While there are plenty of exceptions, the average rock song has one big guitar solo...or two at the most. But then again, the typical rocker isn't more than a few minutes long. The longer the song, the more time there is for guitar solos.

Take, for example, Pink Floyd's "Dogs," which clocks in at over 17 minutes long. Released on the 1977 album Animals, "Dogs" features a total of four iconic David Gilmour solos, one of which is apparently the guitarist's favorite of all time.

“There's a solo on ‘Dogs’ that I thought was pretty good and unusual,” he once explained when asked which of his performances he likes the best, per Guitar Player.

“It hasn't entered the pantheon of the ones people seem to like because it's a slightly different style for me, I suppose,” Gilmour continued. “I tracked it with an old Tele, and I was really thrilled with it."

Unfortunately, Gilmour didn't specify which of the four solos he was talking about, but they're all pretty epic.

"My style is my style, and it was created out of an amalgamation of the folk and blues music I started with,” Gilmour said, “as well as my early years in Pink Floyd when I was attempting to be a psychedelic-type guitar player. That being said, I think I always come back to certain elements of blues phraseology. The blues run pretty deep in my playing.”

As Gilmour revealed in a 2025 interview with Rick Beato, his original second guitar solo on "Dogs" was actually erased by accident, thanks to Roger Waters and Nick Mason.

“We had the whole first half of the song,” Gilmour said. “Then we had a middle breakdown, which became all that weird stuff, and that was filled with white two-inch leader tape."

“There was something on the first half that we wanted to erase,” Gilmour explains. “Roger and Nick put it into 'erase,’ and then forgot that it was in 'erase,’ and went right through the leader tape by two minutes, and then took away my second guitar solo. Completely erased, gone forever. Done."

Gilmour was forced to recreate the solo using rough mixes, but wasn't completely happy with the results.

“You never quite feel 100 percent satisfied,” he admitted. “Although every note has been learned and rehearsed and played, you think, Oh, there's something about the feel that had before that is gone forever.”

One thing's for sure: Not every band can get away with packing that many solos in a song that lasts for nearly 20 minutes, but Pink Floyd made it an art form.

It was the crash heard around the boat when, for the first time in Below Deck Mediterranean history, Captain Sandy Yawn hit the dock.

Captain Sandy repeatedly asked Bosun Nathan Gallagher for directions over the radio, but his instructions were muffled, causing Akira One to collide with the dock. Struggling to hear him, she said over the radio, "You're not clear."

She tried to get clarification, asking, "Do you need me to go astern or hold it here?" Nathan told her to hold position, but by then the collision had already occurred.

"I don't want to hit the dock again," she said.

Convinced he was about to be fired before the season even began, Nathan knew the mistake rested squarely on his shoulders. "And I can't provide for my family and my family is out here. I feel like my f—king heart is beating out of my chest."

Deckhand Cooper Dawson tried to reassure Nathan, pointing out that Captain Sandy may not have been able to hear clearly because of the party happening onshore.

"I cannot believe what just happened," Captain Sandy says in a confessional. "If there's structural damage, our charter season's over before it got started."

She later tells Nathan, "It's my first time in my life I ever hit anything." Examining the dock, she adds, "Right there... we damaged it. I don't believe it."

Nathan apologizes, telling Captain Sandy he doesn't "know what happened. I feel like crying." At that point, Captain Sandy shifts into leadership mode, calming him down and asking him to inspect the damage.

Of course, deckhand Joe Bradley — who is already at odds with Nathan — believes the accident never would have happened if he had been making the calls. According to Joe, he understands that you need to be loud enough to rise above any background noise.

"Obviously, this sucks but I think because I've been through so much in my life that it does take a lot to rattle me," Captain Sandy says in a confessional. "If something happens, you know how some people get excited and 'Oh my God!' I've always gone quiet. I wanna find my way out so the only way to do that is to be calm, clear-headed and strategic."

Thankfully, Akira One remains seaworthy, with only cosmetic damage that can be easily repaired. Nathan is relieved, but the incident could be an early sign that more drama lies ahead this season.

If there's one thing rock history has shown to be true, it's that just because a song doesn't climb the charts the first time people hear it certainly doesn't mean it won't be a major hit later on. A perfect example? The iconic rock anthem "Not Fade Away."

Originally written and recorded by Buddy Holly in 1957, "Not Fade Away" was one of the first rock songs to showcase that signature Bo Diddley beat, blending rockabilly, blues and pop to create a sound that would prove incredibly influential in the years to come. But the original version, released by Holly's band the Crickets, never actually charted as a single.

That was far from the end of the story for "Not Fade Away," however...because a few years later, the Rolling Stones got ahold of the tune.

While Mick Jagger and his bandmates of course had a tremendously successful career ahead of them, in 1964, the Stones hadn't really made their mark. That changed when they released a cover of “Not Fade Away” as their third single in the U.K., where it peaked at #3 on the charts. The track wasn't quite as popular in the U.S., but it did land the Stones on the Billboard charts for the first time, reaching #48.

A performance of "Not Fade Away" on TheMike Douglas Show helped to boost the band's profile in the U.S., per Rolling Stone, and by the next year, the Stones hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction."

Yet another legendary rock band would end up successfully covering "Not Fade Away" — hundreds of times, no less. The Grateful Dead started playing their own version of the song during concerts in 1969, going on to include it on their eponymous live album a couple of years later in 1971. "Not Fade Away" even became a signature tune for the Dead: They played the song 566 times before Jerry Garcia's death in 1995, per Rolling Stone.

Even if the Stones and the Dead technically had more success with "Not Fade Away," it's worth noting that Holly's original version was ranked at #107 on Rolling Stone's list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time."

Even if your parent is a famous rockstar, they're still your parent, and you're going to find them cringe-worthy at times — something that actress Eve Hewson admitted to when discussing her father.

During an interview with TODAY's Savannah Guthrie, the Behind Her Eyes star revealed that her dad, U2 frontmanBono, left her less than impressed during a dinner with a celebrity guest.

The famous father and daughter duo were dining with Emily Blunt, who is co-starring alongside Hewson in the upcomingSteven Spielbergsci-fi movie Disclosure Day.

"Your father is Bono, and I heard that he was trying to chat 'alien language' with Emily Blunt," Guthrie said.

"Ah, he's such an embarrassing dad," Hewson replied. She explained that as soon as Blunt had arrived at the meal, Bono began mimicking the Jungle Cruise actress' portrayal of her Disclosure Day character.

"We had Emily over for dinner, and the minute she walked in, he started doing the alien language she does in the trailer, and I was like, 'Please stop, like, please.'"

"He's so cringe," Guthrie joked.

Hewson previously referred to the "With Or Without You"  hitmaker as the "Kris Jennerof dads," comparing him to a stage dad. Jenner, known as a "momager," is the business manager of her famous children.

"He texts me reviews on things, he's very involved," Hewson said.

Disclosure Day, released on June 12 in the U.S., follows a cybersecurity expert and a local TV meteorologist who race against the clock to leak decades of classified government data, exposing years of hidden proof of extraterrestrial life.

On June 4, the much-anticipated film held its London premiere, where director Spielberg praised Hewson's talents.

"She’s wonderful. I had previously worked with Eve Hewson on Bridge of Spies; she played Tom Hanks’ daughter," Spielberg toldRTÉ Entertainment. "But I thought of her because I was a big fan of Bad Sisters. I thought she did extraordinary work in that. So, she got the part pretty quickly."

Dr Pepper is bringing back a fan-favorite offering, by popular demand, but only at Sheetz.

On June 3, Sheetz confirmed via social media the return of Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce just in time for the summer months.

"The comeback you've been craving," the chain teased on Instagram. Convenience Store News also reported the news on June 8.

"By discontinuing this sauce, not only has Sheetz removed a popular product, but it has also narrowed the choices for loyal customers like me who depended on this sauce for that extra zing in our meals."

They added, "We are confident that the return of the sauce will not only please us but also attract others who have yet to experience the unmatched combination of flavors that the Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce offers... bring back the Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce at Sheetz!"

In the comments of Sheetz's Facebook post announcing the return of Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce, fans rejoiced over the news.

The music world is mourning the loss of a true innovator.

James "Blood" Ulmer, the pioneering guitarist, singer and composer whose boundary-pushing work helped redefine jazz, blues and funk, has died at the age of 86. The news was reported by NPRon June 8.

Born Willie James Ulmer in St. Matthews, South Carolina, in 1940, Ulmer built one of the most distinctive careers in modern music. His jagged guitar style, soulful vocals and willingness to ignore traditional genre boundaries made him a singular figure in American music.

After spending the early years of his career performing in soul-jazz and funk groups, Ulmer moved to New York in 1971, where his artistic trajectory changed dramatically. There he began working with some of the most adventurous musicians of the era, including drummer Art Blakey, saxophonist Joe Henderson and, most importantly, jazz visionary Ornette Coleman.

"I was living on Sixth Street and Third Avenue in New York," recalled Ulmer in an interview with Post Genre. "One day, I was looking out the window and saw Coleman walking from the Lower East Side back down to Soho. I called out to him and he came by our house. He knew the house because of the woman he was married to [Jayne Cortez] and introduced me to her. So, Coleman came in and saw that we were rehearsing my band of six people. He must have thought it was a good thing because I ultimately ended up living with Ornette for a year."

Ulmer became the first electric guitarist to record and tour extensively with Coleman, embracing the saxophonist's revolutionary "harmolodic" approach to music. The collaboration helped shape Ulmer's signature sound, which blended free jazz improvisation, blues, funk and rock into something entirely his own.

"When you're working with someone close, like the way me and Coleman was, the thought is never what you're doing for each other," Ulmer told Furious. "The thought is what what you're doing for what you're trying to do. Coleman always worked on something specifically and tried to take it to the highest level there is. So when you get through doing that, you ain't got time to be thinking about influencing somebody. You're trying to finish that piece of work."

During the 1970s and 1980s, Ulmer emerged as one of the most respected figures in the avant-garde music world. Albums such as Are You Glad to Be in America?, Free Lancing and Black Rock showcased a fearless musician who refused to be confined by expectations.

Though he never achieved mainstream commercial success, Ulmer became a towering influence on generations of guitarists and experimental musicians. Critics frequently praised his ability to merge seemingly incompatible styles into a coherent musical vision. His work drew from the traditions of blues and jazz while simultaneously pushing both genres into new territory.

Throughout his career, Ulmer remained remarkably prolific. Whether performing with his celebrated Odyssey Band, recording adventurous studio albums or touring internationally, he continued exploring new ideas well into his later years. Songs such as "Are You Glad to Be in America?" and "Jazz Is the Teacher" became staples of his live performances and fan favorites.

Beyond his technical skill, Ulmer earned admiration for his uncompromising artistic vision. At a time when many musicians sought commercial acceptance, he remained committed to creative exploration and musical freedom. His influence can be heard across jazz, blues, funk and experimental rock, making him one of the most important yet often under-appreciated musicians of his generation.

James "Blood" Ulmer leaves behind a remarkable legacy built on innovation, individuality and a lifelong commitment to pushing music forward.

Of all the supergroups in rock history, it's safe to say that the Traveling Wilburys weren't simply one of the most successful, but one of the most beloved (if not the most beloved).

It makes sense, of course. All the members of the group were already incredibly popular on their own: George Harrison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne and Roy Orbison (who tragically died just a couple of months after the release of the band's 1988 masterpiece, The Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1).

But the Traveling Wilburys, as a band, were even greater than the sum of their parts — that's why they were ranked the "Greatest Rock Supergroup of All Time" by Collider in 2025 — and for proof, one needn't look any further than the last track on Vol. 1, "End of the Line."

Written primarily by Harrison but credited to everyone in the band, "End of the Line" features the former Beatle, Lynne, Orbison and Petty taking turns on lead vocals and Dylan singing backups. The driving melody and hopeful lyrics make the song a perfect soundtrack to any type of journey, even all these years later:

Well, it's all right even when push comes to shove
Well, it's all right if you got someone to love
Well, it's all right, everything'll work out fine
Well, it's all right, we're going to the end of the line

Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive (at the end of the line)

In his 1988 review of the album, David Wild of Rolling Stone described "End of the Line" as "a movingly upbeat ride-off-into-the-sunset song for these middle-aged rock & roll cowboys: Maybe somewhere down the road a ways/You’ll think of me and wonder where I am these days/Maybe down the road when somebody plays/’Purple Haze.'"

The song took on even more meaning after Orbison's sudden death from a heart attack, which happened before the band had a chance to film a music video for "End of the Line." When they finally made the now-iconic video, which takes place on a train, the remaining Wilburys honored their late friend and bandmate by showing a rocking chair with a guitar in it as Orbison's vocals played.

On June 6, Gilmore Girls alum Alexis Bledel made a rare public appearance, attending the Tribeca Film Festival to promote her first film in seven years, Ponderosa.

The former Rory Gilmore looked radiant in a yellow satin top with a collar cutout and a knee-length black skirt. She carried a small black sparkling clutch and wore her brown hair in loose waves. She wore black peep-toe heels to set off the look.

Inside Alexis Bledel’s Genre-Defying New Film

Ponderosa refuses to fit neatly into a specific genre, instead being listed as a mix of comedy, drama, horror, mystery, and other categories. Bledel, 44, plays Sandra, who works at a buffet restaurant and is mom to Zeke (Jack Dylan Grazer). "When the buffet where Zeke's mom works closes down, he's forced to entertain the wild advances of a rich regular who is weirdly and vehemently obsessed with becoming his father," the film's synopsis reads.

Tracing the Star's Recent Surprise Onscreen Appearances

While Bledel stays out of the spotlight, she did appear onscreen twice in 2025. Gilmore Girls fans were ecstatic when she and onscreen mom Lauren Graham reunited at the 2025 Emmy Awards. Everyone's favorite highly caffeinated, fast-talking mother-daughter duo took the opportunity to poke fun at the show.

"25 years ago, Gilmore Girls premiered, and took the season of fall hostage," Graham told the audience. "In spite of our autumnal dominance, Gilmore [Girls] was actually a pretty small show," Bledel said. "Meaning we had no money," Graham quipped.

They continued joking, with Bledel claiming they were "bullied and starving," but at least they had "great scripts."

She also appeared in the season finale of The Handmaid's Tale after leaving in Season 4. Her abrupt departure coincided with her divorce, but many were still surprised by her absence.

"[Bledel] made that decision completely on her own; it was a complicated time and she let me know," Showrunner Bruce Miller told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. "What I tried to do was deal with it in the way we were all feeling at that point. Like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ So I think that, in some ways, the real emotions wag the dog."

Regardless of how much confidence you have on a regular basis, you’re probably familiar with how much the state of mind can come in handy. It boosts mental health and helps us feel more positive about ourselves. It can help us come across as more capable and intelligent in job interviews. It can be attractive to another person on a date (and, let’s be honest, help us survive that first date).

What Does It Mean to Effortlessly Exude Confidence?

Many people misunderstand what confidence means or looks like, so let’s make sure we’re on the same page.

“Effortless confidence isn’t about being the loudest, boldest or most charismatic person in the room,” says Dr. Crystal Saidi, PsyD, a licensed psychologist with Thriveworks in Irvine, CA. “It’s about internal security that doesn’t need constant external validation.”

That can look like being grounded in who you are (even when others disagree), not overexplaining or overapologizing and trusting your presence is enough without feeling the need to convince anyone.

7 Phrases That Show Effortless Confidence, According to a Psychologist

If you want to check your self-esteem level or be more confident, consider the following seven phrases that exude it.

1. “I appreciate your perspective” 

A confident person can acknowledge when another person has valuable points, knowing it doesn’t make their own less valid.

“This acknowledges others without abandoning your own ideas or stance,” Dr. Saidi says. “It shows emotional maturity.”

2. “That doesn’t work for me”

It’s OK to say no sometimes, and confident people typically know that.

“Clear and respectful boundary-setting is shown here,” Dr. Saidi shares of the phrase. “No over-explaining or guilt needed.”

3. “Let me think about that” 

People who “exude confidence effortlessly” often know they don’t need to answer a question impulsively or always say yes.

“This shows you are not in a rush to please,” Dr. Saidi states. “You are giving yourself space, which signals control.”

4. “I’ve changed my mind”

It’s OK to change your mind; you don’t need to feel bad about it.

“True confidence allows for growth,” Dr. Saidi notes. “You are not attached to being right, but rather committed to what aligns for you.”

This isn’t selfish; it’s self-care.

5. “No” 

As difficult as it may be to remember, this word is a complete sentence. It’s also “one of the strongest signs of self-trust and confidence,” according to Dr. Saidi.

“No justification or softening needed, just clarity,” she explains.

6. “I’m proud of that”

You can be confident without being arrogant, and this self-validating phrase shows how.

“It shows that you don’t need others to recognize your self-worth,” Dr. Saidi says.

7. “I hear you” 

Like the first phrase, this one shows how acknowledging others can actually be a sign of self-confidence.

She encourages the following practices:

• Reduce instances of overexplaining and over-apologizing 
• Keep small promises to yourself

If that’s not enough, or you want extra support, consider talking to a licensed counselor. According to Dr. Saidi, “Therapy can help with this by identifying the origin of your self-doubt, rewiring unhelpful or negative thought patterns and strengthening emotional regulation."

As anticipation builds for Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden, international singer and political performer Mary Millben has publicly endorsed Grammy-nominated singer and Broadway actor Avery Wilson, who is set to perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” before tipoff.

Millben shared the announcement on X, encouraging fans and basketball supporters to rally behind Wilson ahead of one of the biggest games of the season.

“Sing us to victory, my brother AveryWilson!” Millben wrote. “We are cheering on Grammy-nominated singer and Broadway actor Avery Wilson, the New York Knicks good-luck charm at Madison Square Garden (MSG), as he performs the national anthem for Game 3 of the NBA Finals tonight!! Wilson’s appearance continues a growing trend of notable music stars taking center stage during the NBA Finals. Earlier in the series, singer and actress Tori Kelly performed the national anthem before Game 1, while rising soul and jazz artist KELS handled anthem duties for Game 2.

Game 3 is scheduled to take place at Madison Square Garden, with the New York Knicks holding a 2-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the championship series.

Wilson has become a familiar face for Knicks fans throughout the postseason.

Since the opening round of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Atlanta Hawks, Wilson has regularly performed the national anthem before Knicks home games at Madison Square Garden. During that stretch, New York has enjoyed remarkable success on its home court.

The singer has performed the anthem six times during the Knicks’ playoff run. Notably, the only home playoff loss New York has suffered came in a game Wilson was unable to attend, fueling fan speculation that he has become a good-luck charm for the franchise.

The timing of Wilson’s return for Game 3 adds another layer of excitement as the Knicks seek to move one step closer to their first NBA championship since 1973.

The challenge facing San Antonio is significant. The Knicks won the first two games of the Finals on the road and now return to Madison Square Garden, where they posted one of the NBA’s strongest home records during the regular season. Who Is Avery Wilson?

Wilson, 30, first gained national attention as a contestant on Season 3 ofThe Voicewhen he was just 16 years old. A member of Team CeeLo Green, he quickly became a fan favorite thanks to his powerful vocals and stage presence.

Although his elimination from the competition was widely considered a surprise, the exposure helped launch his professional music career. He later signed with RCA Records and continued releasing original music.

One of his best-known singles, “If I Have To,” reached the top 20 of Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart in 2015.

The Valley star Lala Kent revealed that a part of her schedule as a Bravo personality conflicts with an upcoming milestone in her eldest daughter, Ocean's life.

While recording the June 8 episode of her podcast, Untraditionally Lala, alongside her brother, Easton Burningham, Kent shared that she's unable to attend Ocean's Transitional Kindergarten (TK) graduation because it coincides with The Valley's season 3 reunion.

"I just learned that Ocean's T-K graduation is on the exact same day that we film the reunion," said the former Vanderpump Rules star, who shares Ocean, 5, with her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett.

She then tearfully shared that she knows Ocean and her classmates are planning on singing a song about how "they started out as caterpillars, and now they are butterflies, like ready to fly away." Kent, who also has a 21-month-old daughter named Sosa, explained that she had an emotional response to the song because she feels as though Ocean's childhood is "just flying by so quickly."

In addition, she said that she is upset to miss this "really monumental moment" for work, especially because she has "had to miss out on things because of sharing [Ocean] with someone else."

Burningham assured Kent that he and their mother, Lisa Burningham, will be present and film at the T-K graduation. He also comforted his sister by telling her that she will be there for Ocean for so many of her future events.

The podcast clip was uploaded on the official Untraditionally Lala Instagram account. Several fans took to the post's comments section to share words of support and empathy for Kent.

"I’m so sorry. Mom guilt is so real and deep. You’re doing a great job. Your kids will know you love them. Just keep showing up for them and I promise, they’ll know. And it takes a village. If there’s someone else that she wants to invite, let her! They just want someone there," wrote a commenter.

There was a report that Savannah Guthrie had hired private investigators—and I think the report said, like, spent $500,000 on private investigators," he acknowledged. "Which I was always very skeptical of. And I actually said on my show once before that I just had a hard time believing that because of the sources that I have. I think I would have heard that by now."

Entin added, "But the report kind of went everywhere. I saw a lot of people talking about it. And I have now confirmed that that is not true."

He then reiterated, "So that report, I am told, is not true. Savannah Guthrie did not spend $500,000 on private investigators. It is just the Pima County Sheriff's Office and the FBI that are investigating this case right now."

Additionally, Entin addressed Savannah's hopeful social media update over the weekend.

"I mean, again, sometimes I get so wrapped up in the investigation and start tracing down all these little leads and bits and pieces of information that I find. Sometimes I also like to have a moment to remember that, you know, there's a family hurting right now."

Nancy, 84, has been missing since Feb. 1, after her family last saw her on the evening of Jan. 31. As of writing, no suspect has been named in the case despite the investigation dragging on for over four months.

Over on Billboard’s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales, the glam rock staple climbed from the eighth position to No. 5 for the week of June 6. Debuting at No. 13 and peaking at No. 2 in 2023, the song has proven a valiant favorite with staying power lasting 42 weeks. The three-tick jump this week is remarkable considering the track was released during the Nixon administration, yet it still somehow finds a way to show out on the chart around summertime.

Released in April 1972 as a single before arriving in June on School’s Out, the track sprouted from a simple question: What are the greatest three minutes of your life? According to Songfacts, Cooper chose Christmas morning and the last day of school as the only suitable answers. Citing The Who’s “My Generation” as musical inspo, he and his band got to work composing what would become their signature hit and a timeless teenage anthem.

"When we did 'School's Out,' I knew we had just done the national anthem,” he toldEsquire in 2008. “I've become the Francis Scott Key of the last day of school.”

Written by Cooper with his guitarist Michael Bruce, “School’s Out” peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, spending 13 weeks on the chart. In the U.K., however, it shot straight to the top, where it stayed for three weeks. The album, meanwhile, hit No. 1 in Canada and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. It’s the artist’s best-performing song behind 1989’s “Poison,” which also peaked at No. 7, but spent 19 weeks charting.

Since its release, filmmakers have had a field day injecting the anthem into their movies. From Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979) and Dazed and Confused (1993), to Scream (1996) and I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009), the track has been the go-to for coming-of-age flicks and bildungsroman tales. Cooper even credits cinema with the title and concept of the song, reportedly sharing that a line from the The Bowery Boys film series from the ’40s and ’50s — “Hey Sach, school’s out,” expressed as slang for, “Wise up” — was the foundation for the classic hit.

"School's Out" is by far Cooper's most popular song from the '70s and a concert staple. A commercial and critical milestone, the track marked the glam rockers’ shift from cult shock to mainstream provocateurs. While the world continues to mourn the loss of NASCAR legend Kyle Busch, Wheel of Fortune fans are fondly remembering his recent appearance on the show.

Just three months prior to his unexpected death at the age of 41 on May 21, Busch appeared on the beloved game show during its NASCAR week in February. Along with fellow racers Joey Logano and Christoper Bell, Busch was teamed up with a contestant on the show in the hopes of helping them win big.

In the wake of his death, fans are now looking back at footage of Busch's appearance in the wake of his death, remembering the joy he brought to the WOF set and to all the viewers watching at home.

One user on Reddit shared a clip from the Feb. 13 episode with Busch after his death last month, where tons of other fans online flocked to the comments to express their condolences and reminisce on Busch's warm and cheerful presence.

"Wow, just nice to see that video again, RIP Kyle, Rowdy, Busch," one user wrote.

Another user added, "R.I.P. I saw this show. I'm not a big fan of racing but glad I saw this."

Even the contestant who was paired with Busch for the game, a man by the name of Ray Kase, chimed in on the post to share his experience of having Busch as a teammate.

Kase revealed that as Busch was leaving the set, he gifted him a collectible car replica, as well as a hat and a signed photo.

"I also got to keep the shirt that he gave me," he wrote, while adding, "Thanks to Wheel for having me on the show and allowing me to meet Kyle."

Busch died just a few months after the episode aired due to pneumonia that progressed into sepsis, "resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications," according to the statement released by his family.

Busch is survived by his brother Kurt Busch, his wife Samantha and their two young kids, son Brexton and daughter Lennix.

Following the news of his death, the official Wheel of FortuneInstagram account shared a tribute to Busch that read, "Ryan [Seacrest], Vanna [White], and the entire Wheel family is saddened to hear of the passing of Kyle Busch. We were grateful for the chance to spend time with him during NASCAR Week this year and to witness the kindness and energy he brought to everyone around him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and the entire racing community."

A ‘90s cult classic movie is making a comeback! 20th Century Studios just revealed that a sequel to Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion is officially in production. And while there’s no release date as of now, here’s what we do know. 

The 1997 film’s dynamic duo, Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow, are reprising their iconic roles in the sequel. News of the next chapter for the quirky, fun-loving BFFs broke last year, with industry insiders announcing that a deal was in the works. And then… silence. That is, until now.

On Monday, 20th Century Studios posted a pic of two blondes holding hands (on Instagram) while sitting in ‘Romy and Michele 2’ director's chairs. Presumably, we’re looking at Sorvino and Kudrow on set. The production company also tagged both actresses, Disney+, and Hulu.

Unlike the original, the sequel won’t get a theatrical release. Instead, as the Instagram post implies, fans can catch the film’s follow-up on the small screen. Viewers can watch Romy and Michele 2 exclusively on Hulu. Bundle subscribers can also watch the made- for-Hulu original on Disney+.

Sorvino teased the upcoming film last October, saying in an interview, “We had so much fun. I love Lisa. We’re dear friends to this day. We’re very much looking forward to doing the sequel.”

As it turns out, the initial success of the 1997 hit was somewhat of a surprise to Romy and Michele’s writer and co-executive producer, Robin Schiff. Schiff opened up to Vanity Fairin 2017 about the amazing reception Romy and Michele got when they made their first onscreen appearance: “I’m standing in the theater going, why? I’m still fascinated what made them applaud just by seeing them.” 

Get ready for just as many laughs from the sequel. Schiff returns as the writer. While David Mirkin directed the original, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’Tim Federle will helm the sequel. 

Rock fans may instantly recognize one of the Rolling Stones' earliest breakthrough hits. Before becoming a rock staple, the song was first recorded by a jazz trombonist whose version failed to make the charts.

"Time Is on My Side" was released in 1963 as a rhythm and blues track originally written by Jerry Ragavoy. It's his most famous penned song, among hits like "Get Happy" and Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart." That year, it was first released and recorded by Kai Winding, a Danish-American jazz trombonist, with singers Dee Dee Warwick, Dionne Warwick, and Cissy Houston.

The original version of the song had moderate success but failed to chart. It was later covered by R&B singer Irma Thomas, with Jimmy Norman writing new lyrics about an ex-lover.

"Time Is on My Side" became a notable hit a year after the track's initial release when it was taken up by the Rolling Stones in 1964. According to American Songwriter, Ragavoy received a call about a British band that he had never heard of wanting to record the track. He agreed, hoping it would bring new life to the song.

"Next thing I know,” he said, "it’s out and it’s their first hit in this country. I was amazed. I listened to it and thought, ‘What on earth is this?'"

The Rolling Stones released two different versions of the track, with the first using an organ-only intro and guitars instead of horns to create a rock anthem. Their version of "Time Is on My Side" peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, their first to do so on that U.S. chart, and landed at No.6 on Cash Box. The song became a radio staple and was then re-released with a new arrangement.

Their second version is what most rock fans have come to love, which received the most airplay from radio stations. It's often included in the band's "best of" compilation albums and tagged as having been a staple during the British Invasion.

“In America,” said Keith Richards, “we were basically known for heavy, slowish kind of ballads. ‘Time Is On My Side,’ ‘Tell Me,’ ‘Heart of Stone,’ that was what we were known for. Strangely enough, that was our thing. Every single was a slow song. Who would believe it? You’d think they’d be clamoring for out-and-out rock and roll, but no, it was the soul ballads that happened for us in America.” 

The song has since become a cover staple by artists like Michael Bolton, Blondie, Patti Smith, and even the Moody Blues. It was even been popualr in pop culture, being used in theDenzel Washington-led cult classic thriller film, Fallen, where the song becomes key to the overall plot.
