Airbnb Just Dropped Exclusive FIFA World Cup 2026 Experiences—And You Can Train With a Soccer Legend
If you're one of the millions of soccer fans currently counting down the days until the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off across North America, your tournament travel plans just got a major upgrade. Airbnb just unveiled its highly anticipated 2026 Summer Release, and while the tech giant is rolling out a massive suite of app upgrades, the real showstopper for sports fans is a lineup of exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime World Cup experiences scattered across key host cities.
Instead of just booking a standard place to crash between matches, travelers can now use the app to secure unprecedented access to soccer royalty. The standout offerings include an intimate Los Angeles watch party hosted by World Cup Champions Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy as the USA takes on Australia. Even more jaw-dropping for die-hard fans? You can actually step onto the pitch to train directly with Argentine football icon and former manager of Inter Miami, Javier Mascherano.
The sports-centric drop lands alongside a much broader, permanent evolution for the company. Airbnb is actively expanding far beyond simple home rentals to become a full-service travel concierge, introducing highly practical, built-in services to handle the exact logistical headaches that typically stall group trips.
Airbnb Unveils Major Changes Coming Ahead of the Summer Season.
Starting this season, you can coordinate grocery delivery directly through the app via Instacart to have your kitchen pre-stocked with snacks before you even grab the keys. You can also arrange discounted airport pickups through Welcome Pickups—complete with a driver who tracks your flight and meets you curbside—and map out nearby luggage storage locations with Bounce if you have a few hours to kill between checkout and your flight. Even car rentals are being absorbed right into the booking flow, giving you custom vehicle recommendations based on your group size alongside an introductory 20% credit back toward a future stay.
"Travel shouldn’t just be convenient. It should be meaningful. The best trips help you explore, learn, and come home a little different than when you left. That’s what we’re building at Airbnb. And this summer, we’re giving people even more ways to do it—from incredible places to stay and boutique hotels that feel like Airbnb, to unforgettable World Cup experiences and services that make your trip easier," said Brian Chesky, co-founder and CEO of Airbnb.
Airbnb Quietly Launches New 'Book Now, Pay Later' Feature for U.S. Travelers.
For travelers who prefer traditional hospitality over a local home, the platform is also introducing thousands of vetted boutique and independent hotels across 20 top destinations like New York, Paris and London, complete with a strict price-match guarantee.
To tie the whole experience together, the app is deploying advanced mid-funnel AI tools, including instant review highlights that synthesize thousands of opinions into a quick paragraph, side-by-side listing comparison grids, and a shared group itinerary map so everyone on the group text can track plans together. Whether you are hunting for a premium World Cup ticket package or just trying to streamline your next weekend road trip, the boundary between booking a stay and planning an entire itinerary is officially disappearing.

Kyle Cooke Says One Clue Confirmed 'Summer House's Amanda Batula and West Wilson Were Together
Kyle Cooke is sharing the details Summer House fans have been waiting for—pinpointing the exact moment he says he realized Amanda Batula and West Wilson were involved.
He opens up about feeling “betrayed” by the relationship, while revisiting the fallout from his split with Batula and addressing lingering questions around cheating allegations and where he stands with both of them now.
Unlike his friends, who had suspicions of a romance, Kyle admitted to being “oblivious” until a few days leading up to West and Amanda's announcement that they were together. As he mentioned on-air, he noticed Amanda had suddenly turned off her phone location.
"I'm looking at her location and she's at an Irish dive bar in Southern L.A. I'm like, 'That does not sound like a spot that Amanda would normally go to. She's with West. There's no other explanation,'" he recalled to People.
About a day before their public announcement, Ciara Miller, who had a romance with West and was a close friend of Amanda, learned her former friends were dating and called Kyle.
"Ciara immediately called me and I finally heard from Amanda nine hours later," Kyle said. “Even though I already had so many pieces of the puzzle, I was still in disbelief. That'd be so reckless and thoughtless and irresponsible, and Amanda is not usually any of those things."
View this post on InstagramDuring the last reunion episode, host Andy Cohen recalled how weeks earlier, Kyle said on Watch What Happens Live that if the rumors were true about West and Amanda, he wouldn't like it, but would accept the relationship if Amanda was happy.
Fast forward to the reunion, and Kyle seems to be eating those words, admitting that during that WWHL appearance, he didn't think there was any world where Amanda and West would be together.
Although the reunion ended, Bravo added a bonus episode, Summer House The Aftermath, which airs on June 16. Kyle confronts West in that episode and had teased on WWHL that he planned to have a sit-down with West.
“I finally got him to own up to some things I needed to hear him say," Kyle said, frustrated that West didn't seem to come with answers. "I was discouraged that he didn't come prepared to be 100% honest about everything. He was still lying about his girlfriend [Meija Moreno] and the reality of his exclusive nature of that relationship, which boggled my mind."
He added, "It was one of those conversations that I was like, 'I don't know what we just talked about for two and a half hours.' I'm not saying we talked in circles, but maybe I was too easy on him."
Kyle also concluded that West's move to date Amanda may have been more calculated. "I think West is no dummy, I think he realized Amanda's going to have this big PR moment. I think he realized it last summer. I think that's part of the reason why he's pulling his chair up next to Amanda," Kyle said. "He's like, 'I'm going to be the white knight here and stand up for Amanda because, well, the internet's going to love her and therefore the internet's going to love me.'"
As for season 11, Kyle said he's ready to return to the Hamptons—even if West and Amanda are also supposed to be sending it too.
"Hopefully we can still coexist peacefully," Kyle said. "I feel like life's too short. Have I forgiven [West]? No. I’m just not the kind of guy that wants to close someone out of my life, particularly if they played a big part in it. I’m doing this the best that I can. There’s no playbook."
Before His Death, James Van Der Beek Gave His Blessing to His Ex-Wife's New Marriage
James Van Der Beek's ex-wife had the late Dawson's Creek star's blessing over her new marriage before his death.
Heather McComb, who was married to Van Der Beek from 2003 to 2010, revealed in a new interview with Us Weekly that her recent marriage to Scott Michael Campbell received the approval of both her ex-husband and his widow before the Varsity Blues actor died in February.
"I will share one thing [about our last encounter] because I think it’s beautiful," McComb told the outlet in an interview published Tuesday, June 9. "James and Kimberly both knew that Scott and I were getting married and they both were so full of love and support and excitement."
She continued, "I know that James would want me to celebrate our love, just like he celebrated the love that he had for Kimberly, which was so beautiful."
McComb said that to have Van Der Beek's blessing on her marriage to Campbell, which was sealed with a May 30 ceremony, was something she will "always hold on [her] heart."
"I think that when I look back, that is really what I hold in my heart—is just how he loved [others] was a beautiful thing," the Party of Five actress said. "How he loved everybody in his life, especially Kimberly and those beautiful kids."
Following Van Der Beek's death at age 48 amid a battle with colorectal cancer, McComb was one of the many to pay tribute to the late star on Instagram, praising his "beautiful soul" in a lengthy memorial.
"What a journey we shared over the years," she wrote, in part. "I sit here in immense gratitude for the special connection, friendship and love that James and I shared that has endured through decades."
"I love you James. I know you had a lot of loved ones up there welcoming you home," she added later. “God bless you. Till we meet again you sweet soul you. Prayers up."
Prince Harry Honor Emerges Amid Plans for Upcoming U.K. Return
Prince Harry’s influence goes beyond his royal duties, philanthropic foundations and creative ventures and extends to the world of sports.
The 41-year-old royal recently received major recognition from TIME Magazine after being named one of the "100 Most Influential People in Sports 2026."
The high-profile list recognizes individuals whose contributions have helped shape the sports landscape and create a lasting impact across the industry.
Top-tier athletes like NBA superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry, WNBA stars Caitlin Clark and A'ja Wilson, soccer icon Lionel Messi and Olympians Eileen Gu, Alysa Liu and more, along with Prince Harry, were among the recipients of the major global honor.

Launched in 2014, the international event spotlights the strength and resilience of wounded, injured and sick military veterans and service personnel.
According to him, the inspiration for the event came from his life-changing experience in Afghanistan.
Prince Harry, who spent 10 years in the British Army and served under the name Captain Wales, used his firsthand experience in the military to establish a lasting legacy through the Invictus Games.
“No one wants sympathy. All they want is an opportunity to prove themselves, and that's what this is all about," he said during the launch of the Invictus Games in 2014.
"Some of these guys should be dead," the royal added. "Never before have we had so many amputees survive from such unbelievably traumatic injuries. I'm now lucky enough to watch someone who should be dead run the 100 meters. You want a definition of inspiration? That's probably it."
The Invictus Games, which held every two years, have staged seven editions and are set to hold their eighth in 2027.
Speaking of the highly anticipated sporting event, Prince Harry is reportedly planning a visit to the U.K. with his family.
The family trip is reportedly being planned in preparation for the upcoming Invictus Games set for July 10 to 17, 2027.
In a report cited by Page Six, the royal is “hoping” to bring his wife, Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the U.K. to see King Charles.
However, no "firm plans" have been made yet as his ongoing security dispute and a series of highly publicized rifts between him and the royal family remain unresolved.
On the other hand, multiple sources told the publication that the father of two “is keen to reconcile with the royal family.”
Pillsbury’s Brand-New Cookie Dough Flavor Is Heading to Walmart—And Fans Say It ‘Sounds So Good’
Pillsbury has a brand-new ready-to-bake (or eat) cookie dough flavor heading out and it's one that fans already have big plans for.
On Tuesday, the makers of the iconic boxed mix and ready-to-enjoy dough revealed it would be launching another new flavor of its bakery-style Big Cookies: Brown Butter Chocolate Lovers.
Despite the flavor's rather simple-sounding recipe, browning butter isn't an easy technique, and it can go from brown to burnt in the blink of an eye. So, having baking experts like Pillsbury do all the heavy lifting is something that could certainly be appreciated—and from the looks of the comments on social media, it already is.
Pillsbury Fans “Can’t Wait” for Its New Big Cookies Brown Butter Chocolate LoversAccording to the official product page on the Pillsbury website and an Instacart listing, the new Big Cookies add "sweet joy to your day" with a "chewy, delicious" recipe that combines the complex, almost nutty flavor of brown butter with the classic, sweet taste of semisweet chocolate chunks.

Each 14-ounce package will bake into six extra-large, bakery-style cookies in just about 17 minutes and requires absolutely no mixing or measuring (leaving behind nearly no mess). And since it is about to be summer, if consumers don't want to turn on their ovens, they don't have to. The flavor is safe to eat raw, so if you're one who's more apt to enjoy the cookie dough as cookie dough, you can do so without fear.
View this post on Instagram"Cookies are always better with browned butter!!" one delighted Instagram user cheered.
"OH MY! Sounds so good. I wanna make like cookie dough ice cream using these instead of just chocolate chips," a second exclaimed, to which food blogger CandyHunting replied: "That's a great idea!"
"Oooooo 😋🤤," another swooned. "I can't wait to try hopefully!"

"HIP HIP HOORAY🍪🍪," someone else applauded.
"Oh, my!" one more added, joking, "That deserves a hoo hoo!"
View this post on InstagramThe newcomer is set to join Pillsbury's debut Big Cookies flavors, including Double Chocolate Cherry, Chocolate Chunk Salted Caramel and S'mores in the coming weeks. Whether it's releasing as a seasonal item, like Pillsbury's Big Cookies Blueberry Crumble flavor, is currently unclear. That said, it does appear to be exclusive to Walmart (prices may vary).

’80s Rock Band Is Suddenly Climbing the Charts 37 Years After No. 1 Hit
Bon Jovi is enjoying a surprising return to the charts nearly four decades after scoring one of its biggest hits.
The legendary rock band's compilation album, Greatest Hits: The Ultimate Collection, is climbing multiple Billboard rankings again, helping bring renewed attention to songs that first made Bon Jovi a global superstar. The resurgence comes as interest in the band grows following the announcement of a new Bon Jovi biopic currently in development at Universal Pictures.
Among the songs benefiting from the renewed attention is "Livin' on a Prayer," one of the group's most recognizable tracks. The song recently debuted inside the top 10 on Billboard's Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, landing at No. 10.

The band's chart revival is also lifting Greatest Hits: The Ultimate Collection, which continues to perform strongly years after its release. The collection climbed to No. 11 on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums chart and returned to the Top Rock and Alternative Albums chart at No. 47. It also re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 192.
The renewed chart activity arrives 37 years after Bon Jovi's last No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit, "I'll Be There for You," topped the chart in 1989. The song remains one of the centerpiece tracks included on Greatest Hits: The Ultimate Collection.
Released in October 2010, Greatest Hits: The Ultimate Collection became one of the band's most successful compilation projects. The double-disc collection features many of Bon Jovi's signature songs, including "Livin' on a Prayer," "You Give Love a Bad Name," "Wanted Dead or Alive," "It's My Life," "Always" and "I'll Be There for You."
The album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and has remained a consistent presence on various charts over the years. According to Billboard data, the collection has now spent 409 weeks on the Billboard 200, making it one of the longest-charting releases in the band's catalog.
The compilation also includes previously unreleased songs such as "What Do You Got?," "No Apologies," "This Is Love, This Is Life" and "The More Things Change," which were recorded specifically for the project.
Its worldwide success helped the album earn numerous certifications, including multi-platinum status in several countries. The collection reached No. 1 in markets including Ireland and Portugal while topping the European Top 100 Albums chart.
Bon Jovi's renewed chart momentum comes during a busy period for the band.
Last month, reports emerged that Universal Pictures secured rights to develop a biographical film about the group. While details remain limited and no release date has been announced, the project has already generated fresh interest in Bon Jovi's extensive catalog.
The band is also preparing for its upcoming Forever Tour. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi recently invited fans to submit videos of themselves singing "Livin' on a Prayer" for a chance to appear on the tour's giant video screens.
View this post on InstagramAccording to the band's website, fan submissions will become part of the concert visuals throughout the tour.
Bon Jovi formed in 1983 and became one of the defining rock acts of the 1980s. The band's breakthrough came with Slippery When Wet in 1986, which produced the smash hits "Livin' on a Prayer" and "You Give Love a Bad Name." Their 1988 album New Jersey delivered another run of major successes, including "Bad Medicine" and "I'll Be There for You."
More than 40 years after forming, Bon Jovi continues to attract new listeners while longtime fans revisit the songs that helped define an era.
With a major film project in development, a new tour on the horizon and a greatest hits package once again climbing the charts, the band's catalog is proving its lasting appeal.

'Every Year After' Ending Explained: Do Percy and Sam End Up Together?
After the rabid success of The Summer I Turned Pretty and Off Campus, Prime Video has cornered a nice little market for themselves when it comes to page-to-screen adaptations of beloved YA romances. And the streamer has added to that steamy bookish bunch with its latest series Every Year After, a TV adaptation of Carley Fortune's best-selling novel Every Summer After, which premiered on Wednesday, June 10.
In case you haven't thumbed through Fortune's famous beach read just yet, the 2022 novel is a second chance-at-love tale centered on the decades-spanning connection between Persephone “Percy” Foster (Sadie Soverall) and her childhood bestie-turned-first love Sam Florek (Matt Cornett). Their sweet relationship and subsequent estrangement play out across two alternating timelines in the eight-episode romantic drama, as Percy returns to the lake town of Barry's Bay and has to confront both her past choices and present feelings for her old friend.
If you have, however, already finished the streaming version of Fortune's romance novel, here's the ending of Every Year After explained and everything that went down with Percy, Sam and the rest of the Barry's Bay bunch.
Every Year After ending explained Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett star as Every Year After's romantic leads Percy and Sam.Prime Video
Do Percy and Sam end up together in ‘Every Year After’?That’s left kind of up in the air at the end of the Season 1 finale. The on-again, off-again pair do spend the evening together the night of Sue’s memorial, with Percy declaring, "We have a history of messy goodbyes, and I think we're owed a proper one.” And though Sam does sleep with his former flame, it’s clear that he is still deeply hurting from her betrayal. “I want so much to forgive you," he tells her, "But I don't think I can do this." She knows this, she responds, and leaves Barry’s Bay the next morning to return to Seattle with Chantal (Aurora Perrineau).
Sometime later, Percy receives a letter in the mail; it’s from Sam and it includes the keys to Sue’s tavern, the ownership of which was left to Percy in her will. "This is as it should be," reads a note within. We fast-forward to the beginning of the next summer season in Barry’s Bay, with Percy and Delilah Mason (Abigail Cowen)—their frenemy past now put behind them—getting ready to reopen the old tavern under Percy’s new ownership. Percy reveals that Jordie (Joseph Chiu) had relayed an invite to the opening to Sam, but she doesn’t expect Sam to reach out to her given everything that happened between them. But altogether, she’s happy in Barry’s Bay, and inspired, too: she officially has a publisher and will be writing her first horror novel.
Sam doesn’t attend the opening party, but he does show up afterwards, surprising Percy while she’s washing dishes in the back. “You came home,” she tells him as both, clearly emotional, gaze at each other. So, we don’t know exactly where their relationship stands at the end of Every Year After season one, but it certainly seems like they’re edging towards reconciliation.
Aurora Perrineau and Sadie Soverall play besties Chantal and Percy in Every Year AfterPrime Video
Do Chantal and Jordie get together in Every Year After?Yes, after a near-kiss that leaves Chantal—Percy’s adult bestie and a successful lawyer who doesn't do mess or murkiness—shocked and shaken, especially as she’s presently engaged to someone else, she does end up developing feelings for Sam’s close pal Jordie, a laidback motel manager she meets in Barry’s Bay.
In the season finale, Chantal surprises Percy by showing up a day early for the tavern opening party. The truth is, she came up early to spend time with Jordie, with whom she has been hooking up casually. However, the by-the-books attorney reveals that she’s actually enjoying the lack of labels and easy, breezy nature of their situationship.
That is, until the opening party, when Jordie announces that he doesn’t want to do murky and wants more with her. The burgeoning couple happily smooch so it looks like these two are officially official.
Abigail Cowen plays Percy's complicated frenemy Delilah in Every Year After.Prime Video
What happens to Delilah in Every Year After? When we first meet Percy’s onetime childhood friend Delilah, she is unhappily wed and engaged in an extramarital affair with Sam’s older brother Charlie (Michael Bradway). By the season’s final episode, though, both of those relationships are relics of the past.
Instead, Delilah is standing on her own two feet—she’s tired of trying to be something else for someone else, she tells Percy—and is helping run the newly opened tavern. However, that strong-and-single status might be an act, given the dejected look on her face when she spots Jordie and Chantal kissing at the opening party. Jordie had a crush on her in the past; is Delilah finally reciprocating all these years later?

Charlie (Michael Bradway)'s betrayal against his brother is the root of much drama in Every Year After.Justine Yeung/Prime Video
Does Sam ever forgive Charlie in Every Year After? It would be understandably hard for anyone to show forgiveness after such a betrayal from a sibling, so it’s not that much of a surprise that Sam does not forgive Charlie for sleeping with Percy all those years ago. Charlie tries to make amends with his younger bro at their mother’s memorial, with the elder Florek coming up and offering support when Charlie tearfully breaks down while delivering the eulogy. And though Sam is appreciative of that support in the moment, the damage to their brotherhood is done. We’re orphans, Sam tells him, and now he doesn’t even have Charlie either.
In the fast-forward to the following summer, we find out that Charlie and Sam have not talked since the devastating reveal, an estrangement that Charlie especially is having trouble with. He’s been throwing himself in work, Delilah tells Percy, and it’s there that we catch up with him in the finale episode. During a conversation with his boss, Charlie notices a photo hung in his office—it’s a shot of him, Sam and Percy out boating on the lake. His boss tells him that he never knew who the photo was of, just that his wife had purchased it from a gallery out in British Columbia.
Much later, when the office is empty, Charlie sneaks in to look at the photo of the three of them. His vision seemingly goes blurry and he grasps at his left arm before collapsing to the ground—is it a panic attack like Percy or a heart attack like his father? We’ll have to wait for season two to find out, as the credits start to roll immediately after.

One of the Most Powerful Drummers in Rock Turns 62
Jimmy Chamberlin, a musician from The Smashing Pumpkins who is frequently referred to as one of the most powerful drummers in rock, turns 62 today. Chamberlin has worked on Grammy award-winning hits like "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" and “The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning.” He was included on Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time” and was named as the fifth best drummer by the British magazine, Gigwise.
In a 2020 interview with Andrew Daly, Chamberlin explained that he got involved in music when he was only eight because his brother was a drummer. He also explained his love of the instrument, saying, “Drums are oftentimes the foundation of any musical conversation we are having. When they are congruent with the narrative, i.e. telling the same story, they become a powerful part, perhaps the most powerful part of the story. Secondarily, being aware of and participating in the narrative allows us to make good musical choices and embellish the story with foreshadowing and dynamics that make it come to life in a way that few other instruments can.”

In addition to being a part of such an iconic rock group, Chamberlin has also performed in the supergroup Zwan along with the frontman for The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan, who is a close friend of his.
“I feel fortunate to be in a band with Billy Corgan, a friend and a songwriter of incredible depth that consistently offers me opportunities to navigate an incredibly wide selection of music, and challenges me to evolve my own language as a participant,” he said.

However, Chamberlin has performed without Corgan as well. He formed his own group, The Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, back in 2004. When speaking about the differences between performing with The Jimmy Chamberlin Complex and with The Smashing Pumpkins, he said, “It’s the same, really. Other than the specificity of parts, I approach both bands the same. My choices are obviously different at times in response to the music of the moment, but the philosophy is the same.”
The Smashing Pumpkins are still touring, with plenty of concert dates coming up this autumn.

Billy Ray Cyrus Was at Rock Bottom—Then His Grandson Said Two Words That Changed Everything
Billy Ray Cyrus is reflecting on the darkest chapter of his life. From divorce and a health scare that nearly ended his career to fractured family relationships — and how an unexpected push from his grandson helped him find his way back.
Now, with a new album, a renewed bond with his children, and a romance with Elizabeth Hurley, the country star says he's finally found peace after going "to hell and back."
"When you're completely on the bottom, that is the only way to go — up," Cyrus recently told People, adding, "I had entered a period where I hadn't worked for a really long time. And then I realized today, I said, ‘Cyrus, you're working now, man. Be careful what you ask for. You said you wanted to get on the ride? Well, here you go.'"
After his 28-year marriage to ex-wife Trish ended in 2022, the 64-year-old singer found himself on the edge of a tough period. "Sometimes change is scary, and I'll keep doing the wrong thing for a long time because I'm scared of change," he said about facing a new life without Trish. "But when I finally do get the courage up to commit in my mind and say, ‘I'm going to do this,' then that's the way it is. No looking back. I think that's maybe sometimes good for everyone—to just let go."
Cyrus fell into a string of relationships, marrying and divorcing singer Johanna Rosie Scholem, both citing abuse in court documents filed in 2024. During the same year, Cyrus was diagnosed with vocal paralysis and sepsis, which nearly killed him.
View this post on InstagramDuring what he described as a particularly low point, Cyrus' grandson Bear gave him the strength to keep pushing with two words. "In this very broken moment of my life, my little grandson Bear looked at me and said, ‘Try again.' And up until that moment, he had never spoken to me at all," Cyrus recalled. "I wasn't even sure if he knew my name. In that moment I thought, ‘He's telling you something.' Is it about love? Music? Somehow, I got to try again at both. So I'm learning to try again."
Joking that he'll never be considered as "parent of the year," Cyrus said he's ready for a fresh start with his kids.
"Life is a series of adjustments, and I think my family always knew that. We've all been through a lot, and we've seen a lot. Whatever happened is in the rearview mirror," he reflected. "The past is over and done. The future is what we have, and we got to look forward."
Cyrus has continued to move forward and went public with a new relationship in 2025 with Hurley. "What more could I ask for? I don't have anything to complain about," he said. "I like how everything looks right now. I finally found this wonderful place where I'm happy."
Former 'DWTS' Pro Maks Chmerkovskiy Posts Cryptic Message About Major Life Change: 'I Will Miss Everything'
Fans are reacting after Maks Chmerkovskiy shared an emotional message on social media that hinted at a major life change, though he did not share specific details.
On June 9, the former Dancing With the Stars pro took to his Instagram Stories to reflect on the past while suggesting he is stepping into a new chapter.
"This life. What an emotional page turner," Chmerkovskiy wrote. "I will miss everything about what was, but to say that I'm so excited about what's next would be huge understatement. Looking forward to it all but will sit in my feelings for now. More soon."
He also added four specific emoji: a sad face, the peace sign, a red heart, and prayer hands.
Some Dancing With the Stars fans discussed the post on Reddit, many confused and some concerned about what's going on in Chmerkovskiy's life.
"Didn't Jenna say her and Val had big changes coming? Wonder if it's anything related to that," one Redditor suggested, referring to Chmerkovskiy's brother and sister-in-law, Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson.
"I feel like maybe he and Val are selling/closing their dance studios? it doesnt seem like either are that invested in it anymore (maybe I'm wrong, truthfully I don't follow either on social media anymore)," someone else wrote.
"Just ran here because I’m so curious what it’s about," a third Reddit user said.
"So is [he] excited for whats next or," a fourth comment read.
While Chmerkovskiy did not clarify what changes may be ahead, his message has clearly struck a chord with fans who are now eagerly waiting for more information.
Taylor Swift's 'Toy Story 5' Premiere Appearance Sparks Fan Theory About Her Secret Role
Swifties and Disney fans have already been overjoyed with the news that singer-songwriter and mega star Taylor Swifthas put out a brand-new song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," to be included on the Toy Story 5 soundtrack. However, following her recent appearance at the Toy Story 5 world premiere, the internet is now convinced that a much bigger surprise is coming.
Swift had a massive presence at the Toy Story 5 world premiere, which took place on June 9. In addition to the adorable moment when Swift had Tom Hanksand other Toy Story stars sign her VHS tape of Toy Story, Swift performed the iconic Toy Story song "You've Got a Friend in Me" with Randy Newman (in a stunning yellow dress that has the internet going wild) and even received a Jessie doll alongside the voice actress for Jessie, Joan Cusack.
Given the major, arguably unprecedented extent of Swift's presence at the premiere, one rumor is now running rampant. Specifically, fans have begun to suspect that Swift is more involved with the movie than just her song. The running theory is that Swift is secretly the voice of Emily, Jessie's former owner.
Pixar's post showing Swift receiving the Jessie doll is particularly full of comments reflecting this theory, including one that reads, "Toy Story 2 box????? I swear if she’s actually an older Emily, too 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹" and another that says, "She’s definitely Jessie’s owner."
The trailers for Toy Story 5 have confirmed that Emily is part of the movie, and Disney and Pixar haven't indicated who is voicing that part. It's possible that Emily doesn't have a speaking role, as was the case in Toy Story 2 when both Emily and Jessie had their debuts. However, particularly considering that this movie has been billed as a Jessie-focused story, it would make sense for Emily to have a larger (and therefore speaking) role.
So, is it possible that Swift is secretly the voice of Emily? Absolutely. The superstar is known for loving a good surprise—after all, fans had used Easter eggs and clues to guess that Swift was involved with Toy Story 5 in the first place—so this would be very on brand. Fans won't know for sure until the movie hits theaters on June 19, though.
Amazon Just Named This Oprah's Book Club Pick Its Best Book of 2026 So Far

1979 Hits Earned This Yacht Rock Legend 'The Most Applause for the Least Work'
Already a rock legend from his time with the Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald later added another memorable chapter to his career through his work with Christopher Cross.
His collaborations on “I Really Don’t Know Anymore” and “Ride Like the Wind” became standout moments on Cross’s self-titled debut album. These songs, and others, helped propel the record to major commercial success.
Despite their strong vocal chemistry, McDonald was not originally slated to work with Cross during the recording sessions. The happenstance event turned into an iconic musical matchup.
Cross shared details of how the Doobie Brothers vocalist appeared on his album in a 2024 interview with Rick Beato. He chalked it up to being at the right place at the right time.

"Doobies were recording 'Takin' It To The Streets' next door," Cross began. "And [producer Michael] Omartian knew McDonald from Steely Dan."
"He invited him over. He walked in and said, 'I heard what you were doing.' He said, 'You know how it is when you're in your session, and you go next door, and you think 'this sounds really good. A lot better than what we're doing.'"

Cross continued, "[McDonald] sang on 'I Really Don't Know Anymore' later than day and when we were doing 'Ride Like the Wind,' we thought 'Michael McDonald would kill this.'"
He concluded, "We brought him back in. Michael always says that's the most applause he gets for the least amount of work."
In an interview with Songfacts, Cross added, "It was a huge boost for us, because the album was sent to radio, and to see names on the album like Mike McDonald and Don Henley was big. I had known Don from Texas, and he was nice enough to sing."
"Certainly Mike and Don were tremendous helps at radio as far as credibility and notice for the record. And as a Steely Dan fan, I was thrilled," he concluded.
Christopher Cross' 1979 debut LP features the smash hits "Sailing" and "Ride Like the Wind." It made Grammy history by becoming the first album to sweep all four major categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
Almost 47 years after their first collaboration, Christopher Cross and Michael McDonald remain friends. Their connection endures as one of mutual admiration and shared musical legacy.

'The Big Bang Theory' Almost Made Sheldon a 'Womanizer'
The Big Bang Theory fans almost met an unrecognizable version of Sheldon Cooper.
The brilliant and socially awkward Sheldon was actually a "womanizer" in a "very strange, macabre" version of the CBSsitcom's pilot, The Big Bang Theory alum Simon Helberg revealed during a new appearance on Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Dinner's on Me podcast.
Helberg, who played Howard Wolowitz throughout The Big Bang Theory's 12-season run, shared that he didn't appear in the initial pilot, which never made it to air.
"They reshot the pilot. So the pilot I was in was the reshot one. They shot a very strange, macabre version of it, where [Parsons' Sheldon] was like a womanizer." Helberg explained in the podcast episode released on Tuesday, June 9. "Very strange. Like a guy drinking beer—kind of like the Neil Patrick Harris [How I Met Your Mother] character [Barney Stinson], I think. Very different."
The character that eventually became Kaley Cuoco's bubbly Penny was also "completely different," Helberg said, appearing in the first pilot as someone who was "dark-haired and gothy."
The Big Bang Theory co-creators Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre previously discussed the unaired pilot with Entertainment Weekly in 2022, revealing that Penny was initially written as a more "dangerous" character named Katie, played by Amanda Walsh, who "wasn't very nice to the guys."
"The audience hated her," Lorre confessed, adding that while Walsh did a "great job" playing the character of Katie, they found through test audiences that viewers "didn't want a toxic presence" around Sheldon and his roommate, Johnny Galecki's Leonard Hofstadter.
"That's why we rewrote Katie to become Penny and made her much more charmed by the guys and kind to them, as opposed to a woman who would take advantage of them," Lorre explained, adding that the second pilot allowed them to lean into their "brilliant misfit characters" instead of focusing on the initial plot.
Waldameer Just Announced a Major New 2027 Roller Coaster—And It Proves Smaller Parks Are Dominating Right Now
If you feel like your summer amusement park trips have gotten a lot more exciting lately, you aren't imagining things. We are living through an absolute golden era for roller coaster enthusiasts, and you don’t have to jet off to a massive destination resort to get your adrenaline fix.
Right now, regional gems and major chains like Six Flags are locked in a friendly arms race to win over travelers. Thanks to innovative new tier-structured pass programs—like memberships that unlock access to multiple sister parks for weekend road trips—and a rapid wave of new ride construction stretching into 2026 and 2027, local parks are packing serious value onto the midway. The latest proof comes out of Erie, Pennsylvania, where the historic, family-owned Waldameer Park just gave fans a thrilling first look at its massive new attraction slated for the 2027 season.

Dubbed Eagle’s Pursuit, the newly announced ride will mark Waldameer's sixth roller coaster. It is designed to take brilliant advantage of the park’s natural, hilly terrain, soaring over the hillside with panoramic views overlooking Lake Erie. The impressive stats boast a 60-foot elevation change, nearly 1,900 feet of twisting steel track, and two separate, high-powered launches that will blast riders through the trees at a top speed of 46 miles per hour.

What makes Eagle’s Pursuit so fascinating to industry insiders is that it perfectly mirrors the biggest theme park trend sweeping the country this summer: the rise of the high-thrill "family coaster." For a long time, parks built rides for two distinct categories—gentle kiddie coasters or terrifying, 200-foot-tall steel giants that required you to be a fully grown teenager just to clear the queue. Today, parks are leaning into a sweet spot that delivers genuine, glossy speed and airtime pops but keeps a much shorter, highly accessible 38-inch height requirement. It means a brave eight-year-old daredevil can experience a world-class launch ride right alongside their parents.
According to Jakob Wahl, Executive Director of IAAPA (the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), this shift toward high-thrill, highly accessible rides is defining the modern midway. “I think one of the big trends actually in this industry is that you see many parks investing into attractions that are able to be experienced by different generations," Wahl notes. "Many park operators and suppliers have invested a lot into building roller coasters which are which are thrilling, but which at the same time can be experienced by younger kids.”
To pull off this specific magic, Waldameer is partnering with Vekoma for the very first time in the park's long history. If you aren't a self-proclaimed "coaster nerd," Vekoma is a legendary Dutch ride manufacturer famous for completely reinventing how smooth, modern family coasters feel. Older generations might remember family coasters as clunky, jerky rides that left you with a bit of a head knock. Vekoma changed the game by engineering incredibly smooth track transitions, comfortable individual lap bars that don’t pinch, and sophisticated magnetic launch systems.
Theme park enthusiasts are highly enthusiastic about the announcement, noting it is an "honest[ly] couldn't be a better addition for this park" that "should fit right in with their collection." Fans praised the ride's layout, stating they are "so happy to see the terrain usage" and highlighting that "between this and RF2 [Ravine Flyer II] this is a great 1-2 punch for a small family regional park." Overall, coasters nerds agree it "looks very fun and gives me more reason to do a Pennsylvania trip" to support a "family owned park grow with major additions."
Seeing an independent, regional park like Waldameer invest in this level of cutting-edge international craftsmanship is a huge win for local tourism, and it sets up a stellar safety net for family vacation planners over the next few years. Whether you're holding a multi-park season pass or just packing up the car for a classic lakeside summer tradition, the horizon for theme park fans has never looked brighter.

’90s Country Star Cancels Shows After Hospitalization
Country music fans are sending well wishes to veteran singer-songwriter Radney Foster after the acclaimed artist was hospitalized with a serious infection, forcing the postponement of scheduled performances with fellow country artist Kelly Willis.
The announcement was shared through Foster’s official Instagram account, confirming that the Radney Foster and Kelly Willis shows scheduled for the weekend would be rescheduled while the Texas-born musician focuses on his recovery.
“We’re sorry to announce that the Radney Foster/Kelly Willis shows this weekend are being rescheduled,” the post read. “Radney is recovering from a serious infection that required hospitalization. While he is improving and has been released from the ICU, his doctors have advised him to take time away from the road to focus on his health.”

The statement reassured fans that Foster’s condition has improved since his hospitalization. He has been released from the intensive care unit, but medical professionals have recommended that he step away from touring activities as he continues to recover.
View this post on InstagramNo additional details about the infection or the length of his recovery have been released.
The postponed performances were part of Foster’s ongoing appearances with singer-songwriter Kelly Willis. The pair have recently been performing together, blending songs from their catalogs with storytelling and collaborative performances.
Earlier this year, Foster and Willis performed songs including “The One They Call,” a collaboration inspired by a songwriting project with military veterans through the nonprofit Songwriting With: Soldiers.
Fans who purchased tickets for the affected shows have been advised to contact the venues directly for information regarding new dates and ticket options.
The postponement comes as Foster had maintained an active performance schedule, with multiple appearances planned across several states throughout the year.
Foster first rose to prominence in the late 1980s as one-half of the country duo Foster & Lloyd. The pair made history when their debut single, “Crazy Over You,” became the first debut single by a duo to reach the top of the country charts.
After the duo parted ways, Foster launched a successful solo career in the early 1990s. His breakthrough album, Del Rio, TX 1959, produced several charting hits, including “Just Call Me Lonesome,” “Nobody Wins,” “Easier Said Than Done” and “Hammer and Nails.”
Beyond his own recordings, Foster earned widespread respect as one of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters. His songs have been recorded by artists including Keith Urban, The Chicks, Hootie & the Blowfish, Gary Allan, Sara Evans and Jack Ingram.
Over the years, Foster expanded his creative work beyond music. He became an author with the release of For You To See The Stars, a project that combined short fiction with a companion collection of songs. He has also worked on film and television development projects.
Kelly Willis, who has collaborated with Foster on multiple occasions, is also a respected figure in country and Americana music. Known for her critically acclaimed recordings and distinctive vocal style, Willis has built a decades-long career and was inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame.
For now, Foster’s focus remains on his health and recovery.

One of Television’s Most Talked-About Finales Aired 19 Years Ago Today
Nineteen years ago today, one of television’s most talked-about dramas came to an end with a finale that left viewers stunned, confused and searching for answers.
When the final episode aired on June 10, 2007, fans expected a definitive conclusion to years of storytelling. Instead, the series delivered an ending that sparked immediate debate and has continued to fuel discussion ever since.
The show was The Sopranos, and its abrupt final scene remains one of the most controversial endings in television history. The series concluded with Tony Soprano, played by James Gandolfini, meeting his family at a diner. As the scene unfolded, viewers watched a series of seemingly ordinary moments before the screen suddenly cut to black.
What happened next—or whether anything happened at all—was left open to interpretation. Nearly two decades later, fans are still debating whether Tony survived, making the finale one of the most analyzed endings in television history.
In Nov. 2021, Sopranos creator (writer, director, and producer) David Chase spoke about the ending of one of the greatest shows ever.
“I had no idea it would cause that much … of an uproar," Chase said on the Awards Chatter podcast. “What was annoying was how many people wanted to see Tony killed. They wanted to see him go face-down in linguini, you know? That bothered me.”
Whether viewers loved the ending or hated it, there's no denying its place in television history. Few series finales have sparked as much discussion or inspired as many theories as The Sopranos. The final scene continues to be dissected by fans, cementing its status as one of the most memorable endings of a TV show—ever.
So, do you think Tony Soprano died in that diner?
