If you want to get more technical, Stanley Nolan, stylist, Ogle School Stafford cosmetologist and beauty education specialist, gets a little more specific, telling us that a hair gloss treatment enhances shine and boosts vibrancy by smoothing the hair cuticle, which helps reflect light and refresh the overall look of the hair.

"Hair glosses add a silky barrier on the outside of your hair,” says Chaz Dean, founder of WEN, hairstylist and colorist. This helps reduce frizz and give an overall high, reflective shine.

The bottom line? Gloss smooths the cuticle for shine, adjusts tone for better color and creates a protective layer that makes hair look healthier and more vibrant.

What's the Difference Between Hair Glosses and Glazes?

The terminology can be confusing, but the experts offer clarity on whether there's actually a difference.

"Hair glosses and glazes are very similar and share many of the same benefits," Nolan explains. The main difference is that a glaze slightly penetrates the first layer of the cuticle, which helps the results last a bit longer compared to a traditional gloss.

Dean offers a different take on the distinction, sharing, "Glosses are generally colorless and glazes can help boost a color close to your natural tint."

The consensus? The terms are often used interchangeably, with only minor technical differences that most consumers won't notice. Focus on the formula and results rather than getting hung up on terminology.

What Are the Disadvantages of Doing an At-Home Gloss Treatment?

The stylists are honest about the limitations and risks of DIY glossing.

Cohen warns about the most common mistake. "The biggest mistake is over-toning," he says. If the shade is too ashy or left on too long, hair can go flat or muddy. 

If you want to do this at home, he advises that you stick close to your current tone and follow the timing on the box exactly. 

The takeaway? At-home glosses can work for simple shine maintenance but professional glossing delivers superior, customized results.

How Long Does a Gloss Last on Hair?

The longevity varies based on hair type, washing frequency and the specific formula used.

Depending on how often you wash your hair, it can last up to six to eight weeks, shares Cassie Cohen, colorist at Chris McMillan Salon. However, it must be said that some of the stylists we talk to said that eight weeks is very much the upper range. 

For example, Jeremy Cohen had more conservative estimates with important context. "About three to five weeks depending on how often you shampoo and the condition of the hair," he says. "Blondes fade faster, brunettes usually hold tone a bit longer."

So, expect three to six weeks of results depending on your hair color, washing frequency and the products you use. Less frequent washing and sulfate-free shampoos extend gloss longevity significantly.

Are Glossing Treatments Good for Hair?

The stylists agree that when done properly, glossing is beneficial for hair health.

"Yes. Most glosses are acidic, which helps close the cuticle, boost shine and improve the overall feel of the hair," Jeremy Cohen says. "Done properly, they actually make the hair feel healthier."

Dean offers the most measured perspective. "Typical Shine Glossings don't harm the hair, but don't necessarily heal it in any way," he notes. "They improve their appearance for a short amount of time."

The verdict? Gloss treatments seal the cuticle and improve hair's appearance and feel, though they're cosmetic enhancement rather than deep repair. They won't fix damaged hair but they absolutely improve how healthy hair looks and behaves.

I love them so much that after consistent visits to the best bagel shop in my area, Bagel Nosh in Waldwick, NJ, they've finally befriended bagel-loving little ol' me.

The owner, Christie Pollack, is truly the bagel queen of North Jersey. I've worked in food media as a culinary producer, recipe developer and food writer for years. I've won awards for my work, including two Emmys, but this was something extra special: my true Jersey girl food moment!

The idea for Hot Cocoa Cream Cheese came to me over the holidays while my kids were drinking hot cocoa and enjoying bagels for lunch on a cold day. I immediately ran to the kitchen to see what it would taste like if we combined the two into a delicious schmear.

My kids are very into sweet flavors of cream cheese, so I had a feeling that if it was a hit in my house, it would be a hit at the bagel shop—and it absolutely has been. It’s rich, chocolatey, fluffy and nostalgic in the best way…and it’s already sold out twice.

Ingredients for Hot Cocoa Cream Cheese

To make this at home, you only need a few simple ingredients: 16 ounces of cream cheese, 2/3 cup of your favorite hot cocoa mix, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2/3 cup of mini marshmallows, plus a few extra for sprinkling on top. It's only four ingredients, but the result tastes like something straight out of a snow day dream.

How To Make Hot Cocoa Cream Cheese Yourself

Start by adding your cream cheese, hot cocoa mix and vanilla extract to a mixing bowl. And here's where Christie's piece of advice for mixing comes in. She taught me that the best flavored cream cheeses are mixed by hand, not with a mixer. Overmixing can make the texture too loose, and you want this to stay thick enough to spread on your bagel.

And when she says, "by hand," she means that literally, so put on some gloves and get squishing! Gently mix until the cocoa is fully incorporated and the cream cheese turns that perfect hot-cocoa brown.

Once the mixture is smooth and combined, fold in the mini marshmallows by hand. Transfer it to a serving bowl or storage container, top with a few extra marshmallows and it’s ready to serve (or chill until breakfast).

I know I'm a little biased because this flavor was something I thought of, but I genuinely think it's fantastic and crowd-pleasing. In an Instagram post shared on February 19, Janelle Brown shared an update on the building of her new home. The structure sits on a piece of property she purchased with daughter Maddie Brown Brush and her husband, Caleb Brush, that they eventually want to turn into a business, Taeda Farms.

"What stopped working for me was waiting to feel ‘certain’ before committing. I had to learn to trust myself instead,” the reality star concluded. "The house holds proof that I can choose and support myself.”

As a mom of two, my kids always come first. Of course, that also applies to our family vacations. From Disney World to Universal Studios, we’ve visited countless theme parks and family-friendly destinations for a guaranteed good time. Yes, you read that right. I removed my mom “hat” and welcomed some much-needed me time. The Rosewood Baha Mar was the perfect place for me to unwind and reconnect with myself. Admittedly, I relish in luxury resorts, and this property answered the call. 

Set within the sprawling 1,000-acre oceanfront complex on Nassau’s Cable Beach—home to Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, SLS Baha Mar, a 15-acre water park, and private residences—Rosewood Baha Mar stands apart as the most refined and luxurious of the three hotels. 

It’s a restorative haven for Gen-Xers and elder millennials like me who need a place to reset, recharge, and return home better equipped to care for ourselves and the people who depend on us. Plus, there’s plenty to do if you want to have some fun too! 

Here’s my honest review on my multi-night stay at Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas.

The Lobby

As soon as I arrived, the off-the-charts hospitality was already in full effect. Before I could make my way to the check-in counter, I’d already been offered a cool, cucumber-scented towel and a refreshing, rum-spiked welcome drink. 

The lavish, British colonial-style lobby was awash in neutral, calming tones creating an airy, coastal vibe. The pristine marble floors sparkled, capturing flecks of light cast by the recessed lighting. The sprawling lobby served as the hub connecting the East and West wings of the resort.  

The hum of attentive staffers buzzing about let me know that I would be in good hands during my stay.

With 131 guest rooms and 90 suites, the beach oasis is big, but not overwhelming. I stayed in a sizable garden suite in the West Wing, with a spacious, private balcony overlooking a fortress of lush palm trees and tropical foliage with partial views of the sparkling, cerulean ocean. 

Decorated with modern Bahamian flair, the room boasted a king-size bed, writing desk, and a sectional couch, perfect for lounging after a long beach day. A flat-screen TV and thoughtfully styled shelving—lined with artful coffee table books, cocktail essentials, and a Nespresso machine—completed the space.

The contrast of dark hardwood floors and creamy hues throughout added an elevated elegance that many Caribbean resorts lack. 

Plus, the roomy bathroom had a freestanding bathtub and double-vanity, which I always appreciate—even when I’m traveling solo.

If you consider yourself a die-hard foodie with discerning taste buds, dining at the Rosewood will be a treat. The resort has six restaurants and bars, including a breakfast spot and poolside dining. I dined at several of the eateries and was delighted with just about every bite. 

Café Boulud, arguably, the resort’s crown jewel features classic steakhouse cuisine with a French twist from legendary culinary master, Daniel Boulud. Since I’m not a steakhouse person, I was pleasantly surprised by the shrimp and lobster rigatoni dish that I ordered. It had just the right amount of spice and the pasta was cooked to perfection.  

Costa, my favorite restaurant on the property, serves fresh traditional Mexican fare mixed with Bahamian influences. I had the best ceviche of my life, along with a flavorful paella that was as beautiful as it was delicious. I also sipped a spicy strawberrymargarita that complemented my meal. The best part? The restaurant’s unique and inviting design. Meals are served in spacious, open-air cabanas, surrounded by a koi pond. Watching the colorful koi swimming underfoot was an unusual dining experience. For me, those kinds of distinctive details are what sets properties apart and creates lasting memories for guests.

I also enjoyed The Library, a light-filled comfortable lounge where breakfast and Afternoon Tea are served. I dropped in for Afternoon Tea and had an array of sweet and savory pastries and chamomile tea that soothed my soul and settled my temperamental stomach. 

Stopping by Manor Bar is also a must. As soon as I entered, it was as if I had been transported back in time thanks to refined, early 20th century decor and overall vibe. Whether you want to stay onsite or venture off on an excursion, the resort offers a variety of activities to meet your needs. Because I prefer quieter, more meaningful activities, I chose The Ocean Guardian Experience—a half-day boating excursion with renowned Bahamian dive guide and filmmaker André Musgrove, who shared his deep knowledge of the island’s marine life. Other guests on the excursion snorkeled while I soaked up the sun and took selfies. It was a relaxing and enlightening way to see more of the island. 

Again, I’m very chill and laidback when it comes to activities and after all, this trip was intended to be a reset. So, what better way to accomplish that then by joining in a yoga session with some eye-catching special guests: flamingos! 

Doing yoga moves with flamingos was not on my bingo card, but it was an enjoyable and memorable experience that I won’t soon forget. 

Of course, the sprawling resort also has several pools. Each of the pools are designed for relaxation. During my stay, I didn’t hear any blaring music pumping from the speakers. Instead, I heard nature’s soundtrack of chirping birds and crashing ocean waves. I don’t know if I just got lucky or if the low-key vibe is typical. Nonetheless, I was happy to not be subjected to loud music throughout the day and night.

If you want to bring your kids with you, there’s plenty to keep them busy and entertained. The Explorers Club has daily activities like treasure hunting and nature-inspired games. There are also childcare services for parents who might want a break. Plus, the spa even has a thoughtful selection of kid-friendly treatments.

Speaking of pampering, the resort’s Sense Spa has seven rooms and offers Bahamian-influenced treatments. I indulged in a 60-minute, full body, deep tissue massage with just the right pressure, leaving me relaxed, yet rejuvenated.

The spa also offers facials, pedicures, manicures, makeup, and hair services. 

Getting There

No need to worry about a long ride to the resort. Thankfully, the property is only a 15-minute drive from Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) airport. Guests can book private transportation or hail a taxi to and from the resort. Keep in mind that ride-sharing app services like Uber and Lyft are unavailable in the Bahamas.

The teriyaki sauce is soy-free, made instead with coconut aminos, and contains ginger and garlic. Additionally, it is both paleo and keto-certified. The Thai coconut sauce combines coconut milk, basil, and Thai spices, and is currently sold out on the Kevin’s Natural Food website, so if you’re interested in trying it, Costco may be the move.

In addition to the simmer sauces, Kevin’s products have been a longtime staple at Costco warehouses, with customers finding sous-vide chicken and beef options in the refrigerated sections in a variety of flavors like cilantro lime and Korean BBQ. 

Reddit users have taken notice of the simmer sauces, posting on social media that they “really like the Thai coconut chicken. I actually just got the simmering sauce packet from my grocery store yesterday…first time I’ve seen just the sauce. Should be cheaper this way too.”

A Redditor on another thread praised the brand’s offerings at Costco, writing that they “really enjoy Kevin’s for a quick meal. The meat always seems to be juicy and the flavors are bold.”

Though some users on the social media platform have griped about the quality of the product, saying it’s not as good as comparable items at restaurants, others defended the brand’s Thai-style coconut chicken, writing, “I don't know if the hate is coming from people trying to compare it to honest to goodness Thai cooking, or if you're comparing it to your favorite restaurant's dish, but it's actually pretty good for what it is.”

Baz Luhrmann knows exactly what he would say to Elvis Presley if he were given the chance.

Luhrmann, who directed the new movie EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert, as well as the 2022 biopic Elvis, was asked in a recent interview what he would tell Presley if he was able to speak to the late King of Rock and Roll when he was still alive.

"If he was here in this room, what would it be [that you would say]?" Jermaine D'Vauz asked Luhrmann on a recent episode of the Jermaine Plane podcast.

"I think I'd say to him, 'Elvis, you've got to go on tour and I'm going to help you do it,'" Luhrmann replied.

Presley was never able to embark on a world tour, due to what is widely believed to have been a decision made by his manager Colonel Tom Parker, who was an undocumented immigrant from the Netherlands and feared that leaving the U.S. would mean he could never return.

As a result, Presley spent the last years of his life performing in Las Vegas at the International Hotel (later renamed the Hilton Hotel, and now called the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino). He died in August 1977 at the age of 42.

"I think Elvis lives in a very rarified space to where other artists live...maybe one other artist is that famous," Luhrmann explained during the podcast interview, noting that he would've felt compelled to "help" Presley before his tragic downfall.

"I think your compulsion would be to do something to not protect him, but help him get through that kind of chamber that he was locked into that was self-destructive," Luhrmann stated.

"In a crazy way, I'm taking Elvis on the world tour he never had," he added.

Paul Stanley shared his thoughts on the future of rock music. The legendary KISS frontman recently told People magazine that he hopes the next generation of musicians will stop relying on technology and instead go old school.

“I'd like to see people playing instruments,” Stanley, 74, told the outlet in late January. “I'd like to see people relying less on computers and technology and relying more on passion.”

“Perfection, that's not what I consider music,” the “Detroit Rock City” singer added. “Music is passion.”

Stanley, who co-founded KISS in 1973 with Gene Simmons (bass guitar), Ace Frehley (lead guitar), and Peter Criss (drums), previously said the best music is not perfect.

In 2021, he told Audio Media International, "Too often, people replace passion with perfection. If you listen to all the music that you love. It’s not perfect. Sometimes that music is almost going off the rails, and that’s what makes it so great!”

Stanley also noted that all of his favorite music was made with “passion.”

"All the great music that I loved when I was younger was not made under a microscope or on a computer," he previously told Cleveland magazine. "Whether it was all the great Motown stuff, James Brown, Led Zeppelin, or the Beatles — the list goes on and on — that music was made from passion.”

While he did not call out any artists or bands directly, Stanley has acknowledged that he was bound to see technology come into play after so many years in the music business.

“I think if you manage to survive and thrive through multiple decades, you are bound to see technology and it’s part of evolution,” he admitted to Digital Journal in an interview.

The KISS rocker, who penned hits such as "Rock and Roll All Nite" and "I Was Made for Lovin' You" over his 50-year career, warned up-and-coming artists that they must be passionate about music or they will be set up to fail.

“If you have any doubts about becoming a musician, then find something else,” Stanley said. “It is very difficult, and you will only be doing it if you have no choice. Do it if you must do it, and you are compelled to do it, and if it’s something inside of you. Don’t make the intellectual decision, make the emotional decision.”

McCabe suggests that Da Aurelio, perched on Passo Giau, is as much about the setting as the food. “Sitting at over 6,000 feet, it offers sweeping views of some of the Dolomites’ most iconic peaks, including Marmolada. The menu highlights traditional mountain dishes, and dining on the terrace on a clear day is one of the most memorable food experiences in the region.” For a fine dining experience, she recommends Tivoli, led by Michelin-starred chef Graziano Prest, which “focuses on refined Alpine cuisine made with seasonal ingredients and meticulous technique.”

If you aren't a skier, the region offers plenty of high-altitude recovery. McCabe is a fan of Bormio Terme, where the thermal baths offer “a modern spa experience with indoor and outdoor pools fed by naturally hot spring water.” She adds that, “surrounded by snow-covered peaks, it is an ideal place to slow down after days on the slopes.” For travelers visiting outside the winter season, she recommends a via ferrata, as it is "the experience that best captures the spirit of the Dolomites." These secured mountain routes follow historic paths carved into the rock, many of them originally built during World War I. “Walking them today combines adventure, history and extraordinary views, offering a powerful way to experience the mountains beyond skiing.”

On Feb. 21, 1981, Dolly Parton began a two-week run at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “9 to 5,” marking the first—and only—time she topped the all-genre singles chart as a solo artist.

While Parton had already racked up numerous No. 1 hits on the country charts, “9 to 5” represented a breakthrough on the broader pop landscape. The song simultaneously topped the Billboard Country chart and the Adult Contemporary chart, making her only the second woman in history up to that point to lead both the country chart and the Hot 100 with the same single (the first was Jeannie C. Riley with her 1968 hit "Harper Valley PTA").

Written and recorded for the 1980 comedy film 9 to 5, which starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Parton in her feature film debut, the song quickly became something far bigger than a soundtrack single. Its sharp, witty lyrics about workplace frustrations—and that instantly recognizable “typewriter” rhythm Parton created by clicking her acrylic nails together—helped turn it into an anthem for working women across America.

Released as a single in November 1980, “9 to 5” earned Parton an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song at the 53rd Academy Awards and multiple Grammy nominations, ultimately winning Best Country Song and Best Country Vocal Performance, Female. In 2004, the American Film Institute ranked it No. 78 on its “100 Years…100 Songs” list.

Commercially, the song was a juggernaut. It was certified gold by the RIAA in February 1981 and has since gone multi-platinum, with millions of copies sold and streamed worldwide. It topped charts in Canada and reached the Top 10 in several international markets.

Despite Parton's catalog full of hits, “9 to 5” remains her only solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Though she later returned to the top of the chart in 1983 with “Islands in the Stream,” that song was released as a Kenny Rogers single with Parton as a featured artist.

Before “9 to 5,” Parton had come close to pop chart supremacy. “Here You Come Again” reached No. 3 in 1977, while songs like “Two Doors Down,” “Baby I’m Burnin’,” “Starting Over Again,” and even “I Will Always Love You” all charted on the Hot 100 without claiming the top spot. But it was “9 to 5” that finally pushed her all the way to No. 1.

More than four decades later, the song’s legacy continues. It inspired a Broadway musical adaptation, has appeared in countless films and television series, and remains one of the defining tracks of Parton’s career—a career that led to her 2022 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

As Cheers' bar lights dimmed for the last time, viewers watched the end of a beloved era in television history.

The series debuted on September 30, 1982, and became an NBC Thursday-night staple. Cheers ran for 11 seasons, airing its final episode on May 20, 1993.

The Los Angeles Times reported that an estimated 93 million people tuned in for the series's last episode. These staggering numbers cemented Cheers' place in television history as the second-most-watched finale after the 1983 M*A*S*H series ender, "Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen," with over 100M viewers, reported The Washington Post.

The Cheers finale, “One for the Road,” was a farewell made for its fans. Every beloved character found a satisfying ending, familiar faces returned for one last toast, and the series closed its doors with a warmth and charm that lingered long after the screen went dark.

Entertainment Weekly reported that the 98-minute episode revisited the infamous Sam (Ted Danson) and Diane (Shelley Long) romance one last time, six years after they split. However, they realized that despite rekindling their relationship, they weren't meant to be together forever after making plans to marry and move to Los Angeles.

But before that, his longtime friends Carla (Rhea Perlman), Cliff (John Ratzenberger), Norm (George Wendt), Fraiser (Kelsey Grammer), and Woody (Woody Harrelson) gave Sam every reason not to leave the bar and his friends behind. Sam said, “All you fellas do is just sit there and watch the world go by. You don’t need me for that.”

He added, “I need more than this. You should need more than this. I am not your mother. This is not your home.” After the group walked out, they returned. Cliff delivered a memorable one-liner: "You gotta go a lot further than that to insult us.”

Also in the episode, Rebecca (Kirstie Alley) married Don (Tom Berenger), Woody joined the Boston City Council, and got Norm a job there, and Cliff received a work promotion.

When it comes to soap opera supercouples, Luke and Laura were it for General Hospital. But on All My Children, it was Dr. Cliff Warner and Nina Cortlandt.

The power couple, played by Peter Bergman and Taylor Miller, ruled AMC in the 1980s. The Pine Valley pair’s decade-long daytime TV romance was full of on and offs and ups and downs, but fans witnessed four separate wedding ceremonies before the couple rode off into the sunset to Denver in 1989.

Bergman went on to a long run on The Young & the Restless, playing Jack Abbott, while Miller scaled back from acting but made a few return cameos on AMC in the 1990s and for the series’ 40th anniversary in 2010.

During a recent appearance on the SOAPY podcast, Bergman, 72, looked back on his time on All My Children, which ended its 41-year run in 2011. The actor noted that one of his “favorite things to play as an actor is falling in love.”

He also revealed that while he never returned to AMC after 1989, he remains friendly with his four-time TV wife.

“That was my first experience as a supercouple,” Bergman said of the Cliff and Nina pairing. “And that, of course, was the years of the crest of the daytime wave. We didn’t know it at the time that daytime would never be bigger than that. It was just completely crazy, and Taylor and I weathered that together and still have a lifelong friendship.”

Of why he and  Miller left AMC at the same time, Bergman did not blame his co-star for wanting to move on to other things.

“It was a confluence of things that happened at exactly the right or wrong time,” he said. “The wrong time, as I was not ready to go. These were my family at the time. I had really made some wonderful friendships there, and the absolute right timing because it landed me on The Young and the Restless.”

In 2018, Miller told Voyage Chicago that she was ready for a change after several years on the New York-based soap opera.

“I left All My Children, where I had played Nina Cortlandt for many years, and moved to LA and tried my hand at acting on that coast,” she shared. “I had some success in 10 months.  … I met the man who was to become my husband, left LA, and moved back to NYC to work on Another World for a short time and then back to AMC."

“I finally made the decision to leave AMC, move to Chicago to marry Eli [Tullis],” she further explained of her 1989 departure from the daytime drama series.

Miller also looked back fondly on her supercouple status with Bergman and how well the actor handled their soap opera fame at the time.

“Peter was always very generous with me,” Miller told Smashing Interviews. "I think he had a lot more maturity than I did, and I think that he saw that we needed to work in order for him to work. … He understood more of the business than I did. I was more serendipitous, of course."

Of the All My Children couple’s four marriages, the actress joked, “You really gotta leave if they keep marrying you to the same person over and over. It’s like you need to come up with something else, or I’ve got to go!”

I recently sat down with Juan Phillips, VP of Design and Innovation at Travelpro, to pull back the curtain on the "physics of travel." It turns out, the way most of us handle our four-wheel "spinner" bags is actually causing the very fatigue we bought them to avoid.

Here are the three "design secrets" pros use to navigate the terminal with zero effort.

The biggest mistake travelers make? "Dragging" a four-wheel bag behind them like an old-school upright, says Phillips.

"If you're dragging a spinner, you’re putting unnecessary torque on your shoulder," Phillips explains. High-end luggage is engineered for neutral-gravity movement, meaning the bag should do 100% of the work.

The Fix: You should be able to navigate your bag right alongside you using just your pinky finger. If you have to "muscle" the bag to keep it straight, check your wheel alignment. Many pro-grade wheels use internal magnets to self-align. If you keep the bag perfectly vertical and close to your hip, the wheels "lock" into a straight path, eliminating that annoying wobble.

2. Stop Grabbing the Center of the Handle

Take a close look at your suitcase handle. Is it a flat, straight bar? Most travelers grab it dead-center, but luggage designers actually build "hidden" pressure points into the grip.

The Fix: Look for the contoured palm pads on the left and right sides of the handle. Pushing from the center of the bar actually creates a pivot point that makes the bag harder to control. By resting your palm on the side pad (depending on whether you’re a lefty or righty), you’re pushing from the bag’s "spine." This transfers energy from your core rather than straining your wrist or forearm.

3. The "Softside" Compression Hack

In the battle of hardside vs. softside luggage, many people choose hardside for the look. But if you're an overpacker, you might be making your life harder.

The Fix: Professional travelers often stick with softside luggage for one specific reason: "Give." Because softside bags are made of high-denier fabric rather than rigid plastic, they can "squeeze" into overhead bins more effectively even when expanded. If you frequently fly on smaller regional jets, a softside bag with external "emergency" pockets allows you to tuck away a jacket or laptop at the last second without the bag becoming too "fat" to fit the sizer.

Christopher Knight revealed that he is still asked one big, burning Brady Bunch question more than 50 years after the beloved TV series ended its five-season run.

During a Feb. 20 TV appearance, the actor, who played middle son Peter Brady in the ABCsitcom from 1969 to 1974, told WCNC’s Live Impact News that fans continue to ask him the same thing about his relationship with his TV siblings Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Eve Plumb, Mike Lookinland, and Susan Olsen.

“I guess the number one question is, ‘Are you all really friends?’” Knight,  68, told the Charlotte, NC-based outlet. “You know, and the truth is, we are. But there's something interesting in that question."

"So sort of, I represent everyone, right?" Knight continued. "I'm them. I'm a version of or a member of the family that they haven't seen in a while, right? But there's a part of this relationship that they want to feel good about it, you know, and it's interesting that people want to know that you are friends, truly, that you just didn't or aren't portraying it, but are friends. And that's positive. I mean, there's some hope that we want to get along.”

Knight has reunited with his Brady Bunch co-stars many times since the original series ended in 1974. In addition to a variety show, spinoffs, and a successful 1980s made-for-TV Christmas movie, the former child stars appeared together on HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation and a 2021 Lifetime movie, Blending Christmas. Knight also co-hosts a podcast, The Real Brady Bros., with his TV brother Williams.

In 2021, Knight told People magazine that fans take comfort in having the Bradys as ”family.”

“The show was entertainment, but it actually transcended its initial purpose. It's become an icon of sorts, a touchstone, a representative of what maybe the quintessential American family ought to be," he explained.

Of his off-camera relationship with his Brady co-stars, he added, "I think it's comforting for people that we do get along, that we do treat each other as friends.”

"I have known them for nearly as long as I've known my own kin, and no one longer," the Brady Bunch star added. "This Brady thing, which happens to be as alive today as it was 50 years ago, hasn't allowed us to be apart. That makes us family, and that's the common ingredient."
