Maggie 8-Piece Comforter Set, $38 (was $100) at Macy’s Shop at Macy'sThe full, queen, and king sets include one comforter, one bed skirt, one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, two pillowcases, and two pillow shams. The twin and twin XL sets come with all of those pieces minus one pillowcase and one pillow sham. Both pillow shams and the comforter feature a gorgeous floral print, while the rest of the set is plain white, evening out the eye-catching pattern.
Multiple reviewers described this comforter set as “beautiful,” and it isn’t hard to see why. Adorned with dainty white flowers with a pinkish tint, this comforter set radiates cottagecore charm. The flowers are different shapes and sizes, so the print doesn’t feel monotonous. It also features wispy green leaves that have a delicate feel. The floral print is set against a muted pastel blue background, allowing the flowers to pop and stand out. This nature-inspired design can instantly perk up your bedroom and give it a spring-ready aesthetic.
You’re essentially getting two looks in one with this set because it has a reversible design. If you ever decide you want more of a minimalistic look or just want to switch things up, simply flip the comforter over or reverse the shams to showcase just the blue background.
This comforter set is made of 100% polyester, and shoppers noted that it’s “soft” to the touch, “good quality,” and isn’t scratchy. The comforter filling is also 100% polyester, making this set a great choice for those with allergies, as it’s a non-natural hypoallergenic material. It offers light to medium warmth, which is ideal for warm weather and for those who sleep hot.
Featuring subtle quilting stitching that snakes throughout the fabric, this comforter ensures that the filling stays in place rather than clumping up in random areas. The pillow shams have envelope closures, designed to prevent your pillows from slipping out. It also creates a polished appearance because your pillows won't peek out.
As a bonus, this comforter set is easy to care for. Because it’s made of 100% polyester, you can just toss it into the washing machine whenever it needs a refresh.

This City Was Ranked the Best Place to Visit In All of Canada
If you’ve been searching for a destination that feels like a European escape without crossing the Atlantic, Quebec City might be exactly what you’re looking for. Ranked among the best places to visit in Canada by U.S. News, this charming city stands out for its cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and distinctly French atmosphere, all just a road trip or short flight away for many U.S. travelers.
@goanniewhereWelcome to the most MAGICAL place in North America 😍 Quebec City feels straight out of a storybook and you NEED to book a trip to Quebec City 🇨🇦 #quebeccity #quebec #canada #quebeccite
♬ original sound - Annie @GoAnnieWhere What Makes Quebec City So SpecialWhat truly sets Quebec City apart is its old-world charm. The heart of the city, Old Quebec, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and feels like stepping into a storybook. Think narrow streets, stone buildings, and centuries-old landmarks that transport you straight to Europe.
At the center of it all is the iconic Château Frontenac, a grand hotel that towers over the St. Lawrence River and is one of the most photographed hotels in the world. Even if you’re not staying there, it’s worth visiting just for the views and the experience.
Beyond the architecture, the city’s culture is a huge draw. French is the primary language, and everything from the cuisine to the cafés reflects that influence. It’s a place where you can enjoy fresh croissants in the morning and classic French-Canadian dishes like poutine later in the day.
Top Things to Do in Quebec CityThere’s no shortage of things to see and do, whether you’re interested in history, food, or outdoor experiences.
- Start with a walk along the Terrasse Dufferin, a scenic boardwalk offering stunning views of the river and the surrounding area. It’s especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset.
- History lovers should explore the Plains of Abraham, the site of a pivotal battle between British and French forces. Today, it’s a peaceful park perfect for walking, biking, or picnicking.
- For a more local feel, wander through Petit Champlain, one of the oldest commercial streets in North America. It’s filled with boutiques, art galleries, and cozy restaurants, making it a great place to shop and dine.
- If you’re willing to venture just outside the city, Montmorency Falls is a must-see. Taller than Niagara Falls, it’s especially impressive in spring and summer when the water flow is strongest.

- Summer (June–August): The most popular time to visit, with warm weather, festivals, and lively streets.
- Fall (September–October): A quieter time with stunning foliage and crisp air, perfect for walking tours.
- Winter (December–February): Magical if you don’t mind the cold. The city transforms into a snowy wonderland, especially during the Quebec Winter Carnival.
- Spring (April–May): Less crowded and more affordable, though the weather can be unpredictable.
One of the biggest advantages of visiting Quebec City is how accessible it is from the northeastern United States.
- From Boston: about a 6.5-hour drive
- From New York City: around 7–8 hours
- From Burlington, Vermont: just under 5 hours
This makes it an ideal destination for a long weekend or an extended road trip, especially for travelers seeking an international experience without the hassle of long-haul travel.
Why It Continues to Rank So HighlyAt its core, Quebec City offers something rare: a blend of history, culture, and accessibility. It’s walkable, visually stunning, and packed with experiences that feel both unique and immersive.
Whether you’re exploring centuries-old streets, enjoying French-inspired cuisine, or taking in views of the St. Lawrence River, it’s easy to see why this city continues to be recognized as one of the best destinations in Canada.
If you want a destination that feels far away but is surprisingly close to home, Quebec City delivers. With its European charm, rich history, and year-round appeal, it’s not just one of the best places to visit in Canada; it’s one of the most memorable trips you can take without leaving North America.

Iconic ’70s Rocker Addresses Bandmate’s Maternity Leave Amid 2026 Tour
Legendary shock rocker Alice Cooper has officially addressed a major lineup change ahead of his 2026 tour, confirming that longtime guitarist Nita Strauss will take a temporary break as she prepares to welcome her first child.
In her place, the rock icon has introduced 22-year-old British guitarist Anna Cara, who is set to join the band on stage starting this April.
Cooper shared the update alongside a performance photo, reassuring fans that the transition is in good hands while celebrating Strauss’ milestone moment. The announcement comes just as the band gears up for a packed schedule of shows across the United States and Europe.

“Nita found a brilliant British female guitarist to fill in for her while she is on maternity leave,” Cooper said. “Anna Cara is a beautiful, dynamic shredder in the vein of Nita but with a style of her own. She will fit in with our gang perfectly while Nita is away and we can’t wait for the sick things to meet her. Welcome to the show, Anna!”
View this post on InstagramStrauss, who has been part of Cooper’s touring band for over a decade, earlier confirmed she would step away temporarily to focus on her growing family. Despite her absence, she expressed strong confidence in her replacement.
“When I was asked in an interview who I thought was the best up-and-coming guitarist, I had no hesitation in answering ‘Anna Cara,’” Strauss said. “Anna’s precision and soulful, emotional playing will make her an amazing asset to the Cooper tour!”
Cara, a rising talent from Newcastle, England, is already making waves in the rock scene. She has previously worked with artists like Marc Storace and Tommy Henriksen, and built a strong online following through her guitar performances.
Her debut with Cooper will take place during the Welcome To Our Nightmare shows in Las Vegas from April 2 to April 4. These performances are part of a special collaboration with illusionist Criss Angel at Planet Hollywood.
Following the Las Vegas residency, Cara will continue with the band for the Alice’s Attic U.S. tour from April 14 through May 9. Additional Las Vegas dates are scheduled for late May, followed by a European leg running from June 13 to July 12.
Cara shared her excitement about joining the legendary rocker’s band, calling the opportunity deeply personal.
“This is like a dream come true, to join Alice and his great band,” Cara said. “Back when I started playing guitar at 14 I was watching Alice Cooper live shows on YouTube dreaming of joining one day! Nita Strauss is a tough act to follow, and she’s been so encouraging to me this past month, so I am looking forward to showing everyone who I am and what I can do.”
Strauss’ temporary departure marks a significant moment for the band, given her long-standing role and strong connection with fans. She described her time with Cooper as unforgettable while looking ahead to returning after her maternity leave.
“Working with Alice for 12 years has been the experience of a lifetime and I look forward to seeing you all back on the road (with a +1 along for the ride!)” Strauss said. “Until that time comes, I know that the show is in good hands and the fans are in for a treat!”
Cooper’s current touring lineup remains intact aside from the temporary guitar switch, with Cara stepping into a role that demands both technical skill and stage presence. Early reactions suggest fans are eager to see how she brings her own style to the band’s signature sound.
With a full tour schedule ahead and a new guitarist ready to prove herself, Cooper’s 2026 run continues to build momentum, even as it marks a personal milestone for one of its key members.

1975 Hit Ranked Among ‘Best Movies of All Time'
In 1975, a single film changed Hollywood forever.
Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg, has been ranked among the best movies of all time by Rotten Tomatoes, further cementing its legacy as one of the most influential films ever made.
The film, based on the book of the same name by Peter Benchley, is set in the fictional beach town of Amity Island, the film follows police chief Martin Brody, played by Roy Scheider, as he teams up with a marine biologist and a seasoned shark hunter to track down a massive great white shark terrorizing the community. What unfolds is a suspense-driven story that blends horror, adventure and character drama.
"The first thing I told Peter Benchley was I didn't see any room in this adventure for the affair between Ellen Brody, the wife of the chief of police, and the ichthyologist," said Spielberg in an interview for Vanity Fair.
"That was like a Peyton Place scandal that I didn’t feel had any place in the kind of movie I wanted to make. But I was mostly intrigued and swept away by Peter Benchley's enormous storytelling skills in the rest of the novel, with a sea-hunt survivors adventure. That's what I wanted to focus on—and I wanted to get there without having to deal with the nonessential peccadilloes going on in a town without pity. So, the affair never really made it even into the early script that Peter Benchley wrote."
Upon its release, Jaws became the first true summer blockbuster, drawing massive audiences and setting a new standard for wide theatrical releases. Its success reshaped the film industry, proving that a single movie could dominate the box office and capture the cultural conversation.
"“I was naive about the ocean, basically. I was pretty naive about mother nature and the hubris of a filmmaker who thinks he can conquer the elements was foolhardy, but I was too young to know I was being foolhardy when I demanded that we shoot the film in the Atlantic Ocean and not in a North Hollywood tank," Spielberg told Entertainment Weekly. "But had I to do it all over again I would have gone back to the sea because it was the only way for the audience to feel that these three men were cast adrift with a great white shark hunting them."
The film's tension-filled storytelling was amplified by its now-iconic score from composer John Williams, whose two-note motif became instantly recognizable. Combined with Spielberg's direction, the film created a sense of suspense that has influenced generations of filmmakers.
Beyond its box office success, Jaws has remained a critical favorite for decades, frequently appearing on lists of the greatest films ever made. Its impact can still be felt in modern thrillers and blockbuster filmmaking alike.
More than 50 years later, Jaws continues to resonate, not just as a thrilling story, but as a landmark moment in cinema history that forever changed how movies are made and experienced.
How to Watch the First Few Minutes of Russell Crowe's New MMA Movie
What do Tom Hanks and Russell Crowe have in common? Film buffs certainly know...
The pair of Hollywood icons have both won Best Lead Actor Oscars two years in a row, with Crowe nabbing his trophies in 2001 and 2002.
It's hard to believe this year marks the 25th anniversary of Gladiator cleaning up at the Academy Awards — with Crowe, now 61, being honored for his heroic turn in Ridley Scott's masterpiece.
Two and a half decades later, the New Zealand-born Australian performer is still keeping busy in Hollywood with yet another fighting-centric film soon hitting the masses.
From Lionsgate, Beast will be released in theaters on April 10. Here's the official synopsis: After years away from the cage, a once-feared MMA champion is pulled back in for the fight of his life when his younger brother is put in danger. Reuniting with the trainer (Crowe) who once made him a legend, he commits to one final showdown against the reigning title-holder — a brutal fighter determined to dismantle the ex-champ’s legacy in front of the world. Pushed to his breaking point, the contender’s stakes are simple: win, or lose everything he’s built.
The film is rated R for language throughout, some violence/bloody images and sexual material/nudity. Tickets are already on sale here.
And to help further promote the Crowe starrer, Lionsgate released the first three minutes of the film on Thursday, April 2 for YouTubers to enjoy. Check out the gritty and emotionally charged clip below.
Fans have taken to the comments section of Lionsgate's YouTube post to express their excitement for the upcoming MMA movie. "HOT DAMN I love me some Russel Crowe!" wrote one user, while another person commented, "reminds me of when Russell was in Cinderella Man."
On that note, fans of Crowe's filmography will recall his 2005 film Cinderella Man, which was also Oscar-nominated and revolved around fighting.
Lindsey Buckingham's Accused Stalker Speaks Out Following His Recent Assault
Michelle Dick, the woman against whom the legendary former Fleetwood Mac member Lindsey Buckingham took out a restraining order, has spoken out following the musician's recent attack in Santa Monica.
In case you missed it, Buckingham was entering a building for an appointment one morning when an unnamed woman, who was lying in wait inside, threw an unidentified substance at him in a surprise attack. While the suspect has not been publicly named, police have confirmed that they know her identity, as she has been involved in prior incidents with Buckingham. An arrest is reportedly forthcoming, though, at the time of writing, it does not seem to have occurred.
Dick Admitted to Approaching Buckingham Last WeekWhile Dick has not been named as the suspect in this incident, and while she has not admitted to any involvement in this case, she spoke with Los Angeles news affiliate KTLA5's Sandra Mitchell in the wake of the news breaking, where she did admit to approaching the musician sometime last week.
She also revealed that sometime after the restraining order against her was granted, she returned to Buckingham's home, "one time...last year."
“But I didn’t know I had a restraining order on me," she clarified. She also told the publication that she's been living in her car.
Buckingham Has Had a Restraining Order Against Her for Over a YearBuckingham was granted a temporary restraining order against then-52-year-old Dick in December of 2024, which ordered her to stay 100 yards away from not only him, but his wife Kristen and their son, William. It was quickly upgraded to a permanent restraining order, though it does expire in December 2029.
Dick allegedly started harassing the rocker and his family in 2021, tracking down all of their phone numbers and leaving threatening messages on a daily basis. She claims Buckingham is her father, and eventually started showing up at the home—and even reportedly once swatted the family.
Iconic ’70s Band Announces Concerning Health Update
YES, the British progressive rock band has issued a concerning update, prompting fans to send their healing thoughts for a member.
Set for a major tour with five members, the “Owner of a Lonely Heart" hitmakers announced sad news to the public, especially those who are looking forward to their upcoming tour.
In an Instagram post, YES updated fans on the health status of guitarist Steve Howe, who will undergo an “essential operation,” which will require time for his recovery.
Due to this, the band was forced to make major changes for their 2026 U.K. and European leg.
According to their statement, they will be postponing the scheduled tour, which was supposed to kick off on April 22 in Glasgow.

“The upcoming YES ‘Fragile’ UK and EU Tour, due to commence on 22nd April, has had to be postponed as guitarist Steve Howe requires an essential operation that requires recovery time. This decision has been made to ensure that Steve can return to the stage in full health and deliver the performances that fans deserve,” the caption reads.
Despite the sudden changes, the band assured fans that they are working to reschedule the UK and EU shows and advised the public to wait for full details.
Lastly, YES also expressed their gratitude to fans and hoped for their continued support, especially during this time for their recovering band members.
“We are working hard to reschedule the UK and EU shows to a later date, with full details to be announced after Easter. Please retain your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Tour dates currently being arranged for later in 2026 will proceed as planned. Steve Howe and YES would like to thank their UK fans and hope for their continued support at this time,” the message says.
View this post on InstagramThe unexpected post received overwhelming support from fans who were wishing Howe a speedy recovery.
“Prayers ascending for Steve!! He inspired me to start playing,” one wrote.

The same goes for another follower who mentioned “Prayers for a successful surgery, speed recovery, and for all those caring for you, and for you and your family, Mr. Howe.”
“I wish Steve a full and quick recovery. However, don't reschedule the tour, simply bring in a new guitarist and keep on touring as you have in the past,” an Instagram user added.
Although the band did not disclose the reason for the surgery, he previously canceled a solo performance in 2023 due to health issues
"I’m so very sorry to have to cancel tonight’s performance due to a cut on my left thumb that inhibits any guitar playing,” he confirmed through a Facebook post.
As mentioned, YES are set for a jam-packed April and May schedule for their UK and EU tour and were supposed to perform in major cities like Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Paris and more.

David Duchovny Is Unrecognizable After Transformation for Next Role
The X-Files star David Duchovny is set to star alongside Laverne Cox in the upcoming film Soapbox, and his transformation for the role leaves him unrecognizable.
Duchovny, 65, appeared in photos from the Los Angeles set, which were obtained by Daily Mail, in full drag.
The beloved actor nearly went unnoticed as he donned a blonde wig, a lacy black button-up top, which was left halfway undone, and a sequined black mini skirt. The look was completed with black sunglasses, pantyhose with a seam down the front of his leg and red lipstick.
According to Deadline, the film — which will also star Duchovny's 26-year-old daughter, West Duchovny — is "a satirical comedy following an aging soap opera star who finds himself caught in the absurdities of today’s culture wars."
While little else is known about the film's plot, Duchovny is credited as a co-writer on the project along with Max Barbakow.
Randall Park, Jimmi Simpson, and Jennifer Grey are also set to appear in the Andrew Jay Cohen film.

Best-Selling Author, With Classic No. 1 Novel, Ranked Among ‘Most Read Books’ on Goodreads
Best-selling author Frieda McFadden is having another major moment with readers.
Her breakout hit, The Housemaid, has been ranked among the most-read books on Goodreads, based on recent user activity. The distinction reflects how frequently readers are marking the novel as "read," shining a light on its continued popularity over three years after its initial release.
The Housemaid follows a woman, Millie, who takes a job working for the wealthy Winchester family, quickly becoming immersed in their seemingly perfect home. Her days are spent cleaning, caring for their daughter and preparing meals while quietly observing the unsettling dynamics beneath the surface. Nina, the wife, behaves erratically, creating messes just to watch them be cleaned and telling strange, unsettling lies, while her husband Andrew appears increasingly fragile and weighed down by something unspoken.
As Millie becomes more drawn into their world, tempted by the life Nina leads, she begins to realize something is deeply wrong. When she discovers her attic bedroom can only be locked from the outside, the situation takes a darker turn. But as the tension builds, it becomes clear the family isn't the only one hiding secrets and they may have no idea who they've really let into their home.
Since its release, the novel has surged in popularity across online reading communities, particularly on platforms like Goodreads and BookTok, where readers have praised its addictive pacing and shocking reveals. The 2025 film adaptation starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried only further drove reader interest.
"If you want to see a movie based on a book, you must see the movie first," McFadden told BookPage. "Because the book is almost always a richer experience due to film time constraints, so if you see the movie second, you will often be disappointed by what is left out."
Known for her fast-paced, twist-filled thrillers, McFadden has built a devoted fan base with books that keep readers guessing until the very end. Among her most talked-about titles is one of her latest, Dear Debbie, which is also among the list of the most popular books among Goodreads users. The novel follows advice columnist Debbie Mullen, whose life begins to unravel as she loses her job, grows suspicious of her husband's secrets and struggles to keep control at home. After years of guiding other women through their problems, Debbie decides she's done playing nice and starts taking matters into her own hands in a quest for payback.
"I spend a lot of time planning the book in my head and the physical writing is quick," McFadden told The Gloss. "I'll think about a book for months and then I like to blow through the fi st draft really fast because once I'm writing, it's all I can think about."
As The Housemaid continues to climb the charts, its success reflects a broader trend: readers can't seem to get enough of stories that keep them on edge, and McFadden knows exactly how to deliver.

'The Pitt': Who Plays Noelle Hastings? Where You Recognize Meta Golding From
Nurse and case manager Noelle Hastings, played by Meta Golding, has been popping in and out of the emergency room all season of The Pitt. Just as you start to think you've put your finger on what else you've seen her in, she disappears from the screen for episodes at a time, and you know what they say—out of sight, out of mind.
Who Is Noelle Hastings?Noelle first appeared in the ER this season to tell Drs. McKay and Robby that one of their patients, Allen Billings, would need to be transferred out for a much-needed surgery due to insurance restrictions. McKay is affronted by the move, and Noelle turns to Robby for clarification about the interaction. During their private chat, some implications arise that she serves as a love interest for Noah Wyle's Dr. Robby.
She returned a few hours later to help Dr. Mohan find a solution for Orlando Diaz, who could not afford his treatment for a diabetic emergency. Unfortunately, the family made too much money for Medicaid, but not enough to afford their own private insurance, and Orlanda ultimately disappeared against medical advice, before his illness got the best of him and he was brought back a few hours later.

Best-Selling Novel Ranked Among ‘Favorite Books’ for Iconic ’70s Singer
Beloved country icon Dolly Parton is known for her storytelling in song, but her love for great stories extends well beyond music.
In a recent roundup of her favorite reads for Woman's World, Parton, 80, named Water for Elephants as one of the books that has stayed with her over the years. The bestselling novel by Sara Gruen has captivated readers since its release, earning widespread acclaim for its vivid characters and emotional depth.
Published in 2006, Water for Elephants tells the story of a young man who finds himself working for a traveling circus during the Great Depression. As he becomes entangled in a complicated love story set against the backdrop of life on the road, the novel explores themes of resilience, survival and the bonds that form in unexpected places.
The book quickly became a major success, landing on bestseller lists and building a devoted readership. Its popularity eventually led to a film adaptation starring Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson, further cementing its place in pop culture.
For Parton, whose own career has been defined by heartfelt storytelling, it's no surprise that a richly layered novel like Water for Elephants would resonate.
"I must read at least about 50 books a year," said Parton in an interview with Jenna Bush Hager. "I don't watch TV that much, I prefer to read. So I read everything. I read historical fiction, I read everything in Reese Witherspoon's book club, I read everything in Oprah's."
Known for championing literacy through initiatives like her Imagination Library, she has long encouraged readers of all ages to discover the power of books. The Imagination Library, a nonprofit that mails a book a month to children in the United States and around the world at no cost to families, has delivered over 115 million books since Parton founded the organization over 20 years ago.
"I think that if you can read, it gives you wings to fly," Parton told NPR. "Through books, you can see how other people live and what other things there are in the world and all the things that you might become."
