Who Got Voted Off 'Survivor 50' Tonight? Plus, the New 'Double Duo' Twist Explained

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 8:30pm

The clock is ticking for the cast of Survivor 50. Not necessarily to make a winning move, but to get rid of the super-sized in 26 days! The past month, we've been treated to a double Tribal Council to end the premerge, as well as the infamous "Blood Moon" twist that sent a whopping three people out of the game. But the Survivor gods yearn for more, and they got it this week in yet another brand-new twist. In an instant, the 13 players learned the dangers of who you can be associated with, and the game-ending consequences of being collateral damage

Here's our spoiler-filled recap of tonight's episode of Survivor 50, including who went home.

Who got voted off on Survivor 50 tonight? Chrissy Hofbeck on 'Survivor 50'

Robert Voets/CBS

Chrissy Hofbeck

Chrissy Hofbeck has been itching to rewrite her Survivor story. The Season 35 runner-up felt her game was actively hampered by a last-minute twist and her lack of social connections with her cast. And, after facing a cancer scare, she was ready to prove she had the skills necessary to win the game, and truly prove what a "survivor" means in more ways than one.

Unfortunately, like many people this season, Chrissy found herself falling into old habits, despite being almost a decade removed from Survivor. Her command around camp and compulsory "mothering" her tribe wore thin early on, making her an initial target. Luckily, Chrissy did not attend Tribal Council in the premerge, and by the time the merge hit, she had found solidarity among the old-schoolers. And, with a tepid numbers advantage at the Final 13, Chrissy was feeling good about her chances of going deep again.

That all got thrown out, however, when Chrissy wound up paired with Coach for this week's twist. It was fitting, in a way, a fun culmination of the unique relationship they had on the island. He told her at the swap, in no uncertain terms, to calm down, and that she would have gone home if they went to Tribal Council. She was now urging him to do the same, grounding him in the hammock to avoid getting into more trouble. Unfortunately for Chrissy, the die had been cast. The appeal of getting rid of her and Coach in one fell swoop was too tantalizing to resist. And so, yet again, Chrissy's chance at the win was ended due to a last-minute, never-before-seen twist.

Benjamin 'Coach' Wade on 'Survivor 50'

Robert Voets/CBS

Benjamin "Coach" Wade

The vibes were immaculate on Benjamin "Coach" Wade going into Survivor 50. Old-school players were looking to play with a man who staked his game on honor and integrity. New era players salivated at the idea of interacting with the "Dragon Slayer." And Coach himself proclaimed himself a changed man, someone who was finally ready to play to win. And he immediately proved himself wrong within hours of the game.

Sent to "Fight for Supplies" on Exile Island, Coach immediately mended fences with his old nemesis Ozzy Lusth. But, minutes later, he reopened that wound, spilling more bad blood out when he seemingly snaked the key away from Ozzy's clutches. When word began spreading of Coach's underhanded deed, he loudly proclaimed on the mat that they would be experiencing the same old Coach they were used to — feathers, warts and all. And, for what it's worth, Coach seemed to be in a fantastic position the rest of the premerge. Despite his over-the-top nature, he seemed to make genuine connections with people, making him the surprising social hub going into the merge.

Coach knew the best way to move forward in the individual game was to keep a low profile, especially early on. But it's clear from watching him play over 100 days that that's not who he is at his core. He was feeling as short with Dee Valladares as the haikus he was writing, and decided to lead the charge to go after her. The only problem was, while he fashioned himself the "general," the others weren't entirely happy being his troops. So it was no surprise, after running around the beach like a madman the previous day, his name was in many people's mouths come the next vote. As much as Coach tried to ground himself (literally), his game lived and died in the hammock. He had incidentally conducted his own swan song, taking him and Chrissy out of the game.

Were any idols or advantages found or played on Survivor 50 tonight?

Yes! Coach played his Shot in the Dark for both him and Chrissy, perhaps a clear sign that they knew the writing was on the wall. But the bigger item of interest (and perhaps the reason why the vote was so open-and-shut) is because of a fake idol. Rick Devens planted a package at Tribal Council all the way back in the second episode, hoping to save it for a rainy day. And things were quite cloudy going into the vote, and he knew he and Aubry Bracco were in danger for being the "middle people." So Rick took their name off the chopping block, grabbing his planted idol and claiming it was a real one. While Rick was able to get away with not playing it this time, we'll see if the jig will be up eventually, and what fallout that will entail.

What is the "Double Duo" twist on Survivor?

Near the beginning of the episode, a boat pulled up to camp with instructions: Divide into six pairs, however you see fit. At the challenge, Jeff Probst explained that each player's destiny would be tied to their partner's in the brand-new "Double Duo" twist. For this round, while each pair would vote as individuals, they essentially operated as a unit. They won immunity together, they played advantages together. And yes, they went home together. For the first time in Survivor history, two players would be voted out at the same time, as a duo.

Additionally, Cirie Fields was chosen to be the odd person out. As a result, she was sent to Exile Island, where she was given a needle-in-a-haystack task. If she succeeded, she would be able to come back to camp, be immune from the vote, and have a say at that night's Tribal Council. If she failed, she would miss out on the vote, and have to stay overnight on Exile. Fortunately, the legendary player was able to persevere, allowing her to participate in a key vote.

1984 No. 1 Breakup Anthem Revived Iconic Queen of Rock's Career

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 8:06pm

You know a song is a major hit when it ends up inspiring a blockbuster movie of the same name. Of course, 1993's What's Love Got to Do With It is really about the singer of that song, the incomparable "Queen of Rock & Roll" herself, Tina Turner. But since "What's Love Got to Do With It" was the track that both revived and redefined Turner's career, the name of the film couldn't be more appropriate.

“What’s Love Got to Do With It,” spent three weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 following its 1984 debut, and a whopping 28 weeks on the charts overall. It went on to win three Grammys for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. But as Turner revealed in the 2021 HBO documentary Tina, she initially didn't want to sing the song. In fact, she thought it was "terrible."

"Did you know that when I first read the lyrics for 'What’s love got to do with it,' I rejected the song?" Turner wrote in an Instagram post about the doc. "Crazy to think about that now. Hearing the song in the documentary 'TINA' was one of the most touching moments for me in the movie. It reminded me how far I’ve come."

View this post on Instagram

Interestingly enough, Turner wasn't the first one to reject "What's Love Got to Do With It." Before that, Cliff Richard and Donna Summer also passed on the song, which was written by Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, according to Rolling Stone. (RS ranked "What's Love Got to Do With It" at #134 on the publication's list of "500 Greatest Songs of All Time," calling it "one of the great comebacks in rock history.")

Turner was at a low point in her career before the song came along; she'd been dropped by her record label and her marriage to Ike Turner had recently ended after years of domestic abuse, as chronicled in the movie.

After David Bowie, who was also signed to Capitol, helped get Turner re-signed in 1983, she released her fifth solo album, Private Dancer, featuring "What's Love Got to Do With It." Thus began a "new, triumphant phase of her career," as TIME put it.

Indeed, while What's Love Got to Do With It" was Turner's first and only #1 hit, she went on to have four more top 10 hits over the next two years, and continues to be considered a legend years after her death in 2023.

1963 Timeless Classic Was a No. 1 Hit Song 63 Years Ago Today

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:56pm

Sixty-three years ago today, a song sung by a teenage girl took over the music world and made history. “I Will Follow Him,” recorded by Little Peggy March, climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April 1963 and stayed there for three weeks.

The achievement turned the then-15-year-old singer into the youngest female artist ever to top the chart—a record that still stands today.

The song’s success was not limited to the United States. It reached No. 1 in multiple countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Hong Kong. It also topped the Billboard Hot R&B Singles chart, making March the first white female solo artist to do so. Even decades later, the track remains one of the most recognizable hits of the early 1960s.

Originally, the tune was not even a vocal song. It began as an instrumental called “Chariot,” first recorded in 1961 by French bandleader Franck Pourcel. The music was co-written by Pourcel and fellow composer Paul Mauriat. Later, English lyrics were added by Norman Gimbel, transforming it into the version that would become a global hit.

Little Peggy March recorded her version on Jan. 7, 1963, at RCA Victor Studio A in New York City. The song was released just weeks later, on Jan. 22, and quickly gained attention. By April 1963, it had reached No. 1 in the United States.

The recording process itself was not simple. The final version came together after multiple takes, with the ninth take becoming the official release. Backed by “Wind Up Doll” as its B-side, the single captured audiences with its strong melody and emotional lyrics about devotion.

The song’s chart success extended across the globe. It hit No. 1 in several countries and ranked highly in others, including No. 5 in the Philippines and No. 2 in Finland. In year-end charts, it placed among the top songs of 1963 in both the United States and South Africa.

It also received major industry recognition. “I Will Follow Him” was nominated for the 1964 Grammy Award for Best Rock and Roll Recording, further cementing its place in music history.

Peggy March, born Margaret Annemarie Battavio, was just 15 years old when the song topped the charts. She had been discovered at age 13 while singing at a family wedding and quickly signed to a record deal. Her nickname, “Little Peggy March,” came from her young age, small height and birth month.

Her rise to fame was fast and historic. With “I Will Follow Him,” she set a record as the youngest female artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, a milestone that has remained unbeaten for more than six decades.

Despite the song’s massive success, her early career came with challenges. Because she was a minor, financial control was placed in the hands of her manager. Years later, it was revealed that most of her earnings had been lost, leaving her with only a small amount from her biggest hit.

Still, March continued her music career, especially in Europe, where she found lasting success throughout the 1960s and 1970s. While some in the United States labeled her a one-hit wonder, her international career told a different story.

Over the years, “I Will Follow Him” has continued to live on through covers, films, and performances. One of its most famous modern appearances came in the 1992 film Sister Act, where it was performed in a gospel style during the film’s finale.

More than six decades after its release, the song remains a symbol of early pop music and youthful energy. Its simple message, catchy melody and historic achievement continue to connect with listeners across generations.

Best-Selling Author’s Novel Named Among ‘Best Books of All Time’

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:51pm

It's hard to think of many other novels that have blended science fiction and comedy as memorably as The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The bestselling work by Douglas Adams has been named among the "best books of all time" on Goodreads, based on votes from readers. The recognition highlights the novel's enduring popularity and its unique place in literary history.

First published in 1979, the story follows Arthur Dent, an ordinary man whose life is turned upside down when Earth is suddenly destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass. Rescued by his friend Ford Prefect, who turns out to be an alien, Arthur is thrust into a wildly unpredictable journey across the galaxy. Along the way, he encounters an unforgettable cast of characters, including the eccentric Zaphod Beeblebrox and the perpetually depressed robot Marvin.

"I get into terribly depressed states, and a lot of Marvin's actual lines come from occasions like that,' Adams said in a 1979 interview. "There's a certain amount of me in there."

Known for its sharp humor, absurdist tone and philosophical undertones, the novel has become a cult classic, inspiring generations of readers with its imaginative storytelling and iconic lines.

"I'm rather obsessed with the idea of that comet coming down and it being the single event to which we owe our very existence," Adams told Daily Nexusin 2001, reflecting on his inspiration for the story. "It is arguably the single most dramatic thing to have ever occurred in the world and certainly the one that was the most dramatic event in our lives, in that it paved the way for our existence, and no one was there to see it."

The book was later adapted into the film The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, released in 2005, introducing the story to a new audience. The adaptation captured much of the original's quirky spirit, further expanding its cultural reach.

Tragically, Adams did not live to see the film's release. The author passed away in 2001 at the age of 49, leaving behind a legacy that continues to influence both science fiction and comedy.

More than four decades after its debut, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy remains a favorite among readers worldwide.

With its inclusion in Goodreads' ranking, the novel stands as a testament to the enduring power of humor, imagination and storytelling that dares to be delightfully unconventional.

Color Psychologist Says if Your Favorite Color Is Blue, You Likely Have These 7 Traits

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:41pm

Think fast: What's your favorite color? If you said blue, you're probably not alone. A few years ago, the BBC reported that, after looking at non-scientific Crayola surveys of children and peer-reviewed studies, they could conclude blue is the world's favorite color. It's understandable. Some research suggests that our color preference is linked to our experience with the hue, and who doesn't adore blue skies and a day by the ocean?

Interestingly, though, one color psychologist notes that we often don't put much thought into why we gravitate toward a specific color.

"Color preference is one of the most honest things about a person because most people have never been told it means anything," states Michelle Lewis, a color psychology expert, certified color analyst, author and the founder of ColorAnalysis.com and The Color Institute. "They've never been asked to defend it or even be aware of it. It's just theirs."

Lewis thinks quite a bit about color preference for a living. And even though our favorite colors are our own, she does say people's favorite colors are often linked to certain traits, which is surprising to many.

"When I explain what their favorite color says about how they're wired, the reaction is almost always the same: they go quiet for a second and then say, 'How did you know that?'" she reports. "It's one of the most reliable ways I've found to help people feel genuinely seen. Not because color is magic, but because it reflects something real about how your nervous system orients to the world."

Blue is all over the world—from the sea to the sky. What does it mean if your favorite color is blue? Lewis shares that people whose favorite color is blue often have these seven traits (and a few challenges).

Related: These 3 Favorite Colors Are Often Linked to Emotional Intelligence, According to a Color Analyst

What Is Color Psychology?

"Color psychology is the study of how color affects human behavior, emotion and decision-making," Lewis explains.

Lewis reports that we don't give much thought to color psychology (unless it's our job to!).

"It operates largely beneath our conscious awareness," she points out. "We don't decide to feel calmer in a blue room or more energized in a red one. It just happens."

In her work, she makes the science of color practical. She seeks to help people understand not just how color affects us but how they can intentionally use it to bolster the life they want to build.

What Is the Personality of People Who Like Blue?

Lewis describes blue lovers as "the thinkers of the color world."

"They tend to be intelligent, measured and deeply introspective," she states.

She notes that someone who likes blue is often the "person in the room who has already thought three steps ahead but won't say so until they're sure.

"They value calm, clarity and honest communication above almost everything else, and they bring a quiet steadiness to every space they inhabit," Lewis adds.

Related: 7 Signs You Have a Deep Winter Color Palette, According to a Color Analyst

What Is the Psychology of Loving Blue?

Lewis calls blue "the color of the mind."

"It slows the heart rate, lowers blood pressure and creates the mental conditions that blue lovers crave most: space to think, room to process and an atmosphere free from unnecessary noise," she shares.

Indeed, research links natural blue spaces to better mental and physical health.

"When someone is drawn to blue, they are drawn to the feeling it produces—that rare sense of being fully level," she reports. "Blue in the environment isn't decoration for these people—it's regulation. It's how they stay themselves."

7 Traits of People Whose Favorite Color Is Blue, According to a Color Psychologist 1. They're deeply intelligent

Lewis shares that blue lovers are often the most intellectually curious people in their orbit.

"The color blue has long been associated with the mind and cognitive function," she says. "It activates focus without overstimulation. The people drawn to it tend to reflect that orientation. They don't just collect information; they process it, turn it over and look for what's underneath."

2. They're introspective

If you gravitate toward blue, Lewis says you are probably someone who spends a ton of time in your own head—and you don't view that as a problem to fix.

"You may even be the most introspective person in your social group, the one who notices things others walk past," she notes. "This inner orientation is what makes blue lovers such perceptive friends and colleagues: they see more because they look more carefully."

3. Calm under pressure

Deadlines or tense moments in work meetings won't make a blue lover sweat (at least not on the side).

"Blue lovers are rarely the ones escalating a situation," Lewis says. "They are wired for de-escalation—not because they don't feel things deeply, but because they genuinely prefer calm."

She says people whose favorite color is blue usually work through their emotional response internally before anyone even notices they had one.

"Their steadiness isn't indifference—it's mastery," she adds.

Related: The Aesthetic Color Scheme You Radiate, Per Your Birth Date

4. They're thoughtful communicators

Blue lovers have a filter and consistently think before they say something.

"They are not impulsive conversationalists," Lewis says. "They are deliberate ones. This makes them extraordinarily trustworthy, because when a blue lover tells you something, they mean it. They've already considered it from multiple angles before it even left their mouth."

Related: If You Commonly Use These 7 Phrases, You’re More Emotionally Intelligent Than You Might Realize, According to a Psychologist

5. They're loyal and dependable

TikTokers may call these traits "Golden Retriever energy."

"Blue lovers maintain relationships built on clear communication and mutual respect with remarkable ease, and they maintain them for a long time," Lewis explains. "Hot-headed, unpredictable energy tends to push them away. What keeps them is consistency. Once you've earned the trust of someone whose favorite color is blue, you have something worth holding onto."

6. They're private

Blue lovers don't share every trait of someone who has "Golden Retreiver energy," though.

"There is a reserve to blue lovers that can read as cool or distant, but it isn't," Lewis says. "It's considered. They don't share everything with everyone."

She explains this reserve isn't about hiding.

"They believe some things deserve to be protected," she notes. "They choose their confidants carefully, and those people are extraordinarily lucky."

7. They're principled

"Blue lovers have a strong internal compass," Lewis shares.

The compass is steady to boot. She explains that trends, peer pressure or the loudest voice in the room won't easily sway a person who likes blue.

"They know what they think," she states. "They know why they think, and they are willing to sit quietly with an unpopular position rather than abandon it for the sake of social ease. This makes them some of the most trustworthy people you'll ever meet."

3 Potential Challenges Faced by People Who Love Blue1. Their actions and emotions might get misread

Lewis shares that the same traits that steady blue lovers can work against them in a society that often hands out figurative trophies for loudness.

"Their preference for calm and deliberation can be misread as aloofness, disinterest or even arrogance, particularly in fast-moving environments where quick emotional expressiveness is the norm," she states. "Blue lovers don't always telegraph warmth in the ways others expect, and relationships can suffer before the other person realizes how deeply the blue lover actually cares."

2. Their need for clear communication can also become a liability

Not every moment of life involves clarity.

"When situations are messy, ambiguous or emotionally volatile—as life often is—blue lovers can struggle," Lewis says. "They may pull back from conflict rather than move through it, which can leave important things unsaid and distances unaddressed."

3. There is also a risk of over-intellectualizing

While some people try to escape from their own heads, blue fans may escape to it.

"Blue lovers are so comfortable in the mind that they can sometimes use thinking as a way to avoid feeling," Lewis says. "The very intelligence that is their greatest gift can become a buffer between them and the kind of emotional depth that sustains long-term intimacy."

Final Takeaways

Color psychology studies human behavior, emotion and decision-making. Certain colors, like blue, may affect your personality. Here's what to keep in mind.

  • Blue is a calming color. People may be drawn to blue because it helps calm them physically and mentally. Research suggests it may lower heart rate, blood pressure and stress.
  • People who love blue often share certain traits. Lewis says people who love blue are often introspective, dependable, calm under pressure and deeply intelligent. It makes them thoughtful and intentional friends, colleagues and partners.
  • Blue lovers may face challenges. She says that the need for clear communication can be unrealistic at times because life is messy. Blue fans' reserved nature may get mistaken for standoffish, and they may spend a bit too much time in their own heads instead of feeling their feelings.

Will the 'Scrubs' Revival Return for Season 2?

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:36pm

With modern television having a seemingly endless horizon, everything old is new again. Hit shows of the '70s, '80s, '90s and 2000s have seen a boon of reboots and revivals in the past decade, bringing classic characters into our modern times. And one of the most successful has been Scrubs.

Bill Lawrence has certainly kept busy since the hit medical sitcom went off the air, going on to create critically acclaimed shows like Ted Lasso and Shrinking. But fans were elated to here that he, along with Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke would be scrubbing back into Sacred Heart for another season of Scrubs. The nine-episode revival has earned wide acclaim, and clearly the stars have relished the time getting back into their career-making roles.

So the question is: Is this a one-and-done revival, or could we see a second season of the Scrubs revival? Here's everything we know so far.

Is the Scrubs revival returning for Season 2?

There's been no announcement as to whether we'll get another season of the Scrubs revival.

Who is in the cast of the Scrubs revival Season 2?

We should expect Braff, Faison and Chalke to all be back if there were to be a Season 2 of the revival. But one actor from the original show has indicated, if there was a renewal, there would be much more of his character at Sacred Heart: John C. McGinley's Dr. Cox.

"I think that Cox will come back a lot more in Season 2," he tells Deadline. "There’s been a big outcry, that’s very flattering. But I also think structurally, I was sharing this with a friend of mine the other day. I don’t know if you remember [literary professor] Joe Campbell and his exploration of myth and the structure of myth."

"I think Zach’s character as the hero in this three-act tale," he continues. "As it pertains to Joe Campbell, the hero needs consequences and a threat and jeopardy. And without Ken Jenkins and not enough of the Janitor, it falls on; the threat would be failure with the interns this season, and that’s great. But he needs a threat, he needs consequence. There has to be jeopardy, and that jeopardy is Cox, however Billy writes it. I think Cox will be more thickly woven into the tapestry of Season 2. I’m completely speculating."

When would a Season 2 of the Scrubs revival be released?

Since the Scrubs revival hasn't officially been renewed for Season 2, it has yet to film. Given production, as well as post-production, we wouldn't expect more Scrubs to arrive on our screens until 2027 at the earliest.

What will happen in Season 2 of the Scrubs revival?

Of course, one of the big changes going into the revival is the divorce of J.D. and Elliott. And, as Braff said in an interview with TVLine, a possible Season 2 would focus more on developing the new form of their relationship.

"They're settling into a friendship," he says. "Of course, it's still hard. Everyone who's had this experience knows you can still go, 'This isn't right, we aren't compatible,' but it still hurts your heart when you see them flirting with someone. And that's going to be tricky for them. Their friendship is going to continue to evolve, because they both really respect each other as doctors and as parents."

"We didn't get to the kids just because we didn't have the bandwidth," he continues. "But there will be more of that. Some couples get divorced and they hate each other, and then some couples get divorced and, because they're co-parents, learn how to be good friends. That's the direction we're going to head with it."

Is there a trailer for Season 2 of the Scrubs revival?

If the Scrubs revival gets renewed, we'll get a trailer closer to the premiere. Stay tuned!

Savannah Guthrie Leaves 'Today' Mid- Show Sparking Questions About a Possible Nancy Guthrie Update

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:33pm

On Wednesday, April 15, rumors that Savannah Guthrie left set mid-show on Today surfaced online.

Parade has reached out to Today for comment but has not yet heard back.

According to OK! Magazine, Guthrie seemed as though she was about to interview Anne Hathaway on this morning's live broadcast. In a clip shared on social media, Savannah appears to introduce the Mother Mary star before Today went to commercial. After the commercial, Savannah's co-anchor Hoda Kotb was doing the interview. Savannah returned to set shortly after, according to social media users.

It's entirely possible that this was planned by production, but some viewers thought it was strange.

It didn't take long for questions to pop up on X, with many people finding the rumored switch up peculiar. Some people wondered if Guthrie stepped away because she'd received an update about her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1.

"Definitely strange, and odd to return for the last minute, unless just trying to not let on to anyone," one person wrote on X.

"That’s strange! Maybe she got a call and was going to leave after the last set?" someone else suggested.

TikTok users also commented on the rumor.

"She came back for those that actually watched the entire show," one person wrote, seemingly confirming the videos that were circulating online.

"She didn’t leave, she just wasn’t present for one segment. It’s not unusual for just one of the cohost to do a one-on-one interview with a guest. In today’s show it was Hoda who interviewed Anne Hathaway. Last week, Craig Melvin did a solo interview with another celebrity," someone else said.

Savannah returned to Today on Monday, April 6, after two months in Arizona with her family following her mom's disappearance. A source told the Daily Mail that producers at the show have a key phrase to say if there's a call for Savannah involving an update on her mom. Per the source, Savannah would be told that she's "needed off set."

"We would pull her immediately, mid-segment if we had to," the source told the outlet. "She knows if one of the producers tells her she’s ‘needed off set’ that there’s a development. She would understand that there was news about her mom and we’d take her into an office and tell her, at the same time that another anchor would report it as a breaking story."

At the time of this writing, there haven't been any new updates in the Nancy Guthrie case. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

'American Pie' Bombshell, 52, Announces 'Sexy' New Career Move

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:29pm

One of the hottest It-Girls of the late '90s and early 2000s is launching a steamy new project, and longtime fans might just be surprised by the announcement. On April 15, American Pie beauty Shannon Elizabeth revealed her plans to launch an OnlyFans account, where subscribers will see "a more sexy side" of the 52-year-old actress.

“I've spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career," the Scary Movie star told People. "This new chapter is about changing that, showing off a more sexy side no one has seen, and being closer to my fans."

The Love, Actuallybombshell explained that she chose OnlyFans specifically because she wanted to "connect directly with my audience, create on my own terms, and just be free." She added that she thinks this kind of direct celebrity-fan connection is "the future," and plans to kick the page off on April 16.

Her OnlyFans bio describes her as an actress and storyteller who is "a little mischievous." She said fans can expect to find "the side of [her] that doesn’t make it into movies—more playful, spontaneous, and completely unscripted" on the page, and that content will include "behind-the-scenes moments" and "exclusive photos and videos," plus insight into what she's "really like" and the ability to chat with her directly.

While Elizabeth didn't discuss whether or not her content will be explicit in any way, she did recently tell Entertainment Tonight that she's "not the girl who likes to be naked," despite her sultry demeanor in many of her films.

“Even at home I'm always covered up,” she added. “Like I have friends that sleep in the nude and they don't mind walking around that way. That was never me, but because that was kind of my coming out, everyone assumed I was that girl.”

Elizabeth first grabbed attention in the 1999 comedy, where she played a dazzling foreign exchange student named Nadia. Elizabeth reunited with her American Pie castmates, Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, and Chris Klein, for the first time in over a decade in a 2025 episode of Biggs' TBS show Dinner and a Movie.

Ryan Gosling Can't Stop Adoring Deidre Hall From 'Days of Our Lives'

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:21pm

Last month, in case you missed it, Project Hail Mary actor Ryan Gosling publicly professed his complete and utter professional admiration for actress Deidre Hall from Days of Our Lives. His bold "Deidre appreciation" went viral and prompted a whole online back and forth compliment exchange between the two actors. Turns out, Gosling isn't done yet, as Hall just received a stunning "wall of flowers" from the actor.

The whole respect-a-thon came pretty much out of nowhere when a podcaster asked Gosling what TV shows inspired him. As if he'd been thinking about it for years, Gosling jumped right into praising soap opera stars, saying they don't get the recognition they deserve for the hard work they do. He couldn't say enough about Days of Our Lives, specifically the actress who plays Dr. Marlena Evans on the show, Deidre Hall.

Related: Ryan Gosling and Beloved ‘Days of Our Lives' Star: The Cordial Lovefest We Never Want to End

Hall soon got word about Gosling's compliment through the grapevine. She openly thanked him and invited him to visit the Days of Our Lives set, and Gosling graciously accepted.

But it appears Ryan Gosling isn't done adoring Deidre Hall yet.

In fact, Hall just posted selfie next to a very large bouquet of flowers on Instagram with the following message to Gosling: "Ryan, just when I thought I couldn’t feel more adored… your ‘wall’ of flowers arrived. Unnecessary, but greatly appreciated."

(Are those saucer peonies? Well played, Mr. Gosling)

View this post on Instagram

What's going to happen next in this fun little exchange?

Will Ryan Gosling take time out of his busy movie star career to visit the still visit the Days of Our Lives set? Will he appear in an episode? Or is this a consolation prize? And does it seem like Deidre Hall is over it anyway? She does have a million lines to memorize by tomorrow, so we can see why, if so.

On the other hand, we hope this keeps going on and on and on.

Amaya Espinal entered the Love Island villa on Day 5, quickly becoming a fan favorite. Her bubbly personality won over the American audience and she affectionately became known as ‘Amaya Papaya’.

After multiple pairings, she ultimately coupled up with one of the Casa Amor boys, Bryan Arenales, and the pair was crowned the winner of Love Island USA Season 7.

Since the finale, Espinal revealed she and Arenales have split. In a teaser for Beyond the Villa, she admits, “I finally told him that I love him, and he broke up with me over text.” The season will watch as Espinal navigates her first post-breakup interaction with Arenales as well as how she is adjusting to life, being a winner, outside of the villa.

Despite remaining in a relationship with Williams, the trailer for Beyond the Villa reveals Carraway is considering a move to Los Angeles, a decision that appears to be causing significant tension between her and Williams.

Professional basketball player Chris Seely entered Casa Amor on Day 17 exploring a connection with Chelley Bissainthe. However after Casa Amor came to a close, he then began exploring a connection with Huda Mustafa.

The two partnered up, and made it to finale, but in a Love Island first, the couple broke up during their final date, before being receiving third place by the American public.

Since leaving the Villa, Seely competed on Love Island Games where he was partnered with Kay Kay Jones, but was quickly eliminated from the competition.

New Refrigerated Find at Costco Is a Cookie Lover’s Dream

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:08pm

There’s nothing quite like a fresh-baked cookie straight from the oven. The gooey centers, the buttery crumb, that just-warm texture that makes it nearly impossible to stop at one.

That’s exactly why refrigerated cookie dough has such a loyal following. It delivers that same fresh-from-the-oven payoff without all the work in the kitchen, making it an easy grab for busy days, last-minute desserts, or when a craving hits out of nowhere.

Even better, Costco has a new refrigerated find that makes things even tastier. A Pillsbury variety pack brings three flavors together in one box.

You can see it in this recent TikTok from @costcoexperts:

@costcoexperts

Not gonna lie… this might be the most dangerous Costco find yet 👀🍪 3 flavors in one box — Reese’s Pieces, Oreo, and classic chocolate chip… @Pillsbury #costco #costcofinds #costcotiktok #cookies

The pack includes Reese’s Pieces Peanut ButterOreo, and Classic Chocolate Chip.

Each box includes 3 dozen cookies, 12 of each flavor, priced at $8.79. It’s a mix that pairs a classic with a couple of more indulgent options, all in one grab-and-go package that works for everything from a quick dessert to sharing with a crowd.

Related: New Bakery Drop at Costco Is an Easy Dinner Win

While Pillsbury has released cookie variety packs before, this specific combination is getting fresh attention, with @costcoexperts noting “this might be the most dangerous Costco find yet.”

Costco’s Pillsbury Cookie Dough Pack Makes Baking Simple

Each flavor follows the same easy, ready-to-bake format that Pillsbury is known for. There’s no mixing or measuring required; just place the dough on a cookie sheet and bake for warm cookies in minutes.

The flavors themselves add variety to the lineup. The Reese’s Pieces version leans into peanut butter with mini candies mixed throughout, while the Oreo option folds in those chocolate cookie pieces. Classic chocolate chip rounds things out as a familiar option.

Another detail that stands out is that these have a “safe to eat raw” seal on the packaging. That means you can either bake them as directed or enjoy the dough straight from the fridge, which is a big plus for anyone who prefers their cookies uncooked.

Between the three flavors, the ready-to-bake convenience, and the flexibility to enjoy them either way, it’s an easy addition to keep on hand when you want something warm and sweet without all the mess.

1986 Hit Film Ranked Among ‘Best Action Movies of All Time’

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:07pm

A 1986 sci-fi sequel has once again proven its lasting power. The film Aliens has been ranked No. 4 on a new list of the “75 Best Action Movies of All Time.”

Nearly four decades after its release, the movie continues to stand tall among modern blockbusters, thanks to its intense action, strong storytelling, and unforgettable lead character.

The ranking proved that Aliens transformed its franchise. Directed by James Cameron, the sequel took a bold step away from the slower, horror-focused tone of the original 1979 film and leaned heavily into action.

This shift helped redefine what a sequel could be: bigger, louder and more emotionally gripping without losing its core identity. According to Collider, the film stands out for how it “builds well and has perfect pacing,” with tension rising steadily until its explosive final act.

At the heart of the story is Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley, the lone survivor of a deadly alien attack. In Aliens, Ripley returns to the nightmare she barely escaped. When a colony on a distant moon suddenly goes silent, she joins a group of Colonial Marines to investigate. What they find is far worse than expected: an overwhelming alien threat that pushes them to the edge of survival.

What makes Aliens special is how it balances action with character. The film does not rush into chaos. Instead, it carefully builds tension. Viewers get to know the soldiers, their fears and their strengths before the real danger begins.

Ripley herself is a major reason for the film’s success. She is not just a fighter, she is a protector. Her bond with a young survivor named Newt adds heart to the story.

Before Aliens, the original Alien was known for its slow, suspenseful horror. Cameron’s sequel expanded the universe. It introduced the Colonial Marines, added deeper backstory and increased the scale of the threat. Instead of one creature, audiences now faced an entire hive.

When Aliens premiered on July 18, 1986, it was met with strong reviews and audience excitement. Critics praised its action and performances, especially Weaver’s.

The film earned multiple award nominations, including a rare Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for a sci-fi role. It also became one of the highest-grossing films of its year, earning over $130 million worldwide.

Today, its placement among the top action movies of all time is not surprising.

The older I get, the more I understand the appeal of a cute, matching pajama set. Like, what happened to the days of throwing on a random oversized T-shirt and whatever sweats were closest? Don't get me wrong—I'll never fully abandon that life. But a coordinated set just feels put together in a way I didn't know I needed.

It's giving grown-up energy, even if the rest of the day says otherwise. And slipping into matching pajamas makes the whole nighttime routine feel a little more planned out, as if I'm actually setting myself up for a good night's sleep (or at least a more stylish one). Even if I'm just binge-watching something and scrolling my phone, I feel elevated.

Old Navy customers love this sweet little set for both its feel and its style.

"Perfect sleep set," beams one reviewer. "Comfy and cute! True to size and did not shrink when washed and dried."

Another shopper is so smitten, she's stocking up.

"I just love these," she wrote. "They're the most comfortable pjs. I will be ordering in all the other colors!"

One shopper recommended opting for the "tall" sizing option, even if you normally wear regular, to give you a little more length in the top and shorts. But that is, of course, a personal preference—so go with your heart.

1978 Romantic Soft Rock Hit Is Making a Major Comeback After 48 Years

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 7:01pm

It used to be that a song's status as an enduring classic was measured by radio play and record sales, but since the advent of streaming and social media, there are more ways than ever for hit tunes to keep getting rediscovered by new generations of fans.

One timeless track that's made a major comeback recently via TikTok is the 1978 Bee Gees classic, "More Than a Woman." The romantic track was written by brothers Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb for the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, which featured two versions of the song — one by the Bee Gees and a cover version by the R&B group Tavares. While it was never released as a single, "More Than a Woman" nevertheless went on to become one of the Bee Gees' most beloved songs of all time...and it just keeps getting more popular.

According to Ultimate Guitar, "More Than a Woman" started trending on TikTok in late 2025, with the official Bee Gees website reporting "hundreds of thousands of new videos on TikTok made with its audio," including a recent remix by British musician SG Lewis.

Why is "More Than a Woman" such a perfect fit for social media? The upbeat vibe and romantic lyrics probably have something to do with it:

"Here in your arms I found my paradise / My only chance for happiness / And if I lose you now, I think I would die / Oh, say you'll always be my baby, we can make it shine / We can take forever, just a minute at a time"

While the song was written by all three Gibb brothers, it's a fitting representation of Barry's long and successful marriage to his wife, Linda Gray Gibb. Married in 1970, the couple went on to welcome five children and they're still going strong all these years later.

"Linda, along with me, has seen everything you can see if you’re a pop group on the rise," Barry told The Roxborogh Report in 2012.

Barry Gibb, Linda Gray (later Gibb)

Photo by Reg Burkett on Getty Images

"She never missed anything and that’s something to take great comfort from. We can talk to each other about any single instance in our lives and what happened to the group and she was there. We share all that and we’ve got five wonderful children and we’ve got six wonderful grandchildren so what can you ask for."

Barry went on to call his wife "a tower of strength."

"And she’s always right behind me and she’s either going to give me a tap on the head or a kick up the ass. And both of those things work! Because she will say, 'You know you’ve gotta get yourself together, you’ve gotta pull yourself out of this and you’ve gotta get into your music and you’ve gotta get back into what you were doing, no matter what.'"

In other words, Linda has been "more than a woman" to Barry...she's been a lifelong inspiraton.

The set is made of a steel frame with rattan material and polyester cushions. The chairs feature wide seats with thick beige cushions and armrests so that you can sit comfortably. The table is both functional and sleek, because it serves as a centerpiece and as a practical storage piece. You can place items in the open compartment on the bottom and use the tempered glass table top for food and beverages.

There are suction cups underneath the glass that hold it in place to ensure that items placed on top remain stable. Plus, the set can be used in indoor or outdoor settings. You can easily clean the rattan with a damp cloth and the cushion covers are removable so you can place them in the washer. Reviewers say that this "excellent" patio set is "well worth it," as it's "perfect" for a small patio.

'Beyond the Gates' Renewed For Two Seasons

Wed, 04/15/2026 - 6:58pm

It’s official! CBS has renewed Beyond the Gates for two additional seasons, extending the network’s newest daytime drama.

The series, currently in its second season, will now run through the 2027-2028 season, taking it into its forth year on the air.

Beyond the Gates Marks the first new U.S. daytime soap opera launch in more than 20 years and is notable for featuring a predominantly Black cast in an hour-long daytime format, following the half hour soap opera Generations on NBC back in 1990.

CBS officially describes Beyond the Gates as a soap opera that is “set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington, D.C., in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States; a posh gated community with winding tree-lined streets and luxurious mansions to call home. At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty. But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those who live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where our characters live, love, work and play. Those who have “made it” and those who haven’t are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others.

The series was created by Michelle Val Jean and executive produced alongside Sheila Ducksworth.

Beyond The Gates is developed and produced by CBS Studios and the NAACP in partnership with P&G Studios a division of Procter and Gamble.

The series features a large ensemble cast anchored by the Dupree family, including patriarch Clifton Davis (Vernon Dupree),and matriarch Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree), and their children played by Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree), and Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole Richardson), and their respective families.
