Your Perfect Comfort Meal, Based on Birth Date

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:41am

Comfort food is about so much more than just what’s on your plate. The meals we crave when we’re overwhelmed, emotional, exhausted, or in need of grounding reflect something much deeper within us. In numerology, your birth date carries its own energetic signature, revealing the kinds of experiences, emotions, and comforts that naturally restore you. You thrive in environments filled with laughter, storytelling, and shared moments, making meals often part of the memory-making process.  Even during difficult times, you seek out joy, connection, and little sparks of fun that help bring you back to yourself. Diane Keaton’s Daughter Shared a Touching Tribute to Her Late Mom on Mother’s Day

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:28am

Diane Keaton's daughter, Dexter "Dexie" White, honored her late mom for Mother's Day in a heartbreaking tribute.

Keaton, a legendary actress who died at age 79 on Oct. 11 of a bacterial pneumonia infection, was the focus of White's touching tribute, which showed the mother-daughter duo having fun throughout the years. Featuring photos of the two frolicking in the sun and smiling alongside each other on Dexter's wedding day, the poignant post expressed how hard it was to navigate the first Mother's Day without her mom.

"First Mother’s Day without you. I miss you more than words can say. Missing her voice, her hugs, her presence, and everything that made her home 🤍 I love you, Mom 🤍," White captioned the photo set, which could not be embedded. In her Instagram stories, she shared a shot from her wedding, writing, "I miss smiling with you. I just miss you, mom."

Keaton Never Wanted to Get Married

While Keaton had several high-profile romances during her life, she always maintained that she wasn't marriage material.

"Today I was thinking about this," she said to PEOPLE in 2019. "I'm 73 and I think I'm the only one in my generation, and maybe before, who has been a single woman all her life."

Noting that it would not "have been a good idea for me to have married," Keaton added that she was "really glad I didn't, and I'm sure they're happy about it, too," she shared about her former boyfriends, which included people like Woody Allen and Al Pacino.

"I remember one day in high school, this guy came up to me and said, 'One day you're going to make a good wife,'" she remembered. "And I thought, 'I don't want to be a wife. No.'"

Keaton Wanted to Become a Parent

While she wasn't interested in getting married, Keaton was very interested in becoming a mother. In her 50s, she adopted Dexter and her brother, Duke.

"Motherhood was not an urge I couldn't resist, it was more like a thought I'd been thinking for a very long time. So I plunged in," she told Ladies Home Journal.

Influencer Claims Dave Ramsey’s Methods ‘Keep You Poor’ and People Are Very Divided

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:17am

Love him or hate him, Dave Ramsey may be one of the more famous financial gurus on social media. And while many people say that his debt-busting methods were the only way they could get on a financial track, there are others who are critical of his hardline approach, especially when it comes to spending.

In fact, TikToker Brian Luebben was very critical of Ramsey in a new post that quickly went viral, explaining how Ramsey's methods can keep you poor. Honestly, he's definitely onto something with this theory, even if some of the people in the comments weren't happy with what he had to say.

Dave ramsey is best in the world at fixing debt, not building wealth

♬ original sound - brianluebben A TikToker Went Viral After Criticizing Dave Ramsey

At the start of the month, Luebben shared a post about Ramsey, accusing him of keeping people poor. The TikToker started his video by saying that, while he thinks the financial guru is the "best person in the world" at getting people from "broke to neutral." However, that's pretty much where his praise stopped.

That's because Luebben says that once people are out of debt, Ramsey's advice keeps them from building wealth, since Ramsey says that you shouldn't purchase anything unless you can pay cash for it. The TikToker used the purchase of a home as an example, saying he would not be able to pay cash for the entire deal and would instead put down only 20 percent, financing the remaining 80 percent with a mortgage.

He made the same complaint about buying a business as well, saying if he were to want to invest in a plumbing company, he would only be able to put so much money down. Luebben says that it's unrealistic to expand your wealth without leveraging your money in this way. "The focus on debt payoff, while essential, might leave some viewers looking for more nuanced guidance on investing, passive income generation, and long-term wealth diversification," he wrote in part of his caption of the video.

People Had Mixed Thoughts About the Post

The post quickly went viral, and people started sharing their own takes on Luebben's criticism, including one person who shared how they built wealth while following Ramsey's advice. "Me doing Dave Ramsey at 27 now worth 2.5 million with three paid for houses, no debt, and now investing half of every paycheck at 44," they wrote before adding that they planned to be able to retire by 55 as a result.

"He kills me with his 'no credit cards no exceptions,'" another person wrote. "My business buys all of our materials and pays our raw material vendors with a Chase card, and we had $22,000 in rewards last year."

"I don’t think you guys have actually bothered to listen to Dave Ramsey," yet another person chimed in.

While it's clear that Ramsey's debt snowball plan is beloved by those it helps, some people remain critical of the finance expert's advice in many cases.

This ‘Glam-Tropical’ Caribbean Icon Made History When It Opened 77 Years Ago

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:16am

When Caribe Hilton put down roots in San Juan, Puerto Rico, 77 years ago, it became the first of its kind. In December 1949, the property was not only the hotel chain's first location outside the continental U.S., but it also became the first modern luxury accommodation established on the island—a distinction that has made it an enduring historic landmark in the Caribbean destination.

Today, the tropical escape offers an expansive 652 rooms with sweeping ocean views, a secluded beach, a spa, a hammock garden, a basketball court, volleyball, and multiple swimming pools and restaurants on-site—not to mention, cultural history as deep as the ocean itself.

Historic in more ways than one, Caribe Hilton is recognized as the birthplace of the first-ever Piña Colada, a tasty, fruity beverage created by then-bartender Ramón "Monchito" Marrero in 1954 on the hotel's grounds. When tasked with developing a welcome drink to offer guests, he landed on the mixture of ingredients that he felt captured the true spirit of Puerto Rico after three months of experimenting.

Photo: Caribe Hilton

Initially an alcohol-free concoction (what we would now refer to as a "mocktail"), but later altered to include spirits, the original recipe calls for two ounces of white rum, one ounce of coconut cream, one ounce of heavy cream, six ounces of fresh pineapple juice, and ½ cup of crushed ice, according to intel from the property that was shared directly with Parade.

In 1978, Puerto Rico made the cocktail official, naming the Piña Colada its national drink. The hotel now sells ~59,000 of the beloved beverages annually.

"Caribe Hilton has long been a glam-tropical icon," its website states, hosting the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Gloria Swanson, and more celebrities over the years.

Legendary Puerto Rican entertainer Iris Chacón, who made history of her own with El Show de Iris Chacón—the most-watched variety TV show on the island in the '70s and '80s—performed during the height of the hotel's nightlife era, with vibrant sold-out cabaret shows at the Club Caribe. Her legacy now lives on inside the venue's mini walk-through museum, where its most notable figures are honored.

Nearly eight decades later, what remains is Caribe Hilton's beachside oasis vibe and reputation for inviting guests into a welcoming environment that offers the best of exploratory or restorative activities and beautiful views in a central city location, just minutes from Old San Juan's famous cobblestone streets and bustling scene.

And when you do book a trip to stay at Caribe Hilton for yourself, make the most of the cultural experience in San Juan with a meal at La Casita Blanca—a favorite frequented by locals and recommended by Bad Bunny for its traditional, authentic cuisine—a visit to Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico for a greater understanding of the island's cultural legacy dating back to the 17th century, and a traditional Afro-Puerto Rican dancing class to learn Bomba y Plena.

Woman Shares Why She ‘Ran Away’ From Florida Tax Haven— And Why You May Want To Follow Her Lead

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:14am

Florida banks its appeal on sunny weather, tourist attractions, zero income tax, and special tax breaks for long-term home owners. In fact, low to no taxes have been used as a selling point for migration to Florida for a long time. Rising costs of actually living there, however, are making it lose its luster.

The Price Spike

Lorraine English, 72, recently moved from Bradenton, Florida, to Asheville, North Carolina, due to the ferocity of natural disasters and the high costs of homeownership. While the Sunshine State does offer ‘tax havens’ to residents moving from high-income tax states like California and New York, the costs to own a home may negate those savings entirely.

Florida has the highest insurance premiums in the country. The average $300,000 home in many areas of the U.S. pays about $ 2,543 a year in insurance, but in Florida, that same policy costs about $7,136.

The Math Doesn't Work

The tax breaks that attract many people to Florida may not offset the inflated cost of living there. If you live in New York and make $70,000 a year, you’ll pay an average of $4000 in taxes. In Florida, there’s no tax on that income.

On the surface, it looks like a no-brainer, but when we add up the other costs, you may suddenly be losing out. Homeowners in New York with a house valued at around $600,000 will typically pay $3,021 for insurance. In Florida, that same policy will cost you $13,729.

A couple bringing in $140,000 a year may save $8,000 in taxes but will spend an additional $10,000 on insurance. Instead of saving, they’ve incurred an additional $2000 in yearly expenses. And that’s not the only additional fee.

Even More Fees

Florida’s property taxes have skyrocketed. The state government has more than doubled the cost, outpacing national inflation and population growth combined. Couple that with rapidly increasing housing prices, going from around $250,000 to $376,000 in 2026 alone, and you have a tax nightmare for new buyers.

Lower Cost Alternatives

It’s no wonder residents are choosing Florida’s less expensive neighbors, like Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina, where housing is more affordable. Florida ranks #44 out of 50 states in housing affordability.

So, while the Sunshine State used to have the appeal of lower taxes, affordable homes, and beautiful weather, the rapidly changing landscape of these factors has many residents fleeing.

The Future of Social Security Is Uncertain. Here’s What Finance Pros Say You Should Do Now So You Can Retire Without It

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:06am

It's no secret that the Social Security Administration (SSA) is in some trouble. And while there's a bit of disagreement on exactly what is going to happen with the fund—the SSA says that it expects to be able to continue making payments until 2037, while others believe that it could run out of money as early as 2032—it's clear that the future of the benefit is uncertain.

We talked to some experts to figure out how you should start preparing, especially if you're nearing retirement age. Here's what they said you should do now to help keep your retirement plans on track, no matter what happens with Social Security.

Max Out Your Retirement Contributions

If you're able to, Eric Croak, CFP and President at Croak Capital, says you should try a four-pronged approach to planning for your retirement, which includes:

  • Maxing out your 401(k) contributions ($23,500 for 2025; $24,500 for 2026)
  • Fund a Roth IRA
  • Contribute to an HSA that you're ok using as a stealth retirement account
  • Use after-tax brokerage dollars

"Dividing investments among accounts with different tax treatments lets you layer your withdrawals to minimize taxes," he explains. "Assuming you can save $30,000 to $50,000 per year for 25 years and earn an average of 7 percent after fees, that could grow to $1.9 mil to $3.2 mil, which translates to $76,000 to $128,000 a year in retirement income at a 4 percent withdrawal rate."

Invest in Real Estate

If you're looking for alternative ways to earn money in retirement, Eric Hughes of Rental Income Advisors suggests purchasing some rental properties.

"I personally was able to leave my corporate job in the retail industry at age 39 thanks to cash-flowing rental properties that provide me with $100,000 in annual income," he says. "Cash flow properties tend to be lower-cost homes in middling neighborhoods—nothing fancy."

According to him, you can expect to bring a 5 to 10 percent cash return, with a total return of about 20 percent.

Reduce Your Debt

Debt matters just as much as savings, according to Alex Langan, Chief Investment Officer and Financial Advisor with Langan Financial Group, LLC. "A retiree who owns their home outright and carries no high-interest debt needs significantly less monthly income than one who's still servicing a mortgage and credit card balances," he explains, adding that reducing fixed expenses before retirement is one of the most underrated ways to reduce dependence on any single income source, including Social Security.

Related: Why Your Social Security Benefits Might Be Taxed for the First Time Ever

Reframe the Way You Think About Social Security

Paul Gillooly, Financial Advisor at Dot Dot Loans, says that worrying without a plan does little to help you save money. As such, he says it's good to come up with alternative options that allow you to reduce your reliance on Social Security, treating it as a supplement rather than your main source of income. To do that, he suggests making some adjustments to your retirement planning.

"And changes don’t have to be drastic, even a few small things here and there—upping contributions, having less debt, and being less quick to want to spend, and more inclined to save—can really make a difference over time."

With the future of Social Security so uncertain, it's good to know that you can start taking steps today to prepare.

The 3 Artsy Desert Stops Between Phoenix and Palm Springs You Didn’t Know Existed (And Are Worth Pulling Over For)

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:02am

Here's the thing about the Phoenix-to-Palm Springs drive: most people treat it like they're in a (somewhat boring) race to get from point A to point B. While Palm Springs has its share of well-documented art and landscape attractions like Salvation Mountain, the real treasures are hiding in plain sight along the way—three quirky desert towns where artists, dreamers, and desert rats have built something genuinely offbeat and worth discovering.

If you're willing to break up that I-10 stretch with three hours of detours through some of the desert's most eccentric roadside art and oddities, you'll find that the real story isn't about getting to Palm Springs—it's about what you stumble onto along the way.

Related: Why This Hidden SoCal Valley’s Historic Hot Springs Deserve A Detour This Summer

Quartzsite

Two hours west of Phoenix sits a town that transforms every winter. Quartzsite's population explodes from roughly 4,000 to nearly a million between November and March, drawing mineral collectors and gem enthusiasts from around the world. Even in the off-season, the town embraces its eccentric side. You'll find quirky roadside sculptures, antique shops, and art installations that feel like they belong in an alternate reality.

One can’t-miss stop? The Hi Jolly Monument is an 8-foot-tall pyramid-shaped monument topped with a metal camel sculpture. The story behind it is as fascinating as the piece itself: it was designed to honor a Syrian camel driver named Hadji Ali (aka “Hi Jolly”) who was brought to Arizona in the 1850s as part of a failed government experiment to use camels for desert transport. Nearby, you can explore old mining history, walk among metal sculptures made from found desert objects, and generally appreciate a place where ordinary rules don't quite apply.

Related: The New ‘Silent Travel’ Trend: Why Some Travelers Are Choosing Destinations With No Wi-Fi

Salome

Sixty miles west, Salome's main claim to fame is its Little Roadside Chapel. This tiny structure sits alone in the desert with a pulpit, one pew, and stained-glass windows, welcoming visitors to "Enter. Rest. Pray." at any hour. It's genuinely one of those stops that makes you pause—partly for the photo op (the chapel's size makes for Instagrammable perspective shots), partly because standing alone in the desert with a hand-built prayer space hits different.

For history lovers, the Painted Rock Petroglyph Site nearby contains over 800 ancient rock carvings created by the Hohokam people more than a thousand years ago. Seeing that many petroglyphs in one place—centuries of people coming to this same rock and leaving their mark—reminds you that the desert has always drawn people seeking something.

Desert Center

Desert Center, with its under 200 residents, is basically a ghost town. What makes it worth a stop is the sheer weirdness—and endless photo ops. Sun-faded signs, an old gas station, abandoned buildings, and even a working post office make the entire place feel straight out of some Quentin Tarantino movie set.

Who Is Cedric the Entertainer’s Wife? Inside His Longtime Marriage to Lorna Wells

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 11:00am

Cedric the Entertainer, born Cedric Antonio Kyles, has built a career that spans stand-up, movies like Barbershop and The Original Kings of Comedy, and TV shows including The Neighborhood, which airs its series finale on May 11, 2026. But off-screen, the comedian has stayed laser-focused on one thing: the family he built with wife Lorna Wells.

“The greatest legacy that we leave is our family,” he said in an interview with radio personality Jazmyn Summers.

He credits Wells, whom he married in 1999, for their strong foundation. “My wife is not a social media kinda personality,” he shared in that same conversation. “Her love is sincere and direct and purposeful, and she makes sure that I return that.”

When it comes to their relationship, he added, they don’t operate from inside the Hollywood bubble. “[It] has nothing to do with us,” he explained. “It’s about us being a couple to each other. That’s what we wake up and do, and that’s been a blessing.”

Who is Cedric the Entertainer’s wife?

Cedric the Entertainer is married to Lorna Wells. Although she prefers to stay out of the spotlight, Cedric is quick to give his wife her flowers on talk shows and social media.

“We still have so much fun together," he shared on Tamron Hall in 2025. “We laugh. She travels with me all the time. This is a beautiful thing, so I’m really happy.”

For their anniversary that same year, Cedric gushed on Instagram, “25 years and we still got it … Love you beyond forever.”

View this post on Instagram What does Cedric the Entertainer’s wife do for a living?

Unlike her famous husband, Wells keeps a relatively low public profile, and she has not publicly discussed a specific profession in depth. However, she’s been involved in philanthropic and community work alongside Cedric through the Kyles Family Foundation, which focuses on scholarships and outreach programs for young people.

Back in the ‘90s and early 2000s, she worked in the costume and wardrobe departments of Muppets Tonight and City Guys

How did Cedric the Entertainer and his wife meet?

The pair met early on in Cedric’s career, when he was hosting BET's ComicView during the 1993–1994 season. Some reports say they were introduced through a mutual friend, but Cedric claimed on an episode of Tamron Hall that it was a bit more coincidental than that.

“She saw me walking through the mall and fell in love,” he said. “She was like, ‘Ohhh, look at you.’’ And I was like, ‘What’s up, girl?’” (It’s possible he was joking — the man is a comedian, after all.)

When did Cedric the Entertainer and his wife get married?

The pair tied the knot in September 1999. Although their marriage has lasted an eternity by Hollywood standards, Cedric has admitted to a brief split early on in their relationship.

“There was a moment when I was like, ‘I’m still out in these streets!’” he said on Tamron Hall. “And then we broke up and I was like, [pretends to cry], ‘What you doin’?’”

He needed to “mature as a man,” Cedric explained. “You kind of recognize that certain things aren’t going to be fulfilling for life. You realize, ‘This is a partner that you can make the run with.’”

Is Cedric the Entertainer still married?

Yes. Cedric and Wells are still happily married.

When asked about the secret to their long-lasting love on The Drew Barrymore Show, Cedric said that he and Wells make it a point to take care of each other. “You wake up thinking about them and love them, and they wake up thinking about you,” he explained. “She’s got me; all I have to do is get her.”

A common pitfall in relationships, he continued, is that “everybody starts to take care of themselves … you just stop checking in on your person, especially after a long period of time. When you’ve been doing it for over 20 years, you can easily just get in your own lane.”

Do Cedric the Entertainer and his wife have kids?

Yes. Cedric and Wells share two children: son Croix, born in September 2000, and daughter Lucky Rose, born in November 2003. Cedric also has an older daughter, Tiara, from a previous relationship; she was born around 10 years prior to his marriage to Wells.

Although he’s a family man through-and-through, Cedric admits that he hasn’t always been a present father.

“It’s a practice of newer generation dads to be more engaged,” he said on an episode of Man Enough. “The old architects of man say you have to be strong and you have to be a leader of your family and can’t show weakness.”

“I was providing, but not necessarily caring,” he admitted.

His revelation came while his family was quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic. “I take great pride in my kids being my kids because I’m their dad,” he said. “Sometimes you project an image of yourself, but when things slow down, you can see you let someone else do a lot of the work. You have no excuses when you don’t have to be anywhere.”

"The way they keep feeding each other’s high is how loving relationships should be," a fourth echoed.

Conner will be starring in the show, created by viral dance duo Cost n’ Mayor, until May 27.

Another fan, however, called out the fact that the show's cast also includes another DWTSalum, Glee star Heather Morris, who participated in the ballroom dance competition on Season 24.

"Whitney Levett [sic] and Heather Morris on stage together?! It’s a win for the Dancing with the Stars fans!!!!" they said.

Conner's stage debut, at New York's Orpheum Theatre, comes just as Whitney has wrapped up her record-breaking stint as Roxie Hart in 'Chicago: The Musical.'

In a sweet Instagram post, Whitney shared how proud she was of her husband of 10 years.

"Thank you for always giving me my flowers @leavitt.conner but tonight, these flowers are yours," she said. "So incredibly proud of you! THE HOTTEST WIZARD I’VE EVER SEEN."

To which Conner replied in the comments, "What do you call your best friend and biggest supporter? I call mine my wife. I’m so grateful I get to hold your hand through this life. Thank you for being my loudest cheerleader."

The couple tied the knot in 2016 and have three kids together.

What was Final Jeopardy today?

Final Jeopardy today was in the category "2009 NO. 1 HITS."

The clue: "The rapper behind this song said he wanted to rap about "regular guidebook stuff" alongside "the city's gritty side."

The answer: What is Empire State of Mind?

Cheaper by the Cousin came in with $2,600, wagered everything, and came close with an answer of "Empire of State or," ultimately walking away with $0 in what Jost called a "full circle moment."

Jeopardazed and Confused walked into Final Jeopardy with $12,600, answered correctly with a wager of $6,700 (tapping into the 6-7 viral trend, which made Jost facepalm) and a total of $19,300. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to beat One Baddie After Another, who came in with a $27,200 lead. They not only answered correctly but wagered nothing, bringing them to first place, a move Jost jokingly called "weak," adding, "but you have won."

One Baddie After Another advanced to Episode 2.

Quinta Brunson Says This ‘70s Comedy Icon Was ‘Defining’ for Her

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:44am

Abbott Elementarycreator Quinta Brunson has praised Mary Tyler Moore for the impact the comedy legend had on her career.

On Wednesday, May 6, the writer and actor received the Mary Tyler Moore Visionary Award at Variety’s FYC TV Fest in West Hollywood, and paid tribute to its namesake. “That show went platinum in my household,” Brunson told Variety ahead of the event.

Mary Tyler Moore, who passed away at age 80 in January 2017, wasn't just a comedy icon; she broke gender norms and redefined what it meant to be a woman in the entertainment industry. Mary was the first woman to wear pants on television and spent her career pushing back on the limits placed on women in television.

“The Mary Tyler Moore Show was supremely important to me,” Quinta added. “As a kid, I wasn’t necessarily looking for representation or anything other than, ‘This is a really funny show.’ And that theme song is second nature to me!”

The 36-year-old later gushed about her comedy hero and how watching her as a child defined her own career in the industry. Quinta writes and produces Abbott Elementary for which she was honored with a 2022 Peabody Award for her work.

“Seeing her first on ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show,’ she gave me this understanding of how the business could work — that you could be a featured player on one show and then a lead on your own show,” Quinta explained. Seeing Mary move from a supporting role on a beloved comedy to leading her own series demonstrated that women could navigate the industry on their own terms.

Quinta also talks about another defining moment as a young woman involving the actress. “And then have your own business, have your own studio. I remember seeing Mary Tyler Moore on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show,’ and seeing these two incredible women in media and television just sitting there chatting it up; that was really defining for me. It made me never question whether or not I could do this.”

4 Birth Months With Strong Boundaries

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:41am

Boundaries have become an increasingly hot topic over the last few years. Boundaries come as a form of self-protection. Having strong limits and defined "no's" makes it so much easier to fend off manipulation and gaslighting to break toxic cycles. Even popular podcasters, like Alex Cooper from Call Her Daddy, have covered what it means to set boundaries and why it happens. Although having strong boundaries seems theoretically easy, people born in these four months are naturals with asserting their boundaries.

According to astrologers, there are four birth months with firm boundaries. Individuals born during these four months are self-assured of what they will or won’t do. They don’t compromise their morals, standards, or values for anyone. You may want to consider taking a page out of January’s, April’s, November’s, and December’s books to adopt stronger boundaries. Read on to discover why these four birth months have strong boundaries and how these individuals embrace being so assertive.

Which Birth Months Have Strong Boundaries?

Check for the month you were born for pro insights.

January: High Standards = Strong Boundaries

People born in January don’t have time, energy, or attention to waste. These individuals have very little bandwidth, given that they’re a fabulous mix of stoic Capricorn and aloof Aquarius. Some may say they’re a little cold in their delivery, but January doesn’t want anyone to think they might be the exception to January’s rules. If they don’t want to do something, go somewhere, or be around another person, they won’t. January’s boundaries are ironclad. They don’t budge for anyone or anything, because they don’t want to lower their standards for tomfoolery they’ll surely regret. January’s self-worth and self-respect reinforce their boundaries, making them stronger than ever.

RELATE?: Your Perfect Ice Cream, Based on Birth Month

April: Boundaries Assert Your Self-Focus

If April doesn’t want to do it, they simply won’t. Those born in April share the strength of Aries and the steadfastness of Taurus. Having this cosmic combination gives April a completely unwavering stance on what they will do, pursue, or commit to. April’s determination and resolution give them the reputation for having strong boundaries. People born during this month are highly selective about what they will compromise on. Their Aries side doesn’t like diverting their attention and energy away from self-focused ventures. Meanwhile, their Taurus side doesn’t like giving a situation or connection their all if there’s no pay-off. April views having boundaries as a form of self-preservation.

NEXT: The 4 Birth Months Who Always See the Best in Everyone

November: Empowered & In Control

Boundaries weren’t easy to come by for those born in November. People with this birth month share the emotional plight of Scorpio and Sagittarius’ desire for frankness. Having this cosmic mix means that October-born might have struggled being upfront about what they did or didn’t want earlier in life. They might have been walked all over by peers, family members, and more until they decided enough was enough. Unlike the other birth months, November had to work extra hard to actualize their strong boundaries. Although it might have taken a bit longer, November knows just how powerful they are once they embrace their boundaries.

December: Good-Natured, But Firm

December has a surprisingly positive attitude when they set their boundaries. Other birth months may come across as detached, cold, or even a little aggressive, but not December. People born during this month have Capricorn’s reserved attitude, but they also embrace Sagittarius’ optimism. Having a little bit of Sagittarius in them gives December-born a more palpable delivery. Everyone knows December means it when they say no; however, December’s assertiveness doesn’t feel nearly as intimidating or aloof as the other birth months. Some may not even recognize when December is stating their boundaries, because individuals with this birth month express their where they stand with an easygoing, jovial tone.

Junior’s Cheesecake Just Gave New York Desserts a Craft Beer Twist

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:38am

Junior's Restaurant and Bakery is proving that you can drink your dessert with its brand-new range of craft beers.

The limited-edition lineup from the New York City staple features four delectable beers inspired by the restaurant's dessert flavors — Strawberry Dream Imperial IPA, Key Lime Cheesecake Sour IPA, Egg Cream Milk Stout, and Black & White Cream Ale. Strawberry Dream Imperial was crafted with Junior's renowned Strawberry Cheesecake flavor in mind and is described as a "hazy oat cream IPA." Meanwhile, the Key Lime Cheesecake Sour features "lime-forward hops, graham crackers, milk sugar, and oats."

Additionally, the Egg Cream Milk Stout is a duplicate of the New York Egg cream. Made with three simple ingredients of seltzer water, milk, and chocolate syrup, the New York Egg cream was a very popular treat between the 1900s and the 1950s. Junior's beer-flavored version is made with the same Fox's U-Bet syrup found in the original New York Egg creams of yore.

Then there's the Black & White Cream Ale, "brewed with cacao nibs and vanilla" in honor of New York's iconic black-and-white cookie, which was invented in Manhattan.

Junior's teamed up with fellow Brooklyn mainstay, Other Half Brewery, to particularly make the former's craft beer dream a reality. "I have always wanted to expand our brand into the alcohol business. What better way to achieve this than by partnering our legendary desserts with an up-and-coming Brooklyn-based legend?" said Junior's owner Alan Rosen.

Junior's Restaurant and Bakery has been in business since 1950, serving millions of New York locals and out-of-town devotees its signature cheesecakes, along with other sweet treats, drinks, and merchandise. The eatery has become part of mainstream pop culture, with appearances in movies such as Sex and the City: The Movie and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, as well as a notable reference in the 2003 reality TV series Making the Band 2, led by Sean "Diddy" Combs. Other Half Brewery was established in 2014 with a singular goal: to "push the boundaries of beer and the culture that surrounds it" in an effort to represent the "Other Half" of the beer industry.

Junior's x Other Half brews are now available in cans and on draft at all Other Half and Junior's New York locations. Orders for shipment through select East Coast retailers have also begun, with other states to follow via Other Half's online store.

Hesitant to answer Kmetko’s requests to identify her new boyfriend, Cassidy eventually answered.

“Well, his name is Alan Hamel, who was married to Suzanne Somers for many years,” she shared.

Sienna Miller Welcomes Third Child

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:33am

Sienna Miller is a mom…again! The actress recently welcomed her third child, telling E! News, “It’s happened.”

Miller already has two children: 13-year-old Marlowe with her ex, Tom Sturridge, and a two-year-old with her current beau, Oli Green. The newest addition to her family is her second child with Green.

So, how is Miller handling her growing brood? She jokingly revealed, “It feels like stringing sentences together is a bit challenging,” and shared, “I’m on very little sleep, but I’m madly in love with my baby.”

Who Is Sienna Miller’s Boyfriend?

The 44-year-old actress has dated some pretty famous celebs. In the early 2000s, Miller met actor Jude Law on the set of Alfie. By 2004, the pair were engaged. Of course, their picture-perfect romance didn’t last. In 2004, news of a cheating scandal broke, and the couple split. Law famously (or rather, infamously) cheated on Miller with the nanny of his children. While Law has seven (yes, seven!) kiddos now, back in the early ‘00s, he had three with actress Sadie FrostRafferty, Iris, and Rudy. But the actor and Miller never had children together.

Following the initial split, the couple reunited in 2009. But alas, it was not meant to be, and they parted ways again in 2011. During their time apart, Law had another child, Sophia (born in 2009), with ex-girlfriend Samantha Burke. He and current wife, Phillipa Coan, welcomed their first child in 2020 and their second in 2023.

After the second split from Law, Miller started dating British actor Tom Sturridge. The couple had a daughter, Marlowe, in 2012. Even though they were engaged, the pair called it off in 2015.

And that brings us to Miller’s latest relationships. She was linked to director Bennett Miller and engaged to editor/publisher Lucus Zwirner, but neither romance worked out. Miller started dating current boyfriend, actor and model Oli Green, in 2021.

Who Are Sienna Miller’s Children?

While Miller has publicly shared her daughter Marlowe’s name, she’s kept her two younger kiddos’ names private. And while we don’t have any info on her newborn’s name, she did give fans a glimpse into her most recent pregnancy during an interview with Glamour last March. As an obviously “older” mom, Miller claims that being pregnant in her 40s “is the best.” The actress went on to say, “Having a baby at 29, and having a baby at 42, and now 44, it's so much easier when you don’t have the conflict of feeling scattered and like you want to be doing X, Y, Z.” She added, “Life is in a more grounded space. I think the 30s are chaos.”

If you’re wondering if getting pregnant in her 40s was a challenge, the new mama admitted, “I froze my eggs. That was really revealing. I didn’t use them. I was really fortunately able to just get pregnant, but it was an existential relief having done that in my late 30s.”

Congrats to Miller, Green, and their growing blended family of five!

Fans Rediscover Iconic '80s Supergroup That Formed on a Whim: 'The Greatest of All Time'

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:26am

Sometimes, very rarely, a piece of art will emerge that feels specially created just for me. I'll watch a film or hear a song that is just so in line with my taste that it's scary. Regardless of the year, I've had different things transcend and find me. That's exactly what happened when I discovered The Traveling Wilburys.

Not a lot of people get to say that all of their favorite musicians started a band together, but I get to because of this insane band consisting of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison.

The band formed in 1988 to record a bonus track on Harrison's upcoming European single release. The song that resulted from this session was "Handle With Care," the band's most famous song. They all new they had something special, and decided to record a full album. "The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1" was born.

@rockhall

When @bobdylan, Roy Orbison, @tompetty, @georgeharrison, and @jefflynneselo joined forces 🎤 Known as The Traveling Wilburys, the group came together by pure accident in April 1988, when Harrison needed a B-side for a European release. While recording “Handle with Care,” something clicked — so they kept going. One album turned into two, and what started as a simple session became one of the most iconic supergroups of all time. #thetravelingwilburys #bobdylan #georgeharrison #tompetty #jefflynne

♬ original sound - Rock Hall - Rock Hall

The Rock Hall chose to upload a throwback post recently highlighting the legendary status of the group. The clip comes from the music video for the aforementioned hit "Handle With Care," and as someone who has known about this group for a long time, it's still very surreal seeing all of these guys performing together.

The star power in the lineup is just overwhelming, with the post saying that they're "possibly the greatest supergroup of all time." Fans agreed.

"Not “possibly “. DEFINITELY. 🥰"

"Just 5 buddies having a good time. Rock on."

"THE greatest."

Vol. 1 was a huge success. It was an exciting time for the group that was quickly squandered by the unfortunate passing of Orbison, who didn't live to see the success of the first record. The band would meet again one other time for their 1990 release "The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3," which was intentionally mis-numbered.

The group sort of drifted apart after that point, leaving themselves as a fascinating and legendary chapter in music history. Whether you're a fan already, or learning of them for the first time, the Wilburys are an awesome musical experiment that stands the test of time.

1999 Sci-Fi Hit Wanted Sandra Bullock for Gender-Swapped Concept — What If?

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:24am

What if the Sandra Bullock movie that preceded Miss Congeniality were a science-fiction sensation known as The Matrix?

More than 25 years later, the movie remains an all-time favorite for many cinephiles around the world. And it was confirmed by a producer back in 2019 — AKA the iconic film's 20th anniversary — that Bullock, 61, was actually considered for the role of Neo before Keanu Reeves. Who would have thought?

“We went out to so many people I don’t remember. We were getting desperate,” producer Lorenzo di Bonaventuratold TheWrap. “We went to Sandy Bullock and said ‘We’ll change Neo to a girl.’ [Producer] Joel Silver and I worked with Sandy on Demolition Man, and she was and continues to be a very good friend of mine. It was pretty simple. We sent her the script to see if she was interested in it. And if she was interested in it we would try to make the change.”

Di Bonaventura, 69, continued, “The first movie star who says yes is Brad Pitt. He’s doing Seven Years in Tibet, and then he’s coming out of it, and he’s like, ‘I’m way too exhausted to take this on.’ So, he’s gone. Then, we go to Leonardo [DiCaprio]. He says yes, we have meetings with him and then he goes, ‘You know, I can’t go do another visual effects movie having just finished Titanic, and he drops out. Then Will Smith joins it, and he drops out.”

Smith, 57, talked about turning the role down in a YouTube video amid the film's 20-year milestone, per Vanity Fair, saying he mainly passed because of how the Wachowskis pitched their vision for The Matrix.

“As it turns out, they’re geniuses,” Smith said in his upload. “But there’s a fine line in a pitch meeting between genius and what I experienced in the meeting.”

Smith proceeds to mimic the filmmakers' pitching style to help prove his point — but said there are no hard feelings and that “Keanu was perfect” in the end result.

Iconic '70s Rocker Lands Exciting New Screen Project—a First in Over a Decade

Mon, 05/11/2026 - 10:23am

Blondie's Debbie Harry is headed to the big screen, which she'll share with TV icon Pamela Anderson.

The iconic rocker, who was the lead vocalist for Blondie in the 1970s and 1980s, with hits including “One Way or Another” and “Heart of Glass," will make her screen return with her first acting credit in over a decade.

Harry is dusting off her acting skills once again, though she’s no stranger to the screen with more than a dozen on-screen projects to her name.

The latest will have the 80-year-old taking on the role of the Baywatch alum's mother in the comedy, Maitreya.

Deadline reported it is launching on the Cannes market, revealing that Anderson will play Maitreya, "a rising star in the New Age Healing community who is about to head off to a conference in India when she receives a call from her estranged sister, Monica: their father is dying. Rather than stay home with him, Maitreya decides to bring her entire family – including her mother Barbara (Harry) – to the conference and put her New Age healing theories to the test (all while surreptitiously gathering material for her next book)."

Portlandia co-creator and Emmy-nominee, Jonathan Krisel, will direct the film, with the script penned by The Whale's Samuel D. Hunter.

It is set to shoot at the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Harry is staying busy, working on a new Blondie album, High Noon, with former boyfriend and guitarist Chris Stein. The twelfth studio album is set for release in the spring of 2026. Tour plans have been put on hiatus for now following the death of the band's drummer, Clem Burke, in 2025, following a private battle with cancer.

As for screen projects, IMDB reveals Harry is also set to take part in an ensemble crime comedy, A Company of Thieves, though not much is known about it currently. The synopsis reveals that it "follows a trio of petty criminals as they embark on bizarre heists across New York City, including stealing a million-dollar Prince Albert, while intersecting with a struggling tech company facing AI-driven layoffs."

In a blink-and-you'll miss it moment, the music icon also made an appearance on SNL recently, introducing Olivia Rodrigo's "Drop Dead" performance.
