Regardless of location, background, race, or gender, there’s something all teenagers seem to have in common: they make hilariously dumb decisions with their friends. FX’s brilliant dramedy Reservation Dogs leaned into that idea while simultaneously dropping audiences into a setting that traditionally doesn’t get much screen time: a Native American reservation.

Created by Taika Waititi and Sterlin Harjo, the three-season show followed the story of a group of teenagers living on a reservation in Oklahoma who deal with traditional teen tropes, from first loves to facing bullies, and with harder topics, like the death by suicide of one of their best friends. It’s funny and poignant, and was named one of the best television shows of the 21st century by The Hollywood Reporter. 

“It’s not merely that Indigenous teen characters are a demographic rarely depicted on television, though they are; nor is it just that their plotlines here shrug off centuries of stereotypes about Native Americans, though they do. It’s the way these tales are told, with boundless curiosity and a freewheeling sense of experimentation,” said the ranking, placing the show at the number six spot.

When Reservation Dogs premiered in 2001, it got rave reviews, with the AV Club saying it had “style to spare,” and praise by Time for its “authentic portrayal of one version of the modern Indigenous experience” and for “centering Native voices both behind and in front of the cameras.” 

The critical darling went on to receive perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes scores for its second and third seasons, but despite that, it flew under the radar for wider audiences, with CBR calling it a “masterful yet overlooked” TV show. “Simultaneously intimate and expansive, Reservation Dogs crystallizes the humor and hardships of growing up in a world where cultural roots still matter, even if they’re disappearing,” said the outlet.

TV Insider agreed, calling it “TV’s most underrated series” in 2023, declaring during the show’s final season that “it has yet to achieve its full popularity potential.”

Horror movies don’t always perform well for the critics or at the box office. However, every now and then, you hear of one that excels, and that was the case nine years ago today.

On Sept. 8, 2017, the Stephen King adaptation, It, was released in theaters. It would mark 27 years since the two-part miniseries on ABC that starred Tim Curry, and once again, it would have many terrified of clowns all over again. However, this time, the adaptation did something the original couldn’t: it broke a box office record.

Over opening weekend, It pulled in $123.4 million in the United States alone. That was on a $35 million budget, immediately making it clear that this was a financial success. Worldwide, it would go on to gross $702.7 million, making it the highest-grossing horror film and the highest-grossing Stephen King adaptation (not all are classed as horror). The movie still holds the title in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Even the sequel wouldn’t be able to knock the movie off the top spot. It: Chapter 2 would only gross $4.67 million worldwide when it was released in 2019. That wouldn’t even be enough to claim second place, with Jaws holding onto second place with $4.84 million.

Despite all of this, It isn’t classed as one of the best-ever movies, and part of that could be the fact that it is terrifying horror. The King adaptations that tend to make the best-ever movies lists are the likes of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. It also pulled in just an 85% Rotten Tomatoes score, with critics saying, “It wants to be both a nostalgia-driven romp and a genuine horror film, and it ends up doing a disservice to both sides,” and “Countering the standard horror is an unusual sense of adventure, which plays nicely against the irrational courage of the kids.”

There was effort put into creating a strong remake of a 1990s classic, though. One of those was the “lazy eye effect,” which wasn’t actually an effect at all. Bill Skarsgård was able to perform the wall-eyed effect that director Andy Muschietti was going to CGI in. Even the drool was real, although that was due to the fake teeth and Muschietti encouraging Skarsgård to let the drool flow.

As with Curry’s performance, the child actors stay away from Skarsgård before filming. However, this time, it was intentional, and that helped to create a terrifying experience for the children. It was somewhat traumatic, though, with Skarsgård apologizing between takes.

It’s rare for any movie to make more than $500 million at the box office, and it’s even rarer for a horror movie to do it. It’s no wonder the prequel series Welcome to Derry was ordered.

The country star admitted that this reality never fully stops stinging, and encouraged followers not to suppress those feelings when a missed holiday or tradition hits hard emotionally.

Kramer shares two children, 10-year-old Jolie and 7-year-old Jace, with her ex-husband Mike Caussin. Their marriage’s struggles — including Caussin’s infidelity — have been well documented, both on Kramer’s podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, and in her published memoir, where she detailed how the betrayals affected her sense of self.

Since then, Kramer has remarried. She and her husband, Allan Russell, who wed in 2024, are also raising a 2-year-old son, Roman, and Kramer credited Russell’s presence with reshaping her family’s dynamic for the better.

Ultimately, Kramer pointed to flexibility and mutual grace as the biggest keys to her successful co-parenting relationship with Caussin — the product, she says, of real healing and growth on both sides.

One Chart Got There First, and Stayed Longest

The R&B side had it at No. 1 three weeks before pop did. It jumped from No. 8 to the top in a single week on the chart dated Aug. 18, and it was still sitting there the week of Sept. 22. Six weeks in all.

The Hot 100 came around later and let go sooner. The single entered that chart on July 14, reached No. 1 on Sept. 8 and held it for two weeks, out of 19 weeks on the chart altogether.

Same song, same summer. One audience was three weeks ahead of the other.

He Only Ever Had Three No. 1s

Out of 56 songs that charted on the Hot 100 across his career, Gaye put three of them at No. 1. “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” in 1968, which held seven weeks. “Let’s Get It On” in 1973, which held two. “Got to Give It Up” in 1977, which held one.

What’s Going On stopped at No. 2 in 1971. “Sexual Healing” stopped at No. 3 in 1983. Neither of the two records most often named as his best ever spent a week at the top.

It Started Somewhere Else Entirely

The song began closer to devotional, written by Ed Townsend, before Gaye reworked the lyric into what it became. It gave its name to the album it appears on.

By the early 1970s, Bonnie Raitt was building a reputation for finding songs that allowed her to move effortlessly between folk, blues, rock, and country. One of the most enduring arrived from two other young songwriters.

Written by Eric Kaz and Libby Titus, “Love Has No Pride” was first recorded by Raitt for her 1972 album Give It Up. A year later, Linda Ronstadt put her own stamp on the aching ballad, bringing it to the charts and helping turn the composition into an enduring favorite.

Raitt was still near the beginning of her career when she encountered the song.

Her self-titled debut had arrived in 1971, followed the next year by Give It Up. For “Love Has No Pride,” Raitt accompanied her vocal with acoustic guitar and piano, backed by bassist Freebo. The understated arrangement kept the focus on a narrator willing to cast aside pride for another chance at a failed relationship.

Ronstadt soon recognized the song’s potential.

She recorded “Love Has No Pride” for Don’t Cry Now, her first album for Asylum Records. Her version expanded the arrangement with electric piano, steel guitar, strings, and backing vocals, giving the song a more polished country-rock setting.

“There would be something that would match something that was going on in my life—maybe not the whole song, maybe just a line, [where] I’d go, ‘That says how I feel about this better than anything else I’ve found lately. That really expresses what I need to say right now,'” Ronstadt told Vanity Fair of covering other writers’ songs. “And then you figure out a way to make the rest of the song fit.”

Released as a single in 1973, Ronstadt’s recording reached No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 23 on the Easy Listening chart. It arrived just before the enormous commercial breakthrough that would make her one of the decade’s biggest stars. The following year, Heart Like a Wheel produced hits including “You’re No Good” and “When Will I Be Loved.”

“Love Has No Pride” continued traveling between genres and performers.

Rita Coolidge, Tracy Nelson, Lynn Anderson, Daryl Braithwaite, and Rod Stewart are among the artists who have recorded it. Titus eventually released her own version in 1977, while Braithwaite turned the song into an Australian hit that same year.

“I didn’t sing ‘Love Has No Pride’ for a lot of years,” Raitt told American Songwriter. “It used to be the cornerstone of my set in the early ’70s because I cut it when I was 22. […] That’s the only one that I stopped singing. It’s not so much about feminism but [recites lyrics] love has no pride when I call out your name… I’m not putting up with that anymore. I’m not going to beg somebody to come back.”

More than five decades after Ronstadt’s rendition, the song hasn’t lost the vulnerability at its center. Raitt and Ronstadt approached it differently, but both found the quality that has allowed “Love Has No Pride” to endure: the painful recognition that heartbreak can make pride seem almost meaningless.

Hollywood star Ben Affleck has endured the loss of both of his parents in the same year, with his brother Casey Affleck revealing that their father, Timothy “Tim” Byers Affleck, died earlier in 2026.

Casey, 51, shared the family news on Tuesday while discussing his new film, Company, at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival, according to Page Six. The exact date of Tim’s death has not been publicly disclosed.

The Hollywood Reporter reported in July that their mother, Christopher “Chris” Anne Affleck, died in June at age 83 following a six-month battle with pancreatic cancer.

He added, “I really wanted to show this movie to them, and I didn’t get to. I think they would have liked it.” Casey’s sons, Indiana, 22, and Atticus, 18, also appear in the film.

The Gone Girl star, who has publicly discussed his own recovery, has also credited Tim with showing him that lasting change was possible.

It also recommends checking whether local police or fire departments require alarm registration or impose false-alarm fees.

2. What happens if I don’t answer?
3. Which emergencies are monitored?
4. What happens during a power or internet outage?
5. What backup communication methods are used?
6. Are there local alarm-registration requirements or fees?
7. What are the contract, equipment and cancellation terms?

After the success of 1883 and the excitement of SEAL Team arriving on Netflix, it was only a matter of time before more of Paramount+’s catalog of shows made their way over. Taylor Sheridan’s best show on the streamer is finally heading to Netflix.

It’s all about the Jeremy Renner series Mayor of Kingstown. This is not set within the Yellowstone universe, and is instead, a gritty crime drama that focuses on one man who wants to bring order to his town. Of course, he’s not necessarily doing it in the most legal sense, but it works. Netflix has set the date for Oct. 5, 2026.

Mayor of Kingstown follows Renner’s Mike McLusky, the head of the McLusky family, who has become the unofficial Mayor of Kingstown. He is ruthless when he needs to be, making sure the balance between street gangs, local police, prison guards, and prisoners remains steady. Like many of Sheridan’s other shows, he focuses on racism, power struggles, and the class system, while also creating an entertaining and thought-provoking series.

The series consists of four seasons to date, with a fifth and final season in the works. While the fifth season will only have eight episodes rather than the 10 that the first four seasons have had, at least Paramount+ is offering the show time to wrap up all the storylines.

What’s not clear is how many of the seasons will join Netflix. The recent move is connected to the deal inked between Netflix and Paramount earlier in 2026, which will see a number of shows stream on the global giant under a non-exclusive license. Some shows, such as SEAL Team, have already been added, and Mayor of Kingstown is part of the October releases.

What’s on Netflix confirms that multiple seasons will join Netflix, but it hasn’t given an exact number. That’s because Netflix hasn’t confirmed the exact number of the current 40 episodes available.

While other Sheridan shows have joined the streaming platform, only the first season or two have joined. Usually, the plan is to make sure viewers need to come back to Paramount+ for one season, where possible. However, other shows have joined in full, such as Halo, which is set to depart the streaming giant soon.

This deal is international, but the deals will vary. Oct. 5 will see Mayor of Kingstown join Netflix in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and a few other locations. Then other international locations will get it at a later date. The exact length of time the show will be available also differs depending on the series and location, with most deals being between one and three years.

So, if you have been on the fence about Paramount+ just to watch Renner’s series, this is a chance to check it out. Make sure Oct. 5, 2026, is in your diary for Mayor of Kingstown, Sheridan’s best show on the streamer.

The Oasis reunion story is far from over, morning glory.

Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, the documentary chronicling the band’s triumphant 2025 reunion tour, had its U.K. premiere on Sept. 7 in advance of its Sept 11 opening, and Liam and Noel Gallagher were there to celebrate along with creator/writer Steven Knight, and directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.

Now comes word that the Gallagher brothers and company plan more massive tour dates in 2027, according to Hits. The trade publication reports that the band is set to announce shows scheduled for next summer in the U.K., Europe and North America. The tour will reportedly include six nights in September 2027 at Knebworth in England, which can hold up to 125,000 fans.

The 2027 trek will reportedly includes stops in Glasgow (May 22-24, 26, 29), Manchester (June 4-5, 6, 9, 12-13, 16, 19-20, 23, 26-27), Paris (July 3-4), Munich (July 10-11), Rome (July 24-25), Meath, Ireland, at the 80,000-cap Slane Castle(Aug. 6-8, 11, 14) and Knebworth (Sept. 4-5, 11-12, 18-19).

In the U.S. the band is expected to play Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. It’ll be the first time the band has played Vegas since 2008 and their first stop in the Boston area since 2005.

These dates follow the group’s triumphant 2025 reunion tour, their first in 16 years, which reportedly grossed $400 million.

Meanwhile, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger opens in both IMAX and traditional theaters worldwide on Sept. 11 and will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. later this year.

In the 1990s, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan co-starred in a trio of movies, but it’s their final foray together that has surprisingly stood the test of time.

The 1998 film You’ve Got Mail was ranked among GQ’s list of the “best movies of the 1990s.” In the 2026 ranking list, the outlet described the film as “a perfect rom-com with the two of the absolute best to ever do it”— despite an outdated premise and modest score on Rotten Tomatoes.

“So much of the core concept of You’ve Got Mail feels wildly alien at this point,” GQ acknowledged of the film’s storyline, which is set around the excitement of hearing a dial-up America Online email notification. Still, it was noted that the Nora Ephron film “arrived at an interesting historical precipice, when technology was starting to change the way we do absolutely everything.”

You’ve Got Mail stars Hanks and Ryan as Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly, rival New York City bookstore owners who anonymously meet in an AOL chat room and fall in love. The movie features cute banter, an impressive soundtrack, the beauty of all of the seasons, and obvious star power.

Decades later, You’ve Got Mail has a score of 69% on Rotten Tomatoes, with just enough positive reviews from critics to stay “fresh” but short of the highest “certified fresh” honor.

The film’s charm is highlighted by Hanks and Ryan’s undeniable chemistry.

“It’s just a natural thing,” Hanks told Entertainment Tonight in 1989. “[Meg and I] see each other every now and again. It’s like, we don’t hang out for coffee. … But when we pick up, we just pick up where we left off and it’s an effortless thing that I don’t think either one of us examines it too much because if we did, it’d be a problem.”

The actor also told Access Hollywood in 2023 that Ephron knew to rush through making the movie “while email is still a going thing.”

Nearly 30 years after You’ve Got Mail’s release, the premise of finding love in email chat rooms is outdated, but a New York love story never goes out of style. Even with a modest Rotten Tomatoes score, You’ve Got Mail has endured as one of the great love stories of its era.

Eric Stonestreet has a lot to celebrate!

On Tuesday, September 8, the soon-to-be 55-year-old Modern Family alum shared a post on Instagram commemorating his first wedding anniversary with wife Lindsay Schweitzer. The couple’s relationship milestone falls between their respective birthdays.

“September 7th is Lindsay’s birthday. September 9th is mine. So we decided to get married on September 8, one year ago today,” his post began.

The Instagram carousel kicked off with a video of Stonestreet and Schweitzer sharing a special wedding dance as Brothers Osborne crooners John and TJ Osborne performed “Pushing Up Daisies,” which the actor revealed was “one of our favorite songs.” Stonestreet also noted that while the pair “surprised our family with a wedding,” he had “surprised” his wife with the live performance “in our gosh darn living room.”

Further detailing the special moment, Stonestreet called it “a memory for a lifetime.”

“They are as kind and generous as they are talented…and they win awards for how talented they are. AND they’ll be in KC [Kansas City] this week, almost a year to the day, playing the T-Mobile Center,” he said of the Brothers Osbourne. “Full circle.”

The remainder of Stonestreet’s post was a tribute to his wife. “Happy anniversary, Lindsay. Every day, I’m more grateful that you’re in my life and that you’re my wife. My only regret is that you weren’t sooner,” he began.

“So here’s to many, many, MANY more fun, happy, loving, surprise- and laughter-filled days together,” he concluded. “‘We ain’t getting out of this love alive.’ You’s the best. ❤️❤️.”

News of Stonestreet and Schweitzer’s relationship was first reported by People in 2017. The pair later announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2021, sharing a candid photo of the pair posing together as Schweitzer flashed her gorgeous diamond engagement ring.

“She said, ‘She’d have her people call my people,'” he jokingly captioned the post.

The pair’s intimate and private Kansas City wedding was a surprise to many, including Stonestreet’s Modern Family costars. No members from the close-knit cast were in attendance for the big day.

“We literally have a group chat going right now, and he sent us all—he didn’t tell us that they were doing that,” fellow series alum Ariel Winter told People in October 2025. “They, like, invited just their close friends and family at their house where they are. Like, literally, I think they had maybe 10 people there. And they, like, invited them over for something and just did that. Came out and got married.”

Winter, 28, noted that it was all “very sweet.”

“They just sent us the pictures in the group chat, and it was really sweet, and, of course, we congratulated them,” she continued. “Eric and Lindsay are absolutely incredible. She’s so wonderful. She’s been a part of our family really for a long time, and I’m just so happy for them because she’s awesome. So I’m so happy that they made that happen.”

Earlier this year, Stonestreet opened up about his reasoning for excluding his Modern Family companions from his nuptials while joining TV husband Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s podcast, Dinner’s on Me.

“We didn’t invite anyone to our wedding other than our family,” Stonestreet said.

“The equivalent to an invitation to our wedding was a phone call before the wedding. Which was like, ‘Hey, this is your non-invitation. Because we love you and we want you to know about it first,'” he explained. “So there was a group of people that we called and told. And then, we got married and I had a text all set up ready to go. And then the moment we got married, we just sent it out to everyone, other people.”

Stonestreet also added that he “didn’t want to offend anyone” by excluding them from the wedding.

Black Sabbath created an iconic heavy metal song with the 1970 hit “Paranoid.” Fifty-six years later, it is more than just the band’s iconic anthem as it remains a defining rock classic in music history.

Featured on Black Sabbath’s sophomore album Paranoid, it was the record’s lead single, with the lyrics written by Geezer Butler while all four original members are credited as songwriters.

According to the legendary bassist, the song, which he described as an “afterthought,” explores feelings of depression, paranoia and the emotional effects of drug use.

“Basically, it’s just about depression, because I didn’t really know the difference between depression and paranoia,” he mentioned in Mojo magazine in June 2013, via Farout Magazine. “It’s a drug thing; when you’re smoking a joint, you get totally paranoid about people; you can’t relate to people. There’s that crossover between the paranoia you get when you’re smoking dope and the depression afterwards.”

The lead guitarist Tony Iommi also revealed that it wasn’t originally “intended” as a song for the album and was created as filler.

At the time, the band needed a filler song to round out the album, so they ended up creating the entire track in just 25 minutes.

According to Butler, after quickly writing the lyrics, Iommi with the guitar riff while “Ozzy was reading them as he was singing.”

After releasing the single, “Paranoid” peaked at No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100.

In 2024, “Paranoid” hit another milestone after joining Spotify’s Billions Club after surpassing 1 billion streams.

Continuing to resonate with listeners, the song currently has over 1.7 billion streams with more than 600,000 streams daily.

Following the death of Ozzy Osbourne in July 2025, the track experienced a new resurgence and landed at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and No. 5 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart.

It also made its debut at No. 43 on the Streaming Songs chart, making it Black Sabbath’s first-ever appearance on that list.

From the chart resurgence to its continuous streams, “Paranoid” also captured the attention of fellow musicians.

Some of the notable covers of the song include Megadeth’s, which was initially recorded as part of the Black Sabbath tribute album Nativity in Black and later released on their EP, Hidden Treasures, in 1995.

1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton had an awkward first meeting with her fiancée Andrea Dalton‘s friends — and Parade got the first sneak peek.

Ahead of the Tuesday, Sept. 8 episode, TLC shared an exclusive clip of Tammy and Andrea eating at a restaurant with three of Andrea’s longtime pals.

During the meal, one of the friends asked if they had set a date for their wedding, to which Tammy revealed, “December 12, ’26. We’re thinking, like, ice princess.”

“Are you going to wear, like, a coat and tails for the horse and buggy?” one friend asked. “That would be cool. And, like, shorts. You could wear shorts and then, like, long tails. White tux thing. Top white.”

Andrea replied, “Yeah, you might be onto something.”

The friend then turned to Tammy and asked, “Would you let her do that?” with a laugh, to which Tammy bluntly said, “No.”

This elicited surprised reactions from Andrea’s friends and a strong response from Andrea herself. “Ain’t nobody gonna let me do nothing!” she declared.

To that, Tammy joked, “I think this is getting to you a little bit,” pointing to Andrea’s alcoholic beverage.

After an awkward beat, the small talk continued. Tammy eventually got the hiccups, which Jenny acknowledged, before Tammy rested her head on her hands at the table.

“Are you OK, Tam Tam?” the first friend asked, prompting Andrea to echo, “What’s wrong?”

“Just tired,” Tammy insisted, as the clip ended.

In June 2025, Tammy announced her engagement to Andrea — and in the Season 9 premiere of 1000-Lb Sisters, fans got to see the proposal for themselves. The couple has gone through ups and downs since then, and TLC has documented it every step of the way.

In 1990, a Western film helped inspire one of the most unexpected milestones in Jon Bon Jovi’s career.

“Blaze of Glory” was written and recorded for the Young Guns II soundtrack.

It marked a bold creative shift for the musician, who was still riding high on the success of his band’s massive late-’80s run. 

The sequel, starring Emilio Estevez as “Billy the Kid,” originally wanted to use Bon Jovi’s earlier hit “Wanted Dead or Alive.” Instead, the singer wrote a song tailored to the film’s themes of rebellion and redemption.

Little did he know, he was also penning a power ballad that would go on to define his legacy outside of his band.

As Parade previously reported, while sharing a meal with Kiefer Sutherland,  Bon Jovi famously scribbled down a whole set of lyrics onto a napkin in less time than it takes to place an order.

“With Jon Bon Jovi, we went out to dinner and had some drinks. We were sitting in a bar, and Jon looked at Emilio Estevez and said, ‘I want to do the music for the sequel,’”Sutherland recalled of the moment following the 1988 original film.

“And Emilio looked at him and said, ‘I don’t know if there’s going to be a sequel’ and Jon just shook his head and said, ‘There’s gonna be a sequel.’”

“We weren’t paying attention, and Jon started writing this stuff down on a napkin. And he wrote ‘Blaze of Glory’ in 15 minutes. He pushed the napkins to Emilio and said, ‘That’s your first song.’”

Bon Jovi later revealed the songwriting process, telling Rolling Stone years later, “I was pretending that it was Billy the Kid, but it was my pain and distrust and things that I wasn’t brave enough to write in the first person,” adding, “It was questioning the celebrity and now you’re the big boy in the room — all that stuff.”

“Blaze of Glory,” described as a cinematic rock ballad boasting soaring vocals and emotional intensity, resonated with rock fans and mainstream audiences alike.

The chart success was swift, as it climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Sept. 8, 1990. 

36 years ago, Bon Jovi landed his first—and only—solo chart-topper outside of his work with his band.

It later became one of the biggest rock hits of 1990, earning a Golden Globe for Best Original Song – Motion Picture in 1991, while also being nominated in the category of Best Original Song at the 1991 Academy Awards, and Best Song For a Motion Picture or Television and Male Rock Vocal Performance at the 1991 Grammy Awards.

It also secured its place as one of the standout movie soundtrack singles of the era.

As for Bon Jovi, the success led him to expand the project into a full solo album of the same name.

The film, also starring Christian Slater, Lou Diamond Phillips, Alan Ruck and William Petersen, wasn’t as positively received by critics, earning a 31% on Rotten Tomatoes, despite a 66% Popcornmeter from audiences.

Former Full House star Lori Loughlin filed for divorce from her husband of 28 years, Mossimo Giannulli.

Page Six confirmed on Tuesday that Loughlin had filed paperwork on September 4, citing irreconcilable differences. Based on the documents, the couple parted ways over one year ago. Per TMZ, the actress listed the date of separation as August 31, 2025. 

Along with the date of separation and date of filing, Loughlin’s documents also stated that the couple signed a prenup on October 28, 1997, and amended the agreement on August 11, 2015. 

News of Loughlin and Giannulli’s divorce isn’t exactly surprising. In October of 2025, Page Six confirmed that the couple had separated. A rep for the actress told the media outlet, “Lori and Mossimo are living apart now,” but added, “There are no legal proceedings underway.” Fast forward to September of 2026, and things have changed. 

Laughlin and Giannulli tied the knot in November of 1997. The pair have two daughters together: Olivia Jade Giannulli (born in 1999) and Isabella Rose Giannulli (born in 1998). 

The celeb’s involvement in a high-profile college admissions bribery scandal in 2019 led to a two-month prison sentence in 2020. Her soon-to-be ex-husband was sentenced to five months in prison and was released in April of 2021. 

Following Loughlin’s release, she slowly made her way back into the spotlight, guest starring on shows such as Blue Bloods and Curb Your Enthusiasm. She also starred in the holiday movie Fall Into Winter and reprised her role as Abigail Stanton in Season 2 of When Hope Calls. 

Loughlin recently made headlines by returning to Instagram after a seven-year hiatus, posting a star-studded throwback-themed video featuring her Full House family and the caption, “Wake up, San Francisco! I’m back on IG.”

Shortly after her initial post, Loughlin shared a carousel of pics and videos, including a clip from her birthday celebration and a Disney photo with fellow Full House alums John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber. 

The actress’s fans flocked to her post to comment on her return. “I’m proud of you for taking responsibility for what you did and not asking for anybody to pardon you. Looking forward to you coming back to When Calls the Heart,” wrote one of Loughlin’s supporters.

The comments didn’t end there. Others added, “Aww Lori, I love seeing your smiling face pop up in my feed again! These pics are gorgeous,” and “Welcome home! We missed you, Lori! Love the pics!”

As of now, neither Loughlin nor Gianulli has publicly commented on their divorce.
