Former NFL star Cordarrelle Patterson, 35, was arrested in Tennessee on October 17 on a domestic assault charge after his wife told police he attacked her, according to an arrest warrant obtained by TMZ. The allegations have not been tested in court, and the report did not include a statement from Patterson.

The warrant says officers went to a Tennessee home that day after a report of a domestic disturbance. His wife told them the attack happened shortly before she called 911, and that Patterson grabbed her by the hair and her left upper arm. The responding officer wrote that he saw bruising on her left bicep consistent with her account. She also told police she feared for her own safety and for her children’s, the warrant states.

Police separated the couple while they investigated, and Patterson was taken into custody early Saturday morning. He was released from the Sevier County jail the same day on a $1,000 bond. The reporting did not say whether he has entered a plea, hired an attorney, or when he is due in court.

Patterson is a four-time Pro Bowl running back and kick returner who played for six NFL teams between 2013 and 2024. A first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings, he set an NFL record as a rookie in 2013 with a 109-yard kickoff return, the longest possible. He later played for the Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons and Pittsburgh Steelers, and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2019.

As with any arrest, the charge is an allegation, and Patterson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. The warrant’s account reflects only what police say they were told and observed, and Patterson’s side has not been reported. As Parade reported yesterday, Taylor Swift found herself in a bit of a confrontation with a fan while supporting her husband, Travis Kelce, at a recent Chiefs game. Now, celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman is weighing in on the incident…and what she has to say might make you wish Swift had more security guards.

In a TikTok video uploaded by @campthomas, Swift is watching the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Los Angeles Chargers from the VIP Suite when a woman starts taking photos or video of the star (despite being warned by a security guard). When Swift herself notices, she starts gesturing for the woman to turn around and watch the game.

It would be completely understandable for someone like Swift to be annoyed in a situation like this, but according to Honigman, “the interaction between Swift and the fan is good natured rather than antagonistic, even though the singer felt somewhat nervous.”

“When Taylor first spots the fan, her shoulders are raised and curled forwards,” Honigman continued in an analysis commissioned by Casino.org.

“This stance shows tension, and as her hands are gathered in front of her protectively, even anxiety,” Honigman continued. “The singer’s head is inclined forwards as she tries to keep her mind and eyes on the game, but her physical form reveals that she is anxious.”

As Honigman explained, Swift might have been concerned that the woman was a potential threat.

“She could be worried in case this is not a fan but an agitator, someone with bad intentions,” she said.

Despite her anxiety, Honigman said Swift didn’t seem to have any ill will towards the woman.

“When she’s seen gesticulating for the fan to focus on the game, her moves are not annoyed or they would have been shorter and quicker,” she said. “Rather, Taylor points towards the field using her full arm and hand, giving the fan a lot of attention, and then she faces forwards again, smiling.”

Swift seemed more relaxed after the fan acknowledged what she was saying, Honigman added.

“Her little grin is kind of flattered. It would appear that, once she’s made eye contact with the fan, she could see that it was no agitator and was just filming her with no ill intent. Swift still loves and appreciates her fans, even when they’re a little intrusive.”

Maybe one of these days Swift will actually get to watch her husband play football in peace.

Bob Iger, the former CEO of Disney, has announced that he’s releasing a new book. The read, titled “One Last Time: Managing Crisis and Building Resilience at Disney” will navigate the lessons Bob learned throughout his second tenure as the CEO of Disney, which he describes as being a time of “unprecedented challenge and change”, while also giving readers an exciting behind-the-scenes look at what it was like to be working at the company.

Bob served as the CEO of Disney for almost two decades, with his initial years at the company spanning from 2005 up until 2020. He then returned for four more years in 2022 before stepping down from the position this March.

Talking about the book in a statement, Bob shared: “This is a comeback story. It’s about what Disney needed to find its way back to its core values and what that journey taught me about leading in a time of unprecedented challenge and change.”

The synopsis further describes the book as navigating a “sometimes bumpy, never boring journey to reconnect a great company to its core values, while building a new, lasting foundation in a highly disruptive and rapidly changing world.”

The book is set to be released in the spring but Bob has authored other books if fans of Disney wish to get ahead with their reading before the next one comes hot off the press. In 2019 Bob published a memoir titled “The Ride of a Lifetime”, which recounted the lessons from his very first tenure as the CEO of Disney.

Robbie Whelan, a journalist at the Wall Street Journal, has also authored a book about Bob titled “The House of Mouse: Bob Iger and The War of Succession at Disney” which is due to come out this December. Happy reading all, and congratulations to Bob!

We’re six weeks into season 35 of Dancing with the Stars and already, there’s been so much drama among the cast, it’s hard to keep track of it all. The Dedication Night episode on Tuesday, October 20, is sure to be high on emotions as each celeb contestant honors — and even dances with, in some cases — one of the most important people in their lives.

But before diving into the lovefest of Dedication Night, here’s your quick guide to the latest drama happening behind the scenes surrounding pro Val Chmerkovskiy‘s suspension, and whether the rumors flying are true or not.

Will Val Chmerkovskiy Be in the Ballroom Tonight?

NO. Longtime DWTS pro Val Chmerkovskiy will be gone from the ballroom for one week, making him the first pro in 35 seasons to be suspended for any length of time. In a historic move for the show, BBC Studios announced on October 17 that the suspension was a consequence for an “inappropriate” social media post by Chmerkovskiy, aimed at judge Carrie Ann Inaba.

Chmerkovskiy, who’s been competing with actress Jenna Dewan, landed in hot water over his reaction to Inaba’s critique of a week five dance by wife, fellow pro Jenna Johnson, and actor Harry Shum Jr. After their samba, Inaba scolded Johnson for including a lift in her choreography, which surprised the dancer and many viewers. As online debates among fans got heated on social media about everything from whether the lift was legal to Inaba’s demeanor, Chmerkovskiy defended his wife with a since-deleted TikTok selfie, writing, “You almost saw Fresh Prince enter the ballroom last night.”

The remark referred to former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Will Smith, who took matters into his own hands after comedian Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith‘s bald head at the 2022 Oscars. Smith slapped Rock and yelled at the comedian, “Keep my wife’s name out ya f—–g mouth!”

In the second of two social media apologies, posted on October 17, Chmerkovskiy wrote, “In a moment where my instinct was to defend my wife, I made a poor decision to reference a meme to ‘keep my wife’s name’ out of the conversation, without stopping to think through what else that reference could imply, which was genuinely never my intention. Carrie Ann certainly didn’t deserve to get caught in the middle of my bad judgment, and I hate that she was.”

Chmerkovskiy also confirmed he will not be in the ballroom this week, but cheering on Dewan and Bersten while watching tonight’s episode. Inaba has not commented publicly since the decision about his suspension.

YES. Actress Jenna Dewan, who’s dedicating her next dance to her mom, is working this week with another fan-favorite pro, Alan Bersten, who was eliminated early in season 35 with partner Giada De Laurentiis. The temporary duo has posted peeks at their rehearsal, looking chummy, but Dewan has not specifically commented on all the drama.

Her fiancé, Steve Kazee, did weigh in on the situation, however. On October 18, he posted an Instagram photo of Dewan in his Stories and wrote, “Everytime I think I can’t love you more, your grace, your class, and your heart prove me wrong. “You got this baby! We got you.”

Did Pro Gleb Savchenko Really Insult Alan Bersten?

YES. Shortly after it was announced that Bersten would replace Val, pro Gleb Savchenko, who’s not competing on season 35, decided to enter the chat. He went on TikTok Live and said he didn’t “want to talk s–t about people,” but claimed Bersten is “not up to the level of dancing, like, period.”

Naturally, fans recorded and re-posted the live video so that it’s now circulated widely, showing Savchenko musing, “Alan, I think he’s Alan. I mean, he’s just not up to the level of dancing, like, period. Like, quality, technique — he’s a good dancer, I guess, for TV. But if we talk about art? Creating art? He’s like, eh.”

Savchenko said he doesn’t “have anything against the guy,” but continued to question, “Why Alan? Who else is there? Give like — what’s his name? Who’s on troupe? Remind me.” Several fans suggested Brandon Armstrong, who was eliminated early in the season with Ciara Miller.

Savchenko, who’s competed on 13 seasons of DWTS including season 34 with Hilaria Baldwin, is no stranger to drama. He went through a messy breakup with his season 33 partner, Brooks Nader, amid cheating allegations, and wasn’t invited back for season 35.

Did Alan Bersten’s Girlfriend, Pro Emma Slater, Clap Back at the Criticism?

YES, but gently. Pro Emma Slater, who’s competing on season 35 with Jackson Olson, didn’t wade too deep into the drama, but made sure people know she’s standing by her man. She dropped a quick comment on a TikTok video of a woman who sounded exasperated as she squealed, “Alan is gonna dance for Val? Alan?? He got eliminated!”

Slater swooped in and quipped, “Yeah, that’s what happens. We all step in for each other.” Her comment has been liked nearly 40,000 times.

Did Val Really Unfollow Carrie Ann, Alan & Emma on Social Media Amid All the Drama?

NOT LIKELY. This was a widely circulated rumor that’s made headlines, and while it’s true that Chmerkovskiy does not follow Inaba, Bersten or Slater on X (formerly Twitter), eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that he wasn’t following them in the first place. An unnamed source also told TMZ that the rumors are “bogus.”

Fans are obviously curious to see how DWTS broaches the situation on-air. Dedication Night on Dancing with the Stars airs live on ABC and Disney+ on October 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik is opening up about the tumultuous period surrounding creator Chuck Lorre’s highly publicized feud with Charlie Sheen, calling it a “very difficult” time on set for the hit CBS series.

During a recent episode of Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown podcast, Bialik and her cohost Jonathan Cohen asked about what it was like working on The Big Bang Theory during the intense fallout between Lorre and Sheen over the earlier CBS sitcom, Two and a Half Men.

“How did you feel about him saying that The Big Bang Theory was his safe place when there was so much craziness going on on Two and a Half Men?” Cohen started by saying.

“I remember those years,” Bialik answered. “It was very, very difficult for us to see him like that.”

“I know a lot of people are like, ‘Serves you right,’ like, ‘You’re a rich producer.'” But Bialik also explained “there’s a human” aspect to Lorre’s personality, something that made his feud with Sheen that much more hurtful.

“Like, he’s a guy from Long Island. He’s a musician who just wanted to play his guitar on stage and meet pretty girls, right?” Bialik said. “There’s a humanity to when the person that you are working with is, first of all, very sick, and not behaving kindly, and then publicly assaults you. That’s very, very powerful, and this was the beginning of social media.”

“Social media took this Charlie Sheen thing and ran with it in a way that, the deepest insults that he hurled were magnified,” she continued. If the situation had occurred in today’s industry, Bialik insisted “people would be like, ‘Yep, another day. Another actor cursing at a producer.'”

“Back then it was like, ‘What?’ And also Charlie Sheen, this is a legacy actor, meaning, his father’s Martin Sheen. His brother’s Emilio Estevez! Like, come on. It’s Hollywood royalty. It was huge,” she went on add.

Angie Harmon is celebrating the 23rd birthday of her lookalike daughter Finley Seahorn.

Harmon, 54, previously starred on Baywatch Nights and Law and Order and scored a strong fan base on TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles. The proud mom and animal lover, who is frequently seen tending to her pet squirrels on social media, was previously married to former football player Jason Seahorn. But it’s her lookalike daughter Finley who stopped us in our tracks in Harmon’s recent Instagram post. Boasting the same smile as her mother, Finley rang in her 23rd year looking quite a bit like her stunning mom.

Angie Harmon is Directing Again

While Harmon is best known as an actress, she’s also worked in the past as a director. Now, she’s putting her directing hat back on for a Lifetime movie starring Jaime Pressly. Titled The Girl Who Disappeared, the Hollywood Reporter just shared that the movie, which is part of the network’s popular “Ripped from the Headlines” series, will be Harmon’s second run at directing. (She previously helmed the 100th episode of her cable drama Rizzoli & Isles.)

According to THR, The Girl Who Disappeared is based on a true story, and follows a young woman whose romance with a married man sets off a dangerous chain of obsession, jealousy and betrayal.

“What begins as harassment quickly escalates into obsessive control and a dangerous fixation. After Heather suspects she may be pregnant, she is lured to a remote location and disappears without a trace,” the synopsis reads, the publication noted. “As investigators piece together the evidence surrounding her disappearance, a twisted love triangle is exposed, leading to a courageous revelation that helps bring the truth to light.”

Harmon Has Found Love Again

Things are going well in Harmon’s personal life, as well. On Valentine’s Day, she shared that she found love with an ex she first met 35 years ago!

“Happy Valentine’s Day Tony Floyd @studioavafilms …. 27 years later! I love you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” she captioned the sweet photo.

Everyone wrapped up warm in long-sleeved sweaters and jeans. But aside from the adorable mismatched outfits what really stood out was how much Winnie and Frances looked like their mother. The trio of ladies looked so alike with their blond hair and similar facial features!

Penned in the post’s caption, Jimmy thanked Hanks Pumpkin Town for the lovely day out and noted how going to pick pumpkins with his family is a special tradition that they share. The star wrote: “Thanks to Hanks Pumpkin Town it’s become a family tradition for us.”

Jimmy, ever the comic, then playfully added: “I’m the giant jack-o’-lantern in the middle.”

Fans couldn’t help but note how rare it was to see a snap where Jimmy is out with his family, and they flooded the post’s comments section pointing it out. One user said: “Wait… he has a life outside of The Tonight Show????”

Carrie Ann Inaba spoke out about the “pain” she takes on as a Dancing With the Stars judge—weeks before becoming embroiled in a “lift” scandal involving several celebrity dancers.

Less than a month before Inaba called out Jenna Johnson and Harry Shum Jr. for an illegal lift during their Season 35 Super Bowl Night samba, the veteran DWTS judge appeared on CBS LA, where she addressed the most common misconception people have of her.

“I think people think that I try to be mean on the show and that’s absolutely the furthest from the truth,” Inaba shared with news anchor Pat Harvey in September. “In fact, I am taking all the pain so that somebody can succeed. I’m willing to carry all the negativity that comes at me because I want somebody to do well.”

Inaba also noted that it is harder for her to hold back than to give criticism.

“Holding back is harder because I  don’t know how,” she admitted. “I have to give [criticism]. They deserve the criticism; they deserve the truth.”

On Oct. 13, Inaba’s criticism of Johnson’s samba choreography was not taken well. After she read the definition of a lift from a ballroom rulebook and told Johnson and Shum they needed more content in their dances,  the veteran judge was booed by the audience.

Johnson’s husband, Val Chmerkovskiy, was also not pleased. He posted and deleted a thinly veiled comment aimed at Inaba, which got him into hot water with production.

E! News reported that BBC Productions launched an investigation into Chmerkovskiy’s post, which read, “You almost saw the Fresh Prince enter the ballroom last night.” The comment was a reference to Will Smith slapping comedian Chris Rock during the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony and telling him to keep his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s name out of his mouth.

Chmerkovskiy has since publicly apologized but has been suspended from Dancing with the Stars for this week’s Dedication Night.

Season 35 has been especially difficult for the Dancing With the Stars judges, most notably Inaba, who has been repeatedly booed and attacked online when audience members don’t agree with her critiques.

Earlier this month, she took to Threads to address the sometimes-toxic DWTS “social media fandom.”  

“There is an interesting phenomenon where fans of some stars take offense to anything that isn’t what they want to hear or believe,” the Dancing With the Stars judge wrote. “There can be confusion that we are commenting about the person, as if it were a personal attack on the person they love. When in fact it is not.”

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays on ABC and Disney+.

The former child star, Erik Von Detten, is being sued for alleged fraud and elder abuse by a couple after being financially exploited by the actor and the company he works for.

TMZ reported the news after obtaining court documents of the lawsuit filed by 85-year-old Sheila Greenberg and 97-year-old Norman Greenberg. It details that the couple is filing the lawsuit against the Princess Diaries star and the company he works for, Rosland Capital.

They claim they have suffered $900,000 in damages while working with Detten and his company. Rosland Capital buys and sells precious metals, and the Greenbergs also claim the company takes advantage of senior citizens by trying to sell them on the stability of gold.

The Greenbergs reported that they reached out to the 44-year-old former actor when they saw him in a TV ad in 2020. Per the lawsuit, the couple was impressed with von Detten’s knowledge of the gold market and let him know they had $2 million for their retirement.

They struck a deal to purchase two orders for around $1 million worth of Lady Liberty gold coins. To their surprise, the Greenbergs never received the coins and claim they were instead sent for storage in some warehouse. Von Detten later made another purchase worth $1 million in coins.

Matters only worsened when the Greenbergs learned that the coins they purchased weren’t worth what they were initially told. Instead, the coins were marked up with a huge premium and were only worth $1.3 million versus the $2.1 million they bought them for.

Rosland Capital had also gone bankrupt months after the lawsuit was filed. The Greenbergs wish to recover their losses and want the court to add punitive damages. Von Detten has not made an official comment on the matter.

The former Disney child actor was largely known for a series of hit roles in the late ’90s and early 2000s. He starred in Brink!, The Princess Diaries, National Lampoon’s Barely Legal, and more. His last film role was in 2019 as a cameo voice role in Toy Story 3, and he had a TV role in a 2024 TV film. He joined Rosland Capital in 2018.

Music fans were treated to an unforgettable surprise when Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance at the inaugural Teach Rock Gala to honor his longtime E Street Band bandmate and creative partner Steven Van Zandt.

The legendary frontman supported Van Zandt’s national education initiative, Teach Rock. The unexpected stage moment highlighted not only the power of music in classrooms but also the enduring brotherhood between two of rock’s most enduring icons.

Springsteen discussed how much Van Zandt’s contribution to building a bridge between music and education has impacted so many students. The event saluted teaching excellence at the inaugural TeachRock Teachers Hall of Fame Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey.

The Boss inducted educator Mary Morello, mother of Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who was given the first TeachRock Lifetime Achievement Award. Morello accepted on behalf of his late mother, who died at the age of 102 in July 2026.

Morello honored his mother while accepting her award, stating she would always be remembered when others use their voice for change. He said, “My mom led a humble, yet powerfully impactful life. The impact of this modest, little old lady became more clear after her passing.”

The first honorees inducted into the TeachRock Teachers Hall of Fame class of 2026 included Tanya Peterson of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Asbury Park, New Jersey; Kathy Durham of West Wendover High School in West Wendover, Nevada; and Patrick “Mac” McGuire of Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Comedian Jeff Ross spearheaded a high-energy auction that raised thousands of dollars for TeachRock, supporting free educational programs currently used by 80,000 teachers and reaching more than one million students nationwide. He told event attendees, “Like a lot of kids, every night before bed, they told us to say prayers. They would teach us, ‘In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.’ But in my house it was ‘In the name of Bruce, Steven, and Southside Johnny.'”

Bon Jovi added, “Steven, you’ve been a teacher to me, you’ve been a friend, you’ve been somebody who’s always loved music, and that’s a beautiful thing because music loves you back.”

After his induction, Van Zandt took to the podium and said, “One way you know you’re getting old is when they put your name on sidewalks. But I’m planning on a big ninth inning.”

He continued, “Over the last 20 years, nearly half of American school districts made cuts to the arts to focus on tested subjects like reading and math … it has not worked. If they had asked me, I could have told them, if you want kids to do better at reading and math, give them more of the arts. But they didn’t ask, so I decided to give it a shot.”

October is ADHD Awareness Month, and Paris Hilton continues her advocacy work to make conversations around neurodivergence more visible.

The pop culture icon and reality entertainment entrepreneur’s 11:11 Media company is known for using her platform to protect youth, drawing attention to behavioral correction centers such as Provo, where Hilton was sent and experienced firsthand unethical abuse.

“So many of the kids at these schools are only there for ADHD,” she said at her first annual Unstoppable Summit. Along with other victims, they helped bring about Provo’s closure after years of advocacy and passing bills on Capitol Hill.

For Hilton, her story with Provo is deeply connected with her late-diagnosis ADHD journey and recognizing that she and so many other victims ended up in places like it due to their neurodivergence being punished instead of being identified early on and helped. She continued, “I hope by us speaking about this, that other people, maybe who don’t have ADHD, can understand and be more sensitive towards it and create environments where children with ADHD can thrive.”

With the Unstoppable Summit, Hilton threw open the doors of her home to creators and figures in media with ADHD, inviting them to build a space for understanding, celebration, and connection without the narrow lens of stigma. In its first year, Unstoppable carves out a compassionate community with the potential to keep growing and give more people, including late-diagnosed adults like me, a place to begin.

Being neurodivergent is hereditary, and as a new mom, preparing myself to raise a child who might be too is so important. In my journey, I’m open to reframing my ADHD as both my biggest strength and recognizing its limits when it backfires on me. All of my experiences as a writer, both good and bad, are due to a “lack of risk aversion,” something I discovered at Unstoppable was a thing. Nancy Armstrong, Certified ADHD Parenting Coach and creator of the award-winning documentary The Disruptors, explained, “It’s not that you don’t see the risk; it’s just that the risk doesn’t win.” My mind was blown.

Diagnosis for women can usually come later in life, as masking is something we’re societal ingrained to do. For most of my life, I didn’t realize I had developed ways to assimilate and navigate social spaces like school as a kid and workplaces as an adult. In my experience, it was adopting methods to succeed and fit in while hiding how much my risky quirks fueled my resilience. Armstrong elaborated, “We can do better in focusing on strength because we focus on strength. The lion’s share of your interest will go toward things you’re actually good at and that you love, and that is so important”

Often, it’s not until a life-changing event, such as postpartum, that the toolset from masking can fall away. For me, it began with my infertility journey, where my hormone changes began to exacerbate my emotional, undiagnosed state, leading to a high-risk pregnancy and prolonged postpartum anxiety. I was lucky to be listened to by my all-women OBGYN team and a therapist who encouraged me to seek an ADHD diagnosis. Something that at the time, I was privileged to have easier access to, but that’s not the case for everyone and is not guaranteed to always be readily available.

Around my early postpartum months, I was watching Paris’ similar journey into motherhood and how her ADHD impacted it; she and one of my closest friends with ADHD definitely inspired me to seek testing. When I got confirmation, I felt a wave of relief, and research backed up why I felt this way. In the years after childbirth, studies have found that diagnosis rates in women rise, while, according to the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry in the U.S., women with ADHD find themselves experiencing postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.

At the summit, Dr. Sasha Hamdani illuminated why I felt so much shame and rejection during what was simultaneously the happiest moment of my life with my baby. “We just focus on the focus part of it. But for so many of us, it’s the emotional side that is so truly difficult,” she said about the role emotional dysregulation plays in ADHD.

Internalized ableism and misalignment with people in my life, while experiencing waves of emotional dysregulation, suddenly made more sense as she elaborated: “When you think about the brain processing emotion, you think about two different areas. Number one is the amygdala. This tiny almond-shaped structure deep in the brain, and that’s your emotional threat detector. And so that is hyper-responsive for highly emotionally sensitive people. And then the other part is your prefrontal cortex, directly under your forehead. And that is the very smartest part of your brain, in charge of judgment and decision making and processing. That is under-responsive. So now you have this super-responsive emotional side and this underperforming logical side. So your emotions are going to feel bigger every time.”

As a new mom, it’s a part of the journey that, at least, I got meaningful and valid takeaways from Unstoppable, even as a Latina writer without a big following. I just needed to hear that stepping into parenthood as fully myself, unmasked, while scary, would be enough for my kid to learn from. “It won’t be perfect, and you’ll have to forgive yourself, and you’ll have to go back and repair when you screw up. That’s really important. But the love is there, and that’s the most important thing. Love these children fiercely. They’ll accept you for the imperfect person that you are, and they’ll get through it.” Armstrong encouraged the parents in the crowd.

Hilton emphasized that her children inspire her ADHD journey as a parent and shared how she’s aware of her ability to help improve the world around her: “I love working hard. I love everything I do. I love inspiring my children that they can go for their dreams and do everything they want in life. And be like, ‘Oh my god, my mom is now on Capitol Hill. She just passed a bill’. ‘Oh, my mom is now performing at World Pride in front of 100,000 people’. ‘My mom can do anything.'”

Gender, race, age, socioeconomic background, and access play a role, which is why the social media maven launched an initiative to expand platforms, resources, and information distribution through creators of all sizes. Organizer Sarah Greenberg, psychotherapist and vice president of expertise and behavioral health innovation at Understood.org, shared, “When creators share their ADHD stories, it can help start conversations that may not otherwise happen. And pairing that storytelling with expert-backed information can turn awareness into real support.” 

Being a part of a very public forum with inclusive creators and members of the media at Unstoppable was a powerful start in a country that can stigmatize women’s mental health until it’s too late. Greenberg looks to the event’s growth: “At Unstoppable, leading mental health and neurodivergence experts gave creators facts and trusted resources to better understand their brains, share their stories with confidence, and help their audiences find accurate ADHD information to help them thrive.”

And with the intention to include even more speakers and creators in future events, Unstoppable is partnering with auditory sensory tool manufacturer Loop, during ADHD Awareness Month, to donate a portion of proceeds from every Loop Engage to help fund 11:11 Media Impact’s neurodivergent-focused programming, education in partnership with Understood.org, content aimed at reducing the stigma around ADHD, and initiatives supporting early diagnosis within the neurodivergent community.

Little Debbie is more than a familiar face on snack cake boxes. She’s a real person whose grandparents helped build the business that bears her name, and she was just 4 years old when she became the brand’s namesake. 

The story began in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in 1934, when Ruth McKee and O.D. McKee started selling snack cakes for just five cents each out of their 1928 Whippet automobile. According to the company, the couple eventually used the car as collateral to buy an old factory and expand their growing bakery business.

By 1960, the family was ready to introduce its first family pack of Oatmeal Creme Pies. The McKees named the product line after their granddaughter, Debbie, giving rise to the Little Debbie brand.

The idea reportedly came from their packaging supplier, Bob Mosher. O.D. McKee then took inspiration from a photograph of his granddaughter wearing her “favorite straw hat,” using the image to create the brand’s now-famous look.

Debbie’s parents, Ellsworth McKee and Sharon McKee, had no idea their daughter was about to become the face of the new business. According to Little Debbie, they didn’t find out until the first cartons were being printed.

Once the products hit stores, the real Little Debbie helped introduce them to shoppers. Debbie McKee-Fowler, as she is known today, handed out snack cake samples at grocery stores while wearing the straw hat that had inspired her image on the packaging. 

The 1960s brought several new treats, including Swiss Rolls and Nutty Buddy bars. By 1964, Little Debbie offered 14 varieties of snack cakes. Today, its lineup includes more than 75 varieties. 

Debbie grew up alongside the family business. According to Tasting Table, she even worked part-time at the company while she was in high school. After O.D. and Ruth stepped down, Debbie’s father and her uncle Jack McKee took over. Debbie later joined the company’s leadership alongside her cousins Mike McKee, Chris McKee and Rusty McKee.

The McKee family is now in its fourth generation of running the business, and that family connection may be one reason Little Debbie has stayed so recognizable over the years. Compared with many other snack cake brands, McKee Foods remains a privately owned, family-run business. It’s based in Collegedale, Tennessee, which is about 25 minutes outside of Chattanooga. 

Today, the family business is a far cry from its early days of selling five-cent snack cakes out of a car. McKee Foods generates nearly $2 billion in annual sales. Its exact valuation hasn’t been publicly disclosed, but the brand’s growth over the decades has turned the McKee family’s small bakery into a major name in the snack cake industry.

Prince Harry just opened up about why he chose to move back to the U.K. in a new interview with Zach Baron on GQ’s “One More Question” podcast. 

Why did Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle choose to leave their picturesque home in Montecito, California, and move back to England? As it turns out, family is at the heart of their decision. 

“Opportunities for the family. Being able to put the kids in a British school has meant a lot to me. I didn’t know how important it was to me. I always thought it was going to be something I would try and do or that we would try and do. But now they’ve been in school for two weeks. They’re loving it, and it’s just giving them a whole different experience,” said Harry. 

Before you think he’s not on board with schools in the U.S., he added, “Don’t worry, I’m not criticizing American schools. But I think for kids at seven and five to be able to have that comparison and to have two completely different cultural experiences is so important today. But yeah, to be back closer to my family. And to be back on U.K. soil for longer than a few days or a week here or there, you know?”

According to the father of two, his children, seven-year-old Prince Archie and five-year-old Princess Lilibet, are adjusting to their new home: “It’s been nice to be close to friends, family, friends and their children as well. To be able to have endless play dates to really, like, help our kids settle in.”

The Duke of Sussex continued the conversation, opening up about the decision to move right now. “Look, there’s no part of anything really that’s easy anymore. For lots of people. You know, and this wasn’t something that we planned for a long time. It’s something that we thought about, and we’ve considered, but for us, when certain stars align, and it’s clear that this should or probably will end up being the case, then we lean into that,” he said. 

Harry spoke candidly about what the move means for him as a father, “I think that having been here [in the U.S.] for six years now and only being able to go back to the U.K. for short periods of time, to actually have my whole family there with me, the place that I grew up, wanting to be able to show my kids where I grew up and have them have the experiences to some extent that I had, the good rather than necessarily the bad, provided real, yeah, proper, serious thinking as to this is an opportunity, let’s do it now.”

Of course, showing off his home country to his kiddos wasn’t the sole reason for the family’s seemingly sudden move. Harry did allude to the current political climate factoring into their decision: “Good to be outside the U.S. for the next few months, perhaps. Let things settle down for a bit. And then we work it out from there.”

As to whether the Sussexes will stay in the U.K. for good, Harry hasn’t given a time frame. Based on his recent interview, his family is enjoying the present and not looking towards a future move. 

Returning to London for a one-night-only concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Darren Criss surprised the audience by bringing out his Glee co-star, Chris Colfer. Paying homage to their characters, Blaine Anderson and Kurt Hummel, Criss and Colfer sang “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”

Less than a day after the performance, Criss landed in New York City for the 2026 Fetch Pet Gala at The Carlyle. During the gala’s green carpet and cocktail hour, Parade spoke with Criss about his “hell of a 24 hours.”

“I literally just landed, and I just came straight here,” Criss said. “I love London, and it was such an honor to be in that performing arts venue. And now we’re at kind of another version of that — a much smaller but equally as storied venue, The Carlyle.”

Criss called his concert at Albert Hall “a bit of a fever dream.”

“It kind of felt like a wedding where all these people and all these things happen, and now you’re back to back home,” Criss said.

In addition to his song with Colfer, Criss also surprised fans with appearances from Sarah Hyland, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Tom Fletcher of McFly.

“Chris was one of many, many people that were in town,” Criss explained. “It just lined up so remarkably serendipitously that when I found out, I was like, ‘You guys have to come out on stage with me. … The Chris moment was a really, really exciting one.

Criss continued, saying that he and Colfer had planned the surprise appearance “for a while.”

“I thought it just went fabulously,” Criss said. So it was exciting for us as … it was hopefully for the people in the audience, and hopefully for people who have watched it on their screens at home.”

Colfer wasn’t the only Glee star Criss reunited with. Alex Newell (Unique Adams in Glee) also took the stage for the StarKid Productions song “Goin’ Back to Hogwarts.”

“[Newell] came up and sang Dumbledore’s part … completely unrehearsed,” he said. “That was as bats-t as it was delightful.”

Criss’ performance at Royal Albert Hall comes less than a month after Glee creator Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Tonight that he has finished writing the script for a reboot of the show. While details have not yet been released, Murphy said it’s been co-written by Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and “nobody’s read it yet.”

“So I don’t know, we’ll see,” Murphy concluded.

Kyle Kennedy, granddaughter of Robert F. “Bobby” Kennedy and Ethel Kennedy, died at age 42 at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, on September 21, 2026, according to her obituary.

She passed away “peacefully,” her obituary reads, highlight how she “built a career devoted to early childhood education.”

“Blessed with a formidable intellect, dry wit, and beauty, she will be remembered for her devotion to her children Conor, Josephine, and Declan, and her support for educational reform for disadvantaged children and for people living with disabilities,” the page continued.

Kyle is the daughter of Michael Kennedy and Victoria Denise Gifford, as well as one of 34 grandchildren of Bobby and Ethel Kennedy. She is predeceased by her father, Michael, with Kyle being just 13 years old when he tragically died in a skiing accident on New Year’s Eve 1997.

She dedicated her life to helping others, becoming an educator, which started when she went to work with a disadvantaged school through the Teach For America program. Kyle was also a major advocate for those with disabilities, having been impacted by it when she suffered a severe spinal cord injury in 2020 that left her paralyzed.

Kyle married Liam Kerr in August 2012, and the couple went on to have three children. However, their daughter Josephine, who was a twin of their son Conor, died a few days after her birth. They welcomed their son Declan a few years later. She is also survived by her mother, her brother Michael, her sister Rory, and several nieces and nephews.

The obituary did not name a cause of death, with the Westwood Town Clerk telling PEOPLE that it is pending.

Kyle Kennedy, a granddaughter of Robert F. and Ethel Kennedy, has died at 42. The educator and disability advocate passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at her home in Westwood, Massachusetts, according to her obituary, announced by Burke Funeral Homes. Funeral services were private, and no cause of death has been disclosed so far.

In 2019, Kennedy ran the Boston Marathon through a driving rainstorm and finished twenty minutes ahead of her own father’s time. One of 34 Kennedy grandchildren, she was 13 when her father, Michael, died on New Year’s Eve 1997.

Then, in 2020, everything changed. She suffered a severe spinal cord injury that resulted in long-term paralysis, disability, and other medical challenges. The public record doesn’t say how it happened. Her obituary says the years that followed were hard, and that she held on to her dry wit and determination, focused on being the best mother she could be to her two sons and on caring for her two unruly Wheaten terriers.

She also began speaking up for others. Kennedy became an advocate for people living with disabilities and testified at the Massachusetts State House during a hearing on discrimination in health care for disabled people. It extended a career built on fairness for children. A Georgetown graduate with master’s degrees from Pace and Harvard, she taught in New York City public schools through Teach For America, then pushed for more equitable elementary education.

Motherhood sat at the center of it all. Her obituary singles out her devotion to her children, Conor, Josephine and Declan. Josephine, called Josie, was Conor’s twin and died after only a few days of life, a loss Kyle held close for the rest of her own life. Her sons are 12 and 10.

Her obituary paints a picture of a fierce competitor who kept her humor through hardship.

Behind-the-scenes details are being revealed in a new Young Sheldon book that includes one of director Alex Reid‘s “worst run-ins” with Ian Armitage on set.

Armitage joined Young Sheldon as its leading star in 2017, when he was only eight years old, and knows a thing or two about playing young Sheldon Cooper. Reid admits in Young Sheldon: The (Juicier-Than-Meemaw’s-Brisket) Inside Story of the Hit Comedy that his poor word choice led Armitage to feel slightly insulted and “pissed” during filming.

“We were doing a scene, and it would not surprise me if Iain didn’t know he was on camera at this specific shot because he kind of wasn’t playing it like he was acting,” explained Reid.

“I went in there and said, ‘Iain, you’re on camera, so you got to give it your all.’ And he took that as ‘I’m not giving it my all?’”

Reid goes on to explain that his choice of wording didn’t sit well with the actor for the rest of the shoot, and Armitage wanted to “go again” after multiple takes. The actor was to “give it my all,” with Reid ultimately apologizing for his poor choice of words.

“I said, ‘That was a terrible choice of words on my part, and I apologize. I was just trying to protect you because you were on camera, and I wasn’t sure if you knew it or not,’” Reid recalled. “It was all lovey-dovey, and then I asked him if he’d go out and take a picture with me.”

The photo is included in the new book and shows Reid and Armitage side-by-side on set with the Young Sheldon plaque next to them. In the book, Reid also explains that the young actor wasn’t always comfortable expressing his feelings and would instead try to mask them in some other way.

“Iain wasn’t always comfortable talking about whatever he was really feeling or something,” Reid said. “He just put out this smoke screen of a million words and ideas and thoughts and impressions and accents and jokes, or whatever.”

There have been reports of Armitage being difficult to work with on set, with castmates coming to his defense that he was a young actor carrying an entire series. Amy Potts, who played Meemaw Connie, admitted that he sometimes was difficult, but “he was tired, and sometimes I think he pushed people, and people were kissing his ass!” He was expected to act and behave like a grown-up.

The book also details a misheard incident between Armitage and Wendie Malick, who played the president of Sheldon’s college on the show. She had accidentally compared the actor to Ted Cruz, which offended the young actor. Malick quickly realized she misspoke, and Armitage explained, “I was very insulted until I realized she meant Tom Cruise, not Ted Cruz.”

Armitage also explained that Young Sheldon was a huge commitment at a young age, and he did the best he could, and “sometimes kids are not perfect.” He thanked the cast and crew for giving him some grace during the show.
