Ciara Miller Consoled After Amanda Batula–West Wilson Romance Goes Public

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 4:16pm

Ciara Miller was seen today in the Meatpacking District of New York City moments after Amanda Batula and West Wilson went public with their romance.

In an image shared by @deuxmoi on Instagram, the Summer House star can be seen sitting against the concrete wall of a building with her knees up, her arms crossed, and a man squatting in front of her, seemingly offering some kind of comfort or support.

“Bravo 'Summer House's Ciara Miller seen moments after Amanda Batula and West Wilson announced their relationship on Instagram,” the caption reads.

View this post on Instagram

Miller, 30, was linked to Wilson, 31, in Season 8 of the reality TV series. Their romance lasted roughly four months in 2023, with the two splitting after Wilson gave in to newfound attention brought on by the show and fans sliding into his DMs.

In the current 10th season, the two seem to be getting back on track and even entertaining a rekindling, but we see now that will go nowhere.

Today, March 31, Batula, Miller’s former best friend, and Wilson released a joint statement confirming the two are indeed dating.

“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” the statement read. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

The statement continued, “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”

Batula, 34, announced her separation from her husband, Kyle Cooke, 43, who is also a SummerHouse cast member, in January.

“It would have been a very difficult summer to get through without Ciara,” she told Marie Claire earlier this month. “She is one of the kindest, most loving, loyal friends I've ever had. She sends me texts out of the blue, reminding me how strong, powerful, smart, and kind I am—I don’t think she even realizes how much I need those texts.”

According to E! News, Miller appears to have unfollowed her best friend and former boyfriend on social media.

The First-of-Its-Kind Credit Card Every Royal Caribbean Superfan Has Been Waiting For is Here—And It’s Only $99

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 4:15pm

If you’ve ever found yourself wishing your morning coffee run could help pay for that sunset balcony in the Mediterranean, Royal Caribbean Group just handed you the ultimate points tool.

In a first-of-its-kind move for the cruise industry, the company has partnered with Bank of America to launch the Royal ONE and Royal ONE Plus credit cards—and they're made for repeat cruisers who want to level up their next trip. The tri-branded set of cards lets you earn and redeem rewards across the entire Royal Caribbean Group portfolio, including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea.

"Royal ONE and Royal ONE Plus strengthen how we recognize and reward our loyal guests across our leading vacation brands," said Jason Liberty, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. "These new cards bring together the ways our guests vacation across Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea—making it easier to earn and use rewards, so every trip delivers greater value and more meaningful experiences."

For the "Loyal to Royal" superfan, the math on these cards is designed to accelerate your next vacation. The Royal ONE Plus ($99 annual fee) is the heavy hitter of the duo, offering 4X points on all cruise purchases and 2X points on everything from airfare and hotels to your local gas station and EV charging.

The perks are equally high-end, featuring priority suite boarding, priority luggage handling and a $200 anniversary reward that effectively pays for the card twice over. You even get a $120 credit for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, making the trek to the terminal as seamless as the embarkation process.

If you’re looking for a "No-Fee" entry point, the standard Royal ONE card still packs a punch with 3X points on cruise spend and 2X points on everyday essentials like groceries and gas.

Both cards offer a unified redemption experience through the new Royal ONE program, meaning you can earn points while sailing on a family-friendly Royal Caribbean mega-ship and redeem them for a five-star specialty dinner on a boutique Silversea vessel. This flexibility is a direct response to travelers who want to move between brands without losing the value of their loyalty.

This launch is a major pillar in Royal Caribbean’s mission to turn "the vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations." By removing foreign transaction fees and adding Visa Signature travel protections, these cards are built to live in your wallet year-round, not just when you're on deck. Whether you’re saving up for an ultra-luxury expedition or just want to wipe out your onboard drink package bill with points, these new cards turn every swipe into a step closer to the sea.

Target Is Selling the Prettiest Stoneware Drink Pitcher From Joanna Gaines’ Collection

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 4:05pm

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

It's kind of hard to explain just how deep the love for stoneware runs—like, people are really into it. And it isn't something you fully get until one day you catch yourself admiring the weight of a bowl or the subtle variation in a glaze and think, "Wow … this is who I am now." Peak adulthood, unlocked. Stoneware plates hit differently (literally and figuratively). It's the way they feel sturdy but still a little artisanal, the way each piece looks slightly unique, like it has its own personality.

And then there's the durability. This isn't the precious stuff you're afraid to use. It's made to live with you and to handle everyday meals without losing its charm. It somehow manages to feel both elevated and practical.

Which is probably why collections like Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, dreamed up by Joanna Gaines, have such a following. When you combine that timeless stoneware appeal with a thoughtfully designed piece like this Stoneware Beverage Pitcher, it's easy to see why people can't get enough.

The name of the pitcher's colorway is "peace blue," which honestly just makes it even more endearing. And for just $12.99, it feels like an affordable piece that looks like it has heirloom quality.

Keep in mind that this pitcher is small with the ability to hold just 8 ounces of liquid, which is roughly the same amount as your average disposable water bottle. However, I love the idea of carrying a full glass of iced tea out to my patio with a refill at the ready in this small pitcher for lazy days spent outside. Or even just having it filled with water sitting on the dining table in case someone needs their glass topped off.

Target shoppers love this Hearth & Hand piece, but warn that it's important to read the full product description on Target.com so that you're prepared for its small size.

"Perfect for cream or milk," says a reviewer. "It is important to read the description when you purchase something. Giving something a bad review because you didn't read how many ounces it held is really not helpful. It only holds 8 ounces so it's perfect for cream or milk for a cup of tea or coffee. It’s a beautiful addition to your table either for yourself or for company."

It's a great accompaniment for many of Hearth & Hand with Magnolia's other pieces at Target. So even if you can't visit Gaines' Magnolia Silos in Waco, Texas, at least you can feel like the popular market came to your table.

Nancy Sinatra’s Heartfelt Message for Her Late Husband’s Birthday Asks Fans To Ditch a Dangerous Habit

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:58pm

Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of legendary singer Frank Sinatra, is honoring her late husband, Robert Edward “Hugh” Lambert, on what would have been his birthday.

Sinatra, 85, may have been the daughter of music royalty, but she scored tremendous success herself throughout the years with hits like "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" and "Some Velvet Morning." A staple of '60s music, she went on to break barriers by appearing in Playboy at 54 in 1995. But in a new Instagram post, the musical talent shared an important message along with a heartfelt memory of her late husband, whom she married in 1970.

Pictured wrapped in her husband's arms in the photo, Sinatra wrote passionately in the caption about how much she misses him.

"Remembering my late husband, Robert Edward 'Hugh' Lambert, on the anniversary of his birth. Hugh was a truly wonderful man. A talented dancer, choreographer, director, and Broadway actor. More importantly, he was a doting dad and a devoted husband," Sinatra wrote. "Hughie, even after all these years, it still feels strange to celebrate your birthday without you. It’s hard to not be upset that you’re not here with us, because we miss you so much, but I know that you’re looking down on us. We’ll be thinking about you today, a little more than usual. Happy birthday in Heaven, my love. You are forever in my heart."

Nancy Sinatra's Plea to Get Fans to Quit Smoking

Sinatra continued in the post to share an important message about the dangers of smoking, implying that it was the cause of her husband's death in 1985.

"If you are reading this and you’re a smoker, please think about quitting today. And if you’re not a smoker, please don’t pick up the habit. Smoking doesn’t just hurt you, it hurts everyone who loves you," Sinatra said. "My daughters missed out on a lifetime of memories with their dad because of smoking, and my granddaughters were deprived of a loving grandfather, who they will only know through pictures and the stories."

Why Lauren Graham Has Fans Comparing Her to Her ‘Gilmore Girls’ Character Again

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:49pm

Like her Gilmore Girlscounterpart, Lorelai Gilmore, Lauren Graham is a major coffee enthusiast.

People magazine reported that Graham finally revealed the exact way she takes her daily coffee in a March 31 Instagram upload. While standing in a kitchen, Graham joked she's often approached by fans who implore her to "please, tell us your secrets" when it comes to making coffee.

Before she got started using her Phillips coffee machine, she assured fans that this wasn't an advertisement for any of the products used.

She then showed that she likes to drink Dallis Bros Coffee, which was recommended by Ina Garten.

"Talk amongst yourselves," said Graham while her coffee was brewing.

Once her coffee was brewed, she sweetened the drink with a splash of So Delicious Dairy Free French vanilla coconut creamer and whipped cream. Graham finished off the drink with cinnamon and sugar cubes in the shape of a rose.

'Gilmore Girls' Fans Shared Their Thoughts About Lauren Graham's Coffee-Themed Instagram Post

Several fans flocked to the post's comments section to tell Graham that she was acting similarly to Lorelai. Graham starred as Rory Gilmore's (Alexis Bledel) witty mother during the WB show's original seven-season run, until 2007, and the 2016 Netflix four-episode mini series.

"Lorelai would be proud," wrote a commenter.

"Talk amongst yourselves is so Lorelei! I love that we really can’t tell the difference between you & her. Your videos will never get old!" added another.

"You are the best!! Thanks for sharing a bit of you in 'real life'! Lorelei is you!!!" shared a third person.

"Watching this video and all I can think of was Lorelai Gilmore," commented a fan.

"this is so lorelai coded," shared a social media user.

Some commenters also wrote that they believed Lorelai's love interest, diner owner Luke Danes (Scott Patterson), would disapprove of her coffee.

"Luke is internally screaming somewhere on seeing this," commented a Gilmore Girls viewer.

"Luke would complain about the whipped cream," shared another.

Lauren Graham Wants to Return as Lorelai Gilmore

Graham expressed interest in coming back to play Lorelai in an August 2025 interview on The Drew Barrymore Show. She explained that she would like to film a Christmas special, wherein fans can briefly see what their favorite Stars Hollow residents have been up to over the last few years.

"You get to visit your characters and it's holiday and it's sentimental. But it's not like a whole reboot of the whole thing," said Graham in the interview.

She clarified that her Gilmore Girls reunion "idea has been sanctioned by no one."

The One Detail in 'Heated Rivalry' Star Connor Storrie’s Wild New Project Everyone’s Noticing

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:25pm

Connor Storrie is coming to the cabin.

Following his recent success on Saturday Night Live, the Heated Rivalry star is the face of Verizon's new short film, Look Behind You. The nearly five-minute short takes viewers not to the iconic Heated Rivalry cottage, but rather to an eerie cabin where Storrie's backside has become the only thing fans are looking at.

The film begins with an ordinary-looking scene: Storrie enters the secluded cabin and starts cooking dinner. But the ad turns to horror when the stereo, lights and alarm system turn on, seemingly by themselves.

When a rideshare driver approaches Storrie's front door, Storrie looks at his phone and realizes he butt-dialed the ride request — and somehow also butt-dialed the lights and alarm system.

At the end of the ad, the words "the best butt" appear on the screen in bold red letters, followed by "the best network." The ad ends with a closeup of Storrie's glowing phone in his back pocket and the words "there's no escape."

Storrie's Heated Rivalry co-star, Hudson Williams, took to Verizon's Instagram comment section to write, "The screenshots are going in my folder." Within three hours, the comment received nearly 100,000 likes.

Fans can't seem to get enough of the ad, with one user on YouTube commenting, "Connor is among the few people I'd willingly watch a 5 min ad for. HE'S SO GOOD."

Another user joked, "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GO TO THE COTTAGE ALONE!"

"It should be illegal to look that good in a cropped tank," someone else gushed, as another joked, “look behind you”more like “look at your behind."

Storrie said that this collaboration with Verizon was "an incredibly collaborative and creatively fulfilling experience."

"Verizon is a brand that really understands storytelling and culture, so they fully leaned into the idea," Storrie said in a statement, according to Variety. "And working with visionary director Nia DaCosta took everything to another level."

DaCosta is known for her work as the co-creator of the Ghost Tape podcast series, and wrote the screenplays for the 2025 feature film Hedda and 2021's Candyman.

"I had such a great time working with Connor and making this spot for Verizon," DaCosta said. "The team was amazing and we had so much fun bringing this to life."

Gwen Stefani’s Ex-Husband Gavin Rossdale Hints They’re Not on the Same Page With Co-Parenting

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:12pm

Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, are on parallel paths when it comes to co-parenting their three sons.

The Bush frontman, 60, opened up about his dynamic with the No Doubt singer, 56, in a Fox News Digital interview published on Monday, March 30.

“It is an interesting kind of … it’s a two-lane highway, you know, but they don’t ever seem to merge, which is fine,” he told the outlet of his and Stefani’s differing approaches to raising their sons, Kingston, 19, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 12.

Rossdale then elaborated on his “two-lane highway” metaphor, explaining, “Probably doing the best she can, and I’m doing the best I can. And the kids are growing up so I’m a proud proponent of the system. It’s fine.”

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

As for his main goal as a parent, Rossdale aspires not to raise “jerks.” Rather, he hopes his sons grow up to be “likable.”

“I think that if you’ve got kids that are unlikable, they’ve got a tough life ahead,” he noted. “Life is hard enough without being a jerk, without being kind of aware of other people, mindful of other people, considerate of other people, empathetic.”

In order to instill the right values in his kids, Rossdale tries to “show by example,” emphasizing consistency in his relationships and his life.

Rossdale—who is also the father of daughter Daisy Lowe, 37, with Pearl Lowe—and Stefani were married from 2002 to 2016. In 2017, she revealed that she is a stricter parent than she expected to be.

“I was in a band and free my whole life, so I always thought I would be really free with [my kids] and do whatever I wanted, like, ‘Oh, I’ll take them out of school,’” she told People at the time. “But you learn that when they have boundaries is when they feel the safest.”

While Stefani acknowledged that sticking to her disciplinary rules for her kids was “the hardest thing,” she believed “that’s where you get the results.”

After Stefani’s 2015 split from Rossdale, she moved on with now-husband Blake Shelton, whom she wed in 2021. Over the years, the country crooner, 49, has spoken about his role as a stepfather to Stefani’s children.

“I take it very serious. But I also have a blast with it, I’m not gonna lie,” Shelton shared on KFROG’s The Ride With Kimo and Heather in 2021. “I don’t take it so serious that I’m not enjoying this time because I really am, especially now that we’re five years into this thing.”

He added, “I can’t imagine my life without these kids now.”

Shelton even took a break from his career to spend more time with his and Stefani’s family, telling Entertainment Tonight in 2024 that his stepsons changed him “in every possible way.”

“I learned quickly, not because anything happened, but just, you know, reading the room, you’ve really got [to think], ‘I have to take a step back,’” he said. “When people say it’s not about you anymore when you have a kid … I think, if you’re doing it right, it’s not about you anymore.”

This ‘Must-Read Classic’ Novel Is ‘Delightful’ for Spring, According to Goodreads

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:10pm

With flowers starting to bloom, warmer weather on the horizon, and sunsets after 7 p.m., spring is in the air. If you’re looking for the perfect book to get you into the spirit of the season, the 1911 classic novel The Secret Garden is a “delightful read,” say Goodreads users.

Clocking in at just over 300 pages, the book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, who you may know as the author of A Little Princess, tells the story of a young English girl whose life is turned upside down after the death of her parents.

Sent to live with her reclusive uncle in Yorkshire, spoiled Mary Lennox explores the grounds of her new home, discovering a hidden door to an overgrown garden thanks to a helpful robin. She sets out to restore the garden in secret, and in the process helps her sickly cousin Colin heal, and finds joy in life again.

Book vlogger Carolyn Marie Reads placed it on her list of “Must-Read Classic Literature” for spring earlier this month, stating in a YouTube video that it is the “perfect springtime story because we go from the manor and the world outside of the manor, the garden, feeling very dark and gloomy and dead, to being reborn. Not only the garden blooms, but everything in the story blooms: the people, the house. It’s just such a perfect book.”

Goodreads users agree, giving it an average 4.17 out of five stars with a whopping 1.3 million ratings and 35,000 reviews. One reviewer in particular called it “delightful,” pointing out the book’s strong character development and proclaiming, “Charming hearts since 1911, The Secret Garden is a whisper of a dream long remembered and the magic of spring and new beginnings.”

Another five out of five review said, “this was such an amazing, gorgeous and touching book. Mary's story was absolutely compelling to read and I could NOT put it down. The way the garden was described made me want to pick up my shovel and head out to fix things up on my own. And the conclusion of this story? Absolutely perfect.”

Quote of the Day: Steve Perry's Words on Love and Loss Are as Powerful as His Voice

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:10pm

Steve Perry was just a small-town boy who grew up in Hanford, California—the only child of Portuguese-American parents. His dad was a singer and co-owned the local radio station, while his mom was his biggest supporter and fan. He had to navigate his parents' divorce at just seven. "My whole world imploded," he told Classic Rock magazine. "That's when music really saved my life. It was the one place I could go where there was sanity and beauty."

However, Perry's journey to superstardom was never smooth. For years, he bounced between bands. After his bassist was killed in a car accident, he almost quit music altogether. In the aftermath, the "Open Arms" singer returned home to California's Central Valley, heartbroken and ready to give it all up. But his mom wouldn't let him—instead, she pushed him to answer a phone call from the manager of a struggling San Francisco band.

That struggling band was called Journey and that single conversation would change his life forever. With Perry as its frontman, Journey went from a niche group to one of the biggest bands on the planet.

Their songs weren't just smash hits—they transcended generations and became the soundtrack to our lives. But on December 4, 1985, Perry's beloved mother passed away after a neurological illness. Journey was in the final weeks of recording their latest album—Raised on Radio—and had a massive promotional run in advance of its April 1986 release. Four months later, they launched their grueling Raised on Radio tour, which saw them perform more than 70 concerts in less than six months.

The combination of losing his mother, the relentless grind of touring and the pressure of fame completely drained him. "The passion for music had left me," he told AXS. "I rediscovered parts of my life that I completely forgot about. So I was reconnecting with my childhood and actually reconnecting with the loss of my mother...I was afraid that the passion for music would never come back." At the peak of his career, an exhausted and grief-stricken Perry walked away from it all: no music, no interviews, no singing.

However, decades later, one single promise would change everything. And that's why Steve Perry is today's quote of the day.

Quote of the Day by Steve Perry Steve Perry—or 'The Voice' as Jon Bon Jovi famously called him—performs onstage with Journey.

Photo by Chris Walter on Getty Images

"A heart isn't really complete until it's completely broken. And mine was completely broken after I lost her. But that became the good news because from that came joy and songs and ideas."

Perry shared these powerful words in a 2018 NPR interview while discussing the love story that brought him back to music after nearly 25 years of silence. The "her" in this quote is Kellie Nash—a psychologist who was battling Stage 4 breast cancer when they fell in love. Their story is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking in rock and roll history.

Deeper Meaning of Steve Perry's Quote—Finding Joy After Loss Steve Perry poses with his close friend, filmmaker Patty Jenkins.

Photo by Evan Agostini on Getty Images

In 2011, Perry was hanging out with acclaimed filmmaker Patty Jenkins as she edited a project for Lifetime called Five. (The two met and became close friends after Jenkins successfully lobbied to use "Don't Stop Believin'" in 2003's Monster.) Suddenly, a woman appeared onscreen who caught his eye. "Who's that?" he asked her. Jenkins explained that it was Kellie Nash—a Ph.D. psychologist battling cancer. "I said, 'There's something about her. I'd love to send her an email, take her to lunch or something. Is it possible? Just tell her your friend Steve would love to take her to lunch.'"

As Perry tells it, he was on pins and needles for the next two weeks until he got a reply. "I took her to dinner one night and we were inseparable after that," he explained. "I used to tell her, 'I loved you before I met you. I love you now, and I always will.' Because that's what it felt like. It was so familiar."

Sadly, Kellie's cancer was Stage 4. One night, she turned to him and said something that would change his life: "If something ever happens to me, I want you to make one promise. Promise me you won't go back into isolation. If you do, I fear this would all be for naught."

Kellie Nash died on December 14, 2012. But after two years of what Perry described as "serious grieving," something remarkable happened—he kept his promise and started writing music again. The result was his first album in nearly 25 years—2018's Traces—which debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard 200.

"A heart isn't really complete until it's completely broken," he said. It's a powerful reminder that even when your heart is completely shattered, something beautiful can eventually be created with all of the broken pieces. Perry didn't just keep his promise to Kellie—thanks to that promise and the love they shared, he was able to rediscover his passion for music and inspire millions all over again.

Just like he sings in the greatest song of all time, "Don't stop believin', hold on to that feeling." Hold on through loss, hold on through heartbreak and hold on to the love and memories you shared with that person. Because when you do, beautiful things will come.

More Quotes From Steve Perry
  • "You can't embrace your whole life if you're shut down. I found out that I can't just run away and shut down. I'm losing the rest of my life doing that."
  • "I've always been a hopeless romantic. I always wanted love to return."
  • "All of my songs are like children to me. Once you send them out to the world you hope they're strong enough to survive out there."
  • "I forgot what it was like to be in front of people. I had forgotten that this voice I have onstage doesn't belong to me."

This 30-Year-Old Start to a Book Series Is Named the Best Epic Fantasy on Goodreads

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:07pm

Epic fantasy remains popular for many readers. It’s a chance to escape the world that we’re currently in, exploring magic, mythical creatures, and a simpler world without technology. There are many favorites that have created full series, including TheLord of the Rings and The Stormlight Archive, but there is only one book that sits at the top of Goodreads users’ best epic fantasy.

The favorite may surprise many people. After all, this 30-year-old book doesn’t necessarily feel like it’s epic fantasy at first. It takes time to get into the magic and the dragons, but there is always the underlying reminder that certain ice zombies are walking around. Yes, Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin is at the top of users’ lists.

‘Game of Thrones’ Kicks Off a Magical Adventure

Game of Thrones is the first in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, released in August 1996. This saga is nowhere near complete (and nobody knows if it ever will be), and yet, there are people all over the world picking up the books to enter the world of Starks, Lannisters, and Targaryens. In fact, this first book has spawned a whole universe, whether you pick up Fire & Blood or one of the Dunk and Egg stories.

The first novel starts with the titular issue: a game of thrones where people either win or die. Eddard Stark thinks that he can succeed by being a good and loyal man, but loyalty gets you nowhere when it comes to a fight for power.

While he’s dealing with situations in King’s Landing, there is a threat brewing across the seas. A young woman who was just a baby when her family had to flee Westeros is now all grown up, and she has realized that maybe the Iron Throne is rightfully hers.

An Epic Adventure Awaits

The rest of the novels in the saga bring more of the epic fantasy elements. That’s when we really start to get into the world of magic and dragons. The White Walkers become a bigger threat, and the story takes fantastical turns for many characters. So, in a way, it is surprising to see that this first novel is considered the best epic fantasy book.

It’s possibly because of the saga that it created. Not only are there four more books afterward, but there are other novels within the universe. Fire & Blood brings a history of the Targaryens, while The Hedge Knight starts a story of a lowly hedge knight who wants to prove himself as one of the greatest and loyalist knights in the whole of the Seven Kingdoms.

There are graphic novels and a history into the world of Westeros, allowing readers to fully immerse themselves in the world that Martin has created. On top of that, the TV universe continues to grow. While it all started 16 years ago with the risk HBO took to greenlight Game of Thrones, we now have two more shows and other potentials on the way. Maybe it does deserve the best epic fantasy title!

New Details on Tiger Woods' DUI Arrest Revealed in Police Report

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 3:03pm

On March 31, Parade obtained the probable cause affidavit regarding Tiger Woods arrest in connection with his rollover crash on the afternoon of Friday, March 27. The information reveals new details about some of the comments Woods made and what officers observed at the scene before he was taken into custody.

Officer Tatiana Levenar, who submitted the report, wrote that Woods claimed he hadn't noticed that the truck with an attached trailer had slowed down, because "he was looking down at his cell phone and changing the radio station." She also recalled that Woods was "sweating profusely," despite sitting in the backseat of a vehicle with the A/C running prior to the field sobriety test.

"Woods movement was lethargic and slow," Deputy Levenar wrote, while also noting that he seemed "extremely alert during the investigation." The officer noticed that he seemed to be "limping and stumbling to the right," at which point she asked Woods about his medical history. "He's had seven back surgeries and over twenty operations on his leg," Levenar reported.

After he took off his sunglasses, Levenar "observed his eyes to be bloodshot and glassy," and "his pupils to be extremely dilated." Woods also "had hiccups during the entire investigation," but was still very "talkative."

Woods allegedly admitted that he'd taken prescribed medication earlier that day, but didn't say what those were. Levenar stated after he took the field sobriety tests that she "believed that Woods normal faculties were impaired." Later, during a search at the jail, a different deputy found two opioids, identified as Hydrocodone, in Woods' pant pocket. Hydrocodone was one of the drugs found in Woods' system when he was arrested for DUI in 2017.

At the time of Woods' DUI arrest, Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek gave a press conference revealing that the golfer had aced the breathalyzer test. However, "when it came time for us to ask for a urinalysis test, he refused," Budensiek said (via Associated Press). "So he's been charged with DUI and property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test."

A new Florida state law, Trenton's Law, created stricter penalties for impaired driving. "Refusing a urine test in Florida triggers an automatic one-year license suspension and a separate criminal charge," St. Thomas University's dean and professor of law, Tarlika Nunez-Navarro, told WPBF. Even so, Woods may not face anything other than the suspension.

"Florida DUI law requires proof of impairment — not just signs of impairment," Nunez-Navarro said. "Without a urine test, there is no chemical evidence of what substance was in his system or at what level. The prosecution will have to rely entirely on the officer's observations — lethargic appearance, field sobriety test performance — and Woods' lawyers will counter every single one of those observations with his documented medical history."

TMZ Sportsreports he has entered a not guilty plea, retaining Douglas Duncan as his legal representation, who fought his 2017 DUI.

'16 & Pregnant' Alum's Son's Reaction to Her Episode Will Break Your Heart: 'A Hard Watch'

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 2:46pm

At least one good thing has come from the controversial documentary series 16 & Pregnant: Season 2, Episode 2's Nikkole Ledda's (née Paulun) son, Lyle.

While the MTV series, and similar shows like Teen Mom, are abundant in criticism, viewers are applauding the now-31-year-old (possibly 32, as her exact date of birth is not public knowledge), for a job well done in raising her oldest, who is now 16 himself.

Ledda recently sat down with the teen, whose birth was documented on the aforementioned episode of 16 & Pregnant, and allowed him to watch it for the first time, sharing some of his thoughts with her TikTok followers.

"You guys asked for his commentary so here it is 🙈," she captioned the video, which featured the teen's reactions to various scenes. "most [of] the time he was too stunned to speak but he had some things to say as well 😬."

Lyle Was Affronted on His Mother's Behalf

The teen seemed stunned by his father’s behavior throughout the episode, as he often insulted Nikkole's friends, antagonized her throughout the pregnancy and labor, and even went toe-to-toe with her mom in the hospital.

“He’s wilding—why is he so crazy?” Lyle asked at the start of the video, which showcased Nikkole trying on dresses for a school dance. “Why’d you let him bully you?”

But when the time came for Ledda to give birth to Lyle, things got even worse. While she cried into her boyfriend’s shoulder throughout the contraction pain, his cheeks ballooned with stifled laughter, before he said, “I think guys’ pain tolerances are super higher than women’s.”

“Why is he so dense?” Lyle quipped, wondering, “What makes him say that in that moment?”

As the scene went on, he slumped into the couch, adding, “I have no words. It’s a hard watch.”

Before the brief video ended, he called his dad “a walking cliche.”

The couple broke up not long after Lyle's birth, and Josh eventually went to prison on several charges.

Fans Applauded His Emotional Maturity

The social media influencer's followers commended Ledda for Lyle's maturity, telling her, "What a wonderful kid YOU raised!!!"

"'Why you letting him treat you like that?' Awww ❤️you raised a good man," another agreed, while a third emphasized, "The fact he’s more mature then his dad was at that age shows you did a great job raising him 🥰."

"Girl we were ALL so mad at your episode. Watching the literal baby also be mad about it 16 years later is so satisfying hahaha," another admitted.

This 15-Year-Old Novel Is Considered the Best Science Fiction Story of the 21st Century So Far

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 2:43pm

We’re just 26 years into the 21st century, so it’s really just the baby stage, and yet, the list of best fiction from the century is being put together. The list will run from 2000 to 2099, once we get there, and that means there’s plenty of room for this list to change. For now, there is one science fiction novel that sits at the top of the list for Goodreads users.

The list is made up of votes from users, with this particular 15-year-old novel 251,954 with 2,543 votes. With a movie that’s already been made and a sequel, it’s clear that it is one to put on the list, especially if you love 1980s pop culture and technology.

‘Ready Player One’ by Ernest Cline Is the No. 1 Science Fiction Book

The list makes it clear that Ready Player One by Ernest Cline is the one to read. There are some substantial differences between book and movie, making them great companions to each other. While certain elements, such as the ending, are the same, the journey there and the level of detail added into the prose make them both worth experiencing.

Ready Player One is set in the year 2044, where technology has all but taken over. If you don’t get yourself into the virtual world, you’re nothing and you have little access to anything. However, there are still the haves and have-nots, and Wade Watts is one of the have-nots.

Wade is on a mission to work out the puzzles that sit within the OASIS, working out the way its creator’s mind works. As he works out the first clue, he’s suddenly thrust into a world of survival. He has to constantly stay one step ahead if he wants any chance to win the grand prize and change his life forever, while also protecting the nature of OASIS in the first place.

A Fun Romp Into All Things Past

This is the type of novel that works well for fans of nostalgia, especially those who love Back to the Future. It takes us into the 1980s without being set in that time period, bringing everything that was hip and cool, whether it’s TV shows and movies, music, or even the technology of the time.

At the same time, it’s a joyful and quick read. There are high stakes as the story gets into it, and sometimes, it’s hard to see how Wade can get out of the mess that he’s found himself in. With characters meeting in real life, twists to who they choose to be in the online world, and a story of acceptance and accessibility.

With the fun read, it’s not surprising to see that it sits at the top of the list of the best science fiction of the 21st century so far. That doesn’t mean it will always stay there!

Bethenny Frankel Didn’t Expect This Takeaway From Her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Moment

Tue, 03/31/2026 - 2:40pm

Once upon a time, The Golden Girls made your 50s look like wicker furniture, muumuus, and early bedtimes. Now, celebrities like Bethenny Frankel are rewriting the script—turning her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit moment into proof that confidence doesn’t come with an expiration date.

"That's what's going on," Frankel tells Parade about the tidal wave applause coming from Generation X women. "I did not know that would be what would happen from that walk, but there could be no better reaction, like no better group that it hit, so I'm thrilled."

Frankel adds that she "wanted to have fun with" her Sports Illustrated experience and was flattered to be asked. "But the meaning that it had is so much greater because of that," she says. "And it's just great."

She's also reflected on fan questions about what her 15-year-old daughter Bryn, thought of her appearing in the timeless magazine tradition. "The truth is, we didn't have to wonder because I asked her what she thought, and so it was great," she says. "I did that for myself and for women. My daughter loved it, but I don't ask my daughter for permission to be a strong ass woman, and I don't apologize to my daughter for working, and she doesn't ask me to."

But the real takeaway wasn’t the swimsuit; it was the shift in mindset. Frankel says the moment resonated because it pushed back on the idea that women have to maintain perfection 24/7. In reality, she admits she spends most of her time in pajamas, rejecting the pressure to always look “done.” The message? Confidence isn’t about constant upkeep—it’s about showing up when it counts.

“I don’t like this false pretense of people pretending that they look perfect all the time… that’s not realistic,” the 55-year-old entrepreneur explains, as she shares insights into how she’s maintained her approach to health over the years.

View this post on Instagram

Instead of rigid routines, she takes a more flexible approach. “I prioritize sleep before exercise. Sleep comes first,” she says, adding that she’s a “do what you can when you can” person when it comes to fitness. When it comes to food, “I listen to my body” and “I never binge.”

That philosophy extends beyond her routine and into her latest partnership with Yasso. “It’s a nice, healthy, better for you treat," she says, adding, “You’d rather just eat the quality item and then you’re satisfied.” For April Fool’s Day, Yasso is giving away 40,001 Spoonables to fans fooled by “freezer fraud.” Enter at Yasso.com/FoolproofFreezer from March 31 to April 30.
