While people can experience a range of emotions in retirement—excitement, relief, financial concerns—there's an unexpected feeling that psychologists say is also common: loneliness.

And unlike traditional loneliness, loneliness in retirement can feel more overwhelming and be harder to fix. The good news is that harder does not mean impossible, and these psychologists say that there are a few things you can do to stop that loneliness in its tracks...and maybe prevent it from ever even starting in the first place.

Why Do People Feel So Lonely in Retirement

People often assume loneliness in retirement happens simply because retirees spend less time around other people. But according to Rachel Loftin, a psychologist with Prosper Health, retirement often involves the loss of much more than daily social interaction.

"Work provides structure, routine, purpose, belonging, and opportunities to contribute," she says, adding that it gives people places to be, goals to pursue, and a community where they feel known and valued. "When those things disappear all at once, people can feel disconnected, even if they still have family and friends in their lives."

Retirement can also coincide with other major life changes, which Loftin says can include:

• Children leaving home
• Health challenges
• Loss of friends and partners

"Together, these changes can make someone's social world feel much smaller."

How Does Retirement Loneliness Differ from Regular Loneliness

If you're thinking that some of those things can make you feel lonely at any age, Stephen Benning, Professor of Psychology at the University of Nevada, says that there are a few things that make it especially challenging during the retirement years, since it stems from a change in life status.

"Someone experiencing loneliness at another stage of life may just need more opportunities for connection," Loftin adds. "Retirees, however, are often adjusting to the loss of a role that basically organized their daily lives. They may miss not only their coworkers, but also feeling needed, competent, and productive."

How Can You Fix Retirement Loneliness

Loftin says that for some people, the primary issue is social isolation. "They simply have fewer opportunities to connect with others after leaving the workforce," she says. "In those cases, joining community groups, volunteering, taking classes, or reconnecting with friends and family can help rebuild social connections."

For others, the loneliness is less about being alone and more about losing a sense of purpose or contribution, according to Loftin, and she says that this can make people miss feeling needed, productive, or valued. "In those cases, meaningful activities such as mentoring, volunteering, advocacy, caregiving, creative pursuits, or part-time work may be more helpful than simply increasing social contact."

As for those who want to prevent retirement loneliness before it starts, Benning says that sometimes taking a phased approach to retirement can be beneficial, allowing you to adapt to that reduced connection before it disappears entirely. "Picking up new activities and groups can likewise help a person fill their time and make new social connections."

Of course, if you're feeling lonely, and none of the steps provided by these experts have helped at all, you may want to consider reaching out to a therapist for a more targeted approach. While it can be hard to adjust to this new part of your life, and all of the emotions that come along with it, there are trained professionals who can help you navigate these feelings so that you can enjoy this next chapter of your life—after all, you've worked so hard to get here.

Seniors benefit from convenient access to advanced care in areas such as cardiology, oncology, neurology, and orthopedics, reducing the need to travel to other major Florida metropolitan areas for treatment. Combined with the city's relatively affordable cost of living and growing retiree population, Jacksonville offers peace of mind for those who want quality healthcare resources close to home throughout retirement.

"Surreal" doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling of interviewing the son of one of your childhood pop idols. As a lifelong NKOTB fan who grew up studying every single issue of Teen Beat and Bop before later becoming a teen magazine editor myself, I have always taken the magic of fandom seriously. There is a beautiful, full-circle moment happening right now as a new generation takes part in this massive burst of '80s and '90s nostalgia.

So, when I sat down with Griffin to talk about his solo music career for The Teen Mag Time Machine, I knew I had to put him to the ultimate pop-culture test first.

I dug up a vintage, handwritten questionnaire from a July 1989 issue of Teen Beat where a 16-year-old Joe McIntyre shared his deepest secrets with adoring fans.

I read the categories to Griffin to see how well he really knows his superstar dad.

The result? A hilarious generational disconnect that left Griffin completely blown away by his dad's late-80s choices.

Here is exactly how Griffin fared when forced to step inside a 1989 time machine:

PETS: Griffin had absolutely no idea that his dad used to have a dog named Bowe!

FIRST RECORD BOUGHT: Griffin assumed it would be Frank Sinatra, but it turns out his dad actually began his record collection with Twisted Sister’s rock anthem, “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”

FAVORITE SPORT: Griffin guessed football, which is exactly what Joey wrote down. Some things never change!

FAVORITE BAND: Griffin confidently guessed his dad's iconic R&B peers: "New Edition!" When it was revealed that Joey had actually handwritten The Fat City Band, Griffin lost it, laughing, "What the f?"*

FAVORITE MUSIC: Once again, Griffin guessed "whatever style of music that Frank Sinatra made." But Joey actually wrote down "funk." "I don't know what he was on..." Griffin laughed.

FAVORITE MOVIE: Griffin guessed, "Some weird movie, probably?" But he nodded in instant agreement when told his dad’s answer was Midnight Run. "Oh, yeah. I need to watch that," he said.

FAVORITE ACTOR: Griffin nailed this one, knowing his dad’s favorite actor was—and still is—Robert DeNiro.

FAVORITE ACTRESS: This one initially stumped Griffin as he tried to recall which Hollywood starlets his dad admired back then. He was incredibly touched to find out that Joey actually wrote down “Judith McIntyre.” Joey’s sister (and Griffin’s aunt) appeared on Guiding Light and had roles in films like Far and Away.

FAVORITE TV SHOW: Griffin hit a wall when it came to television. He guessed Full House as Joey's favorite show, only to find out his dad wrote down Monday Night Football. "That's not a TV show!" Griffin protested.

FAVORITE VACATION SPOT: Griffin assumed his dad would enjoy the warmth and beaches of The Bahamas. But no, Joey answered his hometown of Boston. (One must assume that with his rigorous global tour schedule back then, just heading home felt like the ultimate vacation!)

FAVORITE COLORS: Griffin was correct in saying his dad’s favorite color was blue, though technically it’s a trio: Joey wrote down red, white, and blue.

FAVORITE CAR: Griffin assumed his dad's teenage dream car would be a classic Mercedes. Joey's actual answer was a total monument to late-80s luxury: A 3.25 BMW with a phone. Stunned by the era of the car phone, Griffin smiled, "I need to write this down."

FAVE TYPE OF CLOTHES: Griffin didn't know what his dad might have said, but he wasn’t at all surprised to learn the answer was simply, “comfortable.”

MUSICAL INSTRUMENT PLAYED: Griffin didn’t think his dad played any instruments back then, guessing, "Maybe piano?" As it turned out, Joey’s actual answer was close: “a little keyboard.”

PASTIMES/HOBBIES: Griffin guessed "golf," which may be true today, but in the ‘80s, his dad was all about “bowling.”

BIGGEST LIKE: Griffin immediately answered Boston’s beloved NBA team, The Celtics. But Joey’s real answer was much sweeter: “nice girls.” To which Griffin replied, "Oh my God!"

BIGGEST DISLIKE: It was a logical guess for Griffin to go with “mean girls.” But his dad had actually answered with something much deeper: “homelessness.”

IF YOU HAD ONE WISH, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Again, it made perfect sense for Griffin to think his dad’s ultimate wish was "For the Celtics to win or something?" But keeping in line with his previous answer, Joey wrote: “to end homelessness.”

PERFECT WAY TO SPEND A DATE: Griffin hilariously cringed at this category, saying, "I don't really want to know what he says!" But I made sure he knew it was a totally benign, PG answer: “movie, walk, and dinner. Alone!”

WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN A GIRL?: Griffin was sure it would be a "nice personality," but he liked his dad’s actual response: “independence, good looking and charm.”

MOST PRIZED POSSESSION: Griffin guessed his dad's "car," but he was happy to hear that Joey’s answer was actually “family.”

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY: Griffin thought his dad’s favorite memory would involve playing football. Instead, he was genuinely touched to learn that Joey’s favorite childhood memory was "taking a walk with my sister in the snow." "Oh, wow," Griffin said softly.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF? Without missing a beat, Griffin answered “funny.” He got a major kick out of his dad’s full response: "Funny. Somewhat of a wise guy, worried and chill." "Worried and chill. That's hilarious," Griffin laughed.

When I asked Griffin how he would describe himself today in comparison to his pop icon dad, he saw the family resemblance instantly. "Funny, sometimes a wise guy. Worried and... No, I'm not worried. I'm just a funny, wise guy, excited, and I think a lot."

While Griffin might not have inherited his dad's 1989 taste in car phones or funk bands, he has undeniably inherited the McIntyre charisma.

Wyatt is Now a Parent, Too

Wyatt, who shares two boys with his wife, Meredith Hagner, has bonded even more with his famous parents since becoming a father. Last year, he opened up about his own journey to parenthood.

“When you become a parent, you realize what your parents feel about you,” he told PEOPLE. “And so you realize that all they want you to be is happy. They want you to live a fulfilled life, and that’s all you care about for your kids. And so I’m imagining that’s all my parents care about.”

After welcoming their second baby, Boone, in 2024, Hagner took to Instagram to share a sweet post of herself and Russell with their newborn in the delivery room.

After welcoming their first son, Buddy Prine, in 2021, Russell told Entertainment Tonight that becoming a dad changed his entire way of life.

What is Lioness about?

Lioness is a fact-based drama series about two agents in a U.S. undercover female operative program. Zoe Saldana stars as Joe with Nicole Kidman as Kaitlyn Meade. Both actresses take on the added role of executive producer.

The show also added Yellowstone and 1883 alums. Dave Annable, who played John Dutton's eldest son Lee on Yellowstone, plays Joe's husband, Neil. LaMonica Garrett from 1883 plays CIA operative Tucker while frequent Sheridan-verse actor James Jordan took on the role of CIA operative Two Cups. Jordan's previous roles include TV series 1883, Yellowstone and Mayor of Kingstownand several of Sheridan's feature films.

Frequent-Hallmark Channel actress Jill Wagner also serves as executive producer and will star in the show.

If Jordan looks familiar, then you've probably seen him on several other Taylor Sheridan shows. On Yellowstone he played Livestock Agent Steve Hendon. He played prison guard Ed Simmons in Mayor of Kingstown and Cookie in 1883. He'll also appear in the upcoming Taylor Sheridan series, Landman. Previous credits include 24, Justified, Bloodline and True Blood.

Austin Hébert as Randy

Randy is a tech specialist in charge of surveillance and gathering intelligence within Joe's counter-terrorism team.

It’s time to get outside tonight and look up at the sky. The Northern Lights should be visible in several states. It’s all due to a G3 geomagnetic storm. These storms happen when there is a strong disturbance in the Earth’s magnetic field.

What are the Northern Lights?

When electrically charged particles from space enter the Earth’s atmosphere and collide with molecules and gases, particles in the atmosphere gain energy. To return to their normal state, they release energy as light. That’s how the northern lights are born.

All of this is what has prompted the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center to issue a G3 geomagnetic storm alert for tonight, June 5, 2026. This means people in several states have a pretty good chance of seeing this natural light show.

The northern lights usually appear faint at first. They may also look pale green. During strong geomagnetic storms, they burst out with shades of neon green, pink, or purple that shoot across the night sky.

Where Can I See the Northern Lights?

While everyone may want to try to catch a glimpse, the northern lights are not visible everywhere in the U.S. According to NOAA, these are the states where you can try to see them tonight:

• Illinois
• Indiana
• Maine
• Massachusetts
• Michigan
• Minnesota
• Montana
• Nebraska
• New Hampshire
• New York
• North Dakota
• Ohio
• Oregon
• Pennsylvania

• Washington
• Wisconsin
• Wyoming

According to NOAA, the peak times to catch a glimpse are between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. on June 5th. They say that people in Alaska, Idaho, Maine, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington have the best chance of seeing the northern lights.

How to See the Northern Lights

Seeing the northern lights isn’t a case of just going outside and looking up. You want to head somewhere dark with clear views of the northern skies. Don’t go anywhere with city lights. 

Once you find your viewing spot, give your eyes time to adjust. You might not be able to see the aurora right away. Tools like NOAA’s aurora dashboard and apps like Aurora Now can be helpful in pinpointing the lights as well.

If you want to photograph the northern lights, you can try to do it with your smartphone. 

Turn your phone to night mode so the shutter stays open longer. Keep it steady and don’t zoom in. If your phone has a “pro” or “manual” mode, this can also be helpful. Of course, you can also use a professional camera.

What Has Eve Hewson Said About Being Bono's Daughter?

Hewson, whose real name is Memphis Eve Sunny Day Iris Hewson, has certainly come into her own as an actress in recent years. In a 2024 New York Times piece, Hewson opened up about growing up in the shadow of her father’s unparalleled success. Constantly questioning whether people wanted to be her friend because of her dad’s fame, she took solace in acting and found tremendous comfort in pretending to be somebody else. These days, she’s earned acclaim for roles on Bad Sisters and The Perfect Couple, and said it’s a nice change from worrying that people want to be her friend because she has a swimming pool, as she feared as a kid.

“When people come up to me and say, ‘You’re the crazy wife from that show on Netflix,’ I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re actually recognizing me and my work,’” she explained. “They probably have no idea of the connection or don’t even care. It’s a nice feeling.”

What's Next for Eve Hewson?

Back in April, Deadline reported that Hewson is set to star opposite Channing Tatum in Isle of Man for Amazon MGM Studios. The film is about the Isle of Man TT, the world’s oldest continuously running motorsport event.  

"The TT represents the pinnacle of sporting endeavor and the relentless pursuit of glory," the piece notes.

App updates happen all the time, and they’re usually done to help improve functionality. However, a quiet update to the Disney+ app has removed a key function that users have had from the very beginning when it launched in 2019.

Users can no longer use the A-Z search function, making it harder for anyone to find the movies and shows that they love the most. Disney+ didn’t even announce that this was happening, with many users finding out from the end of May that everything had changed.

What’s not clear is whether this was a mistake. At the time of writing this, the functionality wasn’t available. It’s possible that it’s some bug as Disney+ and Hulu start to merge, but Disney hasn’t mentioned anything to clarify.

Disney+’s Search Makes It Harder to Find Content

The removal of the A-Z search function makes it much harder to find anything. When users search for a show or movie, the list will populate based on Disney+’s own metrics. Sure, if you type in the full name of something, anything related to that specific name should pop up first.

However, what if you don’t know the full name of a movie? What if you only have a vague idea based on something that people have suggested? If you knew the first word, you could search alphabetically and find it.

There is also the problem of going past the more well-known entities. Now, the only option is to search one by one, but before, it was possible to search through the catalogue, based on the title. This could help rediscover older shows and movies that have been forgotten about.

The Homepage Only Shows What’s Popular

As with all streaming platforms, the homepage is limited. It brings up the newest shows and movies to hit a platform, or it will show some of the highest-rated options based on your previous viewing history. If you have friends or relatives visiting and they watch on your username instead of a guest one, that quickly changes the suggested offerings.

It doesn’t help to find some of the less obscure pieces of content. It makes the A-Z function more and more important. This could be just a mistake, though, as the function did disappear and was re-added in 2022. If Disney+ is removing it, the idea needs to be reexamined.

One of Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band's "Greatest Hits" albums is climbing up the Billboard 200 over three decades after its initial release.

Seger's iconic 1994 compilation album surged on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, rising to the No. 134 spot in new chart standings for the week of June 6. It marks an impressive jump for the 32-year-old album, as it moved up 18 spots from last week's placement at No. 152.

The latest chart appearance extends the album's total weeks spent on the chart to 617, more than any other album in Seger's catalog. The Greatest Hits album previously peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 the same week of its release in November 1994.

As promised in the album's title, the track list features some of the biggest chart-toppers released between 1972 and 1994, like the 1976 hit "Night Moves" and 1978's "Old Time Rock and Roll."

The Greatest Hits album Seger's best-selling record, earning a Diamond certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), signifying 10 million units sold.

Seger and The Silver Bullet Band later released another compilation album, Greatest Hits 2, which came out in 2003 and featured more fan-favorite tracks like "Shakedown," which was featured in the hit film Beverly Hills Cop II. Seger's second Greatest Hits album has spent just 26 weeks on the Billboard 200, and reached its peak position at No. 23.

The erotic thriller Basic Instinct holds a special place in pop culture. Crime novelist Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone) is the prime suspect in a murder case, which Detective Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) investigates.

Stone, 68, revealed the Oscar-winning movie took a toll on her mental health. But it also taught her something important about herself.

Sharon Stone Says 'Basic Instinct' Was Traumatizing

The actress talked about one of her most iconic roles in Variety's Actors on Actors with Keke Palmer. Stone said playing Catherine pushed her mentally.

"This is what Basic Instinct did for me because I had to dig into every dark corner until I was--I literally was sleepwalking when I was making this movie," she said. "I woke up three times in my car fully dressed [because] it was so traumatizing to play such a heavy character, such a dark person."

Stone said she's actually a goofy person. She learned from the role that she's a "light" person and it set her free.

The actress previously revealed to Vanity Fair that she had nightmares while filming. She also freaked out during the stabbing scene because the actor playing the victim didn't respond after they cut.

"I thought that the retractable fake ice pick had failed to retract and that I had in fact killed him," she explained. The actor passed out because of the number of times she hit his chest.

The iconic role got a strong reaction from the public. That made her realize people were projecting their darkness onto her because of her character.

"I understand that," she said. Stone said she's used to people coming up to her and treating her as one of her characters rather than herself. But the role solidified that she wasn't full of darkness to herself.

Dancing with the Stars returns to ABC this fall for its 35th season and, happily, Bruno Tonioli, one of the two remaining OG judges along with Carrie Ann Inaba, shared that he will be returning for another season.

"The thing with me, I'm kind of the least planning person," Tonioli told TVLine in an interview shared on Thursday when asked if he's given any thought on how long he wants to continue judging the dance competition. "I love my job. I really, really enjoy it. That's really the reason. I enjoy the public. It is almost like doing a Broadway show. There is such instant feedback you get from the audience."

A big part of his enjoyment in the job is watching and critiquing the work done by the pro dancers, who each week choreograph a dance for their celebrity partner.

"The kids really excite me, I'm not making it up," he continued. "They deliver work of the highest standard and I'm always excited about watching what they're going to do."

And so, Tonioli reiterates that "until they [don 't] want me, I'll be there. Because I really love the show. I really do."

Tonioli also spoke to TVLine about this summer’s new spinoff show Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, which premieres on July 13 and will feature 12 young ballroom dancers who will compete for a permanent position in this fall’s DWTS pro cast. Season 34 champ Robert Irwin will host with pro Mark Ballas and his mom, Shirley Ballas, aka "the Queen of Latin," serving as permanent judges, along with as yet unnamed guest judges.

“I am not in the spinoff but friends of mine are,” Tonioli said. “I can’t give too much away but it’s very exciting to see potential new talent. “

As for how the new pro may fair next season on DWTS, Tonioli says, “Imagine a football team. We always push for the best. We always want the best. Judges always push them, ‘Give me more!’ So, they have to get in and prove themselves but it is friendly competition. Knock me out.”

Dancing With the Stars returns this fall on ABC, Disney+ and Hulu. Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro premieres on July 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. Streams next day on Hulu.

While fans are eager to get any glimpse ofDua Lipaand Callum Turner's three-day nuptial celebrations in Sicily, Italy, not everyone is excited. Multiple reports claim that residents have expressed anger towards the two celebrities for closing down the city.

The "Training Season" singer recently wed the Masters of the Air actor in an intimate court ceremony during the week before jetting off to Italy. Details of their wedding have been kept under wraps, with paparazzi photos confirming they are in Sicily leading up to saying "I Do."

Recent photos show Lipa and Turner arriving at their welcome dinner in the city, in what appears to be a closed-off square or outside dining experience. According to The Daily Mail, a heavy police presence was seen around Palermo, with a ring of steel going around a Sicilian square where the two celebrities will hold their wedding celebrations. The closed-off areas appear to be around the multiple town squares, like the Piazza Sant’Anna and Piazza Croce dei Vespri.

With local areas closed off for three days, residents have shown signs of protest. Posters in both Italian and English have been posted, reading, " Palermo is not for rent. Public spaces belong to everyone," "We reclaim the right to live them (sic), free from private profit," and "Our square is not your living room," "Palermo is not for the rich."

Other reports state that the wedding organizers removed the posters before the protesting residents wrote the same phrases on the walls in graffiti. Due to the star-studded wedding event, it's said that locals have even been asked to sign non-disclosure agreements.

It's also been reported that some businesses have been rented out and black screens leading to the Piazza Croce dei Vesperi have been put up to block off the area. Local business owners are also angered over having to close their shops early, with the weekend being one of their busiest and most profitable times of the week.

One business owner even commented to The Guardian that, "For example, for three days we’ve been forced to park miles away and walk to work. It’s not right to block the city – I could understand if it was for the pope, but not for a singer.”

Lipa and Turner began dating in 2024 after being spotted together on multiple occasions, and by 2025, rumors circulated of the two being engaged. The singer was spotted with an engagement ring, with her revealing the two connected over reading the same book.

There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.

Final Jeopardy today was in the category "MILITARY HISTORY."

The clue: "At the U.S. Naval Academy, a 19th c. memorial inscribed 'Commerce laments their fall' honors heroes of this conflict."

The answer: "What are the Barbary Wars?"

McFerrin entered with a pre-FJ score of $23,000, and his smart wager of $3,799 meant that even if he got it wrong, he’d still finish above the max possible score for second place, which was held by Gonclaves, with $9.600.

After a wrong response (“War of 1812”), he dropped down to $19,201, while Goncalves won the internet with a refreshingly honest response of “Literally, idk Ken,” wagering $600 and getting a final score of $9,000. McElroy wagered $47 an dropped to $4,353, without responding. 

Despite missing FJ, McFerrin ended the week with his fifth consecutive win

McFerrin will be back on Monday for his sixth attempt.

Jessie James Decker is not completely ruling out another reality show, but she has a very clear boundary.

The singer, entrepreneur, and former reality star said in a new interview with Page Six that she would be open to returning to television, but not in the same way she did with Eric & Jessie: Game On, the E! series she starred in with her husband, Eric Decker, from 2013 to 2017.

This time, Decker said she would want to protect what happens inside her home, especially now that her children are older.

"What I'm so proud of for our family is how we keep things so normal and safe for our kids," Decker told the outlet.

Decker and her husband share four children: daughter Vivianne, 12, and sons Eric Jr., also known as "Bubby," 10, Forrest, 8, and Denver, 2.

Decker said she enjoys sharing parts of her life online, including funny videos and social media moments with her husband, but she wants to remain in control of what the public sees.

"I give what I want to give on social [media]," she said. "I love being able to give little bits here and there of fun stuff that we're in charge of and in control of."

A full reality show about her home life would be different.

"My family's just too precious for me to open that up to that whole world again," Decker said. "And we did that before we really had our kids at this age and point in time."

She also said she wants her children to feel normal, adding that having cameras around them constantly could "throw them off."

It's worth noting this isn't the first time the Deckers have been in front of cameras together in recent memory. Both Jessie and Eric competed on Season 4 of Fox's Special Forces: World's Toughest Test last fall.

However, Eric was medically withdrawn after injuring his back on day six, and Jessie chose to withdraw alongside him. That kind of appearance, a competition show they opted into on their own terms, seems to be exactly the type of TV project she's open to.

The Kind of Show Jessie James Decker Would Do

While Decker may not want another show centered entirely on her marriage and kids, she is interested in a different kind of TV project.

The cookbook author said she would be open to filming a cooking, lifestyle or travel series with her sister, Sydney Rae Bass, and their mother, Karen Parker.

The three are collaborating on the upcoming cookbook Secret Sauce: A Family Cookbook Seasoned with Love. The book draws on their family's Sicilian and Cajun roots, with recipes passed down through generations alongside beauty and wellness tips.

"I would do a cooking show. I'd do a cooking/lifestyle show. I'd love to do something like that," Decker told Page Six.

She said the show could include small moments with her immediate family, such as dinner scenes, but the focus would be on food, travel, and her dynamic with her mom and sister.

Decker even described a possible version of the show as the three women traveling through Europe together, doing food and wine tastings and learning new things along the way.

"It's just silly and unhinged and crazy, and I just think we would have so much fun," she said.

Jessie James Decker Has Plenty Going On Off Camera

Decker is not exactly waiting around for a TV offer.

She recently launched her Just Feed Me cookware line at Walmart, continues to run her Kittenish clothing company and has a Casa del Sol capsule collection with Cupshe. Secret Sauce marks her third cookbook and her first co-written with family members.

She also told Page Six that she has been focused on fitness and feeling strong. "I've been on a new kick," Decker said. "I've always worked out, but I'm definitely on a super intense kick right now where I'm getting obsessed with it, and I'm just feeling really good. I'm feeling really strong. I can feel my energy getting better."

Decker also spoke about beauty and health in the interview, including her interest in downsizing her breast implants and her experience dealing with migraines.

She recently partnered with AbbVie on the company's Love in Mind initiative, which focuses on the emotional impact migraines can have on romantic relationships. Decker said she used to feel like she had to push through migraines, but now she advocates for herself.

Eric, with whom she will celebrate her 13th wedding anniversary later this month, has also played a major role in helping her navigate her health.

"Thank God for my husband," Decker said. "He has been such a help and such an encourager."

For now, Decker seems open to TV again, but only if it fits the life she has built now. A family-centered reality show may be off the table, but a cooking, lifestyle and travel series, especially one tied to an upcoming cookbook, could be a very different story.

While the late Anthony Head is best known for his roles in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Merlin and Ted Lasso, he was also a musical theatre star. In 2008, he appeared in a rock opera called Repo! The Genetic Opera as a repo man of human organs.

While the film never became mainstream, it's a cult classic still beloved by fans of gothic musical movies. As we remember the much-loved actor after his passing, we think back on this hidden gem.

In the film, Anthony plays Nathan Wallace, a deadly organ repossession for a dystopian medical company. But, he leads a double life, as he is also a fiercely protective father for a sheltered daughter. The film co-stars Paris Hilton, Paul Sorvino, and Alexa PenVega.

Why the film didn't set the box office alight, nor did it earn critical acclaim, it did become a cult classic. Fans loved the gothic aesthetic, campy shock value and anticapitalist sensibilities.

In an Instagram post from 2022, the director wrote how he always wanted Head to play the Repo Man, but the studio wanted someone more famous. A little-known fact is that Patrick Swayze was originally cast as Nathan before pulling out due to health concerns.

"I went online and bought a dozen DVD’s of Buffy The Vampire’s musical ONCE MORE WITH FEELING. I hand delivered all the DVD’s. A few hours later I got a call from our producer’s, everyone agreed!!!! ASH was our man!" he excited wrote, in a post honouring this musical," director Darren Bousman wrote on social media.

"We flew him in town and quickly got him into the studio… It was fucking magical. It was like hearing a rock ‘n’ roll angel sing!!! He made me weak in my knees. And with that - The final actor was placed. In the end, I was able to cast 100% of my number 1 choices in the film." he added in the post.

Today, Bousman paid tribute to the late actor, who passed away from pneumonia at 72. "I’ve been staring at this man’s face for the last few months as we celebrate the rerelease of Repo," he wrote on Instagram.

"It was an honor to witness his craft on the big screen last weekend. Watching how he was able to command the screen with such humor, horror and humanity as Nathan Wallace is a master class in acting."

"…but my favorite memories of working with Tony was not the acting or the singing, it was the infectious love he had for his family and his two daughters. He would sit behind video village and regale us with proud father moments non stop," he added.

If you've never seen Repo! The Genetic Opera, the soundtrack has recently been added to Spotify and the film is currently showing in select theatres after a 4K remastering.

Hannah Berner is having another big post-Bravo moment.

The former Summer Housestar's new comedy special, Hannah Berner: None of My Business, premieres today, June 5, on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

The special is Berner's second stand-up special and her first for Hulu. It was filmed at the Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto and is part of Hulu's Hularious stand-up comedy lineup. The title comes from her live touring show, where she first developed and honed the material before taping the special. She wrapped a 70-show stand-up run in April before filming.

Hulu describes the special as Berner's "most vulnerable material yet," in which the comedian questions her future, discusses her unconventional career path, shares dating stories, and jokes that she is "part-time hot."

Hannah Berner's Post-'Summer House' Career Keeps Growing View this post on Instagram

Berner first became known to Bravo viewers as a cast member of Summer House, but her career has since shifted heavily toward comedy since she left the show in 2021. In a recent interview with Variety, she described stand-up as a healing process after reality TV, saying she felt her voice was "shrunk" during her time on the show.

She shared with the outlet, "I'm so proud of the special — I can't wait for people to see it. It feels like you’ve been painting something for a long time — I don't know why I’m using paint as an example, but the masterpiece is finally dotted, and I'm ready to show it to the world."

Her first comedy special, Hannah Berner: We Ride at Dawn, premiered on Netflix in 2024. Now, None of My Business gives Berner another major streaming platform and places her inside Hulu's growing slate of stand-up specials.

The move also comes as Berner remains closely tied to the Bravo world through her friendship and creative partnership with Paige DeSorbo. The two co-host the Giggly Squad podcast, which has become one of the most recognizable parts of both women's careers outside of Summer House.

The podcast was named podcast of the year at the iHeartRadio Awards and has surpassed 130 million downloads, a milestone that also landed Berner and DeSorbo on The Hollywood Reporter's list of the most powerful people in New York media.

Berner also co-hosts a second podcast, Berner Phone, alongside her husband, comedian Des Bishop.

A Bigger Picture: Netflix, Amy Poehler, and The Devil Wears Prada 2

The Hulu special is far from the only major project in Berner's pipeline. Amy Poehler has signed on to produce a scripted Netflix comedy co-written by and starring both Berner and DeSorbo — a significant development that signals the pair's growing influence well beyond the podcast world. The two also recently made cameos in The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Hulu announced in January that Berner was joining its Hularious comedy banner. The special streams on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ are available in the U.S. and internationally on Disney+. It was directed by Jeff Tomsic and produced by Rotten Science, with Berner serving as an executive producer.

For Berner, the special is another sign that her career is no longer defined only by reality TV. Between stand-up, Giggly Squad, a book, a scripted Netflix project, and streaming specials on two major platforms, she has built a path that looks very different from the one many Summer House viewers first met her on.
