The Famous Photograph That Mirrors Your Soul, Based on Your Birth Month
Perhaps you grew up adoring history class, because you had an especially wonderful teacher, or you tend to be someone for whom certain images can’t help but fuel a visceral reaction tied to the moment when you first saw it or the moment in history that it brings to mind for you. Either way, famous photographs that have gone down in history over the years have a way of embedding themselves into our unconscious and stirring up emotional reactions. From Charles C. Ebbets’ “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” to Princess Diana’s iconic revenge dress shot, it’s clear that photography is a form of visual poetry. For a sense of which one best mirrors your soul, look no further than your birth month, which offers useful intel on your perspective, strengths, and even life purpose.
The Famous Photograph That Mirrors Your Soul, Based on Your Birth MonthRead on to learn which photograph connects to your point of view and spirit, based on the month you were born.
January: “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper”Born as a new year was just beginning, you came into the world as the sun traveled through industrious Capricorn or futuristic Aquarius. Both signs are ruled by Saturn, the planet of hard work and commitment, two aspects of life that are hard not to consider as the backdrop for this famous image taken on September 20, 1932. Featuring 11 ironworkers sitting on a steel beam of the RCA Building, 850 feet above the ground during the construction of Rockefeller Center in Manhattan, the staged photograph was part of a campaign promoting the skyscraper. The "most famous picture of a lunch break in New York history" brings to mind resilience, progress, and everyday heroism—all themes you can get behind.
FUN: This Is Your Perfect Shopping Store, Based on Your Birth Month
February: “Sleeping Woman”Born when the sun was moving through either innovative air sign Aquarius or poetic, empathic water sign Pisces, you’re both a dreamer and a futurist. Escapism and spirituality are especially appealing to you, which is why Man Ray, aka Emmanuel Radnitzky, a Surrealist photographer’s 1929 image “Sleeping Woman” speaks to your soul. The peaceful, graceful, and yes, sleep-celebrating photograph inspires serenity and even plays with light in a way that was innovative for its time, utilizing a technique called solarization.
March: Brandi Chastain celebrating in the Women’s World Cup FinalBecause you were born while the sun was in spiritual, mystical water sign Pisces or go-getter, impulsive fire sign Aries, you’re idealistic and action-oriented, which makes Robert Beck's game-changing photo of Brandi Chastain celebrating after scoring her winning penalty in the Women's World Cup final an image that reflects your soul. The pure exhilaration of achievement, blurry and almost watercolor-esque background, and snapshot of one of the most groundbreaking moments for the game echo both your impressive imagination and thirst to win.
April: Steve Jobs with the first iPhoneBorn when the sun was moving through either competitive, pioneering fire sign Aries or Taurus, the grounded, practical earth sign, you are determined and are eager to be first out the gate. That very feeling permeates this 2007 shot of the Apple founder and CEO debuting a device that would forever change society. Not even 20 years old, the image marks the moment when Jobs said, “We are all born with the ultimate pointing device—our fingers—and the iPhone uses them to create the most revolutionary user interface since the mouse. Whether you’re a go-getter Aries type or a relationship-oriented Venus-ruled Taurus, you can appreciate how this moment was the beginning of a cataclysmic shift in human interaction.
EXPAND: Which Film Matches You, Based on Your Birth Month
May: Northern lights over the Eyjafjallajökull volcanoWhether you were born when the sun was moving through tactile earth sign Taurus or social, curious, on-the-go air sign Gemini, genuine, you can appreciate a collision between earth-grounded and sky-based forces that was captured in this 2010 photograph by photographer Lucas Jackson who was stranded in Iceland when the volcano erupted right in front of the aurora borealis. As someone who is passionate about being in the moment, you can imagine what it would have been like to be there and have such an otherworldly experience.
June: The Five Year Photo ProjectAs a person who came into the world when the sun was in either social, curious, bubbly air sign Gemini or sentimental, family-oriented water sign Cancer, family and friends are almost always on your mind, making The Five Year Photo Project exactly your speed. Since 1982, when they were teens, five friends from Santa Barbara, California have been going on vacation every five years to the same place to take the same exact group photo. If anyone can appreciate the group’s enduring friendship and the effort to recreate a magical moment over and over again, it’s you.
July: Princess Diana in her “revenge dress”Born when the sun was in either nurturing, maternal water sign Cancer or theatrical, regal fire sign Leo, you believe in showing up for others and also claiming the spotlight when it’s rightfully yours, which radiates Princess Diana energy. In June 1994, Diana was famously photographed wearing her black “revenge dress” while arriving at a gala at the Serpentine Gallery in London. It was so-called because that same night, Prince Charles confessed on national TV that he had been unfaithful to her. As someone who can hold their head high even in the darkest, most challenging moments of their life, the empowered vibes of this image mirror your confidence and inner power.
August: Oscars selfieWhether you were born under dynamic, spotlight-loving fire sign Leo or communicative, tech-loving, service-oriented Virgo, you have a penchant for theatrical, glamorous moments, especially those shared with friends or colleagues, which makes this famous 2014 shot, taken by Bradley Cooper at the 86th Annual Academy Awards, the photo that best mirrors your social, celebratory, sunny soul. The image has also gone down in history as one of the most influential and important pictures of all time. The fact that it also captured a moment in time when selfies were just starting to boom in popularity is also pretty iconic.
NEXT: The Seashell That Mirrors Your Soul’s Journey, Based on Your Birth Date
September: William and Kate’s Wedding Balcony KissYou were born under either sensitive, detail-oriented earth sign Virgo or partnership-loving, elegant air sign Libra, making Prince William and Princess Catherine’s famous wedding day image one that resonates with your romantic, cerebral spirit. On April 29, 2011, the newlyweds delighted millions of onlookers by sharing two historic kisses on the Buckingham Palace balcony. From the darling flower girls flanking the couple to the half-smile you can see on Kate’s face, the image is forever burned into society’s collective memory and serves as a sweet snapshot of the beginning of a whole new era for the UK’s royal family.
October: John Lennon and Yoko Ono, The DakotaThe sun moved through partnership-loving air sign Libra and powerful water sign Scorpio during the month you came into the world, which means you cherish one-on-one bonds, intimacy, and fully immersing yourself in your other half, which are themes that come through in Annie Leibovitz’s image of John Lennon (a Libra sun himself) and Yoko Ono that was taken in 1980. Shot for Rolling Stone, the image features Yoko lying on a cream carpet with husband John in a fetal position around his wife. The tender Polaroid was taken just hours before Lennon was fatally shot in New York, making it tender, bittersweet, and historic—something that resonates with your deeply feeling, spiritually astute heart.
November: Taylor Swift, Eras TourWhether you were born under the fearless, powerful water sign Scorpio or adventurous, wanderlust-fueled fire sign Sagittarius, you can appreciate Taylor Swift’s ability to hold center stage over the course of 149 shows during her record-shattering Eras tour in 2023-2024. Spanning five continents, 21 countries, and 51 cities, Swift (a Sagittarius-Scorpio person herself) made history by headlining the highest-grossing tour of all time and the very first to make over $2 billion. This photograph brings to mind her business prowess, contagious joy, self-possession, and universal magnetism—all traits you’d especially respect and admire.

December: “V-J Day in Times Square”Born with your sun in either adventurous, party-loving fire sign Sagittarius or industrious, dutiful earth sign Capricorn, making this awe-inspiring, celebratory, romantic image taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt your exact vibe. Portraying a U.S. Navy sailor kissing a nurse on V-J Day in New York City’s Time Square in 1945, the photograph was published in Life magazine and would forever go down in history. Eisenstaedt famously said, “People tell me that when I am in heaven they will remember this picture.” Whether you’re a natural born entertainer (if you’re more Sagittarian) or dedicated workhorse (if you’re more of a Cap), that level of iconicity is something you most definitely aspire toward.

Whether you're traveling, heading to fireworks, or simply looking for a quick bite before the festivities begin, plenty of restaurant chains roll out special holiday deals to celebrate Independence Day.
This year, Checkers & Rally's is joining the celebration with a promotion that tips its hat not only to the Fourth of July, but also to a major milestone in American history. For one day only, the fast-food chain is offering a classic burger-and-pie combo for a price that's directly tied to America's 250th birthday.

Checkers & Rally's Is Serving a $2.50 Fourth of July Meal Deal Checkers & Rally's $2.50 All-American DuoCourtesy Checker's & Rally's
On Friday, July 4, guests can order the All-American $2.50 Duo, which includes an All-American Hamburger and a hot Apple Pie for just $2.50.
The limited-time meal features a straightforward burger topped with pickles, ketchup and mustard, along with one of the chain's signature apple pies. While it's not meant to replace a full cookout, it's an inexpensive way to grab a quick holiday meal—or even a snack before heading to a parade or fireworks display.
While burgers and apple pie have long been associated with classic Americana, pairing them makes this promotion feel especially fitting for the holiday. It's a simple, nostalgic combination that leans into familiar flavors while keeping the price low enough to appeal to families, travelers, and anyone looking for an affordable bite between Fourth of July celebrations.
The price isn't random, either. The $2.50 promotion commemorates America's 250th birthday, making it a fitting nod to the country's semiquincentennial celebration. According to the company, the offer is designed to combine two classic American comfort foods with a price that reflects the historic occasion.

You'll Have to Act FastLike many holiday promotions, this one has a very short window. The All-American $2.50 Duo is available for one day only on July 4 at participating Checkers & Rally's locations.
If you were already planning to grab fast food between holiday festivities, this deal could be one of the better values available. For less than the cost of many individual burgers these days, you'll get both an entrée and dessert.
With restaurant prices continuing to climb, promotions like this don't come around often—especially on a major holiday. So if you're looking for an inexpensive way to celebrate before the fireworks begin, this patriotic meal deal may be worth adding to your Fourth of July itinerary.

Gothic Horror Fans Get First Look at This 'Phenomenal' Christmas Day Release
In less than six months, the most wonderful time of the year will arrive. And why not celebrate the holiday season with, say, a "grimy" horror movie?
From celebrated director Robert Eggers (Nosferatu, The Witch) comes Werwulf, which hits theaters December 25 (yes, Christmas Day). And on Monday, June 29, fans were treated with a full-length trailer for the gothic-looking project.
"Do not dread the darkness. Embrace it," reads the caption of Focus Features' recent YouTube upload featuring a first look at Aaron Taylor-Johnson as what looks like the next great "wolf man" in cinema. Check it out below.
Fans have already flooded the video's comments section with words of utter excitement now that they've gotten a better sense of what's coming. "His ability to make everything look dusty, musky, grimy is unparalleled. You have my attention, Eggers," wrote one YouTube user, while another person commented, "Robert Eggers + gothic horror = day one watch. Nosferatu made me a lifelong fan, and Werwulf looks phenomenal 🔥."
Here's all we've gotten thus far in terms of a synopsis: "Witness Robert Eggers' most visceral and haunting experience yet. Focus Features presents WERWULF, a harrowing tale of devotion, damnation and the devil within."
Just like in Eggers' previous films, the cast features big names. Besides Taylor-Johnson, 36, there's Willem Dafoe, Lily-Rose Depp and Ralph Ineson (The Fantastic Four: First Steps).
Meanwhile, this year marks the 10th anniversary of Eggers' The Witch hitting theaters. Subtitled A New-England Folktale, it was one of the earliest jewels in A24’s crown. Set during the 1630s, the story concerns a Puritan family who are stalked by an evil presence in the forest that hugs their farmland. For his feature-length debut, writer-director Eggers, 42, enlisted Ineson, 56, and Anya Taylor-Joy to play the main characters.
The Witch earned its $4 million budget back tenfold at the box office, and to this day sits on an impressive 91% Rotten Tomatoes rating. For Eggers, Ineson, and Taylor-Joy, 30, the acclaimed indie was a springboard to even greater professional heights. Find out more here.

Jodie Turner-Smith on Co-Parenting Daughter Juno With Joshua Jackson
Jodie Turner-Smith made rare comments on navigating life and parenthood with ex-husband and Dawson’s Creek star Joshua Jackson.
Jodie spoke to Hoda Kotb on the Joy 101 podcast and vulnerably opened up about raising Juno, her 6-year-old daughter with Jackson, after their divorce. Both Turner-Smith and Jackson grew up with divorced parents, which she says influenced how they've approached their own split. The hardest part was early on, when Juno was only 3.
"It's always been important to think about: What is the language around which we are going to talk about this with our daughter? Because it is her new reality," Turner-Smith told Kotb.
They're not pretending it's all fine. Instead, they're trying to be honest and upbeat at the same time. "We're learning as well and not always getting it totally right — but the idea is always two homes filled with love," the Queen & Slim star said. "And I'm like, 'You got two houses, girl.'"

Turner-Smith revealed in the interview that she used parenting and children's books about divorce to explain what was happening.
The custody situation has been trickier. The couple finalized their divorce in May 2025 and agreed to share custody in November 2023, as reported by People. Jackson was ordered to pay $2,787 per month in child support in May 2025, per E! News.
However, things got complicated the following month when Jackson filed an emergency motion in June 2025, claiming that Turner-Smith had enrolled their daughter, Juno, in a new school without consulting him, E! News reported. He said he was worried she was focused on travel over Juno's schooling. A private judge is now handling custody decisions, as per a report in People.
Amid the complicated history since their divorce, when Kotb asked Turner-Smith what had been bringing her joy lately, her answer was refreshingly honest. "She's 6 now, and there's something special about this age," Turner-Smith said. "Hanging out with her is amazing. She's my little best friend, and I'm just amazed by who she's becoming."
Robert Plant Reveals This Song is the Hardest To Sing — And It’s Not a Led Zeppelin Track
Robert Plant is generally considered one of the best rock vocalists of all time. When he can belt out anthems like 'Whole Lotta Love', 'Stairway To Heaven' and 'Immigrant Song ', it's hard to imagine him struggling with a song.
But it's not a Led Zeppelin song Plant struggles with; it's actually a song on his 2007 album with Alison Krauss, Raising Sand. On the record, he covered a song written by the late co-founder of The Byrds, Gene Clark, for his early country-rock duo Dillard & Clark called 'Polly Come Home.'
'Polly Come Home' started life as a soft acoustic ballad, but Plant and Krauss decided to decelerate the tempo even more. While it turned the track into a slow, simmering blues track, it also made it harder for the iconic frontman to sing.
“It’s just the most difficult piece of music to sing at the tempo that we sang it at,” Plant explained back in 2021. “It’s one of the toughest calls I’ve had, apart from my audition in the Yardbirds.”
Plant explained what makes the song so hard to sing: “The song itself is just, it’s so poignant. And it’s so slow, so the very opening line of the song—in my chest, my lungs, my vocal cords, in my sense of timing—it was, ‘How am I gonna get these words right to the end of that bar without collapsing?’ It was just such a beautiful lilt.”
“So this is the guy that sang ‘Immigrant Song,’ he’s just gonna go and sing this song here where I need an iron lung to give me a little more air to get the song out,” Plant joked about his vocal struggles. “It’s just such a great song, but the tempo. It was so languid, it was magnificent. But it was a hell of a challenge.”
Robert Plant's singing struggles luckily didn't go underappreciated. The album, Raising Sands, topped the rock charts and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The record earned the duo five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for 'Please Read the Letter.'
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Reveals Her Working Mom Secrets, ‘You Just Do It’
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt just returned from maternity leave. How does she manage a demanding job with a grueling schedule while taking care of a toddler and newborn baby? The 28-year-old dished to Fox & Friends on a recent appearance.
As Leavitt finished speaking about PresidentDonald Trump’s busy week and America’s 250th birthday celebration, the mom of two got candid about her “secret” to work-life balance. And if you’re wondering, Leavitt is pretty much as clueless as the rest of us working moms.
How does Karoline Leavitt balance work and motherhood? She told Fox & Friends, “Well, I’m still trying to figure out the secret myself. You just do it. You just wake up, and you just do your best every day, day after day.”
Leavitt continued, giving Fox viewers an update on her new addition, daughter Vivi (with husband Nicholas Riccio), “But the baby is perfect. She is so sweet. She’s so cute. And I look forward to going home right now to get back to her.”
The new mom of two also sat down with the hosts of Fox & Friends, revealing that her hubby, Nicholas, helps out with baby duty: “My husband watched her overnight so I could get some sleep so I’d know what I’m talking about this morning. So I’m feeling good.”
View this post on Instagram How did the busy White House Press Secretary manage a quick return from her maternity leave?Viviana (a.k.a. Vivi) was born on May 1. Leavitt notably began her maternity leave roughly a week before her due date. So if you do the math, she was back on the job about eight weeks after giving birth. That means she’s dealing with a toddler and a newborn at the same time. Oh, and she also happens to have a job that doesn’t leave much time for, well, anything else.
Of course, it’s not easy for anyone, including celeb parents, to navigate working and raising children at the same time. Leavitt noted, “I’m back to work and motherhood is in full swing. So it’s very busy in our household right now.”
What is Karoline Leavitt’s view of raising children in America?Karoline also opened up about raising two children under two (her son Niko was born on July 10, 2024): “You realize how blessed we are to live in this country, to bring up babies in a nation where they can be whatever they want to be. Where they can be safe and happy, and live out their dreams. And I look forward to raising them in this wonderful country.”
Does this famous working mom have any other advice?Even though Leavitt doesn't exactly have the magic working mommy formula, she is spilling one secret that busy parents might want to know. When asked how she gets that post-pregnancy glow, Leavitt answered, “The makeup artist downstairs who did my glam this morning!”
The Press Secretary added, “I’m very sleep-deprived, but a good glam will help you through the day.”
Angelina Jolie Opens Up About Staying Single for Nearly a Decade After Brad Pitt Split
Angelina Jolie may be one of the most desirable movie stars in the world, but the actress just revealed she hasn't dated since her split from Brad Pitt.
Jolie, 51, who appears in the new film Couture, gave a surprisingly candid interview in which she revealed that dating just hasn't been a priority since her 2016 split.
“To be candid, I haven't dated or been with anyone since I divorced a decade ago, right?” Jolie told Yahoo Entertainment in an interview. “So I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me is not centered in my life if I'm focusing on my children and my family.”
Jolie's six children with Pitt include Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 20, and 17-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne.
With her kids becoming adults, Jolie told the publication that she's focusing on what matters, while also reexamining her priorities.
"So yes, things are changing, but in a way I didn't expect. It doesn't feel like I'm 51 and starting to think of being older. I'm thinking I have to live again. Be free again," she says. "In a way that maybe life has broken me a little bit."
Check out the trailer for Couture below:
Angelina Jolie Will Leave the United States When Knox Turns 18Back in 2024, Jolie shared with The Hollywood Reporter that when her kids are of age, she intends to high-tail it out of the United States and start a new life abroad. Knox and his twin sister, Vivienne, will turn 18 in July 2026, which will allow her to spread her wings wherever she chooses.
“I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave. When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be…that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here. [After Los Angeles,] I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world,” Jolie shared.
Her home is already on the market for just under $30 million.

In her speech, the new college grad opened up about her relationship with her mother, as Jolie stood beside her.
“When asked to speak with you all today on the value of mother-daughter relationships, it felt challenging to find the words,” Zahara began, according to a video on Instagram. “Not challenging because I don’t value it, but because my mom and I have a unique, almost kindred, relationship that can be hard to put into words.”

'SNL' Fans Are Losing It Over Michael Che’s Hilarious Colin Jost Birthday Roast— He Brought Receipts
Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che wished Weekend Update cohost and SNL writer Colin Josta happy birthday in the most Weekend Update way possible.
In an Instagram birthday post, Che called Jost his “good buddy” before launching into a hilarious roast that one fan described in the comments as “f—king gold.”
Che looked back on their years working together and joked about everything from Jost allegedly bringing a racist puppet to work and doing Nazi salutes on tour, to getting their first magazine cover canceled because Che was “making stupid faces.” He also referenced a trip to a “whites only store,” a WrestleMania incident that supposedly got them beaten up, and the awkward moments of watching Jost and his wife Scarlett Johansson argue at work.
View this post on InstagramChe even joked about a moment involving Harry Styles giving them flowers, claiming Jost accused him of being “reverse racist” after believing the singer liked Che more. The roast ended with Che joking about a time when the FBI allegedly thought the two were dating.
And then came the receipts — lots and lots of receipts. Che backed up his birthday roast with photos from the memories he referenced, including an image of Jost holding a sign that read, “Thanks to: R. Kelly,” and a photo of the two comedians posing in a convertible outside Whites Drug and Department Store.
The hilarious birthday roast is a perfect example of the end-of-season tradition between Che and Jost, where the two write brutal jokes for each other that they’re forced to deliver on camera — no matter how outrageous or inappropriate they get.
Fans leaned in hard, writing, "All the f—king receipts" and "this is more romantic than most wedding vows." One person wrote, "oh my god i was laughing so hard at the second slide and there’s RECEIPTS."
Another person added, "This was so heartfelt Michael, Colin you really need to thank him for birthday comments" along with a laughing, crying emoji.
'Two and a Half Men' Jon Cryer Admits He Was Burnt Out After 12 Years on the Air: 'I Had Become Exhausted with It'
As one of the most longest-running sitcoms of its era, there's no question that Two and a Half Men enjoyed quite a successful fun on CBS.
Yet even with its high ratings and assortment of prestigious awards and other related accolades, series star Jon Cryer admitted he was "exhausted" by the time the series came to a close after 12 years on the air.
Remembering his time on the show, the 61-year-old Cryer said he was ready for Two and a Half Men to end at the start of 2015, having grown wearied by playing the same character for over a decade.
“I had felt like I had done so much of Alan that I was starting to run out of places to go with the character,” Cryer told People magazine. “The writers had done amazing work coming up with new stuff and really doing wonderful things with the character, but I had become exhausted with it.”
Of course, Two and a Half Men was not without its fair share of challenges and setbacks. Perhaps most famously, the show faced potential cancelation after the highly publicized departure of Charlie Sheen, Two and a Half Men's main star, following a falling out with series creator Chuck Lorre.
Following Sheen's exit, the series continued for another four seasons with Ashton Kutcher in the lead role, with Cryer explaining, "We had to sort of remake what the show was."
Reflecting on his long-running stint on Two and a Half Men, Cryer said that he was anxious get back to work playing other characters than the cheap, perpetually down-on-his-luck chiropractor Alan Harper in Two and a Half Men, stating that he had no desire to play the character as long as, say, Kesley Grammer, portrayed Frasier Crane on TV.
“That's amazing," Cryer reflected. "He's a really singular talent, but I just felt like that there were other characters I wanted to do."
Country Star Breaks Another Billboard Record With No. 1 Hit Song
Ella Langley's crossover smash just achieved something no female country artist has ever done before.
One of country music's biggest breakout stars has added yet another historic achievement to what has already become one of the most remarkable years in recent memory.

Ella Langley's blockbuster hit "Choosin' Texas" has now spent 11 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the longest-running No. 1 Hot 100 hit by a woman with a country song in the chart's history.
The latest milestone breaks a record that had stood for nearly five decades. Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life" spent 10 weeks atop the Hot 100 in 1977, a mark Langley has now surpassed with an unprecedented 11th week at No. 1.
According to Billboard, "Choosin' Texas" earned 25.5 million official U.S. streams, 48.2 million radio audience impressions and 8,000 digital sales during the latest tracking week. The song also returned to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, logged a 12th week atop Streaming Songs and remained the No. 1 song on Billboard's Songs of the Summer chart for a fourth consecutive week.

Ella Langley's Incredible Billboard Run Keeps GrowingThe new record comes just weeks after Langley made history on another Billboard chart.
Earlier this month, "Choosin' Texas" became the longest-running No. 1 by a solo female artist in the history of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, where it has now extended its reign to 29 weeks.

The song also continues to rewrite the record books in another surprising way. This week's return to No. 1 marks its sixth separate stay atop the Hot 100, the most distinct No. 1 runs ever recorded for a single release cycle. It breaks the previous record of five separate returns to the summit shared by Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" and Harry Styles' "As It Was."
Langley's extraordinary 2026 has extended well beyond a single hit.
At one point this year, she simultaneously occupied the top three spots on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart with "Choosin' Texas," "Be Her" and her Wallen collaboration "I Can't Love You Anymore." She also set a new Academy of Country Music Awards record by winning seven trophies in a single night.

Just last week, Billboard also recognized another side of Langley's artistry by naming "Be Her" one of The 50 Best Songs of 2026 So Far, praising the deeply personal track for its emotional honesty and introspective songwriting.
With "Choosin' Texas" continuing to dominate streaming, radio and sales while rewriting multiple Billboard records, Langley's breakout year shows no signs of slowing down.

Streaming Increased Romance Book Adaptations in 2026, Research Finds
If it seems like there are more new romance book adaptations released on streaming than before, you're right! Bridgerton on Netflix reigned supreme, but has more competition since its 2020 premiere. A new study revealed how much it has increased and why.
Research Says Netflix and Amazon Prime Increased Romance Book AdaptationsAmpere Analysis released findings that 83% of first-run romance commissions in the first half of 2026 were scripted, according to Variety. Those commissions comprised 40% book adaptations.
This year started with the number of romance fans staying the same while action and adventure fell by 9% in the first quarter. The crime and thriller genre decreased by 5% within the same time frame.
Amazon Prime currently has shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty, Off Campus, and Red, White & Royal Blue. The streamer is going strong with Colleen Hoover adaptations.
The author blends the thriller and romance genres. Verity, starring Anne Hathaway, Josh Hartnett, and Dakota Johnson, will be released on October 2, 2026. The book is about a ghostwriter trying to finish another writer's story, who is comatose after an accident. She stays with the writer's family, which includes her handsome husband, during the process.
Netflix has People We Meet on Vacation, Pride and Prejudice, and more. So it's no surprise that Amazon Prime and Netflix are leading the charge in romance book adaptations this year, according to the research.

More Authors Are Signing Deals This YearThose numbers may continue to increase with the success of Heated Rivalry and Off Campus. Mercedes Ron signed a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios after the studio adapted Cupables and My Fault, according to Deadline.
Carley Fortune'sThis Summer Will Be Different will be turned into a 10-episode series on Netflix, according to Toronto Life. A woman named Lucy vacations on Prince Edward Island and meets a man named Felix. She finds out that he's her best friend's younger brother and they try to keep their distance from each other in the following summers.
The best-sellers list isn't the only possible source of this trend with streaming platforms. "The growth of social media has given rise to communities with shared interests, such as BookTok, which is transforming how young audiences discover, engage with, and share cultural content," Ampere Analysis claimed, according to Deadline.
Lights Out by Navessa Allen was popular on TikTok. Fans especially enjoyed the audiobook detailing a very private Josh Hammond stalking a trauma nurse named Aly Cappellucci. He finds out she's a loyal follower of his masked man TikTok account and that's when the stalking-turned-romantic relationship begins. Netflix announced it acquired the rights to the dark romance story this February, which is the first in a trilogy.
This is good news for romance readers. Companies are paying attention to their interest on social media. Hopefully, they will give us equally good, if not better, shows.

1969 Rock Ballad, With a Famous Live Version, Became a Classic Love Anthem
Before the end of the Beatles and their final studio album, John Lennon wrote a track about his relationship titled "Don't Let Me Down." Considered one of his most resonating love songs, the track became a moderate hit with a more popular live version.
Among the many stories that came out during the Let It Be/Get Back sessions, "Don't Let Me Down" was one that the Beatles agreed was one of Lennon's genuine hits. Written alongside keyboardist Billy Preston, the song landed at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and was originally scrapped from being added to the Let It Be album by Phil Spector. It was originally released as the B-side to "Get Back," which was recorded on the same day.
"Don't Let Me Down" gained greater popularity when it was performed live by the Beatles during their iconic rooftop concert in January 1969. Critics reported that the song had "heart-wrenching soul" and was one of the most underrated songs by the band. The live music video for the track is the Beatle's most watch video on YouTube, with over 570 million views.
According to reports, Lennon wrote the track about Yoko Ono, with Paul McCartney having called it a "genuine plea" for love. Lennon felt that he no longer needed to prove that he could write a hit track, and instead focused on how he felt about Yoko. McCartney once called it a "tense period" when the track was developed.
“John was with Yoko and had escalated to heroin and all the accompanying paranoias, and he was putting himself out on a limb. I think that as much as it excited and amused him, at the same time it secretly terrified him," he said in his book Many Years From Now.
"So 'Don't Let Me Down' was a genuine plea, 'Don't let me down, please, whatever you do. I'm out on this limb, I know I'm doing all this stuff, just don't let me down.' It was saying to Yoko, 'I'm really stepping out of line on this one. I'm really letting my vulnerability be seen, so you must not let me down.' I think it was a genuine cry for help."
McCartney called it a "good song" that was recorded in the basement of Apple Studio. Despite having given some input on the lyrics, they were ultimately rejected, and the track became a pure Lennon creation.

Robert Irwin Shares The Backstory of 'DWTS' FaceTime Call With Prince William
Robert Irwin and Prince William may or may not be on a cold FaceTime call basis at this point.
Speaking on UK morning show, This Morning, recently, the famed conservationist and Dancing with the Stars winner, recalled his surprise FaceTime with the future king during the show's filming, while talking about the pair's friendship.
"This is a perfect example of what he's like," Irwin started to explain. "He FaceTimed me in rehearsals with my dance partner, just to wish me well on all the dancing. I had no idea what was happening. They sit me down and they go, 'Apparently there's a really important call coming through,' and there he is on the laptop."
View this post on Instagram"And I'm just like, 'Oh, hey mate, thank you so much. This is awesome!" Irwin shared. "He is just a down-to-earth human being, and someone who knows the importance of conservation reaching different audiences."
The FaceTime call was aired on the show as part of a behind-the-scenes segment of Irwin's rehearsal with his DWTS partner Witney Carson. The exhange also promoted the royal's Earthshot initiative, which Irwin is an ambassador of.
"We're missing you Robert....Whilst your twinkle toes are going off elsewhere I need you down here," the royal said on the call while he was in Rio during 2025's Earthshot Prize ceremony. "You guys have got a serious good chance of winning so just the best of luck on the show."
The royal and Irwin (who, by some, may be considered royalty in his own right) have bonded over their passion for sustainability over the years. Most recently they teamed up and rode an eco-friendly bus in London ahead of the city's Climate Action Week "to talk about the wins — the amazing Earth Shot prize finalists."
"He is a passionate individual," Irwin shared of Prince William. "When I am around other people who share that passion for conservation, it gets me so excited and he truly is, I think, one of the greatest environmentalists that we have on the planet. He's amazing."
