Micro Bulldog Wants Second Breakfast--Attorney Filed Statement, Publicist Says He'll Settle
Chubbs the Micro Bulldog has an urgent request. The request is for a second breakfast. It’s not optional. He’s even retained counsel.
The TikTok from @chubbsandkalypso caught the whole thing playing out in real time. The text cleared up any confusion: "Chubbs is throwing a tantrum because he wants 2nd breakfast ASAP."
The rest of the story:
"Chubbs, you just ate breakfast. You can't possibly be hungry. Did you see how much food you just had? Yeah. Mm hmm. You're gonna pout. Yeah."
@chubbsandkalypso#chubbs #tantrum #bullies #funnydogs #dogswithattitude
♬ The Thing Is - Ty SimonChubbs considered all the information and respectfully disagreed. He's also pouty about it and he'd like everyone to know.
The comments arrived with the full weight of support:
"He said he's still hungry"
Simple. Direct. Exactly what the situation is.
"As Chubbs’ attorney and auntie, he is indeed hungry and didn’t get breakfast in the first place"
"Hey there! Publicist for Chubbs here — I've consulted with my client, and we will settle for a 2nd breakfast. Thank you for your attention to this matter."
The PR team has weighed in. The language is formal, and the position is clear. The settlement terms are a second breakfast. That's it. That's the entire offer.

"He's all muscle; he can handle it"
"Big boi gotta eat 😂"
The closing argument. Concise, persuasive and absolutely correct. And it turns out the food motivation behind that point is literally bred into him.
Why Bulldogs Are Basically Born Food Motivated—and Why Chubbs Has a PointAccording to Love to Know Pets, bulldogs are known for being big eaters who always act like they're hungry. This isn't a personality quirk specific to Chubbs. It's a breed thing.
Love to Know Pets explains that certain breeds are food-obsessed because some breeders, actually, breed that trait into them on purpose. Being food motivated does make dogs easier to train. Breeders reinforce this trait generation after generation because it produces dogs that will work hard for a reward.
For bulldogs, specifically, they're known for being big eaters who always appear to be hungry. They're also prone to overeating, which means portion control matters even when the pouty face is very convincing, and the legal team has already filed.
French Bulldogs share this trait too. They’re incredibly food-motivated, which tracks considering their long history as pampered companion dogs who've always operated on the assumption that unlimited treats are simply their due.
Chubbs is working from the same playbook. The tantrum, the pouting, the counsel — all of it is a food-motivated dog doing exactly what food-motivated dogs do.
The settlement offer stands: second breakfast.
Big boi still gotta eat.

5 Ways to Say “You Can Trust Me” to Your Dog So They Understand, According to Experts
As with any relationship, the one between you and your dog can be complex, but it starts with trust. Once your dog knows they can rely on you, a bond will develop between the two of you that is unbreakable. Therefore, it's important for pet parents to know how to communicate with their dog so you can make sure they know you're always their for them because you love them. That's why the trick is learning to speak their language through behavior and everyday interactions.
“Trust is the foundation of every great relationship between a dog and their person,” says Molly Jespersen, training specialist at Camp Bow Wow. “Your dog is navigating a world they don't fully understand, and you are their guide through all of it."
Because of this, how much your dog trusts you has a direct impact on things like their anxiety. However, once your dog starts recognizing you as a source of safety, they’ll be more confident, happy and connected to you and your family. “A dog who trusts their person will look to them for guidance when they’re unsure and recover more quickly from stressful situations,” says Amanda Farah, CPDT-KA, trainer and behavior coordinator at Best Friends Animal Society.
Of course, developing a bond takes time and patience to build. To help you know some things you can do to show your dog they can depend on you, we rounded up 5 ways to say "You can trust me" to your dog in their own language, according to trainers. These simple actions and traning cues will make your dog feel secure in no time and let them know you're their safe place.

How to Make Your Dog Trust You In Ways They UnderstandSeeing how dogs are known to be man's best friend, they always have your back. So, it's natural to want to show them you have their back as well, which all comes down to how much they trust you. Here are a few trainer-recommended ways to strengthen that bond between you and your pet.
Let Them Come to YouHow do you know if your dog trusts you? When it comes to your furry companion, trust grows when your dog feels they have a choice, especially when it comes to physical contact. “When a dog feels pressured into physical contact, it can set your relationship back,” Jespersen reveals. “Instead, crouch down, turn slightly sideways and let them approach on their own terms.”
Farah adds that even small interactions can help build trust with your dog when done thoughtfully. One way to do so is by petting your pup for three to five seconds, then pausing to see how they respond. “Do they lean in and ask for more, or do they turn away?” she asks. “Some dogs want to be near you without being touched, and that’s great. If your dog knows that you will let them decide when they want to be touched and then stop when they move away, they will be more likely to want to hang out with you.”
Use ‘Trades’ When They Take Something Calm responses to mistakes strengthen your bond.No matter how smart your dog is, they can't always understand every single word you say to them. Sometimes that's why your actions matter more when you're trying to build trust with your dog.
"Chasing your pup around your living room when they grab a sock, shoe or other item they shouldn’t have can feel threatening to them," Jespersen says. “Instead, try a dog trust-building exercise like offering a high-value treat or a favorite toy in exchange. This ‘trade’ approach teaches your dog that giving something up is actually a great deal for them, and it keeps their trust in you fully intact.”
This may take some time, though. “Over time, dogs who learn to trade often bring you things voluntarily,” Farah says. “That's a dog who trusts that you're not out to take things from them.”
Focus On Positive Reinforcement Training Trust grows in small, everyday interactions. One of the most important ways to talk to your dog in their own language and help them feel comfortable around you is with positive reinforement.
In fact, Farah says reward-based training is crucial. “When you do this, for your dog it's your way of saying, ‘I will always kindly guide you toward behaviors that make our life together work for both of us. I will never confuse you by giving you different answers to the same question, and I will never purposely cause you pain or discomfort,’” she explains.
From this, Farah reveals your dog learns to trust that you will help them find the easiest way to earn the reward, so they learn to love their training sessions. This method of training will not only bring you and your dog closer, but it wll also help to build up your pup’s confidence.

Be Consistent A calm dog who feels secure through routine and consistency. Some of the most powerful ways to let your dog know that they can trust you and that you're someone they can depend on doesn't involve anything doing anything difficult. According to trainers, simply being consistent in your actions and following-through helps build a sense of reliability and safety.
“Dogs feel most secure when they know what to expect,” Jespersen says. “Clear, consistent rules and routines let your dog relax into their environment because they always know what's coming next,” she says.
For Farah notes that feeding your dog at the same time each day, using the same cues for walks, and sticking to a predictable routine helps them quickly learn what to expect and builds trust over time. It just goes to show that some of the ways you can make your dog trust you are easier than you might think.
Get Down On Your Dog’s Level Trust-building can come through non-intimidating body language, like getting on their level.Getty Images raquel arocena torres
Seeing how you’re much taller than your dog, standing over them can sometimes feel intimidating or even threatening from their perspective. Getting down on their level helps reduce that pressure and makes you appear more approachable, especially to an anxious dog.
“They know that getting on the floor with them inhibits you a bit because you can’t move as fast, or chase them, making you little bit vulnerable," Farah explains. “This allows your dog to trust that they’ll be safe if they approach you.”
Jespersen adds that this for of communication with your dog also signals to your pup that you’re open and approachable, which can help build trust and encourage them to come closer to you on their own terms.

Labs Are Built for Water, and This Puppy's Bath Proves It Starts YoungIt's clear from this sweet viral video that Chocolate Labs were born to be in the water, no matter how young they are.
This puppy literally almost takes a nap while being bathed. She is so relaxed!
So why are Chocolate Labs and Labradors, in general, built for water?
Originating in Newfoundland and Labrador, in Canada, in the 18th century, they were bred to work alongside fishermen.
According to HowToAnimal, English nobles were impressed with the breed and took them back to England, where they became superb hunting assistants for retrieving waterfowl.
Their bodies make them agile swimmers: Labs have webbed feet, double coats to keep them warm in cold water, wide chests and strong back legs to make them fast and powerful swimmers, high body fat, and otter-like tails (which is why this puppy resembles an otter!).
They're also intrinsically rewarded by retrieving things from water, such as birds, fish, sticks, or Frisbees!
They also have a natural love of water, as is clear with this little puppy who was featured on a Lab breeder's page called The Happiest Labrador.

What To Consider Before Taking a Puppy on Outdoor AdventuresCrumble is having the best time of his life, there's no question about that, and it's so magical to see him experience new things that he'll probably love for the rest of his life. If you have a puppy and you're planning for them to join you on outdoor adventures, there are a few considerations to keep in mind first.
According to Outside Magazine, the best time to start outdoor adventures with your pup is within the first few weeks after bringing them home. They explain that when your puppy is 3 weeks to 3 months old, they learn a lot and are "like a sponge, soaking up the experiences that will define their personality." This means that if they go hiking, swimming, or on long car rides when they're young, they'll be comfortable with that being part of their typical everyday world.
Of course, it's important to consider safety first, make sure you've got your pup vaccinated, and take all potential risks into account, the site explains. Familiarize yourself with any wildlife in the area, pick up safety equipment like life jackets, learn about any plants that might be toxic, and book time with your veterinarian to go over other considerations for your dog and their specific breed.
Then, just have lots of fun, and don't forget to take photos and videos!
Woman Starts a Catnip Delivery Service for Neighborhood Cats—and It's an Instant Hit
If there's one thing most cats love, it's catnip. TikToker Judy (@judyandthecats) is a cat lover who rescues cats and even cares for an entire colony that lives in her yard. She recently came up with one of the most creative neighborhood delivery services we've ever seen by loading dried catnip into the back of a remote-control truck and driving it around for the local felines.
What's even better is that Judy mounted a camera on the tiny delivery truck so she could capture the cats' reactions up close. We thought at least a few of them might ignore it, but within seconds, her eager feline customers came racing over to investigate. The adorable scene has viewers agreeing that ice cream trucks have nothing on this, even though the neighborhood kids might not agree.

Why Cats Go Crazy for CatnipCommenter @Sandi shared, "I have never had a cat react to catnip. Ever." Believe it or not, not all cats are affected by catnip. But for the ones that are, the herb can trigger some pretty entertaining behaviors.
According to PetMD, "Catnip mimics feline sex hormones, so cats enjoying this substance will often display behaviors similar to a female cat in heat (although both male and female cats can experience the effects)." Those behaviors can include rolling, rubbing, purring, affection, deep relaxation, and even the occasional burst of zoomies. In some cats, however, catnip can also trigger aggression.
PetMD explains that the reaction is caused by a natural compound called nepetalactone, which binds to receptors in a cat's nose. While it's hilarious to watch, the effects are temporary and harmless, typically lasting about 10 to 15 minutes. Then it's back to normal... at least until Judy's catnip delivery truck rolls through the neighborhood again.
Former Street Dog Reunites With Rescuers, and His Reaction Is the Sweetest
Niall Harbison has garnered a huge following online, posting stories of the street dogs he saves through his Thailand animal rescue, Happy Doggo. Many of these canines come from heartbreaking backgrounds and deal with everything from health issues to fear of human touch. Yet Harbison works magic with these fur babies and shares many joyful transformations on social media.
The animal advocate often names dogs after celebrities. Harbison previously rescued a scared yet sweet dog he named Tom Cruise, and the precious pooch is now thriving.
View this post on InstagramThe Instagram post from @wearehappydoggo told Tom's story and shared how far he's come since his rescue.
"One year ago, he was a terrified street dog who barely trusted us," the on-screen text explained as Tom timidly stepped out of hiding toward his rescuers. "But a year of love changes everything."
Tom received medical care and lots of affection at Happy Doggo, which helped him learn to trust again. He now lives in a neighborhood community that adopted him as their own.
Harbison and his team had to bring Tom in for a medical checkup, refreshing bath, and, of course, an extra special "5-star dinner" of steak and eggs. Tom instantly recognized his Happy Doggo crew when they arrived for his pickup.
"He was so happy to see us," the story continued as Tom literally smiled and wagged his tail nonstop at the sight of his rescuers and got chauffeured to his destination.
Tom Is Now 'Healthy' and 'Deeply Loved'After a clean bill of health, a beauty bath, and a gourmet meal, Tom was escorted back home wearing a bright bandanna. Viewers may have noticed the canine cutie's "unique" walk, which is caused by an old injury that makes his leg a bit stiff. The Happy Doggo medical team checks it regularly to make sure he doesn't experience any pain.
Harbison noted that, despite the pain of his past, Tom learned to open his heart to others since his rescue.
"He still bears the scars of his past life, but the biggest transformation has been his trust," the caption read. "Clean, full, healthy, and deeply loved."

Rottweiler Has a ‘Surprise Baby’ and Can’t Believe Mom Doesn’t Think He’s the Dad
Rottweilers get a bad rap, and it's one of the things that makes me the angriest. I've never met a Rottweiler who wasn't the sweetest dog ever. As a bit of a downside though, I also have never met one who didn't immediately try to slobber all over my face.
Recently, one Rottweiler decided it was for the best for him to take in a baby. His mom found him lying with a tiny kitten, and she had to break some pretty hard news to him ... But he didn't believe her. As far as he knows, that's his baby:
@judah.and.piper0It’s not the size of the dog that determines whether they are safe around kittens. It’s the size of their heart. ❤️ #catsanddogs #dogbehavior #kittensanddogs #rottweiler #fosterkittens
♬ original sound - Judah and Piper🖤🤎Judah and Piper are the two Rottweilers who live in this house, but the one in this video is Judah. He cares for any and all of the little babies his mom might bring home! He has a huge heart, which is great because it matches his absolutely massive body.
There are a few cats in the house already, so both Judah and his sister know how to behave around them. The tiny kitten is completely safe! She's probably enjoying the extra warmth her 100+-pound personal space heater is providing. Even in the summertime, kittens tend to get cold easily.

Judah is just a gentle guy overall. Though he loves to play rough with his sister sometimes, he also needs a lot of snuggles every day — preferably while wearing his most handsome pajamas:

Are Rottweilers Good With Cats?If you watch just about any movie where dogs are featured and there needs to be a "bad" one, it's almost going to be a Rottweiler. They're portrayed as territorial, mean, and downright dangerous ... But that's not exactly the case.
Rottweilers can get along with cats perfectly well. These dogs are gentle-natured, and although they're not always aware of their own size, they have enough common sense not to push the limits. If you want to make sure your Rottweiler is cat-friendly, try:
- Bringing them around kittens/cats when they're puppies.
- Asking if they can do a "cat test" if adopting from a shelter.
- Adopting a kitten rather than a full-grown cat, as that can sometimes be easier to adjust to.
Patience, space, and knowing what you're doing will be the key to success in cases like this. Luckily, Judah was a natural!

Dog Mom Tested the Most Popular No-Spill Bowls and Found a Rare Winner

If you've ever stepped in a puddle five minutes after filling your dog's water bowl, you're not alone. Some dogs somehow manage to drink half the bowl while splashing the other half across the floor, leaving behind soggy mats, soaked socks, and a never-ending cleanup.
Rachel Bellinger, a dog mom, decided she'd had enough. After years of battling wet floors, she put five popular no-spill dog bowls to the ultimate test with the help of her lovable giant pit bull, Blaze.

She set a simple goal: to find out whether any of these bowls actually reduce the mess or are just marketing hype.
Five Bowls and One Motivated Pit BullBellinger tried five different products: the Petmate No-Spill Bowl, the Upsky No-Spill Water Bowl, the Upsky Dog Water Bowl 2L, the Heouvo 1 Gallon Large Dog Water Bowl, and the Twinsing 10L No Spill Dog Water Bowl.
Things start out bad with the Petmate bowl, as Blaze dunked straight through the opening, sending water everywhere. As Bellinger mentioned in the video, "That's just as flooded as if I didn't have the cappy thingamabob."
The Heouvo bowl performed well, earning the middle spot. The best thing about it is it holds a lot of water.
The winner was the Upsky Dog Water Bowl 2L. This one had no clip, and the clear wall lets pet parents see exactly how much water is left. Splash was minimal when Blaze drank from it. The design has a small lip around the edge that catches some of the splashing water.
"I think it's just the right size where the water wouldn't get too gross before it ran out," said Bellinger during her verdict.
Dog Parents Had Plenty of IdeasThe comments section filled quickly with more practical suggestions.
One person mentioned using a raised water bowl because dogs drip less when they lift their heads. Another recommendation is to place a rubber shoe mat underneath the metal bowl.
And some couldn't stop laughing at Blaze, with one saying, "Blaze popping his head down in front of the camera every time you put yours down to talk was so funny. He's such a character."
Related: This Washable Dog Bowl Mat Might Save Your Floors From Daily Chaos
Why Do Dogs Leave Mess in the First PlaceDogs do not sip. They use their tongues to drink, curling them backward into their mouth and flinging water with each stroke.
Large dogs do it faster and with even more force, splashing even more water when they walk away. Blaze's mom tried everything before, including silicone mats, plastic trays, bath mats, and even paper towels under the bowl.
But nothing solved the problem. She still had standing water on her floor and a slip hazard that can strike at any moment.
How Do No-Spill Bowls WorkUnlike standard water bowls, no-spill bowls use a floating plate or disc that exposes only a small amount of water at a time.
As dogs drink, the floating plate slowly drops, allowing more water to come through. Dogs cannot put their entire face into the bowl, resulting in less splashing.

The first signs something is wrong aren't always obvious. Your dog still greets you at the door, wagging their tail, but their post-walk recovery nap seems to take longer than usual. You might brush it off because, unfortunately, dogs can't tell us when something feels off.
While dogs cannot communicate with us, their blood can speak volumes. Luckily, a new preventive health company for pets is trying to use that information to help pet parents.

Wonderdog recently launched a preventive health platform designed to help pet parents spot potential health issues before obvious symptoms appear. For pet parents, it's a new tool in their arsenal for monitoring their furbaby's health between vet visits.
Why "Fine" Doesn't Tell the Full StoryCourtesy Wonderdog
Dogs can mask pain and illness until it's too late to intervene. They don't do it because they are stubborn; it's a survival instinct they inherited from their pre-domesticated ancestors. In the wilderness, showing weakness could attract predators.
Blookwork, however, doesn't lie. Wonderdog has markers for kidney stress, early cancer, liver strain and immune disruption. They show up long before a dog's behavior changes.
How it works is simple. Wonderdog will send a licensed veterinary technician to your home to draw a blood sample from your dog. With that blood sample, Wonderdog will measure over 40 biomarkers across six body systems. All samples are analyzed by Antech, one of the nation's most trusted veterinary reference laboratories.
As a pet parent, you'll have access to Wonderdog's platform where you can view your dog's personalized health profile. It includes blood test results alongside breed, age, medical records, nutrition, medications, symptoms, activity and health events. You can also log your pet's eating habits, behavioral changes, diet changes, injuries and vet visits.
Currently, the platform operates in Los Angeles and New York City (specifically Manhattan and Brooklyn), with plans to eventually expand to Phoenix and Miami, with more markets to follow. Annual membership starts at $249 for one at-home collection a year or $448 for two at-home blood draws.
If you're a pet parent outside Wonderdog's service area, you can sign up at wonderdoghealth.com to join the waitlist and be notified when service expands to your city.

How Does This Approach Help Pet ParentsMost people take their dogs to the vet once or twice a year for a routine checkup. However, because of the prohibitive cost of vet visits, some pet parents only take their pet to the vet when an emergency arises.
Because of Wonderdog's at-home blood collection and laboratory analysis, pet parents get a personalized health profile that they can compare over time. So, when they go to the vet, instead of looking at a single test result, they can compare their dog's health profiles. This approach can help with conditions that develop slowly, for example, liver disease or chronic inflammation.
The goal here is not to replace veterinary care. The goal is to give vets more information before the problem becomes obvious.
Prevention Saves More than MoneyWhen pet parents rush their dogs to the emergency vet office, the cost can be extremely high. Being proactive can change that.
For most pet parents, prevention can save money in the long run. Another benefit is that catching a disease earlier means earlier treatment and, in most cases, preserving a dog's quality of life for longer.
Ultimately, prevention saves you money and gives you more time with your furry friend.

Golden Retriever Refuses To Leave Dad's Lap During Fireworks and It's So Sweet
Though most humans love a good Fourth of July celebration with fireworks, there's one member of the family who's often a little less excited.
For many dogs, the Fourth of July and everything that comes with it isn't their favorite holiday.
This adorable Golden Retrievernamed Mia is a prime example of that, as the minute she hears the rumblings of a firework, she's already in panic mode.
This Golden Retriever is so afraid of fireworks that it means she needs to be as close to her dad as possible.
@miamiathegoldenThese week will bring lots of trazodone 🎇🎆 #goldenretriever #dogsoftiktok #summer #michigan #fireworks
♬ original sound - Mia💛Aww, we love that her dad brought her even closer to comfort her because his dog is afraid of fireworks!
The comments section featured many dog parents who could relate to this behavior.
One person wrote, "Literally me and my dog for the past hour."
Another wrote, "Ahhhhh, yes, our least favorite time of year."
After all, so many pups fear fireworks, which can make the whole summer season a very stressful time for them.
A recent Rover survey found that 65% of pet parents reported their dog or cat was afraid of fireworks, with 23% saying it was their pet's number‑one stressor.

Why Are Dogs So Afraid of Fireworks? For many dog parents, the summer season can be tough, as it's not only the Fourth of July that brings fireworks (though that's the most popular day for it), but really, the entire summer.
So why are so many dogs afraid of fireworks? There are myriad reasons.
First of all, the sound of fireworks is unfamiliar to pooches.
Because dogs can't identify the sound immediately, their sympathetic nervous system gets activated, and then they automatically go into a fight-or-flight response.
Fireworks also give a dog sensory overload with not only sounds, but also flashing lights.
Speaking of sensory overload, with pups having such advanced hearing, the sounds of fireworks can actually be painful to their eardrums.
How To Help a Dog Afraid of FireworksAs for how to help your dog during fireworks, there are a number of steps you can take to help your beloved pet.
Try using a calm voice and giving them praise and treats. Reassure them that it's going to be OK.
If their anxiety is super bad, where they're panting, trembling, hiding, or whining, you may want to talk to your vet about medication like trazodone.
If their anxiety is only moderate, you could consider calming supplements like the ones from JustFoodForDogs, which have passionflower and valerian to support optimal levels of GABA (a neurotransmitter that can have relaxing side effects).
You could also try enrichment toys or soothing blankets, or many people find the Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat toy, which lets the dog hear a real heartbeat that comforts them.
If your pup has a tendency to try to run away when they're frightened—1 in 5 lost pets go missing after being frightened by loud noises—you may need to put them in a secure room where they can't escape, like the basement.
But just comforting dogs like this dog dad does with his sweet Golden Retriever also helps!
Orange Cat Stumbles Upon ‘Three Baldies’ After Hopping a Fence, and His Face Is Priceless
Outdoor cats love to go places. It's part of the problem with outdoor cats: you never really have any idea where they're going or what they're getting into. They might look entirely safe on a little GPS, even, but it's still risky.
Case in point: this orange cat. He hopped a fence into a neighbor's yard and was transported to an alternate dimension where none of the cats have any hair! He's seen a lot of stuff while wandering through people's yards, but he's never seen three baldies at the same time:
@threestrangethingsHe thought he was escaping but he was just entering the next level of weird #sphynxcat #orangecat #catlover #cattok #funnycats
♬ walk a mile in these louboutins - lexington 💫He definitely saw Three Strange Things that day, and their names are Boon, Star, and Hank. They're 3 Sphynx cat brothers who get to have supervised outside time with their mom, although it's unclear whether she makes them wear sunscreen or not.
They have a beautiful yard. It's green, full of plants. I bet a lot of birds find their way in, which is awesome for the cats! However, that garden wall apparently makes a perfect perch for nosy neighbor cats, too. He isn't sure why none of the cats over the magical wall have any clothes on, but that's not really his business.

The boys probably wish the nosy neighbor cat would mind his business, but they don't let anything get them down. They love to run around their house and outside, and they love car rides, even though the sun passes right through their ears:

♬ On Melancholy Hill - regaldI think their mom is right: these are aliens in transport. The orange cat is going to go and warn all of his friends, but no one will ever believe him!
Should You Let Your Cat Interact With Outdoor Cats?A lot of times, outdoor cats will wander to places where cats live. You probably have things they find intriguing, and if you let them outside occasionally, they can smell them. Just because they're there, though, doesn't mean they should be allowed to interact.
Kala Moments / Getty Images
Generally, it's best not to let your indoor cat interact with an outdoor cat, especially one you don't know. While the cat might be friendly or even look like they want to play, they could be carrying:
- Diseases.
- Illnesses.
- Toxins on their fur that could be bad for your cat to lick off.
- Fleas or ticks.
Of course, you'll have to use your best judgment: if you know the cat and have spoken to their caretaker, know they have their shots, etc., you might feel comfortable with allowing them to interact. It's up to you! As for these three baldies, though, they're not super into it...

Rescue Cat Born Without a Nose Bone Is the Most Beautiful 'Dream' Kitty
Thanks to the power of social media, all the cool cats have a place to show off why they're so special. Some felines have enormous, polydactyl paws, while others boast a gorgeous coat color or two different-colored eyes. For one rescue cat named Little Abby, it's her one-of-a-kind face structure, which lacks a nose bone, but she's pure cuteness overload.
@littleabbycatThere is something so peaceful about watching a happy cat soaking up a patch of sunshine. These quiet little moments remind me that happiness doesn't always have to be big or exciting. Sometimes it's just a warm spot by the window and a face you love looking back at you. Little Abby has a way of turning ordinary moments into happy moments. As a cat mom, I never get tired of watching her stretch out in the sun, completely content with life. This rescue cat couldn't be any sweeter, no matter what she's doing, but Mom's right—there's something about watching a cute kitty enjoy life's simple pleasures that's like chicken soup for the soul. As one fan noted, Little Abby is a "little dream cat," and we couldn't agree more!

The tiny, 6-pound girl may look different, having been born without a nose bone, but her unique features have nothing on how cuddly and sweet she is.
This living doll made her TikTok debut in early May 2026, and she's leaving quite an impression on fans. But it's Mom whose love and devotion have clearly gone a long way in making sure Abby is happy and healthy.
"We are so happy to have her in our lives because she brings us so much joy every day," Mom wrote.

♬ My Kitty - Emergency Mouse How Rare Is It for Cats To Be Born Without a Nose Bone? While there aren't exact statistics, experts agree that a situation like Little Abby is extremely rare. Cats born without a nose bone or bridge, which fails to develop in the womb, are considered to be an anomaly with their Pug-like flattened profile.
Because of this, these kitties may have:
- Breathing difficulties
- Lots of snoring or sneezing
- Chronic nasal discharge and sinus problems
- Lack of the ability to smell
- Sensitivity to airborne irritants
Kitties born without a nose bone can go on to live their best lives, but regular veterinary care and keeping them indoors are priorities.
Look at Little Abby. She's not only thriving and loved, but she's showing the world that it's OK to be different. Actually, it's her resolve to be her unique self that makes her so special.

Orange Polydactyl Cat's Massive Paws Look Just Like Oven Mitts
Some cats have unique qualities that set them apart. From extra fluffy fur and mosaic markings to a sing-song meow and special strut, certain felines can really stand out from the crowd.
Artemis the orangepolydactyl cat can definitely turn heads, thanks to his gigantic paws that look more suited for a bear than a kitty.
@chelseyandthekitties🥾 🐾 Artemis is home and back with style after a scary hospital stay #polydactylcat #polydactyl #artemis #catsoftiktok #orangecat
♬ original sound - Chelsey + KittiesIn the TikTok from @chelseyandthekitties, Artemis strolled toward the camera as his orange feathery fur flowed with every step. Yet it was his ginormous paws that were more noticeable than anything else.
Artemis's obvious extra toes made him look like he was wearing boots or some other fancy footwear. Some polydactyl cats have a few more toe beans that are a bit understated, but not Artemis. His paws were truly massive and could make anyone stop and stare.
Artemis recently had a hospital stay where one paw was shaved down at the ankle, making it appear like he was wearing a glove. Followers were in awe over the pretty kitty's paws and compared them to everything from clothing to a food item:
- "I can’t unsee the Ugg boot," one remarked.
- "It's like a chicken drumstick," another noted.
- "It looks like a boxing glove — I love him," a follower raved.
- "It's like an oven mitt," someone pointed out.
- "He looks like he’s wearing a mitten on the one foot!" a fan gushed.
Polydactyly is a genetic condition where a cat is born with extra toes, which is caused by a genetic mutation that's passed down from one parent. This gene affects the development of paws during pregnancy.
This condition doesn't cause any health issues though they can require extra care including nail trimming and regular checks of paw pads.

The amount of extra toes varies for every cat, with some sporting "thumbs" making it look like they are wearing mittens. Polydactyl cats are believed to have some benefits like better balance, dexterity, and climbing ability, where the extra digits can also be helpful for hunting.
Artemis is a wonderful example of how adorable these fancy feet can look on a feline.

Stylish finds can sometimes be difficult to come by, especially when shopping for pet essentials. The design also incorporates a metal frame with a woodgrain finish that delivers strength and stability. Adding even more character is the woven rattan detailing, which introduces texture and a furniture-inspired aesthetic that feels more sophisticated than traditional pet beds. Rather than looking like a standard pet accessory, it resembles a thoughtfully designed piece of home furniture.
The pet bed includes the Gracie rattan pet bed frame, legs with pre-attached bolts, and assembly instructions. Grieving Pomeranian Finds an Unexpected Best Friend in a Gentle Giant
When a dog loses their best friend, the silence can feel bigger than anyone expects.
It's not just the missing body next to them on the bed or the empty spot during walks. It's the whole rhythm of their day changing. The playmate is gone. The familiar face is gone. The dog who understood all the little routines is suddenly not there anymore.
That's what makes this tiny Pomeranian's new friendship feel so tender.
@sunflowerandbee143I love them together #pomeranian #greatdane #dogsoftiktok #dog #puppy
♬ Dog Days Are Over - Florence + The MachineIn February, her human shared that the little Pomeranian lost her brother. Anyone who has watched a pet grieve knows how heavy that sentence can feel. Dogs may not explain loss the way people do, but they do notice absence. They notice a change in routines.
For a while, it can seem like they're moving through the world with a little less sparkle. Which can be hard to watch as a pet parent.
Then, in the video, we can see she finds someone new to walk beside.
And that someone just happens to be a Great Dane.
The size difference alone is enough to make me stop scrolling. She's this tiny puff of a dog, trotting next to a gentle giant who looks like he could cover her with one paw.
They walk side by side like it makes perfect sense.
The post caption says, "I love them together, " and honestly, so do I. This friendship is good for the Pomeranian. It's good for the Great Dane. It's good for anyone watching who has ever worried that a heartbroken pet might not find their way back to happy.
Maybe she didn't need someone the same size. Maybe she just needed someone steady.
There's something beautiful about a gentle giant becoming the safe place for a tiny dog who has already lost so much. It's the kind of friendship that looks unlikely for about half a second, then suddenly feels like the only thing that makes sense.
Be honest: Have you ever seen two animals become friends and thought, "Oh, they found exactly who they needed."
That's what this looks like to me.
Her brother will always matter. That bond doesn't get replaced. But seeing her walk beside a new friend is a reminder that grief and love can live in the same little body.
And sometimes, the next chapter shows up much taller than expected.
How Finding a New Companion Can Help Dogs HealWhen a dog loses a companion, a new friendship can sometimes help them feel more secure again. It doesn't replace the pet they lost, and it shouldn't be rushed, but the right companion can bring back pieces of a routine that suddenly felt missing: walking together, resting nearby, playing gently, or simply sharing space.
The American Kennel Club explains that dogs can show signs of grief after losing another dog, including changes in appetite, sleep, energy, and behavior.
A new companion may help by giving a grieving dog:
- A reason to reengage. Another calm pup can encourage walks and movement without pressure.
- A sense of routine. Familiar patterns can be comforting and help rebuild the daily rhythm.
- Confidence in social settings. A friend can make the world feel a little less lonely.
This Pomeranian's brother will always matter. But seeing her walk beside her Great Dane friend is a beautiful reminder that healing doesn't mean forgetting. Sometimes it just means finding someone kind enough to walk with you into the next chapter.

Bernese Mountain Dog Politely Waiting for His Ice Cream Cone Has Better Manners Than Humans
Don't be fooled by a Bernese Mountain Dog's large size — these pups are as sweet as they come, whether they're playing with their favorite human or meeting a brand new stranger that they will quickly make their best friend.
The proof is all in this TikTok video, which shows a Berner named Boone being a more polite customer at an ice cream shop than most humans. This pup has manners!

And then, the gentleness with which he took the ice cream cone out of his mom's hand? This good boy deserves as much ice cream as he could possibly want.
Sure, he ate the whole thing in one bite, but he was polite about it!

Bernese Mountain Dogs Are Known for Their Gentle, Patient TemperamentAnyone who thinks a gentle giant would be the best addition to their family needs to look no further. It's not just Boone who has such great manners; as a breed, Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for being patient, calm dogs.
As The Spruce Pets points out, Bernese Mountain Dogs are best known for being sweet, loyal dogs who are great with children, despite their large size. They love to make their humans happy, so it's likely you'll often catch them showing off their best manners and working their hardest to master a new trick.
They're also playful and full of energy, so you can count on them to join you for a long walk or help wear your kids out at the park. They're like really adorable babysitters, really.
Being that they love humans so much, it's important to remember that these dogs will get lonely if they spend too much time by themselves, so make sure you have plenty of quality time to dedicate if you plan to add one to your family.
And who knows? Maybe a Berner could be your next ice cream buddy.

Stunning Split-Faced Kitten Can’t Stop Looking at Her Rescuer With Love
There is simply no telling what kind of kitten you'll find on the street. People often have this idea in their head of what a "stray" cat looks like: scraggly, dull. Sad. While that's true a lot of the time, there are also tons of gorgeous kittens born into that world, too!
For example, this split-faced kitten. This is the kind of kitten people would pay a pretty penny for at a cattery, and yet, a woman happened to find her randomly on a walk! It was so sad to see, but now, they're thriving together:

Should You Keep Kittens You Find?A lot of the time, the expectation is that you find a kitten and you keep them forever. There's even a sweet name for it: the Universal Cat Distribution System. If the UCDS chooses you, you're supposed to keep the cat, according to the internet. And, if you find them in the middle of the night, your brain will tell you to, too.

If you find a kitten, you're welcome to keep it. However, you're welcome to find them a different home or even bring them to a shelter, too: there's no shame in that. Adopting a kitten is a huge responsibility. You should only take them in if:
- You have the funds to care for them.
- You have enough space.
- You have enough time.
- You're positive they're not chipped/don't belong to someone already.
If keeping them will cause you stress financially or decrease the quality of life for other pets in your home, it's best to let them go. That's okay! Holly got lucky. She found a mom and family who can handle her!
