'The Waltons' Star Reveals Why He Had to Change Careers After the Show Ended
The Waltons star Eric Scott played Ben Walton throughout the beloved show's nine-season run.
In a March 2026 interview withThat's Classic, Scott shared he shifted his career after The Waltons ended in 1981. He explained that he worked in retail "at the Broadway department store for a year" once production of The Waltons wrapped up. He explained that he "wanted to see what" being a salesperson was like because his only working experience was being on television.
"I went to all different departments. I gave it one year and I said, 'You know what? I don't like retail.' I quit it," said Scott during the March 2026 interview.
Scott also said he thought he would be able to star in another series after The Waltons ended.
"There was still that thought that maybe another show would come on, but nothing happened. So, I said, you know, I got to pivot. I got to make a living," explained Scott during the That's Classic interview.
He then decided to drive "for a messenger company" because it gave him the freedom to still try to be an actor.
"I thought there was a flexibility here," said the 67-year-old during the interview.
Scott also told That's Classic that he now "own[s] the company."
"It was a strange transition," said the Waltons star.
Eric Scott Said His Mother Kept Him Grounded on SetIn the That's Classic interview, Scott attributed his mother's presence on the Waltons' set as how he was able to stay grounded, despite being a child star.
"My mom was on the set for me. And I thank her for being there. And talk about centering me," said Scott in the interview.
He explained that his mother had him do his chores after he finished filming an episode of The Waltons.
"She kept me very grounded, I finish up work and I'd still have to go clean up after the dog when I got home. And I went through Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. I'm an Eagle Scout," said Scott.
Iconic '90s Actress With Major Emmy Award Turns 61
Before social media made fashion and lifestyle influencers a thing, one fictional columnist ruled them all.
On Wednesday, Sarah Jessica Parker celebrated her 61st birthday, marking her five decades in the spotlight. While she appeared in films and on Broadway long before the 1990s, it was her performance as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City that cemented her place in television.
On top of her acting and fashion ventures, Parker is the curator behind SJP Lit, a literary imprint launched in 2022 that publishes "expansive, thought-provoking, and big-hearted literary fiction." Their latest book, Women and Children First, by Alina Grabowski, landed on various listicles in The New York Times, Oprah Daily and Vogue for the most anticipated release for 2024.
"đHappy Birthday to our iconic publisher @sarahjessicaparker !" the official SJP Lit Instagram posted on Wednesday afternoon, along with a photo of the actress holding A Quitters Paradise by Elysha Chang.
View this post on InstagramBorn in Ohio but raised in New York, Parker was a trained singer and ballerina, and made her Broadway debut in the play The Innocents when she was just 11 years old. In the late 1970s and 1980s, she held different roles in various Broadway musicals, movies and TV shows, including Annie, Square Pegs, Footloose, Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Flight of the Navigator.
In the 1990s, Parker was involved in two cult-classic films: Honeymoon in Vegas and Hocus Pocus. Both movies were a critical success, earning more than $35 million at the box office. She also continued her theater career, starring in the off-Broadway play Sylvia, alongside her now husband, Matthew Broderick.

In 1998, SJP started playing Carrie Bradshaw in HBO's Sex and the City, which followed four girls who lived in New York City. Despite their different natures and changing sex lives, they remain inseparable and confide in each other. Carrie is the narrator and main character of the drama series, and each episode is structured around her train of thought while writing her weekly column "Sex and the City" for the New York Star. Concluding after six seasons, SJP's role gave her two Primetime Emmy Awards, three SAG Awards and four Golden Globes. The series also starred Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.
Kristin Davis, as Charlotte York, and Sarah Jessica Parker, as Carrie Bradshaw, seen on Location For "Sex and the City" on May 08, 2001 at Central Park in New York City, New York, United States. After Sex and the City ended, Parker went on to appear in multiple acting projects. Sex and the City ended up returning for a film, which was released in 2008 and then the sequel in 2010. In 2021, Parker, Nixon and Davis returned as Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, respectively, in the revival titled And Just Like That..., which aired on HBO for four years.
Now, Parker has three children with her husband, Broderick, and manages a shoe line and her publishing imprint. The 61-year-old actress has always been a huge book lover, and on Monday, she was featured in a Vogue article about the rise of books, saying that "there are so many exciting books on our horizon."
Sex and the City and its revival, And Just Like That..., can both be streamed on HBO Max.

The Next-Level Easter Treat Thatâs Way Easier To Make Than It Looks
Easter just wouldnât feel right without peanut butter eggs. Theyâre the best part of those pastel-filled baskets, and honestly, they might even be better than chocolate bunnies.
But hereâs the thingâstore-bought peanut butter eggs, like Reeseâs, aren't always gluten-free. Itâs frustrating for me because their regular cups donât have gluten, but for some reason, the holiday versions do. That means that for me, making them from scratch is the best and safest option. Bonus: They taste even better when they're homemade.
In our family, homemade peanut butter eggs have become an Easter staple, thanks to my husbandâs uncle. Every year, he makes a batch, and we all look forward to them. Theyâre rich, creamy and wrapped in just the right amount of chocolateâway better than anything store-bought.
Now, Iâm taking inspiration from him and making my own, and thanks to social media, I have even more great ideas for making peanut butter eggs at home.

⏠original sound - Crowded Kitchen How To Make Peanut Butter Eggs From ScratchFor these eggs, you need creamy peanut butter, softened unsalted butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, salt, milk (or heavy cream for extra richness), chocolate chips and coconut oil.Â
In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract and salt until smooth. Slowly add the powdered sugar, stirring until it forms a thick, dough-like consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add milk (one tablespoon at a time) until it holds together but isnât sticky.
Roll the mixture into small ovals or use an egg-shaped cookie cutter for a more uniform look. Place the peanut butter eggs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes. This helps them firm up so they donât fall apart when you dip them in the chocolate and dipping a chilled egg will also help the chocolate coating set.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. If using a double boiler, melt the chocolate over simmering water, stirring until glossy and pourable.
Using a fork or dipping tool, coat each peanut butter egg in chocolate, letting the excess drip off before placing them back on the parchment paper. If you want that perfect Reeseâs-style shell, you can double-dip after the first layer sets.
Let the eggs sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets or speed up the process by refrigerating them. Once the chocolate has hardened, itâs time to decorate!

How To Decorate Homemade Peanut Butter EggsDecorating these peanut butter eggs is where you can get creative. You can use a contrasting chocolate (white over dark or vice versa) and drizzle over the eggs for a bakery-style look.
Easter-themed sprinkles or edible glitter add a festive touch while dipping half of the egg in white chocolate and half in dark chocolate gives it a sophisticated, marbled effect.
Want to make the eggs look a little realistic? Flick a little food coloring mixed with cocoa powder over the eggs to make them look like Robinâs eggs.
For more fun, use melted chocolate to pipe little flowers, initials, or even tiny Easter bunnies on top.
Whether you stick with the classic or go all out with decorations, these peanut butter eggs are guaranteed to be a hit!

This Easy '70s-Era Bunny Cake Is the Most Fun Easter Dessert
There's nothing more enjoyable on Easter Day than a fun cake. And on Easter weekend, why not elevate your celebrations with a low-effort, high-reward dessert that the whole family can pitch in on?
Made with almost all store-bought ingredients and super easy to assemble, this cute bunny cake is a classic recipe pulled from a 1970s ad for Baker's Coconut. More than 50 years later, bakers on Reddit turn back to it every single Easter.
And while I don't have an Easter celebration to attend this year, I'm always in the mood to bake. So, I cranked on my oven to give this cutesy dessert a go.Â
Get the recipe:Â Easter Bunny Cake
Ingredients for Easter Bunny Cake Ingredients for Easter Bunny CakeCourtesy of Jessica Wrubel
This cake requires a few ingredients that can either be store-bought or homemade. You need two 9-inch cakes, canned frosting (or one recipe for homemade frosting), candy for decorating (see tips below), sweetened, shredded coconut and red or pink food coloring.Â

How to Make Easter Bunny CakeStart by making your cakes. I decided to make my cakes from scratch and buy my frosting, but you do you. Set one cake round aside. Cut two football shapes from the top and bottom of the other cake round (as pictured below). These two pieces are the bunny ears. The shape in the center of that cake layer will be the bow tie. Â

Now it's time to assemble the cake. Place the uncut cake round in the center of a serving board. Place the football-sized cake pieces above the cake round to create bunny ears and the bow tie-shaped cake piece under the cake round. Frost the cake pieces on the tops and sides, then attach them together with a bit of frosting.

After frosting your cake pieces, sprinkle the cake with coconut. Dye a scant 1/4 cup of coconut with one drop of red or pink food coloring (I used magenta). Mix well and sprinkle on to create the middle of the bunny's ears.

Now comes the creative part: decorating your Bunny Cake! Using Easter-themed sprinkles and jelly beans, add a pattern to your bow tie. Jelly beans can also be used for the bunny's nose and eyes. Whiskers and eyebrows can easily be made with Pull 'N' Peel Twizzlers, cut in various lengths. Of course, use what you have on hand and play around with the placement of the candy until you fall in love with his little bunny face.

What I Thought of Easter Bunny CakeI knew as soon as I saw this cake that it was going to be fun to make. And, of course, I will find any excuse to bake my very favorite vanilla cake recipe from Magnolia Bakeryâit bakes up perfectly golden and tastes delicately moist with just a hint of vanilla. I wanted to maximize my decorating time, so I decided to go the store-bought route and picked up two cans of Duncan Hines vanilla frosting.Â
I was skeptical of the directions for this one because I'm not the most confident in my cake-cutting skills. But visualizing this as two footballs (and sketching it out on a round of parchment before cutting) made the process a lot easier.Â
Overall, this bunny cake sparked so much joy; I found it fun to decide what color and shape of candy to use for the bunny's facial features. I think it would be an excellent festive baking project to work on with kids.Â
Although I may not have grand Easter plans this year, I'm betting that my friends and neighbors won't complain about getting a piece of this hoppy lil' guy.

Tips for Making Easter Bunny Cake- Buy extra ingredients. The recipe I followed suggested two cans of frosting and one bag of coconut, but I made sure that I had extra on handâand I'm glad I did. I used just over one bag of coconut (I had to cover up some mistakes) and used every last drop of frosting from both cans.Â
- Play around with your candy. Think of the possibilities when you go down the Easter candy aisle. Robin's eggs, jelly beans, sprinkles and my personal faveâCadbury Mini Eggsâwould all be delicious and very cute on this cake.
- Buy a big board. I knew I didn't have a serving platter large enough for this bunny, so instead, I grabbed a large piece of foam core for $3 at the craft store. It was a cinch to decorate on, is easy to transport and when I'm finished with it, there's zero clean up.

5 Biggest Changes From Book To Screen in âProject Hail Mary'
Changes from book to screen are inevitable. Some of this is due to time constraints, but a lot of it, especially in science fiction, is to do with the format of storytelling. When it comes to Project Hail Mary, the changes from the Andy Weir novel to the screen are big, and in some cases, they were needed.
Thatâs not to say Project Hail Mary isnât worth the read. Every element of that novel is beautifully crafted, but for the sake of a movie, there are bits that definitely needed to be skipped and adapted. Here are the five biggest changes from book to screen.
Cutting Out Much of the Bookâs BeginningsThe start of Project Hail Mary is lengthy. We get the entire coma plot and then thereâs the process of Ryland Grace waking up from that coma. There are a few elements of the story that get repetitive, but it works for the narrative, and a lot of this was taken out of the movie.
This meant that repetitive elements from the book were removed. Instead of Ryland waking up from a coma, he wakes up after his whole crew has been killed. He doesnât nede to remember things as simple as 2+2 or how to climb a ladder. It helps to streamline the whole process, which Project Hail Mary continues to do with the scientific elements of it.
In a way, it makes it better for the movie. For the book, though, thereâs a level of empathy and dread for Grayson when he wakes up from that coma that the movie was missing.
Ryland Doesnât Seem as Smart in the MovieAs mentioned, the science elements of the novel are streamlined in the movie. That can make it easier for the viewer to understand, but it does take away from some of Rylandâs personality. In the novel, he is a smart man, and itâs easy to see how he could even potentially survive on his own.
In the movies, he doesnât seem as smart. It takes away some of the realism from the storyline, but not enough to totally destroy the plot. Ryland is more humorous in the movie than he is in the novel, and I do think that makes it more entertaining from a viewer point of view, and itâs great for those who havenât read the books yet. It also suits Ryan Goslingâs personality a little more.
I just miss the super smart nerd in the spacecraft. Itâs okay to add some science to the fiction, as The Martian proved.
The Addition of Officer CarlIn a novel, the main character can talk to himself and we can hear him perfectly fine. Everything is told through the narration, and itâs something that many books do. In a movie, things are different, and it gets boring watching one character just talk to themselves. Itâs rare that an actor can command the screen for so long, and I still stand by one of the only times itâs worked was during one episode of Peter Capaldiâs era on Doctor Who.
The movie gets around the problem of Ryland talking to himself through the introduction of Officer Carl, a character not in the books at all. When he couldnât talk to Carl, he was able to talk to the shipâs operating system, Mary, more than he did in the books. It was certainly a welcome and worthy change to make.
The Addition of the TattooThere were a few changes to Eva Stratt in the movie to, arguably, make her more likable to the viewers. However, there was a subtle addition if you looked closely. She has a tattoo that is a V with a line through it. This was an idea from Weir, according to SYFY.
Stratt was put through the wringer while on Earth, and itâs possible that she ended up in a French prison. The tattoo was a symbol of her getting life without parole, but sheâs clearly able to escape thanks to her own connections.
This doesnât change too much in the form of the story. It adds a layer of detail that couldnât make it to the books, but also helps to explain elements that couldnât quite make it to the movie storytelling.
Finding Out It Was All Worth ItItâs always important to know that a sacrifice was worth making. Thatâs the whole point of these stories, and the Project Hail Mary book doesnât quite do that. It does leave a lot of questions open, and in a way, that can be a good thing as it leaves us questioning and discussing.
However, the ending of the Project Hail Mary movie brings closure thatâs needed. We get to see that Rylandâs sacrifice was worth it. The Earth has been saved, which was always implied in the book. Could the movie have worked without it? Iâm honestly not sure, and thatâs why itâs such a worthy change.
Project Hail Mary does an excellent job of recreating the books. The small changes donât affect too much of the overall story, and for the most part, help to strengthen it.
3 Birth Dates With Naturally Healing Energy
We've all encountered someone whose influence has profoundly healed our lives. Alternatively, we might be that person for someone else. In their presence, barriers dissolve, hearts open, and our philosophy shifts. According to expert numerologists and astrologers, three specific birth dates stand out as the most likely to embody naturally healing energy. These individuals impart an energy that is difficult to describe but is deeply felt by those they encounter.
Which Birth Dates Embody Naturally Healing Energy?Check for your birth date. Disregard birth months.
Born on the 11th - Aligned HealerWhen you encounter someone born on the 11th, expect a sense of wonder to fill your energy field. In numerology, 11 is considered a Master Number, embodying heightened intuition, spiritual power, and magnetism. Individuals with this birth date often have a deep desire to positively impact others' lives and tend to be natural leaders. However, this leadership is not driven by ego. On the flip side, they're team players who are deeply attuned to the emotional needs of those around them. Guided by the Moon, our cosmic guide through uncharted feelings and emotional depths, they provide comfort even upon first encounters. Their excellent advice changes lives. Still, what truly sets them apart is their remarkable ability to create a non-judgmental space. This allows others to regulate their emotions, feel deeply, and breathe life back into their soulful intentions.
RELATE?: These 4 Birth Months Are Destined to Thrive in Their Golden Years
Born on the 7th - Imaginative HealerIntuitive realms draw those born on the 7th in, as their soul is poetically deep and hard to pinpoint or define. While they have sharp, analytical minds, their insight doesn't come from basic learning. Rather, their old soul wisdom is innate. Introspection comes naturally. This, in turn, enables the ability to determine what matters most versus what is a temporary distraction. When you're acquainted with this person, life feels rich in possibility. You understand your limitations with greater clarity. However, they begin to feel less like a burden and more like a spiritual assignment. With their expensive voice, encouraging a dreamer's philosophy, they remind you that every hurdle is an opportunity for deeper self-reflection. As within, so without. No one understands this truth more deeply than those guided by Neptune, the spiritualplanet of empathy.

Born on the 27th - Passionate HealerGuided by the energy of Mars, the planet of bold energy and raw vitality, these individuals are meant to trailblaze. Injustice makes your skin crawl. You couldn't silence your voice in unfair situations, no matter how hard you try. As a natural humanitarian, people born on the 27th are deeply healing. Their approach does not stem from passivity; rather, they proactively engage with the world, fully awakened. Their actions are in harmony with their values. Possessing a strong moral compass, they repel negative influences that could not only dim their own light but also undermine others' confidence in their self-worth. When you're around them, you'll find yourself developing greater willpower. They won't comfort you with lies; they understand that the truth can set you free. Through this process, you gain more agency, which uplifts and empowers you.

And while Iâd like to say they were gone before I could even have one, the truth is I was the one who ate them all, and I donât regret it.Â
In terms of texture, it couldnât get more decadent. The cakes are soft, moist and melt-in-your-mouth, while the Belgian chocolate is perfect for someone like me who can only handle dark chocolate in small increments. My only complaint is how dangerously easy they are to eat, though itâs probably a good thing they donât come in larger quantities.Â
For a slightly firmer texture, Iâd bet these taste amazing straight from the fridge, or even frozen and left to thaw a bit at room temperature before digging in. Theyâd also pair perfectly with a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream and maybe a drizzle of caramel to tie it all together.
Chocolate Mousse Eggs, cut openNathan Hutsenpiller
Even though I chose to be selfish and keep them all to myself, I can definitely see this version of the store's increasingly popular mousse cakes making the perfect seasonal gift for anyone looking to spread a little chocolate bliss.
If you spot them in stock on your next Trader Joeâs trip, donât waste a secondâtoss a pack in your basket. If youâre really smart, grab a couple extra to stash in the freezer. Thereâs no telling how long theyâll be around, and youâll be glad you did.
And if you really like what you see, check out this savory Trader Joe's $5 freezer find and this $5 McDonald's breakfast dupe for more must-try favorites from the grocer.

Sofia Grainge Announces the Birth of Her Second Baby
Itâs official! Sofia Richie Grainge is now the mom of two. The model/designer (and daughter of legendary musician Lionel Richie) announced the birth of her son on March 25, 2026. He is her second child with husband music executive Elliot Grainge.Â
In an absolutely adorable Instagram post, the proud mama shares her littlest oneâs name, captioning her photo, âHenry Cecil Grainge.â She also adds his birth date, which was one week ago on March 18, 2026.Â
View this post on InstagramWhile we can only see the edge of her newbornâs face, the photo does show the blue onesie-clad kiddoâs teeny tiny hands. The pic also features Henryâs big sis, Eloise. Ever the private parent, Grainge only shows her totâs legs, an arm, and a plush pink bib. Born in May of 2024, Eloise is getting ready to turn two! And judging by some of Graingeâs other posts, the little girl is filled with toddler energy.
Fans, friends, and family took to Instagram to wish the new parents congrats on the birth of their youngest baby. Stylist Thomas Christos Kikis also noticed something others may have missed, commenting, âYour manicure.âÂ
Yes, thatâs right. Only a week after giving birth, Sofiaâs hand (which is barely in the picture) features perfectly polished light blue nails. And we give the new mama props for her stylish look. As any new parent knows, it isnât easy!Â
Of course, well-wishers wanted to talk about more than just Graingeâs nails. Influencer and model Claire Rose Cliteur showered the new mom with praise, writing, âCongratulations Sofia, you did it again super mama!âÂ
Grainge made her second pregnancy public in October 2025, announcing the news with a belly-baring Instagram post. Celeb friends reacted with love and praise. Vanessa Hudgens commented, âYesss back to back babyyy,â while dad Lionel Richie added three hearts.Â
View this post on InstagramFollowing her pregnancy reveal, Grainge kept her adoring public updated on her pregnancy. Periodic posts on Instagram show the chic mommy-to-be dressed in haute designer ensembles, showing off her growing bump.Â
View this post on InstagramJust a few short weeks ago, on March 11, Sofia posted a sweet selfie captioned, âBig plans.â One commenter wrote, âYou look like youâre carrying a boy.â Of course, Grainge had already revealed the baby's sex (on her Instagram Stories back in January). Â
View this post on InstagramIn photos from the sports-themed soiree, one of the plates has name cards for Grainge and her almost two-year-old, Eloise. The 27-year-old added the caption âCelebrating Eloiseâs soon to be brotherâ and a blue heart. Just in case anyone missed the Instagram Stories clips, Grainge also added a more permanent post of the event, with the caption, âCelebrating our baby boy to be. Welcome to The Grainge Club.â
âLittle House on the Prairieâ Star Was Told She Had To Lose Weight To Join the Series
Pamela Roylance, who joined the cast of Little House on the Prairie in season nine, opened up about being told she needed to lose weight to get cast on the popular series.
Roylance, 73, played the role of Sarah Carter on the iconic show, which was based on the beloved book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. But in a revealing new interview on the March 24 episode of The Patrick LaboyorSheaux, hosted byformer Little House star Patrick Labyorteaux, Roylance explained that she was told she needed to slim down to score the role of Carter.
At the time of her audition, she was working at a chocolate factory and eating a lot of the products. Then she got called in to audition for Little House.
âI'm a bit overweight. I'm eating the chocolates a lot,â she said, explaining that she was about six pounds overweight, PEOPLE reported. âAnd my frame is athletic, and it's square. You know, I'm not voluptuous, which is why I didn't last on Days of Our Lives, which I would get after Little House. I just didn't have that perfect figure. I was a little kind of straight up and down squareish.â
Roylance went in to meet the casting director, but was told she needed to drop weight.
âShe's very sweet and she says, âYou're good and I want to have you come back in, but you're a little heavy to be on the prairie. Youâve got to be a little thinner,â â she said. âAnd she said, âIf you can lose some weight, I'll have you come back and meet Michael [Landon].â And I said, âOkay.â â
Roylance decided to go for it and landed the role.
Check out the actress discussing her experience below:
What Was Starring on Little House Like? For the other stars on Little House, the show's popularity was insane. Star Matthew Labyorteaux was such a hot ticket during the heyday of Walnut Grove that he was followed around in public.
The actor, now 59, played the Ingalls familyâs adopted son Albert on the beloved series. But during the run of the show, he experienced a level of popularity that was so wild that he was occasionally swarmed by fans.
Last year, Matthewâs older brother, Patrick, recalled a day spent on the Paramount Ranch with his little bro and friend Al Eisenmann at a renaissance faire, Entertainment Weekly reports.
There was a station of the faire called a Kissing Bridge, which functioned as a spot to kiss your loved one. Too young to be into girls, Matthew had taken off to enjoy a turkey leg, one of the fine culinary staples of a Renaissance faire.
âWe see girls around the corners of the Kissing Bridge, kinda checking us out,â Patrick recalled in his podcast. â[But] nothing is happening, and I see my brother with his turkey leg. Thatâs not sexy, girls donât like guys eating turkey legs.â
Patrick continued, sharing that they âhead across and I see this terrified look on Alâs face. He points behind me and he goes, âAlbert down! Albert down!â I turn around and my brother, in the middle of the Kissing Bridge, is surrounded by girls wanting to kiss Albert. Heâs still trying to hold the turkey leg, and heâs getting kissed by all these girls.â
While Patrick would have loved the idea of being swarmed by girls, Matthew wasnât old enough to find it interesting.
âThis is a dream come true to Al and I, but to my brother, it was a nightmare. Alâs going, âAlbert down! Albert down!â and we run in there like a military squad getting him out to safety,â Patrick recalled. âNo man left behind, and no turkey leg left behind.â
âFear Factor: House of Fearâ Finale Sneak Peek: Contestants Face Drowning and Carnivorous Fish (Exclusive)
Tonight, Fear Factor: House of Fear has its grand finale. So far, we've watched players get shrink-wrapped alive, crash through a wall of fire, compete in a gross pie-eating contest, and deliver electric shocks to one another. And, through it all, only four players remain in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize: Chelsea Montgomery, Ethan Macmillan, Jayleen Carmona, and Rob Rast.
Of course, the FOX reboot of the iconic pulse-pounding reality series isn't going to be pulling its punches in its last episode. While there are only two challenges remaining in the season, Parade can provide an exclusive sneak peek of the penultimate competition. And it's a mash-up of two wonderfully frightful ideas: Drowning, and ravenous fish.
In the clip above, we get a snippet of Chelsea and Jayleen competing in the aforementioned challenge. The players are tasked with submerging themselves into a water tank that has a maze affixed to the wall. Their goal: Navigate the peg through the maze as quickly as possible to lock in your place in the final challenge. Of course, their desire to get through can hit a literal dead end as panic sets in and they lose breath. Luckily, there is a window at the top of the tank, allowing competitors to take in air. But that takes away precious time, with every breath possibly costing you $200,000.
It also doesn't help that the tank is a little...well, cramped. Both containers are filled with a number of large fish. While the sea creatures are not named in the clip, some quick research shows they are most likely alligator gars. One of North America's largest freshwater fish, the animal is named for its long snout, similar to the titular amphibian, including two rows of sharp teeth. Despite the sharp weapons they swim around with, alligator gars seem to rarely bite unless they feel provoked, or mistake a human for prey.
It's lucky there aren't two humans swimming and thrashing inches away from them or anything.

Despite all the mounting danger around them, as well as the immense pressure of this "lose-and-go-home" challenge, Chelsea and Jayleen are performing remarkably well. For Chelsea in particular, it's an opportunity to redeem herself on a puzzle, after floundering (for lack of a better term) with the circuit board last week. Both women immediately dive in and start flying through the maze. It's an incredibly impressive performance as time ticks by, as noted by host Johnny Knoxville.
"This is really close," the Jackass star comments. "How have they not come up for air yet? I would be toast by now!"
Well, given the fact that $200,000 is on the line, it's safe to say both Chelsea and Jayleen would face a lack of air and possible bites from massive fish, all to prove that fear (and air) is not a factor for them.
Check out the clip above for an exclusive preview of what's to come. The Fear Factor: House of Fear Season 1 finale airs tonight, March 25, 2026, at 9 pm ET/PT on FOX.

Born on March 25, 1961, in Galveston, Texas, Stockwell began his professional career at a young age. While studying Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University, he immersed himself into the film industry.
While in school, he commuted between Cambridge to New York City for television and theater roles before making his feature film debut in 1981 movie So Fine. Throughout his four-decade spanning career, Stockwell has been featured in countless films and television shows. He is most notable for his role in the record-breaking 1986 action film, Top Gun.
John Stockwell as Lt. Bill "Cougar" Cortell in the movie "Top Gun," directed by Tony Scott and released on May 16, 1986.In the film, which was the highest-grossing movie of the year, Stockwell portrayed LT Bill "Cougar" Cortell, an elite naval aviator. Following a high-pressure, near-death experience during a mission, Cougar suffers a panic attack in the air, endangering both himself and Maverick (played by Tom Cruise). Deciding he values his family over his career in the skies, Cougar turns in his wings and is honorably discharged. His pivotal opening scenes establish the underlying themes of the film, showcasing the psychological risks and high-pressure choices elite pilots must face.
In the late 1980s, Stockwell pivoted from onscreen performances to behind-the-scenes driven work. Cult icon Richard OâBrien is celebrating a milestone birthday.
O'Brien turns 84, marking a career that has spanned acting, writing and music and helped shape one of the most beloved cult phenomena in entertainment history.
He is best known as the creator and star of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the genre-defying musical film that has captivated audiences for decades. O'Brien not only wrote the original stage musical, The Rocky Horror Show, but also brought the eccentric character Riff Raff to life on screen, becoming an unforgettable part of the filmâs legacy.
"It's a safe place for people to know that they belong to the rainbow community, and that they're going to be in a safe area," O'Brien said of the production in a 2025 interview. "It's like going to a club, in a way, where you know itâs safe. It's become a place of refuge."
Originally debuting on stage in London in 1973, The Rocky Horror Show quickly gained a devoted following before being adapted into the 1975 film. Though it had a modest initial release, The Rocky Horror Picture Show went on to become one of the longest-running theatrical releases of all time, thanks to midnight screenings and an intensely loyal fanbase.
"What pleases me about all of the scenes is that we were doing a parody without one single actor admitting that in their performance," O'Brien told Flood in 2025. "It was never, 'Aren't we funny?' We played it as the most serious theater piece ever. And we really got away with it, as it could've been this silly piece of camp nonsense. It's not a sex show. It's a fairy taleâa rite-of-passage fairy tale."
O'Brien's songwriting played a major role in the showâs success, with tracks like "Time Warp" becoming enduring pop culture staples. His work earned him a Tony Awards nomination in 2001, recognizing the impact of his music and writing on the stage production. In 20021, O'Brien won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.
"My greatest joy is writing lyrics," O'Brien said. I love being confined by meter and delivering words that make sense, are artfully placed, can fly, and bring joy either through their wit or their beauty. Lyrics are the very best puzzles."
Beyond Rocky Horror, OâBrien built a varied career in television and film, including hosting the long-running game show The Crystal Maze, which further cemented his status as a distinctive and charismatic entertainer.
As Richard OâBrien turns 84, his legacy continues to thriveânot just through his performances, but through the music and storytelling that turned Rocky Horror into a cultural phenomenon that still resonates with audiences today.

Original 'E.T.' Star Reveals Harrison Ford Had a Cut Cameo Role in the Iconic Film
Henry Thomas was only nine years old when he played the leading role of Elliot in the Steven Spielbergfilm E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Looking back at the 1982 classic, the actor recalls how Harrison Fordmade a cameo appearance that ended up being cut from the film.
The 54-year-old spoke with The Hollywood Reporter's It Happened in Hollywood podcast about his rise to fame thanks to the movie, and what happened behind-the-scenes. One thing he remembers is Ford constantly being on set, despite not being cast in E.T.
At the time, Ford was not only close friends with Spielberg, but was also dating the movie's screenwriter, Melissa Mathison, at the time. It led the actor to always be on set and be heckled by Spielberg to appear in the film.
"Harrison was on set quite a bit," Thomas recalled. "And of course, with his history with Steven and everything... Steven was always bugging him. You know, he wanted to put him in the movie, and Harrison was like, 'No, no, I don't wanna I don't wanna do it.'"
Spielberg ended up getting what he wanted and had Ford play the role of school principal. Thomas remembers that the role came with a few specifications, like Ford "didn't want to be seen" or have his face shown. He recalls the actor just wanting to "talk and have his hands in the movie. So it was a fun day."
Thomas goes on to explain that the scene involved Ford, as the principal, sitting with the back of his chair facing Elliot, and E.T. is drunk on beer at this point. E.T. begins to levitate Elliot out of his chair and upward toward the ceiling before landing back where he was as the principal turns around.
Sadly, the cameo was cut during the editing process and was never released.
The E.T. actor said working with Ford was a great experience, seeing as he was a fan of the Indiana Jones films. He adds that he met Spielberg on the set of Poltergeist and paid homage to Ford's character by wearing a bullwhip. Thomas was "very disappointed" when the director didn't acknowledge his small tribute.
Whitney Leavitt on 'SLOMW' Production Pause and What's Next After Broadway
While Hulu's Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has paused production following a resurfaced domestic violence incident involving cast member Taylor Frankie Paul, castmate Whitney Leavitt says she's unsure of what's next for the show.
"I donât know what that future looks like, especially right now," she said in a Q+A with Interview magazine out Wednesday.
As for accusations against Paul, and the footage that has been released involving her estranged partner Dakota Mortensen and their daughter, Leavitt didn't weigh in too much, but still condemned the behavior.
"I have a lot of emotions about it and Iâm still processing everything thatâs happening, but the safety of human beings, especially children, comes first," she said. "Always, period, the end. And I donât want that to be tolerated. I donât want that to be overlooked. Itâs just so fresh. Thatâs all I have to say about that."

Leavitt, who is currently on Broadway in 'Chicago: The Musical' as Roxie Hart recently celebrated the fact that the show had its highest grossing period in its 29-year history during her stint on stage. While she was initially slated to end her Broadway run mid-March, her time as the show's main character was extended to the beginning of April. However, the Dancing with the Stars alum announced recently that she'll be staying on for a few more weeks as her DWTS partner, Mark Ballas, will join the cast alongside her as Billy Flynn.
Related: 'DWTS' Star Mark Ballas to Join Partner Whitney Leavitt in 'Chicago'
The mom-of-three has starred on SLOMW since its premiere in 2024. Leavitt, at times, has been framed as a villain due to her rocky relationships with her fellow castmates and most recently found herself in hot water with the ladies as she admitted she came back for the show's fourth season to land a spot on DWTS. Reflecting on that drama now, Leavitt says it was worth it as she made it to the semi-finals of the competition and landed a history-making Broadway role.
"Itâs definitely validating, she said. "Iâd be lying if I didnât say it feels good."
As for what's next for the now multi-hyphenate? The 32-year-old mentioned she loves Traitors but ultimately said, "I want to be a movie star, baby."
Fortunately, she's off to a great start as she announced last year she'll be starring in a holiday-themed rom-com for the 2026 season.

The Biggest Bombshells from Jessi Draper's 'Call Her Daddy' Interview
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Jessi Draper is breaking her silence on her divorce from Jordan Ngatikaura.
During the Wednesday, Mar. 25 episode of Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, Draper spoke about her split for the first time, and shared some insight into the ongoing controversy surrounding Taylor Frankie Paul.
Here are the biggest bombshells from the episode.
Draper says she found out Ngatikaura filed for divorce through TMZOn Thursday, Mar. 19, TMZ broke the news that Ngatikaura had filed for divorce. However, Draper claims she was the one to ask for a divorce in the first place, and that she found out about his filing along with the rest of the world.
"He was definitely trying to get ahead of something, which is ironic 'cause I'm the one who ended it. I told him on Friday the 13th, so not that long ago, and I just said I want a divorce," Draper said. "He definitely didn't want it, and now he's the one rushing to do it, which is a little strange."
She also claimed that he tried to put a clause in the filing that would prevent her from talking about him on a podcast, but she didn't sign anything agreeing to thatâhence why she was able to go on Call Her Daddy.
Draper claimed Ngatikaura was âemotionally abusiveâ throughout their relationshipFor fans of Mormon Wives, Ngatikaura's alleged emotional abuse was no secret. However, Draper shared some new details in the interview that weren't covered on the reality series.
"It's like 90% criticism and 10% compliments," she said of Ngatikaura's behavior. "Anything I did, like how I ran my business, how I parented, my time management, how I cleaned the house, like every little thing, even like how I would like dress and like, you know, things like that."
Draper also claimed her ex would criticize her appearance and pressure her to go to pilates every day.
Ngatikaura allegedly blackmailed Draper over her affair with Marciano BrunetteIn seasons 3 and 4 of Mormon Wives, viewers saw the couple deal with Draperâs emotional affair with Vanderpump Villaâs Marciano Brunette while she and Ngatikaura were separated.
Although Draper admitted to everything during season 3 of Mormon Wives, she says that before the episodes aired, her husband would threaten to expose her infidelity.
"It got to a point where he was blackmailing me with Marciano texts, and he had them on a draft on his phone on TikTok and anytime he was mad at me he was like, 'I'm going to post them. I'm going to ruin your life,'" Draper claimed.
Draper admitted to "chasing him trying to get it" when he allegedly threatened to post it during one of their arguments.
"He pulls out his phone, starts recording me. And he's like, 'What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? Are you gonna be like, Taylor, should I call the cops?'" Draper said.
"That was the moment where for me I was like, 'What am I doing? I am chasing around my husband trying to get his phone so he doesn't blackmail me. This is not healthy,' and I literally left him the next day. I was like, this can't happen anymore," she added.
Draper says Ngatikaura used an escort service during their marriageDraper claims that she has "proof and screenshots" of her ex-husband contacting an escort service just before Season 1 of Mormon Wives premiered.
"I had an escort service reach out to me and they sent me screenshots of his phone number and messages, and he was trying to meet up with them," Draper alleged. "He got a hotel room and I have all of that."
"He denied it to me when I brought it to him," she continued. "He said, 'We're in Hollywood now. People are going to try to do this to tear us apart. It's probably AI.' But it wasn't."
Draper also claimed she heard Ngatikaura allegedly attends "orgies" and "sex parties" though a friend of hers, but noted she doesn't have proof.
Their prenup is validIn Season 4 of Mormon Wives, Draper learned that her prenuptial agreement with Ngatikaura was not signed by a witness, meaning it may not be valid.
In the penultimate episode of the season, Draper tearfully told her co-stars she could lose "millions" if she divorced Ngatikaura and that he could get half of her business.
However, Draper confirmed on Call Her Daddy that her lawyers told her the prenup is "actually valid."
"You don't need a witness signature as long as both of you have signed it, which we have. So thank God," she said. "I don't have to give him anything for my businesses, but I will have to pay alimony and child support most likely."
The 'Mormon Wives' cast had never seen the Taylor Frankie Paul video before last weekDraper said she and her cast mates were aware a video of Paul's alleged domestic violence existed, but hadn't seen it for themselves until it was posted by TMZ last week.
"Back in 2023, we knew what had happened and we knew there was a video, but like, we never saw it. It was like the police had had it and they talked about it and we all just were like, okay," Draper said.
"I don't like to judge someone in their darkest moment," she continued. "I don't like to judge the person, I'll judge the mistake and Taylor really has made a lot of changes, and that's what so hard for me is like, this is my real friend and she does have a really good heart and I love her so much."
"Seeing that video is like so hard because it's just, there's so much pain underneath the surface for Taylor," she added, breaking down in tears. "And I tell her this all the time that it's not who Taylor is. She got caught in a really bad cycle and just seeing that video and yes, the child being involved is awful and everyone involved like is really hard. But Taylor's such a good person and she's made some mistakes and so has Dakota."
A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department in Utah confirmed that there is an open âdomestic assault investigationâ regarding Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen related to incidents that allegedly occurred in February 2026.
The spokesperson confirmed âallegations have been made in both directionsâ and that âcontact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th,â but declined to share any further details.
Draper concluded, "I believe people can come back from things like this. And I just want the kids to be safe and happy and healthy. That's all I really want for them right now."
Your Weekend Streaming Habit is Actually Wrecking Your Eyesight
Your eyes shouldnât feel like theyâve been rubbed with sandpaper by Sunday night. But if you spent the last 48 hours horizontal on the couch blowing through a prestige drama, that screen sting is the byproduct of a weekend habit that has practically turned into a part-time job.
A new March 2026 report has mapped out the damage. The results are a bit of a wakeup call for anyone who thinks "one more episode" is a harmless personality trait.
Delaware is officially the binge-watching capital of the country. Residents there are clocking over three hours of screen time every single day. Delawareans aren't casual viewers; they are hunting for content more than anyone else, hitting Netflix and HBO search bars thousands of times a week.
But itâs the regional outliers making the rest of us look like amateurs. Montana is the nationâs weekday warriors. People there manage 3.5 hours of streaming between Monday and Friday, the highest mid-week average in the U.S. The most active watchers go even harder, glued to their screens for over four hours before the weekend even starts.
On Saturday, Maine takes the lead. The work week stays relatively quiet, but Maine residents stage a coup on their own free time once Friday hits 5:00 PM. Weâre talking a massive 113% spike in viewing on the weekends: over four hours a day of non-stop marathoning. Colorado is seeing similar spikes, with a 135% jump as residents try to cram an entire week's worth of entertainment into forty-eight hours.
Gidon Sadovsky, CEO of Overnight Glasses, says the TV isn't even the main villain. Itâs the second screen in your hand that's doing the real damage. "Weekend marathons hit differently than daily habits," Sadovsky says in a statement. "Eight hours of streaming in a single day is a different challenge for the eyes than an hour here and there during the week. Up to 67% of adults already use more than one device at the same time, which means those marathon sessions often involve a phone in hand alongside the TV. The eyes are constantly shifting focus between distances, and that constant adjustment is exactly what drives the dryness, blurring, and tension that builds up by Sunday evening."
From Rhode Island residents downloading shows to New Hampshire viewers pushing through fatigue to finish a series, the algorithm has taken over the weekend. Even in Nebraska and Nevada, the search for what to watch has become a primary pastime. If you find yourself deep in a âsuggested for youâ rabbit hole this weekend, do yourself a favor: blink.
