In a recorded phone conversation obtained by People, Duggar, 31, described the conditions of his life behind bars to wife Kendra Duggar as he awaits extradition to Florida.
"I've been spending a lot of time reading, uh, reading the Bible, they got me a Bible in here," Joseph whispered during the March 20 phone call. "I'm in solitary."
Joseph—who shares four children with his wife—claimed he's been forced to spend "23 hours of the day" in "an 8-by-10" cell.

Two days later, Joseph and Kendra, 27, were hit with four counts each of false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child in their hometown of Tontitown, Arkansas.
According to Washington County Sheriff's, the charges were not connected to Joseph's Florida case, but were discovered during the investigation into those allegations.
While Joseph was already behind bars, Kendra was booked into custody on March 20. She was released from the facility just hours before the recorded phone call with her husband.
Kendra is due in court on April 29.

Country Star Details Harrowing Moment After Surviving Midair Emergency: ‘We’re Going Down’
Cody Johnson is opening up about a terrifying moment he once experienced mid-flight. While appearing on an episode of the Dale BrisbyRodeo Time podcast, the Grammy-winning country star, 38, revealed the scary incident happened years ago while he was making his way from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Austin, Texas, where he was scheduled to perform the national anthem at a NASCAR event.
At the time, Johnson’s travel was arranged on the spur of the moment, with his team commissioning an expensive private jet to transport him across the country — something he didn’t normally do. What made the moment even more eerie was that the “Dirt Cheap” singer, with his wife, Brandi Johnson, and members of his crew, Noe and Jackson, in tow, was flying over the 1977 Lynyrd Skynyrd crash site when the plane suddenly began to drop with the alarms firing off.
“It was very ironic because we were going over the crash site where Lynyrd Skynyrd went down. The alarms go off, and the plane just starts plummeting,” Johnson recalled. “And you want confidence out of a lot of people, like your surgeons, you know, the guy pulling your bull rope. But I think your pilot [is another one]. When you can see true, unadulterated fear in a man’s eyes and he’s the one controlling the aircraft, [it ’s terrifying].”
The Moment Happened While They Were Playing CardsJohnson went on to say that, in that moment, he and his group were in the middle of a card game when items around them began to shake.
“I get up, and we’re kind of plummeting through the air. You can feel like the drinks are starting to kind of move around. We were actually playing cards, and I’ve never said this on a plane ever again. I said, ‘Well, this don’t suck,’ [and the alarms went off].”
Knowing something was off, Johnson says he got up to enter the cockpit to find out what was happening and was told to return to his seat.
The Pilot Told Cody Johnson to Prepare for the Worst“I ran up to the pilots, and I said, ‘What the heck is going on?’ and he was white as a sheep. He looked at me and said, ‘You need to sit down and make yourself ready,” Johnson remembered. “We’re going down.’ And I said, ‘Where are we putting it down?’ He said, ‘We’re not putting it down, we’re going down.”
“I turned around, and Noe and Jackson and Brandi are looking at me, like eyes wide open… I went and sat by Brandi, and we started looking through our phones and looking at pictures of our kids. [We were like], ‘Look at what we did,’” he said, emotionally.
To this day, Johnson says what his wife did next is what he believes changed their fate.
“She gathered us around that back table in the plane, and we held hands. She went to praying out loud, speaking over that plane, and at 10,000 feet, it leveled off,” he remembered. “It was scary. Panels were falling off the walls… This is the power of prayer right here. They did diagnostics on that plane; there was nothing wrong with the plane. I truly, to this day, believe she prayed that plane into the air.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Son Joseph Baena Pump Iron in the Gym: ‘You Have To Shock the Muscles!'
Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son, Joseph Baena, are hitting the gym together to pump some serious iron.
Schwarzenegger, 78, an actor, businessman, and former California governor, is known for roles in films like Terminator, True Lies, and Kindergarten Cop. But it was his start as a bodybuilder that kicked off his acting career, and the legendary Austrian is carrying on his legacy with his son.
“You have to shock the muscles!” Baena captioned the photos, clearly implying that the quote was something his father said to him as they lifted heavy barbells together in the gym.
Schwarzenegger shares Baena, 28, with former household staffer Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena. He also has four children, Patrick, Katherine, Christopher, and Christina, with his ex-wife Maria Shriver.
View this post on Instagram Do Schwarzenegger and Baena Regularly Work Out Together?Last year, Baena joined his father on the red carpet at the FUBAR premiere and opened up about hitting the gym together.
"He busts my balls if I'm not there at 7 a.m. He's there every day. I'm there every day, or I try to be there every day. But yeah, we train together. We love working out together. He's a great training partner," Baena told Entertainment Tonight.
When asked if he'd ever portray his famous father onscreen, Baena went on to say that "it would be a great honor. Again, he's a huge role model. He's my dad. I would love to do justice to any role that takes to be him."
View this post on Instagram What Does Joseph Baena Do For a Living? In addition to pursuing bodybuilding, Baena is a real estate agent. Back in January, Baena shared a post to Instagram that noted he had joined a luxury real estate brokerage.
"We’re excited to welcome Joseph Baena to Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California. Joseph embodies a fresh, modern perspective on Los Angeles luxury real estate. With a reputation for professionalism and a compelling presence, he combines strategic marketing and creative storytelling to enhance every property and deliver an exceptional client experience," the post read.
"Big moves in 2026!" Baena excitedly captioned the post, which showed him standing on the balcony of a stunning contemporary property.

1974 Timeless Classic Was a No. 1 Hit 52 years Ago Today
Fifty-two years ago today, 1970s country-folk legend John Denver topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his classic hit, "Sunshine on My Shoulders."
Despite its current acclaim, the track was not an instant success. Originally released in 1971 on his fourth studio album, Poems, Prayers & Promises, the song did not garner mainstream attention until 1973 when it was featured in the popular television movie, Sunshine.
Following the film's success, "Sunshine on My Shoulders" was re-released as a single and became a massive commercial sensation. The track took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Adult Contemporary charts after just nine weeks. The song's reign lasted one week on the Hot 100 and two weeks on the Adult Contemporary, a rare but significant achievement for the country genre.
American country singer-songwriter John Denver, Bracciano, Italy, 1986.Produced by Milt Okun via RCA Records, "Sunshine on My Shoulders" was recognizable for its lush string and woodwind arrangement. The song's acoustic charm and calming melody made for a widely appealing tune that continues to resonate with modern audiences through streaming platforms. On Spotify alone, the track has garnered over 81 million streams, attesting to its enduring relevance.
Co-written by Denver, Dick Kniss and Mike Taylor, the song highlights themes of nature's power over human emotions. While it was initially an attempt to write a melancholic song, Denver found the melody sounded joyful—a bittersweet testament to the song's message that even during one's darkest times, the sun shines through.
Throughout Denver's four-decade spanning career, he was widely praised for his influence on the country genre. Denver dominated country-folk in the 1970s, producing massive hits like "Take Me Home, Country Roads," "Rocky Mountain High" and "Thank God I'm a Country Boy."
His critical acclaim and undeniable popularity earned him a Grammy Award a Grammy Hall of Fame induction and a Country Music Association (CMA) Award. In 1996, Denver was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame for his lifelong legacy as a country music storyteller.

Miss Thailand Contestant’s Teeth Fall Out Mid-Speech in Viral Onstage Moment
Miss Grand Thailand pageant contestant Kamolwan Chanago overcame an awkward onstage moment when her teeth fell out during her speech.
Chanago, 18, was speaking on stage during the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 preliminaries when her veneers fell out on Wednesday, March 25. When her teeth dislodged, her words became briefly unintelligible before she smoothly turned her head away from the cameras, adjusting the piece in her mouth in a graceful recovery. She subsequently ambled across the stage with poise, appearing unshaken by the malfunction as she modeled her pink gown and then exited.
“She handled this better than most of us handle a bad hair day. Is this the most iconic pageant moment ever?” a spectator said, according to the Associated Press.
Another person applauded Chanago’s reaction to the gaffe, chiming in, “How embarrassing. I would die. It’s so impressive she carried on like nothing had happened.”
The moment went viral online, with social media users similarly praising Chanago for recovering from the awkwardness.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Miss Grand International addressed the ordeal in a statement to People.
“During her onstage introduction, Kamolwan Chanago experienced a minor and unexpected incident in which her veneer teeth became dislodged,” the statement read. “She handled the situation with professionalism and composure, and the event continued smoothly without disruption. We are proud of her confidence and stage presence throughout the competition.”
The pageant features 77 Thai women competing to become Miss Grand Thailand 2026, with the winner set to move on to the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant in India in October. The Miss Grand Thailand pageant will conclude on Saturday, March 28, in Bangkok.
LeAnn Rimes suffered a similar teeth mishap in June 2025 when her bridge fell out mid-performance.
“We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on,” the country singer, 43, told her fans in an Instagram video at the time. “And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.”
Rimes recounted how the previous night she was singing her hit “One Way Ticket” when she felt “something pop in [her] mouth.”
“If you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front,” she explained. “It fell out in the middle of my song last night.”
Although Rimes’ initial reaction was to “panic,” she ultimately asked the audience to “hold on” while she “ran to the side of the stage and put it back in, popped it back in and then just went on singing.”
“For the rest of the show, I was literally … pushing my teeth in every couple lines and singing, which, by the way, I never knew how many f’s and th’s and sh’s I have in my songs!” she noted, calling it “the most epic experience ever.”
“I don’t usually have firsts in my career. That was a first,” she quipped, adding that she hoped it would also be “a last.”
Rimes pointed out there “wasn’t a f--king thing” she could do about the situation other than to “walk off or hold my teeth in and sing,” so she “just ran with it.”
“In case anybody has an issue on stage ever and feels embarrassed by it, just watch this video again, and it’ll remind you that the show can go on even amid sheer utter embarrassment,” she concluded. “You just got to be real with people.”
2016 Hit Ranked Among Best ‘Movies of the Century’ Won Major Oscar Award
In 2016, the documentary O.J.: Made in America delivered a sweeping and deeply layered look at one of the most controversial figures in American history.
Directed by Ezra Edelman, the film went far beyond a traditional true crime narrative, exploring the life of Orenthal James "O. J." Simpson through the lenses of race, fame, class and politics. The result was a sprawling, nearly eight-hour documentary that examined not just Simpson'’'s rise and fall, but the broader cultural forces that shaped his story.
The film earned widespread critical acclaim and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, cementing its place as one of the most important nonfiction films of its time.
Rather than focusing solely on the infamous murder trial, O.J.: Made in America traced Simpson's journey from celebrated athlete and cultural icon to a figure at the center of a national reckoning. It follows the once-beloved football star and actor whose reputation was forever altered by his 1995 murder trial where he stood accused of killing his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman. Simpson was acquitted of the charges, but that was far from the end of his story.
Widely known as one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, Simpson's rise to fame is as captivating as the events surrounding the case. The film explores the lasting impact Simpson's story had on American society, weaving together sports, celebrity culture, and broader conversations about race and justice.
"There was no point I was trying to prove, beyond searching for greater clarity and understanding," Edelman told The Guardian. This was about the recollections of these people who lived through this history, and I very much did not want to manipulate that. Who am I, as this outside arbiter, to come in and say I'm going to write this story? No, I'm going to let you tell these stories."
However, there was one key figure who was missing from the film: it's subject, O.J. Simpson.
"I think it's a blessing not to talk to O.J.," Edelman told Nieman Storyboard. Because O.J., with everything you know about him—even having watched the film—you know that O.J. is compromised. He's not a reliable narrator. The entire story is predicated upon a guy who has been saying one thing, and may have done another thing. His whole thing is about image. How am I going to penetrate that veneer? I don't think I can."
Rolling Stone later included the film among the best movies of the century, highlighting its expansive storytelling and its ability to tie together sports, celebrity and social commentary into one cohesive, complex, and compelling narrative.
Nearly a decade after its release, O.J.: Made in America continues to resonate, standing as both a gripping documentary and a sobering examination of the American dream and the realities that often lie beneath it.
'It Was Huge and It Had Horns' One Women Shared How She Ended up Secretly Growing a 1-Pound Kidney Stone
I've always thought of human bodies a lot like complex machines. Once you get to the root of a problem, there are likely several others awaiting you. That was certainly the case for Chrissi Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska, who told TODAY.com that she got the surprise of her life when she went to the CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center for an emergency appendectomy.
The pain began for Chrissi in her "lower flank," and she knew she had to get to a hospital quickly. Doctors swiftly determined her appendix was about to burst, but when they did a CT scan to confirm their diagnosis, they saw something they very much weren't expecting. Doctors saw a 1-pound kidney stone with antlers just sitting there.
“I couldn't believe it. It was huge and it had horns, and it was like a monster,” Anderson told the outlet. “And they're like, that's what's growing inside your kidney. It was just massive.”
Related: The Best Carb for Aging and Gut Health, According to Dietitians
What Was Anderson's Diagnosis?Anderson had never had any kidney stones before and didn't have any noticeable symptoms typically associated with stones.
Dr. Euclid de Souza, her urologist, told TODAY.com that that was actually typical for the type of kidney stone Anderson had: a staghorn kidney stone.
“The problem with staghorns is they're very silent because they are big and they cannot move, whereas people complain about the small stones because they move,” de Souza explained. “The smaller the stone, usually more the pain, because they can move around, block the kidney, so the urine has nowhere to go. Whereas these stones have found a home for themselves in the kidney, and they don't move around, so urine drains around them.”
Anderson was pretty lucky her appendix flared up when it did. If that stone had gone undetected, it could have damaged her kidney, and she could have lost the organ altogether. While you can live without one kidney, it's ideal to hang on to both of them for a myriad of reasons.
Her doctor believes it had secretly grown for years, as most stones he removes are typically only five millimeters in size. Stones develop from frequent urinary tract infections. According to a Sultan Qaboos University study, around 50–60% of women will develop UTIs in their lifetimes, and recurrent ones are caused by reinfection by the same pathogen. There are several factors that can contribute to recurrent UTIs; it could simply be one's anatomy (i.e., a shorter urethra in females), frequent sexual activity, or even incomplete bladder emptying.
The “head of the deer” on Anderson’s stone measured about 3 inches across with another 3 inches for the “antlers,” according to de Souza. It was so large, in fact, it had to be removed in four parts.
“We had a stone crusher that we were able to use to break up where the big part was connected to the finger-like projections,” he says.

What Anderson Can Expect Going ForwardNow Anderson is recovering well and says the uncomfortable pressure she felt in her back and legs, which she previously attributed to fibromyalgia, is gone.
Of course, Anderson, and really anyone whose had kidney stones, is at risk of forming stones again.
Some preventative measures women can take to avoid UTIs are:
- The 30-Minute Rule: Urinate as soon as possible (ideally within 30 minutes) after sexual activity.
- Hydrate: Drinking plenty of water is the top defense to help you urinate frequently.
- Don't "Hover" or "Hold": When you have to go, go. Holding in urine allows bacteria to multiply. Also, try to sit fully on the toilet seat rather than hovering; relaxing the pelvic floor muscles ensures the bladder empties completely.
- Skip Products: You actually don't need douches and sprays; your vagina is naturally self-cleaning.

However, when she goes out one night, she finds herself in a world she never expected. An up-and-coming fashion designer, La Garza, has observed Alicia’s life from across the street, and he sees an allure and fearlessness to Alicia that she can’t see herself.
However, it’s the start of a changing atmosphere around the world. With a potentially life-changing presidential election and what is believed to be a once-in-a-generation fiscal crisis, Alicia and everyone around her will need to make compromises if they want to survive.

‘The Mountains We Call Home: The Book Women’s Legacy’ by Kim Michele RichardsonWhile The Mountains We Call Home: The Book Women’s Legacy by Kim Michele Richardson is the third in The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek series, it is designed to be a standalone book. The series is more of a collection of stories that can be read in any order you want, so feel free to start with this one.
In this story, we pick back up with Cussy Lovett, who finds herself incarcerated, all because of the man she loves. She and Jackson break the law by marrying, purely due to the color of their skin, and we follow Cussy’s time in prison. It’s a scary setting, and one that will make a lot of people uncomfortable reading, but it’s an important one.
Richardson does her research when it comes to the realities of the past. While there’s a harrowing story of racism, there’s also the story of resilience and defiance, bringing an uplifting feeling by the end.
The Mountains We Call Home will be released on April 21, 2026.

The model and dietician, who has hit the cover of endless magazines over the years, loves to make it clear that age is just a number. Sporting chic white hair, black leather pants, and oversized boots with jewel-encrusted buckles, the beauty hit the red carpet at a screening of "Fantasy Life" in New York at the famed Angelika Film Center this week. Was Maye Musk on the Cover of Sports Illustrated?Yes! Back in 2022, Musk hit the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition. Wearing an orange and tan one-piece bathing suit from Maygel Coronel, the model glowed in the special issue. She was joined byKim Kardashian, Ciara, and Yumi Nu to round out the 2022 issue.
"My first reaction was, I could never dream up something like that because why would anyone have a 74-year-old on their cover, especially in a swimsuit," Musk told PEOPLE of her covergirl moment on the iconic magazine. "I do think it's going to make women feel more comfortable in their seventies when they swim, as well as women in their twenties and thirties."
View this post on Instagram What Has Maye Musk Said About Aging? In her 2019 memoir, A Woman Makes a Plan: Advice for a Lifetime of Adventure, Beauty, and Success, Musk opened up about how women shouldn't have to tolerate the negativity around aging.
"I went through different stages of my life where I was rejected, insulted, disappointed, and it just takes away your confidence," Musk told PEOPLE. "Then you just have to get over it. So here, I'm 74, I'm the happiest I've ever been, and I don't care, and nobody's insulting me because — you don't want to insult a grandmother. The point is, people are really good to me at this stage, but why should it take so long?"

Here’s Why Lo Bosworth Wasn’t at the ‘Laguna Beach’ Press Day, and Moms Get It
The Laguna Beach reunion is less than a month away! And that means the whole gang is making the media rounds. But when LC, KristinCavallari,Stephen Coletti, and the rest of the crew got together for press day, one cast member was an obvious no-show.
Which ‘Laguna Beach’ cast member was not at the reunion press day?Lo Bosworth (Natale) and her husband, Dom Natale, recently welcomed their first child. Baby Nelle made her grand debut in January of 2026, turning Lo from a reality star to a mom.
While the Love Wellness entrepreneur made her mark on the show as LC’s (Lauren Conrad) BFF, and later starred on The Hills, Bosworth was noticeably absent from the revolving rounds of reunion interviews. So, where was Lo? In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bosworth gives an explanation—and any mom who has had pregnancy or childbirth complications totally understands. Scratch that, any mom understands.
What happened after Lo Bosworth's pregnancy?Earlier this March, Bosworth got real about her post-pregnancy complications. The former reality TV star wrote on her Substack, “My body is not cooperating. I’m dealing with some complications that may require surgery, and it’s a lot to hold emotionally while also wanting to be completely present for this little person who has already rearranged my entire heart.”
Lo later revealed, in an Instagram clip, “No, I didn’t go to the Laguna Beach press day. Not because I didn’t want to be there. I just had a baby, and I have to get some placenta removed next week. Surgically. That was accidentally left behind.”
View this post on InstagramFans took to Instagram to show support for the new mama. One wrote, “No explanation needed…us real fans know…feel better and keep enjoying your mommy life,” while others offered words of encouragement, “Lo, you will get through this, and it will get better! Hope you feel better soon!” and, “I hope surgery goes well for you! I had the same thing, caused me so many issues. Big hugs to you! Your baby is beautiful!”
It’s clear that the parenting community is rallying around this celeb mommy. As another commentator points out, “Most of your fans, we are now moms. Take your time mom…and we hope to see you back soon…Wish you an easy recovery.”
This isn’t Lo’s first post about her surgery. Just a few days ago, the new mommy shared, “Getting my surgery plan this week to finally get out my retained placenta…I physically feel so tired, my PP recovery has def stalled/is at a standstill bc I’m basically having a constant inflammatory response to this tissue.” She also asked (in the post’s caption), “Can someone who has been thru this pls tell me this gonna be ok.”
View this post on InstagramLike her fans, we’re also wishing Bosworth a speedy recovery and can’t wait to see her back on Laguna Beach, again.
10 Years Ago, This Highly Anticipated Book Sequel Changed Everything for Readers
Just a year after the success of A Court of Thorns and Roses, Sarah J. Maas returned with a sequel. It was one of the most highly anticipated books of the year, but what nobody knew was how it would change everything. Yes, we’ve almost reached the 10-year anniversary of the release of A Court of Mist and Fury.
A Court of Thorns and Roses made us believe that we were rooting for the love story between Feyre and Tamlin. Then the sequel introduced another character, one who would become the book boyfriend everyone on BookTok would want.
An Introduction of a Character Not ExpectedMaas has recently shared that the character of Rhysand wasn’t originally going to be a major part of the story, except as a bit of a villain. He wasn’t there to work as a potential romantic partner for Feyre, and he is the reason this second novel changed everything for the readers.
No longer was it a story of Fyre and Tamlin, and how they would end up together. It became somewhat of a love triangle, with the two men seemingly switching their roles.
The novel remains a talking point for many fans of the entire ACOTAR series, with the Starfall scene standing out the most. In fact, it remains a popular talking point for Maas 10 years on, with her recently talking about how that Starfall scene came about in the first place. There’s no doubt that not only did this book change everything for readers, but it also changed everything for Maas.
A Winner in Its GenreA Court of Mist and Fury would, unsurprisingly, go on to win the Goodreads Readers' Favorite Young Adult Fantasy & Science Fiction category for the year. It’s also rare for a sequel, but it now holds a higher star rating on Goodreads than the first book in the series. It just proves that not all authors are hit with the sophomore slump.
In fact, 72% of the reviews for this sequel are five-star reviews. A Court of Thorns and Roses only scored 43% of readers giving it a five-star rating. In fact, there are comments from readers that share the sequel works as a great jumping off point for the overall story, making it possible to skip ACOTAR completely.
Now we await the sixth and seventh ACOTAR books that are to come in October 2026 and January 2027.
