4 Core Traits of People Born on the 12th, Per Numerology

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 4:22am

Birth dates resonate with the symbolic meanings of the single and double digits in numerology. No two birth dates are alike, since each birth date corresponds with one to three numbers. People who are born on the 12th work with three single-digit numbers. This particular birth date can be broken down into individual digits, 1 and 2, which can also be added together to get 3. So, those born on the 12th may feel like they align with the numerological attributes of 1, 2, and 3. In other words, numerology says that these individuals are self-assured and aligned leaders who have faith in their pursuits. Read on to discover the numerological significance of 12, challenges to watch for, and four core personality traits that define you.

The Numerological Significance of Number 12

According to numerology, 12 can be broken down into three single digits: 1, 2, and 3. Each number has a distinct vibration. 1 is an expressive, independent spirit; 2 is a sensitive, intuitive energy; and 3 is a jovial, curious yet flighty power. When these three numbers work together, they create unparalleled traits and attributes for 12.

People who align with 12’s energy are action-oriented individuals who see the bigger picture. Their unbridled optimism gives them the self-assurance and strength to pursue whatever captures their attention. Although they seem powerful and zealous on the outside, these individuals still have a secret, sensitive side. Their sensitivity grants a deeper perspective to their lives, connections, and spiritual journeys. Since they’re attuned with their spirit guides and intuition, they have an unbreakable faith that keeps them going.

Those who embrace 12’s energy embrace Jupiter’s energy. Astrology says Jupiter’s known for luck, abundance, beliefs, and expansion. People who are influenced by Jupiter tend to have a positive outlook on life and a strong moral standing. Lucky Citrine will work wonders for those who embody 12’s and Jupiter’s energies.

Challenges to Watch For

People born on the 12th are gifted in many ways, but some of their strengths may derive from the challenges they face earlier in life.

Self-discovery might not be easy for these individuals. They may feel strongly about who they are, what they desire, and how they express themselves. However, they may have to work twice as hard to cultivate a strong sense of self-confidence to thrive. Building confidence requires self-awareness, introspection, and a positive attitude. These individuals may have to spend time alone to get comfortable with their true selves. It might feel initially lonely, but they may feel more certain when they step away from overbearing relationships and societal expectations. Being self-reflective demands a positive attitude and emotional balance. Regulating their feelings, finding happiness, and developing a can-do attitude will take time.

Once these individuals feel self-assured in their talents, skills, and desires, they can accomplish anything.

Core Personality Traits of Those Born on the 12th1. Unafraid to Take Charge

Who’s up for the challenge? People born on the 12th sure are. Unlike others who may feel unsure of being in charge, these individuals know they were born to lead. It’s not unlikely that they were the ones calling the shots on the playground or in group projects at school. As adults, they may be the first person to respond in a crisis or take it upon themselves to be an acting authority figure. After all, those born on the 12th have the courage and temperament necessary to lead others.

2. Mentally, Physically, & Emotionally Aligned

If anyone has a regulated nervous system, it’s someone born on the 12th. The sun and the moon play a significant role in being in touch with but not being swayed by their feelings. Emotional balance was a difficult yet rewarding lesson for these individuals to learn. They realized that finding inner harmony was the key to having faith in themselves, their actions, and their lives. Attaining this level of alignment is imperative for these individuals, because it will help them go the distance in their spiritual journeys.

3. Go Big or Go Home

“You miss a hundred percent of the shots you don’t take” is the motto for people born on the 12th. They don’t believe in playing small, because they’re guided by lucky, expansive Jupiter. With Jupiter on their side, they carry this faith that anything could happen as long as they get the ball rolling. Something positive will ultimately come from being action-oriented and ambitious. Whether it’s applying for a dream job, asking someone out on a date, or pursuing a personal goal, these individuals know luck is on their side.

4. Self-Sufficient & Intentional

People born on the 12th have what they need within themselves. While they may enjoy companionship, they know they don’t necessarily need a partner or team to be successful. These individuals spend a lot of time figuring out who they are and what they’re good at, so they’re usually self-sufficient, dynamic adults. Not only can they handle whatever life throws their way, they’re also intentional with their ambitions. How they spend their time and energy matters greatly, so they typically don’t waste precious resources on nonsensical pastimes and unfulfilling connections.

Camping season is nearly officially underway, and now is the perfect time to add an easy-to-pack hammock to your gear. A good portable hammock lets you add a cozy spot at any campsite without any bulky equipment — just find two trees to hang it between, and you're ready to relax. The best ones are compact, quick to set up, and comfortable enough to make you forget you’re roughing it. Right now, Walmart has a camping hammock on sale for less than $20 that you'll definitely want on your next trip.

Now just $18, the Mapskey Portable Hammock is 49% off its usual $35 price thanks to a limited-time Walmart flash deal. It's earned praise from shoppers for being far more comfortable and spacious than its price suggests. If you want to truly enjoy lounging outdoors during your next camping trip, this is exactly the hammock you need.

Setting up this portable hammock is a breeze. Simply wrap the included tree straps around a tree trunk or pole and attach with the carabiners on either side of the hammock. You can even hang it between two sturdy porch beams for backyard lounging at home. The nylon fabric is lightweight, so you can feel a breeze through it, but it's sturdy enough to support up to 330 pounds.

I've personally packed a similar hammock on multiple trips, and can say that the smaller it packs down, the better, especially if you're hiking to your campsite. This model compresses down into a compact 7-inch wide by 9.5-inch wide and 2.7-inch thick size that's easy to stash in a backpack pocket.

Ella Langley Opens up About the Encouragement She Received From Miranda Lambert: ‘You Are More Important Than This’

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:37am

Ella Langley can say she has a good friend and supporter in fellow country music superstar Miranda Lambert. So much so that the Texas native, 42, is serving as a co-producer on the Alabama-born star’s upcoming highly anticipated sophomore album, Dandelion, the follow-up to 2024’s Hungover.

On a recent episode of Country Countdown USA, where she co-hosted alongside radio personality Lon Helton, Langley opened up about her close friendship with Lambert. During the Feb. 23rd discussion, she talked about the two’s working relationship and shared some helpful advice she received from Lambert that has guided her through the ups and downs of her career along the way.

“[She said to me] ‘You are more important than this job,’” Langley, 26, recalled Lambert's wise words, adding. “She made me care for myself.  Having someone like that made me feel like I’m okay.”

Miranda Lambert Is a Co-Writer on ‘Choosin’ Texas’

For Langley, Lambert’s influence has also led to a dream songwriting session as the pair co-wrote Langley’s current single, “Choosin’ Texas,” alongside her and songwriters Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor

While Lambert has spent decades in the studio recording songs for her own albums since the early 2000s, she has approached co-producing Langley’s forthcoming project with the same level of care as she would her own.

“[She is] such a godsend for me. I always wanted to produce a record with her,” Langley said of Lambert. “After we wrote Choosin’ Texas, she was there for all the sessions.”

‘Choosin’ Texas’ Made History

The Platinum-certified “Choosin’ Texas” has had a historic run since its release on Oct. 17, 2025. Earlier this year, the heartbreak tune gave Langley the title of becoming the first woman to simultaneously lead the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts.

More recently, Langley and Megan Moroneyhave made history as the first two female country artists to top both Billboard’s major all-genre charts simultaneously. Moroney claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with her third album, Cloud 9, while Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” returned to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 after getting pushed out of that position for a week.

“We were talking on FaceTime the other night. We’ve made history with this song, both just baffled and grateful,” Langley said of a recent conversation she had with Lambert about “Choosin’ Texas.” “We loved the song, but never thought it would do this. There’s no way you can predict it.”

Dandelion becomes available on April 10.

Candace Cameron Bure's 'Full House' Co-Star Jodie Sweetin Speaks Out About Their Relationship: 'She Does Her Thing'

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:17am

Candace Cameron Bure andJodie Sweetinhave known each other for decades but they've had their differences through the years.

The Full House co-stars admittedly don't see eye-to-eye when it quite a few issues, making their relationship complicated. During an appearance on Only Child with Bob the Drag Queen, Sweetin reflected on her the status of her friendship with her former on-screen siblings.

When it comes to Bure, who played her older sister DJ Tanner on the show, Sweetin says that the actress "does her thing."

"You know, we sit on very opposite sides of things, and I’m just kind of a loud, outspoken bitch about a lot of things, and that’s not going to stop me," Sweetin hesitantly admitted. "And if that ain’t you, that ain’t you."

As for Sweetin's relationship with co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, she says they're not as close as they were when the show was taping but she understands why they drifted apart.

"The three of us were really really close as kids," Sweetin explained. "They would come to my house for the weekends. I took Mary-Kate and Ashley horseback riding for the first time...We would go to Disneyland together...And I wish nothing but the best for them, but I can't imagine like all the bulls--t that they've had to deal with over the years."

She went on to say that the first time she saw them in "years" was at Bob Saget's funeral in 2022.

"I also I have to think about it like, for me, I did the show from age 5 to 13. That is your childhood, your memorable years. I don't have really much memories before the show. They all have to do with people or things that I did on the show. They started as babies and were 8 when they ended," she explained.

She continued, "So while we were all close then at 8...do you still talk to the people who you were close to then? You might just live in different worlds now. So I've always just kind of been like, 'I get it. You guys are doing your thing.' But it was never like we hated each other or anything like that."

Octavia Spencer on Producing a Meaningful New Project: 'Too Often, Women Are Discarded'

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 11:05pm

For all you fans of The Help (2011) out there, the No. 1 favorite character may go to Minny. It's no wonder, then, that Octavia Spencer won an Academy Award for the portrayal.

Years later, the beloved actress, 55, has stepped behind the camera as producer for a pair of television series. In an all-new interview, Spencer reflects on her intentional career path and why her most meaningful work seems to happen behind the lens.

“I wanted to be a producer before I was an actor because I understand it.” the Green Book executive producer told AARP's Movies for Grownups in an article published Wednesday, March 4. "I see a producer as bringing together material and talent, being a person who solves puzzles. I see it as problem-solving. It’s also a means of generating work, not only for myself but for other people. I think it’s the most important role that I play, actually."

Spencer currently produces two shows for Investigation Discovery: Feds and Lost Women of Alaska. The latter is a three-part documentary that examines the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous people in The Last Frontier through the specific case of a serial killer.

"I always felt that too much attention was being paid to the criminals and not those who are victimized. Far too often, women are discarded," Spencer told AARP amid Women's History Month. "I think it was with the Gabby Petito case, with her being the person that we were most captivated with instead of her assaulter, people realized that we had been focusing on the wrong thing. So we always try to make sure that the women are the central focus, and their families and those that are advocating for them."

Meanwhile, Spencer's Give Them Their Flowers was featured on Oprah Winfrey's coveted Book Club list back in January. The publication that topped the list of books Winfrey, 72, can’t wait to read this year was Small Town Girls by Jayne Anne Phillips.

1971 Hit Ranked One of the Greatest Rock Songs of All Time Was First Performed Live 55 Years Ago

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 11:00pm

"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin was performed live for the very first time 55 years ago today!

On March 5, 1971, the band embarked on a 13-stop tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland called the “Back to the Clubs Tour.”

For this tour, the band decided to perform mainly at smaller clubs they had played earlier in their career, before their rise to fame. The decision to return to these venues, rather than play large arenas and auditoriums, was meant to reward loyal fans who had been with them from the start.

At the time, Led Zeppelin was already one of the biggest bands in the world and had released three self-titled albums.

While the goal of the tour was to say “thank you” to the fans and prove the band wasn’t solely focused on making money, the scarcity of tickets meant many fans were unable to attend the concerts, leading to widespread disappointment.

When Led Zeppelin began the “Back to the Clubs Tour,” they were only months away from releasing their untitled fourth studio album. Widely referred to as Led Zeppelin IV, the record contains classic tracks like "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," "When the Levee Breaks," and, most importantly, “Stairway to Heaven.”

During the very first show of the tour on March 5, 1971, the band took the stage at Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and performed “Stairway to Heaven” live for the first time.

They also played “Going to California” and “Rock and Roll” from the then-unreleased album.

The world radio premiere of “Stairway to Heaven” was recorded at the Paris Cinema on April 1, 1971, in front of a live studio audience, and broadcast three days later on the BBC. It would later appear on Led Zeppelin’s fourth studio album, released on November 8 of that same year.

“Stairway to Heaven” is widely regarded as one of the greatest rock songs of all time. It was voted number three in 2000 by VH1 on its list of the “100 Greatest Rock Songs.” In 2021, Rolling Stone ranked “Stairway to Heaven” number 61 on its “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” list. The track was also officially inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2003.

To this day, the song and Led Zeppelin's untitled fourth studio album are among the band's most well-known recordings.

'60s Film Icon, Whose Career Spans 6 Decades, Turns 88

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:58pm

Few actors can claim a Hollywood career that spans over half a century, but Paula Prentiss has done exactly that.

The beloved film star who rose to fame in the 1960s turns 88 today, making another noteworthy birthday for an actress whose career has spanned six decades. Her performances have made a memorable mark on classic Hollywood comedies and television alike.

Prentiss was born Paula Ragusa in San Antonion, Texas, and she first gained attention while studying drama at Northwestern University. She "took a class with an acting teacher named Alvina Krause. She had an MGM talent scout visit her classes, he had come there before," she shared in a 2019 interview. Prentiss' talent was unmistakable, and shortly after the scout's visit, she was signing a contract and heading to Hollywood.

The starlet's breakthrough came in 1960 when she starred opposite Jim Hutton in the comedy, Where the Boys Are. The film became a major hit, essentially launching her career and becoming one of the era's most defining youth-oriented films.

Over the decade to follow, she earned a reputation for her comedic timing and quick wit, and starred in a series of successful films, including Man's Favorite Sport with Rock Hudson and the star-studded film What's New Pussycat? These performances helped establish her as one of the most recognizable comedy actresses of the era.

In the later half of the decade, Prentiss stepped into the world of television with the sitcomHe & She, starring opposite her off-screen husband, Richard Benjamin. The series not only earned critical praise, but secured her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.

Prentiss continued appearing in film and television projects in the years to follow, including The Parallax View and The Stepford Wives, which went on to become a cult classic.

Today, as she celebrates her 88th birthday, Prentiss remains an enduring symbol of classic Hollywood charm.

Wayfair's 'Charming' $97 4-Drawer Dresser Is Perfect for Organizing Small Bedrooms

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:45pm

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

With spring right around the corner, you might already be thinking about where to put all the sweaters, scarves, and winter accessories that you’ve accumulated over the past few months. If your closet is full or your bedroom could use a little extra storage, the Gracie Oaks Sophia-Mae 4-Drawer Dresser is currently on sale at Wayfair for as low as $97, down from $360. The best deal is on the white version, but it also comes in gray, light gray, and wash gray.

It measures 37 inches high, 29.1 inches wide, and 15.7 inches deep, is made from manufactured wood, and includes four drawers with metal slides and metal handles. Each drawer measures about 14 inches deep by 29 inches wide by 5 inches high, which leaves enough room for folded clothes, accessories, or seasonal items.

The dresser is narrow enough to fit in bedrooms for everyday clothing or accessories, or in closets or along hallway walls where a little extra storage can be helpful. Another benefit is the vertical layout. Instead of spreading drawers across a wide piece of furniture, the storage stacks upward, which helps keep its footprint smaller while still giving you four drawers to work with.

One reviewer wrote, “I love how small yet spacious this is,” adding, “It was fairly easy to build." Another said the dresser is the “perfect size, not too big and not too small,” and a third described it as “charming,” noting it holds a “good amount of items.”

Versatile furniture pieces like this are often priced much higher, especially when they have four drawers and metal drawer slides. Dropping from $360 to $97 makes it a much easier purchase if you’ve been putting off adding another storage piece to a bedroom.

At just $97, the Gracie Oaks Sophia-Mae 4-Drawer Dresser offers plenty of storage at a fraction of its usual price. If you’re reorganizing your bedroom for spring, now is a good time to pick this gem up while it’s still marked down this low at Walmart. Happy spring cleaning!

1978 Outlaw Anthem Was a No. 1 Hit 48 Years Ago Today

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:44pm

48 years ago today, on March 4, 1978, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings celebrated a career milestone with their country outlaw collaboration on “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys.” It was on that day that the beloved tune rose to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

Success

Not only did the timeless duet rise to the top of the chart, but it also held that position for four weeks. Success didn’t stop there; the track went on to win a Grammy Award in 1979 for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

Written by Ed and Patsy Bruce, it was Ed, who originally recorded the track in 1975 for his self-titled album, according to American Songwriter. His original recording made it to the No. 15 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

The Lyrics

“Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys,” delivers a tongue-in-cheek warning to all mothers. The country classic finds the singer telling mommas to be careful when raising their children, as those kids could wind up becoming cowboys, who “ain’t easy to love,” who “like smoky old pool rooms,” and “girls of the night.”

Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys / Don't let 'em pick guitars or drive them old trucks / Let ‘em be doctors and lawyers and such / Mamas don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys / 'Cause they'll never stay home and they're always alone / Even with someone they love,” the two buddies sing in harmony, showcasing their raw, outlaw energy on the chorus.

Nelson and Jennings’ popular version of “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys” appears on their collaborative No. 1 country album aptly titled Waylon & Willie, which dropped via RCA Records in 1978. By the time they had released the project, they had already established a business relationship, having collaborated and toured together, despite being on different record labels.

Waylon & Willie features four more duets, which are: “I Can Get Off on You,” “If You Can Touch Her at All,” “Don’t Cuss the Fiddle,” and “Pick Up the Tempo.”

‘90s Power Ballad Star Flaunts Iconic Summer Look From 18 Years Ago

Wed, 03/04/2026 - 10:28pm

Celine Dion turned up the heat in a striking throwback post that sent fans buzzing.

Behind the glamorous makeup, sparkling stage outfits and show-stopping performances, the “My Heart Will Go On” hitmaker knows how to make vacation moments look effortlessly chic.

The Canadian music superstar surprised her followers by taking them back to 2008, proving that her style and elegance remain timeless and unforgettable today.

In an Instagram update, Dion shared a head-turning photo from nearly two decades ago.

The post featured the iconic singer in a striking one-piece blue bikini with low-back detail, flaunting her long legs with a sexy and confident vibe while soaking up the sun on a yacht.

Completing the look, she styled her hair in a low bun and topped it off with a pair of rimless sunglasses, a quintessential 2000s accessory.

According to her post, the photo was taken in 2008 during her trip to Cape Town.

“Outfits I can’t wait to wear again… Who else is excited for summer?” she captioned her post.

Beyond the hearts and fire emojis, signaling fans’ excitement, Dion’s Instagram update was flooded with admiration and comments celebrating her timeless style.

“SUMMER LOOKS GOOD ON YOU, QUEEN,” one wrote.

“Now that’s more woke it / this is the Celine I know and love. Yes queen. Looking fab, mwah,” another added.

A follower playfully commented, “A Diva! Where's Jack?” referring to the hit Titanic OST.

Others also shared their recollection of the singer visiting the country for a show.

“I remember your concert in Cape Town - my biggest wish came true. Thank you for gracing our country with your presence,” a commenter said.

“I luv to see healthy Celine,” a fan wrote, reflecting on the singer’s vibrant look in the 2000s, especially meaningful given her current health struggles.

Still on the road to recovery, the award-winning singer publicly shared her diagnosis in 2022.

At the time, she revealed she was battling a very rare autoimmune neurological disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

Prior to her diagnosis, the “It’s All Coming Back to Me” singer mentioned first feeling the SPS symptoms in 2008 before a show in Germany.

“The burden was like too much, lying to people who got me where I am today," she said in a pre-recorded interview with Today presenter Hoda Kotb.

Due to her health status, Dion announced changes to her world tour, including her Las Vegas residency show, after "experiencing severe and persistent muscle spasms."

"Now, I have to focus on getting better… I want to get through this as soon as I can," she mentioned in an Instagram post.

In 2022, the five-time Grammy winner was forced to cancel her North American Courage World Tour, which had already been delayed due to the pandemic.
