Iconic Nu Metal Band Ranked One of The 'Best Covers' With Take on No. 1 '80s Hit
Bands taking on covers of hit tracks isn't something new, and it is often taken as tributes to well-known classics. In the late '90s, nu metal fans never expected Limp Bizkit to release their take on a chart-topping hit from George Michael that ended up putting them in the spotlight.
Loudwire compiled a list of the best covers of hit '80s tracks that were done by popular metal bands in the '90s. One entry that captures attention is none other than Limp Bizkit's cover of "Faith" by Michael. By 1998, Limp Bizkit was still growing as an up-and-coming band and still hadn't reached the infamy they became known for in the nu metal genre.
As a result, the band began performing their version of "Faith" during live performances to garner some attention, and it worked. Alongside guitarist Wes Borland's bizarre costumes, Limp Bizkit began to receive a cult following. Recording the cover for their debut album wasn't well-received by producer Ross Robinson at the time. After hearing their unique take with guitar and drums, he was convinced.
"I love George Michael and decided to cover 'Faith' for fun. We like to do really aggressive versions of cheesy pop hits," said lead singer Fred Durst at the time to Billboard.

Their debut album gained some traction with their single "Counterfeit," but it wasn't until the music video for "Faith" started to attract attention that their career really took off. The cover peaked on the US Billboard Alternative Charts at No. 28 and went on to perform it live on Conan O'Brien. It's speculated that Michael also played a role when he was arrested in Beverley Hills in April 1998 for performing a "lewd act" in a gentleman's toilet.
Whether Michael loved the cover is up for debate; Durst claims the singer loves it, while Borland claims he "hated" the band for doing it.
Michael released "Faith" as the second single of his 1987 debut album of the same name. It was reported that he worked on the song at the suggestion of publisher Dick Leahy to write a rock and roll pastiche. It ended up becoming one of his biggest hits, reaching No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts and remaining there for four weeks. The song also landed at No. 2 on the UK Singles Charts for two weeks.
Téa Leoni Shares Her Love Letter to Mom in ‘What I Learned From Mom’ — Read an Excerpt (Exclusive)
The first and most important teacher in life for many people is mom. It’s something that many actors have agreed on, and as we get closer to Mother’s Day, they’ve come together to pen love letters to their moms. Past and present CEOs of Sesame Workshop, those behind Sesame Street, joined together to bring the new book, What I Learned From Mom, to put these love letters together.
You know Téa Leoni best as Elizabeth McCord on Madame Secretary or more recently as Sofia Caccimelo on Only Murders in the Building, and she’s certainly had an extensive career. Now she spends the time looking back on the reason for that in her love letter, “The Best Kind of Superhero,” in What I Learned From Mom, which we’re fortunate to share an exclusive excerpt from.
Courtesy of Sesame Workshop
One thing we all come to realize as we grow up is that our mothers are not the people we see when we’re children. As we age, we see the nuances in their personalities, and we get to know who they truly are. Leoni focuses on that at the start of her love letter in the most beautiful way:
“My mother is a basket of beautiful contradictions. She was a piano prodigy, and by age fourteen she was playing some of the best Chopin anywhere in Amarillo. She was a straight-A student. At the same time, she learned how to drive a car at thirteen and was secretly drag racing the next year. She will set a table that looks like the most magnificent thing in the world, but she’s also a great partyer and not afraid to “trash the table” and be the first one to do it. I’ve got pictures of her with her bare legs on top of that table, white wine in one hand and red in the other. I mean, my mother is surprising. You just can’t put her in a box and label her. If I’ve ever been surprising, it’s only because I learned it from her.
Mind you, Mom will never ask for or expect an accolade. She never wants to stand up and take credit for something or get an award. I swear it’s probably why she never plays the lottery because, God forbid, she’d be the winner and become the focus of something! And she never complains, ever. Even when she was going through some life stages that women go through, my mother never talked or complained about a hot flash. She has knees that are pretty much bone on bone at this point, and she walks at least ten miles a day. I’ve maybe heard her talk about an ailment twice, like when she broke both of her arms a few years ago and was in two enormous casts. She was up on Cape Cod with these big cast claws on her arms—we called her “Lucy the Lobster.” Yet, she was still walking ten miles a day with these huge things on, and she never complained.”
Courtesy of Téa Leoni
What did all that teach her? Leoni goes on to share:
“Sometimes I think other people teach their kids to respect the people who they respect. My mother makes it clear that you should have respect for everybody. She treats everybody like they are valuable. Worthy. And possibly better than she is. I don’t mean that she puts herself down, I mean that she looks at everybody as a “possible.” I realize that she gave me that gift.”
This is just a small snippet of the full letter. It’s a heartwarming and touching story of compassion, resilience, and strength, lessons that we can’t learn in school but from the people around us.
What I Learned From Mom is packed with love letters like this from many actors, celebrities, and personalities we look up to today, including Henry Louis Gates Jr., Chelsea Clinton, Steve Guttenberg, and Cindy Crawford. With 27 essays in total, there’s no shortage of lessons to take from, and all of us can learn from other moms out there.
Courtesy of Sesame Workshop
All of this was possible thanks to the past and present CEOs of Sesame Workshop, the non-profit behind Sesame Street. Jeffrey Dunn and Sherrie Westin wanted to make sure the first teachers in life could be celebrated this Mother’s Day, and with all proceeds going toward Sesame Workshop to support it’s non-profit efforts, there’s no doubt that this wins.
You can read the full essay and all 26 others in What I Learned From Mom from March 31, 2026. Fair warning, the majority of these essays are going to make you cry with happiness and warmth!

Jason Duggar Breaks Silence on Brother Joseph Duggar's Arrest for Child Molestation
Jason Duggar is speaking out for the first time since his brother Joseph Duggar was arrested.
On Wednesday, Mar. 18, Joseph was arrested and charged for Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, involving unlawful sexual activity with a minor. Two days later, Joseph and his wife Kendra were hit with additional child endangerment charges.
On Thursday, Mar. 26, Jason and his wife Maddie issued a statement via Instagram in response to the arrest.
"We, like many, have spent the week completely shocked, confused, and grieved to list a few emotions. We are disgusted to hear the news about my brother, however, this isn't about how it's impacted our lives," the statement began. "Our hearts are burdened because a child's life has been turned upside down due to evil actions of someone who should have never hurt the vulnerable. This is something unthinkable."
"We are angered by what was happened, and we pray God's righteous hand and the court system will serve justice in the situation as deserved," Jason continued. "Maddie and I have always had a special place in our hearts for the vulnerable around us, and we will continue to do so. To fathom that someone would abuse their authority to harass the innocent is vile."
"We ask that you pray for the victim who has been brave enough to share what has happened. We also ask that you pray for his family at this time, as his children must face the reality of losing a father that should have been a spiritual leader in their lives," the statement concluded. "We stand with innocent children. Always."

According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Facebook, investigators were contacted on Mar. 18 by a police detective in Tontitown, Arkansas—where the Duggar family lives—about a report of past sexual abuse.
During a forensic interview, the 14-year-old victim disclosed incidents involving Joseph during a family vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida, when she was 9.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim reported that Joseph “repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap, sit beside him on a couch, and cover them with a blanket.” Joseph then allegedly made inappropriate contact with the victim and rubbed his hands on her thighs.
The victim said that Joseph eventually apologized, and that the alleged misconduct stopped after the apology.
Investigators discovered the victim’s father confronted Joseph about these incidents on Mar. 17, 2026, with Joseph admitting his actions to the victim’s father and to Tontitown Detectives.
Joseph was arrested out of state and faces charges of Lewd and Lascivious Behavior, including Molestation of a victim under 12 and conduct by a person 18 or older.
During his first court appearance, Joseph did not enter a plea and waived his right to an extradition hearing, meaning he agreed to be transferred to Florida to face charges.
This is not the first arrest for the Duggar family, either. Duggar’s older brother, Josh Duggar, was convicted of possessing child sexual abuse material in 2021 and sentenced to over 12 years in prison.

New York Times Best-Selling Author Shares Exciting News About Beloved Book for 10th Anniversary
Jodi Picoult's Small Great Things, once called the "most important" novel of her career, turns 10 this year, and she shared some exciting news about how she plans to celebrate this anniversary.
"SMALL GREAT THINGS is hitting shelves again with a special 10th anniversary deluxe edition," Picoult posted online on March 26. This new anniversary version of her novel will feature "incredible sprayed edges, foil stamping, and a brand-new introduction from me!"
The video accompanying the announcement showcased these new features, including pink-and-orange-sprayed edges on the pages, a debossed stamp of the scales of justice on the front, and foil stamping on the book's spine. Though one cannot judge a book by its cover, this tome is absolutely gorgeous. Fans can pre-order their copy here.
"This was one of my all-time favorite books of yours! Can't wait for the pretty sprayed edge," commented one reader. "This was my first ever Jodi Picoult book, and it was AMAZING," added another. Another added that they "pre-ordered the minute it crossed my inbox!"
View this post on InstagramSmall Great Things tells the story of Ruth Jefferson, a Black labor/delivery nurse working in the newborn ward of a Connecticut hospital. A white supremacist couple demands that Ruth stay away from their newborn. So, when the baby stops breathing, and Ruth is the only person in the room, she gets charged with the child's death. What follows is a dissection of the everyday racism that Ruth and other Black people endure on a day-to-day basis, and how well-intentioned white people never challenge their own internalized prejudices.
Picoult published her first novel, Songs of the Humpback Whale, in 1992, kicking off what would become a critically and commercially successful career. She'd soon become synonymous with family drama, the popular fiction genre that explores the dynamics between the generations. She's also very prolific, and though Small Great Things was her twenty-fifth(!) book, the Washington Postcalled it "the most important novel [she] has ever written."
Small Great Things is "Frank, uncomfortably introspective and right on the day's headlines," wrote Washington Post'sEleanor Brown in 2016, and the novel "will challenge her readers."
Small Great Things was a hit with Picoult's readers, becoming a #1 New York Times Bestseller. Since then, she has written six more novels, including A Spark of Light, Wish You Were Here, and the forthcoming Hollow Bones (due out in September 2026).

Beloved '90s Actor, Who Became a Television Star, Turns 64
From sitcom dads to cult-favorite TV roles, he’s been a familiar face on television screens for decades.
Beloved TV actor Eric Allan Kramer turned 64 on Thursday, marking another milestone for a performer whose career has quietly shaped some of television’s most recognizable series. From his comedic work on The Hughleys to his later roles in Good Luck Charlie and Lodge 49, Kramer has remained a steady and familiar presence across multiple generations of TV viewers.
Kramer was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but moved to Canada because his dad was a player in the CFL. He was also an athlete, but found his love for acting when he was a teenager through his school's drama department. He went to college at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and graduated with a BFA in Acting, which led him to work across Canada as an actor, director and fight choreographer.
He made his TV debut in The Gunfighters in 1987, then starred in Quest for the Mighty Sword three years later. Kramer got his big break when he played Dave Rogers on the ABC sitcom The Hughleys, which aired from 1998 to 2002, then Bob Duncan in Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie from 2010 to 2014. He also appeared in many notable TV shows such as Seinfeld, Wizards of Waverly Place, That 70's Show, How I Met Your Motherand more.

The actor posted a couple of photos over the past 24 hours to celebrate his big day. On Thursday morning, Kramer posted a selfie of himself holding a shot of whiskey, writing, "Yes, that’s whisky… Yes, it’s early… But on my birthday I’d rather pull out a cork than blow out some candles… #birthday."
On Wednesday evening, Kramer shared a selfie with his bowling league, marking the end of their season.
View this post on InstagramThough Kramer started acting in the 1990s, he is best known for his role as Bob Duncan in Good Luck Charlie. The Disney Channel sitcom, which also starred Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry and Mia Talerico, follows the Duncans, a middle-class American family living in Denver, as they adjust to the births of their fourth child, Charlie (Talerico), and eventually, their fifth (Logan Moreau). Though the TV series ended 12 years ago, Kramer has expressed interest in a Good Luck Charlie reboot, telling The Quinn Show last year that he was "surprised" they "never ran with a spinoff with Mia."
"I always thought like Mia should be making the videos for Toby," Kramer said, referring to the video diaries Teddy Duncan (Mendler) made for Charlie in each episode. "Or that she's going through the tapes and they are helping her get through, you know, whatever issues she's having at school or wherever she's at, like she's finding advice from Bridgit in the tapes to help her deal."

After Good Luck Charlie ended, Kramer starred in AMC's Lodge 49, playing Scott Miller for two seasons before the show got cancelled due to low ratings. He continues to act on television, recently making appearances in Chicago Fire, Bookie and Really Loud House. He also creates videos on his YouTube channel, Home of the Kramer Grill and Bar, where he posts cooking tutorials.
Now he runs his own acting agency, offering personalized 1-on-1 coaching, workshops, self-tape auditions and scene study, focusing on character development and audition preparation.
1973 Career-Defining Classic Was a No. 1 Hit Song 53 Years Ago Today
Fifty-three years ago today, '70s country icon Lynn Anderson topped the Billboard charts with her career-defining hit, "Keep Me in Mind."
Released in 1973 as a single on her 17th studio album of the same name, "Keep Me in Mind" was a major success. The track debuted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and climbed to the No. 1 spot in only two months. The track held the top spot for the week of March 31, with the album itself peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard County Albums chart.
The chart success of "Keep Me in Mind" marked Anderson's fifth No. 1 hit, solidifying her undeniable chart dominance at the time. The 1973 album confirmed Anderson's ability to endure as an artist following her massive 1970 mainstream crossover hit, "(I Never Promised You a) Rose Garden."
Country Music Legend Lynn Anderson at the Nashville Music Garden dedication celebration at Hall of Fame Park on September 29, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee.Produced by Anderson's then-husband Glenn Sutton via Columbia Records, the track is recognizable for its definitive Countrypolitan sound. The production blends flowing string orchestration with powerful vocals, deviating from the softer folk-inspired vocals common early '70s country.
Co-written by Sutton and George Richey, "Keep Me in Mind" showcases themes of unconditional love. The track is written from the perspective of a woman encouraging her partner to think of her whenever he feels lonely or defeated. The song's supportive message makes it a persevering hit that continues to resonate with listeners.
Throughout her career, Anderson was widely praised for her work in the country genre. She earned a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, a Country Music Award for Female Vocalist of the Year and an Academy of Country Music Award for Top Female Vocalist. Along with her impressive accolades, she dominated the charts with 11 No. 1 hits, 18 Top-10 hits and over 50 Top-40 hits, defining her legacy as a county music powerhouse in the late 20th century.

1975 Classic Ranked ‘Greatest Movie Ever Made’
Its antagonist was a flop. The set was chaotic. And the tension between the main cast members became one of Hollywood's greatest feuds. Today, however, no one would suspect Jaws, the “greatest movie ever made,” according to Empire, almost sunk under pressure.
Setting out to answer the question, "What are the 100 best movies of all time?” the film magazine recently published its list of “The 100 Greatest Movies Ever Made,” ranking the films that “stand the test of time, connecting with us personally while speaking to the universal.”
View this post on InstagramIf you ask us, No. 71 Arrival — Denis Villeneuve's near-perfect adaptation of Ted Chiang's short story “Story of Your Life” — deserves the top spot. And Tim Burton’s 1988 bio-exorcist classic, Beetlejuice, definitely got the ultimate snub. Not only is it the perfect gateway film into the horror genre, which is having a golden age right now, but it also carries a strong feminist undercurrent and empowering agency that persists through its sequel. But we digress … let’s get back to Jaws.
Hollywood's Greatest FeudReleased in 1975, Steven Spielberg’s thriller about a great white terrorizing a New England resort town over the Fourth of July is no doubt a brilliant masterpiece, albeit with a backstory so messy the crew nicknamed the film “Flaws.”
From the big-fish contraption riddled with breakdowns and scenes being written the night before they were shot, to Spielberg initially laughing at John Williams’ now-iconic foreboding score and nearly quitting the film before it even started, getting Jaws into theaters was anything but smooth sailing. Turmoil spilled over into the cast, too.
Richard Dreyfuss, who plays Hooper, described Robert Shaw, the film's shark-obsessed fisherman Quint, as "an enormous personality" in the 2010 documentary Jaws: The Inside Story, BBC shares. "In private, he was the kindest, gentlest, funniest guy you ever met. Then we'd walk to the set, and on our way to the set he was possessed by some evil troll, who would then make me his victim."
"[Shaw] really thought Dreyfuss needed a slapping down, [that he was a] young punk with no stage experience," Roy Scheider, who plays main man Brody, shares via Looper. "It got ugly," Spielberg confirmed. "But it was also Quint and Hooper living out that relationship as Shaw and Dreyfuss."
Big Teeth, Bigger ProblemsAccording to Collider, there were a handful of issues that kept Jaws in a delay pattern, but the biggest problem was the actual star of the show: the shark. The prop team built three mechanical sharks, all named Bruce after Spielberg’s pal and lawyer, Bruce Ramer. And all three turned out to be duds.
“Salt water, fractures, an absorbent-proof skin that was absorbed, and corrosion led to the sharks consistently breaking down,” Collider writes. “It was happening on such a frequent basis that Spielberg realized he, somehow, had to make a shark film with no shark. So Spielberg, as did many other directors, looked to the acronym WWHD (What Would Hitchcock Do), and decided to change the approach from the horror of seeing the shark to, instead, the shark being the unseen, unknown sense of dread and horror.”
Inventing the BlockbusterWell, it worked. Jaws did for sharks and the ocean what Psycho did for bathtub showers in rundown motels. But more than creating phobias, the film changed the way Hollywood did business. When it was released in April 1975, the film became what Variety coined a “super-blockbuster.” History writes that it became the first film to break $100 million at the box office, forever changing the biz and “introducing a culture of big summer releases, wall-to-wall marketing, feverish merchandising and as many spin-offs as the market will bear.”
The film stars Richard Dreyfuss, Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Lorraine Gary. Spielberg directed with Carl Gottlieb and author Peter Benchley adapted the screenplay from Benchley's bestselling novel. The success of the original launched a franchise spanning four total films.
Jaws (1975) is available to rent or buy on Prime Video.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Applaud New 'Precedent' After YouTube, Meta Verdict
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are standing with families after Meta and YouTube were found liable for negligence by a jury in landmark social media cases.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex called the ruling a “reckoning” for the social media platforms, hoping the results will lead to positive change.

“For too long, families have paid the price for platforms built with total disregard for the children they reach,” Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, said in a statement to People on March 26. “We stand with every parent and young person who refused to be silenced. Today, the truth has been heard and precedent has been set.”
The former senior royals have delved into social media safety via their newly renamed foundation, Archewell Philanthropies. They expanded more on the ruling in a blog post on their website, writing, “The systems driving our social media platforms have been built to exploit, not protect, and accountability has finally arrived.”
“Today’s verdict in Los Angeles and yesterday’s ruling in New Mexico are landmark victories for families, advocates, and young people everywhere,” the post reads. “Justice has caught up to Big Tech.”
In a span of less than 24 hours, juries returned historic verdicts in a pair of high-profile lawsuits that accused big tech companies of putting children and teens at risk of addiction and mental health issues.
In California, a case was brought by a 20-year-old woman, known as K.G.M., who began using Instagram at the age of 9. Her case against the app, owned by Meta, and YouTube, owned by Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc., claimed the app was designed to be addictive and caused her to suffer from depression and body dysmorphia. On March 25, the jury found YouTube and Meta liable for designing their platforms to be addictive for children and teens, despite knowing it could harm their mental health. The companies were ordered to pay $6 million in damages.
On March 24, a jury in New Mexico also ordered Meta to pay $375 million after it said the company concealed what it knew about child sexual exploitation on its platforms, Instagram and Facebook, and misled users about child safety on its platforms. The case was first filed by New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez in 2023.
Meta and YouTube issued their own statements opposing the verdict. "We respectfully disagree with the verdict and are evaluating our legal options," a Meta spokesperson said, per NBC. "Teen mental health is profoundly complex and cannot be linked to a single app."
A Google spokesperson also challenged the verdict: "This case misunderstands YouTube, which is a responsibly built streaming platform, not a social media."
Harry and Meghan have spoken out about the bullying they have personally endured on social media and have dedicated their time and resources to helping others. Their foundation has worked closely with ParentsTogether, an organization protecting children from online harm.

The couple is trying to move social media in a safer and more positive direction as they raise their two young children, Archie and Lilibet. Meghan admitted she was “frightened” about her kids’ future use of social media.
"Social media is not going away," she said during the 2023 World Mental Health Day celebrations in New York City, per Yahoo. "I think by design, there was an entry point that was supposed to be positive in creating community, and something has devolved, and there's no way to hear that and not try to help these families have their stories be heard."
Legendary ’90s Rocker Purchases Minority Stake in NASCAR Team
Darius Rucker, the iconic country-rock artist of the 1990s and 2000s, has joined the NASCAR Legacy Motor Club as a co-owner. The news broke on Wednesday afternoon, with the official Legacy Motor Club Instagram account posting an image of Rucker on the track with the caption, "Welcome to the CLUB 🤝 @dariusrucker."
Rucker, a three-time Grammy winner, is a lifelong motorsports fan, making his involvement more exciting than surprising. The artist's new position will aid in future innovation and work to expand NASCAR's cultural footprint as the company evolves. Rucker's career and exceptional experience in the entertainment industry provide him with a unique perspective for this endeavor.
In an interview with Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show, Rucker revealed his new project and expressed his gratitude. "We can now announce that I am one of the investors of Legacy Motor Club… It's cool. You know how much I love motorsports. You know how much I've loved NASCAR for years, so this is pretty cool for me," Rucker said.

In a press release, Jimmie Johnson, the co-owner of Legacy Motor Club, expressed significant excitement about Rucker's involvement. He confirmed the decision was motivated by the goal to expand the entertainment landscape of what NASCAR provides.
“Darius is someone who understands the power of connection—with fans, with communities and through storytelling,” said Jimmie Johnson. “What he’s built in music, the authenticity he brings to everything he does aligns directly with who we are as a Club. We’re excited to welcome him into Legacy and to build something meaningful together.”
As an investor, Rucker will work as the bridge between motorsports, music and fan engagement. A solid balance among all three has the opportunity to revolutionize the race-day experience for a new generation of fans.

Ryan Coogler's 'X-Files' Reboot Casts Its Leading Man
Okay, X-Files fanatics, it's time to get very excited. The previously announced X-Files reboot from Ryan Coogler (Sinners) has made a very important casting announcement. Actor Himesh Patel is joining the cast in the second lead role aside actress Danielle Deadwyler. Ah yes, the new agent coupling is complete.
British actor Himesh Patel is set the join the cast on the currently unnamed reboot. Patel is probably best known for his role as Jack Malik in the musical film Yesterday (2019), but he also held a longtime role as Tamwar Masood in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. His must-see, powerhouse role, however, is in his Emmy-nominated role as Jeevan Chaudhary in the post-apocalyptic HBO miniseries Station Eleven (2021), which is based on the book of the same name by Emily St. John Mandel.
Among other television and film projects, Patel will also star The Odyssey, this summer's mega-epic from Christopher Nolan, which opens July 17, 2026.

Deadwyler, who will star as Patel's new partner in the unexplained, was also in Station Eleven coincidentally. She won an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her role as Miranda Carroll in the series. However, Deadwyler's incredible role as Mamie Till-Mobley in the film Till (2022), for which she received several nominations, really put her on the map.
The question begging to be answered now is: Will Patel and Deadwyler, who are playing brand new FBI agents in a paranormal investigative unit, have that same kind of Fox Mulder / Dana Scully chemistry that made fans love the original leads (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) so much?
With both the Oscar-winning Ryan Coogler writing and directing the new Hulu series, as well as original show creator Chris Carter on board, the odds are looking pretty good.
Ready to jump right back into some more unexplained phenomena? You'll have to be patient. To date, no timeline has been announced for the new reboot.
Drew Barrymore Just Listed Her Sprawling Home for $4.995M—Take a Look
It's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is, but there's something decidedly relatable about Drew Barrymore that makes her feel less like a Hollywood icon and more like someone you'd happily grab coffee with. Maybe it's because we've literally watched her grow up on screen—from her breakout role in E.T. to her rom-com queen era and now as the endlessly charming host of The Drew Barrymore Show.
There's an ease to her, like a warmth that feels refreshingly unfiltered. Clearly audiences can't get enough—her show just keeps getting renewed because we all kind of want her in our living rooms every day. So when she gives us a peek into her actual home? It feels like a bonus hang. That's why the video tour of her recently-listed property in New York's Westchester County is so fascinating.
Barrymore isn't the one taking us on the tour of the palatial home, though. It's actually her real estate agents who show off the gorgeous property that's steeped in history.
The actress purchased the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom estate just two years ago, in 2024. Back then, she paid $4.4M for the place, but after extensive renovations, she's listed it for $4.995M.
We're not sure what's more awe-inspiring, all of the nature and privacy as you head down that long, winding driveway to the home, or the jaw-dropping rooms encapsulated by glass windows. Those spaces almost feel like jewelry boxes in house form.
It isn't just about the square footage or the design details (though yes, it's absolutely stunning). It's about seeing how someone so famously down-to-earth creates a space that reflects both her star power and her cozy vibe.
What Did Drew Change About the House When She Moved In?Apparently quite a bit! According to the Wall Street Journal, once Barrymore got into the home, she realized there was a lot of work to do. In fact, she likely spent more time renovating it than she did actually enjoying it, including completely redoing the kitchen in an effort to open it up more.
Despite all of the work, hopefully there were still many sunny days spent in that gorgeous heated pool. In case you were wondering, yes, there's also a pool house as well as a guest cottage, both outfitted in the same inviting style as the main house.
This might be your sign to move to Westchester if you have roughly $5M to spend on a new home.
Line Up Now! Inside Trader Joe's Latest Viral Tote Collection Sellout
While the love people have for Trader Joe's mini pastel tote bags has been well-documented, the larger bags haven't seen quite the same amount of love. At least, they hadn't in the past, until the announcement was made that new large canvas tote bags -- bigger versions of the beloved "lovely lavender" mini canvas tote bag -- would be coming to stores in March.
Even better, for those who always seem to get there after they've already sold out, there will be a nationwide rollout.
Trader Joe's Mini Pastel Canvas Tote Bags.Trader Joe's
"We had a change in plans," Nakia Rohde, Trader Joe's public relations manager, told Parade about the unexpected decision. "The new large canvas tote with lavender handles will be available nationwide in Trader Joe’s stores starting March 23rd. This is a limited-time product, and availability will vary store by store. If customers have questions about any product’s availability, we have friendly Crew Members in every neighborhood store ready to help."
However, despite the lack of a frenzy for the large totes in the past, those on social media have been posting photos of crazy-long lines snaking around the block. On the Instagram page for Trader Joe's Obsessed (Shannon Fong), customers have also been helping each other by revealing which stores still have the coveted bags in stock.
"Does anyone know how was the redlands location?" one hopeful shopper asked. "They had plenty went yesterday," replied another.
"Long Beach has a lot - like I walked in at 4pm on Friday and they had a lot," commented another.
To make things more complicated, the number of bags that a person can buy seems to change by location. In the photo of the SE Salem, Oreg., location, a sign stated that large tote bags are limited to "4 per customer." Those in the comments section began listing stores with much lower limits, along with how long they had to wait in line.
"Vegas had limit 1 large bag," one fan informed others. Another replied, "When I drive by the line was around the complex!"
"I waited for 2 hours and got 2 big lavender," commented one happy shopper.
"Mission Valley in San Diego limit one large and Liberty Station limit two 'per household,'" reported another helpful patron. "Still had them at 830 am so no need to wait in line at 630 am. They said they are releasing 10 more boxes tomorrow and every day until sold out."
There's a large online market for Trader Joe's tote bags, so it seems likely that imposing such stringent limits on how many you can buy is an attempt to counter that. But, considering that the large lavender tote bags can already be found on resale sites like eBay at prices 4x higher than the original cost, it might already be too late for that.
Iconic '70s Singer, With Classic No. 1 Hit Song, Turns 78
Rock legend Steven Tyler is marking another year in a career packed with unforgettable hits. On Thursday, the rock icon turned 78.
Tyler, the legendary voice behind Aerosmith, rose to fame in the 1970s with a string of hard rock hits that helped define the era. Known for his electrifying stage presence and signature vocals, he quickly became one of the most iconic figures in rock music.
Despite the success, being in a band hasn't always been easy for Tyler. "Yes, I fight with [guitarist] Joe Perry, but when we get together in a room we write songs that have greased generations. 'Walk This Way,' 'Sweet Emotion,' 'Dream On,' 'Jaded'… there’s magic there," he told Louder.
While Aerosmith built its reputation on gritty, guitar-driven tracks, the band reached a new level of mainstream success decades later with "I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing." The power ballad, penned by songwriting legend Diane Warren, became the band's first and only No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, introducing their music to an even wider audience.
Released as part of the soundtrack for the blockbuster film Armageddon, the song showcased a softer, more emotional side of Tyler's voice. Its sweeping melody and heartfelt lyrics helped it become one of the most enduring love songs of the late '90s.
"With that kind of lyric, I mean, for a guy to sing that song — especially a badass like Steven Tyler — it becomes a whole other thing,” Warren told The Ringer. "It just makes it more compelling. That's what women never usually hear their boyfriends or husbands saying, right?"
Despite its release years after the band's early success, the track remains a defining moment in Tyler's career, bridging generations of fans and further solidifying his place in music history.
Beyond his work with Aerosmith, Tyler has also explored solo projects, television appearances, including a stint as a judge on American Idol, and collaborations, further expanding his influence in the entertainment world.
As Steven Tyler celebrates his birthday, his legacy as a '70s rock icon and the voice behind one of the most unforgettable No. 1 hits of all time continues to resonate.

Superman and Spider-Man Just Teamed Up for the First Time in 50 Years
The comic book industry reached a rare milestone on March 25, 2026. DC and Marvel set aside a decades-long rivalry to release Superman/Spider-Man #1, their first major crossover in years.
For many readers, the collaboration recalls an earlier era. Superman and Spider-Man first appeared together in 1976, in an oversized special that became a fixture for a generation of fans. That issue introduced the idea that heroes from separate universes could share a story without losing what made them distinct.
The new release builds on that basic 1976 idea. Written by Mark Waid, the story avoids the familiar 'hero versus hero' setup. Instead, Clark Kent and Peter Parker meet as reporters pursuing the same lead. The approach shifts the focus to character rather than conflict, emphasizing their shared instincts and sense of responsibility.
The book emphasizes optimism, intent on drawing from earlier comic eras without feeling dated. It treats both characters as working professionals first, superheroes second. The result is a story that feels grounded despite its scale.

Interest in the release quickly extended beyond comic shops. Readers circulated panels across social platforms, highlighting story points and even giving spoilers.
The collaboration also raises broader questions about the relationship between DC and Marvel. Crossovers between the two publishers have been rare, especially in recent decades as each has built its own film and media franchises. This project suggests at least some willingness to revisit shared storytelling, even if only in print.
For now, the focus remains on the comic itself. The story introduces a larger threat that requires both characters’ strengths, combining Superman’s power with Spider-Man’s technical skill. At the same time, it keeps attention on their everyday roles, which helps ground the narrative for readers who may not follow comics closely.
The release serves as a reminder of how enduring these characters are. They continue to adapt without losing their core appeal. For longtime readers, the crossover revisits a familiar idea. For newer audiences, it offers a straightforward entry point into two of the most recognizable figures in popular culture. (Special request to Marvel and DC: do a supervillain team-up next!)
