The Best MLB Stadium in the U.S. Is in This Historic City and Also Has Some of the Best Food Around
Each year, USA Today puts together its 10Best lists, which name the top 10 best places in certain categories. The publication has just released its list of top Major League Baseball (MLB) parks, and the number one spot has been awarded to Citizen Bank Bark.
But, Philadelphia owes this victory to more than just the spirit of its very own Phillies. It sounds like a big debt of gratitude is also owed to the park's beloved food and drink offerings, which range from local favorites like Chickie's & Pete's to the Jersey Shore's own Manco & Manco Pizza.
View this post on Instagram Citizens Bank Park Named Best MLB Stadium in the U.S.USA Today's panel of judges have named Citizen's Bank Park as the number one MLB stadium in the country. "The City of Brotherly Love welcomed a brand-new stadium in the 21st century, with Citizens Bank Park opening to the public in 2004," the details of the voting said. "Philadelphia Phillies games are a top attraction around here, but no visit to the park is complete without checking out Ashburn Alley, a site that's packed full of local restaurants and baseball-themed interactive displays."
Those who want to catch a game there will have dozens of opportunities to, since it appears that the league will be hosting more than 80 of its games in the beloved park. As for ticket prices, you can expect to pay a range of prices depending on where you're seated, with some tickets going for as little as $49 each. Of course, that doesn't include some of the other expenses you may face when heading to the big game, since you'll also likely encounter parking fees or else need to pony up for transportation costs, especially if you'll be drinking.

Citizens Bank Park is Known for its Food ConcessionsAs someone who has been to her fair share of ballgames, I know that noshing on some ballpark favorites is an essential part of the experience. That's also a big driver in what saw the park named as one of the best in America, since it has so many delicious food and drink offerings to choose from, according to Eater Philly, like:
- Chickie's & Pete's
- Hatfield Grill
- Old City Creamery
- South Philadelphia Market
- Four Walls Whiskey
- 1883 Burger Co.
- Casamigos Bar
- Schar Gluten-Free Dedicated Stand
- Miller Lite Liberty Landing
- Jim Beam Cocktail Bar
- Kona Big Wave Bar
- Kosher Grill
- Greens & Grains
- Coca-Cola Corner
- Yuengling Party Pavilion
- Uncle Charlie's Steaks
- Many Hands Coffee Truck
- Budweiser Batter's Eye Bar
- Bull's BBQ
- Campo's
- Colbie's Southern Kissed Chicken
- Federal Donuts
- Manco & Manco Pizza
- Pass and Stow
- P.J. Whelihan's
- Shake Shack
- Tony Luke's
- The Yard Bar
Believe it or not, this isn't even everything, since there are also different options that are only available in certain sections, like at the club level. And while Phillies fans of a certain age may be sad that they can't grab an old school Schmitter when they head to the ballpark, it's clear that there won't be any shortage of options to choose from when you're here.

Citizens Bank Park Isn't the Only Top Ballpark in PennsylvaniaWhile we're talking about noteworthy ballparks, it's worth adding that Coca-Cola Park also won top marks from USA Today's 10Best list this year. The park, which is less than two hours from Citizens Bank Park (depending on when you're traveling and whether you get stuck in that Philly's game day traffic), would make the perfect stop for anyone hoping to see exactly what all the fuss is about Pennsylvania's ballparks, and why we keep ranking so high when it comes time to enjoy America's favorite past time.
Actor Tied to ‘James Bond’ Rumors Calls Fan Reactions ‘Not Normal'
It'll be five years since the last James Bond movie, No Time to Die, starring Daniel Craig, was released. There are rumors about who is being considered to take over the iconic British role.
Of course, fans of the spy franchise have their own opinions of who should take over the role. Regé-Jean Page talked about the reaction to him possibly being 007.

Page, 38, addressed his name coming up as a possible Bond and the intensity around that. "It is strange, it’s not normal," he told Esquire. "How I navigate it is very much about what is useful, what serves me in my job, in being able to deliver what I need to deliver to an audience, and a lot of that is just grounding," the Bridgerton alum said.

The rumor started after it was known he wouldn't return to the Netflix Regency show in 2020. Michael Fassbender revealed he auditioned for the role before it went to Craig. He wanted to see Craig in it more than himself. Fassbender revealed his pick for the next star.
"Well, I think Regé could be a frontrunner after this, to be honest," he told Us Weekly. "I think he’s fantastic. He’s got all the attributes. So let’s wait and see."
Page was in action movies like The Gray Man, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and Black Bag. Two of those movies revolved around spies. He's back to playing a romantic lead in You, Me, and Tuscany opposite Halle Bailey.
Prime Video bought creative rights to James Bond, according to Collider. Bait is a comedy show starring Riz Ahmed, who is an actor rumored to play the iconic role. There is no word yet on when we can expect a new movie.

'Summer House' Plot Twist: Amanda Batula & West Wilson Confirm Romance Amid Cast Chaos
After days of speculation, Summer House stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula confirmed that their friendship has progressed into a romantic relationship.
Batula and Wilson made a joint post on Instagram addressing the crescendo of chatter:
"We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."
"We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected," they continued. "Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
"As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this."
Caught in the middle are Ciara Miller, who was seemingly rekindling her romance with Wilson, and Kyle Cooke, Batula's estranged husband. Cooke and Batula announced their separation in January before the new Summer House season began. When asked about the rumors during his appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Cooke said, “It would certainly catch me by surprise and feel a little reckless,” he said. “I think Ciara would probably have something to say.” Miller is no longer following Wilson or Batula on Instagram.
Adding to the confusion in the latest round of rumors are Wilson's remarks about them dating that started brewing in early March. Wilson appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and addressed rumors that he and Batula might be together. "She's single now, and I gotta show her the streets a little bit," he said, insisting they were not a couple. "If it's not clear, that's a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot. That's a friend. Hope that's clear."
For her part, Batula said on the Trading Secrets podcast she had no interest in dating anyone from Summer House. "I’m not touching any of my cast members. Love them dearly, but I’m good," she said only three weeks ago.
The story continues to unfold...
Summer House is on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
3 Women Facing Charges After Refusing to Pay Extra Baggage Fees at Airport
Getting fed up with all of the extra fees most airlines are charging these days? So are three women who recently got into with a Frontier Airlines gate clerk. But, instead of handing over the extra money to get their carry-on luggage on board, the airline alleges that the ladies rushed onto the plane without paying, causing quite a tense scene for the passengers already on board.
Not only that, but it sounds like the women could be facing some pretty serious charges now, including one woman who stands accused of assault. Here's what happened.
Frontier Airlines Accuses 3 Women of Refusing to Pay for Their BagsA quiet Sunday sounds like it turned fraught for one Frontier Airline's employee who says that three women tried to board a flight bound for Philadelphia at Miami International Airport. According to People magazine, Nafisa Dockery, Davana Cochran, and Dionjana Cochran stand accused of arguing with an employee who noticed that the ladies had two carry-on bags with them, despite only paying for one. When the employee says he asked them to pay for the additional bag, a "verbal altercation" took place, where the employee says they informed the ladies they would be removed from the flight if they didn't cough up the cash.
However, the Frontier agent says the women weren't interested in listening, and says that Nafisa told her two companions, “We don’t have to listen, let’s just go,” before pushing past and boarding the flight. The airline's agents than called the police, who boarded the plane to remove the women. But, when they "refused to comply," as per the police report reviewed by People magazine, the rest of the passengers were instead evacuated so the women could be forcibly removed, which resulted in a brief struggle.

The Travelers Now Face Legal ChargesPeople notes that the flight was delayed for more than an hour as a result of the incident, which ultimately saw the women charged with a slew of charges that include:
- Resisting an officer without violence to his person
- Trespassing on property/after a warning
- Battery
Unfortunately for the women, a clip of the arrest seems to have gone viral on Instagram, which shows the ladies being removed from the Miami airport in handcuffs, where one person commented that this was a good way to "get on the no flight list."

Frontier's Carry-on Fees Aren't That HighWhile there may be more to the story that we don't know about yet, it is worth noting that Frontier, like many airlines, does allow passengers to bring one free personal item and then charges a nominal fee for a carryon sized "24"H X 16"W X 10"D and < 35 lbs including handles, wheels, and straps."
Unfortunately for these ladies, the legal fees associated with the incident, combined with the loss of their flights, is likely to amount to a whole lot more than they would've paid if they had just handed over payment for the bags.
Major Airline Hikes Checked Baggage Fees up to $9 Higher Amid Rising Fuel Costs
If you’ve booked a flight recently and felt sticker shock at the checkout page, you’re not alone. In late March 2026, JetBlue Airways became the first major U.S. carrier to raise its checked baggage fees, per CNBC, citing the sharp rise in fuel and operating costs. The changes are subtle on the surface but for frequent flyers and families, these bumps can add up fast. As airlines grapple with expensive jet fuel and cost pressures from global oil markets, travelers are starting to feel the impact in unexpected ways.
“As we experience rising operating costs, we regularly evaluate how to manage those costs while keeping base fares competitive and continuing to invest in the experience our customers value.” says a JetBlue spokesperson on why the airline raised checked baggage fees.
For anyone planning a vacation, weekend getaway, or long‑haul flight, understanding how baggage and flight pricing is evolving can make the difference between a surprisingly affordable trip and one that strains your budget before you’ve even packed your suitcase.
Be the first to know about new travel trends, tips, and tales—subscribe now.
Why Checked Baggage Fees Are Rising Across AirlinesAirlines make money in two broad ways: the base fare you pay at booking, and what the industry calls “ancillary revenue,” which is everything from seat selection to onboard meals and baggage fees. Checked baggage alone has become a major profit center, with U.S. carriers earning billions in recent years from fees passengers pay on top of their ticket price.
Jet fuel prices have climbed sharply amid global geopolitical tensions and disruptions to oil supply lines. Fuel can account for as much as 25 to 30 percent of airline operating expenses, and sudden spikes in jet fuel costs put pressure on profitability.
Unlike raising base fares, which directly affects how expensive a seat appears, bag fee increases are a way for airlines to manage costs without scaring off price‑sensitive customers at the initial booking moment. Many travelers won’t balk at a slightly higher baggage fee, especially if they are focused on securing a flight at their preferred time or route.

Baggage Fee Comparison: Who’s Charging What in 2026JetBlue economy passengers on domestic, Caribbean, and Latin American routes will see a price hike for their first checked bag. During off-peak periods, the fee is rising from $35 to $39. For peak travel dates—including major holidays and most of the summer—the rate will jump from $40 to $49.
Waiting until the last minute will cost you. Travelers will pay a $10 surcharge for bags checked within 24 hours of departure. This aligns with the recent industry trend of offering discounted rates to passengers who prepay for luggage online.
Here’s a snapshot of typical checked baggage fees for U.S. travelers outside of JetBlue (keep in mind these change frequently and may vary by route or fare class):
Checked Baggage Fees and Typical Ranges for Domestic U.S. Flights (2026)
- American Airlines: Around $35 online or $40 at the airport for the first bag.
- Spirit Airlines: Often charges around $30–$50 for the first checked bag if bought at booking, dynamic pricing can make this higher.
- Legacy airlines (Delta, United): Similar fee ranges of roughly $30–$40 for a first checked bag at purchase.
This snapshot shows that travelers now pay not just for the flight, but increasingly for what happens after booking, from seat choices to how many bags you bring. That dynamic pricing reflects how airlines have shifted strategy over the past two decades to rely more on ancillary revenues to stay profitable.
One useful tip from pricing experts is to book checked bags at the time of purchase rather than at the airport. Fees are often significantly higher when added later or at the terminal.

What Travelers Should Look Out ForFrom a travel planning perspective, there are a few practical takeaways that matter:
1. Always do the math on total trip cost: It’s tempting to book the lowest base fare, only to find that by the time baggage, seat fees, and taxes are added, the cheapest flight isn’t so cheap. Using fare comparison tools that total all costs can save money and frustration.
2. Loyalty and credit cards still provide value: Some airline credit cards still waive the first checked bag for cardholders. Depending on how often you fly, that perk alone can offset the annual cost of a travel card, especially with fees creeping higher.
3. Plan ahead to avoid peak pricing: Airlines like JetBlue use “peak pricing” for baggage during spring break, holiday travel, and summer seasons. Booking early and prepaying for luggage can avoid the steepest charges.
4. Pack strategically: Travelers willing to travel light or use carry‑ons can sidestep these fees entirely, but policies on carry‑on sizes and fees vary by carrier. Always check baggage policy charts before booking to ensure your packing plan aligns with the airline’s rules.

What This Means for Flight Costs and Travel BudgetsThe broader trend here offers a useful lesson for any traveler: the base fare is no longer the final price. Ancillary fees have become part of the core pricing experience. While rising fuel costs drive some of these changes, the trend toward unbundling services has been building for years as airlines look for flexible ways to manage margins while keeping headline fares attractive.
For travelers, that means budgeting a bit differently. The days when a ticket price told you almost everything you needed to know are gone. Today, savvy travelers compare both fare and baggage costs together before clicking buy. In my own recent trips, I’ve found that sometimes a slightly more expensive base fare that includes a checked bag ends up cheaper overall than the lowest‑fare option plus multiple fees.
On This Day 83 Years Ago, 'Oklahoma!' Debuted on Broadway Following Lackluster Reviews: 'No Gags, No Girls, No Chance'
Some musicals instantly land with a splash when they first debut on Broadway, delighting critics and casual audience members alike with its electric dance number, winning scores and often arresting main narrative storylines.
While today it's considered a classic of American theater, Rodgers and Hammerstein's immortal masterpiece Oklahoma! was hardly a success when it first premiered in New York's premier theater district.
In fact, according to early reviews at the time, the hit musical was seen by many as a guaranteed flop in the making.
While it eventually won favorable renown upon its official opening date on March 31, 1943, the earliest iterations of Oklahoma! were far from complimentary.
According to Musicals101, not even Oklahoma!'s original producers seemed all that keen on the overall execution of the show.
At the time, the production was shown under its original title of Away We Go in New Haven, Connecticut, leading to predominantly poor reviews from attendees. Columnist Walter Winchell quoted his secretary dismissive's response with the oft-quoted critique, "No gags, no girls, no chance."
Fortunately, Rodgers and Hammerstein wound up reworking the piece until they were properly satisfied. The resulting musical, now titled Oklahoma!, opened on March 31, 1943 at New York's St. James Theatre.
Despite having no prominent stars in the show's cast list, the production nevertheless earned a positive appraisal from audience members, with many quickly won over by the show's riotous song and dance numbers.
"They were roaring. They were howling. People hadn't seen boys and girls dance like this in so long," Agnes DeMille would recall in Max Wilk's OK: The Story of Oklahoma! "Of course, they had been dancing like this, but just not where the audience could see them!"
Following this successful second act, Oklahoma! would play for five more years on Broadway, concluding its original run in 1948. In the decades since, it's become a hallmark of the Broadway musical scene, leading to several acclaimed revivals starring numerous recognizable actors and actresses.

Target's New Policy Is Causing Quite a Stir—Here’s What You Need to Know
Target has been working on finding ways to win back shoppers, though its latest dress code policy is causing quite a stir.
As part of its image refresh, the retailer is rolling out a stricter and more standardized dress code policy for employees, and while there's no direct impact on customers, plenty have had a lot to say about it.
"Target is focused on getting back to growth, with clear strategic priorities that include elevating the guest experience," company spokesperson Brian Harper-Tibaldo said in a statement. "As part of that focus, we’re continuing to create a more consistent, recognizable in-store experience that delights our guests and helps them easily connect with our team."
In addition to revamping stores and floor plans (literally, the parking lot of our local Super Target is a construction zone), the updated dress code policy requires employees to wear any sleeved red shirt (solid or patterned), the option of a company-provided red vest and minimal non-Target logos (small logos of other brands are acceptable), with no large graphics or writing.
For bottoms, the requirement is for blue denim or khaki pants, shorts or skirts. The previous policy did not require a specific denim color, and it was also much more relaxed about the color and shades of the tops—with maroon and burgundy no longer allowed.
One of the biggest changes is no shorts for team leaders in an effort to lean into "professionalism."
Employees will get one free red shirt and a one-time 50% off coupon for a denim purchase, per the Minneapolis-bsed retailer.
Changes are set to go into effect this summer in July.
The move comes as part of Target's previously announced $2 billion multi-year-strategy, described as the 'largest store transformation in decades,' which puts a focus on busy families.
According to the policy update, the move is necessary to "create a more visible and recognizable presence across the store and help guests quickly and confidently identify team members."
However, employees and shoppers didn't seem convinced, with many speaking out on Reddit and emphasizing that this was never a core issue to begin with.
"Doing everything except actually fixing the numerous problems Target has," one pointed out in the comments, as another emphasized, "I am team black pants. Target isn’t struggling because of the color of TM’s pants. Khaki pants won’t increase visibility when payroll doesn’t allow for adequate staffing."
Another made the point, "When you’re high on the ladder you often forget the lowest rung. A Target battalion in their same color red shirts and khakis/jeans is not going to drive sales or recover a lost segment of shoppers. While I have no gripes, spending this much time on dress code is a waste of time and will not improve moral on the TM side nor customer satisfaction on the guest side."
"Also hard agree on the corporate blindness to the real issues. Give us more hours and equipment that actually works, and I don't mean more AI baloney. It's not hard!!" someone else chimed in.
"I’m sorry, is my red vest with the f---ing target logo, name tag, zebra and walkie on my hip not enough of an indicator that I’m a TM?" one employee questioned.
Another replied, "Guests have never had any problems realizing I’m a Target worker when I’m wearing my dark red shirts! I get stopped every 5 minutes when doing tasks just to help one of them."
Many took issue with the no shorts, stating, "No shorts for TL+ leaders is crazy. We all are working at store level. WE dont need to look professional when we are busting our a-- off trying to run the store!" and "It gets very hot during the summer, and there is no AC. We arent allowed to have fans anywhere in the building besides upstairs. I feel like thats kinda unfair."
The retailer has been trying to find its footing ever since rolling back its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives early last year, additionally putting an end to DEI goals and its “Racial Equity Action & Change” (REACH) program. The backlash and boycotts that followed, along with additional tariffs, caused a decline in sales and foot traffic.
At the end of 2025, Target began rolling out the 10-4 policy, which encourages staff to smile, greet and chat with customers, noting that the focus on customer service is to help shoppers feel appreciated, though this too was met with plenty of complaints from employees and customers alike.
This ‘90s Grammy Winner Just Wished Her Son a Happy Birthday in the Sweetest Way
Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Toni Braxton made a name for herself in the ‘90s with hits like ‘Un-Break My Heart.” But she’s more than an iconic performer. The mega-talented musical celeb is also a mom. And in a poignant Instagram post, Braxton recently wished her son, Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis, a happy 23rd birthday.
Who are Toni Braxton’s children?Braxton has two children—Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis (born December 2001) and Diezel (born March 2003). She shares both sons with ex-husband musician Keri Lewis. Eldest son Denim studied sports management and has modeled. According to an Instagram post, he graduated from college in 2025. Braxton gushed over her son’s accomplishment, writing, “My firstborn is officially a college graduate! Words can’t even express how proud I am of you! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do!”

What has the Grammy Award-winning singer said about motherhood?Being a Grammy winner and a parent isn’t easy. For that matter, working and parenting at the same time isn’t easy. But Braxton manages to do it all. Way back in 2006 (when her kiddos were five and two), she told Today, “It’s hard, I can’t deny it, ‘cause I’m a real hands-on mom, really involved with my kids and their day-to-day activities.”
In 2023, she spoke about her family to fellow celeb mom/singer Jennifer Hudson on The Jennifer Hudson Show, saying, “I’m really excited and proud about them…they’re good kids.”
What did Toni Braxton just post on Instagram? In her recent post, Braxton wished her younger son a happy birthday in the caption, also writing, “Being your mother is one of the greatest gifts I could have ever received. You have changed my life in the best way, and I am so proud of the young man you are and all that you’ve achieved.”

Braxton continued her post, “I know you are destined for amazing things, and I cannot wait to watch all of your dreams come true, especially the day I get to sit in a theater and watch the incredible films you create. Love you always.” Aww!
Legendary Actress Katharine Hepburn’s Breathtaking New York Home Is For Sale—Take a Look
Some homesfeel iconic the moment you see them—like they were always meant for someone larger than life. Even years later, long after their famous owners have moved on, there's still this lingering sense of presence. The kind of place where you can almost picture the conversations that filled the rooms, the daily routines, and the unmistakable energy of someone who left their mark not just on the world, but on the space itself.
That's especially true when it comes to someone like Katharine Hepburn. Her former New York home isn't just another beautiful property hitting the market—it feels like a snapshot of a life lived boldly and unapologetically. The details, architecture and atmosphere all carry a kind of understated elegance that never goes out of style.
It's the kind of home that reminds you great design isn't just about trends; it's about character. And some spaces hold onto that character in a way that feels almost timeless.
View this post on InstagramHepburn's former home sits at 244 East 49th Street and features four bedrooms, three bathrooms and one smaller partial bathroom. But what's even more spectacular, and certainly fitting of a glamorous legend, is the fact that the home also has six (yes, six!) fireplaces, a garden, a Juliette balcony, a wet bar, a wine cellar and a library, among other stunning amenities.
In fact, all four floors of the townhome exude a kind of charm and sophistication that feels classic and modern all at the same time.

How Long Did Hepburn Own This New York Home? The actress lived at her East 49th Street abode for 60 years, according to Mansion Global. She initially purchased it in the 1930s, and enjoyed the space until her death in 2003 at the age of 96. In 2004, Hepburn's estate sold the townhome to its current owner.
The property has been been listed several times over the past few years at a higher price point above $7M, but the seller failed to reach a deal. Now, at $6.195M, it might be the right price to find its new owner. And hopefully it will be someone who appreciates the luxurious abode just as much as Hepburn did.
There are quite a few recently listed homes with celebrity ties on the market, like Lisa Marie Presley's Hawaiian retreat and Drew Barrymore's sprawling estate in New York's Westchester County.
Actress Laverne Cox Says Visibility Isn’t Enough on Trans Day of Visibility
In her Transgender Day of Visibility repost, actress Laverne Cox reiterated a message that feels both urgent and clarifying: Visibility alone isn't enough. It's the quality of that visibility that matters.
Cox's rise in mainstream media helped shift who gets seen—and how. But in this repost—originally posted by nonbinary digital creator, Lelaina Faye, who speaks in the reel—Cox pushes the conversation further, challenging the assumption that simply being visible equates to progress.
Visibility, the post suggests, can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it affirms existence, fosters community, and offers representation for those who rarely see themselves reflected back. On the other hand, however, not all visibility is empowering. Some forms can be exploitative, tokenistic, or even dangerous—especially when trans people are hyper-visible without being protected, respected, or understood.
"'Visibility' isn't neutral," the post reads. "It depends on who's telling the story—and why. A few people speaking up helps. We need more. If you're not trans, this isn't background noise. Pay attention to who benefits from the version of us you're being shown. And when someone starts being weird about us? Say something."
View this post on InstagramCox has long emphasized that increased attention on trans lives doesn't automatically translate into safety, equity, or opportunity. In fact, greater visibility can sometimes make trans people more vulnerable to scrutiny, discrimination, and violence—particularly for those at the intersections of race and class.
She has spoken openly about the conversation consistently being "on the oppressor's terms," and argues that the policies and bans surrounding trans rights have never been about protecting women or children because, if they were, the legal system would prosecute the perpetrators in the Epstein files.
"We have to tell the truth about what is going on right now in the United States of America—it is not right, it is not normal, and we should not allow it to be normalized," she said in her recent GLAAD Awards speech. "Experts are saying that we are on our way to a genocide of trans Americans. What we've seen over the last several years is a strategic, well-funded, calculated effort to dehumanize—systematically dehumanize—transgender people. To make us subhuman in the ways that they speak about us… [It's] designed so that you don't see us as people. You see us as some kind of idea that is meant to come and take something from you."
She emphasizes the criticality of taking back the narrative surrounding the trans community.
View this post on InstagramTo that end, the repost reframes visibility as a starting point, not the goal. What matters is whether representation is nuanced, humanizing, and rooted in dignity instead of stereotypes or sensationalism. It also matters who gets to be visible. Too often, media platforms uplift only a narrow slice of the trans community, leaving the most marginalized voices unheard.
Ultimately, Faye and Cox call for a shift from passive visibility to active support: policies that protect trans rights, storytelling that reflects real complexity, and cultural engagement that goes beyond surface-level inclusion.
In a media landscape that often celebrates representation as progress, the message is a reminder that visibility without intention can (and too often does) fall short. Being seen is powerful. But being seen accurately and fully is what truly moves the needle.
The Perfume Mistake Most People Make Without Realizing It
We learn fragrance application by watching other people—perfume commercials (Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds, anyone?), our mothers getting ready, that gorgeous, elegant woman at the department store counter. The problem? Most of what we've absorbed is either outdated, based on how things look rather than how they actually work, or just plain wrong. Womp-womp. And because these mistakes are so widespread, nobody realizes they're making them. You think you're applying perfume correctly because everyone does it the same way. Right?
Well, the truth is that fragrance is chemistry. Small errors in how you apply, store or wear it can dramatically change how it smells and how long it lasts. What seems like a “not big deal” habit—something you do without thinking for two seconds while getting ready—can be the difference between your perfume lasting eight hours or fading within two. And some mistakes actually damage the fragrance itself, altering the scent permanently so it never smells the way the perfumer intended.
We talked to a fragrance expert about the most common mistakes people make and what to do instead. Some of these might surprise you!
The #1 Most Common Perfume Mistake People Make, According to a Fragrance ExpertIt's something you've probably seen in every perfume commercial—and it's completely wrong.
Savannah Britt, founder of The Fragrance Affair, identifies the culprit immediately: "The biggest fragrance mistake people make without realizing would be applying the perfume to their wrists and rubbing their wrists together after," she tells Parade. "You're not supposed to rub your perfume in because rubbing the perfume breaks down its molecules and as a result the scent won't be as potent and the notes as fragrant."
This is such a common move that it feels instinctive. But every time you rub your wrists together, you're literally crushing the fragrance before it has a chance to develop properly on your skin.

3 Other Common Fragrance Mistakes To Avoid1. Improper storageWhere you store your bottles matters more than you think.
Bathroom storage is one of the biggest mistakes people make. "Avoid storing your perfumes in the bathroom. Steam and heat can alter the scent and accelerate evaporation," Britt warns. That pretty tray on your bathroom counter? Move it to your dresser or closet where temperature and humidity stay consistent.
2. ImpatienceImpatience is another issue.
"Don't judge a scent by its first sniff. Believe it or not, perfumes often get better with time," Britt explains. "Maceration is a process when a perfume's additives age, allowing the perfume's scent to mature and deepen."
That bottle you dismissed after one spray might smell completely different in a few weeks.
3. Disregarding the seasonSeasonal matching matters too.
"Keep it light and citrusy for the day or summer, but save those heavy, woody scents for the cold and evening," Britt advises. The truth is, heat and humidity can make perfume "louder," so a deep scent that feels cozy at night can easily become suffocating in the sun.

Strategic application makes all the difference. First off, timing matters. "Always spray your perfume onto freshly moisturized skin," Britt recommends. Hydrated skin holds fragrance better and helps it project properly.
Think about proximity and interaction. "Don't forget to spray the back of your neck," she adds. "When people lean in for hugs they'll smell the scent accords instantly." It's a more intimate placement than the front of your neck or wrists.
Portability solves the reapplication problem. "Travel size bottles of my favorite perfumes is my cheat code," Britt shares. "It makes it easy to take my scents on the go." That way, you can refresh throughout the day without carrying full-size bottles.

1956 Classic Hit Ranked Among ‘Best Spring Songs’ of All Time Became a Beloved Romance Anthem
Spring is here! Winter has taken its final bow, and with consistently warmer temperatures setting in after a brutally cold season, we're beyond thrilled to enjoy fresh blooms and longer, sunny days (even if it does come with a little rain). To help put us in a cheery mood, we're looking forward to a playlist of tunes with "good vibes" written all over it.
Billboard compiled the ultimate collection of songs to help usher in the new season, and it’s bound to make the perfect soundtrack for those spring cleaning days up ahead, strawberry picking, or bike rides through the park. The iconic music publication’s staff-curated roundup includes 15 of the “Best Songs About Spring Showers, Flowers & Everything in Between,” listed in no particular order. Appropriately, Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong's jazz ballad, "April in Paris," made the cut of quintessential spring staples.
This year, the 1956 classic celebrates its 70th anniversary, and even seven decades after its release, it remains a timeless anthem. The track is dreamy and nostalgic, capturing the feeling of falling in love in a romantic setting while surrounded by the beauty of Paris in springtime.
“I never knew the charm of spring / I never met it face to face / I never knew my heart could sing / I never missed a warm embrace / Till April in Paris, chestnuts in blossom / Holiday tables under the trees / April in Paris, this is a feeling / That no one can ever reprise,” the legendary musicians express.
Released in October 1956 as part of the album Ella and Louis, the charming duet was originally written by Vernon Duke and Yip Harburg for the Broadway musical Walk a Little Faster. A live version of the iconic six-and-a-half-minute rendition was also recorded in July 1957 at the Newport Jazz Festival and released two years later.

NASA Is Sending Astronauts to the Moon for the First Time in 54 Years — Here's How to Watch
History is being made tomorrow and you won't want to miss it.
NASA's Artemis II mission lifts off at 6:24 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 1 from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and you can watch every second of it live on NASA's official YouTube channel, with coverage beginning at 12:50 p.m. ET. There are three available launch windows across April 1, 2, and 3, with Wednesday carrying an 80 percent chance of favorable weather. If the April 1 window holds, it's a go.
So what exactly are we watching? For the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972, NASA is sending a crewed mission toward the moon. The four astronauts aboard will spend 10 days in space, completing two loops around Earth before heading toward the moon—not to land, but to orbit it, testing the technologies NASA needs for future surface missions and, eventually, Mars. The crew will travel more than 280,000 miles from Earth, surpassing the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970.
The mission was originally scheduled for February but was delayed following a hydrogen leak and pressurization issue. NASA also has its sights set on putting boots on the lunar surface by 2028 with Artemis IV.
Commander Reid Wiseman is set to lead the team alongside pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and Canadian mission specialist Jeremy Hansen. Hansen will be the first Canadian, Koch the first woman, and Glover the first Black astronaut to travel to deep space. "It's about human history," Glover said at a March 27 press conference. "It's the story of humanity, not Black history, not women's history, but that it becomes human history."
The crew will also be traveling with a stuffed mascot named Rise, a zero-gravity indicator designed by a second-grader from Mountain View, California. The mascot will float the moment they reach space.
If the April 1 launch goes ahead as planned, the crew splashes down in the Pacific Ocean off San Diego on April 10.
Andy Cohen Addresses Amanda Batula and West Wilson Rumors Ahead of ‘Summer House’ Reunion
Andy Cohenis sharing his thoughts about the rumors that Summer House co-stars West Wilson and Amanda Batula are romantically involved.
During a March 30 interview with Access Hollywood for the premiere ofThe Real Housewives of Rhode Island, Cohen was asked if he believes the rumors have any merit. Cohen responded that he didn't "have any new information about these guys." He told Bravo fans to "keep watching Summer House," which is currently in its 10th season, for more insight. He also noted that the cast will soon come together for the season 10 reunion, which he will moderate.
"I'm seeing everything that's being talked about online and we're, you know, shooting the reunion in a few weeks and I'm sure we'll talk about everything," said Cohen during the Access Hollywood interview.
West Wilson & Kyle Cooke Have Addressed the RumorsPeople magazine reported that the Batula-and-Wilson rumors began circulating in March 2026. Batula and her now-estranged husband, Summer House star Kyle Cooke, announced their separation in January 2026, per People magazine. In addition, Wilson had a romance with his Summer House castmate and Batula's friend, Ciara Miller, for a few months before calling it quits in December 2023.
The publication reported that Wilson addressed the rumors that he wasn't just friends with Batula during the March 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live, hosted by Cohen. Wilson stated that Batula was "a friend."
"That's a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot," said Wilson during the March 24 episode.
Wilson also said that he and Batula "were just hanging out in New York" because he wanted "to show her the streets a little bit."
According to People magazine, Cooke said he didn't believe the rumors during the March 10 episode of Watch What Happens Live. However, he suggested that he would be concerned for Miller on the chance he was proven wrong.
"It would certainly catch me by surprise and it would feel a little reckless. And I think I'd probably be the last person people would be worried about. I think Ciara would probably have something to say," said the 43-year-old in the Watch What Happens Live interview.
He clarified that he would give his blessing if Batula found happiness in a potential relationship with Wilson, who joined the Summer House cast during season 8.
"If it made Amanda happy, I think I just would have to vote yay," said Cooke, who wed Batula in 2021.

Whether you’re there for the zoo, the gardens, the art, or the food, Omaha manages to mix big-city culture with a warm, approachable Midwestern vibe.
Here are a few travel tips for making the most of your trip:
- Plan a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Omaha’s seasons can be varied, so having options like gardens and museums makes the itinerary flexible.
- Give yourself time to stroll. The best experiences in Omaha are the ones you stumble upon, a tucked-away gallery, a shaded park bench, a café with pastries worth lingering over.
- Eat locally and often. Nebraska beef is famous for a reason, and Omaha’s chefs know how to dress it well.
In the end, Omaha proves that you don’t need a coastal skyline or a mountain backdrop to be a world-class travel destination. Sometimes, you just need a world-class zoo, rich cultural hubs, lush gardens, and a great steak dinner to make a city unforgettable.

Blockbuster Film and Iconic Theme Song = Roaring SuccessThe success of Ghostbusters as a blockbuster film has long gone hand-in-hand with the chart-topping theme song, as the rare combo made them both a cultural phenomenon for decades after its June 1984 release.
The supernatural comedy—about a team of scientists who get fired and decide to open up a ghost-busting business, who then "stumble upon a gateway to another dimension" that releases evil upon the city and requires them to save New York from complete destruction—became one of the biggest films of the year, grossing over $290 million worldwide.
In addition to the big names attached to the project, the theme song of the same name by Ray Parker Jr. became a massive hit with its catchy and iconic hook.
It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying there for three weeks, and even scored a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. The single also sees spikes in popularity and airtime every Halloween.
Not only was it a defining '80s blockbuster, it spawed a long-lasting legacy with several sequels and spinoffs, including the most recent release in 2024, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
So, it only makes sense to honor both the film on its 42 anniversary and the iconic music that added to its success and longevity with a live concert experience.
Who ya gunna call to join you for this unique event?
