Lala Kent Tearfully Reveals She’ll Miss a Family Milestone Due to ‘The Valley’ Reunion Filming

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:51pm

The Valley star Lala Kent revealed that a part of her schedule as a Bravo personality conflicts with an upcoming milestone in her eldest daughter, Ocean's life.

While recording the June 8 episode of her podcast, Untraditionally Lala, alongside her brother, Easton Burningham, Kent shared that she's unable to attend Ocean's Transitional Kindergarten (TK) graduation because it coincides with The Valley's season 3 reunion.

"I just learned that Ocean's T-K graduation is on the exact same day that we film the reunion," said the former Vanderpump Rules star, who shares Ocean, 5, with her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett.

She then tearfully shared that she knows Ocean and her classmates are planning on singing a song about how "they started out as caterpillars, and now they are butterflies, like ready to fly away." Kent, who also has a 21-month-old daughter named Sosa, explained that she had an emotional response to the song because she feels as though Ocean's childhood is "just flying by so quickly."

In addition, she said that she is upset to miss this "really monumental moment" for work, especially because she has "had to miss out on things because of sharing [Ocean] with someone else."

Burningham assured Kent that he and their mother, Lisa Burningham, will be present and film at the T-K graduation. He also comforted his sister by telling her that she will be there for Ocean for so many of her future events.

The podcast clip was uploaded on the official Untraditionally Lala Instagram account. Several fans took to the post's comments section to share words of support and empathy for Kent.

"I’m so sorry. Mom guilt is so real and deep. You’re doing a great job. Your kids will know you love them. Just keep showing up for them and I promise, they’ll know. And it takes a village. If there’s someone else that she wants to invite, let her! They just want someone there," wrote a commenter.

"I’ve been a single mom since the birth of my son. Missing out on things is a terrible feeling. I’ve worked night shift or a flex schedule for most of his life just so I don’t have to miss as much. It’s a tough balance, I definitely feel your pain," added another.

"Awww sweetie, I totally get it. As a mom of 7 sons and I’m a working mom so I totally get it. Trust me, she knows you’re the best mommy ever! Don’t be so hard on yourself 💖💖💖💖," shared a different person.

Nancy Guthrie Update: Brian Entin Sets Record Straight on Savannah Hiring Private Investigator

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:48pm

Brian Entin just set the record straight regarding reports that Today co-host Savannah Guthrie hired a private investigator to search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, following her abduction in Tucson, Ariz.

On the Monday, June 8 episode of Brian Entin Investigates, the NewsNation senior investigative reporter refuted the claims.

"There's something I wanted to clear up. There was a report that Savannah Guthrie had hired private investigators—and I think the report said, like, spent $500,000 on private investigators," he acknowledged. "Which I was always very skeptical of. And I actually said on my show once before that I just had a hard time believing that because of the sources that I have. I think I would have heard that by now."

Entin added, "But the report kind of went everywhere. I saw a lot of people talking about it. And I have now confirmed that that is not true."

He then reiterated, "So that report, I am told, is not true. Savannah Guthrie did not spend $500,000 on private investigators. It is just the Pima County Sheriff's Office and the FBI that are investigating this case right now."

Additionally, Entin addressed Savannah's hopeful social media update over the weekend.

"It's just a reminder, again, what Savannah Guthrie is going through, what the Guthrie family is going through, what Annie is going through, what Camron is going through," he pointed out. "I mean, again, sometimes I get so wrapped up in the investigation and start tracing down all these little leads and bits and pieces of information that I find. Sometimes I also like to have a moment to remember that, you know, there's a family hurting right now."

Nancy, 84, has been missing since Feb. 1, after her family last saw her on the evening of Jan. 31. As of writing, no suspect has been named in the case despite the investigation dragging on for over four months.

See Carol Hathaway From 'ER' at 60

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:46pm

Happy birthday, Julianna Margulies. Celebrating one of the most enduring and respected careers on television, the former ER star turns 60 on June 8, 2026.

While she’s built an acclaimed career on some of TV’s most celebrated programs, including The Sopranos, The Good Wife, and The Morning Show, many fans still know Margulies best as Carol Hathaway, the compassionate nurse whose romance with George Clooney’s Dr. Doug Ross became one of ER’s most beloved storylines.

More than 30 years after ER premiered, Carol Hathaway remains one of television’s most memorable characters, and Margulies continues to introduce her work to new generations of viewers discovering the hit medical drama through streaming.

Over three decades after helping launch one of television’s biggest shows, Margulies celebrates her 60th birthday.

Julianna Margulies continues to work steadily on television, most recently as Reese Witherspoon’s love interest on Apple TV’s The Morning Show. Despite the pressure to stay young in Hollywood, Margulies has embraced getting older.

Speaking to Parade in 2021 about her memoir Sunshine Girl, Margulies shared her thoughts on aging, stating:

View this post on Instagram

“The one great thing we all have in common is that we’re all aging. And isn’t that a privilege? Because if we weren’t aging, we’d be dead. I choose to look at it on the bright side. I’m so much better at 54 than I was at 34. We all are because you’ve licked the wounds, you’ve gone through the fires. When I hear people complaining about getting older, I’m like, ‘Yeah, it sucks because maybe I can’t run as fast as I used to. And maybe my eyes are going, but I’d rather be enlightened and wear a pair of glasses than be completely blind to my own feelings.’”

What Happened to Carol Hathaway From ER?

For many television fans, Margulies will always be Carol Hathaway. As one of the original stars of ER, she appeared on the groundbreaking medical drama from 1994 to 2000, helping transform the series into a cultural phenomenon.

Her chemistry with George Clooney's Dr. Doug Ross became one of the show's defining relationships, and their romance remains a favorite among longtime viewers. Even decades later, Carol Hathaway continues to rank among the most beloved characters in the history of ER.

The enduring popularity of the series, coupled with its availability on streaming platforms, has allowed new audiences to discover Margulies’ breakout role while longtime fans revisit one of television’s most iconic dramas.

Julianna Margulies' Career After ER

Since leaving ER in 2000, Margulies has spent the next two-and-a-half decades starring in some of television’s most acclaimed series. Her portrayal of real-estate agent Juliana Skiff during the final stretch of The Sopranos from 2006 to 2007 showcased a dramatically different side of her talents.

She then took on what many consider the defining role of her post-ER career: Alicia Florrick on The Good Wife. During the show's seven-season run, Margulies earned widespread critical acclaim and established herself as one of television’s premier leading actresses.

Most recently, she became a key character in Seasons 2 and 3 of The Morning Show, portraying Laura Peterson, the love interest of Bradley Jackson, played by Reese Witherspoon.

What Julianna Margulies Is Doing Now

In every role, Margulies has demonstrated a remarkable ability to portray complex, compelling characters. From Carol Hathaway to Alicia Florrick to Laura Peterson, she has remained a commanding presence on some of television’s most talked-about programs.

While her career has continued to evolve far beyond ER, it is Carol Hathaway who remains closest to the hearts of many fans. More than 30 years after audiences first met the dedicated nurse in a Chicago emergency room, the character’s impact endures.

At 60, Julianna Margulies shows no signs of slowing down. And for the millions of viewers who still remember Carol Hathaway and Dr. Doug Ross, she remains as captivating as ever.

1972 Hard Rock Anthem Is Suddenly Climbing the Charts 54 Years After Hitting No. 1

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:36pm

When the final bell rings, there are only four words that matter: School’s out for summer. Ushering in a wave of freedom and feeling of glee that never fades, Alice Cooper’s rebellious rock anthem takes a victory lap every June, marking the unofficial kickoff of summer. And now, 54 years after its release, the title track is climbing the charts again.

Over on Billboard’s Hard Rock Digital Song Sales, the glam rock staple climbed from the eighth position to No. 5 for the week of June 6. Debuting at No. 13 and peaking at No. 2 in 2023, the song has proven a valiant favorite with staying power lasting 42 weeks. The three-tick jump this week is remarkable considering the track was released during the Nixon administration, yet it still somehow finds a way to show out on the chart around summertime.

Released in April 1972 as a single before arriving in June on School’s Out, the track sprouted from a simple question: What are the greatest three minutes of your life? According to Songfacts, Cooper chose Christmas morning and the last day of school as the only suitable answers. Citing The Who’s “My Generation” as musical inspo, he and his band got to work composing what would become their signature hit and a timeless teenage anthem.

"When we did 'School's Out,' I knew we had just done the national anthem,” he toldEsquire in 2008. “I've become the Francis Scott Key of the last day of school.”

Written by Cooper with his guitarist Michael Bruce, “School’s Out” peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, spending 13 weeks on the chart. In the U.K., however, it shot straight to the top, where it stayed for three weeks. The album, meanwhile, hit No. 1 in Canada and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. It’s the artist’s best-performing song behind 1989’s “Poison,” which also peaked at No. 7, but spent 19 weeks charting.

Since its release, filmmakers have had a field day injecting the anthem into their movies. From Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979) and Dazed and Confused (1993), to Scream (1996) and I Love You, Beth Cooper (2009), the track has been the go-to for coming-of-age flicks and bildungsroman tales. Cooper even credits cinema with the title and concept of the song, reportedly sharing that a line from the The Bowery Boys film series from the ’40s and ’50s — “Hey Sach, school’s out,” expressed as slang for, “Wise up” — was the foundation for the classic hit.

"School's Out" is by far Cooper's most popular song from the '70s and a concert staple. A commercial and critical milestone, the track marked the glam rockers’ shift from cult shock to mainstream provocateurs. Now, more than five decades later, its rebellious spirit remains a smash, finding a new audience with every ding of the final bell. A’s across the board.

'Wheel of Fortune' Fans Resurface Footage of Late Celebrity Contestant Following Unexpected Death at 41

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:29pm

While the world continues to mourn the loss of NASCAR legend Kyle Busch, Wheel of Fortune fans are fondly remembering his recent appearance on the show.

Just three months prior to his unexpected death at the age of 41 on May 21, Busch appeared on the beloved game show during its NASCAR week in February. Along with fellow racers Joey Logano and Christoper Bell, Busch was teamed up with a contestant on the show in the hopes of helping them win big.

In the wake of his death, fans are now looking back at footage of Busch's appearance in the wake of his death, remembering the joy he brought to the WOF set and to all the viewers watching at home.

One user on Reddit shared a clip from the Feb. 13 episode with Busch after his death last month, where tons of other fans online flocked to the comments to express their condolences and reminisce on Busch's warm and cheerful presence.

"Wow, just nice to see that video again, RIP Kyle, Rowdy, Busch," one user wrote.

Another user added, "R.I.P. I saw this show. I'm not a big fan of racing but glad I saw this."

Even the contestant who was paired with Busch for the game, a man by the name of Ray Kase, chimed in on the post to share his experience of having Busch as a teammate.

Kase revealed that as Busch was leaving the set, he gifted him a collectible car replica, as well as a hat and a signed photo.

"I also got to keep the shirt that he gave me," he wrote, while adding, "Thanks to Wheel for having me on the show and allowing me to meet Kyle."

Busch died just a few months after the episode aired due to pneumonia that progressed into sepsis, "resulting in rapid and overwhelming associated complications," according to the statement released by his family.

Busch is survived by his brother Kurt Busch, his wife Samantha and their two young kids, son Brexton and daughter Lennix.

Following the news of his death, the official Wheel of FortuneInstagram account shared a tribute to Busch that read, "Ryan [Seacrest], Vanna [White], and the entire Wheel family is saddened to hear of the passing of Kyle Busch. The 'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion' Sequel Is Finally Happening — and It's Coming to Hulu

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:25pm

A ‘90s cult classic movie is making a comeback! 20th Century Studios just revealed that a sequel to Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion is officially in production. And while there’s no release date as of now, here’s what we do know.

The 1997 film’s dynamic duo, Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow, are reprising their iconic roles in the sequel. News of the next chapter for the quirky, fun-loving BFFs broke last year, with industry insiders announcing that a deal was in the works. And then… silence. That is, until now.

On Monday, 20th Century Studios posted a pic of two blondes holding hands (on Instagram) while sitting in ‘Romy and Michele 2’ director's chairs. Presumably, we’re looking at Sorvino and Kudrow on set. The production company also tagged both actresses, Disney+, and Hulu.

View this post on Instagram

Unlike the original, the sequel won’t get a theatrical release. Instead, as the Instagram post implies, fans can catch the film’s follow-up on the small screen. Viewers can watch Romy and Michele 2 exclusively on Hulu. Bundle subscribers can also watch the made- for-Hulu original on Disney+.

Reportedly, actors Allan Cumming, Janeane Garofalo, and Julia Campbell will also return, along with newcomers to the film franchise (not to Hollywood) Keegan-Michael Key, Nathan Lee Graham, Patrick Warburton, and Breckin Meyer.

Sorvino gushed on Instagram, “It’s finally happening. Bursting with joy to be ‘reunited!’.” Fans, friends, and a few famous faces also took to social media to applaud the sequel. Actress Olivia Munn wrote, “Be still my heart,” and one commenter joked, “Folding scarves til release day.”

Sorvino teased the upcoming film last October, saying in an interview, “We had so much fun. I love Lisa. We’re dear friends to this day. We’re very much looking forward to doing the sequel.”

As it turns out, the initial success of the 1997 hit was somewhat of a surprise to Romy and Michele’s writer and co-executive producer, Robin Schiff. Schiff opened up to Vanity Fairin 2017 about the amazing reception Romy and Michele got when they made their first onscreen appearance: “I’m standing in the theater going, why? I’m still fascinated what made them applaud just by seeing them.”

Get ready for just as many laughs from the sequel. Schiff returns as the writer. While David Mirkin directed the original, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’Tim Federle will helm the sequel.

1963 Soul Ballad, Made Famous by a Legendary Rock Band, Became a Timeless Rock Anthem

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:18pm

Rock fans may instantly recognize one of the Rolling Stones' earliest breakthrough hits. Before becoming a rock staple, the song was first recorded by a jazz trombonist whose version failed to make the charts.

"Time Is on My Side" was released in 1963 as a rhythm and blues track originally written by Jerry Ragavoy. It's his most famous penned song, among hits like "Get Happy" and Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart." That year, it was first released and recorded by Kai Winding, a Danish-American jazz trombonist, with singers Dee Dee Warwick, Dionne Warwick, and Cissy Houston.

The original version of the song had moderate success but failed to chart. It was later covered by R&B singer Irma Thomas, with Jimmy Norman writing new lyrics about an ex-lover.

"Time Is on My Side" became a notable hit a year after the track's initial release when it was taken up by the Rolling Stones in 1964. According to American Songwriter, Ragavoy received a call about a British band that he had never heard of wanting to record the track. He agreed, hoping it would bring new life to the song.

"Next thing I know,” he said, "it’s out and it’s their first hit in this country. I was amazed. I listened to it and thought, ‘What on earth is this?'"

The Rolling Stones released two different versions of the track, with the first using an organ-only intro and guitars instead of horns to create a rock anthem. Their version of "Time Is on My Side" peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, their first to do so on that U.S. chart, and landed at No.6 on Cash Box. The song became a radio staple and was then re-released with a new arrangement.

Their second version is what most rock fans have come to love, which received the most airplay from radio stations. It's often included in the band's "best of" compilation albums and tagged as having been a staple during the British Invasion.

“In America,” said Keith Richards, “we were basically known for heavy, slowish kind of ballads. ‘Time Is On My Side,’ ‘Tell Me,’ ‘Heart of Stone,’ that was what we were known for. Strangely enough, that was our thing. Every single was a slow song. Who would believe it? You’d think they’d be clamoring for out-and-out rock and roll, but no, it was the soul ballads that happened for us in America.”

The song has since become a cover staple by artists like Michael Bolton, Blondie, Patti Smith, and even the Moody Blues. It was even been popualr in pop culture, being used in theDenzel Washington-led cult classic thriller film, Fallen, where the song becomes key to the overall plot.

Why Anthony Bourdain's Legacy Matters

While Bourdain may be gone, his impact on the culinary world and humanity as a whole absolutely is not. In fact, his legacy of radical curiosity and openness is probably more important now than ever. After all, we live in vastly disconnected times, fraught with divisiveness, pain and loneliness. Bourdain lived his life as a prime example of how to connect with others, how to learn about the world around you and, most of all, how to love with your whole chest.

In honor of Anthony Bourdain's memory, consider doing something out of your comfort zone tonight. Sit at your local bar and strike up a conversation with the stranger sitting on the barstool next to you. Reconnect with a friend you lost touch with. Try a cuisine you've never experienced before. Really, just be open-minded. It's what Tony would have done.

The 4 Most Genuine Birth Dates

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 6:01pm

Having one true friend outweighs the value of a million superficial acquaintances. A genuine person embodies authenticity—what you see is exactly what you get. These individuals are heartfelt and sincere, and their words always align with their actions, inspiring trust in everyone around them. Numerology highlights four dates that are most often strongly aligned with naturally genuine people. Those born on these dates are unapologetically themselves, confidently living by their own values and refusing to seek validation from others.

Which Birth Dates Are Most Likely to Be Genuine People?

Check for your birth date; disregard birth months.

Born on the 6th - Warm, Sincere, Magnetically Devoted

Those born on the 6th day of any month possess a natural magnetism and exude genuine warmth. This characteristic can be traced back to their planetary ruler, Venus, known as the planet of love and connection. Highly focused on relationships, they give their attention genuinely and never lightly. Their caring nature is sincere; they nurture others not because they seek approval, but because it is an intrinsic part of who they are. While they can calm your nerves with kind words, they will also stand fiercely by your side when it comes to addressing injustices. You can always count on them to keep promises.

Born on the 18th - Fiercely Honest, Passionately Real

People born on the 18th possess a fiery resilience and are filled with passion. This makes sense, as they are ruled by the warrior planet Mars. They tend to be very direct in their communication, so you can always count on them to express their opinions clearly. Their bold love is unmistakable. For those they care about, they make their devotion evident and will go above and beyond to demonstrate it. Ultimately, their genuineness shines through in their honesty. Rather than comfort you with a lie, they build meaningful connections through authentic truth. They will be there to lift you up when you are down, inspiring you with their unwavering commitment to your personal growth.

Born on the 20th - Emotionally Transparent, Openly Feeling

People born on the 20th take pride in their emotional intelligence. These sensitive empaths are powerfully influenced by the Moon, the ultimate symbol of intuition. They possess a remarkable ability to understand others' needs. Faking how they feel isn't their forte. When they feel sad, hurt, or upset, it's written all over their face. Since their emotions are so vulnerable, like an open book, there’s no place for pretense or indifference in their life. Therefore, this birth date is known to embrace their innermost truths and heartfelt desires. Driven by deep emotions, they are committed to living lives rooted in emotional honesty and authenticity.

Born on the 25th - Deeply Self-Aware, Quietly Authentic

People born on the 25thare genuine and don’t feel the need to hide their emotions. Ruled by Neptune, the planet of higher vision, they often come across as daydreamers with big hearts. These folks are all about bringing unity and idealistic dreams to life. Since they spend many hours each week in deep reflection, they're acutely aware of their deepest longings and emotional needs. They're so in touch with who they truly are, they don’t bother with pretending. Their authenticity shines through as they choose to live in their own truth rather than perform for others. While they know how to sweeten their delivery when needed, their morals and actions are reliable.

1978 Classic Ballad, Named No. 1 Hit Song for Three Weeks, Became a Soft Rock Anthem

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 5:41pm

In 1978, Michael Johnson released a ballad that perfectly captured the heartbreak of a relationship coming to an end.

"Bluer Than Blue" resonated with listeners through its emotional honesty and memorable melody, becoming the biggest hit of Johnson's career and one of the most beloved soft rock songs of its era.

The song proved especially successful on adult contemporary radio.

"Bluer Than Blue" spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart, cementing its status as one of the format's defining hits of the late 1970s. It also crossed over successfully to pop audiences, helping introduce Johnson to a national audience.

Written by Randy Goodrum, the song tells the story of a man trying to convince himself that life will improve after a breakup, only to reveal through the lyrics that he is deeply devastated by the loss.

That emotional contrast became one of the song's most memorable qualities.

As the narrator lists the freedoms he will supposedly enjoy after his partner leaves, the listener gradually realizes that each benefit only highlights the loneliness he is feeling. By the time the song reaches its conclusion, the heartbreak becomes impossible to ignore.

The track appeared on Johnson's album, The Michael Johnson Album, which helped establish him as one of the leading singer-songwriters of the soft rock era. Although Johnson had already built a respected career as a musician, "Bluer Than Blue" became his breakthrough commercial success.

"I thought 'Bluer Than Blue' was slightly too mature for the type of audience the record company believed it was going to affect," Johnson said in a 1978 interview. "I'm glad that I was wrong."

The song's popularity was driven by its relatable lyrics and Johnson's understated vocal performance, which conveyed vulnerability without becoming overly dramatic. That approach helped distinguish the recording from many of the power ballads of the period. For as emotional as the lyrics were, they surprisingly did not come from Goodrum's own lived experience.

"It's a premise," Goodrum told Songfacts in a 2008 interview. "I try to synthesize a person or a character, and try to empathize, or become that person. I don't really relate to that personally in my life. I mean, 'Bluer Than Blue,' when I wrote that I'd never been left by anybody. I sort of method act as a songwriter, or if somebody I'm writing with has got issues or some problem, I'll try to be an emotional vampire and just drink it in."

Over the decades, "Bluer Than Blue" has remained a fixture on soft rock and adult contemporary playlists. Its themes of loss, reflection and resilience continue to connect with listeners long after its original chart run.

The song also helped pave the way for Johnson's later success, including country and adult contemporary hits that followed in the years ahead.

More than 45 years after it first climbed the charts, "Bluer Than Blue" remains one of the signature songs of the soft rock era.

For many fans, it stands as a reminder of a time when thoughtful songwriting and emotional storytelling could turn a simple breakup song into a timeless anthem.

Yacht Rock Royalty Turns 82 Today

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 5:34pm

If being smooth were a sport, Boz Scaggs would have retired with a shelf full of trophies. The legendary singer-songwriter and guitarist has been curating the mood way longer than algorithms have been curating playlists.

Born in Canton, Ohio, on June 8, 1944, Scaggs spent his childhood down south, primarily in Oklahoma and Texas, before ultimately setting up shop in the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue music. Little did he know then that he would go on to become one of the architects of the smooth rock genre dubbed “yacht rock.”

View this post on Instagram

In the 1970s, Scaggs helped define the landscape of soft rock. Often mentioned alongside yacht rock captains Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, and Christopher Cross, his influence runs wide and deep. In fact, his polished vocals, jazzy phrasing, and West Coast studio sheen have long helped bridge genres, first with the Steve Miller Band, then breaking through solo with Silk Degrees.

Released in 1976, Silk Degrees became a blueprint for the subgenre and the artist’s defining moment. Scaggs' seventh record, it showcased future members of Toto as session musicians and shot up to No. 2 on the Billboard 200. It also produced a string of genre-defying hits, from the infectious and Grammy-winning “Lowdown” to the upbeat radio staple “Lido Shuffle” to the heartfelt ballad “We’re All Alone,” later covered by Rita Coolidge for a No. 1 hit.

Beyond Silk Degrees, Scaggs has crafted a catalog defined by range and sophistication: “We’re All Alone” taps into emotional heft, “Jojo” leans into smooth jazz and R&B, and “Breakdown Dead Ahead” delivers radio-ready pop rock. Even his cinematic ballad, “Look What You’ve Done to Me,” stretched the artist into soundtrack territory.

Though Scaggs is not strictly labeled yacht rock, he is widely considered part of the subgenre’s inner circle, with Silk Degrees often cited as a foundational influence on the easy-breezy sound. His collaborations and session work have helped build the foundation on which yacht rock’s biggest names sail, with “Lowdown” always bobbing to the top of yacht rock playlists and rankings.

Now celebrating 50 years of Silk Degrees, Scaggs continues to share his celebrated discography with the world. Come this fall, he’s hitting the road, stopping along the West Coast and in Southern states, for his Rhythm Review 2026 Tour. Until then, we wish you smooth sailing and a happy birthday, Boz!

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Split After 3 Years Together

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 5:26pm

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have reportedly ended their relationship after nearly three years together.

TMZ broke the news on Monday, June 8, reporting that the couple quietly split several months ago.

Sources told the outlet that the breakup was amicable and that Grande and Slater remain friends who are "very supportive" of one another. According to the report, the pair gave the decision "careful consideration" before ultimately deciding to end their relationship.

Grande's upcoming album, Petal, set for release on July 31, is reportedly not about her relationship with Slater or their breakup.

Grande and Slater first met while filming Wicked in 2022, and news of their relationship became public in July 2023. At the time, the couple faced intense public scrutiny, as both had recently separated from their respective spouses, Dalton Gomez and Lilly Jay. Slater also shares a 3-year-old son with Jay.

However, sources close to the pair told TMZ back in 2023 that they did not begin dating until after both marriages had ended.

Grande and Slater have been the subject of breakup speculation before, namely during the Wicked: For Good press tour last fall, but neither publicly addressed those rumors, either.

The reported split comes as Grande kicked off her Eternal Sunshine tour this past weekend. So far, Slater has not been spotted at any of the shows.

Neither Grande nor Slater has publicly commented on the breakup.

'The Last of Us' Halts Filming Midway Through Season 3 and Fans Have Thoughts

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 5:11pm

Fans eager to return to the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us may have to exercise a little more patience.

Production on the HBO hit's highly anticipated third season has reportedly paused midway through filming, sparking plenty of speculation among viewers online. ScreenRant reported on Sunday, June 7, that according to the Director's Guild of Canada's latest British Columbia production list, The Last of Us is on hiatus from June 1 through June 28.

While the word "hiatus" is enough to raise some eyebrows, it doesn't appear that the series is facing any major setbacks. Filming on Season 3 began on March 2 and is still expected to wrap on November 27 as originally planned.

As for the reason behind the temporary production break, some viewers believe it may have to do with the logistics of filming in Vancouver. The city is set to host several matches during the upcoming FIFA World Cup, leading fans to theorize that scheduling conflicts could be at play.

“What's this lame excuse that justifies this ??” one X user asked.

One Redditor noted, “FIFA-related likely, as most of the filming was occuring downtown Vancouver.”

Others stated they hope the show doesn’t return.

“Don't come back. This series died in the first season,” an X user wrote.

Another said, “This series turned into a total joke, a complete mess—I even dropped it myself.”

Of course, a few weeks off isn't exactly uncommon in television production. Cameras are still expected to roll again before the month is out, even if the wait for Season 3 feels a little longer than expected.

IKEA Is Selling New $5 Stoneware Plates With the Most Gorgeous Scandi Detailing

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

The funny thing about dishes is that they do a lot more work than just hold your food. The plate you pull from the cabinet can completely change the feel of a meal before anyone even takes a bite. A casual dinner party might call for oversized stoneware that feels relaxed and a little rustic, while Sunday brunch practically begs for lighter colors, playful patterns, or something that makes avocado toast look extra photogenic. When the menu shifts, the dishes often do too.

For instance, if you're serving a cozy bowl of soup or pasta, you might lean towards deeper, moodier dinnerware that exudes warm and comforting vibes. On the flip side, fresh summer salads, fruit-heavy lunches and lighter meals look even fresher on bright colors or airy, seasonal pieces. It isn't exactly science, but presentation absolutely changes how a meal feels.

STRIMMIG Plate, $4.99 at IKEA

IKEA

Shop It!

That's part of the fun of collecting different dishes over time, not because you need dozens of sets, but because switching things up can make a random Tuesday dinner feel more in line with your mood. IKEA is now selling its STRIMMIG plates individually rather than a four-pack, and I can't wait to buy exactly five for my family's dinner table.

These sturdy stoneware plates come in a calming, light green-gray hue, but what's super special about them is the border pattern that's inspired by Scandinavian flora. At first glance, it just looks like a regular ribbed pattern, but then you get closer and realize it's more intricate than that.

At 10.5 inches in diameter, these dishes are perfect for everyday use. They're large enough for full meals, unlike smaller side plates, which are best for appetizers or snacks.

As previously mentioned, the STRIMMIG plates were sold as a four-pack, but IKEA is phasing them out as a "Last Chance" offer. Going forward, you'll only be able to purchase them individually, which I personally prefer because this way, if one breaks, you aren't on the hook for buying a whole other set.

IKEA shoppers adore this dinnerware, impressed by both the design and color.

"Love these dinner plates," says a customer in their review. "They are such a pretty color and I love that they are both dishwasher and microwave safe."

Cheers to stylish table settings with easy cleanup options.

Attention Parents: Netflix Is About To Lose One of Its Best Kid-Friendly Movie Series

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 4:46pm

If you were hoping for a fun movie night with the kids, there’s no doubt that the Madagascarmovies will be up there. The bad news is that all three movies are about to leave Netflix.

What’s on Netflix released the list of movies and shows exiting the streaming platform in July, and the three movies will be removed on July 1, 2026. That means June 30 is the last day when you can watch all three.

‘Madagascar’ Is Another Casualty of Changing Licensing Deals

Netflix doesn’t have much control over the third-party content on the platform. It’s beholden to agreements, and the agreement to stream Madagascar and its two sequels, as well as the spinoff Penguins of Madagascar movie, is coming to an end. Yes, it looks like the deal was just for two months.

There isn’t a named streamer to watch the popular family-friendly movies after this. As they are DreamWorks Pictures, it’s possible that they could go to Peacock, as both are owned by the same company. For now, the only way to watch in July is by purchasing them on DVD or Digital.

It gives you three weekends to work your way through the four movies in the franchise. You've got time!

DreamWorks Pictures

The ‘Madagascar’ Franchise Remains Fun for the Family

Trying to find movies that are suitable for the whole family isn’t always easy, but we can usually rely on DreamWorks movies. These animated masterpieces are designed with suitable storylines for children while offering humor for the adults.

The franchise got off to a tremendous start in 2005 when it grossed $558 million worldwide on a budget of just $75 million. Ben Stiller voiced Alex, with Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, and Jada Pinkett Smith voicing Marty, Melman, and Gloria, respectively. Of course, the penguins became a popular side part, very much like the squirrel in Ice Age and the minions in Despicable Me, and so they got their own movie.

It all starts with a group of animals finding themselves stranded on Madagascar. That shouldn’t be a problem, except that they have spent their whole life in Central Park Zoo. And so, in the first movie, they spend their time getting used to their new environment, and then go off on other adventures in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted.

All three movies from 2005, 2008, and 2012 will leave the streamer together. Penguins of Madagascar, which came out in 2014 and features the popular penguin spies, leave on the same day.

I Finally Ordered the Pizza Cupcakes From ‘Shark Tank’—Here’s My Honest Review

Mon, 06/08/2026 - 4:44pm

If you know me, then you know that I love watching Shark Tank, especially to find new food brands. It’s kind of like going to the Sweets & Snacks Expo or the Fancy Food Show without having to leave the comfort of your couch. You get an inside look at the buzziest new food brands that hope to become household names—or, at the very least, your new favorite freezer staples.

From Bantam Bagels and Pipcorn to Brazi Bites and Kodiak Cakes, the sharks have helped skyrocket some of my favorite brands, landing them squarely in my shopping cart. However, there is one brand that I don't think we're talking about enough, and it’s high time we change that.

Incredifulls, originally pitched as Pizza Cupcakes in the tank, were an immediate buy for me when they first graced my screen. Up until recently, though, I hadn’t had them again since I was influenced to order them nearly five years ago.

Today, Incredifulls are available in the freezer section in over 3,400 grocery stores across the country. Naturally, I had to spin the block and see if this pizza product was still as good as I remembered it. Keep reading to find out more about the Pizza Cupcake.

What Is Special About Pizza Cupcakes?

Courtesy Kenn C. Bivins

It’s hard to describe exactly what it is that makes a Pizza Cupcake special, but I’ll try to distill it into a coherent string of words as best I can. Aside from the quality of the toppings and the general ease of preparation, the secret sauce to the Pizza Cupcake is the delectable sourdough-brioche hybrid shell. It’s a conundrum of textures, and it tastes like it was made fresh straight out of the oven. It’s buttery and rich but also light enough that you won’t feel guilty about eating three at a time. Honestly, you could fill this dough with anything and it would taste amazing.

What Happened to Pizza Cupcakes After ‘Shark Tank’?

Courtesy Kenn C. Bivins

Co-founders and spouses Andrea Meggiato and Michelle Jimenez walked into the tank hoping to secure a $125,000 investment for a modest 5 percent equity stake in their business. They ended up walking away with a deal that would change the trajectory of their business forever. Although they had already found success on their own, getting an investment from a shark meant access that would eventually put them in grocery store freezers across the country. After a round of tough negotiations, Meggiato and Jimenez ended up landing a deal with Lori Greiner, who also notably helped Bantam Bagels become a household name.

Aside from a huge jump in sales after the show, the Pizza Cupcake found its way to the freezer aisle at grocers like Kroger, Target, Walmart and even Costco. They’ve also changed their name from Pizza Cupcake to Incredifulls, indicating that the brand has plans to stuff their mouthwatering cupcakes with even more exciting fillings.

What Can You Order From Pizza Cupcakes?

Courtesy Kenn C. Bivins

When it first launched in 2018, Pizza Cupcakes only had two flavors: Margherita and Pepperoni. Today, they’ve expanded to add a third breakfast-inspired flavor: Egg and Cheese. This newer addition to the lineup still uses the same proprietary sourdough-brioche hybrid, but it gets stuffed with creamy eggs, sharp cheddar and everything bagel seasoning. Unfortunately, you can only find the Egg and Cheese flavor at select grocers, but you can order the Margherita and Pepperoni flavors directly through the Incredifulls website.

I Tried Pizza Cupcakes—Here's My Honest Review

Courtesy Kenn C. Bivins

To be completely honest, this wasn’t exactly my first time trying Pizza Cupcakes. I actually tried them for the first time back in 2021 after watching the founders pitch their brand on Shark Tank. Right after watching the episode, I placed an order online for what was then called a “Treat Yo Self Pack” of 12 Margherita Pizza Cupcakes, and I patiently waited for my treasure to arrive.

Due to the overwhelming response from being on the show and lingering COVID logistics, it took an entire month for them to reach me. It also cost me a whopping $38.99, including shipping.

When they finally made it to my doorstep, I couldn’t wait to try them, and as anticipated, I was highly impressed. But as dazzled as I was, I couldn’t justify paying nearly $40 again for a freezer find—even if it was seriously delicious.

With that in mind, when I found out you could find them at Target, I jumped at the opportunity to grab a box and see if they were actually as good as I remembered. Spoiler: they absolutely were. After grabbing a 4-pack box of Margherita Incredifulls (as they’re now called) for $3.49, I popped them into the oven for about 13 minutes. They emerged from the oven golden and bubbling with melty mozzarella, and I couldn’t even wait for them to cool all the way down before digging in.

At first bite, you get a hit of zesty oregano followed by oozy mozz and a vibrant marinara sauce, but what really seals the deal is the sourdough-brioche hybrid cup all the ingredients are stuffed into. It somehow manages to be both crispy and flaky, buttery and melt-in-your-mouth good all at once. It’s truly a trip for the taste buds.

That being said, if I had to make any changes, I’d ask for a little more sauce. They don’t exactly eat dry, but similar to how a mozzarella stick is better dipped in marinara sauce, these would be too. Luckily, that’s an easy fix if you keep a jar of Rao’s on hand like yours truly.

So, what’s the TL;DR of it all? If you’re lucky enough to find them in the freezer section of your local grocery store, you should definitely stock up.

Would I Buy It Again?

Yes.

How To Order Pizza Cupcakes

Fortunately, in addition to ordering Pizza Cupcakes directly through the Incredifulls website, you can also order them from your favorite grocers like Target and Kroger. You can also get them delivered straight to your door through Gopuff if you live in one of its delivery areas.
