Back on March 10, 2026, the Disney Adventure officially made history as the line’s largest ship ever built and the very first to be permanently homeported in Asia. The massive vessel has spent its inaugural spring season racking up rave reviews for its localized storytelling and sprawling layouts. But while the ship is busy sailing its popular three- and four-night itineraries out of the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, Disney is bringing that onboard magic directly to the shore for travelers who aren't quite ready to pack their cruise bags just yet.

Disney Cruise Line has officially partnered with the Sentosa Development Corporation to launch "A Magical Island Adventure: Let's Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line," according to reporting from Blooloop.

Running from June 24 through September 20, 2026, the three-month summer festival is designed to take Sentosa’s lush natural landscapes and famous beach precincts and transform them into immersive pop-up experiences. The massive installation serves as a living, breathing land map of the actual ship, with zones directly modeled after the Disney Adventure’s seven onboard themed areas.

For travelers who love a great visual photo-op, the scale of these temporary spaces is absolute wonderland material. The journey starts at the island's famous Sensoryscape venue, which has been transformed into a regal promenade representing the ship's central "Town Square." The area features 13 separate, beautifully styled Disney princess-themed hammock installations where guests can lounge under the tropical canopy. Over at the Tactile Trellis attraction, the "Disney Imagination Garden" area comes to life via a massive, 16-foot topiary installation meticulously shaped into the iconic Disney Cruise Line logo.

If you're traveling with family or just want to tap into some high-vibe nostalgia, Palawan Beach is bound to be your main afternoon anchor. The sand will play host to the "Toy Story Place" zone, packed with larger-than-life bath toys, interactive bubble inflatables, and a massive themed play area. Right next door, the high-tech world of "San Fransokyo Street" takes over the beach, headlined by a jaw-dropping, 20-foot-tall inflatable Baymax that is practically guaranteed to dominate your social media feeds.

The adventure also stretches across the island’s most famous landmarks. The Central Beach Bazaar will showcase an 11-foot "Magical Compass" installation that visually maps out the ship's distinct zones, and the transit experience is getting a full thematic upgrade—all three stations on the Sentosa line of the Singapore Cable Car will feature custom Disney photo backdrops, and the actual cable car cabins are getting a full, top-to-bottom graphic wrap.

But the real show-stopper for anyone who loves an evening stroll comes at sundown. The Southernmost Point of Continental Asia—famous for its dramatic suspension bridge and coastal views—is being completely reimagined as a glowing coastal wonderland. The nighttime illumination is inspired by the marine beauty of "Disney Discovery Reef" and the high-seas energy of "Wayfinder Bay," letting guests walk across the illuminated edge of the continent while experiencing the exact oceanic design aesthetics currently floating out at sea.

Ultimately, the Sentosa takeover highlights the pure, transportive magic of Disney storytelling. Bringing these seven distinct worlds to life on land means you don't even have to leave the shore to feel the incredible energy of this historic new ship. From sunset strolls across a glowing suspension bridge to afternoon beach days under the watchful eye of a giant Baymax, the festival seamlessly blends a beautiful tropical destination with the beloved characters and high-vibe imagination that only Disney can deliver.

Savannah Guthrie fought back tears on Tuesday, June 23, episode of Today as she urged viewers to come forward with anything that could help investigators find her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.

The longtime NBC anchor came on air live a day after NBC News reported that a second note tied to her mother's disappearance claimed that she had died. Seemingly responding to the reports, she noted that even though she is not part of the show's news coverage of the case, she could not remain silent during the segment.

"This is unusual and unprecedented to say the least to be sitting here," Savannah said.

She then made a direct appeal, urging people to come forward with information. "So since I am I just wanted to take the opportunity to really ask people and really beg people to come forward because somebody knows something," she continued.

The award-winning TV host explained that the case that is making headlines nationwide is a devastating daily reality for everyone close to her. "This is a news story today that is on your radar, but this is the life my sister, Annie Guthrie, lives, that I live, that my brother, Cameron Guthrie, lives, that our extended families live, that our children live every day," she said.

The 54-year-old said the uncertainty continues to take an emotional toll on her family. "We are in agony," she added. "We cannot be at peace."

Explaining how she is navigating this phase, Savannah added, "No matter how much I try to come out here every day and smile and find that joy and I will, I promise I will this is a moment to say we need your help. … I'm not gonna miss that opportunity."

While investigators are still working the case, the Today host insisted that even the smallest detail could matter. "No matter how small, the reward is there. You can tell us, it can be anonymous. Please do the right thing," she said.

The segment ended with Savannah reaffirming her family's commitment to finding their mother. "We love our mom, and we'll never stop looking for her. Ever."

After her emotional remarks, her longtime colleagues offered support. Craig Melvinreminded viewers that an FBI tip line is open for anyone with information. He also praised Savannah’s strength through the ordeal. "The bravery and courage with which you have done this job every day since that happened is nothing short of remarkable," Melvin said.

As Savannah and her family navigate a painful chapter in their personal lives, investigators are still working to find Nancy and whoever is responsible for her disappearance. Authorities have maintained that the 84-year-old was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona home in the middle of the night. No suspect has yet been publicly identified.

Anyone with information about Nancy's whereabouts or what might have happened to her is asked to call Tucson’s 88-Crime hotline at 1-520-882-7463 or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Oprah Winfrey says she protected Whitney Houston from public scrutiny after the late legend fell off the stage, having apparently relapsed ahead of her final appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

The media mogul opened up about using her television influence as a "force for good" during her presentation to Cannes Lions delegates at the Lumière Theatre in the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday, June 23, recalling at one point her decision to protect Houston from a devastating public moment in 2009.

"This was an amazing thing that happened. I had such trust from the Oprah Show audience … I think it was [Houston’s] last show with us, and she had gone back on drugs," Winfrey said, as per Variety. "The first interview I did with her, when we’d gone behind stage and I asked her about her intention, she was clean, but the day she came to my show then to perform in front of the audience, she was not, and she fell off of the stage."

Winfrey said that she knew how devastating the incident would have been for the "I Will Always Love You" artist and jumped into action.

"I knew that if that story got out … she would be destroyed by that," Winfrey said. "And so even though the audience was there and the audience had cameras, I begged them not to put those pictures out because it would ruin her life, and they did not. That would not happen today, I can tell you that."

Three years later, Houston died in February 2012 at the age of 48 due to an accidental drowning.

Winfrey later impressed upon her fellow creators the responsibilities that they hold. "Your bigger job here on the planet is to be the best human being you can be, not the best creator, not the best talk show host, not the best podcaster, but how are you evolving into what creation intended for you to be?" she asked.

Blondie legend Debbie Harry may no longer be blonde, but she looks incredible with white hair.

Harry, 80, became a music staple in the late ’70s and ’80s thanks to her role as lead singer of the band Blondie. With hits like “The Tide is High” and “Rapture,” the beauty became one of the most desired musicians of her day. However, she hasn’t exactly slowed down in the decades that followed, and she still hits the stage to perform regularly.

In a new appearance, Harry kept her momentum going as she hit the red carpet for the Supergirl world premiere in New York City. Wearing a black jumpsuit with an electric green shirt underneath, the music icon made it clear she's got style to spare in her eighties. While her trademark blonde hair may be gone, she's rocking white tresses like an absolute pro.

What’s Next for Debbie Harry?

While she’s best known as a music icon, Harry has done her fair share of acting, with roles in David Cronenberg’s Videodrome and John Waters’ Hairspray. However, her upcoming role sounds like quite a doozie. Last month, Deadline reported that Harry will play Pamela Anderson‘s mother in a comedy called Maitreya that’s directed by Portlandia creator Jonathan Krisel.

“Maitreya (Anderson), a rising star in the New Age Healing community who is about to head off to a conference in India when she receives a call from her estranged sister, Monica: their father is dying. Rather than stay home with him, Maitreya decides to bring her entire family – including her mother Barbara (Harry) – to the conference and put her New Age healing theories to the test (all while surreptitiously gathering material for her next book),” the description reads.

Now that sounds like an interesting one!

751 players have competed in 50 seasons of Survivor so far. But there's only one person who's become the face of the franchise: Jeff Probst. In a game full of an unlimited amount of variables, Probst has been the biggest constant, serving as the CBS reality show's host since the very first season. And his role both in front of and behind the camera has only grown, now overseeing nearly every facet of life on the island as showrunner and executive producer.

Over 26 years, Probst has been rewarded handsomely for his hard work, as winning four straight Emmys for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program has shown that Survivor is a gig worth hosting (for). And, given all the tireless effort, talent and passion he's put into helping keep the show going, he's deserved his place as one of the most iconic hosts of all time, up there with the likes of Johnny Carson, Bob Barker and Alex Trebek.

There's a commonality between all of those men, however. As much as they were at one time all regarded as venerated institutions of television, they all eventually left their post. At first blush, it would be near-impossible to imagine American Survivor without the "Probst Master General." But even though the 64-year-old has previously said Survivor is the best job he'll ever have, he does feel the show can carry on even without him carrying the torch snuffer. So the question is, if Probst were to ever retire, who would step into his metaphoric khakis and blue shirt to take over?

We've compiled a list of 11 people who could take over as Survivor host, from legendary former players to celebrity superfans to even a former host of an international edition. So come on in!

While Probst is absolutely the consensus choice for "the face of Survivor," if you picked a player, you'd be hard-pressed not to choose Boston Rob Mariano. The legend has appeared on a whopping six seasons, over a fifth of the show's run up to this point. He's half of one of the show's biggest-ever storylines, finding love and going to the end with his eventual wife Amber Brkich on All-Stars. He put together a masterclass in his winning season on Redemption Island, quite literally writing the rulebook on how to play. Not to mention that, with his recent appearances on The Traitors and Deal or No Deal Island, the reality TV world is experiencing a bit of a "Boston Rob Renaissance." Arguably being the most in the spotlight in over two decades, it would make sense to strike while the iron is hot to bring him in as emcee.

But Boston Rob isn't the only Survivor legend to have a second stint in the spotlight in the 2020s! Parvati Shallow cemented her legacy as one of the best to ever play all the way back in 2010, helming some of the most impressive moves in the show's history. In her time away from the island, she went through some monumental life changes, but was able to show her Survivor shine never dulled, taking home her second win on the all-star season Australia V The World with arguably her greatest performance ever. Additionally, while known as a contestant first and foremost, Parvati has done a large amount of hosting work around Survivor over the years. She led the official CBS after-shows for four seasons, and did cast previews for TVGuide, even getting to vote Probst himself out of the game. And that small bit would prove prophetic if the "Black Widow" were able to extend her web out to another leg of Survivor production.

Cirie Fields Cirie Fields with the first-ever 'Spirit of Survivor' award at the 'Survivor 50' finale

We're not going too far for our next pick, as we're hopping over to Parvati's self-proclaimed "Survivor Soulmate." You'd be hard-pressed to say Cirie Fields isn't the most popular player in Survivor history, able to simultaneously showcase the lethal moves that people are capable of making, as well as the emotional journeys one can undergo to do more than you could ever imagine. Despite never winning, Cirie has established herself as one of the greatest players in the show's history, able to not only astoundingly make it to the endgame every time she plays but also do so with panache and power.

Her taking over would be the perfect follow-up to seemingly her final season on Survivor 50, where she earned not only the Fan Favorite prize, but the first-ever "Spirit of Survivor Award." Perhaps part of that trophy comes with a hosting job as well? Ideally, Probst's successor would be someone with authority, yet relaxed enough to let players drive conversation, in a position of respect, but able to comfort people at their worst with softness and sincerity. Given that criteria, you'd be hard-pressed not to couch Cirie in the discussion.

While empathy is certainly a must out of any good host, many Survivor fans would tell you their favorite version of Probst is what's colloquially known as "Spicy Jeff." There are myriad compilations online of his snarky retorts, sassy one-liners, and brutal call-outs over the past quarter-century. And if there were one alum who would fill that role perfectly, it would be Tyson Apostol. The Season 27 winner is one of the funniest players in the show's history, not afraid to call someone out either in confessional or to their face.

But, as Tyson has showcased over his four seasons on the show, he's more than just a wisecrack or ten. He's showcased an ability to manipulate and dominate a season, fighting against a handful of alumni and their loved ones to take home the win. And he's recently stepped into the hosting role on his podcast The Pod Has Spoken, recapping and analyzing the show, as well as conducting exit interviews with current players. With a mind for the game and a talent for commentary, there wouldn't be many feathers ruffled (or rustled) if he stepped in as host.

If we're speaking about former players who podcast about Survivor, we can't not mention the biggest of them all: Rob Cesternino. After competing twice, the once-called "smartest player to never win" revolutionized the media landscape around the show with Rob Has a Podcast. For 16 years, he's turned his Survivor superfandom into his life's passion, creating a veritable media empire, a stint on The Traitors, and, most recently, a New York Times-bestselling book.

Simply put, if Survivor is looking for someone with plenty of experience both digging deep into the show and moderating conversations, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better Tribal Council emcee than Rob. Despite not having played since 2004, his role around the show is incredibly prominent, with several RHAP patrons and even a podcaster appearing as castaways. Outside of Probst, Rob is perhaps the person who has spent the most time out of anyone in human history thinking — and especially talking — about Survivor. It would be a prime opportunity for the "know-it-all" to show exactly what he does know.

Rick Devens Rick Devens on 'Survivor 50'

Of course, if we're talking about people with broadcast experience, we'd be hard-pressed not to bring up one of the biggest stars of Survivor's most recent season. Rick Devens has been a massive presence on both of his island stints so far, earning praise for his seemingly endless array of antics during the many times his back has been against the wall. Despite his adversity, though, what's notable about Devens is his unlimited font of positivity, an ability to mine the most amount of fun out of every experience, no matter how miserable it may be. That passion for Survivor is certainly something CBS would want in a host, as it would be assuredly contagious to the players themselves.

Plus, even amidst all the idol finds, fireworks and MrBeast coin flips Devens has caused during his time on Survivor, there's one resume point that stands out above all: The fact he has decades of experience as a morning news anchor. During Season 50, when Probst competed alongside the castaways as part of a twist, he even took over doing commentary, and predictably pulled it off with ease. At one point, production had a plan for Devens to be a part of Season 41, owning a market to sell advantages to players. Perhaps, all these years later, they can finally enact that plan — albeit with a large promotion.

Andrea Boehlke Andrea Boehlke

While Devens built a broadcasting career before playing on Survivor, Andrea Boehlke had the exact opposite trajectory. Despite playing her first time at only 21, her spunkiness and skills earned her appearances on two other seasons, making deep runs in all of them. But, starting in 2015, she parlayed her 15 minutes of fame into a full-on career, serving as an on-air talent for People. She even got the chance to go back out to Fiji a fourth time, but not as a contestant, doing preseason press for Survivor: Ghost Island.

Not to make this entire exercise a matter of age. But it should be mentioned that, out of the alumni mentioned so far, Andrea is by far the youngest at 37. Ideally, if Survivor were looking for a new host, they'd want someone they could hopefully get decades out of as well (Probst himself started hosting the show when he was 39). If the show is looking for a successful, media-savvy alum who can contribute longevity to the role, Andrea perfectly fits the bill. Plus, she needs a make-good for having her only seasons be three of the least popular in the show's history!

Jonathan LaPaglia 'Australian Survivor' host Jonathan LaPaglia

Let's say you're not looking to cast a former player in the host role. If you want to replace Jeff, why not simply get his Australian counterpart? Jonathan LaPaglia was working in the industry for 50 years as an actor before he landed the hosting gig in the reboot of Australian Survivor. And, while it took some time for him to get adjusted to the role, he eventually took to it like a koala to eucalyptus. Through his ten seasons on the show, he was able to strike a fantastic balance of wisecracking and peacekeeping, knowing how to play his part without taking up too much space. While he started his reality TV career with accusations of simply being a Probst clone, by the end of his tenure, some were calling him the best Survivor host the franchise has ever seen.

Tragically, Jonathan's time with Australian Survivor came to an end after ten seasons (ironically, in the instance where Parvati and Cirie crossed over into international waters) when he was let go by the network. While the show was able to continue with former champ David Genat taking over, his dismissal prompted a massive outcry, with many advocating he get another chance to host somewhere else. Plus, if Jonathan were to helm his second Survivor series, it wouldn't be that difficult to change all of the name tags in wardrobe from "JP" to "JLP"!

Joe Manganiello Joe Manganiello

Jonathan was far from the first celebrity to make their foray into reality TV hosting, nor was he the last. And one of the most recent actors to take on a hosting role was Joe Manganiello. The Magic Mike star strutted his stuff, leopard-print at all, as the emcee of two seasons of Deal or No Deal Island. And, for a concept as ridiculous on paper as "Deal or No Deal as a social strategy game," Manganiello was a perfect person for the emotionality and volatility of the high-stakes game, with people risking millions of dollars over picking the right briefcase.

It also helps, as the True Blood standout told Parade, that he's a massive Survivor fan. We saw that come out on DONDI, where he got to geek out with the likes of Boston Rob and Parvati as contestants. He would absolutely jump at the chance to follow in Probst's footsteps, clearly harboring a passion for both game design and storytelling. Give the man an island and a jungle, and he'll be on the next flight.

As we witnessed this spring, Survivor has accrued some quite famous fans over the years, spanning the wide world of entertainment from Jimmy Fallon to Billie Eilish. One of the many is Michelle Khare, a YouTuber who rose to prominence with her hit series Challenge Accepted. Having done everything from training like a NASA astronaut to running seven marathons on seven continents in seven days, she's a prominent example of throwing yourself into the unknown with an openness and eagerness to learn about yourself along the way.

Sound familiar? That's eerily similar to how Probst has described Survivor as of late, consistently saying, "The game is the lure; the experience is the prize." Now, compared to the people that came before Michelle on this list, this is admittedly more of a left-field choice. But, looking into her career more, Survivor might seem like the perfect fit. She's hosted a reality TV show before, helming the 2020 HBO Max kids show Karma. She's a huge fan, having attended the Season 50 finale. Perhaps we'll see a Challenge Accepted video in the near future titled "I Tried Hosting Survivor."

Someone we haven't met yet

From its early seasons, Survivor has instilled in its players the idea that they may not knowing what's coming the next day (even though a certain other CBS show has taken the "expect the unexpected" motto). So, in that vein, for all of our talk, it's very possible that we simply haven't seen the next host of Survivor yet. But, as Probst himself has teased, we may be seeing them as soon as this fall.

"Every so often I meet a player," he tells The Wrap. "There’s actually somebody in Season 51 that in casting, I think I said to them, 'You could probably host this show,' meaning your instincts as a storyteller and about people are so good that you could probably sit in this chair and you’d be just fine." It seems like the "open era" may end up being an open casting call for a possible future Survivor host as well!

When composer Bill Conti released "Gonna Fly Now" as part of the Rocky soundtrack in 1976, he didn't know the track would inspire generations far beyond the movie theater. After hitting No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1977 and earning an Oscar nomination, the song became so popular and inspiring that it eventually made its way to space and quickly became a go-to choice for NASA's astronaut wake-up calls in orbit.

NASA’s wake-up call tradition began in the early days of the Space Race as a way to help astronauts structure their days in orbit. What started as a scheduling tool during the Gemini and Apollo programs, featuring military songs, show tunes, and college fight songs, evolved into a daily ritual during the Space Shuttle era and later during the International Space Station missions.

Mission Control would play songs chosen by astronauts, their families, or flight directors at the start of each mission day. Over time, these wake-up calls became a way to boost morale, personalize long missions, and connect astronauts with their loved ones back on Earth.

The Rocky theme became a go-to in this tradition thanks to its motivational tone and association with perseverance and overcoming the odds. "Gonna Fly Now" made its NASA wake-up call debut during STS-41-C aboard the Challenger in 1984, where astronauts proved that satellites could be serviced while in orbit.

According to the site, this solar eclipse will cross the Westfjords, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, and the Reykjanes Peninsula before reaching greater Reykjavík. And it describes the event as starting when the Moon's shadow touches down on Icelandic soil at the Westfjords' Straumnes Lighthouse, first at approximately 5:44 p.m. local time and exiting the mainland by the Reykjanestá Lighthouse in about six minutes. It's set to sweep the sky from northwest to southwest. It notes that the relatively populated places, including Akureyri and Höfn, that travelers can visit will still offer up to 98 percent of the sun in silver-outlined obscurity.

The following are recommendations from Eclipse2026.is on where to go and the total duration, and varies depending on where you view it along the path.

Westfjords: Here is where you will get the longest totality on the mainland, clocking in at 2 minutes and 13 seconds at Látrabjarg. Ísafjörður, the region's largest town, will witness a totality lasting 1 minute and 31 seconds.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula: This is a highly picturesque place to be for the solar eclipse, just three hours from Reykjavík. In Hellissandur and Ólafsvík, the entire event will run close to 2 minutes. Meanwhile, it will last 1 minute and 50 seconds in Grundarfjörður. Expect crowds there, as the Kirkjufell mountain backdrop here draws a lot of people. For less touristy spots, try Arnarstapi and Búðir, which are adjacent to the Snæfellsjökull glacier.

Reykjanes Peninsula: Hit two bucket-list places at once with easy access from Keflavík International Airport. Spots such as Garður and Sandgerði, which also have The Blue Lagoon in the viewing patch, offer up to 1 minute 40 seconds of totality or about 1 minute 36 seconds from the water. This is super convenient if you're going for a quick trip.

Reykjavík: The capital will also be in the line of the eclipse if you happen to be there. However, it gets a shorter window, coming in at one minute downtown. Tall buildings can obstruct your view, so plan ahead to find a good spot in west-facing areas, as the sun will be low in the Western Sky.

What to know about booking flights to Iceland for the solar eclipse

Based on findings from the travel platform Kayak, flights are fluctuating right now, averaging around $1,200 round-trip from the United States at major airports on either coast. Demand is only going to intensify if travel flight patterns continue to dip due to low global summer vacation turnout, so there could be an opportunity to capitalize on an even cheaper flight. But we wouldn't bet on it.

Visit Iceland states that August can typically be one of the more expensive months to book trips to its destinations. The site advises, "If you're traveling to see the eclipse, plan to arrive in Iceland several days before August 12 and stay a few days afterward. Do not expect to arrive on the same day as the eclipse and still make it to a viewing location in time. Arriving early gives you more flexibility in case of weather changes and helps avoid the busiest travel periods," and it encourages prospective visitors to book rooms as soon as possible by offering adventurous accommodation suggestions, such as "Renting an RV is a flexible alternative that lets you adapt to changing weather conditions, and Iceland has countless campsites to choose from."

More than three decades after it helped turn Metallica into one of the biggest bands in the world, The Black Album is still finding new listeners.

The band's self-titled 1991 album has returned to two Billboard rankings this week, re-entering the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart at No. 47 while climbing to No. 9 on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart.

For most artists, chart success lasts a few months. For Metallica, it has lasted decades.

Released on Aug. 12, 1991, Metallica marked a major turning point for the group. The band's first four albums established Metallica as one of heavy metal's most influential acts, but The Black Album introduced a more streamlined sound that connected with a much broader audience without abandoning the band's signature power.

The record produced some of the most recognizable songs in rock history, including "Enter Sandman," "The Unforgiven," "Nothing Else Matters," "Sad but True" and "Wherever I May Roam." Those tracks helped propel the album to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where it spent four consecutive weeks atop the chart.

Its long-term success has been even more remarkable.

The Black Album has now spent 547 weeks on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums chart and 466 weeks on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums ranking. It previously reached No. 1 on both charts and remains one of the most successful catalog albums ever released.

The album also reached a major milestone in 2025 when it was certified 2× Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America, signifying more than 20 million copies sold in the United States alone. Worldwide sales have topped 30 million copies, placing it among the best-selling albums in music history.

Critics and fans alike have long viewed the album as a landmark release. In addition to bringing heavy metal further into the mainstream, it helped establish Metallica as a stadium-filling global act. Rolling Stone later included the record on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

"After a decade of breaking metal’s speed limits, Metallica pared down their sound to the bare bones for their self-titled Black Album. 'Enter Sandman' became a blockbuster because listeners finally had the space to sing along with James Hetfield’s bleak vision," wrote Rolling Stone. "Metallica achieved maximum heaviness on “Sad but True” by letting their guitars ring out for once ... and showed unusual depth for a band named Metallica with the sincere, no-bulls--t ballad 'Nothing Else Matters.'"

The renewed chart success comes as Metallica remains an active touring force. The band is currently traveling the world on its M72 World Tour, which recently made headlines after guitarist Kirk Hammett took a fall from the stage during a concert in Dublin. Hammett quickly returned to the performance and later joked about the incident on social media, reassuring fans that he was unharmed.

Few albums released in 1991 are still charting in 2026. Fewer still are adding to chart runs that already stretch into the hundreds of weeks.

Nearly 34 years after its release, The Black Album remains exactly what it has been for generations of rock fans: essential.

It’s hard to believe that “Roxanne” by The Police included an amusing mistake at the start, especially when it flawlessly fits into the music.

Sure enough, the first big hit for the British band features a hilarious mistake, and the whole band decided to keep it. You can hear it in the first fix to six seconds of the song, a chord and laugh that sounds like it perfectly fits with the style of the track, and it was actually a “butt dial” of sorts. Literally played by Sting’s behind.

Sting explained it in an interview that he “just wanted to rest.” As he sat back on what he thought was a closed piano lid, he quickly found out that the keys were exposed, and he played an odd chord while recording. He even laughed at his own clumsiness, and all of that was kept in the recording of the song, because “it was real.”

The 1978 track nearly didn’t take off in the way that it would eventually be known. In fact, it was banned from the radio airwaves by the BBC in the UK, with the view that the song was too explicit with hidden meanings. 

The decision angered the band, especially when “Banned by the BBC” was put on posters and still didn’t do anything to stir people toward the track. According to a 2023 interview, Sting shared that, “There was no talk about fucking in it, it wasn’t a smutty song in any sense of the word. It was a real song with a real, felt lyric, and they wouldn’t play it on the grounds that it was about a prostitute.”

Sure enough, the song itself was about a prostitute, and it came about because Sting realized how beautiful some of the girls were when he first saw them on the streets. However, they didn’t have much to work with apart from a general story in the song, and it was drummer Stewart Copeland who suggested that they infused the rock with the tango sound. Guitarist Andy Summers explained, “Stewart put that slight reggae thing on, and Sting changed where he put the bass beats. We worked it up in one afternoon.”

Thanks to an underground radio station in Texas, “Roxanne” gained popularity. From there, other radio stations in the United States picked up the song, and while it didn’t hit the No. 1 spot, it did help to put The Police, finally, on the map. They would walk away with two No. 1 hits in 1979 with “Message in a Bottle” and “Walking on the Moon.”

Since then, “Roxanne” has become one of the most renowned songs by The Police around the world. It was covered in Moulin Rouge, adding more of a tango style to the track, and artists such as George Michael and Fall Out Boy have put their own styles to the track.

In 1977, Suzi Quatro made her acting debut on Happy Days.

The singer played the recurring character Leather Tuscadero in seven episodes of the beloved ABCsitcom between 1977 and 1979. But when she started out, she was very much outside of her comfort zone.

In a recent interview with Classic Rock magazine, Quatro, now 76, recalled that her agent convinced her to audition for the show, which she wasn’t familiar with at the time. “I flew over for the audition – I’d never acted before,” she shared.

After the “Devil Gate Drive” singer won the role of the rockin’ younger sister of  Fonzie’s (Henry Winkler) girlfriend Pinky Tuscadero (Roz Kelly), she was still nervous due to her lack of acting experience—especially when it came time to tape in front of a studio audience.

“My first time on the show, I was standing backstage, ready to come into Arnold’s diner,” Quatro shared. “I’d done the rehearsals, but this was in front of a live audience. Henry Winkler, as Fonzie, came up to me and said: ‘How you doing? Okay?’ I said: ‘Henry, I gotta tell you, I’m a little bit nervous.’ He said: “I’ve watched your rehearsal. You’re gonna kill it. Go - you’re on.”

The leather-clad rocker sauntered onstage obliviously, thinking to herself, “I got this.”

“I got to my mark and went to speak, but the director said: ‘Excuse me, Miss Quatro. What are you doing here?’” she recalled. “It was like somebody threw water in my face. I said: ‘That was my entrance.’ He said: ‘No, you’ve got another page yet.’"

Embarrassed, Quatro walked off stage to find Winkler in stitches.

“I walked back, and Henry was on the floor, laughing,” she said. “He did it on purpose. He said to me: ‘Now nothing more can go wrong. Go out and enjoy yourself.’ That took my nerves away. And when I came out again, the applause was huge.”

Despite Winkler’s prank, Quatro had fond memories of her time on Happy Days. In 2022, she told Metal Talk she loved Winkler and co-star Ron Howard “dearly” and kept in touch with them.

“I asked Ron Howard about my Happy Days role, and I asked him if it ever felt like I was a new actress or that I was new to the show, and he said, ‘No, it felt like you had always been there,’” she shared.

She also noted that Howard, a former child star dating back to the 1960s, advised her to never take acting classes.

“I asked him why not, and he said, ‘Because what you do is organic and natural, and acting classes would ruin you,’” she shared. “So that’s actually a big compliment. And Henry’s just a sweetheart …  So I made good friends on Happy Days, it was a good thing to do, a good decision, and I valued my time there.”

As for Winkler’s prank, it was just his way of making Quatro feel comfortable on the Happy Days set.

During a June 2026 appearance on Ted Danson’s Where Everybody Knows Your Namepodcast, the actor revealed that after a difficult first day on the set of his first TV acting job—The Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1973—he vowed that he would “never let another actor” feel alone on a set that he was on.

Rebecca Gayheart kept Eric Dane close to her heart on Father's Day as she and the Grey's Anatomy actor's two daughters marked the first holiday milestone since his death in February.

The Beverly Hills, 90210alum, 54, took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday, June 21, to honor the late Euphoria star, who died in February at age 53, less than a year after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Sharing a photo of Dane with their two daughters, Billie, 16, and Georgia, 14, Gayheart wrote, "I hurt for my girls today."

She continued, "It's a 'first' of many to come. I know Eric is looking out for them every day."

Dane and Gayheart tied the knot in 2003 and separated in 2018, but in March 2025, the Jawbreaker star withdrew her divorce petition, and she cared for Dane throughout his ALS diagnosis.

Just weeks after Dane's death, Gayheart told Varietythat she and her family were "in a state of shock" to lose him.

"I just want to thank everybody for being so kind to us during the last couple of years. It’s been challenging and meaningful, and people are kind," the actress said at the time, thanking her supporters for all of the love they had shown her since Dane's passing.

A week later, Gayheart remembered Dane with a sweet video montage on Instagram, which she captioned, "There are no words. All our love forever — your girls."

Prior to Dane's death, he secretly recorded a special for Netflix as part of their new series, Famous Last Words, which he dedicated to his two daughters.

"Billie and Georgia, these words are for you," the star began his final interview segment. "I tried. I stumbled sometimes, but I tried. Overall, we had a blast, didn't we?"

After sharing his advice for their futures, Dane concluded, "I hope I've demonstrated that you can face anything. You can face the end of your days. You can face hell with dignity. Fight girls, and hold your heads high. Billie and Georgia, you are my heart. You are my everything. Good night. I love you. Those are my last words."

Mia Calabrese is ready to move forward after an emotional first season on Summer House, but that does not mean everything feels fully resolved.

After the Season 10 reunion and the bonus episode, Summer House: The Aftermath, Calabrese tells Parade exclusively that she still has questions about what happened inside the friend group, especially when it comes to the fallout involving Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula and West Wilson.

"I do have some unanswered questions," Calabrese says. "And I don't expect them to ever get answered."

The Bravo newcomer also opened up about supporting Miller at the reunion, what surprised her most about filming reality TV, why she chose to share personal details about grief and motherhood on camera and the lighter energy she wants to bring into summer.

Coming off such an intense Summer House reunion and the bonus episode, how are you feeling now that everything is out there? Do you have any unanswered questions?

Great question. I do have some unanswered questions. And I don't expect them to ever get answered. Or rather, be answered, and I'll just have to live with that.

But I'm ready to move on with my life. I've seen people's true colors, and I just have to put that behind me now.

There has been so much conversation about Amanda and West, the timeline and the way it affected the larger friend group. From your perspective, what was the hardest part of watching all of that unfold?

The friendship betrayal was by far the hardest thing. I saw the entire summer, Ciara console Amanda for weeks and weeks. And this was my first season. This has been happening for years.

Ciara was speaking life into Amanda, and I think the most difficult part of it all was the friendship betrayal. I honestly couldn't believe it at first, and I refused to believe it.

In fact, I remember telling Ciara, I will need Amanda to physically say herself that she's doing this in order for me to believe this, because that's how unbelievable it was to me.

Why Mia Calabrese spoke up at the reunion

You came into Summer House as a newer cast member, but you did not seem afraid to speak up at the reunion. Was there a moment where you knew you had to say something?

It's interesting. Obviously, we knew the reunion was coming, and I didn't know how Ciara was going to show up that day, because that was a very traumatizing and heartbreaking experience for her.

She showed up and showed out, though. I'm so proud of her. But I didn't know what it was going to be like for her, and I was showing up for my best friend. That was it.

I knew I needed to be there for her and ask certain questions because I wanted her to feel some sense of closure. I didn't know what I was going to walk into, so I knew I was going to have to speak up.

Quite frankly, Ciara handled herself so well that I didn't even really need to be there. Ciara had it under control, but most importantly, I needed to show up for my friend.

Looking back on your first season, what surprised you most about filming reality TV versus watching it as a viewer?

I thought it was going to be more structured in the sense of producers stepping in constantly and feeding you things to say, and it's really not like that.

At least my experience with Summer House was that you show up to the house, you see the producers when you first get there, they're like, "Welcome back," and the weekend is really this organic experience and experiment with friends.

That was surprising, but also really cool.

You were also very open this season about your grief and wanting to be a mom someday. What made you ready to share such personal parts of your life on camera?

I was just being honest and true to myself of where I was in that moment when we were filming.

I didn't have any expectations of the show. I didn't know what was going to happen. I just wanted to be myself and put everything on the table as to what I was going through and where I was at in my life.

I knew, even if one person resonated with my experience with grief, if one person resonated with feeling stuck in a relationship where you don't feel like you're getting everything that you want, or you and your partner aren't in the same place, or if someone could resonate who's in their 30s, wanting to have children and that being so important to them, I knew that would be worth it.

To me, I think what's so incredible about reality TV, and just TV in general, is seeing yourself represented by someone else. Seeing yourself in someone.

At times, the world is really big. New York City is really big, but we can feel so alone at times. Especially alone in our own thoughts, alone in our grief, alone in our desires and our relationships. I think it's important to have that representation in any way on television.

The energy Mia Calabrese wants this summer

After a whirlwind few months, what kind of energy are you trying to bring into the summer? Do you have any exciting plans or trips coming up?

I'm going to Cannes Lions next week, which I'm very excited about.

Beyond that, I don't really have summer plans, nothing set in stone. I think for this summer, I just want to have fun and have different experiences and meet new people and just be flirty and light and have a blast.

Between long weekends, late nights filming and staying camera-ready, what are the beauty and wellness essentials you always keep on hand?

You need to have a liquid IV of some sort. I don't care if it's that particular brand. You need lots of water. You need sunscreen.

Mosquitoes love me. I think it's because I have sweet blood. You need bug spray.

You need a tinted moisturizer, you need concealer, because if you're having a long night, you need to freshen up under your eyes. A toothbrush, some toothpaste, mouthwash.

And I love a heating pad. I actually travel with mine.

What is one summer beauty trend you're fully behind right now, and one you're ready to retire?

A summer beauty trend is always SPF. You should be wearing SPF year-round, but SPF is important. And I love the glowy skin.

However my skin can look as glowy as possible all year round, but especially in the summer, very important.

One that I'm not into anymore is makeup wipes. I'm really not. I love micellar waters. I like the one from Garnier. I feel like there was a moment where everyone was like, just use a makeup wipe. I don't like that. I like a micellar water.

Since you're partnering with Walgreens on your ultimate summer must-haves, what are the drugstore staples you think people really overlook, but actually need during the summer?

Aloe vera spray. If you're out in the sun too long, spray this on your skin. It's important. I like it because it's in a spray bottle. You could get the one in a gel, but this feels less messy.

A little mini deodorant. Go into Walgreens and go through their travel section. Keep a small deodorant on you. Not everybody needs to be wearing natural deodorant. If it doesn't work for you, that's okay.

I love a hypochlorous face spray. It helps cleanse, calm and soothe skin and reduces the appearance of redness. I just like it because it calms my skin.

Another thing: this L'Oréal face spray. This will keep your makeup in the same place it was when you put it on.

The Is This Thing On? actor, 56, was quick to snap back at his Arrested Developmentco-star during a conversation on the Monday, June 22, episode of their Smartless podcast after the chat veered into a discussion of Arnett's bathroom habits with his ex-wife.

"So then, Will," Bateman, 57, asked. "Did you ever poo in front of Amy?"

"Are you looking for clicks?" a shocked Arnett responded. "Are you trying to get something that we can click around?"

The DTF St. Louis actor was undeterred, however. "Wait, but hang on. You were married to her, had two kids," he pressed. "You guys never went to the bathroom in front of each other?"

Arnett held strong with his refusal, however, responding, "I'm sorry. The question is, did I poo in front of Amy? And you're saying that I don't have manners. What are you talking about?" He added, "It's not a good question. I refuse to answer it."

Arnett tied the knot with the Parks and Recreation star, 54, in 2003, and the two would go on to welcome sons Archie and Abel in 2008 and 2010, respectively, before announcing their separation in 2012. In 2014, Poehler filed for divorce from Arnett, and their split was finalized in 2016.

Despite their split, Arnett and Poehler have maintained a close relationship, with The Madison actor saying of their relationship on an April 2025 episode of Smartless, "I’m really, really lucky to have her as a partner in this way. There aren’t many people I speak to more than I speak to her, which is weird—you know what I mean? But it’s great."

Arnett added that Poehler is someone he still runs "a lot of stuff by," explaining, "She’s the person I go to, like, ‘Hey, I’m thinking about doing this.’ Whether it’s life or work, I really seek her counsel because it’s important to me—because I trust her. She’s awesome."

Few songs in country music history have ever managed to turn a tongue-in-cheek jab at the genre itself into a defining moment of the decade, but one 1975 honky tonk classic did exactly that.

David Allen Coe's "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" was a massive Billboard hit. It reached No. 8 on the country music charts in 1975.

The song was recently named as one of the Best Country Songs of the 1970s by UDiscover Music. The website wrote, "On this meta-classic, David Allan Coe doesn’t just mimic his fellow country music stars, but lampoons the tropes of country-western songwriting."

The passage concluded, "Though Coe only shouts out Steve Goodman, the song was co-written with John Prine. He asked to have his name left off the song because he was so worried it would offend establishment sensibilities."

According to the website Whisky Riff, Prine and Goodman initially wrote the song in 1971.

The outlet quoted Prine, who said, “I looked over his shoulder, and the words were, ‘It was all that I could do to keep from crying; sometimes it seemed so useless to remain.'"

"And I was feeling pretty good, so I jumped up on the bed and acted like I had an imaginary fiddle. I said, ‘You don’t have to call me darlin’, darlin’, but you never even call me by my name.’ So Steve and I started laughing, and we just decided to have some fun with it.”

Goodman originally recorded the song, but it didn’t become a country classic until David Allan Coe released his version in 1975. Coe leaned into the song's humor and added his now-famous spoken-word segment, where he jokingly discussed the song’s imperfections and what it needed to become a "perfect country and western song."

Coe said, "Well, a friend of mine named Steve Goodman wrote that song, and he told me it was the perfect country and western song. I wrote him back a letter and I told him it was not the perfect country and western song because he hadn't said anything at all about momma, or trains, or trucks, or prison or gettin' drunk."

"Well, he sat down and wrote another verse to this song and he sent it to me and after reading it I realized that my friend had written the perfect country and western song. And I felt obliged to include it on this album. The last verse goes like this."

Then Coe added the remainder of the lyrics. These included the passage, "I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison," and that he got to the station in a "pick-up truck," but his mother was "runned over" by the train.

What really makes "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" stand out is how it pulls off something only country music can really get away with. It's rebellious enough to poke at Nashville’s usual formulas, but it never feels mean about it.

At the same time, you can tell that Prince and Goodman genuinely loved the genre they teased, which is why fans embraced the song. As writers, they knew exactly what a country song is supposed to be, then turned around and had fun stretching those rules while still respecting them.

Below Deck has hosted several challenging guests, but fans are pretty convinced that Johnny and Michelle Damon's friend Josef may be at the top of the "worst" list.

The Damons returned to Below Deck Mediterranean, and Josef seemed unhappy with another charter guest even before they set foot on the boat. But it wasn't just the charter guest who set Josef off. He also growled at Bosun Nathan Gallagher on more than one occasion when Nathan made Josef's safety a priority. Feeling frustrated with Josef's reaction, Nathan admitted to wanting to get in Josef's face over his behavior.

Thankfully, Captain Sandy Yawn talked Nathan down, explaining that the best way to diffuse a situation like this is with calm and to avoid allowing feelings to take hold. And while Nathan embraced what Captain Sandy told him, Josef found his way to the bridge, where Nathan was on anchor watch, and he was looking for a fight.

Nathan joked, “I’m about to get fired,” because he seemingly won’t be able to hold back. Now, Below Deck fans are hoping he keeps Captain Sandy’s advice front and center so the exchange doesn’t go nuclear.

In one Below DeckInstagram thread, some fans agreed with Nathan. "Poor Nathan. I wouldve said " Guess Im getting fired " too LMAO," one person wrote. Others were here for Nathan to hold it together. "Keep your cool Nathan!!" another person added.

"I PRAY Nathan doesn’t loose his s—t on Josef and doesn’t get fired," one person wrote on Bravo's Below DeckInstagram thread. "that guy is not worth his time."

In another Instagram thread, fans applauded the way Nathan handled the situation. "Nathan asked him to move inside. That dude didn’t listen so then Nathan asked him again to move inside. It’s not Nathan’s fault the guy can’t listen," a commenter wrote. But another viewer felt Nathan could have explained the situation better to the guest, writing, “Nathan could have done a better job explaining why it’s a safety issue.”

But most fans agreed that this guest was completely out of line. "Imagine what he was like behind closed doors that girl was smart to leave she knew," one person wrote with another adding, "Oh yeah I definitely think that that is the worst harder [guest] and I haven't even seen that season yet!"

One person wrote that there was probably nothing the crew could have done to make him happy. "All the money in the world can’t find that guy happiness."

Brand New, the highly influential rock band from Long Island, is celebrating a major milestone with a surprise treat for fans.

Following their seven-year-long hiatus, the band continued its comeback with a 2026 tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me.

Released in 2006, the record was the band's third album and helped them cement their status as one of the most influential bands of the 2000s.

Twenty years later, Brand New is honoring that milestone with a 16-date tour across North America.

“Brand New 2026 Tour - 7 years + 13 of The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me,” the caption reads, with fans speculating that “13” refers to the album's 12 tracks plus the bonus song “Luca (Reprisal Version).”

According to the band, the pre-sale of tickets will start on June 24 while the general sale will be on June 26.

The tour kicks off in Nashville this September, covering major cities in Illinois, Michigan, Ontario, New York, Pennsylvania, California and more before concluding in Arizona in November.

Before the upcoming North American tour, Brand New played a secret performance in Nashville in 2024, followed by multiple reunion shows in 2025, which include a concert in Dallas, Texas.

At the time, the band, composed of frontman and rhythm guitarist Jesse Lacey, lead guitarist Vincent Accardi, bassist Garrett Tierney and drummer Brian Lane, performed an 18-song setlist that included the live debuts of "Waste" and "Batter Up."

Coincidentally, this was also the location where the quartet played its last concert in 2017 before its seven-year gap.

The hiatus was due to the controversy surrounding Lacey after he was accused of multiple counts of sexual misconduct.

The Beatles were no strangers to the Billboard charts, but one of their most iconic albums just made a surprise return 57 years after its release.

The 1969 classic Abbey Road re-entered the Billboard 200 for the week ending June 27, marking its 506th overall week on the coveted album chart. The album re-entered quietly at No. 199, most likely due to a streaming uptick of its tracks, a social media trend, or an increase in vinyl sales.

The final album recorded by the Beatles, Abbey Road was originally released in September 1969 and went to No. 1 in the UK and the United States. Its initial U.S. chart stay ran for 83 weeks, with 11  of them at the number one spot, per the official Beatles website.

Known for its iconic album cover featuring Beatles bandmates John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison crossing a London street in single file, Abbey Road includes some of the group’s most famous songs, such as “Come Together,” “Something,” and “Here Comes the Sun.” The album also famously features a 16-minute, eight-song medley on its second side, starting with “You Never Give me Your Money" and lasting through “The End.”

In a 1969 interview with The Evening Standard, McCartney made one thing clear: “There is no theme to Abbey Road," he said. “There never is a theme to any of our albums, although some people saw one in Sgt. Pepper.”

Most of the songs on the album were written by Lennon and McCartney, but Harrison’s growth as a songwriter was shown with his contributions of "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun." Of “Something,” McCartney said, “This to my mind the best song George has ever written.”

When asked about the B-side medley, known as “The Long One,”  McCartney explained that the suite consisted of unfinished songs.

“We did it this way because both John and I had a number of songs which were great as they were, but which we’d never finished,” he told The Evening Standard. “It often happens that you write the first verse of a song and then you’ve said it all and can’t be bothered to write a second verse, repeating or giving a variation. So, I asked John if he had any bits and pieces which they could make into one long track? He had, and we made a piece that makes sense all the way through.”

Because  Abbey Road was such an epic masterpiece, no one dreamed it would be The Beatles' final recording together.

In an interview with Music Radar, former sound engineer Geoff Emerick noted, "The only hint they gave me, or anybody, was on the album cover, where they're walking across the street. For people who don't know the geography, they're actually walking away from the EMI Studios - or Abbey Road, as everybody knows it now. This was intentional on their part - they didn't want to be seen as walking toward the studio. When I saw that photo, I did think to myself, 'They're sending a message.'”

In 2019, Abbey Road was reissued for its 50th anniversary, complete with newly mixed versions of the classic Beatles songs. Years later, the album continues to attract new generations, as seen by its latest re-entry on Billboard.
