Miley Cyrus Puts on Powerful Display Wearing Black Underwear Set in 'Pre-Grammy Win' Photo

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 4:34pm

Miley Cyrus is on fire—and many say poised for a few Grammy wins—in her latest powerful post.

The pop songstress took to Instagram on Friday, Feb. 2, with a snapshot of herself posing in a black underwear set, sunglasses, and matching pointed-toe pumps, eliciting quite the response from her devoted supporters.

In the shot, she stood in front of a white backdrop, hands on hips, while putting all her weight on one leg. Her hair was styled in a voluminous, combed-back bouffant-reminiscent manner, giving the shot a touch of old Hollywood glamor.

On X (formerly Twitter), more photos from the shoot surfaced, seen in Polaroid-style images that looked to be laid out on a table.

Though Cyrus left the image she uploaded caption-less, it seems her fans took it upon themselves to campaign for what the caption could have been, and they were mostly surrounding her numerous Grammy nominations.

"YOUR POWER," the official Instagram account of skincare brand Sol de Janeiro wrote in the comment section, alongside a fire flame and clapping hands emoji.

"Fierce Bad b---h energy," someone else chimed in, while another said, "The Grammy is coming."

"CATEGORY IS : WINNER OF THE NIGHT," an additional fan quipped, while another insisted the capture was already a "Pre-Grammy win" in itself.

Someone else put a clever twist on the name of the awards show, writing, "It’s not the GRAMMYs this year it’s the GRAMMILEYs."

Many social media users across both sharing platforms are, instead, convinced she's teasing a new era, with two obvious supporters of the content dropping comments like, "NEW ERA I SCREAM" and "I LOVE THIS ERA CAUSE ITS SO SEX AND THE CITY!!"

The 31-year-old received a total of six nods this year for her 2023-released project, Endless Summer Vacation, including in the highly-coveted Record of the Year and Song of the Year categories for the album's lead single "Flowers."

Heidi Klum Makes Heads Turn in Little Black Dress With Bold Chest Cutouts

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 3:34pm

Heidi Klum stunned on the red carpet with a gorgeous little black dress that took some bold steps in its design.

Klum, 50, was photographed after arriving at Warner Music Group’s annual pre-Grammys party on Feb. 1 at Citizen News in Los Angeles.

The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model posed on the red carpet wearing a tight mid-thigh dress seemingly designed to make heads turn with the striking display of its chest cutouts. Klum smiled at the camera and waved as she posed in the black number, a creation of the New York-based designer LaQuan Smith.

Klum shared photos and a video of her red carpet look on Instagram. She mentioned DJ Tiësto, the producer of her new song “Sunglasses at Night,” in her video caption.

The America’s Got Talent host dropped her single, a cover of Corey Hart’s song from his 1983 debut album First Offense, last week. She also released a video in support of the cover song, which fittingly features her sporting sunglasses and dancing in slow motion to the ’80s synth-style music.

Klum recently told Billboard that she views music as “a fun thing to do” and approached Tiësto about working on the song together. She credited her exposure to the “music world” as providing her with “the opportunity to connect the dots and make these things happen.”

One year ago, Klum similarly captivated fans with her red carpet look at the 2023 Grammys. At last year’s awards show, the model wore a deep plunging gold gown featuring an intricate chain design.

This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Feb. 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Comedian and former Daily Show host Trevor Noah will be hosting the show for his fourth consecutive year. Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo and SZA are among the artists expected to perform during the ceremony.

Why Rob Gronkowski Believes Travis Kelce Is the Only Guy in the NFL Who Can Handle Taylor Swift Romance Attention (Exclusive)

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 3:09pm

Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski knows a thing or two about being in the spotlight. As a former wingman to GOAT quarterback Tom Brady, the retired NFL tight end has spent plenty of time under a magnifying glass himself. But recently, Gronk shared his candid opinion about the attention Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance has attracted this season.

During an exclusive Zoom interview with Parade, Gronk opened up about all things related to Super Bowl LVIII, game-time snacks—and yes, even Swelce/Tayvis mania—while promoting Bounty's Ultimate Wingmen campaign.

"I think it's great," Gronkowski shared. "I think Travis Kelce is kind of the only guy in the NFL that can handle this type of attention as well."

For Gronk, the proof is in the results. Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the San Francisco 49ers at the 2024 Super Bowl on Feb. 11.

"It hasn't affected him one bit. I mean, he's showing up week in and week out on the field every Sunday," the current Fox Sports NFL analyst told Parade. "He's producing big-time catches when needed on third down, he's producing big time catches in the red zone for some touchdowns as well. "

Gronkowski continued: "So Travis, man, I know the guy. He's fun, He's entertaining. And he can handle all the pressure that's thrown out, thrown at him. No doubt."

Gronk-Travis-Taylor (0:29)

Of course, Gronkowski started dating model and TV personality Camille Kostek in 2015, when he played for the Patriots, so he had a tiny taste of what it's like as a professional athlete dating someone from the entertainment industry.

Kelce and Swift may be on a whole other level of superstar coupledom in the NFL—but no matter what happens, Gronk has faith in his fellow tight end to handle it like a champ.

For Kelce's sake, hopefully, he'll handle it as a Super Bowl champ on Feb. 11!

Japanese Embassy Issues Statement on Taylor Swift's Super Bowl Travels

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 3:02pm

The Super Bowl is right around the corner, and people everywhere have been asking one burning question about the big game: is Taylor Swift going to make it?

Fans haven't been so sure if Swift will be able to travel to Las Vegas to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce play in the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, as the "Cruel Summer" songstress is scheduled to perform a concert in Tokyo, Japan, the night before.

While Swifties have been doing the math to see if the Grammy-winner has enough time to make it back to the U.S. for the game, some have been worried that she might miss the Chiefs taking on the San Francisco 49ers—or worse, that she might rush her concert in order to make it there on time.

But on Friday, Feb. 2, the Japanese embassy sent out a statement to reassure everyone that it is totally possible for Swift to make it back in plenty of time, as long as she hops on a plane right after her show.

"The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII," began the statement, issued via X (formerly Twitter).

"Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins."

— Japan Embassy DC🌸 (@JapanEmbDC) February 2, 2024

"We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red," the statement—which was sprinkled with references to Swift's albums—concluded.

Swift's upcoming shows in Japan mark her first time back on tour since November 2023. After just a few months off, Swift will make a return to stage at the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday, Feb. 7, and is scheduled to play three additional shows on that Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Salma Hayek Leaves Fans in Awe by Shaking Her Hips on a Treadmill

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 2:52pm

Salma Hayek is wowing fans with a new dance-happy video celebrating Shakira’s 47th birthday.

The Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress’ video is paired with the chorus from “Hips Don’t Lie,” Shakira’s 2005 hit with Wyclef Jean. The video shows Hayek, 57, from several angles as she shakes her hips while on a treadmill. She’s dressed in a black T-shirt, black sweatpants and sneakers as she flips her hair, poses in front of a full-length mirror and dances along to the song, All the while, the treadmill keeps her feet in motion.

The clips of Hayek dancing are cross-cut with video footage from Shakira’s music video. Hayek paid tribute to the Grammy-winning singer on Feb. 2 as she shared her video on Instagram.

“Happy birthday Queen Shakira, you are a musical goddess,” Hayek wrote. “Thank you for your music.”

Hayek added a “disclaimer” to her caption, warning her Instagram followers: “If you don’t have Latin or Arab blood, don’t try this at home.”

Several of Hayek’s fans laughed at the “disclaimer” as they left comments on her post about her dancing and shared their own birthday wishes for the “Whenever, Wherever” songstress.

“I have both Latin and Arab blood, so I will be trying this at home,” one person joked. Others suggested additional ethnicities that they felt should be exempt from her warning.

Taylor Swift Could Break a Major Record at the 2024 Grammys

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 1:40pm

Taylor Swift is already a bona fide history-maker, and she doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

In fact, the "Bejeweled" singer could once again make history  at the upcoming 2024 Grammy Awards, where she is nominated in six major categories, including Album of the Year for her album Midnights

If Swift, 34, comes out on top for the most prestigious award of the evening, she will be the first artist in Grammy history to receive the honor four times.

The pop superstar is already the female artist with the most AOTY wins with three under her belt, but that still leaves her tied with Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Frank Sinatra. (Swift previously won the title for her albums Fearless in 2010,  1989 in 2016 and folklore in 2021.)

A victory at this year's award show could further solidify Swift's reputation as a dominating force in the industry, and could also be the perfect way to cap off her year of monumental success defined by her record-breaking Eras tour, two chart-topping album releases, and her box office hit, The Eras Tour Film

But the AOTY award isn't in the bag for Swift yet, as she is still up against some tough competition, including Jon Batiste (World Music Radio), Boygenius (The Record), Miley Cyrus (Endless Summer Vacation), Lana Del Rey (Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd), Janelle Monáe (The Age of Pleasure), Olivia Rodrigo (Guts) and SZA (SOS).

A win for SZA or Monáe would also be one for the history books, as either artist could become the first Black woman this century to win Album of the Year. The last woman to do so was Lauryn Hill, who took home the top prize 25 years ago in 1999.

And there's still more records to break, especially for Swift, who could grab her first-ever victory in the Song of the Year category for her popular track "Anti-Hero." With seven nominations, Swift is the most-nominated artist in that category, though she's never won.

There will be plenty of big wins to catch during the 66th Grammy Awards, taking place Sunday, Feb. 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The ceremony will broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.

Internet Reacts to Demi Lovato Singing 'Heart Attack' at American Heart Association Event

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 1:14pm

After a video of Demi Lovato performing "Heart Attack" at the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection event earlier this week went viral, internet users judged her over her song choice.

The 2013 tune, which likens the vulnerability of falling in love to that of a heart attack and includes lyrics like, "So I'm putting my defenses up' / Cause I don't wanna fall in love / If I ever did that, I think I'd have a heart attack," was certified 5x Platinum and immediately became a hit across the nation.

That said, her fans didn't find the performance appropriate, with one TikToker calling the decision "questionable, to say the least."

Others flooded the comments with remarks like "This feels like something that would’ve happened on Parks & Rec" and "When you said 'questionable' I was like 'No way she’s gonna do it… no way…'"

"When 'give your heart a break' WAS RIGHT THERE DEMI," someone else suggested, referencing another popular song from the singer.

In light of the pushback, a representative for Lovato explained there was actually a reason for performing that particular hit.

"She spoke on the mind-heart connection. It was a sensitive moment intended to champion the women in the room — the very reason why Demi was at the event," her rep told Entertainment Weekly via email. "She did open with a beautiful intro on why she chose the song and addressed the room, talking about the mind and heart connection. It was actually a beautiful moment."

While some TikTokers were shocked by the moment, others caught on to the idea that it was likely intentional.

"I heard her give an interview talking about how hard that song is for her to sing since she’s had one, and that singing it is taking back the positive," one Lovatic wrote, referencing Lovato's May 2020 interview with Harper's Bazaar

In it, the 31-year-old artist suggested she would "never perform" one of her hits again "because of something that happened during my overdose. If you have a song called ‘Broken Leg,’ and you went and broke your leg, you’re not going to want to sing that song ever again, probably."

Though Lovato didn't call out that title specifically, fans have assumed it to be the song after statements made in their 2021 YouTube docuseries Dancing With the Devil.

"I actually don't think people realize how bad it actually was," Lovato said of her near-fatal overdose. "I had three strokes. I had a heart attack. I suffered brain damage from the strokes. I can't drive anymore. And I have blind spots in my vision so sometimes when I go to pour a glass of water, I'll totally miss the cup because I can't see it. I also had pneumonia because I asphyxiated and had multiple organ failure...I'm really lucky to be alive. My doctors said that, like, I had five to 10 more minutes. And had my assistant not come in, I wouldn't be here today."

Donna Kelce's Facebook Featured Photo Now Includes Taylor Swift

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 12:44pm

Donna Kelce offered another subtle show of support for her son Travis' relationship with Taylor Swift, this time via her personal Facebook page.

On Thursday, Feb. 1, Mama Kelce updated her Facebook cover photo to be a picture featuring herself alongside her ex-husband, Ed, her youngest son's pop superstar girlfriend, and several others.

The now-famous image was initially taken in the Chiefs VIP suite during the celebrations following Kansas City's AFC Championship victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 28, and shared by one of Swift's close friends, Keleigh Teller.

— swiftie wins 🍉 (@swifferwins) February 1, 2024

Other photos to originate that night included a snap of the 12-time Grammy winner wearing the record-breaking NFL star's hat, the viral picture of the "Shake It Off" songstress posing with fellow WAGs Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell, the iconic photo of Swift kissing her beau on the field after the game, not to mention, the two seemingly getting caught by the cameras while in the middle of exchanging "I love yous."

Swifties were also left "in shambles" after photographers caught Mama Kelce and Swift hugging it out to celebrate Travis' win.

Both Donna and Ed have previously shared their approval of Swift, with Papa Kelce telling reporters in Oct. 2023 that he thinks "they're great" and work because they share a similar work ethic and can embrace the most authentic version of each other. Donna simply said, "I'm just glad that he's happy."

In a separate Nov. 2023 statement, Donna elaborated on what she thought of Swift, calling the singer "extremely, extremely talented" and admitting she "was just totally enthralled" with her Eras tour concert film, further admiring her "presence to be able to connect with people."

Kanye West's Wife Bianca Censori Appears in Completely Sheer Bodysuit

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 12:40pm

Kanye West just can't seem to get enough of his wife Bianca Censori posing for his Yeezy brand.

The rapper, 46, once again shared footage of his scantily-clad wife modeling for his fashion line, and this time the architect was close to baring it all in a completely sheer jumpsuit.

In a video shared to Ye's Instagram Story, Censori could be seen standing in the middle of a circle made up of other lookalike models wearing the exact same bodysuit with matching fur boots.

Censori, 29, appeared to be going braless while strutting her stuff in the completely see-through garment.

See the footage here.

It's no surprise to see West's wife leave so little to the imagination, as the Donda rapper has recently been having her model all sorts of barely-there clothing pieces, including micro thongs, itty-bitty bikini tops and his skimpy signature "WET" tank top

But the provocative posts—which are often erratically posted and deleted from his IG page that was recently scrubbed clean—have started to garner some concern among fans, particularly those feeling "creeped out" by West posting nearly nude photos of his wife online.

Some internet users have labeled the strange posts as "uncomfortable,"  accusing the artist of "objectifying" his wife and "seemingly trying to erase her autonomy."

"Imagine North gets married and her husband posts her like this," one commenter previously wrote in response to one of Ye's posts, pointing out the hypocrisy of West being so strict about his own daughter posting videos on TikTok while he is sharing such risqué photos of someone else's daughter.

"So North and Chicago can dress like this when they’re older? You’re ok with your kids walking around seeing ppl wearing nothing out in public? This is moronic not genius at all," another previously lamented.

Many fans are also just tired of West's strange posts of his wife, and would rather him focus on his upcoming music. The rapper is expected to drop, Vultures, a joint album with Ty Dolla $ign, next week.

Wendy Williams to Go Into Depth on Health Struggles in Rare, Emotional New Documentary

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 12:31pm

Wendy Williams is set to hit the screen again, but this time, in a much more intimate way.

The media maven—who stepped away from The Wendy Williams Show after 14 seasons while dealing with health complications—is set to go into depth for fans with a look at some of the struggles she's been enduring as of late, as seen in a new clip from an upcoming documentary entitled Where Is Wendy Williams?

The 59-year-old became overwhelmed with emotion in the first trailer for the TV special, which is set to air on Lifetime in a two-night feature event. It will chronicle Williams' health decline, in addition to addressing personal and financial woes.

Related: Wendy Williams Cancels Appearance Last Minute Amid Health Concerns

While the initial shared trailer was deleted just minutes after being posted on social media, in it, Williams claimed she has "no money," and broke down in tears as she explained her struggles with both mental and physical illness following the end of her talk show.

“I have no money, and I’m gonna tell you something,” Williams said in the trailer, “If it happens to me, it could happen to you.”

For those unaware, the former radio show DJ also went through a less-than-pleasant divorce from ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, which also added to stressors.

The longtime media expert can also be seen having mobility issues, while also including her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., who told the camera she's "done a really good job at making it seem like everything's okay, but in reality, there's something wrong going on."

The official description reads: “After Wendy Williams was placed under a financial guardianship and her hit talk show was unexpectedly canceled, she was determined to make a career comeback. Opening the doors to her private life like never before, cameras chronicled her comeback journey to reclaim her life and legacy despite facing health issues and personal turbulence. With unparalleled access granted by Wendy to film with her and her family for nearly two years, what was captured was not what anyone expected."

It continues: "The documentary provides a raw, honest and unfiltered reality of Wendy’s life after she was placed under financial guardianship, shedding light on the vulnerabilities that has turned Wendy into the Hot Topic herself. Suffering mental and physical issues, Wendy’s delicate state of mind, erratic behavior and declining health were all captured by the cameras. Where Is Wendy Williams? is the story of Wendy’s journey to resurrect her career, and what filmmakers discovered along the way. But many questions remain — who truly has Wendy’s best interest at heart? Is she healthy now?”

Though certainly not under the best circumstances, the snippet was a treat for fans of the broadcasting guru and talk show queen, whom have not seen or heard much from her due to her ongoing medical conditions.

The video is the first time Williams has been spotted in nearly a year, with the last time she was photographed in public being outside of an NYC eatery.

In addition to Graves' disease, the former TV personality also struggles with lymphedema, hyperthyroidism, and other physical ailments, as well as having gone through multiple bouts with substance abuse, which she has entered rehab and wellness centers for in the past.

Audrey Hepburn's Simple Flourless Chocolate Cake is a Timeless Classic

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 12:30pm

There's nothing more romantic than curling up on the couch with a classic Audrey Hepburn movie. And this Valentine's Day, why not pair Roman Holiday with one of the actress's favorite desserts? Hepburn's son, Luca Dotti, published a book of his mother's recipes in 2015 titled Audrey at Home: Memories of My Mother's Kitchen.

From Penne alla Vodka to Turkish-style Sea Bass, many of the recipes in the book not only reflect a moment in Hepburn's life, but they also stand out as classic dishes that can be enjoyed by modern eaters. Dotti writes in the cookbook that his mother loved chocolate and she would have it every day as a little pick-me-up.

On special occasions and birthdays, she served her signature dessert: a flourless chocolate cake sprinkled with powdered sugar that she served with homemade whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. I couldn't think of a more romantic dessert to make for Valentine's Day, so I went to the kitchen to give this chocolatey dessert a try.

How to Make Audrey Hepburn's Flourless Chocolate Cake

Start by preheating your oven to 400°. Spray a 10- or 12-inch round cake pan with non-stick spray. (Alternatively, if you don't mind a little bit of flour, you can butter and lightly flour your pan.) Melt the chocolate and milk in a double boiler, then add the butter and stir until smooth. Turn off the heat and whisk in the egg yolks.

In a separate bowl, gradually add the sugar to the egg whites and whip to form stiff peaks (I used my KitchenAid mixer for this part). Gently fold the whipped egg whites into the chocolate-egg yolk mixture. Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes and turn off the oven.

Open the oven door and leave the cake inside for about 10 minutes. This process is a preventive measure that helps the cake's crust from cracking. Remove the cake from the oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream.

What I Thought of Audrey Hepburn's Flourless Chocolate Cake

At first glance, this cake looked simple but it was actually a bit tricky to make. So tricky, in fact, I had to make it twice. On attempt number one, I used a double boiler, but had a few challenges. The bowl was touching the water underneath (rookie mistake) and the bowl also didn't fit snugly on top of the pot of water. The gap left plenty of room for steam and spurting water to get into my chocolate, which caused it to get dry and clumpy.

I pressed on in the hopes that I could fix it, but once your chocolate seizes you're usually sunk. After adding in the yolks, the cake batter got even drier and lumpier and the cake came out dry, heavy and tough. It was also bitter and tasted slightly burnt—a direct result of my failed chocolate melting.

I didn't want to let Audrey down, so I tried again. The second time around, I used the microwave to melt my chocolate, which gave me more control—and it came out perfectly. I was able to whip my yolks into it effortlessly and continue with the recipe. As you can see below, my second try was a success!

The second cake was rich and silky with impressive height. It had a cloud-like texture from the egg whites being folded into the melted chocolate and the top was slightly crisp top—like the edges of your favorite brownie. If you've got a gluten-free family member or need a new dessert for Passover, this recipe is for you!

Tips for Making Audrey Hepburn's Flourless Chocolate Cake
  1. Use the microwave, if possible. If you have a microwave, this is the time to use it. Melting the chocolate in 30-second increments, stirring between each burst, is the best and easiest way to get the job done. If you have a double boiler, make sure that the bottom of your bowl isn't touching the water and that the bowl fits snugly on top of the pot.
  2. Chop your chocolate. Audrey mentions using chopped chocolate in her recipe, so don't ignore this step (breaking the unsweetened chocolate bar into pieces isn't enough). Chopping your chocolate into smaller pieces is going to help it melt faster. And no, you can't use chocolate chips. Well, you can, but the texture will be affected because most chocolate chips have stabilizers to help them keep their shape.
  3. Use cocoa powder. Traditionally, recipes call for dusting the cake pan with flour to prevent sticking. If you want to keep this cake fully flourless, you can use cocoa powder to dust your pan after spraying it with nonstick spray or coating it with butter or shortening. I used a round of parchment in the bottom of my pan for extra insurance.

That group of artists—led by the song’s co-writers and two of the most significant musicians of the 20th century—Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie—came from different worlds but united to record “We Are the World.” Featuring never-before-seen footage, the film details the early planning stages, including the writing sessions with Richie and Jackson, and goes inside the famed Henson Studios where “We Are the World” was recorded. Many of the artists who were there that legendary evening -- Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Smokey Robinson, Cyndi Lauper, Kenny Loggins, Dionne Warwick, and Huey Lewis -- reminisce alongside musicians, engineers, and production crew about one of the most storied nights in music history.

This 'Absolutely Gorgeous' 4-Piece Lingerie Set Is the Perfect Valentine's Day Surprise, and It's Just $28

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 11:48am

Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Valentine’s Day is coming up fast (12 days, everyone!), and if you haven’t found something a little more comfortable to slip into for the occasion, Amazon currently has a four-piece lingerie set for just $28 right now. Yes, you read that right: That works out to just $7 per piece.

Whether you wear it for Valentine’s Day or just as an indulgent-feeling set on a random Friday night, you’re getting some really pretty pieces with your order — or, as one shopper said, “absolutely gorgeous” pieces. It comes with a silk robe, a matching lace panty and longline bralette set, and a pair of satin brief-style shorts to slip on, too. The set comes in more than 35 different color options — from a Barbie pink to a luxe-looking red floral trimmed with black lace — each hovering right at the $28 to $29 price point. It’s available in sizes XS to 5X too. The only hard part? Deciding which one you’re going to add to cart first.

One happy customer called it “beautiful beautiful beautiful,” saying that the material is “like silk” and “super soft and cozy.”

“The best part about this outfit is the matching undies,” one shopper wrote. “They are SO soft and comfortable. My nails/rings didn’t pull the lace at all and after several uses they’re still in amazing condition. Typically I stay away from lacy undies because I tear them up quickly—just generally don’t pay attention and one wrong grab will put a hole in them. Not these bad boys!!”

Unlike some lingerie that’s all straps and not a ton of fabric, this is a set that’s comfortable to wear. Shoppers who have already luxuriated in their own set say that it’s “cute and sexy” — just keep in mind that if you have a bigger bust, the cups on the top might run a bit small. One shopper wrote that she’s “a bit chest-heavy (34 DD), and the bra top was just a tad bit small, but that's what makes it sexy. No crazy spillage, just a little side and middle cleavage.” Take that as you will!

The included shorts seem to be a hit though. “The shorts are VERY stretchy in the waist,” another shopper wrote. “My set fit me perfectly, but definitely had wiggle room if someone a size or two up wanted to try it as well. They sit on my hips and don’t ride up. Makes the rear view look AMAZING because of the little frills on the bottom of the shorts. I feel so cute wearing this set and my husband compliments it as well!”

Many reviewers mention that the robe doesn’t have loops for the sash, making it a bit difficult to tie securely — but some shoppers said that that was the “only flaw” in this fun set.

Ready for a little last-minute Valentine’s Day shopping? Add this $28 four-piece set to your cart, stat.

Matthew Macfadyen Books First TV Role After 'Succession'

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 11:44am

Tom Wambsgans is going to be an actual "killer."

After saying goodbye to Succession in 2023, Matthew Macfadyen is returning to the small screen with a new drama. The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor is set to star alongside Michael Shannon in the upcoming Netflix series Death by Lightning. Created by Mike Makowsky, the drama will tell the rise of the 20th president of the United States, James Garfield, and his assassination by Charles Guiteau.

"Have spent the last five years going down the craziest historical rabbit hole ever, all thanks to Candice Millard and her wonderful book DESTINY OF THE REPUBLIC. Can't believe we actually get to go make this thing," creator and executive producer Makowsky wrote on social media following the series announcement.

Before the "stranger-than-fiction story" premieres, here is everything to know about Death by Lightning.

What is Death by Lightning about?

Death by Lightning is based on Candice Millard's novel Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President. The official logline for the series reads: "Death by Lightning is a drama series that brings to life the epic and stranger-than-fiction true story of James Garfield, reluctant 20th president of the United States, and his greatest admirer Charles Guiteau—the man who would come to kill him."

When was James Garfield president?

Garfield was elected president in 1880. His inauguration took place on March 4, 1881.

When was the assassination of President James Garfield?

The president was shot by Guiteau on July 2, 1881 at a railroad station. According to the National Parks Service, Guiteau said at his trial, "I did not kill the President. The doctors did that. I merely shot him."

When did President James Garfield die?

After being shot by Guiteau, Garfield was "mortally wounded" in the White House for weeks, per the White House Historical Association. Alexander Graham Bell, who invented the telephone, is said to have tried to find the bullet with an induction-balance electrical device that he had designed, but was unsuccessful. President Garfield ended up dying on Sept. 19, 1881 from an infection and internal hemorrhage.

'National Treasure' Jason Kelce Sets 'Terrible Precedent' at Pro Bowl

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 11:37am

Jason Kelce may not have made it to the Super Bowl this year, but he's having a blast taking on the Pro Bowl down in Orlando, Florida—though, maybe not as much fun as fans are having watching from home.

In a video uploaded to YouTube by ESPN, the Eagles center took on the long snap competition during the Skills Showdown on Thursday, Feb. 1, making it his mission to get the ball through the smallest hole.

He faced away from the goal board that was set up two lines behind him. It featured five holes of varying sizes—with each worth one to five points—for competitors to attempt to launch the football between their legs, with the smallest—worth five points positioned smack dab in the middle of the board.

Kelce seemed to make it his mission to make it through the five-pointer before his 45 seconds were up, steadily launching each ball in a straight line down the field and pretty consistently hitting just below the opening.

With just a few seconds left, on his penultimate throw, he scored—setting what one of the sportscasters called a "terrible precedent" in only trying to "get the five."

"Listen," Kelce told him. "If you're not first, your last. You've got to go big or go home."

He added, "The five was just speaking to me. Unfortunately, it didn't answer too much when I called."

Fans jumped to his defense, though, with one pointing out that his throws "were insanely good though." They added, "That 5 is a little high for a realistic long snap."

"That's what I was thinking," another agreed. "He was nailing right under it over and over, right where it probably should go."

Others can't wait to hear the "national treasure" talk about it on the next episode of the podcast he shares with brother Travis Kelce, New Heights, with one noting that he "made himself fodder for the next edition" and plenty of others dropping laughing emojis in the comment section.

Unfortunately, its release may be slightly delayed from their typical weekly schedule, as the Pro Bowl continues through Sunday, Feb. 4—the same day Travis heads to Las Vegas to start preparing for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 11. We don't know what his practice schedule looks like, but it may interfere with their ability to record before next Wednesday.

Aldi's Cute 2-Liter Hydration Tracker Water Bottle is Only $6, Which Is a Small Price to Pay for Motivation

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 11:30am

Staying hydrated throughout the day may seem easy on paper, but the reality is a lot of people make it through large portions of their day without taking a single sip. Drinking plenty of water each day is crucial to your body’s ability to regulate temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, provide cells with nutrients and keep your organs functioning properly. In addition, being well-hydrated can help improve your sleep, your mental clarity and your overall mood.

Seeing as water is a sort of miracle elixir in and of itself, having it handy throughout the day is the biggest hurdle to overcome for someone who is looking to improve their daily intake. According to the Mayo Clinic, the average adult male should consume 3.7 liters of water a day, and the average adult female should consume 2.7 liters.

When you’re chasing numbers like that on a daily basis, it’s handy to have a hard-working water bottle to help you get the job done. And that's where Aldi comes in. The fan-favorite store just dropped the Crofton Hydration Tracker Water Bottle, a $5.99 lifesaver of a hydration system that helps keep you motivated to drink water all day long.

This 2-liter water bottle is available in 4 different colors, including two solid colors (Cool Gray and Pink) and two ombre shades (Ombre Pink & Blue and Ombre Yellow & Black and Pink). The bottle's wide-mouth opening makes it easy to fill with both water and ice.

To keep you motivated, the outside of the bottle is printed with time markers with clever sayings to help remind you to drink up every 2 hours. Start at 7 a.m. with "Ready, Set, Drink!" and wrap up the day with "Crushed It!" Messages along the way include "Drink Up" and "Hydration Vibes."

It’s easy to get caught up Stanley tumbler fever, but this Crofton water bottle stands out from the competition thanks to its size and super affordable price. The only thing standing between you and hydration is $6 and a quick drive to your local Aldi.

Elizabeth Hurley Flaunts Toned Abs While Relaxing in the Sand

Fri, 02/02/2024 - 11:27am

Elizabeth Hurley's latest social media thirst trap is sending fans into a frenzy.

The British actress, 58, recently had herself a glamorous photoshoot on the beach to model a new limited edition piece from her swimsuit collection—but everyone's eyes were on Hurley instead.

The stunning snaps shared to Instagram on Thursday, Feb. 1 showed the Austin Powers alum sprawling out in the sand while sporting a light blue sarong designed with a peacock feather pattern. The garment tied around Hurley's neck and opened up at her torso, perfectly highlighting her ultra-toned abs.

Wearing the sarong with just white bikini bottoms, the model's fit figure was on full display, and fans were once again in awe of her age-defying powers.

A post shared by Elizabeth Hurley (@elizabethhurley1)

"Living on the sarong side of the tracks," she cleverly captioned the pics, while directing fans to the link in her bio to purchase the limited edition piece.

But her followers were much more taken with Hurley's undeniable beauty in the shots.

"You are glowing. You could light up the night. I can't think of any better representation of beauty," one commenter wrote.

"You are ageless!," added another, who joked, "It’s starting to annoy me!!"

"You look younger every post" someone else echoed.

It's true that Hurley never seems to age, but she credits everything to her diet and exercise regimen. Just last week, she shared some of her tricks of the trade when it comes to maintaining her figure, including her mantra: "don't eat too much, too fast, too often or too late."

She also makes sure to get in lots of fruits and veggies, and she even has a bread maker to have her own homemade breads.

Hurley's advice also included staying active. Even though she doesn't have a "set exercise" routine, she's "extremely active."

So for everyone wondering how Hurley does it—that's how!
