Following two losses to Helias and Cape Notre Dame, Sullivan rebounded on Saturday to win their final two games of the Lady Jays Classic in Jefferson City.
Scoring eight runs in the final two innings, defending Class 3 state champion Helias took down Sullivan 9-0 on Friday in the Capital City Invitational.
Jaedin Blankenship cuffed St. Clair on Thursday as she put together a one-hit, 10-strikeout performance that helped the Lady Eagles to a 10-0 victory.
While some teams rely on one pitcher to carry them through the season, the Lady Eagles are finding that their path to success may rely on two.
Sullivan sent 13 batters to the plate in the fourth inning against Union on Tuesday and the march through the lineup produced eight runs, five hits, three walks and two hit batters.
