In the world of sports, however, there was one NBA player who was not only an enigma, but ultimately a Hall-of-Fame player, yet he's arguably more known for his off-the-court antics than 5 championship rings.

Playing the field, so to speak, with high-profile relationships with Madonna, Vivica A. Fox, and most notably Baywatch babe Carmen Electra, the man known as "The Worm" may have sported neon-green hair, but is actually very humble behind closed doors.

In one of Hollywood's classic blink-and-you 'll-miss-it marriages, Electra and Dennis Rodman lasted all of 9 days after eloping in Vegas — the city he once notoriously visited instead of practicing with fellow famous Hall-of-Fame teammates like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

But their marriage wasn't defined solely by red carpet appearances and late-night ragers on The Strip.

Per Basketball Network, Electra peeled back the curtain on her now ex-husband's humble side — one shaped by a difficult childhood in which a Dallas family took him in and helped provide the support he needed during his teenage years, even working as a janitor at DFW Airport.

After playing college ball at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, he was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 1986 before becoming known for his tattoos, wild hairdos, and dating life while internally battling "imposter syndrome", unsure if he belonged on basketball's biggest stage.

No one could've predicted the level of fame he would see — and never shy away from with his $27 million career earnings.

Within his own four walls was anything but glamorous according to his famous ex-wife, who said, "Dennis was very humble. He had a small house and a truck. There was a couch in the living room. He threw a mattress on the floor, and that’s where we slept."

Nowadays, Rodman largely stays out of the public eye, with a few rare exceptions endorsing various products and openly trying to repair his strained relationship with his daughter, soccer star Trinity Rodman, while Electra remains a familiar face, acting and modeling.

Mick Jagger has spent six decades crafting his words on record. When Elon Musk was named in a lyric on the Rolling Stones' new album, listeners assumed it was a jab. Jagger says they got it backward.

The Rolling Stones frontman addressed the lyric directly during a conversation on the New York Times podcast The Interview. The line appears on "Mr. Charm," a track from the band's new album Foreign Tongues, their 25th studio release and second in under three years following 2023's Hackney Diamonds. On the song, Jagger sings about wondering who he'd trust to get him into space and asking if he should trust "mad mogul Mr. Musk."

"When I wrote that, I was thinking that because of him, they were able to get those astronauts back," Jagger explained, referring to stranded NASA crew members. They were "stuck because because NASA couldn't provide the transportation" but Musk did. He said the line traces back to childhood daydreams about space travel. "When I was a kid, we used to want to go to Mars," he said, before asking himself who he'd actually trust to get him there: "Boeing? NASA? Or Mad Mogul Mr. Musk?"

Jagger pushed back on the idea that the song is hostile. "It's really a sidewinding compliment," he said, "because he was the one that I remembered was able to do that when the others couldn't." He also admitted the word choice created a problem he didn't anticipate. "Mogul doesn't always go down well," he said. "No one likes a mogul." Musk isn't the only target on Foreign Tongues either. Elsewhere on the record, Jagger takes aim at unnamed billionaires "scuttling, scrambling to their bolt holes in the sky" and "dirty rat autocrats," proof that the political streak on this album runs wider than one line about one man.

The same conversation cleared up a decades-old mystery closer to home. Asked about his uncredited backing vocals on Carly Simon's "You're So Vain," Jagger seemed almost bewildered that fans ever thought the 1972 hit was about him. "Why would it be about me when I'm singing on it?" he said. He recalled getting the call from producer Richard Perry, a story Simon has also told over the years, and said he simply enjoyed the work. "I love doing those sort of things, especially with a female," he said. "I'm louder than her on some of it." Jagger has never publicly commented on the session before, making the admission a small piece of pop history finally filled in more than fifty years after the song became a number one hit.

Jagger also weighed in on the band's future, saying he has "doubt" about whether the Rolling Stones will tour again but still hopes to. At 82, with Foreign Tongues arriving as a record largely built on love, aging and a handful of pointed lines about power, Jagger's Musk line stands out as one of its more unexpected footnotes. The confusion around it, he suggested, comes down to listeners hearing one name and stopping there. "You're only listening to Musk," he said. "That's all you hear."

A lemon wedge in my sparkling water is my favorite way to make an ordinary afternoon drink feel a little more special. (I fell in love with Limoncello in Sorrento decades ago—and I even gravitate toward lemon-scented cleaning products. Yep, I’m a lemon lover.)

Lemons make almost everything taste more vibrant. They’re equal parts pantry staple and secret weapon, capable of balancing richness, enhancing sweetness and adding just enough acidity to keep every bite interesting. So when I started seeing TikTok creators freezing whole lemons before grating them into pasta, I was immediately intrigued.

The idea sounded almost too simple. Instead of zesting and juicing a fresh lemon, the recipe calls for freezing the entire fruit overnight and using a box grater or microplane to grate the zest, flesh and even the pith into a buttery Parmesan sauce. Fans claim the frozen lemon is easier to grate, creates an extra-fragrant finish and makes better use of the whole fruit.

It turns out there’s actually some food science behind the trend. According to food scientist Ed McCormick, freezing the fruit “acts almost like a mechanical preparation step,” breaking down the lemon’s cell structure so more of its juice, aromatic oils, pulp and zest are released together when grated.

So, as someone who’s always looking for another excuse to cook with lemons, I had to know whether this clever twist worked or if it was simply another viral food hack destined to fade away. Here's what I learned.

What Is the Viral TikTok Frozen Lemon Pasta Trend?

Frozen lemon pasta is TikTok’s take on pasta al limone, a classic Italian dish known for its deceptively simple combination of pasta, lemon, butter and cheese. Traditional recipes typically rely on freshly grated lemon zest and juice to add bright, citrusy flavor to a silky sauce made by emulsifying butter, Parmesan and starchy pasta water. The result is light yet rich, with the lemon balancing the creaminess of the cheese and butter rather than overpowering it.

The viral version keeps those same core elements but adds one unexpected technique: freezing the whole lemon overnight. Then you grate the frozen fruit—the zest, pith and flesh—which creates delicate, fluffy shavings that melt into the hot pasta. Fans say freezing the lemon makes it easier to grate, releases more fragrant citrus oils and lets you use more of the fruit instead of just the zest. It gives the classic pasta a fresh twist while keeping the simple, comforting appeal that makes pasta al limone so beloved.

According to McCormick, freezing ruptures some of the lemon’s plant cells, allowing “juice, aromatic oils, pulp and fine zest particles” to be released together as you grate it. That creates a more layered flavor profile than zesting and juicing separately, while helping distribute the lemon’s aromatic oils more evenly throughout the dish.

He notes that freezing doesn’t chemically change the lemon; it simply changes how its flavor compounds are released.

Ingredients and Tools Needed for This Dish

Here's what you should grab before trying it at home.

Ingredients

• 1 large unwaxed lemon, frozen solid (overnight)
• 1 pound long pasta, such as spaghetti, linguine or bucatini (basically spaghetti with a hole in it)
• 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter
• 6 to 8 tablespoons) finely grated Parmesan cheese (I used about ½ cup—I usually measure cheese with my heart), plus more for serving
• Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
• About 1 cup reserved pasta water
• Salt

Tools

• Large pot
• Mixing bowl
• Box grater or microplane
• Tongs
• Measuring cup

How To Make the Frozen Lemon Pasta Recipe

Wash and thoroughly dry the lemon, then freeze it overnight.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until al dente, reserving about 1 cup of the pasta water before draining. Return the drained pasta to the pot.

While the pasta cooks, grate about two-thirds of the frozen lemon—zest, flesh and a small amount of the pith—directly into a bowl.

Grate the butter into the same bowl (or cut it into small pieces). Add the Parmesan and several grinds of black pepper.

Add the lemon-butter-cheese mixture and about 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water to the cooked pasta. Toss until the butter and cheese melt and form a smooth sauce. Add more pasta water, a splash at a time, until the pasta is evenly coated.

Taste and adjust with more black pepper, Parmesan or grated frozen lemon, if desired. Serve immediately.

Alternatively, you could grate the lemon into a large heat-safe bowl and toss the whole dish in the bowl rather than the pot.

Frozen Lemon Pasta: My Honest Review

This technique won me over almost immediately. The lemon grated much more easily than I expected, producing light, fluffy shavings that practically melted into the hot pasta. The aroma alone was enough to make the recipe feel promising.

After tasting the finished dish, I understood why. Instead of getting occasional bursts of lemon zest, the sauce had a citrus flavor woven throughout. That’s exactly what McCormick says should happen: Freezing helps distribute the lemon’s juice, pulp and aromatic oils more evenly, while the tiny grated particles melt into the sauce for a more integrated flavor.

The only thing I’d change is how much lemon to use. While the recipe calls for about two-thirds of the fruit, I’d encourage anyone making it for the first time to start with less and add more as needed. Not everyone loves lemon as much as I do.

Also, the presence of the pith does make this dish slightly more bitter than traditional pasta al limone. Next time I would add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, a pinch of salt or more cheese to counteract the bitterness.

Overall, though, I’d absolutely make this again. It’s a simple weeknight dinner that feels surprisingly elegant, and it’s proof that not every viral recipe is all style and no substance.

• Comes together in about 20 minutes with pantry staples.
• Gives classic pasta al limone a fun, modern twist.

Cons

• Requires freezing the lemon overnight, which means you need to plan ahead.
• Works best with unwaxed, thin-skinned lemons because too much pith can make the dish bitter.

3 More Ways To Use Grated Frozen Lemons

• Sprinkle it over roasted vegetables. A light grating over asparagus, broccoli, Brussels sprouts or potatoes adds brightness without making the roasted vegetables soggy (the way lemon juice can).
• Stir it into baked goods. Mix grated frozen lemon into muffin, scone or quick bread batter. Or fold it into whipped cream or buttercream for an extra burst of citrus before frosting a cake.
• Finish seafood. Instead of serving lemon wedges on the side, grate a little frozen lemon over grilled salmon or shrimp just before serving for fresh citrus flavor in every bite.

The Australian music community is mourning the loss of Andy Bickers, the longtime saxophonist whose powerful performances helped shape Cold Chisel's live sound for more than three decades. He was 56. Cold Chisel announced Bickers' death on Friday, sharing that he passed away following a battle with cancer.

"Our much-loved sax player of more than 30 years, Andy Bickers, passed away this morning after a hard-fought battle with cancer," the band wrote in a statement shared on Instagram. Calling him "our brother," the group remembered Bickers as "an incredible musician" whose unforgettable performances on songs including "Rising Sun," "Saturday Night" and "My Baby" became an integral part of the band's live shows. "Our hearts break for his wife Lisa and his son Rudy," the statement continued.

Frontman Jimmy Barnes, who first worked with Bickers before he joined Cold Chisel's touring lineup, also paid tribute. "We were friends not only because he was a great player, but he was funny, intelligent and, most importantly, he was a good man," Barnes wrote. "Lots of love to Lisa and Rudy. You will be sadly missed, Andy."

Fellow Australian music icon Iva Davies of ICEHOUSE reflected on performing alongside Bickers just weeks before his passing. "Andy was a consummate musician," Davies wrote, praising the many artists he collaborated with throughout his career and the musicians he inspired and mentored. "He will be truly missed by all of us."

Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Bickers built a remarkable career after relocating to Australia, where he became one of the country's most sought-after touring and session musicians. Beyond his decades with Cold Chisel, he performed with artists including Midnight Oil, Silverchair, the Eagles, Don Henley, Diesel, You Am I, Hoodoo Gurus, and many others.

Midnight Oil also honored Bickers on social media, noting that one of his final performances came at the 2026 APRA Awards, where he led the brass section during a tribute to drummer Rob Hirst.

The viral video making rounds on socials shows what used to be normal, bright-blue water now carrying delighted little captains through a murky, tea-colored lagoon instead inside Ocean City's Trimper Rides.

It's a mystery what changed at first glance, but the water's eye-popping new hue can only conjure one question: What exactly is my child floating through?

While the water appears toxic at first glance, we all know there's nothing more toxic than comment sections — and people did not hold back!

From comparisons to the "Mississippi River" and even "sewage" to quips like, "I've changed diapers that look cleaner than that," the comments are proving just as entertaining as the kids driving the boats.

Trimper Rides Responds

This is one of those moments when you realize public relations may not always be a fun career path.

Receiving over a million views on the New York Post's original TikTok post, videos have since spread even more like wildfire, triggering a response from Trimper Rides.

Scott Savage, president of Trimper Rides, was quoted as saying, "While the appearance of the water was not what our guests expect or what we expect of ourselves, the issue did not compromise guest safety".

Adding, "our independent pool maintenance contractor regularly monitors and maintains the attraction to ensure it meets all applicable safety standards.”

The issue seems to stem from a malfunction in the filtration system. Roughly 13,000 gallons of unsightly brown water was drained and is now reportedly back to normal.

More than four decades after it first hit the airwaves, The J. Geils Band's "Centerfold" remains one of the biggest rock songs of the early MTV era and the only No. 1 hit in the band's long career.

Released in September 1981 as the lead single from the album Freeze Frame, "Centerfold" climbed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1982 and stayed there for six straight weeks. The song became the commercial peak for the Massachusetts rock group, which had spent more than a decade building a reputation as one of America's most exciting live acts.

Forty-five years later, the song continues to receive regular airplay on classic rock radio and remains closely tied to the band's legacy.

The J. Geils Band was formed in the late 1960s by guitarist John "J." Geils alongside singer Peter Wolf, harmonica player Richard "Magic Dick" Salwitz, drummer Stephen Jo Bladd, keyboardist Seth Justman and bassist Danny Klein. Before "Centerfold," the group had already enjoyed chart success with songs including "Must of Got Lost," "Love Stinks," "Come Back” and "Give It to Me."

Still, none of those songs reached the top of the charts. "Centerfold" changed that.

The song centered on a man who discovers that his former high school crush has appeared as a centerfold model in a men's magazine. The story follows the narrator as he struggles with conflicting emotions, moving between disappointment and attraction as the song unfolds.

Its catchy chorus, memorable hook, and upbeat sound helped turn it into an international hit.

Beyond topping the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, "Centerfold" also reached No. 1 in Canada and Australia while climbing to No. 3 on the UK singles chart, according to Billboard. It became The J. Geils Band's biggest worldwide success and their only major hit in Britain.

The success of "Centerfold" lifted Freeze Frame to new heights. The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became the most successful release of the band's career. Follow-up singles also performed well, with "Freeze-Frame" reaching No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Angel in Blue" climbing into the Top 40.

At the same time, MTV was beginning to reshape the music business, and the video for "Centerfold" quickly became one of the channel's early staples. Heavy video rotation introduced the band to younger audiences and helped fuel sales of both the single and the album.

The commercial breakthrough marked a major shift for a band that had spent much of the 1970s touring relentlessly and building its audience through energetic live performances rather than radio exposure.

Earlier albums such as Bloodshot, Nightmares... and Other Tales from the Vinyl Jungle and Love Stinks had established The J. Geils Band as a respected rock act with strong blues and R&B roots.

By the early 1980s, however, the group's move toward a more mainstream and keyboard-driven sound brought its biggest rewards.

Although "Centerfold" became the defining song of The J. Geils Band's career, it represented only one chapter in the group's story.

Singer Peter Wolf left the band in 1983 following disagreements over musical direction. The band released one final studio album before breaking up in 1985, although reunion tours and special performances followed in later years.

J. Geils died in 2017 at age 71, but the group's music has remained a fixture on classic rock playlists and streaming services.

Meanwhile, Peter Wolf continues to perform. The former frontman recently announced a series of New England tour dates scheduled for early 2026 with his backing group, The Midnight Travelers, marking his first run of shows since 2024.

Today, "Centerfold" holds a place among the biggest songs of its era. For many fans, it remains the song that introduced them to The J. Geils Band.

For the band itself, it remains the hit that defined an era and secured its place in rock history.

She added that true beauty isn't found by avoiding change.

"And maybe that's where beauty has been all along. Not in escaping change, but in becoming through it."

It is reminiscent of how some folks online derided Black Panther's Chadwick Boseman's appearance when he started to get thinner and thinner. Turns out, he had cancer, and people were just being mean without knowing that he was quietly suffering. As a society, we've learned no lessons, unfortunately.

She Urges Fans to Choose Kindness

Brandy went on to acknowledge how quickly people form opinions based on appearance while knowing very little about someone's life.

"I've learned that it takes only a moment to form an opinion about someone's appearance, and a lifetime to understand what they've lived through."

She encouraged her followers to extend more grace to one another.

"So may we become gentler with one another. Not because everyone is fragile, but because everyone is carrying a story we cannot see."

Actor Leslie David Baker has officially clocked out of Dunder Mifflin and into the ham business. The Office alum, 68, celebrated the grand opening of his own Honey Baked Ham store in Sherman Oaks, a Los Angeles neighborhood in Southern California.

Baker, who spent nine seasons playing Stanley Hudson on the award-winning NBCsitcom, celebrated the grand opening on Saturday, July 11. He co-owns the Sherman Oaks location with entrepreneur Tony Vennie, and the duo quietly opened their doors back on June 22 ahead of the official celebration on Saturday, as reported by The New York Post.

Baker spoke to NBC Los Angeles on July 9 and shared that the whole idea started with a familiar kind of frustration. "I came home one day and was complaining about waiting in the long line at another store," he said, noting that the area had gone without a Honey Baked Ham location for more than a decade.

For Baker, convenience was the whole point. He described the new Ventura Boulevard shop as a genuine one-stop destination for busy families. "You don't have to go get your meats (in) one place, your vegetables somewhere else, your salads another place, your desserts, you can feed your family and make one stop," he told the outlet.

A fierce, bridge-burning country music song topped the charts in the early ’80s, and it completely conquered country radio all over again almost two decades later thanks to a high-energy powerhouse cover.

Dottie West sang the ultimate kiss-off anthem in 1980. "A Lesson in Leavin'" is a breakup song about a woman angry at her lover for leaving her.

It fit right into the decade, which showcased an era of bold storytelling, smooth production, and fierce songs. The track was a certified monster hit right out of the gate, climbing all the way to No. 1 and cementing its place as a classic.

West reached the top of the Billboard Country listing in April 1980 with the song. It lingered on the charts for 15 weeks in total.

UDiscover Music called West's version of "A Lesson in Leavin'" one of the best country songs of the 1970s. They wrote, "Dottie West’s original is the funkier version, with a dubby drum beat and groovy bassline that’s as suited to the discotheque as the honky-tonk."

In fact, the country superstar took a risk with the song. Prior, West was best known for singing sweet, melancholy duets with Don Gibson and Kenny Rogers.

Taking on a sassy, fast-paced breakup anthem like "A Lesson in Leavin'" was a massive gamble. Instead, the song completely revitalized her career, proving that a country traditionalist could sing a pop-infused song and secure her very first solo No. 1 hit.

But what makes this song truly legendary isn't just its initial late-'70s dominance. Almost exactly 20 years later, Jo De Messina recorded the same track and turned it into an even bigger, multi-week smash for a whole new generation.

In 1999, De Messina updated the song, giving it a 90s contemporary country-pop edge. Her version also skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard Country charts, landing at No. 2.

Messina told Billboard, "The first time I heard this song I was watching the Dottie West story (1995’s Big Dreams and Broken Hearts) on TV, and Tim McGraw, who co-produced the song, actually suggested I cut it because he said it sounded like me,” explains Messina. “I am so glad that I did."

Fragrance influencer Paul Fino shares a similar opinion, telling Parade that if he ever recommends a peach perfume—either on TikTok, where he has 2.9 million followers, on Instagram, where he has over 642k followers, or here—it’s because it’s just that good.

“For me, a good peach perfume has to smell more natural and juicy, not too synthetic,” Fuentes, who also has a fragrance-focused TikTok account, @KathleenSmells, tells Parade. “Peach can go very candy-like very quickly, and sometimes it gives that artificial peach ring feeling. I like when peach feels wearable, fresh and balanced instead of overly sweet or heavy.”

Fino agrees, explaining that peach fragrances that are “soft, juicy and balanced with a touch of florals” are the best for him. 

“I love a sweet, candy-like peach, but if it becomes too sugary, it can start to feel a little juvenile,” he shares. “The best peach fragrances capture the fruit’s natural juiciness while still feeling elevated and wearable.”

“I’ll be honest. Peach is actually one of my least favorite fruit notes, so I’m pretty critical when it comes to peach fragrances,” states Fino, who also tells Parade he has a big collaboration coming in the fall for fans to look out for. “If a peach perfume makes it onto this list, it’s because I genuinely think it stands out from the rest.”

“This is my favorite peach-forward fragrance,” she states. “It’s long-wearing, intense and has a really noticeable peach note without smelling too fake or synthetic. If someone wants a true peach perfume that feels more elevated and memorable, this is the one I would point them to.”

She also shares that she’d classify this perfume as one of the best in the luxury and gourmand categories as well. That’s because it “feels more intense and unique,” and has “more depth and longevity than a simple fruity scent” with a “more dramatic take on peach,” making it feel luxurious for her. 

As for why she thinks it’s a good gourmand fragrance, she notes that it’s great if you “want peach with more richness and impact,” giving you a “stronger peach experience without feeling cheap or overly artificial.”

If you’re someone who wants a body mist more than a straight-up perfume, Fino chooses Phlur’s Peach Skin as the best in this category.

“This is the perfect peach body mist,” he tells Parade. “It smells like a realistic peach with a soft, airy skin musk in the background. It’s not overly sweet or too floral. It’s just clean, fresh and effortless.”

Best Fruity: KAYALI Eden Sweet Peach, $32-$150

As you can imagine, this category is one with maybe the most contenders for a peach-scented perfume. And both of our fragrance experts chose Kayali’s Eden Sweet Peach for this one, along with two other superlatives: Best for Layering and Best Sweet.

It’s one of Fuentes’ favorites in this note because it differs from the rest.

“... It doesn’t have that overly sweet, fake peach ring quality that some peach fragrances can have,” she tells Parade. “It feels juicy and wearable without being too synthetic or too sugary. I personally prefer [Kayali] Eden Plush Pear ($150) because pear is more my usual vibe, but I think the peach is done really well.”

She also notes that it “naturally feels warm-weather appropriate” and playful, making it great for this current season.

Fino actually tells us that he thinks this is the best peach overall in his opinion, for a lot of the same reasons Fuentes likes it.

“I didn’t expect to love this fragrance as much as I do,” he tells Parade. “It’s juicy, refreshing and delicious without feeling overwhelming. Funny enough, this is one of the peach fragrances I get the most compliments on from straight men.”

As for why it's the best for layering, Fino shares his go-to fragrance layering combo that involves Kayali's peach perfume.

“My favorite layering combination is Kayali Eden [Sweet] Peach with [Kayali] VANILLA 28 ($150),” he states. “Together they smell like warm peach pie topped with vanilla ice cream. It’s one of my favorite gourmand combinations.”

And in terms of why it's the best sweet peach fragrance on the market, he shares that it's because it's "juicy, playful and perfectly sweet without crossing into overly sugary territory."

Melanie Moreno and Sincere Rhea coupled up on Day 1 and quickly became fan favorites as their dynamic chemistry set the villa ablaze. However, things quickly turned for the pair as Sincere turned out to be insincere in the way he moved in the villa, a pattern that was only exacerbated during Casa Amor, where Sincere quickly began exploring his connection with other women.

Melanie claimed that she truly cared deeply about Sincere, but felt that he was making her appear stupid to America, as he told her one thing and then acted differently when he was away from her. This was echoed tenfold when the couple went through with the experience they shared during Movie Day.

With all of Sincere’s sins exposed to both the villa and America, Melanie struggled with what to do next, but in the end decided to give her relationship with Sincere another chance, but begged him not to make her “look dumb”.

As fans watched the events of Family Day unfold, support for Melanie remains high, but her relationship and continued reliance on someone who has appeared to have treated her poorly has turned many viewers off, with some wondering how they made it to the finale in the first place. So it is expected that the couple will finish in fourth place.

Zach Georgiou entered the villa walking in the shadow of his brother, Love Island USA Season 7 contestant Charlie Georgiou . While Zach initially partnered up with Kenzie, the first bombshell of the season, Kayda Bosse, immediately sent a shockwave throughout the villa as she pulled Bryce and Zach for a date. While Bryce Dettloff immediately showed interest in exploring their connection, Kayda had eyes only for Zach, which became evident when the pair went to bed, and Bryce tried to join the cuddle they were sharing, only to be told by Kayda, “Not tonight.”

Kayda and Zach would remain together throughout the season, becoming so popular that they became the first couple to visit the ‘hideaway’, after having been nominated by their fellow Islanders, and have a romantic night alone. During Casa Amor, the pair had the ultimate test of their relationship, as Zach explored his connection with Alannah Keyser. While Zach appeared to be adamant that he was always going to return to Kayda, his exploration was cut short as she was removed from the Villa following the resurfacing of videos of Alannah saying racial slurs that appeared online.

Following Casa, the pair had the occasional struggle, as Zach wasn’t completely forthcoming about his movements in Casa Amor; however, fans remain locked in and enjoy their connection. But since there are a few holes in their experience, we expect them to lock in third place, as the remaining pairings have stronger fanbases.

Of the final four couples, Aniya Harvey and Karl Schmidt are the most recent to couple up, having only just been begun exploring their connection in Casa Amor. Though Aniya didn’t initially choose Karl, and ultimately was the reason he was sent home, America was given the opportunity to bring a male and female member of Casa Amor back to the villa, and with Aniya’s previously established relationship with KC Chandler coming to a tragic end, Aniya was given the opportunity to reunite with Karl once again.

Throughout the entire experience Aniya has remained one of the most popular Islanders in the villa, often ranking highly on viewer voted polls on the Love Island USA app. It was her relationship with KC that fans were not as invested in, given the way KC treated her.

Since being reunited with Karl, the couple's popularity has skyrocketed, with fans' unwavering support for Aniya at an all-time high. Last season showed the possibility that a newly cemented couple can pull off a win, as Amaya Espinal & Bryan Arenales took home the win, but there is only one couple that stands in their way…

Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff began their relationship on Day 1, immediately coupling up as Trinity stood behind Bryce’s door. While the pair initially didn’t believe they had much in common, they were able to navigate the challenges that came with the villa. This began on Day 2 when both Trinity and Bryce decided to explore their connection with someone new. Bombshells Kayda and Gabriel Vasconcelos came into the villa and swept the two off their feet, but ultimately they were not chosen by either bombshell, and then they were reunited.

The couple then decided to give their relationship a solid try, build on their connection, and ultimately navigate things together. The pair became the first couple of the Season to be given a romantic date on their own, and were the first couple not only to close off their relationship but also to make things official and become boyfriend and girlfriend.

Fan support for both Islanders individually and together has continued to grow since Day 1, with fans rallying around “Brinity” at an all-time high. Viewers have shown their support for the pair in every fan vote and created a fandom wave of support that the other remaining couples simply do not have from a win-equity perspective. They’re the odds-on favorite to take home the win.

Bob Eubanks, 88, hosted The Newlywed Game from 1966 until 1974, and occasionally returned for revivals until 1999. The star spoke about his involvement in the show during an episode of “The Game Show Starring Bradley Clarke” in 2021, revealing the role that Frank Sinatra played in the lexicon of the show.

During the conversation, Eubanks revealed that he had a say in which questions would be asked during the program. As reported by PEOPLE, he said, “The writers would get into a room, and they would start writing questions, and they would get bored, and they would say, ‘Oh, we gotta get it done,’ and they would come up with some stuff that, for the time anyway, was pretty rich. So they gave me that honor.”

He revealed that he “refused to ask about 20% of the questions that the writers came up with” because he was “the one who would have to take the brunt of it.” One of the questions he was uncomfortable asking involved the phrase “making love.”

Eubanks stated, “In 1966, as I said, television was pretty quiet, and they wanted me to say ‘make love,’ because the soap operas and all of the other shows were saying ‘make love.’ And I wouldn’t do it because I think you shouldn’t have to explain ‘make love’ to your children until you were ready to do so.”

Eubanks continued, “So Sinatra had the hit record, ‘Makin’ Whoopee.’ I said, ‘I’ll tell you what. Let’s use the word whoopee, and it can be whatever you want it to be.’ So that’s how it was born, over the entire original run.”

“Makin’ Whoopee” was a song released by Sinatra in 1956. It was included on his album, Songs for Swingin' Lovers! It contains lyrics like: “He’s washing dishes and baby clothes. He’s so ambitious, he even sews. But don’t forget folks, that’s what you get folks, for making whoopee.”

Eubanks was the longest-running host of The Newlywed Game, but the show has also been hosted by Paul Rodriguez, Gary Kroeger, Carnie Wilson, and Sherri Shepherd. The latest version ended back in 2013.

Frost made a lasting mark on the industry after earning a place as one of the best rock supergroups of all time.

BBC Music Magazine unveiled its list of the top 23 supergroups, recognizing bands whose members were already established musicians or successful solo artists before joining forces.

Legendary supergroups like Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and Asia secured the top three spots. Frost, fronted by founder Jem Godfrey, landed at No. 18.

The English progressive rock band eventually brought together musicians with backgrounds spanning progressive rock, jazz-funk and pop rock.

Along with Godfrey, Frost's original lineup also featured guitarist and vocalist John Mitchell, best known for his work with Arena and Kino, drummer Andy Edwards and bassist John Jowitt, best known for his work with IQ, was formed in 2004.

Although the band formed in 2004, it was not until 2006 that Frost released its debut album, Milliontown, which took the prog world by storm.

Described by some as “the greatest prog rock album of all time,” it featured six tracks with the title track “Milliontown” lasting 26 minutes and 35 seconds.

Amid the band's growing success and critical acclaim, Frost went on a two-year hiatus, as confirmed by Godfrey.

On his MySpace blog, the frontman unexpectedly announced the disbandment after the band completed its remaining tour dates. At that time, he cited personal and professional commitments as the primary reason, particularly "increasing professional and personal commitments elsewhere," since he was also a sought-after music producer and songwriter.

Following the release of Experiments in Mass Appeal in 2008, Craig Blundell joined as Frost's drummer while Nathan King became the band's full-time bassist in 2009.

They have been longtime members of the band throughout Frost's on-again, off-again history, including its second breakup in 2011, which stemmed from health issues and leadership challenges.

Eight years after releasing its second album, Frost returned with Falling Satellites in 2016, marking the band's third studio album.

The album showcased 13 tracks with “Numbers,” “Towerblock” and “Heartstrings” standing out among its highlights.

Following another hiatus, Frost returned in 2021 with Day and Age, followed by its fifth album, Life in the Wires, in 2024.

Leading up to the release, Godfrey hinted at the band's comeback by introducing the members.

"Work on Life In The Wires is progressing nicely and the old crew are back together - Craig, Nath and John are standing by, Mr Carl Glover is back onboard to deliver yet more cracking album art and even the mastering date is (foolishly) booked,” he said on the band's Facebook page at that time.

It was a major success for the band as it earned Album Of The Year, Epic Of The Year and Album Production Of The Year at the 2024 Prog Report Awards.

“Randy Scouse Git” was a 1967 song released by the Monkees. Peter Tork, who played bass guitar and keyboard, claimed that this was one of his favorite tracks from the band. Audiences enjoyed it, too. The song became a No. 2 hit in the UK.

However, the title was changed to “Alternate Title” because the record company stated that the original title was rude to British audiences. Vocalist Micky Dolenz had come up with the name after hearing the phrase in an episode of Till Death Us Do Part, a British TV show that he had seen while he was in England.

In a 2011 interview, Dolenz explained the inspiration behind the song, telling a story that involved the Beatles. He said, “We were in London doing press, and the Beatles threw us a big party. We were staying at the Grosvenor. Mike and I had turned up on Top of the Pops to surprise everybody by saying hello, and they’d smuggled us in in the boot of a car. That’s where I met my first wife, Samantha, who was a Top Of The Pops DJ, the record girl. It was an amazing experience. I am told I had a great time. I met Samantha, and we had a massive love affair. Brian Jones hid in one of our rooms when he was hiding from police, and then we got a letter from Princess Margaret asking if we could keep the fans quiet as it  was disturbing her sleep.”

Dolenz continued, “The next morning, there were a few people hanging around, Mama Cass was in town, and I’d met this girl, and I just started doodling with the guitar and singing about Samantha and my friend in the room and the waiter who came in with breakfast and the girls outside screaming. It was like a diary, word association. There’s no deep hidden meaning. ‘The being known as wondergirl’ was Samantha, and the ‘wonderful lady’ at the start was Mama Cass. I must have been watching Till Death Us Do Part on TV. Alf Garnett called the kid (Tony Booth, Tony Blair’s future father-in-law) a ‘randy Scouse git’. I had no idea what it meant, but I thought it was funny, so I wrote it down.”

The Monkees went on to become a massive success, landing their own television show on NBC. They released several hits over the years, like “I’m a Believer,” “Daydream Believer,” and “Last Train to Clarksville.” Unfortunately, their television show was canceled in 1968, and the band broke up in 1970.  

Dolenz is the last surviving member of the band. He is currently 81.

WNBA star Sophie Cunningham made a surprise cameo as a UFC ring girl during the highly-anticipated UFC 329 fight on Saturday, July 11, and fans went wild for the blonde athlete's unexpected appearance. However, many were focused on one interesting detail: she didn't wear shoes for the event.

The Fever star appeared during the co-main event between Paddy Pimblett, who won the fight, and Benoît Saint Denis at T-Mobile Arena. She wore a black bodysuit and black short shorts, her signature blonde waves, and bare feet for the event, later posing with other co-main event fighter Max Holloway, who technically beat Conor McGregor after the UFC legend suffered an injury moments into the first round.

She recreated her viral pointing moment for the photo after drawing controversy for pointing at Mercury star DeWanna Bonner during a game weeks prior.

"The fact that he has on shoes but she doesn’t hahahahahahahaha," said one fan after seeing the photo with Holloway. Another questioned, "Why is she barefoot?" while a commenter responded, "Why not? That is total bad a-- of her to be barefoot all night. It’s a new fashion statement." A fourth contended, "She gonna get staph."

Other fans were excited to see Cunningham either way. "I switched over to watch the last couple of fights and I'm like holy s--t, that girl looks just like Sophie Cunningham!" one wrote. "That was unexpected."

Perhaps most interesting about Cunningham choosing to walk the ring sans shoes is that her own Adidas collaboration's drop date was announced the same day. Cunningham is set to release her hot pink and baby blue "Crazy Energy" sneaker with pink and orange soles on July 24. According to Bleacher Report, the exclusive colorway will be available for $120.

The unique choice in footwear (or lack thereof) could probably be attributed to the fact that the cameo was unplanned. “(We decided) eight minutes before she did it,” UFC CEO Dana Whiterevealed at the post-fight press conference. “I love Sophie Cunningham. We’ve created a relationship. She was here tonight, and when she walked in, she goes, ‘Oh, I want to walk around that.’ I said, ‘Then you’re going to walk around it!’... She’s fun."
