Jasmine Pineda is setting the record straight following her divorce from Gino Palazzolo.

Less than a day after news broke that the 90 Day Fiancé stars had officially finalized their divorce on Friday, June 26, Pineda released a lengthy public statement, per TMZ, addressing both the legal outcome and the criticism she's faced throughout their relationship.

Her representatives said she endured "intense public scrutiny and repeated accusations regarding her motives, her immigration status, and her character" during her marriage to Palazzolo.

According to Pineda's statement, she (not Palazzolo) will be paying spousal support following the divorce. She claims she owes Gino "$500 per month until a total of $20,000 in spousal support has been paid."

The statement argues that the settlement directly contradicts long-running claims that she married Palazzolo for financial gain. "After years of public claims that Jasmine was pursuing Gino for money, the legal resolution concluded with Jasmine providing financial support to Gino as part of the settlement. Jasmine believes that fact provides important context that had not previously been part of the public conversation."

Her attorney also revealed a cease-and-desist letter has been issued over statements they believe are false and defamatory, adding they are prepared to pursue additional legal action if necessary.

The divorce comes after years of ups and downs that played out on 90 Day Fiancé. During 90 Day: The Last Resort in late 2024, Pineda told Palazzolo she wanted to open their marriage and introduce a third person into the relationship after revealing the couple hadn't been intimate in more than eight months. At the time, Pineda admitted, "We are pretty close to getting divorced."

The split became even more complicated when she welcomed daughter Matilda with Matt Branistareanu in April 2025 while she was still legally married to Palazzolo. Pineda then made an emotional confession during The Last Resort tell-all. "I wish this baby was [Gino's]," she said. "It’s so cruel to say this, so low, but that’s how I feel. I wanted to live this with you, not with anyone else."

Since then, Pineda has continued building a life with Branistareanu. The couple recently shared a glimpse of their new home together earlier this year, celebrating by preserving daughter Matilda's tiny handprints and their dog Coco's paw prints in freshly poured concrete. 

While Branistareanu previously admitted their relationship has faced challenges, the pair have seemingly stayed together.

"Rush Rush" was the lead single from Abdul's second album, Spellbound, and her first ballad released as a single after a string of uptempo singles off her debut. Written by Peter Lord and produced by Lord with V. Jeffrey Smith, both of the band The Family Stand, the song marked a softer turn for the dance-pop star. At the time it was the longest run at No. 1 since Madonna's "Like a Virgin."

The clip, directed by Stefan Würnitzer and produced by Lucasfilm, reimagined the 1955 James Dean dramaRebel Without a Cause almost shot for shot. Reeves stepped into James Dean's role opposite Abdul in the Natalie Wood part, racing toward a cliff and brooding at the Griffith Observatory. The production was so lavish that rumors swirled George Lucas himself had directed it. He had not.

Reeves went on to Speed, The Matrix and John Wick. Abdul reinvented herself as a beloved TV judge and remains a pop culture fixture, even after a 2024 health issue forced her to cancel a tour. Thirty-five years on, "Rush Rush" still sounds like the moment two soon-to-be icons crossed paths.

Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows Patsy Cline’s name. And according to Far Out magazine, that is anywhere the humble jukebox lives. 

The outlet recently shared that Cline’s 1961 timeless anthem, “Crazy,” was named the most played song on the American jukebox.

Using data from the Amusement and Music Operators Association, the publication wrote, “You might imagine it would be some kind of rock and roll standard, such as Elvis Presley’s ‘Hound Dog’ or something similar. Though while this does come close to the top, it’s actually a far more morose and suave number that takes the pole position, as you picture all the romantic couples cosying up to Patsy Cline’s ‘Crazy’.”

A national treasure, the humble jukebox is a sonic time capsule that serves as the easiest way to travel back in time, spinning classics like Cline's essential, Faron Young’s apropos “I Heard the Juke BoxPlaying,” Ferlin Husky’s “Wings of a Dove,” and, of course, the rock standard “Hound Dog.”

For years it was the latter classic that owned the top spot on the coin-operated music box. That is, until Cline’s country standard managed to dislodge it in the late '90s. The milestone was revealed in the association’s updated ranking of top jukebox singles. 

The ultimate torch song, “Crazy” tells a story of unrequited love, with Cline’s restrained vocal delivery and the track’s sophisticated orchestration perfectly capturing the emotional heartbreak and mental aftermath of a fading relationship. It blends pop, jazz, and country elements, making for one of the greatest genre-defying anthems ever recorded.

These days, the song is so universal, it’s “crazy” to imagine a world without it. But in fact, Cline’s signature ballad was almost never recorded. Written by a future country legend, Willie Nelson, Cline reportedly hated the song and struggled with its offbeat phrasing, while Nelson hated the way he sounded singing it. 

“I sure as hell didn’t sound like an angel,” Nelson said, via AARP. “I sounded more like a man desperate to have someone else sing the song. Anyway, I played it for Charlie, who liked it so well he drove me over to his house at 1 a.m., woke up poor Patsy, and made her listen to it.”

He added, “It almost didn’t happen because Patsy, who recorded it in a Nashville studio, tried singing like me. Big mistake. No one should ever try to follow my style of phrasing. Not that I don’t like my style. I do. I believe it’s natural, at least for me. But it’s offbeat. I tend to kick way back behind the beat or hurry up ahead of the beat. As my good buddy Waylon Jennings once said, ‘Willie wouldn’t know where the beat is if it bit him in the butt.’”

Once Cline adopted her own tone and phrasing, magic happened. “Crazy” became a historic career achievement for both artists. On Billboard’s charts, the song peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100 and No. 2 on the Hot Country Singles survey.

Despite the stall-out, the song became Cline’s signature hit and one of her most successful singles, following “I Fall to Pieces” (1961) and “Walking After Midnight” (1957).

A cross-generational anthem, “Crazy” captures universal themes, bridging the gap between traditional country and mainstream pop. It’s instantly recognizable to every generation, with numerous covers keeping it relevant. From rock legends including Neil Young to modern country stars like Wynonna Judd, the song continues to find new voices and new audiences.

Based on recent Aftersun info from Peacock, Ciara and Tefi will get the buzz on the Casa Amor Islanders who were dumped during last night’s recoupling (Amora, Carl, Chay, Corey, Ronnie, and Sydney). As if dishing on the dirt wasn’t enough for thirsty viewers, fans will also get a glimpse at some “unseen footage.”

Sadly, there’s no info on what we’ll get to see tonight. And while the powers that be behind Love Island USA aren't giving any hints, fans have thoughts.

While Love Island has more than just a few viewers (according to Peacock’s stats, Season 8’s premiere was the network’s most-watched TV debut), they don’t all tune in for the aftershow. But now that ambiguously exciting, unseen footage will hit the air, it’s likely that there will be some new Aftersun enthusiasts. 

In a recent Reddit post, one viewer commented, “Now I’m definitely watching,” while others added, “Skipping straight to the unseen footage,” and, “Peacock, why are you making me watch Aftersun for the first time this year?” Then there was this reaction in a recent TikTok, “If you have never tuned in to Aftersun, I’m telling you now, tonight is the night you’re definitely gonna want to watch.”

As for what we’ll see, viewers have some ideas. One Redditor mused, “They do not say if it’s the KC firepit scene in its entirety, which is what the viewers want to see.” And yes, they certainly do! 

Over on TikTok, pop culture commentator Nuha (devotedly.yours) said,  “This could be anything. Maybe even dumb things that we don’t care about. But apparently, that’s not the case. Because Love Island is making it very clear that we are getting exactly what we asked for. Look at what they did not air on the show.”

Without additional information from the network, we’ll all just have to wait and see. Aftersun airs at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Episode 21 marked the end of Casa Amor for Season 8. KC Chandler spent those days away mostly with Tierra. He claimed that their connection built faster in comparison to his relationship with Aniya Harvey. Meanwhile, Aniya got to know Carl Lee Schmidt at the villa.

Aniya chose to recouple with KC, and he brought Tierra back to the villa. "I feel so f--king stupid, honestly," Aniya told Ariana Madix in tears. She told the other ladies in the villa that they were right about KC.

"That's a sad reaction, I would say," KC told the host. "It's not something that not easy to hear." He later said he made the decision for himself instead of Aniya.

Tierra's entrance also included her arguing with Trinity Tatum. The model told Trinity that KC was on the show for himself. Trinity told her that she wasn't talking to her.

"First of all, I can speak if I want to speak," Tierra said. "Ya'll don't control me. I don't care if you don't know me or not." She then called Trinity a "little girl." Trinity is 22 and Tierra is 25.

The episode will affect future fan votes. But this week America is voting to keep a Casa Girl, Amora Robinson or Sydney Eugene. They can vote to keep one Casa Boy Carl, Chay Nehra, Corey Sawyer Jr., or Ronnie Gunter. The results will be revealed on Sunday, June 28.

It's been three decades since Independence Day was released on July 2, 1996, and fans are still divided over the iconic 4th of July film today.

The sci-fi blockbuster was directed by Roland Emmerich and followed a group of unlikely heroes banding together to save humanity after a massive alien invasion threatened to wipe out our planet.

With an all-star cast featuring Will Smith as Marine pilot Capt. Steven Hiller,Jeff Goldblum as satellite expert David Levinson, Bill Pullman as President Thomas J. Whitmore, alongside Judd Hirsch, Margaret Colin, Vivica A. Fox, Mary McDonnell, Randy Quaid, Robert Loggia, James Rebhorn, and Brent Spiner, the film was highly anticipated at the time and remains a favorite to watch over the 4th of July holiday to this day.

Independence Day became the highest-grossing film of 1996, earning more than $817 million worldwide and cementing its place as one of the biggest movies of the decade. It received generally positive reviews at the time for its groundbreaking visual effects and intense action, and even won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects that year.

However, reviews today are much more mixed. The movie has a critic-rated Rotten Tomates score of only 68%, while fans give it a Popcornmeter rating of 75%. While some viewers describe it as "a classic" with "a great plot," others criticize it as "too long" and "juvenile," with a "weak script." As one viewer put it: "If you like non-sensical, absolutely ludicrous comic book scripts, terrible acting, with lots of explosions, this idiot savant of a movie will be perfect for you."

In the same breath as one fan calls it "my favorite alien movie EVER," another calls it "Possibly the worst sci-fi film ever made." The controversy is likely in the gap between those who value nostalgia and fun, and those who seek complex storytelling and believable acting.

Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)" hit No. 1 that day, her fourth consecutive chart-topper, and it held the spot for two weeks. Thirty-nine years later it is still one of pop's most joyful singles.

The track came from George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, the songwriting duo behind the band Boy Meets Girl, and producer Narada Michael Walden built it into a brass-bright burst of pure want. It became the best-selling single by a female artist of the entire decade and has since landed near the top of nearly every greatest-pop-songs list ever assembled. The title later lent itself to a 2022 biopic of the singer's life.

The single shared its big day with the album that carried it. Whitney had just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and the record went on to sell more than 20 million copies worldwide. At the 1988 Grammys, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" won Houston the award for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female, while Walden was named Producer of the Year.

This year the date lands a little heavier. Clive Davis, the Arista Records founder who discovered Houston and steered her to superstardom, died June 22 at 94. The anniversary of her brightest pop moment arrives just days after the music world said goodbye to the man who signed her.

For fans, hitting play on "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" this weekend feels like exactly the right tribute.

When Olivia Rodrigo was asked what her dream wedding song was, the 23-year-old singer had her answer prepared.

"It's going to be 'I Melt with You' by Modern English," Rodrigo told the BBC, before humming the intro.

"Imagine kissing and then walking back down the aisle to that? I love that song," she added.

The 1982 song became Modern English's most successful single, after it was featured in the film Valley Girl and was regularly played on MTV back in the day. It reached number seven on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart in 1983 and, upon a re-release in 1990, reached number 76 on its Hot 100 chart.

The 'Drivers Licence' singer also revealed during the interview, published on Wednesday, June 10, that she hopes to be proposed to one day in New York City's Central Park.

"I'd love it if someone paid for a placard on one of the benches that said, 'Will you marry me?' " Rodrigo said with a laugh. "Then you'd sit down and you're like, 'Oh, my God!' "

She added, "So spread the word... Hopefully my future husband will see this."

Rodrigo previously dated English actor Louis Partridge, but has since split. Luckily, the split hasn't stopped the 'Vampire' singer from dreaming about her big day.

Rodrigo and Patridge kept their romance private. They sparked engagement rumours after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring in Los Angeles in August 2025.

As per The Daily Mail, the popstar appeared to be wearing an emerald-cut ring, as the pair took a leisurely stroll after a lunch date. Neither ever confirmed the rumors. She did write in her 2024 song 'So American that' "Oh God, I'm gonna marry him."

Rodrigo and Patridge reportedly split in December 2025. In April, according to People, the singer sparked dating rumours with Geese frontman Cameron Winter, 24, after going on a dinner date with him in Los Angeles.

The singer recently told the BBC that her new album is about "a love story that falls apart. A time capsule of a relationship in a few years of my life."

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a public health alert for raw boneless chicken breast sold at Kroger and Fred Meyer grocery stores.

The product labeled, "Private Selection Honey Dijon Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts with Rib Meat” was produced on June 2 with a best by date of June 28. It included a lot code that read “15326A” on the packaging.

The warning is in response to misbranding and undeclared allergens; a recall was not necessary because the product has been pulled from shelves. The FSIS is still concerned about consumers who already bought the product.

The raw chicken breast includes eggs, which are a known allergen. However, the ingredient was not listed on the product label.

The mistake was reported by a retailer after a store employee discovered the correct label was listed on the front of the product, but an incorrect label was applied to the back of the chicken. The store told the producing establishment, which in turn notified FSIS.

So far, there are no confirmed cases of adverse reactions in response to the product.

The chicken breasts were sold in stores in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oregon, and Washington.

According to the FSIS, anyone who purchased the item should not eat it. Instead, it should be thrown away or taken back to where it was purchased.

While extremely popular among mainstream audiences, the adventure genre isn't a monolith, meaning not every single adventure film will be overwhelmingly beloved.

However, the publication Collider highlighted some of the most acclaimed and appreciated films from the genre by releasing a ranking of "6 most universally beloved adventure movies of all time." The May 2026 list included hit adventure movies like 1981's Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park from 1993, and The Goonies, released in 1985.

1987's ThePrincess Bride secured the list's top spot, with Collider complimenting the Rob Reiner-directed movie for its moments of action, humor, and friendship.

In a 2012 interview for the film's Criterion Blu-Ray, alongside the movie's romantic leads Cary Elwes andRobin Wright, Reiner shared that he had been a long-time fan of author William Goldman, who wrote the Princess Bride book, published in 1973. He said that his father, late comedian and screenwriter Carl Reiner, had been given the book from Goldman to consider making into a film.

Reiner said his father "didn't know what to do with it," but had him read the book because he knew he "was a huge William Goldman fan."

"I read the book, and I went nuts for it. I mean, it was like somebody, you know, when you read something and like the writer is like in your head. Like this is my sensibility," explained the director, who died at the age of 78 in December 2025.

Reiner said that after he was an established filmmaker, he wanted to take on the task of adapting the fantasy-adventure book into film. He said, however, that there was some pushback because "nobody knew what to do with it" due to the book's "oddball" material.

During the interview, Reiner also said he enjoyed that the film's fandom spans generations.

"What I get the biggest kick out of, I don't know if you guys get this, where people come up to me who saw the film when they were young, who are now parents, who have six-year-olds who are now seeing the film, and they say how much they love it and their kids love it. That gives me the biggest kick," said Reiner while speaking to Wright, who played Princess Buttercup, and Elwes, who played Westley.

Paula Pickard, who appeared on early seasons of MTV's Jersey Shore, is soaking up every moment of her pregnancy before welcoming her little one.

On June 16, Pickard, 37, shared a series of photos from her baby shower on Instagram, including a sweet snapshot of herself cradling her growing baby bump. Alongside the post, she hinted that fans may not see many more pregnancy updates before her daughter makes her debut.

"Probably one of the last photo ops you'll see of me until baby Summer arrives," she wrote in the caption.

In another heartfelt post from the celebration, Pickard gave fans a closer look at the milestone and shared an update on her pregnancy.

"Yesterday we celebrated our growing family with almost all of our friends, family, coworker families (shout out to Beachcomber) and my favorite people to serve when I'm working," she wrote, referring to the iconic Jersey Shore bar where the coed baby shower took place.

She added that "Baby Summer is so loved already" and thanked everyone who attended what she described as a "super untraditional coed Sunday Funday bar baby shower."

Pickard also revealed she's now 32 weeks pregnant and expects baby Summer to arrive in about six to eight weeks.

"I feel ok, just normal pregnancy discomfort," she shared. "Nesting has taken over and now it's time to set up for her arrival and finish out this last month of work. Our family is looking forward to finally being complete and we can't wait to meet our Sunny baby girl."

Longtime Jersey Shore fans will remember Pickard from the MTV reality series, where she worked at the Shore Store and later became known for her on-again, off-again romance with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino.

Their relationship became a memorable storyline during the show's original run. After years of flirting, the pair officially dated during Season 6, though things ended dramatically when Sorrentino surprised Pickard by breaking up with her over dinner.

Despite the split, Pickard remained a fan favorite among many viewers, who appreciated her down-to-earth personality amid the show's larger-than-life cast.

Much has changed for both since their Jersey Shore days. Sorrentino, 43, went on to marry his college sweetheart, Lauren Sorrentino, and the couple now shares three children. Pickard, meanwhile, has largely stayed out of the reality TV spotlight, occasionally giving followers glimpses into major life milestones on social media.

Her latest update marks one of the biggest yet, as she's now counting down the days until baby Summer arrives.

HannahBrown is opening up about her experience with GLP-1s to treat polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome or PMOS.

The Bachelorette star spoke about her journey during a recent appearance on the SHE MDpodcast, hosted by OBGY Dr. Thaïs Aliabad, or “Dr. A,” and women's health advocate Mary Alice Haney.

"You were the first to tell me even what a GLP-1 was and how it could help with my insulin resistance," she said to the co-host, Dr. Aliabad.

Formerly known as PCOS, PMOS is a hormonal and metabolic disorder that alters how the body uses insulin. 

"You had discussed me going on a GLP-1. We talked about the weight gain that I was having," Brown said. "I was obviously really bloated. I was not having my period. You know, it would be every three months, maybe I would have one for two days and then that would be it."

GLP-1s are commonly used to help with Type 2 diabetes because of their effect on insulin. The medication works by lowering blood sugar by imitating the hormone that moves sugar into your cells. It stimulates the natural production of insulin. Common brand-name GLP-1s include Ozempic and Wegovy.

"You put me on one of those and I will say it changed my life," the reality star shared. "I have now, since taking that have had a period every 30 days. I have no bloating."

Brown is grateful for the medication’s help with her PCOS symptoms.

"I literally felt like a new human and not just because it was able to just stabilize me not continuing to just gain all this weight, but I could tell a difference by just how I felt being supported on that with all the other [PMOS] symptoms I had," she said. "I know some people who have a lot of bad things to say about GLP-1 but it changed my life."

It's easy to chalk cancer risk up to luck of the draw—or, more accurately, the gene pool. Some cancers, like breast cancer, certainly have genetic components, and it's crucial to know your family history and other risk factors that you cannot control.

"Uncontrollable risk factors for cancer are age, genetics, including personal history and family history, previous exposures to chemicals and radiation—what is done is done," says Dr. Adeel Khan, MD, an academic hemoncologist and epidemiologist in Dallas.

But you can change one of these factors moving forward: Chemical exposures, especially from everyday products, like the ones we use in the shower.

"Cancer development is a multi-step process and repeated exposure to harmful substances in our food, water and consumer products can cause progressive cellular damage," says Dr. James McCloskey, MD, the chief of the leukemia division at John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. "This knowledge empowers us to make informed lifestyle choices, such as avoiding tobacco and limiting alcohol, and to advocate for stronger regulations on harmful chemicals."

One of the best ways to advocate for change is with your wallet. When you understand the impact of combined chemical exposures, you can take proactive steps to switch to safer products, improving your long-term health and reducing your cancer risk in the process. For this reason, oncologists are begging people to stop doing this one thing in the shower. The good news? There are plenty of alternatives to this habit that pass the sniff test.

Oncologists warn that using heavily fragranced body washes consistently might raise cancer risk. "Ironically, products we believe are cleansing and revitalizing ourselves may be harming us in the process," says Dr. Sudarsan Kollimuttathuillam, MD, a medical oncologist at City of Hope Seacliff. "However, it’s important to be mindful of the products we use, as they could, over time, increase cancer risk."

Dr. McCloskey points out that many of these body washes contain chemicals that can carry health risks, including cancer.

"Phthalates, often hidden in 'fragrance,' can mimic hormones, a process linked to an increased risk of breast cancer," Dr. McCloskey says. "Parabens, used as preservatives, also act like estrogen and pose similar concerns. Sulfates (SLS) create lather, but their manufacturing can produce a cancer-causing byproduct called 1,4-dioxane. Finally, some preservatives, like DMDM hydantoin, slowly release formaldehyde, a known carcinogen."

Oncologists note that research on heavily fragranced body washes is emerging. "It's important to be honest: We don't have proof that every fragranced body wash is harmful," Dr. Kollimuttathuillam says. "What researchers are trying to understand is whether repeated exposure over many years may contribute to health risks for some people."

Dr. Khan agrees, stating, "Simply put, for most people, occasional use is unlikely to be a major cancer or other health risk."

Still, he says it's reasonable to suggest reducing daily use of strongly fragranced products, especially if you have sensitive skin, asthma, migraines, are pregnant or are shopping for your kids.

Dr. Kollimuttathuillam emphasizes that the information on cancer risks associated with heavily scented body washes isn't cause for panic. "I'd look at this as an opportunity rather than an emergency," he advises. "Most cancer risks develop over a lifetime and involve many factors, not one body wash or one ingredient."

You can still feel fresh and clean without a strongly scented body wash. In fact, switching might lower your exposure to ingredients that might contribute to cancer risk. Instead, oncologists recommend using one of these options in the shower:

1. Fragrance-free body wash. Dr. Kollimuttathuillam describes this one as the simplest swap for many people: "You still get the cleansing benefits without the added fragrance ingredients." Still, take a look at the ingredients list on the back of the label rather than relying on marketing copy that claims the product is "paraben-free." "A good rule of thumb is to look for simple, recognizable ingredients," he explains.
2. Bar soap. Simple and traditional, Dr. McCloskey notes that bar soaps usually have simpler, shorter ingredient lists than liquid body washes. "They often don't require the same level of preservatives—like parabens or formaldehyde-releasers—because they are solid and contain less water," he says. "This simplicity significantly reduces your 'chemical cocktail' exposure."
3. Pure liquid castile soap. Dr. McCloskey explains that this soap is made from saponified vegetable oil. "Castile soap...is completely biodegradable and natural," he says. "It contains no synthetic detergents, preservatives or foaming agents."

The Young and the Restless' head writer, Josh Griffith, is leaving The Young and the Restless. He had been working on the long-running daytime CBS show on and off for over 20 years.

On Friday, June 26, TV Insider confirmed that the Emmy-winning writer has decided to leave the soap opera. The cast and crew had been informed earlier that day, but it is not yet known when his exact departure will be. It has also not been announced who will take over the role from Griffith.

Griffith was also a co-executive of the soap opera, but according to Soap Opera Digest, he stood down from that role in May. Sally McDonald took over his producing duties, according to TV Insider.

He has been involved with the soap opera for two decades. He first joined The Young and the Restless in 2006 as a writer and lader co-executive producer. Although he exited in 2008, he returned for a year between 2012 and 2013, before moving to another soap, Days of Our Lives, in 2015.

You couldn't keep him away from Genoa City long, as he returned to The Young and the Restless in 2018 as supervising producer. The following year, he was promoted to head writer, and in 2023, he became an executive producer.

Over his stint on the show, he won four Daytime Emmy Awards. He also won for his work as a writer on Santa Barbara and One Life to Live.

In TV Insider’s preview for what Griffith had planned for the upcoming year as head writer of The Young and the Restless, he teased, “You’ve got to just keep that momentum going. It’s going to be a very exciting, suspenseful, and romantic winter and spring. It’s going to be jam-packed with intrigue, mystery, suspense, and love. We have some fun surprises up our sleeve for 2026.”

A spokesperson for The Young and the Restless did not immediately respond to People's request for comment on Saturday, June 27.

Cruz Beckham's latest music release has fans comparing the young musician's sound to that of a legendary '60s rock band.

On June 25, the singer dropped "Wear & Tear," the lead single and titular track of his upcoming debut EP, which is set to release on Aug 21. The six-track project was produced by industry masterminds Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, who have also worked alongside chart-topping music makers such as Charli XCX. Tracked with Cruz's backing band The Breakers, the song comes ahead of a busy touring season, which will see Cruz Beckham and the Breakers hit a slew of cities on a headline U.S. tour before they take the stage at some of the world's biggest music festivals, including Lollapalooza and Reading & Leeds.

Fans have been comparing the new single to the likes of music icons The Beatles and Oasis, commenting that the track is like a transport back in time.

"Reminiscent of both The Beatles and Oasis..." one person commented under momVictoria Beckham's Instagram post, where she shared the official music video.

"Love the Beatles vibes," wrote a second.

A third compared the sound to the Madchester movement of the late '80s and early '90s, which saw Mancunian bands such as The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays adopt a fresh sound that merged indie rock with acid house and electronic dance beats.

Cruz Beckham and The Breakers broke onto the music scene in Oct. 2025 with the release of "Optics". The single peaked at No. 64 on the U.K. Official Physical Single Chart. Its follow-up, "For Your Love," reached No. 71 on the Official Singles Sales Chart.
