The fabric is Oeko-tex certified, ensuring that it’s safe and skin-friendly. It has been tested for and is free of over 1,000 harmful toxic substances.
Janzaa 3-Piece Ruffled Comforter Set, From $29 (was $47) at Amazon Shop at AmazonThe comforter is packed with polyester microfiber filling, which is a great, lightweight alternative to down feather filling. It’s hypoallergenic, making it an ideal choice for those with allergies and sensitive skin. Microfiber is also designed to mimic the same fluffy and soft feel that down feathers provide. Attesting to this, many reviewers raved that sleeping with this blanket is “equivalent to sleeping with warm, fluffy clouds.”
One shopper even compared this comforter to “sleeping with marshmallows." A second reviewer said that this is the “coziest comforter” they’ve slept with and added that it’s “absolutely beautiful.” They also commented that it strikes “the perfect balance” between lightweight and warm.
While this comforter undoubtedly works well to keep you warm at night, several shoppers mentioned that it’s not heavy. It’ll prevent you from overheating during the warmer months, which makes it ideal for all-season use.
Because this comforter set is made of polyester, caring for it is simple. Just toss everything into the washing machine with cold water whenever it needs a refresh. Afterward, tumble dry it on a gentle cycle with low heat. Many reviewers noted that it washes really well and comes out looking brand new after every cycle. They also said that the colors stay vibrant and haven’t had any problems with shrinkage or pilling.

2008 Movie Flop Ranked ‘Worst Remake’ of All Time
A 2008 supernatural horror film has landed at the very bottom of remake rankings. According to Rotten Tomatoes, One Missed Call is now labeled the “worst remake” of all time, earning a rare 0% critics' score and harsh criticism for its weak storytelling and lack of scares.
The site’s critics consensus pulls no punches, stating: “One of the weakest entries in the J-horror remake sweepstakes, One Missed Call is undone by bland performances and shopworn shocks.”
The film also received a low audience score of 29%, showing that both critics and viewers were largely unimpressed.
Directed by Éric Valette and starring Shannyn Sossamon and Edward Burns, the movie is an American remake of a 2003 Japanese horror film by Takashi Miike. Despite a strong concept about deadly phone calls predicting victims’ deaths, critics say the remake failed to deliver real fear.
Released on Jan. 4, 2008, the film follows college student Beth Raymond, who discovers a deadly curse spreading through phone calls. Victims receive voicemails of their future deaths, complete with the exact time they will die. While the premise sounds chilling, reviews say the execution fell flat.
The movie was not screened for critics ahead of release, a move often seen as a red flag. Once reviews came in, the response was overwhelmingly negative. It even earned a “Moldy Tomato Award” for being the worst-reviewed film of 2008.
Critics pointed to multiple problems, including poor acting, predictable jump scares and unoriginal ideas. Many noted that the film borrowed heavily from better-known horror titles without adding anything new. Comparisons were made to films like The Ring and Final Destination, but without the same tension or creativity.
Reports also noted inconsistent storytelling. In some scenes, characters die from ghost attacks, while others die in accidents that feel unrelated. Even small details, like a victim’s pet dying from the curse, confused viewers and broke the rules the film tried to set.
Despite all the criticism, the film did achieve moderate box office success. However, that did little to change its reputation. It remains one of the lowest-rated films of the 2000s and is often cited as a prime example of how not to remake a foreign horror hit.
The original Japanese version, while not perfect, earned a much higher score and was praised for its atmosphere and storytelling.

'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' to Resume Filming Without Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is resuming production of season 5—but without Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen.
On Tuesday, Apr. 21—over a month after the hit series paused filming indefinitely—Hulu confirmed to Deadline that the cameras were coming back up.
People later confirmed that the show will not be filming with Paul or Mortensen when production resumes. It is unclear if either will have a chance to return to the series at a later time.
It was initially reported in March that production for Mormon Wives shut down following a “heated blowup” between Paul and Mortensen.
“They are not filming,” a source told People at the time. “Taylor [Frankie Paul] has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off.”

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Paul will not be charged after the alleged domestic violence dispute with Mortensen occurred in February.
“After reviewing reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul,” district attorney Sim Gill’s office said in a statement to Deadline on Tuesday, Apr. 14.
Shortly after Hulu paused filming of Mormon Wives,ABC pulled the plug on Paul’s season of The Bachelorette after TMZ released a never-before-seen video that appeared to show her assaulting Mortensen back in 2023.
In 2023, Paul was arrested for alleged domestic violence following an argument with Mortensen. She was given misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, after she was accused of throwing a chair at Mortensen that hit her daughter.
Paul ultimately pleaded guilty to a single charge of aggravated assault, and the domestic violence charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal. She is currently serving a 3-year probation.
Around the time of the filming pause, the Mormon Wives cast raised concerns about Paul’s alleged domestic violence in a meeting with ABC executives.
According to audio from a Zoom meeting obtained by NBC News, cast members from the Hulu reality show told ABC executives on Mar. 7 they had concerns about continuing the show if Paul—widely regarded as the group’s leader—remained involved.

Walmart’s 'Vintage-Style' $10 Checkered Planter Delivers a Trendy Look for Less
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
When you start spending more time outside again, it becomes pretty obvious what your space is missing — and it’s not always the big stuff. You can have the lounge seating, the table, and the plant stand, but if everything feels a little flat, it usually comes down to the details. The pieces that add contrast, pattern, or just something slightly unexpected are what make a patio or garden feel more pulled together.
Even a small swap, like replacing a basic planter with something more design-forward, can completely shift the look of your space. The Mainstays Lennon Black Checkered Ceramic Planter at Walmart does exactly that. At just $10, it introduces a crisp, graphic pattern that feels pulled from the higher-end “mod” aesthetic that you can find everywhere this spring.
Mainstays Lennon Black Checkered Ceramic Planter, From $10 at Walmart Shop at WalmartWhat makes this planter stand out is how much personality it adds. Instead of another plain terracotta pot or neutral planter, this one feels like a conversation piece. The black-and-white checkered pattern has that instantly eye-catching look that feels equal parts playful and polished, and the glossy ceramic finish gives it a little extra dimension so it doesn’t just blend in with the rest of your decor. The smaller, $10 size measures 6 inches across and 4.5 inches high, making it perfect for a succulent, fresh herbs, or a smaller houseplant.
The ceramic is durable enough for indoor or outdoor use, and the built-in drainage hole (with a silicone plug) helps prevent overwatering, so your plants stay healthier. There’s also a larger version that measures 8.1 inches wide by 6 inches high for $12, which makes it easy to mix the two sizes for a layered, curated look. Whether you scatter them around separately or group a few together on a kitchen shelf, a sunny windowsill, a coffee table, or even out on a patio, they make your plants feel more stylish.

Plant parents praised this “heavy-duty” planter with a “modern meets vintage-style” in the reviews section. “The pattern is gorgeous and expertly detailed,” one shopper wrote.
While it’s a favorite for plants, others point out how versatile it is. One reviewer noted that it “could easily be used as a ‘catch all’ bowl, for stems or branches, for live or faux plants, or even fruit or small snacks or candies on the countertop.”

Iconic ’80s Rocker's Gesture Toward His Daughter Draws Attention
Dave Grohl’s simple gesture is winning hearts online.
The 57-year-old vocalist appears to have passed on his musical genes to his daughter, Violet Grohl, who has now launched her own music career.
In celebration of Record Store Day on April 18, the Foo Fighters frontman was present to celebrate Record Store Day, but this time not as a performer but as a proud spectator.
Fingerprints Music in Long Beach, California, was packed with fans eager to watch performances of various artists, including rapper and actor Vince Staples, as well as Violet Grohl.
Amid the energetic crowd and nonstop music, the iconic vocalist was seen quietly watching his daughter take the stage, proudly taking in the moment as she delivered a standout live performance.

Interestingly, Dave Grohl’s proud dad moment was caught on camera and captured the attention of fans online.
In a post shared by Consequence on TikTok, the “Everlong” hitmaker was seen in the crowd jamming out to his daughter’s performance.
Fans in the comment section reacted with excitement and admiration.

♬ original sound - consequence - consequence“Proud Dad!! Gotta love it,” one wrote.
“Dave TÁS-ing it up!!” another added.
Commenters also posted playful reactions, noticing the similarity of Dave Grohl’s moves to those of the late Ozzy Osbourne.
“He’s at the age where he dances like Ozzy,” a fan said.
“Ozzy?” one jokingly asked.
Violet Grohl, whom the former Nirvana drummer shares with wife Jordyn Blum, performed songs from her upcoming debut solo album, Be Sweet to Me.
Set to be released on May 29, one of her first singles, “595,” officially launched last March.
According to her, the inspiration behind the song was a vintage T-shirt she bought from Etsy. Her dad showed it to her because it advertises a pay-by-the-minute phone sex line.
“We went into the studio and we had this kind of idea for a heavy, desert, rocky, heavier kind of song,” she told The Evening Show with Dan O’Connell on Radio X. “The shirt was such a main focus that day. And it says like ‘5.95 per call.’”
The rising rocker recalled the moment when people in the studio thought it was “incredible” and suggested they should “write a song about it.”
Dave Grohl’s Daughter Reacts to Nepo Baby LabelBeing the daughter of an iconic musician didn't spare Violet Grohl from being labeled a “nepo baby,” but according to her, she doesn’t mind the label and is simply grateful to have been born into that world.
“I’m beyond grateful for the life that I was born into,” the 20-year-old singer told The Forty-Five. “It’s such a privilege to be able to be around musicians and in a space that nurtures my interest and allows me to grow and to make a record.”
She acknowledged her family’s background, which helped her open opportunities that might not be as easily available to others.
However, Violet Grohl is not pretending that everything she has is solely the result of her own effort but rather that she has also worked hard for it.
“You guys shouldn’t say that! That hurts my feelings,” the singer added.

1936 Hit Film Ranked Among 'Greatest Movies of All Time'
Charlie Chaplin once came in third place in a Charlie Chaplin lookalike contest, according to his son. How's that for a story?
Chaplin was a master of storytelling himself during his cinematic reign, even in an era of silent films. And earlier this year marked the 90th anniversary of the release of arguably his finest movie ever — although it wasn't entirely silent, interestingly enough.
Modern Times is a timeless classic for a number of reasons: It showcases Chaplin's expertise in physical comedy while also paving the way for his future in "talkies," for the film's climactic scene suddenly features diegetic audio so that we can hear his infamous "Little Tramp" character sing nonsensical gibberish (if you haven't seen the movie, just you wait).
Added to all that, Chaplin's 1936 feature offers impactful social commentary on the times, skewering industrialized America to political perfection. Here's the official synopsis of Modern Times, which holds a whopping 98% critics' rating on Rotten Tomatoes:
The Tramp finds himself employed at a state-of-the-art factory where the inescapable machinery completely overwhelms him, and where various mishaps keep getting him sent to prison. In between his various jail stints, he meets and befriends an orphan girl (Paulette Goddard). Both together and apart, they try to contend with the difficulties of modern life, with the Tramp working as a waiter and eventually a performer...
Modern Times is also ranked at No. 8 on Rotten Tomatoes' sprawling list of 300 Best Movies of All Time, in case you needed extra convincing to give the throwback feature a go. Oh, and it's also featured on the American Film Institute's list of 100 Greatest American Movies of All Time.
Decades later, Oscar-winner Robert Downey Jr. would portray the late, great performer in a biopic simply titled Chaplin. The Oppenheimer star would receive an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of the Modern Times mastermind.
Target’s 'Very Comfy' $126 Foldable Floor Sofa Bed Is a Genius Solution for Small Spaces That Comes in 5 Colors
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
When you don’t have square footage to spare, every spot in your home needs to be intentional. It’s less about cramming in more furniture and more about being strategic with what you bring in — like choosing a lift-top coffee table instead of a standard console, a slim cabinet for vertical storage, or a bench that works as both seating and a landing spot.
In homes like this, flexible furniture just makes sense. Instead of committing to one fixed setup, you get pieces that can shift with your needs. The Costway Foldable Floor Sofa Bed at Target is a perfect example. Now marked down 59% to $126 from its original $310 price tag, it covers multiple needs at once — lounging spot, reading chair, extra bed — without taking over the room.
Costway Foldable Floor Sofa Bed, From $126 (was $310) at Target Shop at TargetInstead of a traditional couch structure, this floor sofa has a fully foldable design that can shift depending on how you want to use it throughout the day. Inside, a heavy-duty steel frame gives it a sturdy foundation, so it doesn’t need to be propped against a wall to feel secure.
The backrest adjusts across six positions, moving from upright seating all the way down to a fully flat 180-degree layout, so it easily transitions from sofa to bed whenever you need it to. It also comes with two bolster-style pillows that can be used for low back support or as a headrest. With a weight capacity of up to 330 pounds, it’s strong enough to comfortably support solo lounging or sharing the space with another person.
The memory foam cushioning is wrapped in a soft composite suede that gives it an instant cozy feel, paired with sponge padding that balances comfort and structure for longer use. In sofa form, it measures 48 inches long, and while fully flat, it extends to 71 inches, giving you enough room to stretch out. Weighing just 25 pounds, it’s lightweight enough to move around or reposition as needed, and the foldable design makes it easy to tuck away into a storage closet when not in use.
It also comes in five different colors, making it easy to fit into a wide range of home aesthetics — from more neutral, minimal setups to softer, cozier living spaces or bolder, statement-driven rooms. Blue and beige are the most affordable options at $126, but all other colors are priced under $140, so no matter which direction you go in, you’re getting a solid deal.
Shoppers who live in small spaces praised this “very comfy” and “practical” option in the reviews section. “We used this for a temporary couch while the new one arrived, and it was surprisingly fantastic,” one shopper wrote, adding that “the reclining element is awesome.”
Another shopper shared that it’s “good to have for pop-in guests,” and is “as comfortable as a futon, but much lighter and easier to move around.”

Jelly Roll Discovers Heartbreaking ‘Reality’ During Ongoing Transformation Journey: ‘Lost My Way’
Jelly Roll is finally getting back on the scale since gracing the cover of Men’s Health in January at 265.7 pounds. And, he admits he purposely avoided stepping on the machine because he felt heavy after overindulging during the holiday break.
In a recent vlog uploaded to YouTube, the once-540-pound artist further detailed his reasons for ignoring the scale, telling fans that he had suffered a significant setback that caused him to pause his workout routine and forced him to take it easy.
An Injury“I kinda got off the rails, and I broke my collarbone about a week before Christmas, and that set me down, where I had to quit running, quit exercising, quit walking for an extended period of time….,” Jelly Roll explained in the video. “I have, to some degree, lost my way ... .”
The “Need a Favor” singer, 41, went on to say that while he has experienced a lapse in training, he hopes to lose at least 40 more pounds after dropping nearly 300 pounds since beginning his weight-loss journey.
That means he has to put in a lot of work. And, part of that includes facing the scale again.
“I’m afraid to see what the scale is gonna say. From what my actual goal is….,” he confessed. “It’s April 10…. And I promised y’all I would weigh in this week, and I am scared.”
“I feel really fat. I feel really bloated,” he added. “I feel like the scale is gonna let me down, and I’m gonna find out that I’ve gained 15 pounds over the fu—ing last six months. I’m scared.”
After that, Jelly Roll revealed he had gained 12 pounds, now sitting at 276.2 pounds.
“That’s our reality right there,” he says from behind the camera, the lens fixed on the scale.
A New GoalAt this point, Jelly Roll has already achieved several benchmarks, including completing a 5K and appearing on the cover of Men’s Health. And, he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Building on that momentum, he has set more personal milestones.
“So we’ve set the new goal of training for the New York City marathon in November. I want to get these last 40-50 pounds off, and then I eventually want to cut my skin,” he said. “And I eventually want to be on the cover of something crazy like GQ, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Forbes, or Time with my shirt off. I know this is getting really silly now. But, I don’t know. I just believe there’s this story that a guy can go from 560 pounds to a shirt-off picture. It’s absurd.”

2002 Hit Film Ranked Among ‘Best Movies of the Century’
A major film ranking has brought renewed attention to The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, with the 2002 blockbuster landing at No. 23 on Rotten Tomatoes’ “100 Best Movies of the 21st Century.”
The recognition reinforces the film’s long-standing reputation as one of the most influential and successful fantasy movies ever made.
Released in December 2002 and directed by Peter Jackson, the film continues to earn strong praise decades later. It holds an impressive 95% critics score and 95% audience score, signaling rare agreement between reviewers and moviegoers.
The site’s critics consensus states: “The Two Towers balances spectacular action with emotional storytelling, leaving audiences both wholly satisfied and eager for the final chapter.”
As the second installment in the epic trilogy based on the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, the movie builds directly on the story of its predecessor, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and sets the stage for the finale, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
From its initial release, The Two Towers was widely seen as a groundbreaking achievement in filmmaking. The story follows multiple storylines across Middle-earth, including Frodo and Sam’s dangerous journey to destroy the One Ring, Aragorn’s fight to defend Rohan and the growing threat of war led by Saruman.
The film features a massive ensemble cast led by Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen and Andy Serkis. Serkis’ performance as Gollum, created through motion capture, became one of the most talked-about elements of the film and a milestone in visual effects.
Critics and audiences praised the film for its scale, storytelling and technical achievements. Its battle sequences, especially the Battle of Helm’s Deep, remain widely regarded as some of the greatest ever put on screen.
The film’s success extended beyond reviews. It earned $923 million worldwide during its original run, making it the highest-grossing film of 2002 at the time. With later re-releases, its total climbed to $944 million globally.
The Two Towers also received significant awards recognition. At the 75th Academy Awards, it earned six nominations, including Best Picture and won for Best Visual Effects and Best Sound Editing.
Its influence has only grown stronger over time. The film is now frequently cited as one of the greatest sequels in cinema history and a defining entry in the fantasy genre. It has also been recognized for pushing the boundaries of digital filmmaking, particularly with the creation of Gollum.

Kate previously divulged that her nickname was “Squeak” when she was younger. During a visit to her alma mater, St. Andrew's School in Pangbourne, she asked the students if they had any pets before talking about her childhood guinea pigs.
"There was one called Pip and one called Squeak, because my sister was called Pippa and I was Squeak," Kate said in 2016, per The Mirror.

In addition to attending the party, Kate and William shared a tribute on Instagram to commemorate Elizabeth’s birthday. The longest reigning monarch died in September 2022 at the age of 96.
“Remembering Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the 100th anniversary of her birth,” the Prince and Princess of Wales wrote as a caption to a slide show of photos. “Inspiring generations through a lifetime of duty.”
Kate’s appearance at the party marks her return to royal events after stepping away from her duties to spend Spring Break with her husband, Prince William, 43, and their three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
In addition to the birthday soiree, Kate is set to participate in Anzac Day on April 25, her return to the event after four years. The events commemorate all Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all wars, with the day specifically marking the anniversary of Australian and New Zealand soldiers landing in Gallipoli, Turkey, in 1915. The celebration in London includes a dawn service beginning at 5 a.m. in Hyde Park Corner, followed by a formal wreath-laying ceremony at the Cenotaph on Whitehall. The events conclude with a service at Westminster Abbey, featuring a separate wreath-laying ceremony at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.

Kate is expected to take a central role in this year’s Anzac Day alongside Princess Anne. Prince William is also expected to be in attendance. The Princess of Wales will lay a wreath on behalf of King Charles III, who will not be in attendance as he is prepping for his upcoming state visit to the US.
Kate has attended Anzac Day two other times. In 2022, she and William stepped out together for the day. Before that, she and her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, attended together in 2019. William was in New Zealand following the Christchurch mosque attacks, and Meghan Markle was on maternity leave after giving birth to her and Harry’s firstborn, Prince Archie.

‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Fate Revealed After Filming Hiatus
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will resume filming season 5!
On Tuesday, Apr. 21—over a month after the hit series paused filming indefinitely—Hulu confirmed to Deadline that the show is set to resume production.
People later confirmed that filming would resume without Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Paul will not be charged after an alleged domestic violence dispute with Mortensen occurred in February.

On Mar. 16, it was reported that production for Mormon Wives shut down following a “heated blowup” between Paul and Mortensen.
“They are not filming,” a source told People at the time. “Taylor [Frankie Paul] has some pretty serious stuff happening regarding her past, and they will see what happens. Until that resolves, they are off.”
Around the time of the filming pause, the Mormon Wives cast raised concerns about Paul's alleged domestic violence in a meeting with ABC executives.
According to audio from a Zoom meeting obtained by NBC News, cast members from the Hulu reality show told ABC executives on Mar. 7 they had concerns about continuing the show if Paul—widely regarded as the group’s leader—remained involved.
1989 Hit Ranked Among ‘Greatest Songs of All Time’ Hit No. 1 37 Years Ago Today
Madonna's "Like a Prayer" hit No. 1 on the charts 37 years ago today!
On April 22, 1989, the song became Madonna’s seventh No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, topping the chart for three consecutive weeks and cementing its place as one of her most iconic tracks.
In 2021, Rolling Stone ranked “Like a Prayer” at No. 55 on its list of “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”
“Only Madonna could combine love, religion, and oral sex into a six-minute gospel-pop powerhouse,” the outlet wrote in its review. “To her, ‘Like a Prayer’ is ‘the song of a passionate young girl so in love with God that it is almost as though He were the male figure in her life.’”
The song remains widely remembered for its controversial music video, which depicts Madonna witnessing a white woman being sexually assaulted and killed by a group of white men.
When a Black man is arrested for the crime, Madonna hides in a church for safety, seeking strength to come forward as a witness. The video invokes Catholic imagery such as the stigmata, shows the burning of crosses, and includes a dream sequence where Madonna kisses a Black saint.
As a result of the video, Madonna lost her sponsorship contract with Pepsi, which had planned to use “Like a Prayer” in a commercial.
She was also condemned by the Vatican, and Pope John Paul II encouraged a boycott of her music in Italy over the video’s “blasphemous” imagery.
“In Catholicism you are born a sinner and you are a sinner all of your life,” Madonna said in 1989, per Rolling Stone. “No matter how you try to get away from it, the sin is within you all the time.”

37 years later, "Like a Prayer" is still a mainstream hit. So much so, Sabrina Carpenter brought Madonna out during weekend 2 of her 2026 Coachella set to perform the song as a duet.
Along with "Like a Prayer," the duo sang 1990's "Vogue" and a song that appeared to be from Madonna's upcomingConfessions IIalbum, a sequel to 2005's Confessions on a Dancefloor.
“So, 20 years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed Confessions on a Dance Floor part one in America," Madonna said on stage. "It was such a thrill, and it’s a thrill to be back. It’s a full circle moment, you know? [It's] very meaningful for me.”
The viral guest appearance marked Madonna's first performance at Coachella since 2015, when she came on during Drake’s headlining set.
Confessions II will be released on July 3, 2026.
'The Big Bang Theory' Star Has a Priceless Comeback to ‘Bazinga’ Requests
Jim Parsons has a playful response when fans ask him about his iconic The Big Bang Theory character.
The award-winning actor rose to global fame in the 2000s after landing the role of Sheldon Cooper, the eccentric genius theoretical physicist who became one of the series’ most recognizable characters.
Despite the show ending in 2019, the 53-year-old actor is still recognized for his role and would often be asked about one thing.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Parsons, who appeared as a guest alongside Titanique co-stars Melissa Barrera and Frankie Grande, revealed why he refuses to say his iconic catchphrase.
When asked how he feels when fans shout “Bazinga” at him in public, the actor playfully said, “I keep walking” and would sometimes pretend that he did not hear it.

Parsons was asked by the host if he had never replied or shouted back, to which he responded, “I get asked to say it sometimes, but I just say ‘you don't have enough money’” prompting his co-stars and everyone at the studio to laugh.
Although he kept things lighthearted, the comment section had mixed reactions regarding Jim Parsons’ reply.
@cosmopolitan$$$ or no "bazinga" for you! #TheBigBangTheory #sheldoncooper #JimParsons #GroupTherapy
♬ original sound - Cosmopolitan“I would totally understand, but I would be disappointed,” one wrote.
“It should be the ultimate compliment, it means u made it in life big,” a commenter said.
A follower posted a bold reaction, noting, “The money comment was unnecessary.”
Meanwhile, one fan responded with a more neutral take, writing “Bazinga is so iconic tho!! I think if he said it back, that would be so fire!!”
As for others, they totally understand Parsons' comment and agree with his stance.
“Lol, people don’t see actors as people. They get paid to say these things, why would they do it for free at our beck and call,” a TikTok user pointed out.
The same goes for another who said, “Just because he's famous for being Sheldon doesn't mean he has to let people yell random lines at him on the street or ask him to say lines for the rest of his life.”
The same goes for another who said, “Nothing is going to make me hate you, Sheldon Cooper.”
“Bazinga” is Sheldon Cooper’s signature catchphrase and is mostly used to point out a prank, joke or sarcastic remark. Basically, "gotcha" or "fooled you" is a more conversational term.
In a 2014 interview with AOL, Parsons revealed that it originated as an inside joke among the show’s writers, specifically writer Stephen Engel.
“I remember it wasn't in the script. It was one of those moments when we work on a scene and then you go and take notes from the producers and writers. It was inserted right before taping. Basically, it was like ‘that would work here, what if he said ‘bazinga’ after that.”
Lo and behold, it was one of The Big Bang Theory’s many iconic moments.

Kylie Jenner Sued by Former Housekeeper for Discrimination
Kylie Jenner's former housekeeper filed a lawsuit against her alleging discrimination.
According to a complaint obtained by Entertainment Weekly filed on April 17 in which Jenner is named as a defendant, the plaintiff, Angela Vasquez, alleges discrimination, harassment of national origin, race, religion, disability, and failure to provide reasonable accommodation.
While Jenner is named as a defendant, there are not specific allegations made against her in the filing.
Vasquez started working for Jenner in 2024 at her Beverly Hills home. A week after her employment began, Vasquez was reassigned to Jenner's residence in Hidden Hills. Vasquez claims that she was "treated with hostility and exclusion" by her supervisors and other staff.
She further claims she was "assigned the most difficult and undesirable tasks, excluded from the housekeeping team; publicly belittled and humiliated in front of coworkers due to her race, national origin and religion; and subjected to intimidation and demeaning treatment."
The filing continues, "Supervisors snapped their fingers at Plaintiff, shouted at her, falsely accused her of misconduct, and treated her in a demeaning and degrading manner."
Vasquez alleges she was discriminated against as she was the only member of Jenner's staff of Salvadorian origin. She was allegedly "mocked for her accent and treated as inferior because of her Salvadoran background." Furthermore, the defendants allegedly, "failed to take any meaningful corrective action."
According to the complaint, Vasquez was further mistreated after speaking up about the alleged incidents. She claims she faced increased workload, a reduction of scheduled hours, false accusations, and disciplinary warnings as a result.
The complaint also outlines an alleged physical and verbal altercation that occurred in March 2025.
"On or about March 29, 2025, a supervisor threw hangers at Plaintiff’s feet while reprimanding her," the complaint alleges. "Plaintiff was also subjected to threats regarding pay, including statements that she would not be paid if work was not completed," which Vasquez believed to be retaliation for speaking out.
Vasquez resigned from her position in August 2025 and is seeking a trial by jury, along with restitution in the unpaid wages, unreimbursed business charges, unpaid sick leave, and all other "compensation unlawfully withheld."
Jenner has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
