Travis Kelce Jokingly Blames Taylor Swift for Weight Gain, Viral Chair Accident

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 6:30am

Travis Kelce perfectly turns a hilarious incident into a light and self-deprecating punchline, which clearly shows he’s not afraid to laugh at himself.

While NFL fans are locked in and eagerly awaiting a spectacular clash between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks in the upcoming Super Bowl LX, the Kelce brothers are keeping the laughs rolling on their podcast, New Heights.

A recent episode quickly went viral after the younger Kelce accidentally broke Taylor Swift’s chair.

At the time, the 36-year-old football star was laughing his heart out when he suddenly lost his balance and toppled out of his seat.

“Are you alright, Trav?” Jason Kelce asked, to which the Chiefs player answered, “We’re good. Taylor is gonna kill me.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are seen on December 28, 2024 in New York City.

However, during his appearance on his sister-in-law’s podcast Not Gonna Lie, he told Kylie Kelce the possible reason behind the viral moment.

For the three-time Super Bowl champion, it was because of none other than his girlfriend.

"Hi, I'm Travis Kelce — Kylie Kelce's brother-in-law — and I'm not gonna lie: I broke Taylor's chair with the weight I gained from her sourdough," he said. "Good gut health, though."

View this post on Instagram

Travis Kelce was referring to Swift’s current hobby, baking and making her own sourdough.

On the other hand, the mother-of-four joked, "That's true love," prompting him to respond with an affectionate "love you" to his fiancée.

Kylie Kelce chimed in and expressed the same feelings, noting "I love you, too" to the pop icon.

The football star’s revelation sparked interesting comments from fans.

“Don’t you dare blame Doughphelia Travvy,” one wrote.

While he blamed his weight gain on the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker, a commenter pointed the finger at sourdough, quipping, “It's definitely the bread's fault.”

On the other hand, some were more curious about the mysterious chair, speculating whether it was an old antique or just a random piece of furniture.

“I really wanna know the specifics of this chair. Antique? Random? A precious cat stool? What are we talking about?” a follower said.

The same goes for another fan who not only got curious about the worth of the chair but also lauded his love for his fiancée, noting, “The way the chair probably costs more than all our houses, but also the way that Taylor is so thrilled to have such a big hunky man that adores her- break one of her chairs. Best couple.”

Full details regarding the Travis Kelce chair incident will be revealed in Not Gonna Lie’s Friday episode.

February 17, 2026: New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius (28°56’ Aquarius)

Eclipse season will start on February 17, 2026, with the new moon annular solar eclipse in Aquarius, which will occur at 28 degrees. This eclipse is extra special because it marks the beginning of a new eclipse cycle starring the Aquarius-Leo axis that we haven’t experienced since 2018. Think back to mid-winter and mid-summer 2018 to get an idea of what may come back around during this year’s eclipse seasons.

A new six-month cycle and eclipse story will begin, as the new moon annular solar eclipse marks fateful yet unforeseen beginnings aligned with Aquarius’ energy. On a collective level, Aquarius may be the call to focus on humanitarian efforts, building community, and finding genuine friendships. On a personal level, Aquarius may infer becoming comfortable with being unique, striving for authenticity, and leaning into your inner rebel. Regardless of what happens, the Aquarius eclipse will elicit a deep desire for innovation and originality that will become significant throughout this year and 2027.

March 3, 2025: Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo (12°51’)

Our first eclipse season will end with the full moon total lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 3, 2025, which will occur at 12 degrees. You may want to think back to what was happening around the end of September 2025, since a six-month cycle will reach a destined ending during this Virgo eclipse.

As fateful culminations materialize, you may see significant differences in your health, habits, and routine. It’s possible this six-month cycle pushed you to be more cognizant of your wellness. You could have taken up new hobbies, activities, and habits to live a healthier, happier lifestyle. There might also be an overall difference in a perfectionistic attitude, criticalness, and anxiety. Everyone might be more accepting of faults, so there may be more leniency and compassion at the end of this eclipse cycle. However, this doesn’t mean a lack of boundaries. For so many, this Virgo eclipse marks the end of servitude, stress-driven attitudes, and poor work-life balance.

Your Eclipse Season Horoscope, Based on Your Zodiac Sign

Keep reading, and look for your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs.

Aries

Eclipse season will ask you what you can handle at this time, Aries. The Aquarius eclipse will encourage you to look forward to new friendships and networking opportunities over the next six months. You may even have a chance to build a community around your aspirations, dreams, or hopes. However, the Virgo eclipse will ask you if you can make time for these desires. As you reflect on the last six months, you may realize that it’s time to make a serious lifestyle change by the Virgo eclipse. Adjust your schedule to make time for new priorities on top of your established responsibilities.

Taurus

You’re destined for immense success, Taurus. Fateful changes will hit your career path during the Aquarius eclipse. The new, six-month eclipse cycle will push you to work harder than ever before. You may feel driven by a new goal or milestone you desperately want to accomplish, since it will set you apart from other professionals. Although this is exciting, the Virgo eclipse may mark the end of a fun or romantic period. You may not have as much time for dating, hobbies, and other enjoyable outlets post-Virgo eclipse if you’re more concerned with what you can achieve in your career path.

Gemini

A new door will open, Gemini. The Aquarius eclipse marks the beginning of a new journey, likely pulling you to unique experiences, unlikely teachers, and unforeseen destinations. Expect to take the road less traveled over the next six months, so go into this eclipse cycle with an open mind. It might feel initially hectic, but the Virgo eclipse will affirm that you’re more than ready for this next chapter. You’ve worked on your mental health behind closed doors for months now, which will be apparent by the Virgo eclipse. Let this Virgo eclipse wash away your worries, as you head into a destined spiritual journey.

Cancer

What will you give to get, Cancer? Asking for something will come at a cost during the Aquarius eclipse. You already know what you want to invest in, but you cannot do it alone. A business partner, lover, or close companion has resources you need; however, asking for help or guidance doesn’t come easily. Thankfully, you may know exactly what to say and how to present this precious inquiry by the Virgo eclipse. Spirit may send you signs, downloads, or confirmations that now is the time to speak up. Don’t second guess your intuition if you feel strongly about your pitch.

Leo

An unexpected commitment may come your way, Leo. Be open to partnering with someone new, as the Aquarius eclipse evokes unforeseen changes in your relationships and arrangements. Fateful yet unprecedented partners, contracts, and offers will arise over the next six months. You may feel unsure of what to choose or who to join forces with, but the Virgo eclipse will help you find your footing. The Virgo eclipse can help you feel confident and secure in your value system after months of figuring out what you desire. You should feel relatively self-assured with what you need to feel comfortable and stable moving forward.

Virgo

Being a busy bee is who you are, Virgo. Your work life is destined to change for the better thanks to the Aquarius eclipse. There might be an unforeseen chance to enter a unique job market, position, or workplace over the next six months. Although this is exciting, you may wonder if this professional opportunity represents who you truly are. The Virgo eclipse will encourage you to let go of your inner perfectionist and critic. Stop worrying about what others may think or say. You owe it to yourself to pursue a more authentic pathway aligned with your genuine interests and goals.

Libra

Cut loose, Libra. You’re asked to be more carefree, since the Aquarius eclipse will evoke new beginnings around your self-expression, romantic desires, and hobbies. This new six-month eclipse cycle will encourage you to have more fun, even if your idea of joy and passion is different from what others desire. Accepting what you desire or want to partake in can be challenging if you feel like a weirdo. Luckily, the Virgo eclipse will help you shut down your inner critic, as well as any outside projections. Use the Virgo eclipse to radically change your inner monologue and outlook, so that you can confidently enjoy the new Aquarius eclipse cycle.

Scorpio

Keep it to yourself, Scorpio. There might be a strong urge to go dark during the Aquarius eclipse. Don’t second-guess this feeling to be private. The Aquarius eclipse cycle will show you why it’s important to be discreet over the next six months. You may get an idea as to why this is necessary by the Virgo eclipse. A friend’s or colleague’s true colors will be revealed during the Virgo eclipse, which may confirm your suspicions. Nothing nefarious may happen, but their actions and energy could still be off-putting. Don’t hesitate to step back to focus on yourself if you feel called to do so.

Sagittarius

There’s always something else to look forward to, Sagittarius. New ideas will spring forward around the Aquarius eclipse. You may feel called to return to writing or inspired to learn something new. These curiosities might be unlike anything you’ve perused before, but this isn’t a bad thing. It might spark a new direction over the next six months. But for now, the Virgo eclipse says let go of this idea of being picture perfect in your career path and in the public eye. Shift gears to focus on what inspires you, since you have an opportunity to start something new.

Capricorn

Stability may come in an unexpected package, Capricorn. Something unusual yet fateful will bring unexpected steadiness into your life following the Aquarius eclipse. The next six months will bring significant changes to your value systems and financial opportunities. Don’t panic. This could lead to something wonderful, such as profiting from an independent venture or feeling valued for your innovation. Since there’s no telling where this may go, you’re better off letting go of control and worrying about what the future may bring during the Virgo eclipse. Trust that you will be taken care of throughout the six-month Aquarius eclipse cycle.

Aquarius

Who cares about winning a popularity contest, Aquarius? The first eclipse of the year arrives during your season and will take place in your sign to reinforce your individuality. You’ve never been concerned with being liked and accepted before, so don’t start now. The Aquarius eclipse will encourage you to be original even if that means being eccentric, odd, and rebellious. Embrace being authentic and imperfect around the Virgo eclipse. Fears regarding rejection and judgment will come full circle during the Virgo eclipse to help you feel more empowered than ever before. Never doubt who you are as you step into your most authentic self.

Pisces

Healing isn’t linear, Pisces. Take note of where your mind goes and what unconscious narrative directs your outlook during the Aquarius eclipse. You may realize there are unacknowledged issues that need to be addressed, such as fear of judgment or rejection. Owning what you need to work on won’t be easy, so you should consider letting someone you trust in. The Virgo eclipse will show you who to let in. It might be a close friend, lover, or colleague. Regardless of who this person is, they may have insight regarding your actions and outlook that can help shape your healing journey throughout the next six months.

Disney Is Quietly Building a Major New Resort at Walt Disney World

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 6:10am

If you’ve walked or boated around Bay Lake recently, you may have noticed something big rising near Fort Wilderness—and no, it’s not a new attraction. Disney Lakeshore Lodge, a long-awaited Disney resort project, is officially under construction and moving quickly, with an opening currently expected in 2027.

The new resort is being built on the former site of River Country, Disney’s first water park, which closed years ago but has remained largely untouched—until now. Positioned between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge, Disney Lakeshore Lodge will be a large, mixed-use property with both traditional hotel rooms and Disney Vacation Club villas, making it one of the biggest new resort additions at Walt Disney World in quite some time.

According to Disney Tourist Blog, the project was first announced in October 2018 and was described at the time as a Lakeside/Lakeshore Lodge that would “be a celebration of Walt Disney’s lifelong love and respect for nature” and one of the “most unique resorts ever built” at Walt Disney World. Early concept art released for the resort pointed to a mix of unconventional accommodations, including treehouse-style suites and waterfront A-frame cabins, along with plans for a restaurant set “along the bayou of Bay Lake.”

The blog further reports that while Disney has kept official details fairly quiet, aerial photos show that the main structure seems to have reached its full height—roughly 10 stories—and work has shifted toward enclosing rooms, adding balconies and building out outdoor spaces. Once complete, the resort is expected to include more than 900 rooms, putting it in the same league as some of Disney’s largest on-property hotels.

Public permits and site plans indicate that guests can expect a substantial pool complex, including a feature pool, a quieter leisure pool and a lazy river—still a rarity among Disney resorts. There will also be waterfront dining and boat access, connecting Lakeshore Lodge to the rest of the Magic Kingdom resort area by water.

Guests staying at Lakeshore Lodge should have easy access to Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge, along with scenic paths and boat transportation across Bay Lake. That proximity could make the resort especially appealing for families who want the feel of Disney’s more rustic resorts with the convenience of newer amenities.

For now, Disney hasn’t released updated concept art or many design details, and it’s unclear how closely the finished resort will resemble early plans first announced years ago. What is clear is that construction is well underway—and if progress continues at its current pace, Disney Lakeshore Lodge may become one of the most talked-about on-property stays as 2027 approaches.

Scott Hamilton Says He’s Turned Down 'Dancing With the Stars' 9 Times—and Names His Dream Biopic Star (Exclusive)

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 6:00am

Scott Hamilton can move on ice, but on the ballroom floor? Well, that's a different kind of footwork. The former figure skater, 67, has passed on competing on Dancing with the Stars more than once.

"I've turned it down nine times," the two-time Olympian exclusively told Parade, revealing that Deena Katz, a "talent coordinator and one of the main producers there, whom he's done multiple Disney specials with, is "always so kind [and has] reached out and asked me to do it." However, "the biggest problem is I can't dance," he said.

When reminded that most contestants learn to dance on the ABC competition show, Hamilton replied, "I know, but I also like to win."

The legendary figure skater has turned down 'Dancing with the Stars' nine times

In addition to DWTS, the Olympian has declined offers to have his life made into a biopic. "I said no three times," Hamilton revealed.

But, there is one offer "still on the table."

"I'm hesitant because it's like, I don't want to be that honest," the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation founder laughed. "Just going to keep all that stuff, you know, to myself. But anyway, we're all knuckleheads. We just gotta figure it out."

If he were to do, it would be with the current, particular group. "But... what's the ending? What's the payoff?" he remarked, acknowledging, "It's still being written. So, we'll see."

As for who he'd like to see play him in a biopic? "Brad Pitt, more than likely. But he's kind of getting older now, so I have to rethink that," he joked. "I don't know. How's this, it would be only fitting if it were somebody truly unknown. That's the only way to do it because there's no way in the world that I ever should be in a position where somebody is doing a biopic about me."

Scott Hamilton is an Olympic gold medalist

Although Hamilton was once unknown to the world, he has cemented himself as an ice skating legend. The figure skater won four consecutive US titles, four consecutive World Championships and took home the gold medal at the 1984 Winter Olympics. This month he'll be in Italy for the XXV Winter Olympic Games, which mark his 10th Olympics as a broadcaster.

While, in the past, he had his eyes on the gold as a competitor, these days, Hamilton's sights are set on his family. He and his wife, Tracie Hamilton, have four children: Maxx, Aidan, Jean Paul and Evelyne.

"I just want my kids to be healthy, happy and productive. It's not about me anymore, it's about them. Every day I learn how I could be a better parent, a better husband. I always love to count my wins, and I do, but each day it's like, 'Okay, game on. I gotta handle that better, this better, that better,'" Hamilton shared. "I love my family. And I'll do anything for them. Anything for them."

Keeping up with his wife and kids is his "main focus" right now. "So, as far as all the professional things and everything else, it's like, yeah, those are important," Hamilton said. "And I gotta be obedient to them. And I've got to be grateful enough to stay with it and not just squander it, but at the same time, the only legacy I have, exists in my children. So, I want to get that right."

John Denver's Beloved 'Feeling Blue' Ballad Was Inspired by a Deeply Emotional Moment

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:56am

John Denver drew from a deeply personal moment when writing what would become one of the most emotional and beloved songs of his career.

Denver was living in Minnesota with his wife, Annie, when he wrote “Sunshine on My Shoulders.” The state's long, snowy winters inspired the warm, heartfelt song.

According to Minnesota Monthly, Denver shared with journalist Jon Bream the story behind the song. "It was one of those late-winter, early-spring days,” Denver said.

“One of those cold, dreary days where everything is gray, yet spring is in fact happening. That’s why the song is slow and melancholy.”

To Seventeen Magazine, per History, Denver added, "I was so down I wanted to write a feeling-blue song. “[But] this is what came out.”

"Sunshine" was written by Denver and two members of his backing band, Dick Kniss and Mike Taylor. It was included on the 1971 LP Poems, Prayers, and Promises.

According to American Songwriter, the original version of "Sunshine on My Shoulders" is over five minutes long. When the song was released as a single in 1974, the song was shortened to three minutes, the second verse was removed, and strings were added.

The hit song was not directly about the Vietnam War, but it became a popular anthem during that tumultuous era. The song grew in popularity as the conflict came to an end, hitting No. 1 on the Billboard charts in March 1974.

"Sunshine On My Shoulders" further grew in popularity after it was featured in a 1973 made-for-TV movie about a woman dying of cancer. The drama, called Sunshine, was based on the real-life story of Jacquelyn M. Helton, a fan of the singer's, according to Cinema Retro.

The CBSFriday Night television movie starred Cristina Rains and Cliff DeYoung. The song tells the story of Helton, a young woman dying of cancer who leaves behind tape-recorded diaries for her young daughter. Sunshine was a huge hit, it inspired an NBC series in 1975 and a follow-up Christmas movie in 1977.

Decades later, "Sunshine on My Shoulders" remains a quiet reminder of Denver’s gift for turning fleeting emotions into a defining music moment. On October 12, 1997, John Denver died at the age of 53.

Who Is Alexander Skarsgård's Girlfriend Tuva Novotny?

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:55am

From his steamy, nudity-filled screen performances (True Blood, Big Little Lies) to his saucy red-carpet appearances (we're still thinking about that viral halter top look), Swedish hunk Alexander Skarsgård is pretty used to titillating audiences. And he'll certainly do more of that with his latest project: Pillion, a darkly funny queer romance in which the 49-year-old Vällingby native plays an enigmatic, sexually dominant biker who begins a BDSM relationship with a timid gay man (Harry Potter actor Harry Melling) in Britain.

Written and directed by Harry Lighton, the provocative flick has been a hit with critics — as of press time, it has a perfect 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes — thanks to its confident mix of humor, heart and, yes, horniness between Melling and Skarsgård's characters. But the romantic flick also had us wondering about Skarsgård's relationship status offscreen — who is the sex symbol dating these days?

With Pillion being released stateside by A24 on Friday, February 6 — and its star making his Saturday Night Live hosting debut as part of the film's promo tour on Saturday, January 31 —here's everything we know about Alexander Skarsgård's romantic life and his dating history.

Who is Alexander Skarsgård's partner?

Alexander Skarsgård is reportedly in a relationship with Swedish actress-director Tuva Novotny; the couple has been romantically linked since early 2022. A native of Stockholm, the 46-year-old Novotny is the daughter of actress and sculptor Barbro Hedström, and Czech film director and academic David Novotny.

Like her famous beau, Tuva is also a screen performer, known for roles in Eat Pray Love (2010), A War (2015), Borg vs. McEnroe (2017) and Annihilation (2018). Behind the camera, she directed titles such as Blind Spot (2018), Britt-Marie Was Here (2019) and Diorama (2022). Novotny had built up directing experience before doing the project, working in TV: “I always knew I wanted to direct, but I wanted to make sure that I was [ready] for it,” she explained.

“Ten years ago, some friends of mine asked if I could direct a few episodes of a Norwegian TV series, and they brought me onto their next project. This was very good as a self-esteem enhancer," Novotny said in a Golden Globes interview about making the move to directing. "And after those TV series, I decided that either I do TV for the rest of my life or it is now that I decide to do my own things. I took a year off and started writing a couple of scripts. [I] wrote a series for a Norwegian channel so it kind of happened organically but also at a point where I felt it was the right moment.”

Does Alexander Skarsgård have children?

Skarsgård and Novotny welcomed their first child together, a son, in late 2022 or early 2023; the actor publicly confirmed the happy news to Entertainment Tonight while attending the Succession season 4 premiere in March 2023.

Though the couple is notoriously private, The Northman star did give some insight into how parenthood changed his lifestyle, telling The Sunday Times in May 2025: “It’s been an adjustment for someone who’s a selfish asshole like myself,” he said. “‘I’m so used to being able to go somewhere on a whim, take a job, like, ‘Oh, seven months in the Kalahari Desert? No problem.’ Now your priorities obviously change, and you have to take other people’s needs into consideration. It takes a lot more planning to make it work because I still love to work, but it’s about finding that balance.’”

Novotny also has two teenage daughters with her former partner of over 10 years, Norwegian adventurer Nicolai Bjerrum Lersbryggen; Skarsgård has publicly referred to the girls as his "stepdaughters."

Is Alexander Skarsgård bisexual?

Skarsgård made headlines recently for seemingly retracting previous comments he made about his personal sexuality during the 2025 Zurich Film Festival. While promoting the film Pillion at the fall 2025 fest, Alexander said, per Variety: "I found that in this case, it's not really relevant what my background is. I mean, I do have a kid, but what I've done in the past, who I've been with, men, women…To me, what was important was that this felt like an opportunity to tell a story about a subculture I hadn't seen portrayed this way – with so much authenticity."

However, the actor clarified those comments in January 2026, in his Variety cover story. “It was definitely not an intended statement," Skarsgård said about seemingly coming out as bisexual. "I don’t know what I was talking about. Maybe it has to do with — there’s a lot of focus sometimes on me as an actor. Maybe it was trying to shift the focus more to the story and these characters. And the importance of telling the story like this.”

Did Alexander Skarsgård date Kate Bosworth?

Yes, Skarsgård was in a relationship with blonde beauty Kate Bosworth for two years, meeting on the set of their movie Straw Dogs in 2009 and remaining together until 2011, upon which they mutually split.

Did Alexander Skarsgård date Amanda Seyfried?

The Swede reportedly had a brief fling with The Housemaid star Amanda Seyfriedin the late 2000s, reportedly during one of the actress's splits from her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Mamma Mia costar Dominic Cooper. Seyfried later confirmed her dalliance with Skarsgård to Elle in 2011: "He's super funny, but I was too involved with Dom."

Did Alexander Skarsgård date Taylor Swift?

Dating rumors have swirled between Alexander Skarsgård and pop superstar Taylor Swiftever since they worked together on the 2014 dystopian drama The Giver. Swifties theorized that the singer's hit song "Wildest Dreams" (about a man who's "tall and handsome as hell") could have potentially been inspired by Skarsgård, a rumor that the actor himself cheekily talked about during a recent podcast appearance.

During a July 2025 episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert, Skarsgård poked fun at the song theories, joking: "It’s about Brad Pitt, guys, let’s be honest...I wrote the lyrics to that song myself and sent it to Taylor. ‘Taylor, here’s what you should say.' A lot of people can be bad but can’t do it well.”

Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift is a brand-new high-speed outdoor roller coaster coming to Universal Studios Hollywood in Summer 2026. This marks a huge milestone for the park, as it’s their first coaster of this type ever, themed to one of Universal’s biggest blockbuster franchises.

In the pulse-pounding 30-second television spot narrated by Vin Diesel, longtime Fast and Furious star, producer, and Universal Parks collaborator, thrill seekers get a sneak peak at the Launch moments and big curves this incredibly advanced coaster will bring to the park. Designed to immerse guests directly into the Fast and Furious cinematic universe, Hollywood Drift promises to deliver the sensation of street racing—no driver’s license required.

Located on the Upper Lot, the attraction will be housed inside a striking red brick, garage-inspired structure. The innovative coaster will feature groundbreaking 360-degree rotation technology, allowing ride vehicles to spin as they move and creating the feeling of drifting cars tearing through sharp turns at incredible speeds. Guests will race along 4,100 feet of aerial track (the equivalent of nearly 12 football fields) at speeds of up to 72 miles per hour.

Adding to the spectacle, the track will wind its way above parts of the park itself, including a dramatic pass over the multi-level Starway escalator that connects Universal’s Upper and Lower Lots, making it just as thrilling to watch as it is to ride.

Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift launches as Universal Pictures celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Fast and Furious franchise, which began in 2001 and evolved into one of the most successful action series of all time. The coaster’s debut also helps kick off the countdown to the franchise’s final theatrical chapter, Fast Forever, slated for release on March 17, 2028.

‘80s Rocker Says Band Should ‘Finish Out Their Final Years’ With Original Frontman Amid Singer Search

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:45am

Skid Row has launched a search for a new lead singer, but fans—and a fellow rock frontman—think the perfect candidate is right under their nose.

In a Feb. 5 post shared to Facebook, Stryper singer Michael Sweet expressed hope that Skid Row would reunite with former frontman Sebastian Bach in lieu of undergoing an extensive search for a new singer.

“Would be great to see this band finish out their final years with the original singer. Sebastian Bach,” Sweet, 62, captioned a photo of Skid Row’s classic lineup. “You do what you have to do and no one knows the reasons why but I can say this -  I recently hung out with Sebastian and bowled with him out in LA. He was an absolute gentleman. Engaging and respectful. We even went to the Rainbow Bar and Grill and hung out there as well after we bowled.”

“We all know that Sebastian is the voice of Skid Row. He’s a powerful personality and a one-of-a-kind singer,” Sweet added. “It would be great to see them iron out their differences and give the fans what they want. I would certainly be there cheering them on.”

Sweet added that no matter what happens, he wishes the band “much success and happiness.” “They are a great band and respect them dearly,” he wrote.

A new chapter

Sweet’s post came just after Skid Row announced they had partnered with online music retailer Sweetwater to launch a worldwide search for a new vocalist under the teaser "Skid Row: The Next Chapter."

Skid Row was formed in 1986 by guitarist Dave Sabo and bassist Rachel Bolan. Guitarist Scotti Hill and drummer Rob Affuso were added to the lineup, while Bach was recruited to replace short-lived singer Matt Fallon the following year. Bach was the voice behind the band’s classic lineup and all of their biggest hits, including “18 and Life,” “I Remember You,” and “Youth Gone Wild.”

Bach, 57, was fired from Skid Row in 1996. In the years since, the band has been fronted by Johnny Solinger,Tony Harnell, ZP Theart, and Erik Gronwall. Halestorm leader Lzzy Hale sang with the band for shows in 2024, per Ultimate Classic Rock.

Bach has long expressed an interest in reuniting with Skid Row. In an interview with The Metal Voice in January, he said, "What is our problem? Like, what the heck’s wrong with us? Like, it’s just silly.”

“I mean, but I’m not waiting around either at the same time. I got my own band, I got my own albums, and I play tons of shows,” the singer added. “I’m extremely busy.”

RELATED:  ‘80s Glam Rocker Was Told He’d Never Sing Again

Never happening

Over the years, the Skid Row bandmates have been adamant that a reunion with Bach will never take place.

“It’s not gonna happen,” Sabo told the Hook Rocks podcast in an interview in October 2024. “I’m thankful that people have such an interest in wanting to see that happen, but I also have to reiterate that this is about being happy in the situation that you’re in. … There’s three of us — myself, Scotti [Hill], and Rachel — who’ve had conversations about this, and we’ve all been on the same page that we don’t wanna go down that road again. We just — we don’t.”

Fans think Bach is the only singer for Skid Row

Amid the Skid Row singer search, many fans agree with Sweet that Bach is the man for the job.

“We the Fans Deserve the Best Version of Skid Row. That includes Sebastian Bach.  I’m certain there’s a Middle Ground when it comes to their Differences. Make it happen, fellows,” one fan wrote on Facebook.

“If Van Halen could put up with Dave for two tours post-ugly breakup, Skid Row could put up with Baz. Man up, Rachel and Snake,” another agreed.

In a Reddit thread, a fan wrote of the singer search, “Actually know a guy who would be perfect, and he happens to have been asking about it for a while too.”

“This whole thing is just depressing to me,” another wrote. “I watched them flounder without Bas. I hated it…I get that they don’t get along with Bas. But was it really all him? And, if he’s willing to come back hat-in-hand, can you really not let bygones be bygones?” another asked.

“This is embarrassing. Reunite with Bach. Have management handle communication with him. Just see him at rehearsals and gigs and make some money,” another Skid Row fan suggested.

The Only Time the Entire 'Brady Bunch' Reunited After the Series

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:44am

Forty years ago today—Friday, February 6, 1981—the entire cast of The Brady Bunch quietly came together for one last full-family reunion. It was a moment that would prove to be both an ending and a beginning for television’s most famous blended clan.

That reunion arrived in the form of The Brady Girls Get Married, a made-for-TV project that aired over three Friday nights in 1981. While it’s often remembered as a curiosity in the sprawling Brady canon, the special holds a unique distinction: it remains the only time all nine original cast members appeared together in a single project after the original series ended in 1974.

RELATED: ‘Brady Bunch’ Fans Are Crying Inside the Home Now Seeking Landmark Status

The project was conceived as a two-hour NBC television movie centered on the double wedding of eldest daughters Marcia (Maureen McCormick) and Jan (Eve Plumb). But as the Associated Press reported at the time, the network’s plans shifted repeatedly and dramatically. NBC executive Fred Silverman ultimately decided not to air the film as a single movie at all, instead dividing it into weekly half-hour installments. What began as a standalone event suddenly became a three-week television experiment—and, by the fourth week, a backdoor pilot.

That pilot became The Brady Brides, a short-lived spin-off focused on the newly married couples played by McCormick, Plumb, Jerry Houser and Ron Kuhlman. Ann B. Davis returned as housekeeper Alice, while Florence Henderson appeared prominently during the wedding episodes before transitioning to occasional guest appearances.

RELATED: ‘Brady Bunch’ Kids Reveal ‘Insidiously Difficult’ Truth Behind That Classic Opening

Behind the scenes, however, the reunion was far less celebratory than it appeared onscreen. In his memoir "Growing Up Brady,"Barry Williams recalled that many of the former child actors initially resisted returning to Bradyland at all. By the early 1980s, the wholesome image that once made the show a hit had become a professional burden.

“All of us kids had spent years trying to move forward in our careers and live down the whole ‘Brady Bunch’ stigma,” Williams wrote, describing a moment when being a Brady was “no longer considered cool — it had now become downright embarrassing.”

Still, financial realities and studio pressure won out. “When Paramount chose to get ‘persuasive’ ($$$), every one of us caved and re-enlisted,” Williams admitted. The result was a reunion that, in hindsight, stands as a closing chapter for the original cast.

RELATED: Inside ‘Brady Bunch’ Star Robert Reed’s Private Pain & Famous On-Set Battles

Williams noted that several other Brady revivals were incomplete: Plumb skipped The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, Susan Olsen missed A Very Brady Christmas, and McCormick would later exit The Bradys. The Brady Girls Get Married marked the only time all nine returned together—including Robert Reed, who reportedly insisted during contract negotiations that “nobody is going to give my Brady girls away but me.”

The special aired over three consecutive Friday nights, performed strongly in early ratings, and quickly evolved into a weekly series. But The Brady Brides would last just 13 episodes before cancellation, another brief rise and fall in the Brady family saga.

Four decades later, The Brady Girls Get Married stands as the final moment of unity for one of television’s most enduring casts.

What to Do in Milan During the Winter Olympics, According to the Host of PBS’ Dream of Italy

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:37am

For many Olympic travelers, Milan will be home base—and PBS Dream of Italy hostKathy McCabe believes that’s exactly how the city should be experienced.

“Milan is Italy’s capital of fashion, design and business, but it also offers a delightful array of neighborhoods and culinary traditions,” she says. “Beyond the runways and showrooms, Milan is defined by aperitivo and cafe culture and a strong sense of everyday Italian city life that rewards travelers who linger.”

Rather than treating the city as a place to sleep between events, she encourages visitors to slow down and take part in the daily rituals. “This is a city where daily habits matter just as much as landmarks,” McCabe says.

McCabe will be staying at Casa Brivio, located in Porta Venezia, a neighborhood she consistently recommends for Olympic visitors. “It feels more like a refined Milanese apartment house than a traditional hotel,” she says. “Porta Venezia is ideal because it is well connected by metro, close to cafés, wine bars and shopping, and less hectic than the historic center.”

She also highlights NEMI Hotel Milan, one of the city’s newest design-driven openings. Set in a quiet residential area, the hotel offers “larger-than-average rooms” along with “strong soundproofing,” which McCabe notes can be especially valuable during a busy travel period like the Olympics. She also points to its restaurant, Forte, which “highlights fresh seafood,” and notes that the hotel is offering a special Olympic “Stay in the Game” package.

For travelers looking for a more traditional luxury experience, McCabe points to The Carlton Milan, which has just opened and marks the arrival of Rocco Forte Hotels in the city. Located in a grand historic building near the fashion district, the hotel brings “classic Italian elegance and contemporary comfort,” along with a full-service spa and refined dining. Travelers attending the Opening Ceremony at San Siro may also want to consider Milan Suite Hotel, which offers “large, modern rooms,” some with garden patios and convenient access to the stadium.

“Milan was recently named the #2 food city in the world according to Taste Atlas,” McCabe says—but she is quick to clarify one important point. “It’s important to note that Milan is not a pasta city. It is the home of risotto.” The surrounding Po Valley produces much of Italy’s rice, which is why risotto alla Milanese has become the city’s defining dish. “Risotto alla Milanese is the city’s defining dish,” she says. “Made with saffron, it is traditionally served with ossobuco and best enjoyed slowly in a classic trattoria setting.”

For a nostalgic take, McCabe recommends Risoelatte. “The 1950s-style restaurant feels like dining in a retro Milanese home,” she says, noting that its risotto alla Milanese is a standout. For a more contemporary interpretation, she points to Ratanà, set in a former railway warehouse in the Isola Porta Nuova area, which serves one of the city’s most celebrated versions of the dish.

Aperitivo, Cafés, and Everyday Milan Milan, Italy - Circa April 2018: Campari bar (aka Camparino) in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Aperitivo is essential to understanding the city. “This is a city where daily habits matter just as much as landmarks,” McCabe says, emphasizing that Campari-based drinks are deeply rooted in Milanese culture. “The Negroni Sbagliato was invented here,” she says, pointing visitors toward Bar Basso, a longtime local favorite.

For a more polished setting, she recommends Camparino in Galleria, located inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. As Campari’s historic bar, it pairs carefully crafted cocktails with elegant interiors and feels like a quintessential Milan moment. For coffee and pastries, Pasticceria Cova, founded in 1817, offers a glimpse of the city’s old-guard café culture. McCabe recommends ordering an espresso and a traditional pastry to experience Milan at its most refined. For something more modern, Pavé is a favorite for breakfast or a mid-morning break. It’s known for beautifully made pastries and a relaxed, neighborhood feel. “This is the kind of place where you linger rather than rush,” she says.

She also recommends Bar Luce, located inside Fondazione Prada. Designed by Wes Anderson, the café is a destination in itself, and the contemporary art museum is “well worth a visit.”

Shopping and Neighborhoods That Feel Like Milan Milan, Lombardy, Italy - 04 29 2024: The boat tour on the Navigli of Milan, ancient canals used in the past to transport goods, are very popular among tourists visiting the city.

When travelers ask where to experience Milan’s shopping scene, McCabe always points them toward neighborhoods rather than landmarks. “Rather than hopping from landmark to landmark, I always recommend choosing a neighborhood, settling in, and letting the city unfold,” she says. Porta Venezia is one of her favorites, noting that it feels lived-in and offers some of the city’s best vintage shopping. Bivio Milan is a standout for pre-owned fashion.

Navigli is another must-visit, especially for travelers interested in vintage shopping and aperitivo culture. The canal area is lined with small boutiques, secondhand fashion shops and casual spots for a drink, and it’s where Milan’s creative energy comes through most clearly. McCabe also recommends La Double J, founded by American designer JJ Martin, as a must-visit for colorful contemporary women’s fashion and homewares.

One Experience Not to Skip Spritz aperol drink in Milan overlooking Piazza Duomo

BrasilNut1 for Getty

“In Milan, the one experience I always tell people not to skip is going up onto the Duomo di Milano terraces,” McCabe says. “Seeing the Duomo from the piazza is impressive, but being on the roof is something else entirely.” From the terraces, “you’re walking among the spires and statues, looking out over historic rooftops and modern towers at the same time.” For McCabe, it’s the experience that best captures the city. “It gives you a real sense of Milan as a city that honors its past while constantly evolving.”

Amy Slaton Shares a Personal Pause, '1000-Lb Sisters' Fans Notice a Visible Change

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:20am

Amy Slaton has been extra crafty lately. And 1000-Lb Sisters fans want a piece of it!

But the 38-year-old mother of two dropped some big news on Instagram regarding her artwork.

"Right now my business is closed."

Slaton opened up about her plans to sell her art in a "Frequently Asked Questions" Instagram video on Jan. 5, 2026.

"I’ve gotten an overwhelming response with people wanting to buy my art," Slaton says in the post. "I’m truly grateful. Right now I’m selling any artwork because I’m working on stock. I’m working on a website so y’all can purchase it from there."

The TLC star's artwork has been showcased throughout Season 8 of 1000-Lb Sisters. She has been making the centerpieces for her wedding to Brian Lovvorn and even gifted a custom canvas print to family friend Billy the Minister in Season 8, Episode 5.

According to Slaton's post, fans should stay tuned to her Facebook page for updates on the website. She'll announce when it's live and her art is ready to shop there, but the post will likely be shared to her Instagram, too.

"You go girl!" one excited fan commented on the post. "Can’t wait to see the website!"

Others were more excited about other more subtle news in Slaton's post — her eye surgery. While Slaton hasn't publicly addressed any surgery surrounding her eye, fans first noticed the difference in her November 2025 wedding photos.

"Omg eye reveal," one fan wrote in the comments of Slaton's art announcement.

"Amy your eye!" another chimed in. "I'm so happy you were able to get that surgery."

"You look great Amy!" said a Facebook user. "Glad to hear the art is helping you. I really related to the newest episode when you talk about not being able to drive. I feel like people look down on people who can't drive too much and it sucks."

Another Instagram user had a more personal connection and questions for the reality TV star.

"Amy omg....you were beautiful then and you are beautiful now!" they started. "My daughter is going to have the same surgery you had on your eyes. Any tips? Was it painful? How was recovery? I am so happy for you!"

Slaton did respond to a few comments on Instagram and Facebook, but said nothing regarding her weight loss or eye surgery.

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 5:00am

Ice skaters Alysa Liu and Ilia Malinin, snowboarder Chloe Kim, skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn, and oodles of other athletes will compete at the 25th Winter Olympics beginning on Friday, Feb. 6, in Milan-Cortina, Italy.

Although some sports will start two days earlier, the 2026 Games will officially kick off with the opening ceremony at Milan’s San Siro Olympic Stadium. Fans always look forward to the music, celebrity performers, Parade of Nations and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron. Milan organizers have also teased innovative approaches to the welcome festivities.

Sports lovers last watched the Winter Games broadcast from Beijing, China in 2022, but they were marred by the COVID-19 pandemic and flopped in the TV ratings. The 2024 Paris Summer Games, however, were a huge hit, with NBC averaging 30.4 million viewers a day. Although the Winter Olympics are less popular than the Summer Games—with just 16 sports featured—NBC Universal and its various platforms are pulling out all stops to get fans to tune in.

Italian opening ceremony creative director Marco Balich has hinted there will be plenty of heart-warming moments in the snow. Balich said his team is aiming for a “very essential human-driven ceremony with no technological thrills.

Christophe Dubi, the Olympic Games executive director, said, “We’re gonna celebrate the athletes the way they have done in Paris. And that is what will make for a true Olympic experience back to the roots.”

If you’ve ever wanted to take home one of those fluffy white comforters from a hotel, Amazon is making it surprisingly doable right now. The Serta Goose Feather Down Comforter is available in three sizes: twin, full/queen, and king, and three warmth options, including all season, extra warmth, and light warmth. The best deal is the full/queen all-season version, which is marked down to $64 (originally $153), making it 58% off.

The comforter is filled with a blend of goose feathers and down and wrapped in a soft, breathable, hypoallergenic cotton cover. It’s considered a medium-weight comforter, making it suitable for year-round use. The fill is evenly distributed, so it drapes smoothly across the bed without any clumping.

If you’re concerned about overheating, the all-season comforter has enough weight to feel cozy and substantial, but it doesn’t trap warmth — unless you want it to, of course. That’s also why it’s offered in multiple warmth options, so you can choose the version that works best for your sleep style, whether you tend to run warm or want something more insulating.

Several reviewers compared the feel to “sleeping in a cloud,” with one person calling it a “giant, fluffy marshmallow.” Another said it's“absolutely amazing and feels truly hotel-quality,” also describing it as “soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin.”

Beyond its cloud-like comfort, this is an easy piece to work into almost any bedroom. The clean white look pairs well with patterned sheets, neutral bedding, or a duvet cover, and the medium weight allows it to be used on its own or layered, depending on the season. It works just as well for everyday use as it does in a guest room.

Philadelphia’s 2026 Fourth of July Celebration Will Be the Largest in the Country—with Six Nights of Fireworks

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 4:10am

If there were ever a year for Philadelphia to go all out for the Fourth of July, 2026 is it. As the birthplace of American independence gears up for the nation’s 250th birthday, the city’s annual Wawa Welcome Americacelebration is scaling up in a big way—including more days, more events and the biggest fireworks lineup the festival has ever seen.

Produced by Welcome America, the 2026 Wawa Welcome America festival will stretch across 16 days, transforming late June and early July into a citywide celebration. The headline-grabber: six nights of fireworks, the most ever presented as part of the festival and a fitting nod to the America250 milestone.

Fireworks won’t be limited to just July 4. Instead, they’ll be spread across multiple nights tied to major festival events, including celebrations of Black Music Month, Kidchella, waterfront concerts and, of course, the grand finale on Independence Day along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. For locals and visitors alike, that means more chances to catch fireworks without having to pack everything into one night.

Another major addition for 2026 is the Salute to Independence Semiquincentennial Parade, set for July 3. The parade will feature representation from all 50 states and U.S. territories and follow an expanded route through some of the most historic streets in the country. Marching bands, floats, cultural groups, military units and Miss America state and territory titleholders will all take part—turning the city itself into the parade route where independence was first declared.

Fan-favorite events are also returning, including Wawa Hoagie Day, Gospel on Independence, Free Museum Days, Pops on Independence and the long-running July 4 concert and fireworks show. Longstanding cultural celebrations like the Juneteenth Block Party and Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta will once again spotlight Philadelphia’s diverse communities as part of the broader festival.

July 4 itself will begin, as it always does, with the Celebration of Freedom ceremony outside Independence Hall, followed by a full day of events leading into the nighttime concert and fireworks on the Parkway.

With six nights of fireworks, a massive multi-state parade, and more than two weeks of programming, Philadelphia isn’t just marking Independence Day in 2026—it’s hosting what’s shaping up to be the largest America250 Fourth of July celebration in the country.

The Globally Curated Wine Box That Will Take Galentine's Day to the Next Level

Fri, 02/06/2026 - 4:05am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Galentine's Day is proof that not every February celebration needs roses, reservations or a romantic subplot. It's the perfect excuse to get your favorite people together—no pressure, no expectations, and definitely no awkward prix-fixe menus. (Who wants to be told what to eat?) The whole point is celebrating friendship in its purest form, which is way more fun than stressing over whether a date remembered to make a plan.

All you really need for a great Galentine's is a solid group chat, a table full of chocolate, and time to actually sit around and catch up. Add in good wine (especially if you're proudly sisters of the grape), and suddenly you've got a night that's effortless and special all at the same time. It can be as low-key as sweatpants and takeout or as festive as a themed spread and matching glasses—either way, it counts.

Having personally sampled each of these wines myself, I'm particularly smitten with the Ca-Bear-Nay, and not just because of the super cute name. It's smooth, full-bodied and will have you from the first sip. I'm also partial to the Viognier because it's perfectly balanced and drinkable with light bites. But, really, there isn't a bad bottle in this bunch. They're all winners.

If you're looking for some fun, kitschy Galentine's gifts, there's a Wedges of Love Cheese Bouquet that has your foodie friend's name written all over it (or a Pickle Bouquet if that's more their style). Or you could go with something a little craftier, using a simple but gorgeous jar as your base, filling it with candy or travel-size beauty products for your bestie.
