Why It's Perfect for Meal Prep

Many Costco fans love the convenience factor of this new deli find. Fans describe the bowl as a macro-friendly grab-and-go meal that requires no cooking. Others say the flavor is fairly mild on its own, so they add hot sauce, avocado or salsa to customize it. Bonus? Costco has all of those things.

For busy families, the biggest advantage is flexibility. You can eat it cold straight from the container, split it into individual lunch portions or pair it with extra greens for a larger dinner.

Costco has also been expanding its deli offerings beyond the protein bowl. Shoppers have recently spotted new prepared foods including Italian Sausage Pasta and Mango Salmon Ceviche. Those join a growing lineup of ready-to-eat options designed for quick meals at home.

I know I'll be grabbing one of these protein bowls to chow down at the food court the next time we stop.

At around $16.99 per package, the new Chicken & Grain Protein Bowl isn't the cheapest item in the deli case. But if it truly stretches to four meals, the cost per serving looks much more attractive—especially for shoppers trying to save time on weekday lunches.

Following lead singer Bon Scott's untimely death in 1980, Australian rock band AC/DC replaced his role within the group with Brian Johnson. The first single from their album Back in Black, and thus the first to feature Johnson, was the power anthem "You Shook Me All Night Long."

"You Shook Me All Night Long" was released on August 15, 1980, and peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Despite not being a No. 1 hit, the song is considered by many to be AC/DC's signature song from their catalog.

Since the song's release, the lyrics and the writing behind them have been subject to debate and controversy. Band members Angus Young, Malcolm Young, and Brian Johnson are the sole songwriters credited on the track. However, many believe that at least some of the lyrics were written by Bon Scott prior to his death in February of 1980.

Two of Scott's former girlfriends claimed they saw writing by Scott that made it into "You Shook Me All Night Long." Additionally, Doug Thaler, a close friend of Scott's and AC/DC's booking agent for their American tours, said of the lyrics and their writing:

"I don't care who tells me anything different: you can bet your life that Bon Scott wrote the lyrics to 'You Shook Me All Night Long'. It's Bon Scott's lyrics all over the place."

Over the years, the song has become a signature track of AC/DC's and is almost never omitted from live performances and/or setlists. When the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, they performed the song with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith.

"You Shook Me All Night Long" is extremely popular with critics and fellow musicians. Guitar World ranked the guitar solo at No. 80 on their "100 Greatest Guitar Solos" list, and Rolling Stone ranked the track among their "500 Greatest Songs of All Time." Rock critic Robert Christgau even went so far as to call the song AC/DC's "only great work of art."

John Green is officially making his return to fiction.

The bestselling author behind beloved novels including The Fault in Our Stars, Looking for Alaska and Turtles All the Way Down has announced his first new novel in nine years.

Titled Hollywood, Ending the upcoming book will be released on Sept. 22, 2026, marking Green’s, 48, adult fiction debut and a new chapter in his celebrated writing career.

The novel follows young actors Kai Laramie and Juniper Castillo, who land starring roles in the highly anticipated biopic Andy Warhol Never Gets Old. As the film becomes a cultural sensation, the two rising stars find themselves navigating newfound fame, public attention and the complicated reality of having their private lives become part of the spotlight.

According to the publisher, the book explores the tension between a public persona and a private life, while examining how modern celebrity culture and social media have changed the way people experience attention and connection.

Green said he spent eight years developing the story before bringing Kai and Juniper to life.

"I've spent the last eight years finding my way through this story, and I am so excited to share Hollywood, Ending with the world," Green said in a statement.

The author added that the novel explores "the strange, complicated exchanges of attention and trauma of the social internet" and the challenge of finding meaningful relationships in an increasingly public world.

In addition to announcing the book, Green revealed a 20-city North American tour in support of Hollywood, Ending, giving fans the chance to see him discuss his long-awaited return to fiction.

Since the release of The Fault in Our Stars in 2012, Green has become one of the most influential authors of his generation. His books have sold more than 60 million copies worldwide, been translated into more than 60 languages and inspired film and television adaptations.

Released in 1975, "Lorelei" helped announce that Styx was becoming far more than another up-and-coming rock band.

The soaring ballad became one of the group's earliest radio successes after appearing on Equinox, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 and showcasing the melodic songwriting and dramatic arrangements that would soon become Styx trademarks. Nearly 50 years later, the band gave the song a fresh interpretation by re-recording it for its 2023 collection Regeneration: Volume 1.

Written by guitarist and vocalist James "JY" Young, "Lorelei" blends heartfelt lyrics about a man wanting to move in with his girl with a gradual musical build that has long made it a favorite among Styx fans.

"The idea of co-habitation was still looked down upon in the old-fashioned world that I was born into," Young told Songfacts. "My parents weren't happy about it, but they adapted. We moved in together and my better half decided we should make it legal, so we went to city hall and got married. That's a pretty standard notion for a rock song: A man writing about a woman that he's in love with."

Beginning with a restrained, melodic introduction before expanding into a soaring chorus filled with layered harmonies and powerful guitars, the song embodies many of the qualities that would later define the classic rock power ballad.

The original recording also marked an important step in the band's rise.

Following the success of "Lady," Equinox demonstrated that Styx could consistently produce memorable rock songs that balanced progressive influences with radio-friendly hooks. "Lorelei" became one of the album's standout tracks and helped pave the way for later classics such as "Come Sail Away," "Babe," "Renegade" and "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)."

In 2023, Styx decided to revisit that early chapter of its career.

The band recorded a new version of "Lorelei" for Regeneration: Volume 1, a collection featuring fresh recordings of several classic Styx songs performed by the current lineup, including vocals by James Young. That same year, the band recorded another updated version, featuring vocals by Lawrence Gowan, which appeared on Now Playing, a compilation album sold exclusively at the band's concerts, giving longtime fans another opportunity to experience the song while introducing it to newer audiences attending live shows.

Rather than dramatically reinventing the track, the 2023 recordings stay faithful to the spirit of the original while benefiting from modern production and the chemistry of the band's current lineup. The result is a respectful tribute that highlights just how well the song has aged over nearly five decades.

"I think there's always a thread of Styx talking about their surroundings and their world, and we adhere to it," Tommy Shaw told Ultimate Classic Rock. "The one thing we try to do is put hope in there. It's never disparaging -- there's always a silver lining.That always seems to be what we try to do."

Almost 50 years after it first climbed the charts, "Lorelei" continues to hold a special place in Styx's catalog. Its emotional melodies, dynamic arrangement and enduring appeal have made it one of the band's defining early songs.

The decision to re-record "Lorelei" 48 years after its debut is a testament to its lasting legacy. What began as one of Styx's earliest hits has endured as a soft rock anthem that continues to resonate with listeners across generations.

The Sex Pistols' song "No One Is Innocent" was banned by the BBC on July 13, 1978, two weeks after its release. 

By then, Johnny Rotten had already left the group, leaving fugitive Ronnie Biggs, who was wanted for his role in the 1963 Great Train Robbery, the next best to take over lead vocals.

The Sex Pistols had a habit of getting banned — this made three, after "God Save the Queen" and "Anarchy in the UK" were also blacklisted by the BBC. And with Sid Vicious gone too, Paul Cook and Steve Jones were the only original members left.

Biggs had helped plan the 1963 Great Train Robbery, walking away with a share of £2.6 million. His outlaw reputation only made him a better fit for the Sex Pistols' image. 

After being sentenced to 30 years in prison, he escaped from Wandsworth in 1965. He fled to Australia, then Brazil, which had no extradition treaty with the U.K. But that didn't mean he was free to live normally. 

Everyone knew who he was, so he couldn't hold a steady job, go to bars or stay out past 10 p.m.

Biggs made ends meet by hosting barbecues at his home, where tourists paid to meet the infamous fugitive. So when the Sex Pistols came looking for a singer, he didn't need much convincing.

Jones and Cook traveled to Brazil and recorded two tracks with Biggs, though only "No One Is Innocent" ever got an official release. 

Jones later told Mojo magazine, "Ronnie Biggs rated himself as a bit of a poet, and I remember sitting in the hotel room writing the music while he wrote the words. It was a big accomplishment, to write a song with an infamous train robber. That was a good move."

The single climbed to No. 7 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, staying in the Top 40 for 10 weeks. 

It's not hard to see why a taxpayer-funded broadcaster wanted nothing to do with a song led by a fugitive train robber. But at that point, the band had nothing left to lose.

Jones and Cook made the most of what was left of the Sex Pistols. And bringing in Biggs wasn't the only outlandish move they made — in the two and a half years the band stayed together, they pulled off a number of stunts.

One of the most notorious incidents came a year earlier, during Queen Elizabeth II's 1977 Silver Jubilee. That summer, the Sex Pistols released their anti-monarchy anthem "God Save the Queen."

To promote the single, their record label chartered a boat that carried the band down the Thames as they performed outside the Houses of Parliament.

The plan fell apart when police forced the boat to dock and arrested manager Malcolm McLaren along with most of the band's entourage. Arrests aside, the stunt paid off as the track reached No. 2 on the U.K. Singles Chart.

In the late 1960's, the Rolling Stones were shifting into a new direction as Keith Richards and Mick Jagger took over as songwriters and penned the baroque rock track "Lady Jane."

The track was released as part of their 1966 album Aftermath, which saw Jagger and Richards credited as songwriters on almost every track. While "Lady Jane" only landed at No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, it would undoubtedly become one of the band's and duo's standout tracks early in their careers.

The track has various rumors behind its inspiration, with some even claiming it's in reference to drugs like marijuana. Others believed its baroque style was in relation to King Henry VII's third wife, Jane Seymour. There's also the rumor of its having been about a woman Jagger was involved with at the time.

In The Rolling Stones: Fifty Years, it was reported that Jagger penned the track in early 1966 after reading the then-controversial 1928 book Lady Chatterley's Lover. Written by D.H. Lawrence, the book faced scrutiny and was banned due to its obscenity and the physical relationship between a working-class man and an upper-class woman. It's reported that "Lady Jane" was used by Jagger based on the term being used for female genitalia in the book.

"'Lady Jane' is a complete sort of very weird song. I don't really know what that's all about myself. All the names are historical, but it was really unconscious that they should fit together from the same period," said Jagger, according to SongFacts.

As the Rolling Stones shifted into a new era of their music, it also led Brian Jones to incorporate new sounds and instruments into their recordings. One instrument used in "Lady Jane" was the Appalachian dulcimer, a fretted string instrument.

"Brian was getting into dulcimer then because he dug Richard Farina. We were also listening to a lot of Appalachian music then too. To me, Lady Jane is very Elizabethan. There are a few places in England where people still speak that way, Chaucer English," explained Richards.

In Aftermath, Jones is heard playing the instrument on one other track, "I Am Waiting." The dulcimer in "Lady Jane" is also accompanied by Jack Nitzsche's harpsichord halfway through the song. The track proved to be a welcome detour for the band compared to their previously released tracks, and showcased their versatility as songwriters. Critics called the track a "tender, inventively melodic pledge of devotion."

She’s come a long way since being a So You Think You Can Dance contestant! Jenna achieved DWTS pro status in 2016, and has delighted fans with her two wins and marriage to fellow pro Val Chmerkovskiy (they share a son). In 2018’s Season 26, she triumphed with Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon. Jenna, 32, and The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei’s Season 33 win put DWTS back on the pop culture map in 2024.

9. Karina Smirnoff

Karina electrified DWTS over 18 seasons from 2006 to 2016. She finished first just once—in an emotional Season 13 pairing with army veteran/actor J.R. Martinez, who had been severely burned while serving in Iraq. Karina’s long list of partners also includes Mario Lopez, (the late) Aaron Carter, Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, and Ralph Macchio. She made them all strong contenders!

The Ukraine-born beauty gave the show additional heat with her brief engagement to fellow pro Maks Chmerkovskiy (they split in 2009). Karina, 48, exited the show after Season 22. She now judges and teaches dance and raises her son, who was born in 2020.

8. Witney Carson

After joining DWTS full-time in 2014, Witney has given fans moments to remember. She and partner Alfonso Ribeiro created an iconic “Carlton dance” inspired by his TheFresh Prince of Bel-Air character. In 2024, Witney and her Season 33 partner Danny Amendola’s jaw-dropping leg lift went viral.

Last year, Witney, 32, guided fan favorite wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin to a win that breathed youthful life into the resurgent show.

7. Tony Dovolani

He’s gone but not forgotten. Tony, now 52, rocked the first years of DWTS with spirit and style, competing in 21 consecutive seasons beginning with the second one in 2006. In 2012's first-ever "all-star" season, Dovolani grabbed his sole mirror ball with BacheloretteMelissa Rycroft. Tony showed impressive skill in steering such diverse partners as actress Jane Seymour, reality star Kate Gosselin, and singer Wynonna Judd.

For many seasons, DWTS wasn’t complete without Tony’s megawatt smile, but he left the show in 2018, candidly telling Hollywood Life about the celebrities, “when it becomes about other than teaching them how to dance, I want no part of it." However, he guested on DWTS for 2023’s tribute to the late judge Len Goodman.

6. Val Chmerkovskiy

When Val joined DWTS in 2011, he was best known as show pro Maks Chmerkovskiy’s little brother. But it didn’t take Val long to make his own impression. So far, he’s won three times—with Rumer Willis (Season 20), Laurie Hernandez (Season 23), and Xochitl Gomez (Season 32). Val, 40, has had a long run, appearing in 20 total seasons, and is coming back this fall for Season 35.

He takes his job seriously, telling Parade in 2022, “My niche on the show is to really take my partner on an educational journey, not just an emotional one. I really want to teach dance, not just perform an entertaining number for the cameras. That has always been my approach.”

5. Julianne Hough

Julianne and brother Derek (keep reading for more on him) soared to fame on DWTS and later graduated to other roles on the show. Although Julianne wasn’t a pro that long, from 2007 to 2009 (Seasons 4 through 8), she made a big impression, winning the mirror ball twice: with race car driver Helio Castroneves and speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno.

After becoming an actress, the beautiful blonde, 37, returned to the fold, serving as a DWTS judge from 2014 to 2017. In 2023, she joined Alfonso Ribeiro as co-host of the series.

4. Maks Chmerkovskiy

The Ukrainian hunk caused a sensation on the reality show with his smooth moves, brooding personality, and sheer swagger. “Dancing with the Stars is my show!” he once declared during a live broadcast shocker. (The next night, Maks backtracked, noting that his statement came out wrong and praising the entire cast).

Maks was one of the OG stars, first appearing on Season 2 and ultimately competing on 17 seasons. He only won the mirror ball once, with Olympic ice dance gold medalist Meryl Davis in 2014, but consistently held center stage, appearing in the finals five times.  

Maks, 46, announced his DWTS retirement in 2018. The dancer, who has three sons with wife Peta Murgatroyd, also a former DWTS pro, explained to MassLive, “I just don’t think I can do the show as a professional dancer at 100% and give it my all anymore. I am at a different point in my life.”

3. Mark Ballas

Esteemed dancer, choreographer, and musician Mark has never lost his cool factor while being a steady presence on the show (amid hiatuses) for 20 seasons since 2007. Mark, 40, won the original series three times: with celebrity Olympian partners Kristi Yamaguchi and Shawn Johnson and TikTok star Charli D'Amelio. Viewers are looking forward to Mark bringing his experience to The Next Pro.

2. Cheryl Burke

Cheryl helped the fledgling dance show get its legs by winning the mirror ball trophy back-to-back on 2006’s Seasons 2 and 3 with singer Drew Lachey and former football player Emmitt Smith. While Cheryl never achieved first-place glory again, she’s the pro with the longest tenure, competing on a staggering 26 seasons over 17 years. Now 42, she officially retired after Season 31.

“It is hard for me [to leave],” she wrote on Instagram. “I've had an amazing run. It's so sad. It's bittersweet."

Derek told Dear Media about his dance partner philosophy: “I’m here to serve. I’m here to be like, how can I bring the best out in you?” And judging by his wins, he did that better than anybody! But Derek’s camera-ready heartthrob looks and friendliness were as important as his trophies in making DWTS a ratings smash.  

After his pro retirement, Derek was a judge on NBC’s World of Dance. He became a DWTS judge in Season 29 in 2020 and has had a place at the table ever since.

A new Wall Street Journal article highlights Costco’s business model of paying employees above the minimum wage and how it sets them up for financial success. Cashier Tony Barzar, a longtime employee of the wholesale retail giant, earns $33 an hour, and his retirement savings total over $1 million. 

In 2009, the now 62-year-old’s family bought a three-bedroom, two-bath house with a pool. They’ve traveled to Europe twice since. “I didn’t think me and my family would reach where we sit now,” he said, reflecting on his thoughts growing up. “I could retire, but what would I do? Costco has been good to me.”

Costco has a reputation of paying its employees more than most U.S. retailers to help keep turnover low.  Barzar has been offered managerial roles throughout the years in the company, but says he’s happy with his current position. Aside from the money he earns, Barzar says Costco has provided him with flexibility and stability. He considered other jobs, specifically applying to be a firefighter several times, which was a disappointment. But he says Costco offered him professional growth. “It just gave me a sense of—don’t leave, ride this one out,” he said.

Daryl Hall & John Oates never expected their 1981 track "You Make My Dreams" to become one of their popular staples, thanks to its catchy tune and a pop culture resurgence.

The track has a few stories behind its creation, depending on who's telling the story. Reports claim the keyboard-driven classic was originally inspired by Hall's then-girlfriend, Sara Allen. "You Make My Dreams" is well-known for its iconic piano riff at the very beginning, and Hall once told The Sun that he wrote the track in his New York apartment with his Yamaha CP 30 piano.

He claims that the track "just spoke to me" and started singing the song's main lyrics of "You make my dreams come true". After getting the track started, he wondered if it was too happy a song, but soon realized that it simply "wrote itself."

Oates' recollection of the song differs when he spoke with SongFacts and claims it was a "happy accident" when he was jamming delta blues and Texas swing with an old friend in a dressing room and "all of a sudden into my head popped 'you make my dreams.' I just started singing it. I don't know why, but I did."

Regardless of its backstory, "You Make My Dreams" was released in April 1981 on their Voices album and reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also landed at No. 35 on the Mainstream Rock chart, but never managed to chart in the UK.

Oates even admitted in an NME interview that their manager didn't like the song and thought it was "too flowery" as a pop song. While Hall & Oates didn't see it as a major hit at the time, they agreed it's a feel-good anthem that appealed to everyone.

"It's a great song, simple as that. Good songs are good songs. They stand on their own, they can be stripped away of the production. A song is what happens when a writer sits down on their individual instrument and creates something out of nothing," said Oates.

"And there's magic involved and there's inspiration involved. 'You Make My Dreams Come True' represents a vibe, it represents a collaboration between myself and Daryl and the band in the studio in the '80s. Its simplicity and directness is where the charm lies in that song."

Decades later, "You Make My Dreams" gained a massive resurgence when used in the 2009 film (500) Days of Summer, where Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character has a dance scene in the middle of the street. Oates praised the film's use of the song and for it having taken on a life of its own ever since. In 2020, the track surpassed one billion streams since its 1981 release.

Since then, "You Make My Dreams" became a pop culture staple used in The Office, Glee, Step Brothers, and Ready Player One. It was even used before the 2009 movie in The Wedding Singer.

When the Television Academy announced its 2026 nominees on Wednesday, July 8, one name that stopped fans mid-scroll was Michael J. Fox, who earned a nomination for his guest role on Apple TV's Shrinking five years after stepping away from acting. For anyone who grew up watching him on Family Ties or as Marty McFly in Back to the Future, Fox's return to TV was welcome and this Emmy nom is gratifying.

The nomination is the 18th of Fox's career and his first in a decade. It recognizes his work as a Parkinson's patient who shares the screen with Harrison Ford, a pairing that put two of the most familiar faces in Hollywood inside the same frame. Variety calls the nomination the capstone of a comeback that began when Fox ended the retirement he had announced in 2020.

The way the role came about has become part of its appeal. Fox did not wait for an offer, and he did not test the waters with intermediaries. He called Shrinking co-creatorBill Lawrence himself and asked to be on the show. That phone call overturned Fox's retirement, and it gave the series a guest performance that Emmy voters could not overlook.

Fox has won five Emmys across a career that stretches back to the 1980s, when Family Ties made him a household name and he became the youngest lead-actor winner the awards had ever seen. Shrinking fared fairly well across the full slate of nominations categories, and Fox's recognition stood out as one of the morning's most discussed results.

A win this year would be Fox's sixth Emmy, arriving roughly 40 years after that record-setting first victory. Few careers offer bookends like that, and fewer still include a five-year silence between them.

Fox left acting on his own terms in 2020. He returned for one role, on one show, because he wanted to, and television's biggest awards body responded by putting his name back on the ballot for the first time in ten years. And while the performance earned the recognition, it's heartwarming for fans who've stuck with Fox since his Alex P. Keaton days to see a favorite nominated to be back on top.

As viewers and fellow celebrities mourn the loss of Jurassic Park star Sam Neill, the film's original director Steven Spielberg has shared his own tribute to the late film star.

In a statement shared with Variety, Spielberg said that he was personally "saddened" by the news of Neill's passing, acknowledging just how much the actor's work meant to Jurassic Park's success.

“I owe a debt of gratitude to Roger Donaldson, Gilliam Armstrong, Graham Baker and Phillip Noyce for casting Sam Neill in the roles in which he was so brilliant that brought him to my attention and led to his playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park,” Spielberg said.

“Sam was exceptionally collaborative,” the Jaws director continued. “It was a stretch for him to play a character who acted as though children were messy and smelly because this was the opposite of the loving father he was to his children."

“I adored making all the Jurassicmovies with him," Spielberg ended by saying. "Along with Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, we will always have our Jurassic family and Sam will never be forgotten by us or his many millions of fans around the world.”

News of Neill's death at 78-years-old came early Monday, with Neill's family sharing the tragic development on social media.

In the hours that followed, numerous friends, stars and colleagues of Neill shared their own mournful memories of Neill, calling him an talented actor and an incredible human being.

“Sam Neill was a deeply soulful and beautiful man," Jurassic World director posted on Instagram. "He was a friend and collaborator at a challenging time, and his strength gave us all strength. I’ll remember him for his tranquility, his love of wine, and for the calm assuredness he brought to his characters. It’s not every lifetime you get to befriend a legend. Forever grateful.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter, Zahara, is one step closer to dropping her father's last name.

Zahara, 21, is a busy college student, but she's taking the steps to remove "Pitt" from her name and permanently reclaim her identity as Zahara Jolie. In new court documents obtained by TMZ, Zahara has published notice of her petition in the Los Angeles Daily Journal once a week for four weeks. She has also called for anyone opposing the change to submit a written opposition before the final hearing, the website shared.

While the move may seem severe, it's actually one of California's requirements for a legal name change. She first filed her petition in June, hoping to change her name from Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie.

Zahara took the stage at a mother-daughter brunch for the Pearls of Purpose Foundation on Sunday, April 26, in Atlanta, where she was featured as the special guest. In her speech, the college student opened up about her relationship with her mother, as Jolie stood beside her.

“When asked to speak with you all today on the value of mother-daughter relationships, it felt challenging to find the words,” Zahara began, according to a video on Instagram. “Not challenging because I don’t value it, but because my mom and I have a unique, almost kindred, relationship that can be hard to put into words.”

“Our love for each other is a found one I was adopted at 6 months old and given some of the most special and loving people as my siblings, with a mom who raised us on the value of helping others, being kind, and always striving for growth as people,” Zahara continued. “These values may sound simple, but in a world where kindness is overlooked and helping others comes at a cost, I am grateful to have had a role model to show me what it looks like to be a decent human being.”

Zahara went on to refer to Jolie as “the most selfless, loving, and understanding woman who I get to call my mom.”

Where Does Zahara Go to College?

Growing up in the public eye has likely been challenging for Zahara, but the college student has thrived. She currently studies at Spelman College in Atlanta, where she’s majoring in psychology with a minor in educational studies.

In her speech, Zahara spoke about how much of a change going away to Spelman would be.

“Early on, I realized it would be challenging to include my mom and family in these worlds without being able to directly share the effects,” she said. “With the addition of the public life that we live, it can be hard to find those special and intimate moments without being overwhelmed with the many eyes that are on us.”

“This has never stopped my mom from being curious about all that I’m learning in and outside of my classrooms at Spelman and having many understandable questions about sorority life and my experiences,” Zahara continued. “My family embraces the newness and strives to understand these meaningful organizations in my life as I share my experiences.”

What Has Angelina Jolie Said About Parenting?

Back in 2017, Jolie spoke about how proud she is of all her children.

It’s been three long years, but KFC is finally making its fans’ dreams come true by bringing back a highly requested menu item that was sunset in 2023. That’s right, popcorn chicken is back for American customers, and they’re already over the moon about it.

Starting today, customers can once again get their hands on KFC’s popcorn chicken while supplies last. There are three ways to order the snackable chicken:

First up there is a 16-ounce serving of just popcorn chicken, served with four dipping sauces, for $10. If you want to turn it into a meal, there’s the popcorn chicken combo, which comes with six ounces of popcorn chicken, a medium order of fries, a medium drink, and one dipping sauce for $8.49. And then there’s the popcorn chicken big box, which comes with six ounces of popcorn chicken, two additional original recipe tenders, two dipping sauces, medium fries, a medium drink, and a chocolate chunk cookie for dessert, all for $10.99.

KFC has been teasing the return of popcorn chicken for days on social media, prompting Instagram commenters to write, “literally crying real tears at work rn i need it so bad,” and to ask, “have my prayers been answered?” One simply wrote in all caps, “DO NOT TEASE ME,” as another said, “Don’t toy with me.”

In fact, the last commenter has been so adamant about asking KFC to bring back the beloved menu item that the chain took her comments and turned them into a song ahead of the relaunch, captioning the video, “ngl kendra, your comments are kinda catchy.”

Cryptopsy just dropped surprising news for fans amid its busy 2026 touring schedule.

Fresh off a successful North American tour in May, the Canadian death metal band is bringing a series of intense live performances to more locations before the year ends.

In an Instagram update, the four-piece band composed of vocalist Matt McGachy, guitarist Christian Donaldson, bassist Olivier "Oli" Pinard and long-standing drummer Flo Mounier announced three new shows for this year’s Freak Fair Run.

Headlined by Cryptopsy, the run includes live shows in Ontario and Michigan scheduled for the last week of August featuring fellow death metal band Sentiment Dissolve on Aug. 28 and See You Next Tuesday and Flesh And Blood Robot on Aug. 30.

The update came months after the iconic band headlined the 2026 Decibel Magazine Tour.

Nearly 40 years after the release of Spaceballs, its highly anticipated sequel is coming to fruition.

The month of July means a number of exciting developments, including San Diego Comic-Con. The beloved annual event hosts a variety of upcoming films that use the convention halls to promote their content, and Spaceballs: The New One is included this year.

The Amazon MGM Studios release took to social media on Monday, July 13 to reveal an all-new teaser image ahead of its Comic-Con appearance.

Fans have already flooded the post's comments section with words of excitement for the upcoming release. "I saw Spaceballs in the theater when I was 6 and I've never been more excited for a sequel!" wrote one Instagram user, while another person commented, "i am too seated. the theater employees r scared rn."

Here's the comedic synopsis revealed by the studio on Monday: "Somehow, Dark Helmet has returned! Forty years after the events of the first Spaceballs, fifty years after the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, and one year after the events of The Devil Wears Prada 2, the galaxy is once again under threat. A threat so evil, so unstoppable, so completely lacking in any original ideas, that it has vowed to bring back the past… every last bit of it."

The synopsis continues, "With Lone Starr in hiding, Queen Vespa on the throne, and the Schwartz stretched thinner than a franchise releasing TV episodes theatrically, the only hope for the galaxy is Vespa's undisciplined son, Prince Starburst, and a mysterious Palace advisor named Destiny. Together, they must find Lone Starr, Yogurt, and any other iconic legacy characters fans are demanding before they discover the hard way that, while some threats you can fight, the reboot is not one of them.

The star-studded cast includes returning stars Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman and Mel Brooks.

At first glance, it's hard to imagine the words "Dwayne Johnson" and "Broadway" co-existing in the same sentence.

But if the former WWE champion had his way, he'd been strutting across the Great White Way of Broadway tomorrow opposite his recurring co-star Kevin Hart, as revealed in a recent interview with People magazine.

Speaking about his upcoming projects, Johnson specifically said he was hard at work on his Broadway debut, which could potentially see him team up with Hart in a brand-new production of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple.

“For the past two and a half to three years, we have been working on my Broadway debut,” the Moana star said. “I’m revealing it now because it’s tequila talking.”

Among the most well-loved of Neil Simon's many legendary comedies, The Odd Couple famously focuses on the antics of two mismatched best friends-turned-unlikely roommates who discover their differing personalities might threaten their new living situation.

The play was later turned into a 1968 film starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, as well as a long-running ABCsitcom starring Tony Randall and Jack Klugman.

Unfortunately for Johnson, Hart's busy schedule has thus far prevented him from appearing on Broadway, although Johnson maintains his hopes that they'll reunite soon.

“We should’ve been great. Kevin is my best friend. I love him to death, and the truth is he’s so booked for the next three to five years,” Johnson continued. “That’s his schedule, that’s a reality. I totally get it. And I love it and I respect him for that.”

Regardless, Johnson said that he plans on eventually expanding his repertoire to Broadway, whether alongside Hart or merely on his own.

“We do Jumanji, which we’ll promote that at the end of the year, but I’m not letting that dream go,” Johnson said.

“So we’ll see, but maybe it’s The Odd Couple with [Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller]. I don’t know, maybe it’s a musical and I could run around singing in keys that don’t exist,” the Jungle Cruise star went on to say. “I might do a little dance. I might snatch my waist a little bit. We’ll see.”

It was a family affair for rocker Jack White as his daughter, Scarlett White, joined him on stage to perform “Cannon,” “John the Revelator,” and “Black Math.”

Fans and fellow musicians couldn’t get enough of the father-daughter performance. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s wife, Jill Vedder, praised the moment in the comments, writing, “Yes @scarbarbar 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 dads cool too but you’re rad.” Musician Morgane Stapleton also shared her approval with a series of fire emojis, while Cat Power added several trophy emojis.

Fans loved seeing the pair share the stage, with one person commenting, “There aren’t many artists left these days who can deliver rock this raw and powerful. Truly a rare breed.”

Scarlett has already made her mark on her father’s music, contributing to Jack White’s surprise 2024 album No Name on the tracks “Archbishop Harold Holmes” and “Underground.” She previously joined him on stage during a 2025 show at New York’s Irving Plaza in support of the album.

Jack has also praised Scarlett’s musical abilities, previously referring to her as a great bassist. While she and her brother Henry have both developed their own musical talents, the rocker said he wants his children to follow their own creative paths.

“They are good musicians, both of them, and they come up with some really cool stuff,” Jack told Consequence in 2024. “They like doing their own thing, and I like them doing their own thing. So once in a while we might touch base here and there.”

Scarlett is just beginning to carve out her own creative path, with the 19-year-old pursuing both music and modeling in New York City. She recently celebrated her father’s birthday by sharing a sweet throwback video of the two of them enjoying an affogato together, captioning the post, “an old father daughter affogato tutorial. happy birthday dad i love you.”
