Madonna Will Tour Again Following Coachella Performance with Sabrina Carpenter

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 4:13pm

The Queen of Pop will be back on tour.

Madonna's manager confirmed the pop icon will be touring again following her surprise appearance at Sabrina Carpenter's Coachella set.

In an interview with Variety, on Saturday, April 18, Guy Oseary spoke about the possibility of Madonna touring again.

Variety shared their article on social media with the headline, "Madonna's Manager Guy Oseary 'Not Sure' She'll Tour Again Following Sabrina Carpenter Coachella Performance and 'Confessions II' Release." Oseary then took to this Instagram story to clarify what he meant.

"Not true. I was asked 'are we going to see her on tour.' I said 'not sure yet.' I never said 'not sure she'll tour again,' that's ridiculous. Of course she will tour again. She wants to share her music with fans. Not sure yet the plans. Stay tuned!" he wrote on Instagram.

Variety has since updated their quote from Oseary to read, "I'm not sure yet." When the publication asked if he would like to see Madonna on tour again, he said, “I want to see her happy so whatever makes her happy, I’m all there.”

The last time Madonna went on tour was her Celebration Tour that ran from Oct. 2023 to May 2024.

The artist surprised fans during the second weekend of Coachella to perform "Vogue" and "Like a Prayer" with Carpenter. The two then performed a song that appeared to be from Madonna's upcoming album Confessions II. Madonna's last appearance at Coachella was in 2015 when she made an appearance duringDrake's headlining set.

Confessions II will release on July 3.

Josh Hutcherson Doubles Down on Taylor Swift Shade After ‘Eras Tour’ Controversy

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 4:11pm

The backlash to Josh Hutcherson’s past comments about Taylor Swift did not change his opinion of the superstar.

After previously inciting controversy for saying he’s not a fan of Swift, 36, despite attending her sold-out Eras Tour as a VIP, the Hunger Games actor, 33, addressed the ordeal in a GQ interview published on Monday, April 20.

“I got some heat because I did a photo shoot with [I Love LA co-star Jordan Firstman], and Jordan asked me something about being a [Taylor Swift fan], and I was like, ‘Oh no, I’m definitely not a Swiftie,’” Hutcherson recalled to the outlet. “All of a sudden, it garnered this [reaction of], ‘F--k him! He’s a monster! Destroy him! He’s short! He hates her because he’s short!’”

Although Hutcherson didn’t mean to insult the Grammy winner, he reiterated that he’s not a Swiftie.

“It’s just like, ‘Whoa!’ I think she’s great,” he added. “Her music is not my kind of music.”

Of the negativity surrounding the incident, Hutcherson explained, “This is why I don’t want to be online. I don’t need that energy.”

Hutcherson’s response to the controversy comes four months after his comments about Swift made headlines in December 2025. During a game of camera roll roulette for i-D magazine, Firstman, 34, showed Hutcherson a photo of himself and his mother at an Eras Tour concert as Hutcherson insisted, “My mom made me.”

When Firstman asked whether his co-star is a fan of Swift, Hutcherson replied, “I’m not a Swiftie. Very much not. No shade, all respect, but definitely not.”

“A little tiny shade,” Firstman joked. “She can handle a little bit of shade.”

Hutcherson ultimately relented, “A little bit of shade.”

Hutcherson’s remarks upset some Swifties as they took to social media at the time to express their disappointment.

“This is the most pathetic and two-faced thing I’ve seen multiple celebs do: act all high and mighty, pretending they’re above liking her and her music, but then kissing her ass when they meet her or attend her concerts,” one person wrote via X. “She’s too nice in a world full of asshole celebs.”

Another individual posted, “I guess he went to the Eras Tour just for some attention then since he’s not getting it from his roles.”

Despite the backlash, others defended Hutcherson, claiming that he didn’t intend to offend with his statements.

“Josh Hutcherson literally says in the video that he went for his mother,” one X user noted. “Just because he’s not a Swiftie, it doesn’t mean he didn’t have a good time or enjoy himself still.”

Hutcherson is one of many celebrities who attended Swift’s Eras Tour during its record-breaking 149-show run across five continents from March 2023 to December 2024. He was spotted exchanging friendship bracelets with fans while sitting in the VIP section at one of her October 2024 concerts in New Orleans.

Floyd shared a photo on Instagram taken on the DiMera living room set. The image features a portrait of the family’s late patriarch, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), prominently displayed at the center.

The backrow of the photo included Kristen Blake-DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Stefano’s adopted daughter and Tony’s ex-wife, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) the last original member of the family, and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) the widow of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Throughout their time on the series, the DiMera family has been at the center of many of Days of Our Lives’ most iconic storylines, from Andre DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) involvement in the Salem Slasher arc to Stefano’s long running rivalries with Salem residents. The family’s mix of power, romance, and drama has kept fans engaged for decades.

Floyd recently stepped into the role of Chad DiMera, taking over from Billy Flynn. Flynn exited the role in early 2025, though due to the show’s advance filming schedule, his final scenes aired on February 17, 2026. Following his departure, Flynn joined fellow Sony soap opera The Young and the Restless as Cane Ashby.

Floyd, meanwhile, previously appeared on The Young and the Restless, where he portrayed Chance Chancellor, before joining Days of Our Lives as Chad.

Floyd makes his debut as Chad DiMera on April 21, 2026.

This Genius IKEA Cutting Board Is About to Elevate Your Next Pizza Night—Here's How

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 4:05pm

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Pizza night is basically a sacred ritual in my house. Every Friday, no questions asked—and sometimes we squeeze in a bonus night when the week feels especially chaotic and no one has the energy to cook. It's the one meal everyone agrees on, which feels like a minor miracle.

But while the pizza itself is always a win, the slicing? That's where things go off the rails. You'd think cutting a pie into even slices would be simple, but somehow it turns into a full-blown debate among my three kids. Someone always ends up with the "bigger" piece, someone else claims theirs is mostly crust, and the next thing you know, I'm refereeing a pizza-based courtroom drama. Enough already.

HAVSTULPAN Bamboo Cutting board, $9.99 at IKEA

IKEA

I mean, I know how to slice a pizza, but getting each piece perfectly equal every single time? Apparently, that's the bar, and until recently, I was failing spectacularly. That is, until I stumbled across a genius little IKEA find for just $9.99 that might actually restore order to pizza night—meet the HAVSTULPAN cutting board.

Related: Costco's 2-Pack of Ombre Towels Brings a Gradient Glow-Up to Your Bathroom

At first glance, it just looks like a really nice, rustic wooden board with a super warm, natural vibe. But then you realize it's basically a multitasker. One side is perfect for serving pizza (which, as previously mentioned, in my house is crucial), and you just follow the grooves for those ideal, equal slices. And then you can flip it over and use the other side as a legit cutting board when you're prepping dinner.

It's made of solid bamboo, so it feels sturdy but still gentle on your knives, which I appreciate because I've definitely ruined a blade or two in my day. There's also a subtle groove around the edge that catches any juices, so you're not dealing with a mess dripping onto your counter. This might be a small detail, but it's actually a big win.

In the end, I'll probably end up using it just as much for snacks as anything else. It totally doubles as a serving board for cheese or charcuterie when you're feeling a little fancy.

Here's where I need to be super duper clear, though—this board does need a little TLC. You'll really need to oil it now and then to keep it in good shape. And you have to hand-wash it. But for something this versatile, that feels like a fair trade.

You Can No Longer Camp or Park at This National Park

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:59pm

If you’ve been dreaming of a beach camping trip along California’s Central Coast, you may need to adjust your plans. One of the state’s most unique outdoor destinations, Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area, has implemented a major new restriction that’s changing how visitors experience the area.

What’s Changed

A recent federal court ruling has temporarily banned camping and off-road vehicle use in large portions of Oceano Dunes. The closure specifically impacts areas south of Arroyo Grande Creek, which have historically been popular for beach camping and driving directly on the sand.

This means visitors can no longer park vehicles on the beach or camp in those restricted zones, or at least for now. Reservations have been canceled, and access is limited while officials work through the next steps.

However, it’s not a full shutdown. Some day-use access and limited vehicle entry are still allowed north of the creek, though capacity is being capped.

Why the Rule Is in Place

The new restrictions aren’t random and stem from environmental concerns and legal requirements under the Endangered Species Act. At the center of the issue is the western snowy plover, a small shorebird that nests in the dunes. A federal judge ruled that off-road vehicles and recreational activities were putting the species at risk and violating federal protections.

Specifically, the court found that California State Parks had been allowing vehicle access without obtaining what’s known as an “incidental take permit,” which is required when protected wildlife could be harmed unintentionally.

While conservation efforts have helped the snowy plover population grow over the years, vehicles continue to cause habitat damage and bird deaths.  The closure will remain in effect until the state completes a habitat conservation plan and secures the necessary federal permits, a process that has been years in the making.

Why This Matters for Travelers

Oceano Dunes is one of the only places in California where you could legally drive on the beach and camp right on the sand. That unique experience has drawn millions of visitors annually and made it a bucket-list destination for road trippers, RV travelers, and off-roading enthusiasts. Now, that signature experience is largely off-limits, at least temporarily.

For travelers, this means fewer access points, stricter rules, and greater planning. If you show up expecting to camp on the beach like in years past, you could be turned away.

How to Still Make the Most of a Visit

The good news: Oceano Dunes and the surrounding areas still offer plenty to explore.

  • Stick to open areas: While the southern portion is closed, areas north of Arroyo Grande Creek remain open for limited day use. Arrive early, as visitor caps may restrict entry.
  • Explore nearby beaches: Check out nearby coastal stretches like Pismo State Beach, where you can still enjoy classic beach activities like walking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.
  • Go beyond off-roading: Even without vehicle access, the dunes are a beautiful place for hiking, photography, and birdwatching. The landscape itself, which is part of the larger Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes, is one of the most unique coastal ecosystems in the state.
  • Book alternative camping: Look for nearby campgrounds or RV parks in the Pismo Beach and Oceano area. You’ll still be close to the coast, even if you can’t camp directly on the sand.
  • Stay updated before you go: This situation is evolving. Officials expect the park to eventually reopen more fully once permits are secured, but timelines are uncertain. Always check current conditions before heading out.

The changes at Oceano Dunes highlight a growing reality in travel: balancing recreation with environmental protection. While the loss of beach camping and driving is disappointing for many, the goal is to preserve a fragile ecosystem and protect a threatened species.

If you’re flexible and plan ahead, you can still enjoy everything this stunning stretch of California coastline has to offer, just in a slightly different way than before.

Mountain Dew Is Getting a Fresh New Look for Summer 2026

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:58pm

Mountain Dew is about to look different, at least for a little while.

The iconic PepsiCo brand has been leaning into nostalgia lately, adopting its original "Mountain Dew" branding in 2024 and waving goodbye to the "Mtn Dew" packaging it debuted in 2009. Then, a short while later, it teamed up with Market Designs to drop a limited collection of '90s-inspired merch. Now, it's taking fans back to "where it all started."

On Monday, Mountain Dew announced the debut of its limited-edition "American Dew," which will be released nationwide ahead of the upcoming summer season.

While early rumors suggested this would be the return of White Out, Parade confirmed that's not actually the case. According to an official description shared in an email, the limited-time offer features the same Mountain Dew fans know and love, but with a refreshed look honoring its Tennessee roots—one that's heading out just in time for the United States' 250th birthday.

‘60s Supermodel Twiggy, 76, and ‘The Nanny’ Legend Fran Drescher, 68, Are Having an Epic Hangout

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:44pm

'60s supermodel legend Twiggy and The Nanny star Fran Drescher looked incredible while hanging out in London.

Twiggy, 76, who is known as Dame Lesley Lawson in real life, hit the fast track with her trademark short hair and long lashes during the swinging ’60s. While her memorable haircut has long since left the building, the blonde beauty still looks incredible.

Drescher, 68, had small roles in films like Saturday Night Fever and This is Spinal Tap, but became a household name thanks to her role on The Nanny as Fran Fine, a Jewish nanny from Flushing, Queens, who rules the roost for a ritzy family in New York City. The series, which ran from 1993 to 1999, became a family favorite in America and continues to live on in reruns. Now, the dynamic duo is hanging out together, and they're both absolute beauties.

"In London with my dear friend the one and only Twiggy!" Drescher captioned her photo, which showed the two sitting at a restaurant table together.

How Did Twiggy Get That Legendary Haircut?

Back in 2020, Twiggy made an appearance on Jessie Ware’s Table Manners and opened up about how she came to have that iconic cut, which she originally didn’t want in the first place. Too intimidated to turn down British stylist Leonard Lewis, she acquiesced.

“I went in to have it shampooed and set and Leonard saw me and he said, ‘Let me do my new haircut on you,’” Twiggy told Ware during the podcast, PEOPLE reported.

“I’d been growing my hair,” she explained. “For a moment, I kind of went, ‘I don’t know whether I want my hair cut.’ But I was in this very posh salon in Mayfair, so I was a bit too shy to say I don’t want it done, and I kind of nodded.”

Twiggy returned the next day and was there for seven hours to undergo the cut and color. When a photographer took a few snaps of her, Lewis hung the photos in the salon.

“Leonard put it up in the salon, and a journalist saw it,” Twiggy said. “That’s how it all happened… When that haircut started, when that photograph was taken, that was the pivotal moment.”

On her Instagram page, Twiggy occasionally posts throwback photos of herself with the fan-favorite cut.

You would have to be living under a rock to be missing the Fran Drescher renaissance! A former SAG-AFTRA president and cancer survivor, the living legend just scored major acclaim for her role as Timothée Chalamet‘s mother in Marty Supreme, the story of a table tennis player named Marty Mauser who attempts to become a champion of the sport in the ’50s.

'Seinfeld' Star Who Couldn't 'Spare a Square' Makes Rare Appearance—Now Worth $8B She Can Spare a Whole Roll

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:42pm

If you've ever wondered what happened to the eccentric woman who denied Elaine Benes toilet paper in one ofSeinfeld's most memorable and iconic bathroom scenes, here's your long answer short: she's worth $8 billion now. That’s not a typo.

Recently, Jami Gertz made a rare public appearance at LACMA's opening gala in Los Angeles. And, while any sighting of this notoriously private '80s icon does tend to make waves, it's the net worth attached to her name that really makes people want to know how she did it.

Eight. Billion. Dollars.

It’s ironic that the same actress who played someone too cheap to "spare a square" in that 1994 Seinfeld episode could now, buy an entire toilet paper company ( or three) without thinking twice.

@officialseinfeldtv

Can you spare a moment to watch this classic scene? Can you spare a stare? Check your local listings. #bathroomhumor #julialouisdreyfus #throwbacksitcoms

♬ original sound - Seinfeld

For anyone who spent their formative years in a movie theater during the '80s, Gertz's face is definitely more recognizable than her name might. She was literally everywhere back then. The Lost Boys? That was her as Star, the mysterious half-vampire caught between Kiefer Sutherland and Jason Patric. Less Than Zero? She played the concerned girlfriend who was desperately trying to save Robert Downey Jr.'s character from his downward spiral, alongside Andrew McCarthy. She was also in Crossroads, Quicksilver, and later showed up in the massive 1996 disaster film Twister with Helen Hunt.

Related: 'Back to the Future' Star Refused to 'Fight Over Scraps' - What She Did Instead

TV fans knew her from a completely different set of roles—Square Pegs, The Facts of Life (as Blair's friend Boots St. Clair), ER, Ally McBeal, and a solid run on HBO's Entourage. She even headlined ABC's The Neighbors for a couple of seasons in the early 2010s.

But, acting money alone doesn't get you to billionaire status, even if you’ve got decades-long career. So what happened?

Jami Gertz Built Her Fortune Through Smart Investments and Sports Team Ownership

Here's where things get really fascinating. Gertz married private equity investor Tony Ressler back in 1989, but—and this is important—she's been clear that she was actually out-earning him when they first got together in the '80s. She wasn't chasing clout. She had her own money and her own leverage.

What they did together, though, was build something much bigger. It started with strategic investments, followed by long-term/ big picture thinking and eventually, sports team ownership.

The couple is part of the ownership group that bought the Milwaukee Brewers. In 2015, they became the majority owners of the Atlanta Hawks. Those aren't just vanity purchases—they bought these as assets that appreciate, generate revenue, and ultimately cement their legacy wealth.

🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Between those moves and years of smart financial decisions most actors never make, Gertz is now sitting on a fortune that dwarfs what most of Hollywood's A-list has accumulated. She’s wealthier than Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, andJennifer Lopez—not just individually, but all three combined.

She got her start very young. She was discovered through a nationwide talent search by legendary producer, Norman Lear, then, she studied drama at NYU. Her first real acting break was a small role in Endless Love alongside Tom Cruise and Brooke Shieldsin 1981. She even did a single episode of Diff'rent Strokes with Andrew Dice Clay when she was still a kid.

These days, Gertz keeps a pretty lowkey existance. She and Ressler have four beautiful children—three sons and a daughter—and she's, for the most part, stepped away from the limelight. Thursday's LACMA event was one of the rare exceptions.

But every so often, she surfaces to remind everyone that the woman who wouldn't spare a square ended up being able to buy the whole aisle.

Nancy Sinatra Outraged by Donald Trump’s Post About Frank Sinatra

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:37pm

Nancy Sinatra took to X in response to the president’s post of her father, FrankSinatra, writing, “This is a sacrilege.”

On Saturday, April 18, DonaldTrump shared a video of Frank Sinatra performing "My Way" on Truth Social. The clip was from a performance at Madison Square Garden in 1974.

A fan shared the post with Sinatra on X, writing, “Omg, @NancySinatra will not be happy about this. Trump goes against everything that Frank stood for. He was a big champion for equality and supported the Civil Rights movement.”

Another X user asked Sinatra if she could prevent Trump from posting her late father, to which she replied, “Unfortunately no. The only people who can do something are the publishers.”

On Sunday, April 19, Sinatra reposted a tweet that read “Trump may love Sinatra, but Sinatra did not love Trump.”

1991 Hit Film Ranked Among ‘Best Movies of All Time’

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:30pm

In 1991, Disney released what would become one of its most iconic films that would go on to redefine animated storytelling.

Beauty and the Beast has since been ranked among the best movies of all time by Rotten Tomatoes, a testament to its enduring charm, artistry and emotional depth.

The film, based a French fairy tale called La Belle et la Bête written in 1740 by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, follows Belle, a young woman who finds herself in the enchanted castle of a cursed prince. As she gets to know the Beast, she begins to see beyond his frightening exterior, uncovering a story about love, transformation and acceptance. Blending romance, music and fantasy, the film quickly became a standout of Disney's animation renaissance.

Among its many memorable elements is the performance of Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Potts. Her warm, comforting voice brought a sense of heart to the film, most notably through her rendition of the title song, "Beauty and the Beast." The performance became one of the film's most iconic moments, adding emotional depth to a story already rich with feeling. Lansbury's delivery helped elevate the song into a timeless classic, reinforcing the film's central message about love and kindness.

"I remember the day we were in the recording studio with the amazing Broadway singers in the background chorus and the amazing [New York Philharmonic] orchestra, Paige O'Hard, who voiced Belle, said in 2016. "And then Ms. Lansbury — who I have admired my whole life — came in after being up all night [...] and was a trooper. We were all worried she would be too exhausted and then she comes out and sings 'Beauty and the Beast' in one take."

At a 25th anniversary celebration of the film, Lansbury surprised and delighted fans with a performance of the song. Her voice was as beautiful, warm and loving as ever.

Beauty and the Beast was both a critical and commercial success, famously becoming the first animated film ever nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. Its music, animation and storytelling set a new standard for the genre. It also won other two Academy Awards, one for Best Original Song for "Beauty and the Beast," and another for Best Original Score.

More than three decades later, the film remains a cornerstone of Disney's legacy, beloved by audiences of all ages.

With its inclusion on Rotten Tomatoes' list, Beauty and the Beast stands as a timeless classic, a film that continues to captivate with its unforgettable characters, music and message.

'American Idol’s Kyndal Inskeep Opens Up About Her Toughest Night Yet — And How She’s Bouncing Back (Exclusive)

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:22pm

When the 2026 American Idol Platinum Tickets were awarded this season on the singing competition, it wasn’t judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie who issued them as in the past, but they were voted on by three categories of attendees: audience members, peers, and industry tastemakers, and Kyndal Inskeep won the latter.

Earning that Platinum Ticket made the 29-year-old singer/songwriter from Fishers, IN, one of this season’s frontrunners. And she really hasn’t disappointed since, except for a blip last week when she lost her voice.

She had had a mentoring session with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo as she tried to decide between two songs for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night: Janice Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart” and The Police’s “Message in a Bottle.” Benatar wanted Kyndal to sing “Message in a Bottle,” but she opted for “Piece of My Heart” because the lyrics rang true to where she was at that moment in time.

“When I went into mentoring, the choices were very close,” Kyndal exclusively tells Parade. “It's hard not to look at comments, it's hard not to dive deep into what people are feeling about you and saying about you. I felt like I really needed to take it up a notch and I think a part of me strayed away from me being, I don't want to say authentic because ‘Piece of My Heart’ is authentic to me as well in a different way.”

Normally, there would have been no problem with the Joplin song, except that last Monday, Kyndal lost her voice and that song was the more challenging of the two. Halfway through it she glitched, causing the judges to comment on it, especially Carrie, who said, “You gave up on yourself towards the end,” before adding, “Your voice is amazing.”

“Hindsight is 20/20,” Kyndal admits. “I probably should have gone with ‘Message in a Bottle.’ I love that song. It's amazing. I love The Police. Sting is a huge influence in my life, and I decided to take it a step higher, so naturally my voice gives out the week of Janis Joplin.”

This week, the Top 9 will be performing songs from the Disney catalog, and when we spoke to Kyndal, she told us her voice was fine, and she was ready to go. She wasn’t allowed to tell us which song she chose, but why.

“The song this week just feels like this could be a song that I would have had in my own catalog, and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to sing it,” Kyndal says. “I have such a heart for it and I'm really excited to sing it.”

Check out more of our conversation with the American Idol Platinum Ticket holder below.

As one of the contestants who's been performing the longest, because you are 29, do you think that that gives you more confidence than maybe some of the younger ones? Does it help you when you do have problems like you did last week?
I think that regardless of age, this journey is very intense. And it continues to grow in intensity as we go because there's more of a chance that you would be in the finale, and so there's all these factors that come into play. I think being a seasoned artist, it definitely helps. I think in the in the beginning rounds, it was very much like “I'm very comfortable with what I do. I love this. This is my passion. This is what I've always wanted to do and let's have fun with it,” and so yeah, I don't think that there's necessarily a difference because of age, but I think with things like this, where I was the one that lost her voice and had that moment, I think that I do have the tools to step up to the plate and to hit it and do what I do.

This is the last year you were eligible for American Idol. Is that why you auditioned now? Why not when you were younger?
So, this opportunity has actually presented itself to me quite a few times, and there was always just like a knowing in my spirit of not yet, not yet, not yet. I got to do really cool things, like go on tour and write music and sing and all the things. This year, specifically,  of course, age had to play into it because this would be the last year I could do it, but it was just the yes year of, “Let's go for it. Let's see what happens and have fun.”

Not only was it the "yes year," but there was another woman who auditioned, and she auditioned with one of your songs. How crazy was that?
Talk about divine timing. Her name is Lainey Grace. She's 16. I had no idea that that was going to happen at all and what a beautiful way to start off the season -- just so intimate for me, so affirming for me.  It kind of just checked the box of “Yep this is exactly where you're supposed to be. Keep going,” so really cool.

As a singer-songwriter instead of just a singer, how hard is it to find cover songs that speak to you and then be able to perform them. Especially this week, coming up is Disney night, and those tend to be more pop songs?
Being completely candid, the themes have thrown me off a bit, because it's a challenge. There's been a selection of ‘90s songs, a selection of rock'n'roll songs, and a selection of Disney songs, and I think that it has stretched me in a way where I want to bring my artistry to everything that I sing. It is a challenge though. It is very much a challenge of “OK what is going to scream Kyndal,” but also, it's stretching me as an artist and a songwriter because I can now mold into these characters, if you will, and unlock parts of myself that I may not have unlocked yet.

Are the vocal coaches able to help you come up with arrangements that do work for your style?
Oh, my gosh! So, I work very closely with Justin and Felicia on the show, and they've just been amazing. They've just acknowledged my artistry so much, and so we'll sit down, and it's like a little mini writing session. We'll strip it back on the guitar. That's cool, that's cool, that's cool, and we just come up with really cool arrangements.

Kyndal Inskeep

Disney/Eric McCandless

What has surprised you most about the competition that you had no idea going into it might happen?
That I'm this far is really cool. It's really, really awesome. I'm really grateful for that. I think that has thrown me for a loop for sure, of “OK, this is what happens when you…" Also, I promised myself that I would be 1000 percent myself throughout this whole thing, not put on a show. What you see on camera is who I am off camera and that vulnerability is scary sometimes because you're not going to be everybody's cup of tea. You just aren't, so just seeing the support and the encouragement, I feel like I'm finding my people, my little tribe, that's following along everywhere.

How much are you able to incorporate the judge's comments, and do you find them to be helpful?
Of course. I love the insight of the professionals that sit and watch us every week because they do this -- and they do this on a scale that I see myself doing this one day -- and they know what it's like.

Also, Carrie Underwood having already been on the show is amazing because I think there's this special bond that happens between contestants when you're on a show like this, because only you guys really know what really happens, what plays into the whole production of everything. I feel like the judges have definitely given me really great insight throughout the season, and I really cling to that.

Even last week, Carrie saying, “You know you gave up at the end,” and just the defeat all over my face, it struck me and it was hard to palate. But at the same time, I'm taking that piece of advice this week and no matter what happens, I'm going to do my thing. I think that was an insecurity thing. It was like, “Oh, my gosh, this is happening, and I just got in my head. I will face the crowd at this point. We're there.

Win or not, talk about what your plan to use the Idol platform for your career is. I'm sure you have music that you'd love to get out there.
This has just been such a preparation for me. I think that oftentimes you see the finish line and you're like, “I want to get there so badly,” but I've just been enjoying the journey, enjoying the ride. After this, I'm planning to go on the tours and release more music. I have quite a catalog that I've been sitting on for a while, so I'm excited to just grind it out, get it out and move forward with all of the tools that I've learned throughout this show.

Has your social media presence on the show grown a lot?
We have tripled DSP's like Spotify and iTunes because that was a gold mine from the very beginning. I want people to listen to the songs that I have out because I have quite a few songs out already. My monthly listeners have skyrocketed and people are listening to these songs that are pieces of my soul that I literally placed on these on these DSP's. So many more Instagram and TikTok, just all over the board.

1971 Classic Named No. 1 Hit Song Became a Timeless Anthem

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:06pm

In 1971, a simple country love song made its way to the top of the charts.

When Charley Pride released "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'," it quickly became more than just a No. 1 hit. With its charm and heartfelt lyrics, the song struck the hearts of listeners across country music and beyond. Over 50 years later, it still holds up as one of Pride's most recognizable tracks.

The song was originally released on Oct 23, 1971, for his 13th studio album, Charley Pride Sings Heart Songs. Co-written with Ben Peters and produced by Jack Clement, the song was inspired by Pride and his wife, who just welcomed their daughter Angela. Before leaving for work, his wife reminded him to kiss the baby, which is how the idea for a song was born.

About a friend who is asking the secret between a man and a woman's happy marriage, "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'" became his eighth song to be crowned the top spot on the country charts, and spent four months and peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track won him a Grammy for Best Country Song, as well for Best Country Vocal Performance for the album, in 1973. In addition, Billboard ranked the track at the number 74 for the best songs of 1972, and in 2024, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

"Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'" was also covered by multiple artists throughout the years, including George Jones, Conway Twitty, Gene Stuart, Roy Clark, Percy Sledge, Alan Jackson and Heather Myles. Pride loved the song and "couldn't wait to get into the studio" to record it, but he never anticipated it becoming a big hit.

"'Kiss An Angel' is a clear example of a record that was not recorded to be a crossover record, and all that sort of hocus-pocus, and it became a million-seller," Pride told Alanna Nash in Behind Closed Doors: Talking with The Legends of Country Music back in 2002. "And it's a typical example of where we are today, flailin' about who's country and who's middle-of-the-road."

Born in Mississippi, Pride started his career as a baseball player for the Negro American League in 1950s and early 1960s, before switching into a career in country music in the late 1960s. Signing with RCA Records, he released his debut album Country Charley Pride in 1966, ans since put out 44 albums, three lives albums, 36 compilations and three EPs. During the peak of his career, he had 52 songs reach Top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 and multiple Grammy and Country Music Awards.

The country singer was active in his career until 2020, when he recieved the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 54th Country Music Awards. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months later in his home in Dallas in December 2020 after complications related to COVID-19. He was 86 years old.

"Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'" and the rest of his discography can be streamed on all digital platforms.

Costco's 2-Pack of Ombre Towels Brings a Gradient Glow-Up to Your Bathroom

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:04pm

Let's talk bath towels for a minute here—they don't exactly come with an expiration date, so most of us hang onto them way longer than we probably should. But if yours are starting to feel more scratchy than soft or have that faint, "I washed it but is this actually clean?," it might be time to part ways.

Generally, you'll want to replace your bath towels every two to three years, depending on how often you use them and how well you care for them. Towels go through a lot—constant moisture, regular washing, and product buildup from body wash and laundry detergent can all wear down those fluffy fibers over time. Fortunately, there's a really pretty (and affordable) bath towel set at Costco right now to refresh your linen closet.

Loftex Ombre Bath Towel 2-Pack, $24.99 at Costco

Costco

I love a decorative towel moment, so the Loftex Ombre Bathe Towel 2-Pack at Costco totally appeals to me. It comes in four different colorways, all with that same gradient look: green (shown above), blue, gray and tan. They add a little something different to your bathroom than solids, stripes or florals, all while bringing a dash of color. Plus, a two-pack is just $24.99, breaking down to roughly $12.50 per towel, which is a pretty nice price for quality linens.

And they do seem really quality. For starters, the size (30 by 58 inches) is pretty standard for bath towels, so you're getting that classic coverage without it feeling skimpy. The fact that the set is 100 percent cotton is key—that usually means it'll be soft, breathable and absorbent, which is exactly what you want after a shower.

Now, here's a tiny detail I noticed that you might otherwise look past. A towel's GSM (grams per square meter) basically tells you how dense and plush a towel is. These are at 640, which means you're in that sweet spot of feeling thick and luxurious without being so heavy that it takes forever to dry. It's the kind of towel that feels a bit spa-like but is still practical for everyday use.

Costco's home finds are on fire right now in the best way. It has some really chic ceramic vases that will bring a bit of sophistication to your space. When you want to get cozy, there's a pretty (but lightweight) new throw blanket for your living room. And the minute you set your sights on this Mediterranean-inspired lazy Susan, you're going to want to plan a backyard dinner party. Just trust me on this.

Who Won ‘Jeopardy’ Today? (April 20, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 3:00pm

There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.

Here's a spoiler-filled recap of who won Jeopardy! today, plus the answer to Final Jeopardy.

In fact, Jennings revealed he'd be "very excited" if Ding beat his 2004 record "that nobody's beaten for 20-odd years," underscoring that he remains "perfectly impartial every game," and adding, "I actually believe that my record can be beaten, and I just hope I am hosting when it happens."

What was Final Jeopardy today?

Final Jeopardy today was in the category "Mountains."

The clue: "'Heidi" was set in Maienfeld, which is northeast from this 13,642-foot peak with a name that describes what Heidi is."

The answer: What is Jungfrau?

The clue proved to be a real stumper, with none of the contestants able to come up with the correct response. As usual, Ding built up a strong runway across the Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy rounds, giving him enough cushion to wager $3,000 on a Final Jeopardy response of “What is… the Eiger??” It was incorrect, yet he still walked away with $21,000 for the day.

Coughlin wagered everything with $1,800 and "What is Swiss," walking away with $0, while Phillips wagered nothing, incorrectly answering "What is Mont Blanc? :)" and leaving with $10,000.

Ding will attempt to extend his streak to 28 consecutive wins again on Tuesday.

Kendra Duggar Has 'Totally Sided' with Duggar Family After Arrests: 'She’s Brainwashed'

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 2:47pm

Kendra Duggar is reportedly standing behind the Duggar family following the arrest of her husband Joseph Duggar.

Joseph was first arrested and charged for Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor, on Mar. 18.

Two days later, Joseph and Kendra were hit with additional child endangerment charges—unrelated to Joseph’s initial case.

Kendra was released from jail shortly following her arrest after posting a $1,470 bond. Joseph, for his part, was released from custody in Florida after posting a $600,000 bond on Tuesday, Mar. 31.

On Wednesday, Apr. 15, Kendra's parents Paul and Christina Caldwell spoke out about the arrests for the first time via a statement posted to Instagram

“Our family is both troubled and heartbroken over the alleged actions committed by our son-in-law,” the statement said in part. “We are devastated for the young girl, a child who was courageous in every way to share her truth. We stand by her, both in support and prayer, and forever will.”

"We also recognize how traumatic this incident has been for our grandchildren as well and continue to pray for their strength. Our love for them, and our daughter Kendra, remains,” the Caldwells added.

Despite her parents offering support, an insider claims Kendra has sided with the Duggar family instead.

“I don’t know if it’s fear or naivete, but Kendra has totally sided with the Duggars and not her family,” a source told Us Weekly on Monday, Apr. 20. “She is brainwashed.”

According to the insider, “not many people are there to help” Kendra’s immediate family, including the Caldwells, and the Duggars have “not stepped up at all.”

“I can’t believe how [the Duggars] have treated [the Caldwells],” the source said. “They want them out. They had the lights and electricity cut off from the house they are in. It’s awful. They are trying to get out.”

The Caldwells previously launched a GoFundMe on Apr. 4 to raise funds for housing.

According to public records, Joseph and Kendra sold a property to Paul and Christina for $10,000 in July 2021.

In a jail call made to Joseph on Mar. 25, Kendra said that “my family said they’re moving out in a month and everybody is going to hold them to it.”

Kendra did not specify why her parents and younger siblings were moving out.

Kendra and Joseph have been married since 2017 and share four young children.

‘The Blind Side’ Star Quinton Aaron Breaks Silence on His Marriage After Suffering a Stroke

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 2:46pm

Quinton Aaron is opening up about the bombshell truth he learned after waking up from a coma after suffering a spinal stroke earlier this year. The Blind Sideactor reveals his thoughts after learning his wife was still married to her ex.

It was previously reported that the actor collapsed at his Atlanta home in January and was rushed to the hospital. He was later said to have fallen into a coma following a spinal stroke. Amid the medical crisis, reports also surfaced that his family requested his wife, Margarita DeLeon, not be granted access to his hospital room.

They had learned that DeLeon was still married to her ex and hadn't disclosed the information to Aaron. In an ABC News interview on Monday, the actor opened up about what he learned after coming out of a coma. Aaron reported that DeLeon had insisted during the entirety of their relationship that she was divorced. The two married in a Los Angeles chapel in 2024.

"She even told the person where we were getting married, ‘Oh yes, I have all the documents. I can email over to you the divorce decree,'" explained the actor.

Aaron then explained that his lawyer had uncovered evidence to prove DeLeon was still married while he was in a coma. The evidence found reported she was still married since 1992, with the actor admitting he never fact-checked her marital status. DeLeon commented in her defense, saying she never knew she was still married to her ex. Once his family had uncovered it, so did she.

“When I told Quinton back in the hospital bed, and I want to be very honest about this, I feel like this needs to be said and brought out there. I said to him, I said, ‘Bibi, this information that your family pulled up on me, you know, I wasn’t aware of it.’ I said, ‘This is what I found out. It is true,'" said DeLeon.

According to DeLeon's ex, who remains anonymous, he, too, had no idea they were still legally married. They both believed the divorce had gone through and been finalized. DeLeon's ex has officially filed for divorce, with no details on whether she and the actor are still together.

Since the stroke, Aaron revealed he has yet to regain his ability to walk, with doctors estimating it can take months or a year. The actor believes he'll be "walking a lot sooner than you think."

Marvel’s Highest-Grossing Movie of All Time Is Returning to Theaters in an Unexpected Way

Mon, 04/20/2026 - 2:43pm

During a presentation at CinemaCon on Thursday, Joe and Anthony Russo had an announcement that Marvel fans have been anticipating for over a year.

The Russo Brothers previously teased that Marvel’s highest-grossing film of all time, Avengers: Endgame, would be re-released in theaters ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. During the Walt Disney Studios CinemaCon presentation, they officially announced that the hit film would be re-released on Sept. 25, featuring brand-new footage.

Although it hasn’t been announced what this new footage will include, Joe Russo said on Saturday night at the Sands Film Festival that it’s important that Endgame gets re-released.

“It’s an opportunity to create a bridge from Endgame to Doomsday in a very unique way, and because the movie was so successful, we have an opportunity to re-release it,” Russo said. “You don’t always get the chance to re-release because it costs money, so the fact that we can enhance the story of Doomsday by bridging it to Endgame and these characters that we worked with for years that we love so much, and continue their story: It’s a really unique opportunity.”

Disney also announced that both Endgame and Doomsday would be released with Infinity Vision, “a new benchmark for theatrical presentation.”

Disney said Infinity Vision will include the largest screens for maximum scale, laser projection, and premium audio formats. They said that Infinity Vision-certified screens will ensure that fans can see the films “on the grandest possible scale, exactly as intended.”

“Disney’s standards for production quality are second to none, with every single detail of a film finely tuned for an immersive experience,” Andrew Cripps, head of theatrical distribution for The Walt Disney Studios, said. “Infinity Vision certification extends that commitment to the theaters themselves, representing a shared effort between The Walt Disney Studios and the exhibition community to help audiences quickly find the very best screens in their area to experience our films in exactly the way they’re designed to be seen – on a huge screen with the sharpest, clearest color and sound.”

When theaters become Infinity Vision-certified, fans will be able to see the branding both online and in theaters, “making it simple for consumers to find certified auditoriums when purchasing tickets,” Disney shared in a press release.

Doomsday will take place after the events of Endgame and will be released to theaters on Dec. 18. Marvel released the first teaser trailer for Doomsday at the end of 2025, revealing the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. Watch it here:
