‘Boy Meets World’ Star William Daniels, Who Played Mr. Feeny, Starts His 99th Birthday Celebration Early

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:17pm

Actor William Daniels isn't waiting until his official 99th birthday to get the party started.

The actor is best known for his role as Mr. Feeny on the beloved family series Boy Meets World, but has had endless memorable roles throughout the years. He played Mark Craig on the medical series St. Elsewhere, and voiced KITT, the talking car, on the popular '80s series Knight Rider opposite David Hasselhoff. He even reprised his role as the sage Mr. Feeny on Girl Meets World, which aired from 2014 to 2017. Now soaking up his retirement, Daniels is ready to celebrate his 99th birthday on March 31. However, he isn't waiting until the official day to get his party on.

"99 years and the party keeps going!" the adorable Daniels captioned a photo, which featured the actor sitting in a chair toting a "happy birthday" balloon.

Does Daniels Stay in Touch With the Boy Meets World Cast?

When it comes to the stars that Daniels saw grow up in front of the camera on Boy Meets World, his wife, Bonnie Bartlett Daniels, says he misses them very much. However, they do stay in touch.

"Bill adores them all. He really does," Bonnie shared with PEOPLE last year. "He misses that experience with them. He likes to be part of a group. That's what really keeps you going — community."

Daniels does occasionally catch up with some of the crew. In 2024, he visited with Boy Meets World costars Rider Strong, Danielle Fishel, and Will Friedle, and snapped a fun photo with Bonnie by his side, of course.

When Fishel, who played Topanga on Boy Meets World, competed on Dancing With the Stars last year, Daniels was by her side on Dedication Night. She spoke about how much his presence meant to her and her fellow young stars on the series.

“He was there as a two-time Emmy winner, you know, carrying a show kind of on his back, and he never once talked down to us. He just always treated us like we were a peer. And we found out years later that he had been a child actor. He never told us that," Fishel shared. "He said, ‘I didn't want you to think that you needed to ask me about what my experience was like… You were just, you were on your own journey and I was just there to help guide you.’”

'Love Story': Sarah Pidgeon Admits Trickery Secured The Role of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:15pm

Landing the role of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy in the FX series Love Story took more than just a standout audition for Sarah Pidgeon. There was some trickery involved to get the series' producers to see her in the titular role of the fashion stylist turned Kennedy wife.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the actress revealed that the casting process involved more than just auditioning. She had to have the right look as well. That was achieved by a little creative license on her team's part to make Pidgeon look even more polished, chic, and unmistakably Bessette-Kennedy.

Bessette-Kennedy had blonde hair. Pidgeon has naturally dark hair.

Therefore, her team resorted to some light trickery to drive home the point that the actress had not only the talent but the look to play the role. She told Kimmel that her team "photoshopped" her dark hair blonde.

"My team actually photoshopped blonde hair onto me," Pidgeon told Kimmel. "I have very naturally dark hair. So I think that maybe helped with convincing production that this was the right move."

Achieving Bessette-Kennedy's beachy hair color and style was one of the biggest hurdles Love Story producers faced. After the first photos from the set of the Ryan Murphy production emerged, there was backlash, including commentary from Bessette-Kennedy's colorist Brad Johns, who told Vogue the color was "totally wrong."

Johns later shared his recollections of achieving the now-iconic hue in an interview with PEOPLE Magazine.

"Eye color's first because if it's blue, anything that's golden's going to show that up," Johns revealed. "And if they're icy blue, white shows that up. I would look at the whole package... I mean, she was just gorgeous."

He concluded, "Skin color second, time of the season third, and what you do for a living fourth. You can't be a judge with chunks in your hair, you just can't — but you could be Carolyn. She was gorgeous. She was so beautiful."

Sarah Pidgeon stars alongside Paul Anthony Kelly as John F. Kennedy Jr. in the FX limited series Love Story. Episode 6, "The Wedding," airs March 5 at 9 p.m. ET.

JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant Reveals What Really Happened at His Secret Wedding to Carolyn Bessette (Exclusive)

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:15pm

When John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette married on September 21, 1996, they pulled off what seemed impossible even in the pre-social media era: a completely secret celebrity wedding. While the world obsessed over every detail of their relationship, the couple quietly exchanged vows in a tiny candlelit church on Cumberland Island, Georgia. No paparazzi. No leaked photos. Just two icons declaring their love for each other in front of just 35 of their closest family and friends as wild horses ran along the beach outside. Iconic!

Nearly 30 years later, the wedding remains shrouded in mystery, with countless outlets mining Rosemarie Terenzio's 2024 book JFK Jr.: An Intimate Oral History for details. But on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Terenzio—who was John's executive assistant and one of his closest friends—chatted exclusively with Parade and went even further in detail. During our call, she revealed the truth behind every tabloid rumor—from whether Carolyn showed up on time to specific details about the dress, the ring—and the extraordinary lengths the couple went to in order to keep their big day a secret.

Terenzio didn't actually attend the wedding herself. In a brilliant move, she stayed behind in New York—specifically to throw the media off the scent. However, she was intimately involved in every detail of the planning.

Read on for our exclusive interview with the author behind JFK Jr.: An Intimate Oral History—now available in paperback edition.

The Story Behind Carolyn Bessette’s Wedding Dress, According to JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant

Narciso Rodriguez—Carolyn's close friend who was working for Cerruti at the time—created the now-legendary bias-cut slip dress.

The design process was intensely collaborative. "She and Narciso—they collaborated a ton on that dress," Terenzio says. "She went to Paris for fittings."

What made the dress revolutionary was how perfectly it reflected Carolyn's daily aesthetic rather than bridal convention. "If you took that dress in a navy blue and cut it at the knee, Carolyn could have worn that dress to a party," Terenzio shares. "It wasn't like, 'Oh, it's my wedding, so I'm going to go all out and do something I would never.' You know what I mean?"

The bias cut was deliberate: "She loved a bias cut because it looked great on her. When you're 5'10 and you look like her, a bias cut looks amazing on you. If you look at his fashion line, there's a lot of that aesthetic in it."

But comfort trumped everything. "Carolyn did not like adorned or ornate things," Terenzio tells Parade. "I think she was kind of the kind of girl who was like, 'I'm going to dance at my wedding and I want to have a good time, and I want to be in a dress that I'm comfortable in.'"

How Much Did Carolyn Bessette's Wedding Dress Cost?

Rodriguez gifted it to her—making it literally and figuratively priceless.

Did Carolyn Bessette Kennedy Have an Engagement Ring?

Yes, and it was distinctly her style—no traditional solitaire. "It was kind of like an eternity band with diamonds and sapphires,” Terenzio confirms.

The Story Behind Carolyn Bessette’s Wedding Dress, Told by JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant

She wasn't actually late—but getting to the ceremony involved bouncing down a beach in the back of a truck.

The First African Baptist Church on Cumberland Island had no electricity and presented some logistical challenges. "I think everyone was kind of late because they were getting married in a very tiny church and there was no electricity in the church," Terenzio explains to Parade. "They had to bring chairs down and they had to drive them on the beach."

Here's where it gets good. "Carolyn didn't have to sit on the floor of the truck or the seat of the truck driving down the beach—she had to sit on a chair in the back of the truck," Terenzio continues. "Because she didn't want her dress to wrinkle, so she sat on her knees on a chair in the back of the truck."

As for the rumors that Carolyn arrived late to her own wedding? "There were only 35 people at the wedding and if she was in fact late, I don't know how she could be late because they were all on the same island," Terenzio explains.

Why JFK Jr. Insisted on Marrying Carolyn Bessette in This Tiny Island Church

John was adamant about getting married at the First African Baptist Church—and the reason why is deeply moving. One of John's cousins had told him a story that when [his uncle] Robert Kennedy was shot, Beulah Alberty—the deacon of the church—came racing down to tell everyone around the island. The entire island gathered and they had a service in that church for Bobby.

That's why when people suggested he could just get married on the dunes or at the Greyfield compound, he insisted on the church—even though it had no electricity and required hauling chairs down the beach on trucks.

JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant Reveals the Brands Carolyn Bessette Kennedy Actually Wore

Her wardrobe mixed Prada with Gap Kids—yes, really.

But the most surprising source was Gap Kids. "We used to go to Gap and she would find these t-shirts," Terenzio recalls. "I remember one had 'princess' in small cursive and it had a cute little shoe like Cinderella. She was like, 'Oh my god, that's so cute.' [I agreed] and she's like, 'We should get them!' And we would get them—they were Gap Kids t-shirts in extra large."

She also loved Pearl River Mart. "They just had this really beautiful cotton and they were perfect," Terenzio says.

For designer pieces, the list reads like a minimalist's dream. "She loved Prada," Terenzio says. "And Yohji Yamamoto—she wore Yohji a lot because she loved his clothes, but also because Yohji didn't advertise anywhere, so she wouldn't show favoritism to one advertiser over another advertising in George."

Other favorites included Comme des Garçons, Ann Demeulemeester—and of course—Calvin Klein.

JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant Reveals Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s Signature Perfume

Carolyn had a signature scent, but it's not what you'd expect from someone married to a Kennedy. "She wore Egyptian Musk," Terenzio reveals. "And she bought it on the corner of Houston and West Broadway from a street vendor." The choice was quintessentially downtown New York in the 1990s—a $15 oil that smelled perfect, rather than a $300 designer bottle. So chic!

Carolyn's signature scent—Egyptian Musk—currently retails for $18.99.

What Makeup Did Carolyn Bessette Kennedy Wear? Her Surprisingly Simple 2-Product Routine

Her entire makeup routine consisted of exactly two products. "She didn't wear much makeup," Terenzio confirms. "She wore this Donna Karan tinted moisturizer. I remember that. And she wore Bobbi Brown Ruby lipstick."

Did Carolyn Bessette Kennedy Dye Her Hair? JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant Sets the Record Straight

Terenzio shuts down the tabloid rumor that Carolyn wanted to dye her hair black for the wedding: "Absolutely not. Not in a million years."

JFK Jr.’s Former Assistant Reveals How the Couple Kept Their Wedding Secret

The level of secrecy required was intense—down to midnight printing sessions at the George magazine office.

"We printed the programs at like 10 o'clock at night on the George printer because we didn't want it to get out," Terenzio reveals. "In the first batch, the paper was too thick to fit through the printer. So we had to go buy new paper the next day and come back the next night."

Terenzio herself stayed behind as a decoy. "I decided not to go because I was going to be there by myself and I didn't want to be there by myself," she explains. "And I also knew there was going to be an onslaught of media and inquiries and all of that. I was afraid that if I wasn't there, they would be suspicious and start descending upon the island somehow, so I stayed behind."

Terenzio poses with her 2012 memoir—Fairy Tale Interrupted—that explores her unlikely friendship with JFK Jr. In 2024, she released JFK Jr.: An Intimate Oral History.
The Touching Moment Carolyn Bessette Shared Before Walking Down the Aisle

Even on the eve of her wedding, Carolyn was worried about her friend feeling left out.

"I remember I was down at the apartment right before she was leaving and we walked out together. She was like, 'Are you sure you're not going to come? I feel bad, I feel like I'm leaving you behind,'" Terenzio recalls.

The next day brought a reality check. "She called me and she asked me if it was in the papers. She's like, 'Oh is it in any of the papers?' I'm like, 'Excuse me, the world is blown up with it—yeah!'"

The paperback edition of JFK Jr.: An Intimate Oral History is now available wherever books are sold.

Watch the Country Artist Whose ‘Voice’ Blind Audition Made Kelly Clarkson Happy That Blake Shelton Wasn’t There (Exclusive)

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:10pm

With only two spots left on her The Voiceteam to fill, Kelly Clarkson was waiting for a 3-chair-turn artist because she’s very competitive and wants to win the “Super Steal” for the Battles, which will be awarded to the coach who gets the most 3-chair-turn artists on their team.

At this point in time, Adam Levine is leading the competition with three artists, while Kelly has two and John Legend has one, so she has been playing it close to the vest and not turning for just anyone. But talent will out and Kelly felt compelled to turn for country artist Houston Kelly from Memphis, TN, who sat down at the keyboards and performed “Walking in Memphis.”

Even so, she did wait until the very last minute.

“I was so close,” she said. “I’m sweating. I've never waited that long. I literally was thinking, ‘I already have country,’ but then I was like, ‘Wow, but nobody sounds like this though.’ You are so talented.”

🎤 SIGN UP for our The Voice newsletter to get access to exclusive news, interviews, insider info, sneak peeks & more🎤

When Kelly found out Houston’s last name was Kelly, it seemed as if it was fated to be.

Then she asked who he grew up listening to and Houston said, “When I first started, my dad and I would ride around in his pickup truck listening to Alabama's Greatest Hits CD. I think that's where it all started for me.”

After hearing Houston talk, Adam said, “He’s so country, I don’t even know what to do about it.”

Then Kelly added, “What I love most is that Blake Shelton isn't here because if he was, I know you’d pick him.

“If Blake were here, it would be already over,” Adam agreed.

“But he’s not, so I'm very excited,” she continued.

“His ghost haunts us every day,” John added.

“He does,” Kelly said. “He has that effect that lingers.”

Then Adam said, “She turned at the last second and blew our minds. I was thinking about it, too, right when she did it, and then I was like, ‘This is an uphill battle for me that I'm going to lose.' Did you notice how she gets a little more country when she starts to talk to a country artist?”

“I get real country when I talk to my sister because she's from North Carolina and that's a different dialect,” Kelly admitted.

“You're clearly where you should be and I'm happy for that,” Adam told Houston. “You're great, man.”

Then John told him, “I thought you gave a really strong performance. Your voice has so much power to it. Kelly's going to be a great coach. I'm so excited for you, Houston.”

“You have a lisp that’s like Toby Keith, a little growl to you a bit, which I love. You're just such a great, solid country singer and I love that.”

“Houston was amazing,” Kelly said to the camera. What I loved about Houston’s voice was that he has this big, round tone, and I love that his name was Houston Kelly. I have one spot left and I really want something special. Right now, I have country, singer-songwriter, it's kind of all over the map, but I am looking for soulful pop. I would really like someone to fill it out in a different way.”

Nancy Guthrie Breaking Update: FBI Suddenly Returns to Neighborhood on Day 33

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 12:10pm

On the 33rd day of Nancy Guthrie's disappearance, three officials were filmed going door-to-door in the neighborhood, speaking with residents on N Camino Miraval, the street that runs perpendicular to Nancy's street.

According to a live feed by JLR Investigates, who has been live streaming in the area since the very early days of the case, the agents were wearing clothing that read "Violent Crimes Task Force." JLR said that there were two more agents going door-to-door in an area just south of Guthrie's home on N. Camino Escalante, and additional activity on nearby street E Miraval Quinto.

Related: Nancy Guthrie Latest Update: Expert Raises Chilling Possibility About the Suspect in the Case

The FBI has canvassed the area in the past, going door to door and asking residents if they'd seen anything suspicious—and asking about any video footage that might be helpful in figuring out who is responsible for Nancy's disappearance.

On Friday, Feb. 27, the Pima County Sheriff's Department shared that they were "refocusing resources" in the case.

"This remains an active investigation and will continue until Nancy Guthrie is located or all leads have been exhausted," the update read. "[The department] is refocusing resources to detectives specifically assigned to this case. As leads are developed and resolved, resource allocation may fluctuate. PCSD will maintain a patrol presence in the Guthrie neighborhood."

Since that update, there has been little-to-no police activity in the area.

Guthrie has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Per NBC News, police have turned Guthrie's home back over to the family. On March 2, Savannah along with her sister and brother-in-law went to the house in what was undoubtedly an emotional return. The three hugged one another as they looked at the flowers and other items that the public has left in support of the family.

Dormant Yellowstone Geyser Erupts for the First Time Since 2017—What Does That Mean for Tourists?

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:51am

Yellowstone National Park is full of surprises. With more than 10,000 geothermal features dotted across its forests and basins, this wild landscape of steam, mudpots, hot springs, and jets of boiling water never lets you forget there’s powerful geology beneath your feet.

But even by Yellowstone standards, something unusual has happened recently: a geyser that hasn’t erupted in years suddenly came back to life. And for travelers who love geological oddities, it’s a reminder that nature has its own timing, and often its own sense of dramatic timing too.

Sign up for our newsletter and get hidden gems, travel secrets, and stories like this delivered straight to your inbox!

What Is Echinus Geyser and Why Its Return Matters

At first glance, a geyser might look like a fountain in a garden gone wild, but Echinus Geyser is anything but ordinary. “Eruptions of Echinus Geyser varied tremendously when the geyser was vigorously active,” states the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, “They could be vertical or inclined, occasionally soaking onlookers with warm water, and could be regular enough that the park would sometimes post predictions.”

Echinus is the world’s largest acidic geyser, located in the Norris Geyser Basin, one of Yellowstone’s most dynamic thermal areas. Its name comes from the spiny rocks around its pool that reminded early scientists of sea urchins. Unlike many geysers that have mostly neutral water, Echinus’s water has a lower pH, similar to orange juice or vinegar, due to a mix of acidic gases and neutral groundwater.

Related: Beloved National Park Currently Has the Best Flowers Since the 2016 Superbloom

Here’s the exciting part for travelers: after years of silence, Echinus began erupting again in early February 2026, with the first surge recorded on February 7. By mid‑month, the geyser was spraying hot water and steam roughly every two to five hours, reaching heights of about 20 to 30 feet. Before this revival, the feature had been dormant since about 2020, and eruptions had become increasingly rare since the early 2000s.

How This Change Is Impacting Tourists

Yellowstone’s hydrothermal features are always changing, but very few reawaken like Echinus has. For visitors who planned trips for late winter or early spring, this news adds an unpredictable bonus to their itinerary.

The geyser’s active phase could last weeks or months, or it might quiet down before peak visiting season. Scientists note that Echinus historically wakes up for short windows, often a few months at most, before returning to dormancy.

Tourists headed to Yellowstone specifically for this event would do well to combine it with other geothermal highlights so their trip still feels rich even if Echinus falls silent again. Yellowstone’s hydrothermal areas are dangerous without caution. Stay on boardwalks and trails, respect posted signs, and never venture off path to get closer to a feature, the ground may be thin and the water scalding.

Geysers You Can Usually See Erupting in Yellowstone

Yellowstone has geysers that are easier to plan around. Some of the most popular include:

  • Old Faithful: The park’s most famous geyser, shooting water more than 100 feet in the air on a predictable schedule.
  • White Dome Geyser: A cone geyser in the Lower Geyser Basin, erupting often enough to allow multiple sightings in a single day.
  • A‑0 Geyser: Smaller but very frequent eruptions, every 20–30 minutes, perfect for travelers short on time.
  • Steamboat Geyser: The tallest active geyser on Earth, erupting unpredictably but with spectacular water jets hundreds of feet high.

Checking real-time updates from the National Park Service or the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory can help travelers maximize their chances of seeing eruptions.

View this post on Instagram Visiting Yellowstone’s Geyser Basins

For travelers, the geyser basins of Yellowstone are like geological museums you can walk through. Norris Geyser Basin, where Echinus sits, is one of the hottest and most dynamic, with acidic pools and steam vents that feel almost alien.

Other popular basins such as Upper Geyser Basin (home to Old Faithful), Midway Geyser Basin (with its breathtaking Grand Prismatic Spring), and Lower Geyser Basin each offer different moods and landscapes.

Early morning and evening visits often provide the best lighting for photos, especially if there’s steam rising against colorful thermal deposits. Because the park stretches for hundreds of square miles, consider giving yourself at least a few days to explore, so you don’t feel rushed between basins, wildlife areas, and scenic overlooks.

What This Eruption Says About Yellowstone’s Ever‑Changing Nature

Yellowstone’s geysers are a reminder that Earth is alive in ways we rarely see. Echinus’s return underscores how dynamic this landscape is, and how unpredictable geothermal activity can be.

Whether you’re planning your first trip to Yellowstone or returning for another look, keep one eye on scientific updates and one eye on the horizon. Because here, at the meeting point of fire, water, and stone, nature often has a story to tell.

Though the agency is not releasing further details, it did confirm with the news network that a suspected DUI was the reason for Spears’ arrest.

Spears is schedulted to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on May 4

In a statement provided to news outlets, a representative for the pop star said, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”

The rep also confirmed that Spears’ sons, Jayden and Preston — whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline — “are going to spend time with her.”

“Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being,” the statement added.

In addition to her rep, fans are worried about Spears' health, taking to social media to voice their concerns.

“On no, she was doing so good,” one commenter shared on Page Six’s social media post detailing the arrest. Another added, “Oh no, that breaks my heart. I am so sad for her.”

Since the arrest, Spears’ Instagram account has been deleted.

This story is still unfolding.

Six Flags Just Announced It Is Selling 7 Major Parks—Is Your Favorite on the List?

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:35am

North America’s largest regional amusement park operator is making some big moves. Following the $8B merger of Cedar Fair Entertainment and Six Flags, the conglomerate has been implementing changes to simplify its operations and improve the guest experience. And next on the docket is streamlining its expansive portfolio.

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has announced in a press release that it will sell off seven of its parks to Kansas City-based EPR Properties for a reported $342 million. Six of the parks will then be leased to Enchanted Parks (formerly Innovative Attraction Management). Enchanted Parks currently operates Diggerland USA in New Jersey and Water Safari Resort in New York.

The Six Flags parks being sold include Valleyfair (Minneapolis, Minn.), Worlds of Fun (Kansas City, Mo.), Michigan’s Adventure (Grand Rapids, Mich.), Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston (Galveston, Texas), Six Flags St. Louis (St. Louis, Mo.), Six Flags Great Escape (Queensbury, N.Y.), and Six Flags La Ronde (Montreal, QC). During the transition, all parks will continue to operate under the Six Flags brand through the end of 2026 and will honor all season passes. Regular operating schedules through the end of year will also not be impacted.

The seven parks draw over 4 million guests annually and offer more than 400 attractions.

“Consistent with our strategy, this divestiture enables us to concentrate our capital, leadership and operational focus on the properties that we believe generate the strongest returns and offer the greatest long-term upside,” said Six Flags President and CEO John Reilly, who assumed the role last year. “Since joining the Company, I have been clear that Six Flags’ earnings power has been under-realized. This transaction will simplify our portfolio, strengthen our balance sheet and position us to execute with greater clarity and discipline. By focusing our resources on the parks that we believe have the highest growth potential, we expect to drive operating leverage, expand margins and accelerate our cash flow generation.”

The transaction is expected to be complete by early April. After such, Six Flags will continue to operate 34 parks across 23 destinations in North America.

Since acquiring Cedar Fair, Six Flags has made bold moves which include investment in new attractions, including a record-breaking coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, and selling one of the largest ownership stakes in part to NFL player Travis Kelce.

'I Am Jazz' Star Jazz Jennings Resurfaces Painful Childhood Footage To Send Strong Political Message

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:32am

Jazz Jennings is using one of her personal childhood experiences to advocate for the rights of trans kids.

In an emotional new Instagram video posted Wednesday, March 4, the I Am Jazz star resurfaced footage from her childhood when her dad, Greg Jennings, delivered a tearful speech after an 8-year-old Jazz was banned from playing girls soccer due to being trans.

Speaking through tears in the flashback video, Jazz's father said the decision to ban her from playing soccer on the girls team had "taken away a piece of her heart and her parents'."

"I'm respectfully asking for you to restore it," the tearful message continued. "Please let her play girls travel soccer presently, or let me know what reasonable steps we must take."

Jazz, now 25, then addressed the camera in her Instagram post on Wednesday, while she admitted, "This clip makes me emotional every single time I watch it."

"It's the reality so many transgender kids are now facing even fifteen years after this video was taken," she continued.

Jazz said in her experience, she was told she couldn't play on the girls soccer team because she had a "competitive edge" from being assigned male at birth; however, she explains that not only was this before she would have hit male puberty, but she said she was "one of the smallest girls" on the team anyways.

"Think of all the young kids who just want to have fun and play sports," she further implored. "No trans kid should be told, 'You don't belong.'"

Jazz also announced in the video that she was partnering with the ACLU to spread a message about the importance of letting all kids play sports, and encouraging others to share photos and videos of what sports taught them during childhood.

In her caption, Jazz wrote, "Trans sports bans are ripping the hearts out of trans kids and their families. And for what? Trans people make up less than 1% of the population. Policies have been in place for years to ensure fairness while also allowing trans kids to play."

She concluded the post, "We must stop these bans. 🏳️‍⚧️"

1995 No.1 Track was Originally Released in a Popular 'Batman' Movie Soundtrack

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:31am

Movie popularity often comes with a hit soundtrack, and the 1995 Tim BurtonBatman Forever movie had a hit track by U2 that peaked on the charts. Led byVal Kilmer as the capped crusader, the U2 song was later released as a single and even gained a Grammy nomination.

In 1995, Batman Forever became the third installment in the movie franchise and acted as a standalone sequel to Batman Returns. Kilmer would end up being the replacement after Michael Keaton and starred alongside Jim Carreyas The Riddler, Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face, Nicole Kidman, and Chris O'Donnell. The film became a box office success thanks to its visuals, storyline, and soundtrack.

U2's "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" was one of the film's hit songs that was originally released as part of the official soundtrack. The song's creation occurred in 1993 when the band was working on their Zooropa album. Later on, the band became involved with Batman Forever when director Joel Schumacher planned to have Bono appear in a cameo role as MacPhisto.

When meeting together about the role, they both agreed it wouldn't work out, and U2 instead offered up "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" to include in the soundtrack. The song was a success and was later released as a single by the band and included in their The Best of 1990-2000 album. The official animated music video also included the band performing in Gotham City.

"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" reached No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, but landed in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Album Rock Tracks and Modern Rock Tracks charts. The song's popularity among fans also led U2 to be nominated for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Rock Song at the Grammys. It also received a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song nomination.

The Batman Forever soundtrack also included other popular hits like Seal's "Kiss From a Rose," Mazzy Star's "Tell Me Now," "Smash It Up" by The Offspring, and more.

1965 Motown Hit Ranked Among 'Greatest Songs of All Time' Turns 61 Today

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:18am

Did you know one of Motown’s most iconic songs almost didn’t exist? “Ooo Baby Baby,” the beloved hit by Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, started as a spontaneous onstage improvisation — and ended up on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

In 1965, The Miracles were performing at the Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. Smokey Robinson typically sang a medley of love songs by other artists, but one night he spontaneously added the line “Ooo baby baby.”

“The guys, we were so in tune to each other, they just started to harmonize with that, and the people went crazy. So, we decided we would just do a song,” Robinson recalled to WaxPoetics.

The R&B group soon released “Ooo Baby Baby,” taken from their Going To A Go-Go album. Written by Robinson and Warren “Pete” Moore, with Robinson producing, the song features a plea from the lead singer asking his partner for forgiveness after cheating.

The single, featuring strings from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a fan-favorite track for the band. It also ranked #266 on Rolling Stone’s 2003 edition of “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”

Robinson jokingly referred to the song as his “national anthem,” explaining, "Wherever we go, it’s the one song that everybody asks for."

Aretha Franklin’s Tribute

As much as audiences loved the song, it also resonated with fellow artists, including Aretha Franklin.

By 1979, she was going through a slow period on the charts. Her last Top 20 crossover hit had come in 1974, and the disco trend of the late ‘70s hadn’t quite aligned with her sound.

During a December 1979 episode of Soul Train, host Don Cornelius asked Franklin to perform a song by Robinson instead of her own hits. Robinson, present at the show, interjected, “Wait a minute, now,” prompting Cornelius to clarify, “I don’t mean it like that.”

Franklin graciously agreed and played “Ooo Baby Baby on the piano.” Though their duet lasted just two minutes, their impromptu performance is considered “one of the greatest moments in music history,” according to fans.

The clip of their rendition has been uploaded online, and viewers can’t get enough of the way their voices seamlessly blend. “This is what happens when the sun and moon are in sync … simply beautiful,” wrote one fan.

“No auto tune!! No practice! Real talent!  Y’all already know there’s no comparison,” another added.

The duo seemed to share the fans’ sentiment. After the performance, Franklin said, “We should have been a duo,” and Robinson answered, “It’s not too late.”

'The Traitors' Star Maura Higgins Names 'DWTS' as Her Next Dream Reality Show

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:17am

Love Island star Maura Higgins may have missed out on the cash prize when her confidant, Rob Rausch, revealed himself to be a Traitor all along on The Traitors Season 4, but there's no denying she snagged the crown for Best Dressed.

Now, imagine her show-stopping outfits if she were to compete on a future season of Dancing With the Stars!

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, published on March 4, Higgins revealed that she would love to "challenge" herself by stepping onto the DWTS ballroom floor.

“Maybe [I’d do] Dancing With the Stars,” Higgins shared when asked about joining another reality show. “It’s something that’d be a challenge for me. I’ve never danced. I’d done a bit of Irish dancing when I was younger. It’d be a huge challenge, but I know I’d throw myself into it and all the looks and glitter," she added.

Higgins noted that she and fellow Faithful, professional dancer Mark Ballas, who returned to DWTS for Season 34, would dance together in the castle. “We had a lot of fun. He’s just an incredible dancer.”

So, does that mean a couple is already established for season 35?

View this post on Instagram

Even if Higgins doesn't land a spot on DWTS, she still has plenty of projects in the works, including teasing a fashion collaboration. "[There’s] a lot of exciting conversations with designers. Obviously, I really love fashion, so there’s a lot happening around that, which I literally could scream about,” she told the outlet.

And that's not all. Higgins is also considering scripted projects, breaking out of reality TV. "Then [I’m]also having exciting conversations with producers and execs in the scripted world, which could be very different for me,” she said, adding, "There’s stuff happening that I could have only ever dreamt of, things that are on my vision board that I probably never thought would become a reality."

Aldi Is Selling an Unusual Soup Variety, and Shoppers Are Totally Divided

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:15am

From pizza-flavored snacks to taco-inspired casseroles, these creative combinations deliver familiar flavors in new formats. For shoppers who love comfort food but also appreciate convenience, these hybrid products can be an easy way to enjoy the best of both worlds without spending hours in the kitchen.

That idea is likely what inspired Proper Good's Pizza Soup, a ready-to-heat bagged option that promises the classic flavors of pizza in a warm, spoonable form. The product combines ingredients typically found on a slice—tomato-based broth, cheese and pizza-style seasonings—sold in a single packaged meal designed for quick preparation. Aldi Shoppers React to Pizza Soup

And while the concept intrigued plenty of people, reactions across social media have been mixed. Some shoppers say the novelty of pizza in soup form makes it worth trying, especially for fans of hearty comfort foods. Others aren't as convinced, questioning whether the familiar flavors of pizza translate well into a bowl of soup. As photos and opinions continue circulating online, the product has sparked plenty of conversation among curious Aldi fans.

A handful of folks were not keen on the idea. "I pictured a slice of pizza in the blender and backed away slowly.. it literally looks like a plastic sack of pre-chewed pizza," said one person. "I grabbed it to show my husband. His face was priceless when he read SOUP and PIZZA," cried another. "I've never bought it but I'm sure it tastes like acid reflux at 3am," yelled one more.

On the contrary, many of those who tried it thought it was delicious. "Bought the croissant toast, made grilled cheese and used this as the dipping sauce. It's basically a spicy tomato soup with little chunks of pepperoni," remarked one shopper. "I haven't tried this, but my kids LOVE when I make crockpot pizza soup...it is one of our favorites—so I may have to give this a try for a quick fix meal!" exclaimed another person. "Basically a tomato soup with mini pepperonis in it. We ate it with grilled cheese and it was really good!" stated one more.

I suppose we should remain open-minded about a mashup of pizza and soup, since enough commenters claim it tastes pretty stellar. I think the curiosity is going to get the best of me, and I'll have to try it out for myself.

Nancy Guthrie Latest Update: Expert Raises Chilling Possibility About the Suspect in the Case

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:08am

A spokesperson for the National Police Association says investigators in the case of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, may be considering a chilling possibility: that the person responsible could return to the growing memorial outside her home. In cases involving suspects who crave attention or feel a connection to the victim, experts say it’s not uncommon for individuals to revisit crime scenes or even memorials to observe the public response.

Neither the Pima County Sheriff's Department nor the FBI have released a name of a suspect in the case, but Betsy Brantner Smith suggests that the person could be keeping a close eye on what's been going on.

"In this type of situation where you have the potential for a suspect having done this because he or she is somehow obsessed with Savannah Guthrie or seeing Nancy featured on the 'Today Show' multiple times… someone who is obsessed with notoriety, celebrity — there’s a lot of pathology involved in that," Brantner Smith told Fox News Digital.

"Potentially, that is the type of person that could come back to the memorial, look at the memorial, even take photos of the memorial and add to the memorial themselves," she continued, adding that "sometimes the offender will come back to the scene of the crime. So, in that vein, they would come to the memorial, and they may have left their own note, their own flowers."

"I am guessing that the suspect or suspects who did this are frankly taking great pride in the fact that so far they've got away with it. Coming back can also be a way to bring back that rush that they had when they originally committed the crime," she said.

Nancy, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb 1. On Monday, March 2, Savannah, her sister Annie Guthrie, and Annie's husband, Tommaso Cioni, returned to their mom's home for the first time after authorities released the home back to the family. The three were extremely emotional as they looked at the flowers, candles, and notes left by the public.

As of this writing, Nancy has been missing for 33 days. Authorities believe that she may have been abducted from her home in the middle of the night, but additional information about what might have happened inside the home on that fateful night is still unclear.

Thu, 03/05/2026 - 11:03am

You won't be seeing Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Survivor anytime soon—or ever.

Before starring on The View from 2003 to 2013, which she rejoined this week as a five-day guest co-host, the conservative TV personality first rose to fame as a contestant on Survivor: The Australian Outback in 2001, where she placed fourth.

In a new interview on The View's companion podcast, Behind the Table, Hasselbeck revealed if CBS has ever asked her to return to the hit reality series.

"They have," Hasselbeck said, before explaining that she'll never go back to the show. "Solid no. Solid no, every single time."

Prior to the cast announcement in May 2025, Hasselbeck was rumored to be a contestant on Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans. The landmark season features all-returning players from every era of the show, including Hasselbeck's Australian Outback co-star Colby Donaldson.

When asked if she was invited to be on Survivor 50, Hasselbeck paused, then responded, "I think, maybe, there was an indirect ask. I think I'd trained them to know [I'd say no]."

She then explained her reasoning, saying, "I don't think I could leave the kids. I barely want to miss a [sports] game today that I know is going on."

Hasselbeck shares daughter Grace, 20, and sons Taylor, 18, and Isaiah, 16, with husband Tim Hasselbeck, whom she married in 2002.

When asked if she'd want to "skin a pig again" on the reality show, Hasselbeck laughed and said: "No, I can not!"
