Patrick Muldoon, best known for his role on Days of Our Lives, has died at the age of 57 following a reported heart attack, according to Deadline. Following the news, his former co-star Christie Clark shared a tribute on social media to the late actor.

Clark returned to Days of Our Lives in 1992 following a year-long absence, during which the role of Carrie Brady was played by Tracy Middendorf. During that time, Carrie had entered into a relationship with Austin Reed (Muldoon). When Clark resumed the role, the pairing’s popularity grew significantly, including a major storyline in the primetime spinoff Days of Our Lives: Night Sins.

Clark shared a tribute on Instagram account, writing: “This gorgeous Irish man was just as beautiful inside as outside. P Muldoon made anyone that met him fall in love with him.”

She continued, “Thank you for the hard belly laughing, nostril flaring uproarious good times I had with you. They’re imprinted on my heart and soul. My Irish friend, Jim morrison/Marlon Brando re-incarnated, lover of life & music.”

Clark also sent her condolences to Muldoon’s loved wones, writing, “Sending massive hugs to his most prized people, Deanna, Patrick Sr, Shana, Amhet, Halo, Arrow and of course his love Miriam. Thinking of you.”

Clark also revealed that she picked I Only Have Eyes for You by The Flamingos to play in the background of her post, noting it was Carrie and Austin’s “love song” on the show. “I will always think of you when I hear this,” she shared, “Smile and think of my lovely mischievous and much missed beautiful friend.”

Clarks on-screen family joined her in the comment section. Deidre Hall, who plays her stepmother Marlena Black, wrote "Christie, how tenderly and expressively put. Thank you." while her on-screen siblings Martha Madison wrote, "Thinking of you and sending so much love." While Eric Martsolf added, "Beautiful."

Muldoon left the series in 1995, with Austin Peck assuming the role of Austin Reed. Muldoon and Clark returned to the series briefly in 2011, for a ten month stint before exiting once again in 2012.

Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing after she was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz., home on Feb. 1—and a petition was recently launched for a private investigative group, the United Cajun Navy, to join the Pima County Sheriff's department in the search.

On Monday, April 20, Fox News Digital reported that an independent journalist, Cherise "Pebbles" Wilson, started a Change.org petition calling for Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos to approve the United Cajun Navy's (UCN) 41-page plan.

"I lost my vulnerable grandmother a couple of years ago, and Nancy Guthrie's disappearance pulled at my heartstrings," Wilson told Fox. "Knowing that somebody took advantage of a loving lady, an elderly lady like that, is really disturbing."

As of writing, Wilson's petition to Nanos has more than 620 signatures.

Days after Nancy went missing in February, the UNC submitted its plan to the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD). In the proposal, the volunteer search-and-rescue group said it would operate under the sheriff's command and have no independent authority.

"We want permission from the lead agency," Josh Gill, an incident commander at UCN, told Fox. "I don't think there would be any harm, I think it would be one step closer to providing some closure not just to the family or the community, but to the nation."

However, Gill said the PCSD has not contacted the UCN about the plan that it provided. "I'm open to developing a new plan with law enforcement," he said.

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Jan. 31. The PCSD launched its search on Feb. 1, with the FBI joining soon afterward. Despite Savannah offering a $1 million reward, no suspect has been named in the case.

How to watch Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4

The series airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX and is available to stream the next day on Hulu, along with additional platforms including Tubi and On Demand services.

Rock fans can likely belt out this 1976 track's leading chant, which has not only become a punk rock anthem, but one often used at sporting events. In the mid '70s, the American punk rock band the Ramones released their debut album and debut single, which cemented them as hit artists early on.

In 1974, Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, and Tommy Ramone formed a band out of Forest Hills, Queens. They took on stage name pseudonyms using Ramone as their last names despite not being biologically related, and started the band the Ramones. The band is tagged as having developed the punk rock genre and is one of its biggest influences.

By 1976, the Ramones released their first single, "Blitzkrieg Bop," which would end up becoming a defining hit in the punk rock genre. It was released in February of that year and was the opening track of their self-titled debut album that released in late April. Despite its cult classic popularity and being tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the "Greatest Songs of All Time" and "Greatest Debut Songs," it never ranked on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. It did become certified Gold by the RIAA and across multiple countries.

"Blitzkrieg Bop" was written by drummer Tommy and bassist Dee Dee, but credited to the band as a whole. The inspiration for the song is as rock 'n' roll as it can get, as reports claimed they were inspired by the story of young fans attending a rock concert.

“It was basically about a few kids going to a concert,” said Tommy, according to Louder, “getting away from it all and having a great time. I happened to pick up Joey Ramone’s guitar, a two-string guitar with A and E strings tuned to a fifth. And I started bashing away on it and came up with the chords.”

The song's title was inspired by the German World War II tactic, blitzkrieg, which means "lightning war" or fast attack. The Ramones track became a success among fans, and so did its chant of "Hey! Ho! Let's go!" Tommy explains he came up with the idea thanks to the Bay City Rollers and their hit track "Saturday Night" as well as a Mick Jagger chant.

"And somehow I came up with ‘Hey! Ho! Let’s go!’ I just liked the term because it made fun of Mick Jagger singing the Stones’ version of Walking The Dog, where he goes ‘High low, tippy toe’. We all used to goof on that and sing ‘hey ho!’ instead," he said.

"Blitzkrieg Bop" has since become a classic hit for the band and is ranked in multiple lists for being one of the "Greatest Guitar Tracks" and one of the best punk rock singles. Critics called it out for being "infectious in its energy" and has since become a staple at sporting events.

Sabalenka Just Hit the Cover of Esquire

Just last week, the tennis queen hit the cover of Esquire and gave a revealing interview inside, in which she opened up about how her father introduced her to tennis at age six. When asked what he taught her, Sabalenka said, "To stay strong no matter what, to be positive no matter what, to have fun in life no matter what. He didn’t realize he was being a good example, because he was also facing a lot of ups and downs. He was always fighting, and that’s why I have a really strong fighting spirit on the court."

Sadly, her father died unexpectedly in 2019. Sabalenka said tennis was her saving grace at that time ("If not for tennis, I don’t know where I would be right now"), but also emphasized the importance of taking the time to actually grieve the devastating loss.

"Going through loss, it’s important to do your work, keep yourself distracted. At the same time, it’s important to grieve, to cry, to go through the emotions. Never hold it inside, because it’ll destroy you from the inside. I was letting it go, but I was able to go on the court and practice," she shared.

As for what she'd be doing if she weren't a tennis player, Sabalenka says she'd like to get a few punches in in the boxing ring, or maybe on the runway.

"Boxing or maybe modeling. Maybe model size plus. I would be good," she shared.

PepsiCo has released a new drink that has fans buzzing. Their sparkling water brand, Bubly, has launched a product that is different from their other releases in a significant way, and it looks like it's already a hit. Bubly Wine Refreshers are now available in Strawberry Peach Rosé and Blackberry Lemon Rosé flavors.

The two new flavors of Bubly are now available in stores. The brand teases, "Balanced flavor. Refreshingly crisp. Because sometimes the best moments are the simple ones."

The Bubly wine refreshers are 4.5% alcohol by volume and contain 100 calories. Each flavor is available in a four-pack of 12-ounce cans. In addition, customers can also pick up an eight-pack that contains four 12-ounce cans of each flavor.

According to the Bubly Wine Refresher Finder page, the refreshers are available at a variety of locations nationwide. Many gas stations and convenience stores carry them, such as Circle K and Kwik Trip. In addition, bigger stores like Walmart and Total Wine have the Bubly Wine Refreshers available, as well.

The new drinks have been in some stores for a few weeks already, and the response seems to be great. In a review on Colette's Cocktails' Instagram page, she gushed over the new flavors and declared, "This may be my new summer drink."

An Instagram user commented, "Flavored wine refreshers!? Bubly has outdone themselves wowwwww."

Another questioned, "Whaaat? How have I not heard of these until now? Seems like a great boat drink too."

On the Bubly Wine Refresher Facebook page, a majority of the comments from followers are from people asking where they can buy the new drinks.

Bubly has previously released mocktail-inspired flavors of its sparkling water. In January, Bubly debuted its limited run of Mojito Breeze and Tiki Sunrise flavors, for example. Their foray into alcoholic beverages seems to already be a hit.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the authentic take on female friendship was already in the works before the cameras even started rolling.

As for Parker, who was 20 at the time of filming, she was drawn to the script because of its rare portrayal of female friendships that weren’t competitive. “I was impressed with [the writer's] fondness for two best friends who aren’t competitive,” she told the Times.

The film became an early stepping stone for all three actors. Doherty would go on to Heathers and Beverly Hills 90210. Hunt built a career spanning Twister, As Good as It Gets, and Mad About You. And Parker became a household name with Hocus Pocus and Sex and the City.

Ironically, Lauper wanted no part of the movie, so an alternate version of the eponymous song appears in the movie. Still, the film has endured as a nostalgic favorite — and now, it’s getting a second life. 

A remake is in the works, with Elizabeth Banks attached to direct, aiming to preserve the humor, hear, and celebration of female friendship that made the original a cult hit.

Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer has been closely following the ongoing Nancy Guthrie investigation. On Monday, April 20, Coffindaffer called out Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, who previously said that he's glad the media is "moving on" from the case.

"Laughs and says he doesn't want the media on the case," Coffindaffer's post on X reads. "The media could be the only way that Porch Guy will be identified," she added, referring to the armed masked man that was seen on Guthrie's front stoop the night that she went missing.

Coffindaffer went on to say that the media getting the footage of the perp out there was the very reason that the FBI released the photos and videos to the public to begin with.

FBI Director Kash Patel released footage obtained from Guthrie's Google Nest camera back on February 10. Over the past three months, investigators, experts, and internet sleuths have analyzed every aspect of the photos in hopes of finding something that would help someone identify the person behind the mask. So far, however, authorities haven't been able to find this person.

Coffindaffer has been very outspoken about "porch guy." In March, she said that billboards that had been erected with Guthrie's photo and the FBI's phone number in a variety of states, should also include a picture of the perp.

"This photo should be next to Nancy’s on the billboards that the FBI put up,” Coffindaffer wrote on X. "The abductor would have hidden Nancy. There's no shortage of fantastic novels lining bookshelves across the globe, whether you're in the mood for a spine-chilling horror story from Stephen King or a swashbuckling classic like Treasure Island.

At the very top of Goodreads' list, Nikola Misovic's Untold Stories of the Little Prince acts as a direct sequel to the now iconic 1943 literary tale, The Little Prince.

Set after the ends of the original story, the book follows the titular Little Prince's misadventures as he wanders through the desert, searching for a hidden forest.

"Along the way, he meets creatures who are struggling on their own journeys: a turtle racing with a hare, a desperate hedgehog crying because nobody can hug him, a grasshopper who believes his destiny is to grow wings, a wise buffalo, a withering flower growing from a crack in a rock and dreaming of floating in a lake…," Goodreads' description of the book reads.

As Goodreads' users wrote in their assessment of the book, the story has a wonderful array of meaningful lessons ideal for audiences young and old alike.

COVID and Natural Immunity

Dr. Ashley L. Drews, MD FACP, System Epidemiologist and Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Houston Methodist, says when discussing COVID or other types of infections, natural immunity refers to immunity developed in response to a natural infection rather than immunity derived from immunization.

“Most people develop natural immunity to subsequent COVID infections following natural infection. This immunity is not long-lasting, and as new COVID variants develop and circulate, a person will again be at risk for infection, even after natural infection,” she explains. 

While natural immunity does sound promising, Dr. Drews says that vaccination has still been shown to be beneficial to those with prior COVID infection, and it is thought likely to improve the durability and breadth of protection.

Natural immunity can also come about after colds or flu, but there can be so many variants of these that it can be hard to hold onto that natural immunity.

“The problem is there are so many cold viruses, so a person never develops natural immunity to all of them, and for influenza, it changes so frequently that immunity past infection does not always confer robust immunity to the currently-circulating strain,” Dr. Drews explains.

What To Know About Spring COVID Infections

There can be an uptick in COVID cases in the spring, especially when we're at the tail end of the surge of winter infections. But in general, Dr. Drews says that there are certain factors that determine the severity of an infection rather than the time of year that the infection is acquired. 

“The severity of a COVID infection depends upon the virulence of the circulating variant and the infected person’s immunity (natural from prior infection(s) and vaccine-induced) combined with underlying immunodeficiency and other health conditions such as chronic lung disease,” Dr. Drews says.

How Long Does Natural Immunity Actually Last After a Spring COVID Infection?

Spring, or any season, isn’t a determining factor for how long you’ll have natural immunity after a COVID infection. It’s the same across the board, no matter what time of year it is. 

“Natural immunity tends to wane relatively quickly after natural infection, typically within about three months,” Dr. Drews says. “However, even after this time, there is a ‘memory’ response, and subsequent infections tend not to be as severe. There is no difference in duration of immunity based upon the season of the infection.”

The Benefits of Natural Immunity

“The benefits of natural immunity are great,” Dr. Drews says. “Natural immunity helps to reduce the risk of reinfection with the same organism twice, and also tends to reduce the severity of infection if reinfection does occur.”

That said, it's always a good idea to get the most up-to-date version of the COVID vaccine to help protect from severe infection—or prevent any kind of infection at all.

At 22, the only thing I was concerned with was what my boyfriend, my best friends, and I were going to do that night. But the reality is that many people don't have the privilege of leading a medically carefree life, even at that young age.

Kayley Boda, a 22-year-old from Manchester, UK, is planning what to do with the estimated 18 months she has left to live. Sadly, in April 2026, Boda was given the terrible news that she had a finite amount of time remaining due to a severe case of lung cancer.

It began when she started noticing she was coughing up a "brown substance with grainy bits" in January 2025, according to Fox News. She claims that she was turned away eight times by doctors who dismissed her cancer as a chest infection. But seven grueling biopsies later, Boda finally had her diagnosis.

"They told me they were 99% sure, [since I was] so young, that it wasn't cancer, so not to worry about it," she said, according to the outlet. "When I got the results back, and they told me it was lung cancer, it felt so surreal."

Despite undergoing surgery to remove a portion of her right lung in February 2026 and initially being given the "all clear," doctors found just this month that the cancer had returned in her pleural lining.

The culprit wasn't cigarettes, as one might imagine; it was actually a daily vaping habit she picked up at the age of 15.

"My symptoms started a few months after I started disposable vapes, and there’s no lung cancer in my family," she said. "I haven’t vaped for three months. I’ve made my partner stop, I’ve made my mom stop, and I’m urging all my friends to stop. Stay off the vapes," she continued, "because they will catch up with you."

Are Cigarettes Worse Than Vaping?

Many people turned to vaping as a cigarette alternative, but the truth is it is no healthier than a cigarette.

According to a 2025 article by Parade, traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes are both conduits for the same harmful, addictive substance: nicotine. The difference lies in the delivery; a metal coil heats the liquid in a vaping device to release the nicotine as an aerosol inhalant, while a cigarette burns tobacco to release nicotine particles.

“The patients I see tell me they smoke because it makes them feel more relaxed,” Dr. Humberto Choi, MD, a pulmonologist at the Cleveland Clinic, told Parade. “They cannot stop because the nicotine addiction is so strong.”

E-cigarettes contain other ingredients that raise both blood pressure and heart rate, weaken the immune system, and put users at a higher risk of heart failure. Plus, they contain many toxic ingredients that can cause long-term lung damage, such as propylene glycol (antifreeze) and vegetable glycerin.

“Your lungs are not made to inhale anything other than clean air,” says Choi. “Once aerosols from vaping enter your lungs, they activate inflammatory cells and increase the risk of infection.”

Now, Boda says she is sharing her story to discourage others from picking up a vape pen.

"The oncologist said this is so rare, and usually something they see in patients who are 80 years old," she said, according to the outlet.

I Dream of Jeannie legend Barbara Eden is honoring her former co-star Patrick Muldoon upon the actor's untimely death.

Eden, 94, took to Instagram to honor Muldoon, who died suddenly on April 19 after a heart attack, Deadline reported. He was 57.

The actor was known for early roles ranging from Saved by the Bell and Who's the Boss to Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place, as well as the cult-favorite film Starship Troopers. However, it was the 2019 family film, My Adventures with Santa, that brought Eden together with Muldoon, as well as actress Denise Richards.

In a sweet photo that showed Eden dressed up in a Santa suit alongside Muldoon, Richards, and Santa Claus, the I Dream of Jeannie star spoke about her personal experience working with Muldoon.

"So saddened to learn about the sudden passing of Patrick Muldoon who I costarred with in 2019's 'My Adventures with Santa.' Patrick was a sweet man who was very personable. I enjoyed the time we spent between takes and just enjoying each other's company in general during the production of the film. He made the experience even more fun.

Eden has experienced several losses recently. Last year, she spoke about how difficult it is to navigate life after the loss of her dear friend, Loni Anderson.

“I feel very lonely now that she’s not here,” Eden recently told Fox News Digital. “I miss her – I really miss her. I miss everything about Loni. She was just a very special, kind, sweet, good mother. You can’t say anything bad about her.”

Written by best-selling writer Hilary Mantel, Wolf Hall forms the first part of Mantel's Cromwell trilogy, a fictionalized exploration of 16th century English minister Thomas Cromwell.

In Mantel's first book, the opportunistic Cromwell enters into the court of King Henry VIII, using the king's ongoing attempts to divorce the first of his six wives to become a key political influence in his rule.

Next, 1977 Soft Rock Classic No. 1 Hit Became a Timeless Heartbreak Anthem

Gayle King spoke out about the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Savannah's mom. Nancy Guthrie, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1.

On Saturday, April 18, King attended the Breakthrough Prize event in Los Angeles where she chatted with Us Weekly. When King was asked about Savannah returning to Today after two months away, King didn't hesitate to show her support.

"Listen, we’re just glad Savannah’s back, but of course, our hearts are still aching and still breaking. There are no words to describe what she’s going through," King told the outlet.

"I'm still hoping that somebody will do the right thing," King continued. "Somebody, somebody out there knows something, and it’s shocking to me after seeing Savannah open up her heart, after looking at the video that we all saw, and after the million [dollar] reward that there has not been some resolution in this case."

"I am just here wishing her well and cheering. I’m glad that she’s back," King added.

In early February, just after Nancy was reported missing, King got teary-eyed on CBS Mornings while sharing an update on the case.

"We’re starting things a little differently this morning because like you, we’re all waking up this morning with very heavy hearts—praying for our friend and our colleague, Savannah Guthrie," King, 71, said at the time. "Her mom Nancy is still missing at this hour and late last night, the Guthrie family went public with a very emotional message."

King became visibly emotional as the network played Savannah's recent Instagram video during the segment.

Many are hoping for a break in the case after the FBI received DNA evidence that was collected from Nancy's home and spent the past several weeks at a lab in Florida.

With the terrifying films 28 Years Later and its sequel Bone Temple released in the last year, it seems the zombie genre is still alive and well.

One of the classics from the same realm, meanwhile, just celebrated a 47-year milestone. From O.G. zombie filmmaker George A. Romero, Dawn of the Dead was released on August 19, 1979, and became a massive success after the equally groundbreaking Night of the Living Dead (1968).

The 1979 follow-up was filmed in color this time around and took place inside a shopping mall, providing impactful social commentary about consumerism in America.

The late, great film critic Roger Ebert gave the film a whopping four out of four stars in his 1979 review, writing, "'Dawn of the Dead' is one of the best horror films ever made — and, as an inescapable result, one of the most horrifying. It is gruesome, sickening, disgusting, violent, brutal and appalling. It is also (excuse me for a second while I find my other list) brilliantly crafted, funny, droll, and savagely merciless in its satiric view of the American consumer society. Nobody ever said art had to be in good taste."

The media website Thrillist, meanwhile, ranked Dawn of the Dead No. 33 on its list of 75 Best Horror Movies of All Time, writing, "Zombie master George A. Romero could have taken the easy way out and staged another siege just like the one in Night of the Living Dead, but it's safe to say that he expanded his horizons in a huge way."

Dawn of the Dead was so impactful that it spawned a remake in 2004, which was also critically acclaimed and would help launch the career of Zack Snyder. If the name sounds familiar, he's the visionary filmmaker who went on to direct high-profile genre films such as 300 and Man of Steel.

Elvis Presley's ex-girlfriend is reflecting on her extraordinary experiences living with the King of Rock and Roll.

Linda Thompson took to Instagram to share rare, "memories" of living at Graceland. One of the many perks was the ability to fly anywhere on Presley's private plane.

A 1958 Convair 880 was outfitted especially to the the singer's tastes. It was a practical way for him to travel without having to fly commercial.

The aircraft, named the Lisa Marie, was a mini-Graceland, outfitted with the latest technology of the mid 1970s and all of the bells and whistles one would expect Presley would want on his private plane.

Thompson shared an image of the plane's interior, along with her description of life on the road with the King of Rock and Roll. She offered a glimpse into the glamour and whirlwind pace of touring in the mid-'70s.

"I flew on the Lisa Marie airplane more than 150 times with Elvis and his entourage! From all of his tours…to Las Vegas…to Denver for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich," she explained.

"I also went with him to Dallas, Texas to check on the progress and to help pick out the interiors when the plane was being retrofitted and customized for him. I have a lot of memories on this plane! It felt in many ways, like our home away from home during those touring years," Thompson concluded.

The plane was purchased on April 17, 1975 by Presley for around $250K. He then outfitted it to his specific tastes, adding $800K to the overall total cost. Once the renovations were complete, Presley christened the new aircraft the Lisa Marie, named after his only daughter with Priscilla Presley.

Graceland’s official Instagram also posted video clips showcasing the plane’s interior in honor of the anniversary of the day Elvis Presley purchased it. A corresponding caption called it "a time capsule of the 1970s, offering fans a glimpse into Elvis’ life on the road."

The entertainer also purchased a smaller plane, called The Hound Dog II, a 1960 Lockheed JetStar. Both planes are on display across from Graceland and are available to tour.

D4vd has been charged following his arrest on Thursday, Apr. 16 for the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

At a press conference on Monday, Apr. 20, Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced that the singer, whose legal name is David Burke, will face a first-degree murder charge.

The murder charge includes special circumstances—lying in wait, committing crime for financial gain and murdering the witness in an investigation—that could carry the death penalty. However, prosecutors haven’t announced if they will seek it.

Burke will also face charges for lewd acts with a child and for allegedly dismembering Hernandez's body.

On Sept. 8, 2025, Los Angeles police officers were called to a tow yard following reports of a foul odor coming from a Tesla on the property. In the trunk of the vehicle, police found a severely decomposed body placed inside of a bag which was later determined to be 14-year-old Hernandez.

The car was registered to Burke and impounded after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills area, where neighbors complained of a rotting smell. The case has been treated as a death investigation since Sept. 9.

Hochman called the case “a parent’s nightmare” on Monday and said Hernandez was last heard from on Apr. 23, 2025. Her cause of death has not been determined.

“Celeste, a 14-year-old at that time, went to Mr. Burke’s house in the Hollywood Hills. She was never heard from again,” Hochman said at the press conference.

In September, a spokesman for the singer said that he was “fully cooperating with authorities.” However, in November, NBC Los Angeles reported that Burke was no longer cooperating with law enforcement.

Burke is best known for his collaborations with musicians Kali Uchis, Laufey, and 21 Savage. He also created an anthem for the video game “Fortnite.”

Burke was on tour promoting his debut album Withered when Hernandez’s body was found, which was canceled amid the investigation.

On Friday, Apr. 17, Burke’s attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski, and Regina Peter said in a statement to People, “Let us be clear—the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death.”

“There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed,” the statement added. “David has only been detained under suspicion. We will vigorously defend David’s innocence.”
