Chris Rock and Eddie Murphy’s Stunning Daughters Hit the Red Carpet With Their Famous Dads
Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock are two of the most famous comedians in the world, but their favorite roles might be that of proud fathers.
Murphy, 65, rose to fame as a stand-up comic before hitting Saturday Night Liveand going on to beloved roles in films like Coming to America, Trading Places, and Beverly Hills Cop. Rock, 61, also broke boundaries as a standup, and then went on to SNL. His UPN series, Everybody Hates Chris, earned critical acclaim, and he continues to sell out shows to this day. But the dynamic comedy duo found two special dates for the premiere of Netflix's Roommates this week at The Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood: Their daughters.
Rock was joined by his stunning lookalike daughter, Zahra Rock, 21, while Murphy was joined by his beautiful daughter, Bella Murphy, 24, with whom he even appeared on the cover of Essence Magazine back in 2021. Now those are two proud papas!

Eddie Murphy Is a HomebodyBack in November, Murphy made it clear that he's not one for hanging out with famous people all the time. In fact, he prefers to stay at home with his family. So what's the reason why he'd rather hang out at home than with other celebrities? Simply put, he thinks they’re “fake.”
“That’s one of the reasons why I don’t go to award shows and stuff, the feeling of being in a room full of famous people who all want win some trophy, that feeling is such a s—– feeling,” Murphy told USA Today. “Everybody’s dressed and acting and fake … just being in a room full of famous people is just a weird − I don’t like it.”
The natural homebody prefers to hang out with his loved ones.
“ I’ve always liked to stay around the house,” Murphy continued. “The people I know that do stand-up comedy … they do it because they love it. They love it. They get something from getting on that stage and feeling the energy and all, and I’m the exact opposite. My batteries get recharged in a quiet setting when I’m at home, or I’m somewhere where everything can slow down; that’s where I get energized. The crowd saps my energy.”

John Carpenter's 'Escape from New York' to Receive Upcoming Remake – And Fans Are All Saying the Same Thing: 'How About NO'
Forty-five years after the original stunned theatergoers across the globe, John Carpenter's iconic cult action film Escape from New York is currently scheduled to receive a long-awaited remake, as reported by IndieWire.
The announcement of the film came this past Monday at CinemaCon, with producer Studiocanal sharing few details about the project aside from the fact that it is currently in very early pre-production. Similarly, it's not yet known which cast or crew might sign on to work on the latest remake attempt of the cult classic '80s thriller.
As fans of the original might recall, Escape from New York featured a dystopian version of the U.S. where New York City has become a maximum security prison run by an authoritarian U.S. government.
When the President of the United States (Donald Pleasence) is kidnapped by opportunistic criminals inside the city, the government sends in disgraced ex-Special Forces operative Snake Plissken (Kurt Russell) to rescue the president and avert the looming the threat of World War III.
Released to positive reviews at the time of its theatrical debut in 1981, Escape from New York has gone on to enjoy favored cult status in the decades since, with many fans and critics considering it one of director John Carpenter's best films.
With its iconic reputation today, most viewers remain largely ambivalent towards the idea of an Escape from New York remake, with one fan writing on IndieWire's Facebook post, "How about NO."
Of course, this is hardly the first time a remake of Escape from New York has been discussed by a major studio. As IndieWire pointed out, previous attempts to remake the film have been helmed by everyone from Joel Silver (Die Hard) and Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk till Dawn) to Radio Silence (Ready or Not), all of which have stalled out for some reason or another over the years.
Disneyland Paris’ New ‘Up’ Ride Has a Name—and It’s a Love Letter to Adventure
If you’ve been following the massive evolution of Disneyland Paris, you know that the former Walt Disney Studios Park is currently in the middle of a serious glow-up. Now officially known as Disney Adventure World, the park is trading its "behind-the-scenes" industrial roots for immersive lands like the newly opened World of Frozen.
But for those of us who still tear up during the first 10 minutes of Up, the biggest news just dropped. Disney has officially confirmed the name and details for the first-ever attraction inspired by the Pixar classic: Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings.
Slated to launch in 2027, this isn't a high-tech "mega-thrill." Instead, it’s a beautifully themed "flying chair" carousel—the kind of classic, wind-in-your-hair experience that perfectly mirrors the feeling of floating away with a thousand balloons.

View this post on Instagram The Design: Art Nouveau Meets PixarWhat makes this move so interesting is the aesthetic. Rather than just being a colorful kids' ride, the architecture will blend Art Nouveau influences with industrial wrought iron. Think elegant arches meeting whimsical cloud and balloon motifs.
According to details shared byWDW News Today, the queue is where the real storytelling happens. It will feature four distinct areas packed with "Easter eggs" from the film, including Carl’s boyhood aviator helmet and Ellie’s iconic "Adventure Book." It’s a move that prioritizes the feeling of the film over just the flash of a new ride.

A New Way to AdventureThe Sky Swings will be the centerpiece of the ongoing expansion that kicked off on March 29. While we wait for the Wilderness Explorers to officially recruit us for our "Aviation" badges, there’s already plenty to see in the new Adventure Way area, including:
- Rapunzel Tangled Spin: A whimsical new addition for the Tangled fans.
- The Regal View Restaurant: A high-end dining spot with a front-row seat to the park's new lakefront.
- The Gazebo Gardens: A rare, quiet "sanctuary" space for outdoor lounging.

1976's No. 1 Hit Film Was Almost a Made-for-TV Movie
The biggest movie of 1976 was almost a TV movie instead—and the deal was handled by a Happy Days star.
During an appearance on Sirius XM’s Sway in the Morning, Happy Days star Henry Winkler once revealed he negotiated a deal with ABC to make Sylvester Stallone’sRocky script into a network TV movie in the mid-1970s.
At the time, Stallone's only movie credit was in the 1974 movie The Lords of Flatbush, which also starred Winkler. But Winkler was one of the biggest stars on TV, playing Happy Days icon Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli, when Stallone showed him the script for a feature film.
“He came to Hollywood, his car broke down on Sunset Boulevard, he called me up,” Winkler recalled of his early friendship with Stallone. “I went to get he and his wife Sasha and their bull mastiff dog, left the car with all their belongings, took him to the apartment he rented. He gave me a script because I was doing the Fonz by then, and I took it to ABC and sold it as a television movie."
While network executives were impressed with the script, they wanted someone other than Stallone to rewrite it. But Stallone didn’t want his story about an Italian-American underdog boxer changed, so he begged Winkler to cancel the deal.
“I said, ‘ABC, I’m giving you back the money, I need that script back,’ and I gave it back to him, and it became Rocky,” Winkler said on the podcast. “And that is the honest truth.”
Stallone insisted on starring in ‘Rocky’Stallone wrote the script for Rocky in three days, according to Variety. When shopping his screenplay around, he insisted that he play the lead role of Rocky Balboa.
In an interview on CBS Mornings, Stallone revealed that multiple studios wanted the script, but didn’t want him. He was offered up to $360,000 for his screenplay, which would have made him the equivalent of a millionaire today. “But I couldn’t do it,” he told CBS’ Gayle King. “I more than needed the money. [My wife’s] pregnant, we’re broke. We have 106 dollars. I thought, ‘There’s something holding me back.”
United Artists ultimately agreed to cast Stallone in Rocky, and Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff produced the film.

Starring Stallone, Burgess Meredith, Burt Young, Carl Weathers, andTalia Shire, Rocky became the top movie of 1976. The film earned more than $225 million globally, per The Numbers.
Rocky also won Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Editing, and Best Director, and spawned a multi-film franchise.

When you think of things associated with Italy, pasta is probably near the top of the list. But what about car racing? Italy has hosted its own Formula 1 grand prix race since 1921, and Barilla, which also has a storied history in Italy, is taking inspiration from the high-speed race for its newest pasta shape.
Inspired by the wheel of a Formula 1 car, the special-edition ridged circular shape provides a textured bite that can hold onto sauce with ease, and is available now at Walmart.com before expanding to other retailers later this spring.

Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine Tease: 'Pitch Perfect 4 Is Happening' (Exclusive)
Comedy duo and real-life close friends Rebel Wilsonand Adam Devine recently shared insight into their current and upcoming work, past projects and healthy debate over coffee—and confirmed that the long-awaited Pitch Perfect sequel Pitch Perfect 4 is "definitely happening allegedly."
Both Wilson and Devine have long histories of fan-favorite comedic roles, many of which are in movies and shows that are now considered cult classics. In addition to their respective roles as Bumper and Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect, Devine is well known for his role as Andy on Modern Family, and Wilson has starred in multiple major movies, including Bridesmaids. The two also starred together in the 2019 romcom Isn't It Romantic.
Devine and Wilson have both taken their careers in new directions, with Wilson writing, directing and producing multiple projects, including two new comedy musicals, Girl Group and The Deb, and Devine taking on many voice acting roles, including in The Freak Brothers and Krapopolis.
Regarding the shift to directing and writing, Wilson said, "It's just really fun. Directing is the next level, and it's been so, so much fun. Hard to juggle it, having a family now, because you've got the ultimate responsibility being a director, but it's just been a blast."
Devine likewise expressed enthusiasm over his voice acting roles, sharing, "I love it because you can just do a take and then do another take immediately. When you're acting, sometimes you're like, 'Man, I wish I could've changed or done an inflection here, done something a little different.' [With voice acting] you just go, you get to do three in a row and then you get to go, 'Hey, can I actually try that differently?' or 'I'm going to go on an improv rant right here,' and sometimes they're like, 'That's great; we're going to use all of that,' so I love doing voiceover work."
However, the friends are ready to come back together on the big screen, and they revealed that this ("allegedly") will be happening in a project that many have been waiting to see: Pitch Perfect 4.
"Pitch Perfect 4 is happening," Devine said. "It's definitely happening, allegedly...So, that's the legal term so if it doesn't happen, no one can sue us. You say, 'Allegedly.' So, allegedly, it's definitely happening, allegedly."
"Pitch Perfect 4 we've heard is definitely happening," Wilson added.
In the meantime, Wilson and Devine are already working together again on a new campaign with Planet Oat to settle a major coffee debate: Iced or hot? Wilson was repping iced coffee lovers, whereas Devine is a hot coffee fan.
Planet Oat
In conjunction with this new partnership, Planet Oat is hosting The Great Coffee Debate Pop-Up at NYC’s Astor Place on April 16, beginning at 8 a.m. At the pop-up, guests can customize their free preferred coffee temperature with Planet Oat’s Barista Lovers or original, vanilla or extra creamy varieties.
The campaign also includes The Great Coffee Debate Sweepstakes, which will run until April 27 and allow fans the opportunity to vote on hot or iced coffee for the chance to win two grand prizes.

46 Years Ago Today, Hollywood Legend Won His First Best Actor Award at the Oscars
It was 46 years ago today when Hollywood icon Dustin Hoffman reached a major milestone in his career, winning his very first Academy Award for Best Actor at the 52nd Academy Awards.
Hoffman’s powerful role in Kramer vs. Kramer not only earned him the prestigious honor but also helped define a new era of emotional storytelling in Hollywood.
The 1980 Oscars marked a huge night for the film, which went on to win five Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Robert Benton. But it was Hoffman’s deeply human performance as Ted Kramer that stood out, capturing the attention of both audiences and critics worldwide.
American actor Dustin Hoffman holds up the Oscar statuette he won for Best Actor for his role in the film, 'Kramer vs. Kramer,' Academy Awards, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, L.A. County Music Center, Los Angeles, California, April 14, 1980. (Photo by Frank Edwards/Fotos International/Getty Images)Before this victory, Hoffman had already built a strong reputation as a talented actor known for playing complex and emotional characters. However, his role in Kramer vs. Kramer pushed his career to a whole new level.
In the film, Hoffman plays Ted Kramer, a busy advertising executive whose life changes overnight when his wife, played by Meryl Streep, leaves him and their young son. The story follows Ted as he learns how to be a caring father while dealing with the pain of divorce and a tough custody battle.
The film’s emotional story and realistic performances made it a huge success. It earned more than $173 million at the box office on a modest budget, becoming the highest-grossing film of 1979 in the United States and Canada. Critics praised the film for its honest look at family life, gender roles, and parenting.
Hoffman’s performance was widely celebrated. Critics highlighted how he showed both strength and vulnerability, making Ted Kramer feel like a real person. His portrayal helped bring attention to changing ideas about fatherhood during the late 1970s.
‘Kramer vs. Kramer’ Becomes an Oscar PowerhouseAt the 52nd Academy Awards, Kramer vs. Kramer led the nominations and wins. Alongside Hoffman’s Best Actor award, Meryl Streep won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Joanna Kramer.
The film also won Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Director, showing its strength in both storytelling and filmmaking. Its success did not stop there. It also performed well at other major award shows, including the Golden Globes, where it won Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Actor for Hoffman.
What made the film special was how it handled a sensitive topic like divorce. Instead of choosing sides, it showed both parents as real people with feelings and struggles. This balanced approach helped audiences connect with the story on a deeper level.
Famous film critic Roger Ebert praised the movie’s writing, saying, "His characters aren't just talking to each other, they're revealing things about themselves and can sometimes be seen in the act of learning about their own motives." His review showed why the film touched so many viewers.
Another critic, Vincent Canby of The New York Times, called it "a fine, witty, moving, most intelligent adaptation," while also praising Hoffman as "splendid in one of the two or three best roles of his career."
Hoffman also won a second Academy Award for his role in Rain Man (1988), further cementing his legacy as one of the greatest actors of his generation.Today, his performance in Kramer vs. Kramer is still remembered as one of the finest in film history.

The added patrols come after a specific issue was raised by residents, offering new insight into activity surrounding the case, KVOA reports.
Per the station, the Pima County Sheriff's Department attended a recent homeowners association meeting in Guthrie's community where some neighbors voiced concerns about ongoing disruptions.
"Neighbors complained about a YouTuber harassing residents in the area. PCSD confirmed that they have also received similar complaints from Guthrie's daughter Annie in relation to her neighborhood. The department has increased patrols in both areas due to those complaints," KVOA reported on Monday, April 13.
While the majority of news stations have left the area, a handful of live streamers remain, many hoping to keep the case alive as Guthrie news has slowed in recent weeks. However, some neighbors have apparently had enough and would like their lives—and their neighborhoods—to go back to normal.
Nevertheless, Guthrie's whereabouts are unknown and authorities have yet to apprehend the person or persons responsible for her disappearance. Thousands of tips have been sent in to investigators and DNA samples are reportedly still being tested.
Anyone with information about the case is advised to contact the FBI (1-800-CALL-FBI). There is significant reward money being offered, and it currently sits at $1.2 million.

NYX Just Turned Their Cult Fave Lip Oil Into a Body Care Line for Your 'Everything Shower': Prepare Your Collarbones
NYX has moved on from your face.
Consumers spent the last decade contouring their noses and applying moisturizer to their cheeks until they glistened. Now, the vibe has shifted. If your glow stops at your jawline, you risk looking unfinished.
NYX, the brand that raised a generation on matte lip creams and inexpensive eyeliner, realized the gap. After twenty-seven years of staying north of the neck, NYX finally moved south. The Fat Oil Body collection is a land grab for the skin below your chin.
NYX Fat Oil Body Collection: Everything We Know About the LaunchOld-school body care is over. Bathroom counters used to be filled with pump-bottles of white goo slapped on because our legs look like a map of the Mojave.
The Fat Oil lip drips are already on the shelves. Now, that high-shine finish is meant for your arms, legs, and chest. NYX is betting shoppers are tired of smelling like chemicals and dermatological sadness. From Lip Drips to Body Butters: The Evolution of the Fat Oil FranchiseThe clean girl aesthetic is giving way to a need to look hydrated to the point of being reflective. Sugar Baddie is for the vanilla girl purists who want to look glistening, not glittery. Then there’s Coconut Cutie, which includes a "Butt Sheet Mask." It’s camp, it’s ridiculous, and it will probably sell out as soon as it hits stores.

She’s betting that the same people who turned Fat Oil lip drips into a cult item will do the same for their collarbones. As Pearson puts it: "If you NYX, you glow!"
The collection is live on the NYX site and TikTok Shop right now. The rest of the world has to wait until May 1st to find it in the wild.
Kim Kardashian Faces Mom-Shaming Backlash for This Coachella Moment
Kim Kardashian brought her 12-year-old daughter, North West, to Coachella over the weekend, and fans had some pretty strong thoughts. Of course, the Kardashian clan is no stranger to controversy. And the most recent slam hasn’t seemed to rattle the family.
Who is Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West?North is the eldest of Kim’s children, born in June 2013. Kardashian shares the 12-year-old with ex-husband, Kanye West. Like the other Kardashians, North has grown up in the public eye and has a major presence on social media. While her most recent outing (to Coachella) may have grabbed fans’ attention and sparked a backlash, this isn’t exactly her first big event. The trendy tween who rocked blue hair at Coachella joined dad, Ye, on stage during an April 1 performance in Los Angeles.
As it turns out, North is a talented performer in her own right. She wowed fans at the SoFi Stadium concert, singing two new songs—’Talking’ and ‘Piercing on My Hand.’
Why did North West’s Coachella appearance cause a backlash?North’s weekend trip to Coachella made headlines. Like anything else the Kardashian-Jenners do, the tween was pretty much followed by a trail of cameras. Along with plenty of paparazzi-ish shots, she also took pics with a few famous faces, influencers, and reality stars. And here’s where the backlash started.
Celebs can fan-out too. And it looks like that’s exactly what North did when she got the opportunity to meet influencers and Love Island fan-favorite Olandria. People posted a video of Kardashian’s daughter giggling with absolute delight as she met the celeb. As the pair posed for pictures, it was clear that North couldn’t contain her glee.
While some fans thought the Coachella meetup with cute and absolutely adored the sweet squealing, others weren’t as sure. One commenter bashed Kardashian for allowing her daughter to attend the event, writing sarcastically, “12 yr old at Coachella…Excellent parenting.”
Other fans jumped in to defend Kim and North, with one commenting, “It’s a music festival. And Justin Bieberwas the main artist this weekend, who actually happens to be a friend of the family…it’s really not that scandalous,” while another said, “12 year olds can’t enjoy music?”
View this post on InstagramThe controversy didn’t end there. French influencer Matteo Sinet posted a clip of himself with North West, leaving fans to ask questions about her involvement with the 20-something model. One commenter wrote, “Who lets their 12 year old daughter out to a festival, let alone without her parents…She needs to be a 12 year old kid!” Another fan came to the rescue, pointing out, “When you are her parents you can choose if she goes or not.”

Henry Winkler's First Nude Scene Happened at 79 on a Cold Beach With Only 'a Piece of Jewelry'
Henry Winkler has been on television for more than 50 years. He has an Emmy. He has Golden Globes. And until recently, he had never done a truly risqué scene.
That changed when Maya Rudolph called.
Winkler, 80, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!and described how he ended up baring almost everything for the Season 3 premiere of Apple TV+'s Loot. He plays Gerald Canning, a billionaire who runs a nudist colony on a tropical island. Rudolph plays Molly Wells, the third-wealthiest woman in the United States, who finds herself stranded on Gerald's half of the island.
'When she asked me to be on the first episode of the third season of Loot, I didn't even ask to read the script,' Winkler told Kimmel. He went in for a costume fitting, and the first thing they handed him was a silk robe. That was it. 'There was nothing else. That was it,' he said. 'And I said, 'No, no, no.' And they said, 'No, there's a piece of jewelry.'
They filmed in January, on a beach. 'The wind came from every direction,' Winkler said. Rudolph, for her part, was dressed head to toe. Winkler called the experience 'liberating.'
Rudolph was equally enthusiastic. She told Jimmy Kimmel Live!in an earlier interview that she has been a fan of Winkler's since childhood. 'Arthur Fonzarelli was supposed to be my husband,' she said. 'I don't know what happened, but Henry is the greatest. And just goes to show you is, like, up for doing anything.'
The Loot appearance is one piece of a busy stretch. Winkler also hosts Hazardous History on the History Channel, which was just renewed, expanding from 8 episodes to 30.
Winkler's willingness to commit is well established. He spent a decade as Fonzie on Happy Days, won his first Emmy at 72 for Barry, and has shown no interest in slowing down. When asked on the IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson podcast whether retirement was coming, he was dismissive: 'I will retire when I am not able to do, again, more. I think that is deadly.'
The nude scene, cold beach and all, fits the pattern perfectly.
Loot Season 3 is available on Apple TV+.
This Is the Midwest’s Coolest Weekend Getaway Right Now—and It’s Not Chicago
When you think hip, vibrant Midwestern cities, you probably think Chicago first—maybe Minneapolis, maybe even Detroit. Milwaukee doesn’t always make the first list. Maybe because it's so close to Chicago, maybe because it's doesn't get the attention of those other big hitters. However, after a few days there in February, I'm ready to call Milwaukee one of the Midwest's hippest cities, and am ready to stand tall on that claim.
What I love about it is that it's only about an hour and a half by car from Chicago, so it’s an easy escape that sill has the Lake Michigan beaches, strong museum lineup and a food-and-drink scene that's worth writing home about. Not only that, Milwaukee was also named the most affordable lakefront destination in the U.S. based on a Beach.com analysis. As we quickly found out, you can easily build a full weekend around the lake, markets, breweries, and patios without going over budget. So much of that is due to the accessibility and ease of getting around. According to Julia Meehan, a a Milwaukee local and communications manager for Visit Milwaukee, "Everything’s within reach. You can do a lot in a weekend without feeling like you spent the whole time getting to the next thing or spending so much on transportation or an Uber," she says.

View this post on Instagram Why Should You Visit Now?There is so much momentum behind the city now. Meehan says visitors are coming from even further away than before, giving the city a chance to shine for people not even located in the Midwest. "It's a much wider range of travelers discovering the city," she says. Additionally, it was named the third-best bit city by Condé Nast Readers in 2025, citing the incredible mix of culture, lake activities, a bustling food and beverage scene, as well as more outdoor pursuits outside the city limits. Plus, with spring in full swing, the festival season is heating up, with the Milwaukee Film Festival in late April, PrideFest in early June, and Summerfest spread across three weekends from late June into early July.

Where to Stay and PlayMeehan points travelers to hotels that fit the Milwaukee aesthetic, and not just big box brands that are only a place to sleep. She recommends The Kimpton Journeyman in the Historic Third Ward because it’s an easy walk to the Milwaukee Public Market and close to the lakefront, plus it has its own built-in rooftop bar, The Outsider, and restaurant Tre Rivali. For something with more Wisconsin charm, book The Pfister, which has been Milwaukee’s grand old hotel for generations, ornate, historic, and a little bit glamorous in the way only a true legacy property can be. Dubbel Dutch if you want a very boutique experience with an incredible cocktail bar downstairs called The Agency.
If you’ve never been to the city, Meehan recommends starting at Milwaukee Public Market, home to 19 independent vendors with seafood, cheese curds, pastries, coffee, spices, and gifts. She then suggests walking to 3rd Street Market Hall for another lap of food and local drinks. If you're traveling with kids in tow, you can't miss their acclaimed science and technology museum, Discovery World. This hands-on adventure lets you tinker with robots and do experiments. Attached is the Reiman Aquarium, which has interactive exhibits that let the little ones touch stingrays and sturgeons. After this, Meehan suggests heading straight to the lakefront.
“Lake Michigan is part of who we are,” she says. “Walk it, or get out on the water if you can.” From there, it’s easy to build the day around the RiverWalk, a couple hours at the Milwaukee Art Museum or Harley-Davidson Museum, and some shopping in the Historic Third Ward (for art gallery browsing, boutiques procuring, and design-forward fashion stops). If you want a nature reset, take the long way along the water through Lakeshore State Park or Lake Park, both offer lush green spaces to walk and lounge, as well as scenic views of the lake.
Related: 7 Midwest Fall Hikes That’ll Make You Forget You’re in the Midwest
Where to EatFor Meehan, it's hard to pick a favorite restaurant in the city, because the culinary influence varies so much. “You can discover something new here every day,” she says. "I love that the new openings continue to build on a strong, deeply rooted food and drink culture.” However, some of her recommendations are Cassis for a proper bistro night with steak frites and beef tartare on the table, or Three Brothers for an old-school way with burek (beef, cheese, or spinach-and-cheese), sarma, and Serbian salad. If you want something cozy that still feels like a night out, Goodkind has a mouthwatering 1/2 Amish rotisserie chicken and spicy crab pasta. For date night, she points you to Bacchus, where the menu can run from yellowfin tuna crudo to Muscovy duck breast.
One of the best meals I not only had in Milwaukee but anywhere this year was Saffron in the Historic Third Ward. It’s tucked into a narrow building with a long white quartz bar and a glowing dining room dressed up with chandeliers, plus a river-side patio when the weather cooperates. I recommend starting with the samosa sampler, then opting for the Saffron Butter Chicken (smoked chicken, red pepper-tomato sauce, fenugreek) or the Lamb Biryani that literally melts in your mouth. The cocktail list is worthy of a look too, especially the Gin & Jade (honeydew-infused gin with an aroma diffuser moment) or the Ube Monk.

1975 Career-Defining Hit for Willie Nelson Wasn't Originally Sung By Him
One of Willie Nelson's biggest hits of the '70s was actually written decades earlier.
"Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," which was recorded by Nelson in 1975 and helped launch him into country music superstardom, was originally written by Fred Rose in 1945, and had been covered by a number of other artists before Nelson put out his version.
Nelson included "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" on his breakthrough concept album Red Headed Stranger in May 1975, before releasing it as a single later that summer. It would go on to earn Nelson his first-ever No. 1 hit, cementing his arrival on the country music scene.
"Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," originally sung by Roy Acuff in 1947, had already been covered by several other stars before Nelson, including Conway Twitty (1970), Elvis Presley (1976), Olivia Newton-John (1976), Eva Cassidy (2008) and more. But it was Nelson who turned the song into a chart-topping success.
View this post on InstagramIn October 1975, it reached the top of Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, where it stayed for two weeks in a row. It opened the door to the mainstream for more of Nelson's songs, including "Good Hearted Woman," which hit No. 1 in early 1976, and "If You've Got the Money I've Got the Time," which reached the summit of the country chart in September 1976.
"Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" peaked at #21 on Billboard'sHot 100, and later secured Nelson his first Grammy win for Best Country Vocal Performance at the 1976 ceremony.
To this day, with Nelson now having 12 Grammys and more than 20 No. 1 hits, "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" is still regarded as one of the best songs of his career. Rolling Stone crowned it as the No. 1 Best Willie Nelson Song and ranks it #27 on the list of the 200 Greatest Country Songs of All Time.

Taco Bell just announced it's days away from launching a new menu item, and believe it or not, it just so happens to be a first for the company.
On Tuesday, the cult-favorite Mexican-inspired chain announced it had teamed up with another legendary icon to introduce a "first-of-its-kind" sauce made with Zab's "St. Augustine Style" hot sauce and Taco Bell's Spicy Ranch, marking the first-ever Datil Pepper hot sauce partnership.

The recipe is then topped off with a sweet and spicy blend of Zab’s "St. Augustine Style" Sauce (which the hot sauce brand calls a tribute to how traditional Datil Pepper sauces are made, where the peppers are grown in St. Augustine, Fla.) and Taco Bell’s Spicy Ranch, starring a "creamy kick of Datil Pepper heat."
