what, after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit."
2026 is the year of Zendaya.
She teases her massive upcoming releases, from #Euphoria to #SpiderManBrandNewDay, in @Fandango’s Big Ticket interview for #TheDrama.
Watch or listen to the full episode here: https://t.co/WZ2eV6Ehmh. pic.twitter.com/piycuDjSbU
Whether she's serious, fans will have to wait and see. She's expected to go on intense promotional tours for all three of her remaining major movie roles, and for Euphoria. The Drama releases in theaters on April 3, with the first episode of the final season of Euphoria scheduled to premiere on April 12.
July will also be a busy month with The Odyssey hitting theaters on July 17, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day releasing weeks later on July 31. Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part 3, starring Timothée Chalamet, is also scheduled to release at the end of the year on Dec. 18.
Zendaya's plans for a hiatus might coincide with Holland's own statement of stepping away from acting, one deciding to start a family. The two have been at the center of online rumors on whether or not they have officially gotten married.

Angelina Keeley Warned Christian 'America's Gonna Hate You' After Blindsiding Mike White on 'Survivor 50' (Exclusive)
Survivor 50 is here! Every week, Parade's Mike Bloom will bring you interviews with the castaway most recently voted off the island.
Angelina Keeley was a completely different person entering Survivor 50 than she was exiting David vs. Goliath. In the years since her star-making, jacket-begging, rice-negotiating turn, she had become a mother of two kids and two businesses. And so she was eager to enter her second season as a "self-aware queen," ready to showcase a depth that players and fans had not seen previously, in the hopes of climbing to new heights only a 50-foot ladder could ascertain.
🔥Don’t miss our weekly Survivor newsletter! Sign up to get Mike Bloom’s exclusive interviews with the players and the latest news about the show right to your inbox.🔥
During the first five days, Angelina was the most purple player on the purple tribe, as we usually saw her relegated to walking down the island runway in a fashion show or crafting a one-liner about Amazon during a challenge. That's unfortunately because her position on the tribe was very much out of the action. With a majority alliance of five that eventually turned to six, she found herself in the hot seat (a temperature that would not cool down the rest of her time). Luckily, while she stayed on Vatu at the swap, her position very much changed. The David vs. Goliath representatives experienced their own "mini-merge," as Angelina reunited with Christian Hubicki and her close friend, Mike White.
Angelina unfortunately found herself in a familiar position soon after: On a post-swap "disaster tribe." Fortunately, she once again had Mike by her side, who was happy to dust off "Operation: Save Angelina" for the second season. After getting her revenge on her old tribe in booting Q Burdette, it seemed like the David vs. Goliath trio would hold strong to maintain control. But there was one surprisingly weak point of that triangle, as Christian was leery of how good Mike was as a player. And so he chose to write the Emmy winner off the show, flipping on familiar faces in lieu of new ones.
While Angelina was left stunned, she was still ready to run with whoever would take her. Surprisingly, as Vatu faced yet another vote, she believed she was actually the swing, in the middle between two duos. Angelina said during one of the few Tribal Councils she attended, "I always let my instincts be the last word." Unfortunately, her instincts had those words be her last, as both pairs came together to get her out. But, truly showcasing her changed behavior, she interrupted Jeff Probst's proceedings to reach into her bag. But it wasn't for an idol, but a simple token of literal warmth, a representation of her full-circle journey in Survivor: A jacket.
Now out of the game, Angelina talks with Parade about when she decided to give away her jacket, why she feels Christian getting rid of Mike was "selfish" (and how he allegedly pregamed against her), and an unseen negotiation she made with Jeff.
Related: Read our Survivor 50 pre-game interview with Angelina Keeley
Let's start with the close — or should I say "clothes." Were you always going to give away your jacket if you were voted out? Or was that a decision you made in the moment?
I have to be so honest with you. This whole jacket bit, I had fun with it, right? I had fun with just leaning into all of the jokes. It's hilarious. But I have to say something for the record, to be clear, because I know Q was saying some stuff a couple weeks ago. Nothing I did was for show. Nothing I did was for screen time or for the camera. And I mean, clearly, I wasn't doing anything for screen time because I didn't get any screen time! Which is fine, I don't care.
So the jacket thing, giving it to them, I had two scenarios in my head. Because here's the thing: You have to prepare for every situation. You have to mentally prepare for, "Okay, if I make it to fire, if I make it to the Final Three, if I get voted out, what am I going to do, right? How would I feel?" And that's just part of anticipating the game. So with me, once I finally locked in my jacket after negotiating with wardrobe for like 40 different jackets — it was down to the wire, okay? It was crazy.
But I loved that jacket, and I knew I was going to go out one of two ways. I was going to either go out classy or I was going to go out guns a-blazing. I'm glad I chose option one. I'm glad I went out the right way. I'm proud of how I went out. But in my mind, in my creative mind, I was like, "Okay, I could either give them the jacket, or I throw the jacket in the fire. Wait, that might be a hazard. That might be a no-no." I was never going to do that, to be clear. But in my brain, I was like, "Huh, maybe." So to answer your question, I I did have an idea in my head of what I would want to do if my fateful day came. And that's what we did.
You could have made your own Ozzy-esque angry bonfire! You had said that you felt caught between two different pairs going into this vote. And it seems like you sided with Christian and Emily in voting for Stephenie. What made you decide that?
[Shakes head.] That was weird. They're positioning it as like, "I'm the swing." I was like, "I don't think I'm the swing. I think they're all gonna come for me." I knew they were all gonna come for me. I mean, honestly, in retrospect, I should have played my Shot in the Dark. The reason I didn't is because Emily was so convincing.
Emily is completely not getting the kudos that she deserves. She is the mastermind on that beach. She is an elite player on that beach. She had me convinced that she was with me. It was her. It wasn't even Christian. Christian was doing something, I don't know. But Emily was an incredible player. And so she had me convinced that she was with me. She was crying with me in the forest. They didn't show it; she was like, "I want to play with you." And I really thought she was serious. I mean, she's good. Anyone in the CIA needs to call Emily, because that girl is good.
To be fair, given how she handles secrets, that may not be the job for her. [Laughs.]
[Laughs.] She's a liability. But maybe she was doing that strategically too, right? It's like she was trying to hedge with Ozzy. That girl, I think she knows what she's up to. So anyways, knew that there was a very slim chance that Emily and Christian would go for Stephenie with me.
But the reason I didn't play my Shot in the Dark is because I felt like, in my starting tribe, I had no one really. My swap tribe, I had Mike. Then we know what happened. And then I was like, "Do I have a higher chance with Emily being real with me, or a higher chance of my Shot in the Dark playing hitting?" And I had a slightly higher probability of Emily working with me, which obviously was not true. But I took that bet instead of the Shot in the Dark, because I was like, "Oh, if I play my Shot in the Dark, then I show her I don't trust her. And if we do merge, then who do I have? Just anyone new. I'm open for business!" Which I think could have done some work there, but we'll never know.
You bring up Mike, and I'd be remiss not to talk about him. We saw Ozzy's adverse reaction to his blindside, but we didn't get to see what you thought, which was surprising given how close you are to Mike inside and outside the game. So how did you process everything in the hours after Tribal Council, especially considering it was at the hands of Christian?
I was absolutely devastated. I shut down for a bit. I think you kind of see me in the background, literally just sitting there, just watching. And I am not one to shut down. I compartmentalize. I just was like, "I need a minute." Even Christian was trying to talk to me that night, and he was actually trying to talk to me too much. And I said, "You know what? I need a minute." He wasn't listening. He was still trying to talk to me. And I told him, "I think America's gonna hate you. They're gonna really hate that you took Mike out. This is so wrong. What were you thinking?"
And he tried to justify it. I heard him out the next day. He tried to justify it as, "The three of us couldn't exist in the game," that it was too much of a target, that he and I both had close relationships with Mike, but he and I were less linked. And so he tried to talk himself out of it, and I was like, "Oh, maybe." But, again, it was Emily who really pulled me in. But I was so sad. I mean, not just that night, but the next day. I mean, I was crying.
The backstory that we didn't see is that when we hit that beach the first day, when I was with Mike, we had a heart-to-heart. And I had a realization that he mattered more to me than the game, and I meant it. I said, "I will never betray you in this game." I mean, he made my oldest daughter laugh for the first time when she was two months old. That's the kind of stuff that we're bringing into the game. Real memories, real relationships, real people, and that's something that you just can't estimate at home. That's something that you can't feel.
And so did Christian betray me? No, no. Christian owed me no favors. If anything, I get it. I came for him a lot. Karma for sure. But Mike, that was a betrayal that was not okay. And he cut him so early. I just feel like it was a misstep. I feel like me and Mike would have helped him down the line. And we'll see how it all turns out. But I think he shot his shot too early. I think he took him out like an enemy, not like a friend.
I know Mike has talked a lot in his exit press about how he and Christian haven't spoken since his boot. And you've said on social media this past week that you and Christian weren't really friends going into the season, and Mike was more the go-between with you two. Where do things stand with you and Christian now?
I mean, look, I saw him at the premiere. I saw him and Emily, his wife. And I congratulated them on their baby and asked them how that was going. And that was it, just short and sweet and cordial. I wish him no ill. But I do stand by the fact that what he did to Mike was selfish.
Let's go back to that short but maybe not-so-sweet time on Vatu 1.0. You seemed surprised when Emily told you that you would have gone if you had gone to Tribal Council in the first five days. What was your sense of the dynamics on that first tribe?
Before the game even started, Colby and Stephenie were just out to get me right. They didn't want to play with me. I don't know who, but someone started a rumor that I was targeting old school, which was not true. I have a hunch that Christian started that. Actually, more than a hunch; someone told me that Christian started that again before the game even started. He was plotting these things.
I mean, to be honest — I haven't told anyone this. Christian was talking to himself in his room before the game started. I could hear him through the walls. I don't know if he could hear me. He was talking to himself, like I was actually kind of concerned for him. I was like, "What? Who's he talking to?" And then I realized he was just talking out loud. And the lore is that he had a list of people that he wanted out, and he was going to follow that list.
I think just so much of what he did was super premeditated. And to each their own. I think it matters a lot to him, and that is totally fair. It's a big game, it's a great game. But I think he lost himself a little bit out there. I think he lost the plot a little bit out there, and with time, maybe he'll see that. I think he's too far in it right now. But it's hard to because I just showed up so differently. And he and I both changed in different ways, and but it is interesting, because I got to play with him the first time. It felt like I was playing with a different person.
So what did things look like if Colby and Stephenie were so firmly against you from the start?
So the vibes, like Aubry was saying, were weird. We never quite gelled as a tribe. There were Colby and Stephenie in the middle, and they were pulling people into their orbit. They got Genevieve; they got people. I really, really loved Kyle, and I also really liked Aubry, and I feel closest to both of them. When Kyle left, I told Aubry, "You're my number one." She didn't say it back. [Laughs.] We're sitting at the camp the next day, and I'm like, "Aubry, I gotta talk to you. I told you you were my number one. You didn't say it back." And it's a very funny moment. She was kind of squirmish, and she was like, "I'm scared of commitment." And in the back of my mind, I'm like, "This is not good. This is not how it's supposed to go."
Look, I was surprised because they were trying to convince Aubry and me that it would be Genevieve or Rizz. Genevieve and Rizo were kind of putting on this facade by isolating themselves a lot, but it was all part of that five or six's plan. And I'm told that if we had gone to Tribal, it wouldn't have been me, but that's easy to say now. So you know what? It's neither here nor there. I will say, though, I have started a Vatu text, okay? And I am sending daily messages to Vatu of my dog and my daughter sleeping. And I just write, "Lazy!" And I just send lazy photos to Vatu every day so they have something to look forward to.
[Laughs.] I love that. I do wanna talk about something that I got to see out on set from the premiere, but others didn't. You actually tried to negotiate with Jeff after the first Immunity Challenge to trade in your newly won fishing gear for a tarp. Like the jacket, was that something you had thought about doing before the opportunity was presented to you?
Oh no, that was very in the moment. I'm so glad they didn't put it. That was not my best moment. When they didn't include it, I said, "Thank you. Let's keep on, keeping on." But, I mean, it was a fun little banter with me and Jeff. But that was more like my tribe was like, "Oh, what if we asked for X, Y and Z? The fishing is not good here. "And I was like, "Oh, I'll say something, whatever. Why not? We're back on 50." But no, I'm so glad they didn't show that. They can just delete that from their tapes.
I don't think you realized how close the merge was after that double Tribal Council. If you had survived the vote, was there anyone you were looking to work with in particular?
Oh my gosh. There were so many people I was excited to meet and to vibe with. And I was like, "I feel like those could be my people." Tiffany, Dee, Chrissy, Coach, Kamlla. I mean, come on! There were people that I was like, "Please, let us get together so that I can find my people." I never found my people out there. I mean me and Charlie are literally besties now. I call him my "boot bro." We get along so well. And I'm like, "Man, if we got into play together, who knows?" But it's so easy to do "coulda, woulda, shoulda" on Survivor. I don't lose sleep over it. But it's fun to think about.
This Popular Home Improvement Chain Is Expanding—Here's What to Know
Despite a stagnant U.S. housing market, demand for budget-friendly home repairs is rising among cash-strapped homeowners and professional contractors alike. Amid this challenging economy, one retailer has reported an unexpected boost in business, prompting an expansion of its footprint in 2026.
After surpassing analysts' expectations for quarterly earnings in February, the Home Depot announced plans to open 12 new stores across eight states, with all locations expected to be completed by the end of the year. As the nation faces a growing need for new housing and the upkeep of aging homes, this expansion is projected to create thousands of jobs and boost local economies.
Home Depot Expands With 12 New U.S. Stores Across 8 StatesThe Home Depot is expanding across eight states with 12 new stores set to open by the end of 2026. Construction on all locations is scheduled to begin this year, with new stores planned in Texas, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Utah, Arizona and California.
While many retailers are closing brick-and-mortar locations, the Home Depot is growing its physical footprint to better serve the "modern builder" and the "inspired homeowner." By bringing inventory and expert support closer to some of the nation's fastest-growing regions, the company is making it easier for customers to complete projects from start to finish.
"We're excited about all of the progress we've made in our stores. And our efforts are paying off," said senior executive vice president Ann-Marie Campbell. "In 2025, our customer satisfaction scores increased every quarter, and our tenure with hourly associates is the highest it's been since 2017."
What Customers Can Expect From Home Depot's New StoresThe new stores, like the 146,000-square-foot location planned in Leander, Texas, will feature full tool-rental centers, larger garden centers, updated merchandising displays and flexible checkout areas. Each store will be designed to serve both homeowners and professional contractors better, while also bringing hundreds of new jobs to local communities. Other "enhancements" include specialty showrooms, expanded Buy Online Pick Up In Store storage, and pro-grade equipment for tool rentals.
"I cannot wait to open these doors," said Daniel Corbell, store manager #1348. "There is a special kind of energy when you're building a team from the ground up. Leander is growing fast, and we're here to make sure every home builder and homeowner have the tools they need to succeed."

Every City Getting a New Home Depot in 2026The following 12 locations are scheduled to open by the end of 2026:
- Leander, Texas
- Dallas, Texas
- Celina, Texas
- Penitas, Texas
- Naples, Fla.
- Inverness, Fla.
- Buckeye, Ariz.
- Mission Valley, Calif.
- Hot Springs, Ark.
- Cookeville, Tenn.
- Clinton, Utah
- Broken Arrow, Okla.
Beyond putting these services where they're needed most, the new stores will also help connect online and in-store shopping, as more than half of Home Depot's online orders are already fulfilled through its physical locations. And while many brick-and-mortar retailers are struggling, this expansion signals that homeowners are increasingly taking on DIY projects and that small contractors now have even greater access to the supplies they need to complete every job.

Pillsbury Fans Say Its New Cookies Look ‘Insanely Good’
Pillsbury is bringing together two of its most popular treats to create one that fans say sounds nothing less than "yummy."
The 150-year-old bakery brand is home to dozens of product lines and over 15,000 recipes, ranging from savory breakfast dishes to sweet treats that can be enjoyed any time of day, per its website. Of all its creations, two sublines have, arguably, left the strongest impression on fans, and now they're getting their own crossover.
This week, eagle-eyed shoppers spotted new Pillsbury Mini Soft Strawberry Toaster Strudel Cookies in stores—an apparent combination of Pillsbury's famous cookies and its beloved Toaster Strudel breakfast pastries.
New Pillsbury Mini Soft Baked Strawberry Toaster Strudel Cookies Spotted in StoresPillsbury Mini Soft Baked Strawberry Toaster Strudel Cookies "capture the iconic taste of Pillsbury's beloved Toaster Strudel and bake it into a delicious, bite-sized cookie," according to an official retailer's description.

The new treat joins Pillsbury's growing line of ready-to-enjoy snack products and its already expansive miniature soft-baked cookie flavors, which are currently available in Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Double Chocolate, Funfetti and Lucky Charms flavors.
This recipe features bite-sized, soft-baked sugar cookies with strawberry-flavored chips and a sweet icing drizzle. And the best part just might be that these are ready to enjoy as is, no toaster or oven necessary.
View this post on InstagramPillsbury actually recommends adding them to ice cream to give your dessert "a sweet and tasty addition." The company also notes that since each serving is individually wrapped, they're a great option for packed lunches, handing out at school, or stuffing into goodie bags.
"They look INSANELY good!" one shopper wrote in an Instagram post shared earlier this week.
"Whoa I need to try these😍," a second shared.
"Ok yum!" someone else declared before a fourth agreed, "😮😮😮 Yummy! 😋."
One more joked, "Thank you, Gretchen Wieners' dad 👏," referencing a famous quote from Lacey Chabert's character in the hit movie Mean Girls.
Where Are Pillsbury Mini Soft Strawberry Toaster Strudel Cookies Available? So far, Pillsbury's Mini Soft Strawberry Toaster Strudel Cookies have been spotted at select Sam's Club locations in packages of 28 individually wrapped 1.5-ounce servings for about $12 (prices may vary). It's currently unclear whether the product is exclusive to the mega retailer, but it appears it may be (at least for now; it's always possible that Pillsbury expands the items to other retailers later this year).
That said, Pillsbury has several other new options launching at multiple retailers nationwide, like its new Blueberry Crumble Big Cookies and Strawberry and Cream Cinnamon Rolls (both of which are only here for the spring season). And we know neither of those is the same as this sweet, soft-baked-cookie-toaster-strudel mashup, so if you're so set on having to get your hands on a box but don't live near a Sam's Club, you can always turn to the resellers (like this one on TikTok Shop), just be prepared to pay at least double the original price.
A spokesperson was not immediately available; we will update this post with any relevant information shared about the product.
