When Rolling Stone updated their "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list in 2020 and even made a special coffee table book for their list, this 1970s classic was consistently crowned the No. 1 spot.

The "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" article by Rolling Stone is a huge collaborative project created by the music publication's staff and hundreds of artists, producers, critics and industry experts that was established in 2003, where they first named The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds as the top album. When the list was revised again in 2012, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles was No. 1.

In 2020, when Rolling Stone revisited the list for a third time, Marvin Gaye's 11th studio album, What's Going On, earned the top spot. The revision done during that year was a significant overhaul of the 2003 and 2012 lists, highlighting more artists of color and females this time. The listicle was rewritten again in 2023, and the album still kept its spot.

Released on May 21, 1971 by the Motown Records subsidiary label Tamla, What's Going On is a concept album that is told in the POV of a Vietnam War veteran returning to his home country to witness hatred, suffering and injustice. Many of the songs explore themes of drug abuse, poverty and the war itself.

The album was recorded in various studios in Detroit and at The Sound Factory in Los Angeles in March and May 1971. This is Gaye's first album where he is credited as a producer, and it allowed him to leave the traditional Motown production model and gave the artist complete creative control.

A lot of the stories and songs from the album were inspired by Gaye's own life, specifically when his brother Frankie returned from Vietnam. After falling into a deep depression after the failure of his marriage with Anna Gordy, the death of one of his good friends and duet partner Tammi Terrell, burning out at work and eventually stopping all live performances, he tried to start a career as an NFL player for the Detroit Lions, but did not make the team.

Gaye eventually came back into the studio and produced What's Going On by himself, which was a radical move at Motown. The label did not release it for months, until the singer threatened he would never record with them again. The project was finally released, and it was an instant success. What's Going On became a huge masterpiece and inspired many Motown artists, including Stevie Wonder, to seek artistic freedom. It is also cited that the record is significant to the development of the progressive soul genre.

Commonly referred to as the "Prince of Motown" and "Prince of Soul," Gaye is often considered one of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time. Born as Marvin Pentz Gay Jr. and raised in Washington, D.C., he began his career with Harvey Fuqua's group, Harvey and the Moonglows, before venturing into a solo career in the early 1960s. His debut album, The Soulful Moods of Marvin Gaye, was released in 1961, but did not gain success until he released "Stubborn Kind of Fellow" the next year, which became his first song to hit the Billboard Hot 100. Throughout his two-decade career, he released 17 studio albums and six collaborative albums. In addition, multiple posthumous albums were released years after his death, with the most recent one being Funky Nation: The Detroit Instrumentals in 2021.

The "Mercy Mercy Me" singer passed away on April 1, 1984, at his Los Angeles home a day before his 45th birthday. A physical altercation that happened between him and his father, Marvin Gay Sr., led to him shooting his son twice with a gun that was given to him by the singer's bodyguard months prior, killing Gaye almost instantly.

Though it has been years since his death, Gaye is still considered a prominent figure in music. What's Going On and the rest of his discography can be listened to on streaming platforms.

What do Dunkin' and King's Hawaiian have in common? Both are heading to the Buffalo Wild Wings menu.

The casual dining chain is gearing up for peak college basketball season with not one but two new collaborations, a "kickin'" chicken sandwich, along with the introduction of several "new and improved" sauces.

According to the official announcement, the new King's Hawaiian Cheeseburger sliders are the "new MVP" of the B-Dubs' menu. It starts with two hand-smashed patties seasoned with its signature Golden Fire sauce, laid and dressed on two "irresistibly soft" King's Hawaiian slider buns and served with tangy ranch dressing for a balance of sweet and savory. It can be enjoyed on its own or as part of the Ultimate Sampler.

Buffalo Wild Wings called its Kickin' Chicken Sandwich a "winner" in every bite. It's made with its own Chipotle BBQ dry rub seasoning, creamy kick of Pepper Jack cheese, crisp chile-lime slaw, tangy pickled hot peppers and savory house-made bacon aioli.

Speaking of sauces, the company is launching a new, limited-edition sweet chili sauce and revamped versions of a few established faves.

As for the new Boozy Dunkin' Cold Brew, it's described as "rich, indulgent" and made with Dunkin's signature Cold Brew Concentrate (produced through Dunkin’s partnership with The J.M. Smucker Company, a longtime provider of Dunkin’ packaged coffee products) as its base. B-Dubs bartenders add Jameson Irish Whiskey, Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, and a splash of vanilla, then top it off with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and Dunkin’ sprinkles before serving.

According to the official announcement, the new menu items and sauces are now heading out to participating Buffalo Wild Wings locations. Those looking for the King's Hawaiian Sliders, Kickin' Chicken Sandwich, or Boozy Dunkin' Cold Brew should head to a Buffalo Wild Wings Sports Bar (not a Go location), as they're exclusive to the regular restaurant menu. The new chicken sandwich can also only be ordered inside the restaurant, as it's not available for takeout or delivery.

While the menu revamp surely would have been enough for fans, Buffalo Wild Wings is commemorating its King's Hawaiian collaboration with a special edition merch drop: King’s Hawaiian Cheeseburger Sliders.

The career-first achievement happened on Feb. 25, 1984, when Van Halen's song "Jump" officially reached the No. 1 spot, holding the position for five weeks. A fan of the band even shared a photo of the original chart listing, with "Jump" ahead of other rock hits, including Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon," Nena's "99 Luftballons," Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun," and Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

The song originally came out in December 1983 as a single off Van Halen's sixth studio album, 1984. Other singles from the album included "I'll Wait," "Panama," and "Hot for Teacher."

Although this might be Van Halen's only Billboard Hot 100 hit, other songs still did amazingly well, with "Why Can't This Be Love" peaking at No. 2 in 1986 and "When It's Love" peaking at No. 5 in 1988, while there were many more that broke the top 40 positions.

But when you look at Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs airplay chart, Van Halen nabbed 13 No. 1 hits, including "Jump," "When It's Love," "Poundcake," "Me Wise Magic," and more. Van Halen also went on to win one Grammy in 1992 for Best Hard Rock Performance with Vocal with their album For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.

A former Real Housewives of New York star was stunned when her late best friend, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, reached out during an emotional psychic reading with Hollywood Medium Tyler Henry.

In 2024, Carole Radziwill, widow of John F. Kennedy Jr.'s cousin Anthony Radziwill, sat down for a reading with Henry and was stunned to learn he connected with Bessette. In a YouTube clip, Radziwill claimed that she was "skeptical" about the reading because her life was so public, but she was open to hearing what the medium had to say.

Henry claimed to have "no idea" who Radziwill was. He realized she was "cynical" of the results after she joked that he "had a file" on her underneath his notepad, which he did not.

Radziwill knew "exactly who Tyler was connecting with." She continued, "Of course, when I gave Tyler the ring, he knew, he characterized her exactly as she was. It was so on point, I felt her presence."

Tyler continued that it was a "woman" acknowledging this "heavy" feeling before Radziwill told him the woman he was connecting with was Bessette. She called her "my closest friend" and "my cousin by marriage."

The RHONY star told the medium that the ring he was holding was a 1998 Christmas present from Bessette, who died in the summer of 1999.

"I just have to go on the record," Tyler concluded, "she viewed you like a sister. When she came through she said 'my sister.'"

In many cases, loan officers are compensated through a combination of base pay and commission, depending on loan volume.

That detail becomes important in light of what Devonta shared onscreen.

In Love Is Blind episode 10, Devonta mentioned that the mortgage on his previous house in Charlotte was “like $5,200.”

He later described his income as variable, telling his fiancée Brittany, “It’s sales. It’s weird. One month I could make $12,000. One month I could make $40,000.”

Why Did Devonta Bring Up a Prenup?

In episode 11, the discussion shifted from income to legal protection with a prenup.

Devonta told Brittany he didn’t want to “lose half” of what he had worked for and broached the idea of a prenup. When Brittany asked whether he was saying he definitely wanted one, he responded that it would make him feel “comfortable.”

Brittany admitted she would need to think about it. She added that knowing a prenup was in place might feel like he “had a plan to not fight” for their relationship.

While viewers didn’t see if Brittany agreed to a prenup, episode 11 showed both Devonta and Brittany at their bachelor and bachelorette parties which meant they were still together the night before their wedding. Whether or not they take the leap into marriage remains to be seen.

For most stand-up comedians, bombing on stage is usually par for the course. But for Marc Maron, a disastrous early-career stand-up gig went so badly that it abruptly ended the show's scheduled run.

While headlining a series of shows in Australia in the early '90s, Maron realized he didn’t have enough material and struggled to connect with audiences, culminating in a painfully silent performance and his eventual dismissal from the gig. He says the experience shook his confidence, led to a relapse in his sobriety, and remains one of the most difficult moments of his career, something he described as "the f---ing worst."

His confidence wavered before the show even began when he arrived in town to find himself heavily hyped on a billboard. Already overwhelmed by being far from home, Maron felt unprepared and insecure. It also didn't help that he had to perform after two warm-up opening acts.

"The first time you deal with that, you're like, 'What the f--- are you doing? You're stopping the whole flow!'" he recalled on the Bombing podcast hosted by Eric Andre. "So I'm just sitting there, watching this show going, 'I'm f---ed. I'm so f---ed.' And I go out there the first night and struggle. It's okay, I stretch at the end, but it's okay. And I go through a whole week of previews where it's just getting worse and worse."

The minute Maron got on stage, it was all downhill, he recounted. "I get out there, I'm the headliner, and I'm smoking — you could smoke then — and some guy yells, 'Where'd you get that jacket,' and it was an American dude," he remembered. "And I was so f---ed up in my head confidence-wise that it just shut me down."

He added, "There was a point where all I could hear in a room full of 400 was the embers of my cigarette burning. It's not just a silence, there's like a suction to it. And I felt myself leave my body. It was literally like, 'I'm gonna go watch from over there.' And then I get off stage, and the owner comes up to me, and he has that look of someone who just saw an accident, he's like, 'Are you okay?' And I'm like, 'Yeah, I guess I'm okay.'"

He wasn't okay.

The following day, he got a call from the club owner, who suggested they end their contract and told Maron, "I think maybe you should just go home." Slightly relieved to not have to continue performing, Maron boarded a plane back home.

"I'd been sober for about a year, and on that plane ride back, totally f---in' got s---faced," he shared. "Totally relapsed. I just drank the whole way home."

The brand’s biggest burger to date comes with two quarter-pound beef patties, three slices of melted white cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce, both crispy and slivered onions, all on toasted buns dotted with sesame and poppy seeds. And the pièce de résistance is something McDonald’s is calling a game-changer: the Big Arch sauce. 

The tangy, creamy sauce combines sweet tomato, mustard, and pickle flavors that fans are begging to get their hands on. McDonald’s took to Instagram to get customers pumped about the upcoming menu item, writing, “it’s like all ur favorite mcd’s burgers in one burger. big arch out 3.3” as the caption to a video.

Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchinocalled it 'an original, smart, human, and deeply moving film. And did I mention funny? For anyone who hasn't heard of the film, here's what it's about. Gosling plays Ryland Grace, a middle-school science teacher who wakes up alone on a spacecraft millions of miles from Earth, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns in fragments, he pieces together the stakes: a mysterious microorganism is consuming the sun's energy, Earth is headed toward extinction, and he was sent as humanity's last hope to stop it. Along the way, he discovers he's not entirely alone. His only companion is an alien he names Rocky, built using a combination of practical puppetry and CGI.

The film is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the duo behind The Lego Movie and the Spider-Verse films. It's based on the bestselling 2021 novel by Andy Weir, who also wrote The Martian, the book that became the 2015 Matt Damon film of the same name. The screenplay was written by Drew Goddard, who also adapted The Martian for the screen. As of January 2026, Weir's novel has appeared on the New York Times bestseller list for 28 consecutive weeks.

The book was very well received. 'Andrew Weir's Project Hail Mary,' one fan thread starts, 'is a masterpiece.'

The film runs 2 hours and 36 minutes and is rated PG-13. It was shot specifically for IMAX, and Amazon Prime members can access early screenings starting March 16 (four days before the wide release) through Fandango.

Join The Facebook Group For Your Specific Cruise Voyage

Once you book your cruise, go ahead and open Facebook. In the search bar, search for the cruise ship that you’ll be sailing on, and type in the dates of your voyage as well. There, you will find a Facebook group for your specific sailing. Most people in these groups are in the age range of about 40 to 60, however if you’re younger, don’t let that deter you. I joined the group for my solo Mediterranean cruise when I was 30 years old, and still found it to be very applicable to my time onboard.

Once I joined this group, I saw many conversations happening that helped me to plan my trip. Guests discussed all of the dining options onboard, and I was able to learn how certain restaurants stacked up against each other. Some passengers had been to the ports we were visiting, and were offering tips on the shore excursions that you could book through the cruise line, as well as sharing other options to do on your own. What I found most worth it, however, was connecting with fellow passengers around my age. I ended up finding two 30-year-old women who were also solo traveling in the group, and we ended up dining together several times throughout the trip. If it weren’t for the Facebook group, I don’t think we would have connected!

A TikTok about a Facebook group for a Disney cruise went viral, where passengers all decided to wear the same shirt one evening. They all met up in the ship’s atrium, did a conga line, and connected over a silly, fun concept. This is just a simple example of how joining the Facebook group can make you feel more connected with the community on the ship.

These groups aren’t run by the cruise line, but instead are created by fellow passengers. That makes it a great environment to get candid information about the ship from people who have sailed before. It also makes it an environment where people like to outwardly complain about certain situations that have happened to them onboard.

Unless you enjoy a little bit of drama (hey, I’m not judging) I highly recommend that you ignore those posts. Some people get easily drawn into the negativity, and you don’t want the opinions of others to negatively affect your experience onboard. Again, like I said before, your cruise vacation is what YOU make it–so only take in what serves you on these Facebook groups.

Zach Braff is scrubbing in—and adding to his already impressive net worth! The 50-year-old actor will reprise his most famous—and most lucrative—role as John "J.D." Dorian on the ABC medical sitcomScrubs, more than 15 years after we last saw him in the Season 9 finale. (Scrubs ran for nine seasons from 2001 to 2010, at one point making Braff one of the highest-paid actors on television.)

For the long-awaited tenth season of the Bill Lawrence-created series, Braff will be joined by O.G. Scrubs stars Donald Faison (as J.D.'s best buddy Christopher Turk) and Sarah Chalke (as J.D.'s love interest Elliot Reid). Season 10 premieres on ABC on Wednesday, February 25, marking a major financial and career milestone for the star. (You'll also be able to stream Scrubs the next day on Hulu and with the Disney+ Hulu bundle.)

"To be honest, I was very surprised when it actually started happening that ABC was going to put it in prime time," Braff told The Los Angeles Times about the upcoming revival. "I thought it might be something on Hulu. That felt like a giant audience with Hulu the next day and a really big scale and really a belief in the project. That was really exciting."

He also pointed to Scrubs' "unique mix of comedy and pathos and emotion and fantasy" as reasons for its longevity over the past two decades. "It was so groundbreaking at the time. No one had done that in the network space," he told the outlet. "I think now the goal was...what’s a show that we can have on at 8 that pairs with Abbott Elementary that parents can watch with their kids? Maybe some jokes will fly over the kids’ heads, but it’s not trying to compete with what people are doing on streaming."

The exact financial figures for Braff's entire Scrubs run have not been publicized. However, in 2007, The Hollywood Reporterreported that the actor had inked a one-year contract with ABC that earned him $350,000 per episode in Season 7—a deal that made the star one of the highest-paid television actors at the time. That sum was a massive bump-up from Braff's rumored pay for earlier seasons of the sitcom, which was reportedly in the $75,000–$85,000 per episode range.

How much did Zach Braff make on Garden State?

Specific figures for exactly how much Braff personally took home from his cult-favorite flick Garden State are unknown. But given that the multi-hyphenate talent not only starred in, but also directed, wrote and compiled the dramedy's iconic soundtrack, he likely earned substantial profits off the Sundance darling. The indie film was made on a modest $2.5 million budget; it easily recouped that and then some when the title hit theaters in July 2004, grossing $35.8 million at the box office.

“I think we showed dudes that it’s OK to be a little bit sensitive. It’s OK to be buds who say, ‘I love you,’” Faison told British GQin 2020 while discussing his and Braff’s onscreen relationship as J.D. and Turk. “For a really long time that was looked at as a bad thing. We might not be the original ‘bromance,’ but we’re definitely the best version of what a ‘bromance’ is because we’re very comfortable with each other. The machismo gets thrown out the window and we get to be who we really are.”

These places are chosen through a 12-month period where ratings and reviews are collected, and within multiple categories, the ones that come out on top are given a Travelers Choice Award.

The Best of the Best Award is the highest honor given, with the winners being in the top 1% of listings on TripAdvisor. For the Best of the Best Beaches in the United States, La Jolla Cove came out on top.
