Beloved ’80s Rock Band Pulls Out of First-Ever Aussie Shows Due to Health Emergency
Fans hoping to finally see Loverboy perform live in Australia will have to wait a little longer.
The band has been forced to withdraw from Wanstock 2026, which would have marked Loverboy’s first-ever live performances in Australia, after a member of the group was hospitalized and deemed unable to travel, according to Noise11.
Festival organizers confirmed this week that The Romantics will step in as the replacement act for Loverboy at the Sydney and Melbourne shows scheduled for March.

According to the report, the decision was made after it became clear that one of Loverboy’s members would not be able to make the long-haul trip due to the health situation. No further details about the condition have been released, but it is concerning because the festival is six weeks away, so it must be fairly serious.
The cancellation comes as a disappointment for longtime Australian fans, particularly given how close the band appeared to finally making the journey. Just a week ago, Loverboy keyboardist Doug Johnson spoke enthusiastically about the upcoming shows, calling Australia the one major territory the band had never toured despite decades of chart success there.
In that interview with Australian Musician, Johnson reflected on Loverboy’s enduring popularity in Australia, where classics like “Working for the Weekend” and “Turn Me Loose” earned gold and platinum sales. He described the long-awaited trip as both an honor and a celebration, noting his personal connection to the country after previously spending time living in Melbourne.

When asked, "Why have you never toured Australia when you had so much success here?," Johnson said, "You know, that's a very good question."
"I wish I had a really solid answer for you … I always lamented the fact that we never got down there, and I really don't know why we have toured endlessly everywhere else in the world," said Johnson, adding that "it's such an honor" to get to play in Australia finally.
For Wanstock organizers, the late change still keeps the festival’s classic-rock focus intact. The Romantics—best known for enduring hits like “What I Like About You” and “Talking in Your Sleep”—will now make their return to Australian stages as part of the 2026 lineup.
Wanstock’s Melbourne dates remain set for March 20 and 21 at the Shoppingtown Hotel in Doncaster, with additional performances across the weekend featuring a mix of Australian and international rock veterans. Friday’s lineup includes Strait Shooters, Stonetrip, Bachelor Girl, Dragon and headliners 1927. Saturday’s schedule features Daydreamers, Standing Room Only, The Machinations, Pseudo Echo, with The Romantics now filling the top slot originally reserved for Loverboy.

Fourth Artist Pulls Out of Controversial Rock the Country Music Festival
Shinedown will no longer be participating in the Rock the Country music festival.
The rock band shared their decision via Instagram on Friday, Feb. 6.
"SHINEDOWN is everyone's band. We feel that we have been given a platform to bring all people together through the power of music and song," the message began. "We have one BOSS, and it is everyone in the audience. Our band's purpose is to unite, not divide. With that in mind, we have made the decision that we will not be playing the Rock The Country Festival."
"We know this decision will create differences of opinion. But we do not want to participate in something we believe will create further division," the band continued. "And to our fans, thank you for supporting and believing in us. We love and appreciate you always."
As anticipated, fans had mixed reactions in the comment section.
"I respect you guys even more. 🙌💙💙💙," wrote one fan. "It's a shame nobody can leave politics out of music...it USED to be 1 of the few things that united us in times like these..." commented another.
"😭😭 so so thankful to read this. This is definitely the men I have supported. 🤍," added a third. "Thank you for listening and doing the right thing." said a fourth.
"Oh this makes me sad. The music festival is all about celebrating our country's 250th anniversary🇺🇸🙏🏻♥️," wrote a fifth. "How is this divisive? I just love your band, but don't understand this decision?"

Shinedown is now the fourth artist to pull out of the controversial festival following Ludacris, Morgan Wade, and Carter Faith.
Ludacris was the first artist to drop out in January, with his rep telling Rolling Stone that he was never supposed to be on the lineup, and that his inclusion had been the result of a “mix-up.”
“Lines got crossed and he wasn’t supposed to be on there,” the rep said at the time.
Wade and Faith followed in the rapper’s footsteps, quietly canceling their appearances without a public explanation.

The festival, which celebrates the 250th birthday of the United States of America, will be held in eight small towns across the country from May to September. Some of the headliners include Kid Rock, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Jelly Roll, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, and Ella Langley, among others.
The event has been dubbed a “MAGA fest” online, as headliners like Kid Rock and Aldean are vocal supporters of PresidentDonald Trump.
According to their website, Rock the Country is “more than just a festival, it’s a celebration of community, tradition, and the spirit that’s carried America through 250 years.”
“It’s where neighbors become friends, families come together under the wide-open sky, and folks from every walk of life share the simple joy of great music and good company,” the description continued. “As we honor this milestone 250th year, every song, every laugh and every toast feels a little bigger. It’s a chance to look around and appreciate the strength of our towns, the stories that shaped us, and the moments we’ll be talking about long after the lights go down.”
While promoting the festival on Instagram, Kid Rock wrote, “It’s 2026, America turns 250, and Rock The Country is marking the moment the right way: loud music, small towns, and the people who make this country great.”
Rock the Country kicks off in Bellville, Texas, in May before heading to Bloomingdale, Georgia, that same month. Throughout the summer, the festival will make stops in South Dakota, Kentucky, South Carolina, Michigan and Florida before closing with a two-day musical event in Hamburg, New York, in September.
Quinton Aaron's 'Spiritual Wife' Banned From Hospital Room Amid Actor's Health Battle
The Blind Side actor Quinton Aaron's wife has reportedly been barred from entering his hospital room, as the family raised concerns over their marriage. Aaron is currently hospitalized after collapsing in his Atlanta home.
According to US Weekly, Aaron's family decided to ban his wife, Margarita Aaron, from the actor's room as he recovers from a reported spinal stroke. Their decision came after raising concerns about the legitimacy of their marriage, with Margarita having previously said she is "spiritually married" to Aaron.
The family has also revealed they discovered unsettling details about Margarita, including her being married to another man for 34 years. A statement also confirmed their speculations about her legitimacy as a registered nurse.
"Since the health crisis of our beloved family member Quinton Aaron, we have raised some suspicions about the legitimacy of Quinton and Margarita's marriage to each other, as well as her legitimacy as a registered nurse. We have found some alarming details," they said in a statement.
Margarita has also confirmed the family's ban on her entering the hospital room, but stated she's "at peace" with their decision.
"I'm okay with it, I'm at peace with this. Quinton and I pray a lot and believe in God and believe in a higher power. I can feel his presence telling me this will work itself out," she stated.

Aaron's family has also decided to hold off on speaking with the actor about his wife as he recovers, with Margarita having allegedly tried to isolate him from his family when they made their statement public. She has since denied the claims, stating hospital staff had limited visitation.
It appears the accusations by Aaron's family did have some weight, as Margarita confirmed she was legally married to another man. She explains they have been separated for some time and are in the process of finalizing their divorce, and hopes Aaron's family only focuses on the actor's recovery.
The Blind Side actor collapsed in late January while walking up stairs in his home. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for a severe blood infection and put on life support. A week later, Aaron had a spinal cord stroke that he's currently recovering from.
Ozzy Osbourne Thought This Black Sabbath Cover Was 'The Creepiest Thing He'd Ever Heard'
What could frighten the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne? Apparently, Swedish lounge music.
The Cardigans are best known for their 1990s anthem, "Lovefool" (to the point that they're often considered "one-hit wonders," despite having a second hit in America with "My Favorite Game"). Another thing many might not know about the band: they're huge Black Sabbath fans and covered one of their songs on their debut album, Emmerdale.

"We were big [Black Sabbath] fans – for a heavy band there's a real pop sentiment in the songwriting – and I think it's interesting when a cover is a stretch away from your natural sound," said Nina Persson, lead singer and lyricist for the Swedish pop-rock group, in a new interview with The Guardian.
Emmerdale includes a lounge version of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," the title track to Black Sabbath's fifth album. It's the kind of song you'd expect to play at Otto's Shrunken Head while hip cats sip on tiki drinks while sitting under a Shag painting or two. It's quite a different take on the fuzzed-out heavy metal banger, and that was the point.
"As a woman, I thought singing a song done by very manly men gave it a wonderfully creepy aspect," said Persson
"Ozzy came to see us in Los Angeles and said it was the creepiest thing he'd ever heard, which, coming from him, is the biggest compliment," she added.
The Cardigans have covered Ozzy and Black Sabbath throughout their careers. They included a take on "Mr. Crowley" as the B-side to their 1995 single, "Carnival" (h/t Metal Hammer). The Cardigans also covered "Changes" during a BBC Radio 2 live session in 2003.
The Cardigans also included a version of "Iron Man" on their third album, First Band on the Moon, which also featured "Lovefool." Bolstered by the hit "Lovefool" (helped, in part, by its inclusion on the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack), First Band on the Moon went Platinum in the US, Canada and Japan.
In a 2018 interview with NME, Persson discussed the "Ozziest" thing she's ever done. While recording Grand Turismo, she lived in a house in the countryside. "I sat in my own room in the attic recording vocals, and I found a dead bat, and I kept it and put it up in front of my desk while I was working. I'd sing to it. (Laughs) I didn't bite the head off it, sadly."
Ozzy Osbourne passed away in 2025, shortly after his farewell concert as a solo artist and with Black Sabbath, Back to the Beginning.

Spotify Data Goes Viral After Comparing Bad Bunny to Kid Rock & Turning Point USA’s Performer Lineup
We're just days away from the 2026 Super Bowl, which includes the Halftime Show featuring Bad Bunny.
There's been plenty of debate and controversy surrounding his upcoming performance, with Turning Point USA, the conservative organization founded by the late Charlie Kirk, announcing their own "alternative" halftime show with performers Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
The conversation surrounding the 15-minute show even prompted a sharp response from Erika Kirk, Kirk's widow, who claims Turning Point USA’s version is the “pro-America” option for viewers boycotting the NFL's choice.
During an appearance on The Story with Martha MacCallum with guest host Trace Gallagher, Kirk said Turning Point USA’s counter-programming was both a cultural statement and a tribute to her late husband, noting, “It’s powerful, because what Charlie always loved and knew is that he wanted to be in the forefront of the culture war."
“He would be fist-pumping with this. He’d be so stoked," she added.
The "culture wars" prompted a comparison of Spotify monthly listeners between Bad Bunny and the full Turning Point USA lineup, with the former far outpacing the collective headliners by tens of millions more listens.
The data highlights a "massive disparity" in audience reach, showcasing that the Latin artist remains a dominant force in music around the world, further underscoring the NFL's decision to give the Puerto Rican artist the spotlight.
Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, boasts 85.3 million monthly listeners on the Spotify platform, while the Turning Point artists' combined total is just a little less than 17 million.
When broken down by individual, Kid Rock had 5.2 million monthly listeners, Lee Brice had 4.9 million, Gabby Barrett had 3.9 million and Brantley Gilbert had 2.9 million.
View this post on InstagramBad Bunny's performance comes on the heels of his historic Album of the Year win at the Grammys, where he became the first artist to win the category for a record sung entirely in Spanish.
And further proof of Bad Bunny's global reach comes as he marks another new era for Latin music, becoming the first Spanish-language album in history to reach #1 on Apple Music China.
Who ends up taking the ratings win on Sunday, Feb. 8, is to be determined. The Super Bowl LX kickoff is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. ET, broadcasting live on NBC and Telemundo, along with streaming services like Peacock.
Turning Point U.S.A's show will stream on their networks, including Real America’s Voice and OAN.

'Frasier' Star Kelsey Grammer Shares Blunt Take on People Who Find Donald Trump 'Annoying'
Kelsey Grammeris satisfied with the way Donald Trump is handling his second term in office, even if others don't feel the same way.
During a recent appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, the 70-year-old actor doubled-down on his support for the president, who he previously labeled as "one of the best" presidents the U.S. has ever seen.
In his conversation with Kelly, which dropped on Thursday, Feb. 5, Grammer specifically praised how often Trump speaks with the press and appears in the media, even if some people may find it "annoying."
"I think he's doing really well. It's annoying to a lot of people," the Frasier alum stated. "I think he's doing a wonderful job."
"It's not popular sometimes, but the man speaks his mind and you know where he stands," he continued, before declaring, "I've never seen a more transparent presidency in my life."
View this post on InstagramFor Grammer, he can't understand why some folks aren't pleased with the way Trump is doing things, particularly when it comes to his communication with the press.
"I mean, he talks every day to the press," Grammer said. "Some people don't like it. I don't know why they don't like it."
"Because we spent years hearing from the previous guy two or three times," he said of former president Joe Biden, while stating, "It was a belligerence that seemed to come from a very weak position."
Also during his conversation with Kelly, Grammer confirmed that his outward support of Trump has "probably cost him some jobs," and at least one friend. He confirmed that the friend he was referring to was not Bryan Cranston, despite Kelly's claim that the Breaking Bad alum is "abandoning everybody who is right of center."
Noting that he has "heard that" about Cranston, Grammer insisted, "I like to live where I can live...I would not actually be able to tolerate living on that side of the line. So, it's okay."
Travis Kelce Says Taylor Swift Has 'Made Him So Much Better' at This One Thing
In the more than two years since Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift, he's gained one very important skill: knowing to ask follow-up questions! During a special visit to his sister-in-law Kylie Kelce's Not Gonna Lie podcast on Feb. 6, the 36-year-old admitted his ability to gather information (for his fiancée's benefit) has greatly improved.
RELATED: Elmo Wins for Most Hilarious Reaction to Taylor Swift’s ‘Opalite’ Music Video
While Kylie, 33, and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end were reminiscing about when they first met, the podcast host asked whether her own NFL pro husband, Jason Kelce, ever told Travis about her.
"Nothing. No. Me and Jason, we never talk about any of that stuff," he admitted. Kylie wasn't surprised, saying, "Jason is notorious for that. I'll find something out from someone else and I'll say, 'Hey, did you know that this happened?' And he will say, 'Yeah.'" Kylie admitted that when she tries to dig for details, his attitude is, "I don't know and I don't care to know."
"I call them girl questions," Kylie joked. "'Cause they're only questions girls would ask."
"Taylor's made me so much better at that," Travis shared. "You get the details."
On Feb. 5, Travis attended the 2026 NFL Honors as he was up for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Taylor "couldn't go," but he made sure to keep her in mind: first by hanging out in the DJ booth at an after party while Taylor's "The Fate of Ophelia" played, and by doing his best to remember details from the night to share.
"The whole time I'm saying hi to all these familiar faces and some friends of Taylor... and I'm just like, 'All right, got to remember saw that person,'" he said. "I'm like throwing them in like my memory bank [thinking] 'Don't forget, cause she's going to want some details 'cause she didn't get a chance to go.'"

"And and then the beers just make a lot of the details go away," he joked. "You're just like, 'This is how I never remember the details.'"
Swift and Kelce’s romance became one of Hollywood's most talked-about love stories after they began dating in the summer of 2023, with Swift making her first appearance at a Chiefs game in September of that year.
After nearly two years together, including Kelce joining Swift onstage during her Eras Tour and multiple viral moments, the couple shared their engagement news on Instagram on Aug. 26, 2025, following a private proposal roughly two weeks earlier.

In a video posted to TikTok and Instagram, a mustached and Hawaiian shirt-wearing Cooper hovered over a birthday cake decorated with green icing, a golf ball, and mini golf course flags. Fleetwood, 78, and Hagar, 78, were seen in the shot as the guests began to sing “Happy Birthday” to the rock legend at a table that had wine glasses and cans of ginger ale on it.
“Pick a key,” Cooper joked as the singers continued. After the song was done, Cooper asked if there was a “trick candle" in the cake, before blowing it out.
Hagar captioned the clip with, “Happy birthday @alicecooper i'm so glad the fire department stepped in about the amount of candles on the cake said it was a fire hazard. 🔥 #funnight always a pleasure hanging with @mickfleetwoodofficial & @supermenschshep on Island.”

“Happy birthday legend❤️surrounded by legends!” one fan wrote.
“Wow! What a room. Rock & Roll legends! 😮😮😮,” added another.
“What a great gathering, I feel so blessed to have been born in the era of classic rock and all of these originals, different music, original personalities, and long-lasting songs. Happy birthday, Mr. Cooper,” another chimed in.

Cooper has been sober for more than 40 years, so it appears he skipped a traditional birthday toast. In 2025, he told People magazine he quit alcohol completely because he was unable to stop at one drink. "I have absolutely no desire to ever put alcohol in my mouth again, or any drug," he said.
The rocker's love for golf is also well known. Cooper has even said that golf saved his life. “I traded one bad habit for another habit, only this habit (golf) was a lot healthier,” he once told Billboard in an interview. “Golf ended up being a good trade-off.”
The golf-themed 78th birthday bash isn’t the first time Cooper has hung out with Hagar and Fleetwood. In April 2025, he was photographed with the Gordon, Hagar, and Fleetwood, as well as Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler, after they all had dinner together in Maui.
‘Newhart’ Star Julia Duffy Is 74 and Stunning on the Red Carpet
Julia Duffy was a beloved blonde during her time on Newhart, but she's even more stunning at 74.
The acclaimed actress, 74, was known for her role as Stephanie Vanderkellen on Newhart, which starred comedy titan Bob Newhart as an author and innkeeper in a bucolic Vermont town. Duffy’s character was a spoiled cousin who tried to survive as the inn’s maid, despite feeling a bit too high-and-mighty for the job. She starred in the role from 1983 until 1990, when the hit series ended its run.
After the show concluded, Duffy headed to Designing Women to play Allison Sugarbaker, and eventually landed on the popular kids' network Nickelodeon to appear on the series Drake & Josh. Also boasting an acclaimed theater actress, fans are thrilled to see Duffy back on TV screens with a role as Mary Jones Davidsoul on Palm Royale, the popular Apple TV series that follows the drama of '60s high society in Palm Beach, Florida, starring Kristen Wiig, Leslie Bibb, Josh Lucas, and comedy icon Carol Burnett. But Duffy also has another exciting TV role on deck: She appears in the Peacock black comedy series The 'Burbs, an adaptation of the 1989 film of the same name. Duffy hit the red carpet this week and dazzled the crowds with her stunning smile.

Hollywood's Complex Aging GameIn a 2024 podcast appearance, Duffy spoke about how aging in Hollywood is “very awkward.”
During an appearance on Steve Kmetko’s podcast, Still Here Hollywood, Kmetko asked Duffy if aging in Hollywood had affected her.
“I’ll tell you something that drives me up a wall, because it’s symbolic of all of it,” Duffy said. “I have read for and actually played the role of a woman who’s older, that they have named Myrna — that takes place present day.”
PEOPLE pointed out that the role was for an appearance on Melissa & Joey in 2010.
“Now, I know what people were named who are my age, now. We were Patty and Kathy and Susie. These women that they write in older roles could have been at Woodstock,” said Duffy. “If you’re having them be 70 today in 2024.”
“You have to write the person and not the type. And it is very disappointing to me how much even younger writers seem to be writing Aunt Bee or something when they write an older person and not an individual,” Duffy continued. “I hope they’re listening and I know you have the talent to do it. Make that a real person.”

Quad Webb Addresses That 'Tense' Gizelle Bryant Moment, Reveals Who Crossed a Line and Says Season 12 is 'On Fire' (Exclusive)
Quad Webb is feeling blessed. The reality TV legend is currently enjoying Season 12 of Married to Medicine, Bravo’s hit series that follows the personal and professional lives of a close-knit group of doctors and doctors' wives in Atlanta.
More popular than ever, the show shows no signs of stopping anytime soon, thanks to thrilling storylines, powerful episodes and standout talent like mainstay Webb. In an exclusive Parade interview, she spills on Season 12, her recent viral moment with Real Housewives of Potomacstar Gizelle Bryant on Watch What Happens Live and teases what fans can expect over the next several episodes.
Quad Webb is one of Bravo's most beloved stars.Bravo
“I just feel so blessed,” Webb tells Parade. “It's just great to see how over the years and over the seasons, we are gaining more fans and people are tuning in to us. You're hearing more about the show and you know how much people are invested in us. It's a true blessing.”
She continues, “Back in 2013 when we aired, I had no idea that even right now—to this day— that I would still be sitting here and talking to you all. There's still so much that has yet to be seen with the ladies of Married to Medicine.”
Webb's got a point. It's one of the longest-running shows on the network, thanks to its solid cast, which has barely changed over the years. Toya Bush-Harris, Dr. Jackie Walters and Dr. Simone Whitmore have been on the show since its first season, while Dr. Heavenly Kimes joined the cast in Season 2. These ladies show it all on the series, letting viewers into the most intimate aspects of their lives—including Webb's current IVF journey.
“First and foremost, it takes a lot of bravery to come forward globally,” she says, when asked about her decision to share something so personal in front of the cameras. “The overwhelming support that I have received, it just makes me want to continue, to share my journey and to know that what I'm doing is not in vain.”
Her IVF journey continues throughout Season 12 and it's resonating deeply with viewers. “Knowing and understanding that there is no flaw here, that it is not up to you, but it's up to God in his timing and in the alignment," she shares. "And I think when you understand that, it makes it a lot easier to be able to receive whatever the outcome may be.”
Webb does not take her platform lightly. She knows that sharing her journey will genuinely will help others. “When you see the platform that you do have, you want to be able to utilize that to be a storyteller, to help someone else, to change the trajectory of what someone else may be thinking or their life," she explains.
"I think that makes it all worthwhile because reality TV is tough, you know?" she continues. "Reality TV can be mentally taxing, emotionally taxing. But it's great that in the midst of all of this, there's still a lesson that needs to be learned, and people can sit back and say, 'You know what? I can relate to her.'"
While Webb’s personal journey is a main storyline of the season, the show is not without its signature drama, as Webb continues to reestablish her place within the group (fans may remember Webb was on an island all by herself just two years ago.) While she is on much sturdier ground this time around, she still clashes with Dr. Simone and others from time to time.
“The same thing that makes me want to move forward with her is the same thing that hurts me so deeply when I feel that she has crossed a line," Webb says of her relationship with Dr. Simone.

"I truly do love Simone," she continues. "Us coming back together—that's a love pulling us back together, and when I'm upset with her and I'm mad, it's the love that's making me mad. I'm like, ‘How can we have this type of love between us? How can you love me, but then you do and say certain things that hurt me?’ I think maybe she would say the same thing."
As for her renewed place within this friend group, Webb explains she is relieved to be past the darker drama of years’ past. “I was always defending and fighting and anyone would get tired of it," she says. "Like, I have so much more inside of me and what I give and what I bring to the room, you know? Listen, I love to have a great time. When I'm around, you're going to feel a light that's there because it's me surely pouring into you.”
Webb has also gained a reputation as being one of the best “shade assassins” in the Bravo-verse, often appearing on The Reading Room, a popular BravoCon segment dedicated to the shadiest Bravolebrities. On a recent episode of WWHL, Webb found herself going viral when she lightly shaded Gizelle Bryant, confronting her after the RHOP star made some shady comments about Married to Medicine on her “Reasonably Shady” podcast with Robyn Dixon.
“There's no beef at all,” Webb tells us. “I've always liked Gizelle … I did not realize how many people kind of feel indifferent about her, because I've always liked her. Even when I spoke with her on Watch What Happens Live … I happened to see the podcast where they said Married to Medicine was recycling the girls and all the things, I was like, 'Oh, okay, well, this is what I'm a part of, so we're going to talk about that.'"
As for the rest of the season, Webb urges fans to continue to tune in, revealing that the episodes just get "better and better." She teases, "It just continues to heat up. It's on fire. It's on fire. It is a really good season."
Season 12 of Married to Medicine airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo, with episodes streaming next day on Peacock.

T.I. Remembers How He Once Talked Creed Frontman Off a Hotel Balcony Decades Ago
T.I. is revisiting the story of how he persuaded Creed frontman Scott Stapp from jumping off a hotel balcony that happened over 10 years ago. The rapper retold details of how he stopped the singer's attempted suicide.
In a new episode ofStill 400 — The Mannie & Juvie Show, the 41-year-old rapper retold the story after being asked about a Rolling Stone report that he saved another man in 2010. T.I. backtracked to when he stopped Creed's Stapp from jumping off his hotel balcony after a chaotic night.
He recalled checking into a Miami hotel with a friend and his wife, Tiny, in 2005. While stepping onto the balcony for a smoke, T.I. began hearing strange grumbling noises. At first, he assumed it was his friend's stomach, but as the sound grew louder, he started looking around to figure out where it was coming from.

"So this particular balcony, half of it was covered. And then the other half, you could walk to the rail and look over. So I walk out to the rail and look up. And it's a man, a white man. And he's like mumbling, talking to himself, groaning. And he couldn't move. He was trying to move, but couldn't move," T.I. explained.
The rapper asked the person if they were alright, and then learned he was trying to get from one room to another "because he say his girl was in there cheating on him with his buddy." T.I. speculated that the man had fallen and "wanted to go on and keep jumping" when he decided he needed some help.
"We just kept talking to him, telling him that it wasn't that bad," T.I. said. "The people had done got up there, got him down. And then I think it might have been the next Monday, I found out that that was a dude from Creed, the rock band. He always goes on interviews, telling people that I saved him. I didn't save him. He made the decision to save his own."
TI shares his side of the story on how he stopped Scott Stapp, the lead singer of the rock band "Creed," from committing su*cide while in Miami.

While T.I. says he's not a hero and only did what was right, Stapp has recalled the incident differently in the past. In 2012, he said the suicide attempt took place a year prior while they both worked on The Passion of The Christ: Songs Inspired By soundtrack.
Stapp recalls being at the hotel and "lying on the ledge" when blood fell onto T.I.'s feet from his room down to the rapper's. T.I. then went on to get help for the Creed singer. In 2018, Stapp changed the details again, claiming the rapper found the singer injured after an "accident" and called an ambulance.

Karen Carpenter’s 'Husky' Voice Almost Led to Changing Two Memorable Carpenters Tracks
Known for her perfect vocals, Karen Carpenter once worried her voice was too “husky” on two Carpenters hits.
In a 2022 interview with Goldmine Magazine, her brother, Richard Carpenter, revealed that his sister wasn't happy with her vocals on two songs on the band's 1969 debut LP, Offering. Offering was eventually repackaged and re-released in 1970 with a new cover and title, Ticket to Ride, after their Beatles' cover of the same name.
When asked which song he would love to sing one more time with his sister, the songwriter shared a surprising revelation. He said the duo had considered re-recording two tracks from their debut album.
"There are two that, had she lived, we were going to redo because she was only 19 when we did our first album, and I was 22. In the next two to three years that followed, our voices changed in that they weren’t as husky as they were originally," he explained.

"That’s why she wanted to redo the lead on 'Merry Christmas, Darling' and 'Ticket to Ride,' the remix from ’73, because she wasn’t all that wild about how husky her voice was. So there were two that happened to be Bettis/Carpenter songs, and one that she wanted to redo."
He revealed, "One of them was 'Eve' and that’s a cut on the first album. Actually, the other one was also on the first album, which is called 'Someday.' She mentioned it several times. She wanted to redo them, and I wanted to redo them as well."
Carpenter added that if he had the opportunity to spend more time with his sister, he would heap praise on her for her vocal abilities. They would also record one last song together.
"Well, I would once again let her know just how damn great a singer she was," Carpenter admitted. "One of the songs I would do with her would be 'But Beautiful.' It’s from one of the Bing Crosby road pictures and went on to be a standard."
Karen Carpenter died on February 4, 1983. She was 32.
Kaley Cuoco Has One Simple Rule for 'Toxic' Mom Groups
During a Feb. 5 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kaley Cuoco was asked by a fan to weigh in on the drama surrounding Ashley Tisdale French and her "toxic" mom group. Given that Cuoco has her own tight-knit friend group, fans were curious to hear her thoughts on the buzz surrounding the celebrities involved.
As she shook her head and closed her eyes, Cuoco shared, "I mean, if you don’t like being part of a group, just leave, baby," prompting Cohen to reply, "Right?"
“I don’t think we have to talk about it,” Cuoco added, to which Cohen shared, "Like, write an essay about it.”
“You don’t have to do that,” Cuoco then said. “Just leave … find a new group.”
View this post on InstagramEarlier this year, Tisdale wrote an essay for The Cut, in which she revealed that she had left what she described as a "toxic" mom group after believing other moms were excluding her from group hangouts and social plans.
“Here I was sitting alone one night after getting my daughter to bed, thinking, Maybe I’m not cool enough? All of a sudden, I was in high school again, feeling totally lost as to what I was doing ‘wrong’ to be left out,” she wrote.
Tisdale went on to share that though she did not find "the moms to be bad people," except for one, she believed that the group was no longer "healthy and positive."
"I’m far from the only mother who’s been brought to tears by members of a group that’s supposed to lift everyone up," she shared. Tisdale also urged readers not to speculate about which individuals made up the mom group, though that didn't stop online chatter.
According to People, celebrities rumored to be part of her former mom group include Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainor.
Meanwhile, Cuoco has her own celebrated mom group that includes Lacey Chabert, Ali Fedotowsky, and Kimberly J. Brown. In fact,Us Weekly reported that following Tisdale's essay, a member of Cuoco's mom group named Ashley Jones shared photos of her close-knit group on Instagram and wrote, "Mom groups are having a real moment on the interweb this week. Shoutout to my village, without whom I could be very lost and lonely. Tag your supportive ride or die mom group!"

Q Burdette Is Building His 'Q Wagon' on 'Survivor 50' —and Finalists Are His Targets (Exclusive)
Predicting anything Q Burdette will say about his approach to Survivor 50 would be, for lack of a better term, a big mistake. One of the biggest characters of the new era, the 31-year-old is aiming to initially bring the calm to quell his chaotic perception. But while everyone thinks he's sitting on his hands, they're actually hard at work building a "Q Wagon." And Q already has a plan of who will be in his wagon party on this 26-day Oregon Trail trip, and it involves getting rid of anyone who has sat at a final Tribal Council before. With that river hopefully forged, he'll have a few tools in his arsenal, including a new way of playing with idols, to make sure Q skirts another blindside on the way to victory.
Read on for my interview with Q, and check in with Parade daily for interviews with this season's contestants and other tidbits. Survivor 50 premieres on Feb. 25 with a three-hour episode on CBS.

So it's been an eventful couple of years for you, Q, to say the least. What has life been like for you between 46 and 50?
So last two years I've had a baby, a baby boy. I've always wanted to be a dad. So my son, Ace, had to leave him. He sleeps with me every single night. Emily gets to sleep alone downstairs peacefully, while Ace is wrestling with me at night upstairs. But it's been difficult these first couple of days just being away from them. But I signed up for this. This is what I wanted. And the way 46 ended, my story couldn't stop there.
Did you always feel like you were going to come back once 46 ended?
When 46 ended, I didn't think about, "Oh, I'll play again. They'll want me back." But you don't know how it's going to air. But immediately, I'm talking about the second the game was over, all of my castmates were like, "If anybody is going back from our season, it's gonna be you, Q." I was just like, "Nah, I don't think so." But then I watched the season, and I'm like, "Well, dang, maybe they're right! Maybe this thing is a gift, and I will go back."
And then when I got the call for 50, it's just like getting the call to say, "You know what? You don't have to play the rest of the season. You're automatically in the Super Bowl." Just think about what that would feel like for a team. They can start to prepare, start to get excited about something. And to be a part of this, the biggest season yet, Season 50: In the Hands of the Fans, it doesn't get any better than this.
Let's get into your approach for your second season. Because I think a lot of people largely regard your game as, "Q was chaotic. He caused mayhem." Is that a perception you're going to try to steer into?
So my first, I would say, however many days it takes, is going to be Q sitting on his hands a little bit. Trying to repair what they think is broken within myself, of being chaotic. Because 46, I was in control from Day 1 up until Day 17. And what I realized is you cannot win the game in 17 days, but you can sure damn lose it.
This season, I want to elevate other folks' game. I want to be their support and be positive. Show them that they can count on me, and hopefully, they just forget this guy can cause a volcano erupt right here on this island, if he chooses. And if I can make it past the first eight or nine days without my name coming up at all, and I can continue that trend and make it to around Day 17, Day 18 to 26 is mine. They can forget about it. That's when I'm gonna come out of my shell and start making the moves that I need to make.
So I have to kind of prove myself to these players who've never played with me that, "Hey, the edit made me seem so chaotic. I'm actually a joy to be around." The moments that you saw, Hide and Seek and Applebee's and all that? That's me every day! I have to put that on display from Day 1, and it's already started, really. The way that I eat, the way that I approach — and I do this at home anyways. But I take my plate to the folks who bring it to me, and I say thank you. And I'm holding doors open, and I'm letting ladies eat first. And so I'm automatically now just trying to repair some of the "what ifs" about Q, and they just think of me as a good man.
So then, do you have a second version of some of those Q quirks? Are you gonna play Freeze Tag this time? Did you bring a whole Q wardrobe out here?
Let me just say this. I'm gonna still have fun, but the first couple of days, I have to dumb it down. Now I don't wake up and just say, "I want to do this today." It has to be a day where I'm bored and my mind is turning. So this season, we might not play hide and seek, because they're hip to it. We might play "Red Light, Green Light." We might play Freeze Tag. We might play something else. I just take our minds away from the game, but it's gameplay for me, and it's fun for me that everybody else can join in on.
And as far as more additions to the Q skirt, yeah, you never know. I gotta build me a Q Wagon first. I gotta build me a wagon of folks who will drag me along in this game. But what they don't know is they're building it with my tools. I own the wagon. So at any point in time, I could come in just take over the wagon and pull them along. That's what I want.
Considering how you went out of the game last time, are you taking a different approach to idols and advantages?
Mike, I didn't go out because I had an idol and I didn't play an idol. I simply went out because I had one day's rest. I had one day of guard letdown. I had one day of "Q, be as small as you can be, so you can just make it to five and play your idol and make it to four." And so I stopped playing for just a moment, just to be there, just to be settled. I should have caused so much ruckus with my idol, it's ridiculous. I should have walked around my neck, and I should have told them, "I'm playing it tonight. If you vote for me, good luck." Because that would have spooked the death out of Charlie and Kenzie and Liz, who were terrified of going home. I didn't care if I went home or not.
So I should have used it differently. I should have played with my idol. I wasn't going to play it regardless, but I should have played it up as if I was, or at least let them know that I had in this potential, and maybe I could have made it through the game. So I regret just being so relaxed that day.
Typically, what I'm doing is, if two people go off and walk and talk, I'm looking and I'm paying attention. That day, everybody went off and walked and talked. I'm sitting around kumbaya, not being Q, not paying attention, not listening. At Tribal Council. I'm just trying not to say the wrong thing, to bring the target back on me. I should have been "Crazy Q" that day. And I went home because it had nothing to do with the idol and me not playing. A lot of folks said, "Well, you should have played it." I wouldn't have played it regardless. But I would have played it differently with my approach to how I used it, looking back.
You wouldn't have played it, but you would have played with it.
Correct.
Related: Meet the Full Cast of Survivor 50
Well, let's talk about some possible members of the Q Wagon here. We're gonna play a game called "Friend or Foe." I'm going to give you a name of someone on the cast, and you have to tell me if they're someone you want to work with, or someone you see as an enemy or threat.
Before we play this game, should I tell you my strategy going into this game?
Please!
So my strategy is, if people have ever made it to the end, regardless if they've won or got second or third place, whatever. If you've pleaded your case to the jury, I don't want you at the end of the game. So I'm targeting all of those players, but I have to use some of those players.
There are more of them than there are folks who haven't sat at the end. So I have to use some of them in order to make some of the moves against the others. Until we can get the numbers to where it's more of us than them, and then hopefully I can convince the rest of the folks in the game to say, "You know what? It's actually smart, three new contestants who never had an opportunity to plead their case at the end. Wouldn't it be great?" So keep that in mind when we do "Friend or Foe," for some of these folks, I'm gonna say Friend to. But when I explain them, they're really going to be friendly foes.
Let's start with Jenna.
Jenna, Friend. Because I don't think Jenna has that many connections with this cast as some of the others in the old school. But Jenna just seems as if she's just so down to earth, cool, loyal. I saw what she did for Rob and [Amber], and they did her wrong. I won't take you out when it comes down to the end. So Jenna, for me, Friend.
Colby.
Foe. I don't think Colby would want to take me all the way to the end and actually play against me. So for that reason, Foe.
Stephenie.
Foe. She is someone who I think has connections. But I also think Stephenie is going to do her own dirty work for herself. And, she's going to rub people the wrong way. That's what she did the last time she's played. And that's kind of what I hear online people talking, so I don't want to align myself with somebody who's gonna put targets on their back.
Cirie.
Friend until…she's not a Foe. But I just can't take her.
She's one of those people who never made it to a Final Tribal Council!
Right. So she's gonna be a Friend, but I cannot sit next to her in the Final Three. I mean, just come on. It's certain people that, if they make it, it doesn't matter the game that I played or they played. It's almost like legendary status. For a legendary season, you're gonna vote for a legend like Cirie. So she's gonna be a Friend up until the moment where I just have to say, "Thank you so much for being such a great friend. But I gotta let you go."
How about Ozzy?
Friend. Because I honestly think that I can take Ozzy to the end and beat him, as long as he plays his typical game. He can win some challenges, but just be the other Ozzy, the one that don't have much of a social game, the one that's kind of standoffish. I can beat that person at the end.
Coach.
Foe, but he's gonna be presented as a Friend. I need Coach to make some moves. I need his influence. I need his loyalty that they say he has. But eventually, I'm gonna cut him off.
How about Aubry, considering everything that happened around you targeting Moriah for naming her as her favorite player?
I want to bring Aubry in as a Friend, because maybe folks would think we would have foolish energy. But she's gonna have to be a Foe, because I don't know if she's thinking the same thing. So mentally, for me, I would have to get rid of her.
Chrissy.
Foe. She's made it to the end; she's had a chance to win it. And I think she's one of those players who's somewhat in the middle when it comes to seasons played. So she might be somewhat in the middle when it comes to having preexisting relationships with folks, especially some of the ladies. So I don't see me and Chrissy working together at all. Foe.
Angelina.
Foe. She's just too fake to me. It's just some of the things [she does]. And Angelina eats a lot! I mean, she eats more than anybody, I think, on this cast right now. But I don't think I could trust Angelina. And she's also had her chance at the end!
Christian.
[Pause.] He's gonna be a Frenemy.
Ooh, new category!
I think I need Christian's brain. I think I need some of the connections that Christian might have. I don't think, given the type of game I know he would have to play to make it to the end, that I could beat him. So I'll have to get rid of him before then.
How about Mike?
Friend, but then a Foe. Because I know Mike White's gonna have a lot of influence against this cast. A lot of folks are auditioning for White Lotus, so they might try to allow this guy just because. I have to be willing to play with them, to a point where he's no longer able to be played with, and I gotta get rid of him. He can't go to the end.
Rick.
Rick Devens is dangerous. He's probably one of the most dangerous players on the beach. He's smart, he's strategic, he's good in challenges. He's just good at these little wackadoodle games — bringing back that word. So it's just one of those things. He scares me because he could go on a winning spree. He can also turn a crowd against you. I don't like it. Anybody who tells the weather for a living, they can speak. They speak well. I don't need that at the end.
Robert Voets/CBS
[Laughs.] Well, let's look at the forecast for your fellow new era players. Starting with Jonathan.
Friend. I think I can beat Jonathan at the end. I think he will be loyal. I think he's gonna play the same game he's always played. I think I can be the brains behind every operation that he has going on, and he can be the muscle. And in this game as of recent, the brains win, not the muscle. So I think I can beat him.
Dee.
Frenemy. Dee's one of those players where I have to keep her around long enough so there's somebody in the game that they want out probably more than me. But again, Dee, she had a chance. She can't sit at the end.
Emily.
Foe. I want nothing to do with Emily. She's dangerous. Emily eats pork, drinks Coke, and writes left-handed. That was a bad combination for me.
[Laughs.] Wait, we need to unpack this. She eats pork, drinks Coke, and writes left-handed. Those are your three strikes.
I mean, come on, eating pork and drinking Coke alone is like you don't care about nothing, you know what I mean? So I know you don't care about me in this game! And then you write left-handed. That's just triple whammy. But then she's just dangerous. You can't read that girl. She plays games for a living. She hasn't stopped playing a Game Boy since we've been here. Anybody who play games that much, you're not gonna play the game with me.
Alright, let's open up the Pandora's Box that is Survivor 46. Give me your thoughts on Charlie.
Foe. I mean, I just can't trust Charlie.
Are you looking to get some revenge?
It's not even about that. It's more so like, I know Charlie plays the middle, and he plays the middle well. But I know he's talking to multiple folks and going behind your back. So I just can't trust that. In a perfect world, Charlie is not on my tribe ever. Meaning he starts on a different tribe, and they vote him out before we ever come together. That's a perfect world. Will that happen? I don't know. And I guess we're going next with who? Tiff.
We gotta!
[Pause.] Friend. I hope! On my end, Friend. I will take her to the end this time. I will not turn on Tiff this time unless she turns on me first, and then I have to do her in. But I want to play with her. I want me and Tiff to show the world we can do something special. We can start off great. We can fight, then we can come back together, and there we go. That's the ending of our story, I think, is together. So Friend.

What about Genevieve?
Friend. Let me just tell you this, Genevieve will put poison in your coffee and ask you to drink it. I need that on my side. I don't need her bringing me any poison. I need her slitting throats with me, for me. And she's one of those people I'm gonna ride and die about if she says, "You know what, Q, I want to work with you." Because she's someone who I've seen to be loyal. She's not afraid to have the gun pointed at her. She's not gonna bat an eye. She's going to compete, she's going to show up. Those are the traits that you need. And I know this because we was in Milwaukee together. She don't speak well in front of a crowd. I need somebody like that at the end.
Joe.
Frenemy. I gotta befriend Joe. I have to have him trust me. Then I have to get rid of Joe. He's had his shot. I'm sorry, Joe, you're my guy. Fireman, put it out! But I gotta put your fire out, buddy.
Kamilla.
Kamilla's Friend. I want to work with her. Can you do for me what you did for Kyle, Kamilla? Can you take me all the way down to the end and advocate for me the way you did for him? I would love for you to do that. I'm asking for you do that. So I would consider Kamilla as a friend. Now she's gonna have to get rid of Kyle when I want to. If she don't, she's gonna turn to Foe real quick. I don't like that now. Get rid of Kyle. I'm your new Kyle!
Let's talk about Kyle, then. Does that make him Foe?
He's a Frenemy! So I have to, again, just like Dee, present to him, "I'm no threat to you. I'm not scared to go against winners at the end." And have him do some of my dirty work with some of the votes that I need to have happen. And so I get the numbers to be and then send them home.
Any thoughts on the 49 players?
Foe, foe, foe. Let me just tell you this. This is my theory: One of them won. There's three winners on this cast. Let me just say why. If it's three tribes, they're not gonna just put two winners. It sucks. They're gonna have a winner on every single tribe. Which of them won? I don't know yet. But when the tribes are broken up, I'll find out a lot of information. Let's just say neither one of them won. In my mind, one of them won. So one of them, and both of them, have to go. Foe.
Which previous player do you wish were out here on the island with you right now?
Tyson and [Tony]. I would want Tyson. It would be so funny with him and me on the island with his jokes and his sense of humor. But then Tony with his craziness and my craziness, dude, we would light this place on fire.
They say sometimes when a player returns, they take from the game of the person who won their original season. Obviously, you had a complicated relationship with Kenzie, to say the least. But is there anything you're taking from her 46 game into 50?
There's nothing about Kenzie's game that would ever, ever relate to me. I mean, let's just be honest. If I could watch Season 46 and then go back and vote, I would have voted Charlie. Just watching the season, I'm out of the game now, at this point, who's left, I would have voted Charlie. But not to take it away from Kenzie. She played the game, and at the end, she was the best candidate in my eyes in that moment. But there's nothing about her game. I mean, I'm not capable of having someone tell me what to do. I'm not capable of sitting back and being the nice, charmer, pretty girl that she is. I'm not capable of doing that. So I don't think part of her game.
But there are some winners, like Tony, for instance, his win on 40, kind of sitting on his hands a bit, waiting for his moment. I gotta take bits and pieces of his game from 40 and implement it. Because coming into this, folks, they're looking at me as the chaotic one, the crazy one, the one that's unpredictable, the one that's gonna cause us the most problems. I cannot give them the satisfaction of thinking that. So I have to be calm and easy. That's what I'm taking. Everything else, I just have to be Q. I have to learn from Q's mistakes, and I have to kind of move forward from them.
Finally, what celebrity or fictional character would you bring out for a Loved Ones visit? Last time, you said Black Panther, specifically because, "I want to drink that juice." Are you picking someone else this time?
I think I want to change my answer. The person I would want to bring out here for my Loved Ones visit would probably have to be Michael Jordan. Drip some of that sauce on me. I got your J's on my feet right now. Come out here, show me how you went to six finals and did not lose Because I'm 0 for 1 right now. I want to be 1 for 2 once I leave this place. So put me on the right track, give me that motivation talk. Tell me what I need to do.
