Hershey’s Announces Major Shift After ‘Real Chocolate’ Backlash: ‘You Got Caught’
Hershey's has made a big announcement after a wave of criticism from customers. After making unpopular ingredient changes in some of its confections, the company has just pledged to change course and bring back real chocolate in 2027.
Hershey's had stopped using real chocolate? In some products, yes.
In fact, the company's change in direction comes just weeks after Hershey's was called out by a notable chocolate candy heir.
Brad Reese, the grandson of Reese's founder H.B. Reese, called out Hershey's for changes they quietly made to a number of their iconic products.
On February 14, Reese posted an open letter written to The Hershey Company via his LinkedIn page. He noted that his grandfather "Built Reese's on a simple, enduring architecture: Milk Chocolate + Peanut Butter."
Reese continued, "But today, Reese's identity is being rewritten, not by storytellers, but by formulation decisions that replace Milk Chocolate with compound coatings and Peanut Butter with peanut-butter-style cremes across multiple Reese's products."
He explained, "I'm not asking for nostalgia. I'm asking for alignment... If Reese's is going to remain the emotional equity anchor of The Hershey Company, then the story cannot be stronger than the ingredients."
On April 1, CBS News reported that Hershey has stated it will return to its classic recipes for all Reese's products, beginning in 2027.
According to the media outlet, the traditional Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have always contained real peanut butter and chocolate, either milk or dark.
However, a "small portion" of both Reese's and Hershey's products had shifted to have less real chocolate. One example given was the mini Easter eggs in regard to their coating.
Per CBS News, Hershey had "acknowledged some recipe changes but said it was trying to meet consumer demand for innovation." In addition, it seems escalating prices on cocoa had played a role in the shift.
PR Daily quoted Hershey spokesperson Allison Kleinfelter as stating, "Consumer preferences for ingredients evolve over time, and we have always responded."
The company suggested that the ingredient shift back to real milk and dark chocolate has been the plan for a while now, and the decision has nothing to do with Reese's letter.
Kleinfelter added, "We are moving with speed, with changes targeted to begin in 2027, covering formulation, packaging, supply lines and ingredient sourcing."
Reese isn't all that impressed. He told the New York Times, "This is just a P.R. stunt; there's no victory here. If they were serious, they would do it right away."
H.B. Reese created a candy company of his own in 1919, after working for Hershey for two years. The first Reese's Peanut Butter Cups debuted in 1928 as the elder Reese worked from his basement.
In 1963, Reese's sons sold the company to Hershey. The senior Reese died in 1956 at the age of 76.
The news that Hershey's is shifting back to real chocolate prompted a notable response online.
On a recent Instagram post on the Hershey's page, critical comments were plentiful.
"You got caught. Changing back to anything has nothing to do with quality or safety," one Instagram user wrote.
Another ranted, "Y'all dead wrong for what y'all did to the Reesie cups."
Someone else quipped, "Hey, can I please have the fake cheapter yummier chocolate (said no one ever). I mean, chocolate is literally your brand. Oops."
48 Years Ago Today, Beloved '70s Icon Won Her Only Best Actress Award at the Oscars
Diane Keaton reached a career-defining milestone 48 years ago today, when she took home a major award for her iconic title role in Annie Hall.
Before her illustrious career on the big screen starring in The Godfather trilogy, The First Wives Club, Something's Gotta Give and Father of the Bride, the Los Angeles native captured the public's heart with her unforgettable performance in the Woody Allen-directed classic.
Not only did the movie mark a radical shift in how women were portrayed in films, but it also sparked the buzz around the "Annie Hall Look," igniting a trend of menswear-inspired fashion for women.
The viewers’ strong reaction and positive reviews from critics led to Annie Hall winning back-to-back awards. This includes Keaton’s first Oscar Award.
Diane Keaton and Woody Allen in the film "Annie Hall."On April 3, 1978, the then 32-year-old star solidified her presence as one of Hollywood's most iconic talents after winning Best Actress at the 50th Academy Awards.
Presented by Janet Gaynor and Walter Matthau, the actress took the stage to express how “honored” and thankful she was for the opportunity and recognition.
“This is terrific,” she said in her acceptance speech as cited by the Oscars. “It's simply terrific. Naturally, I'm very honored to have been nominated with actresses like Jane Fonda, Shirley MacLaine, Anne Bancroft and Marsha Mason; this is something. Anyway, ‘Annie Hall’ was a wonderful experience for me, and I just would like to say thanks to Woody, and thank you. Thank you very much.”

Apart from Keaton’s first and only Best Actress Award at the Oscars, she also took home another major win in the same year.
The Smother star won Best Actress for Motion Picture Musical or Comedy at the 35th Golden Globe Awards for her role in Annie Hall, marking a back-to-back best-actress win.
Unfortunately, 48 years later, following her monumental win at the Oscars, Keaton was given a special tribute at the 98th Academy Awards.
Following her death on October 11, 2025, at the age of 79, the Memoriam segment was led by The Family Stone co-star Rachel McAdams, who described her as “a legend with no end.”
“She wore so many hats, literally and figuratively – actress, artist, author, activist – but no hat was more important to her than being a mother to her two children,” McAdams said. “She meant so much to so many of us.”
The actress concluded her speech by recalling a memorable moment with Keaton as she continued to express her admiration and the influence she had on the industry.
“I remember she used to sing this old Girl Scout song on set, which is just so her: ‘Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, and the other is gold. A circle is round; it has no end. That’s how long I’ll be your friend.’ And so to our friend Diane Keaton, celebrating a life in silver and gold, a legend with no end.”
Keaton passed away in California due to pneumonia, as cited by The Guardian.

A watch is a classic wardrobe staple, and right now, wrist stacking is an easy way to make it feel more modern. Still, building the perfect stack can be tricky. It’s not always easy to find pieces that work well together without one overpowering the rest, which is why a coordinated set makes things so much simpler.
A great option to consider is the Anne Klein Quartz Round Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Mesh Watch and Bracelet Set. It takes all the guesswork out of styling— instead of sorting through different pieces and hoping they match, you get a polished, ready-to-wear combination. Right now, it’s on sale for 50% off at Macy’s, bringing the price down from $95 to just $48.
Anne Klein Quartz Round Gold-Tone Stainless Steel Mesh Watch and Bracelet Set, $48 (was $95) at Macy’s Shop at Macy'sThe set includes both a watch and a bracelet that are designed to complement each other perfectly. The watch features a gold-tone alloy case measuring 32 millimeters with a clean white analog dial and Japan quartz movement. The stainless-steel mesh band has an adjustable sliding closure, while the bracelet adds a romantic touch with crystal detailing.
Beyond style, it’s also built for everyday wear. It’s splash-proof, so you don’t have to worry about small moments like washing your hands or getting caught in light rain. It also comes with an 11-year limited warranty, which adds a level of long-term value you don’t always see in trend-forward accessories.
Styling this set is easy thanks to its versatility. For a more refined look, you can wear the watch on one wrist and the bracelet on the other for a subtle touch of shine. If you prefer a stacked look, wear them together on the same wrist, placing the bracelet just above the watch to frame it. ’70s Musician With Major Hit Song Dead at 74
Tzruya “Suki” Lahav, a musician and writer whose work touched both American rock history and Israeli culture, has died at the age of 74.
Lahav passed away on Wednesday in Jerusalem after a battle with cancer, according to her family. She was best known internationally for her brief but memorable time performing with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in the mid-1970s, a period associated with the legendary Born to Run era.
Her son shared the news publicly, describing her as “a special, wise, pure-hearted woman who loved life” and whose songs “touched the hearts of so many.”
Although Lahav did not write or headline the hit “Born to Run,” her contributions to the album’s sessions, especially her violin work on “Jungleland,” helped shape its powerful sound.
View this post on InstagramLahav joined Springsteen’s circle in the early 1970s after moving to the United States with her then-husband, recording engineer Louis Lahav. She became part of the E Street Band in late 1974 and performed in dozens of concerts during a crucial time before Springsteen rose to global fame.
According to Variety, she also lent her voice to 4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy), where she created a choir-like backing vocal after a children’s choir failed to appear for the session. Though uncredited at the time, her performance became one of the song’s defining elements.
Springsteen later honored her with a heartfelt tribute, saying:
“Here on E Street, we’re heartbroken over the passing of Suki Lahav. Her angelic voice shone on ‘4th of July, Asbury Park (Sandy)’ and her beautiful violin brought great drama to the ‘Jungleland’ intro… She was a wonderful friend, may she rest with the angels.”
Lahav performed about 38 shows with the band between 1974 and 1975. Her presence on stage, often described as graceful and striking, offered a contrast to Springsteen’s energetic style.
Despite her short time with the group, fans remained fascinated by her role in that early chapter of rock history.
After leaving the band in 1975, Lahav returned to Israel, where she built a long and successful career far beyond her time in American rock music.
She became one of Israel’s most respected lyricists, writing songs that would go on to become classics. Her work included lyrics for major artists and even the country’s entry in the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest.
In addition to music, Lahav expanded her creative work into film and literature. She wrote the screenplay for the crime film Kesher Dam and authored award-winning novels such as Andre’s Wooden Clogs and The Swamp Queen Does the Tango.
Her achievements earned her major honors, including a lifetime achievement award for her contributions to music and culture.
Even with her success in Israel, Lahav never forgot her time with Springsteen. In later interviews, she spoke fondly of those early days, once saying, “It’s not the main thing in my life, but it’s a part of me that will never fade.”
While her name may not be as widely recognized as others from the Born to Run era, Lahav’s influence remains clear. Her violin helped shape one of rock’s most iconic albums, and her voice added depth to songs that fans still cherish today.

Country Singer Reflects on ‘One of the Hardest Seasons of My Life,’ Eyes Next Chapter
Danica Hart has stepped into the solo spotlight following her decade-long role as the lead singer of the dynamic country music trio Chapel Hart, which included her sister, Devynn Hart, and her cousin, Trea Swindle.
While appearing at the 2026 Country Radio Seminar (CRS), which ran from March 18-20 at the Omni in Nashville, Tenn, the powerhouse songstress spoke candidly about stepping out on her own — territory she describes as entirely uncharted. For her, the transition into a solo career has been both liberating and nerve-wracking, pushing her to take a leap of faith and embrace the unknown.
That journey has ultimately inspired a new way of connecting with fans through what Hart calls “Open Hart Sessions.”
How the 'Open Hart Sessions' Started“My solo journey has been a complete shock because I mean, in my heart, I was going to be a group member forever,” Hart told Parade during a one-on-one chat at CRS. “With being launched into a solo career, I had already had this concept, and I said, ‘Why do we have to wait to make an EP or make a record?’ Why not try something different and do something different?... Why can't we sit down and show the fans what we're doing and be like, ‘Do you like this? Yes or no?’ And then you can kind of keep moving forward, and that is where the Open Hart Sessions were born from…”
Since launching her intimate ‘Open Hart Sessions’ in her hometown, they have grown much bigger, not just by scale, but by emotional impact. The singer/songwriter who has been leaning into her roots, spending the majority of her time back home in Mississippi, has enjoyed seeing the growth of her artistry that comes from showcasing her vulnerability.
“It has just been the most beautiful creation that kind of, in a sense, fell in my lap. And I've been doing that. It started as just kind of going to local places from my hometown in Mississippi. And it is spreading out to be a national thing,” Hart beamed. “It's growing, and I'm excited to see it.. I think I'm learning at this stage of my solo career that you've got to just do it anyway. Do it scared, do it nervous. I was nervous today coming into the Country Radio Seminar. I was like, I feel kind of naked. I've never been in one of these by myself before.”
“I've only ever been here as a group,” she added of how she’s been navigating this new chapter. “But that's how I felt during the Open Hart Sessions. But when I did the one in my hometown and the number of people who just showed up to show me love… People were weeping in the crowd and crying. I was crying. It was a beautiful mess…”
Her First Studio Solo ReleaseThat emotional honesty and transparency carry into her new music, too. In the fall, Hart released a song called “Amazing Grace,” which shares lyrics from the hymn, but also offers listeners a glimpse into a difficult chapter of her personal life, marked by hardship, healing, and faith.
“I’ve always been a songwriter, but more than that, I’ve always been a storyteller,” she explains, adding that the most meaningful success comes from hearing fans say her music has impacted their lives.
"That’s the moment where you go, 'Okay, I’m on the right path,'" she said.
“It's funny because in the group, they dubbed me the ‘Ballad Queen.’ That’s who I was. I’ve always loved good light, good music that tells stories," she continued. "And I think that also coming out solo, I would say, I’ve come out of one of the hardest seasons of my entire life…HE allowed me to break, but break gracefully. Somebody said, ‘Well, I see you're going Gospel.’ I was like, ‘I don't know that I'm going anywhere.'"
"I'm just writing and releasing the music from my heart, but I believe that I want to take a pause to thank God out loud and publicly because going through a breakup is, especially in the public eye, so hard," Hart said. "It's having to hold yourself together and wade through what's true, what's not. And there's a calm that you've got to have. God has kept me through this season.”
The Poplarville native’s willingness to embrace both country storytelling and spiritual themes has resonated widely with listeners who are finding their own meaning in the music.
“I've learned that through ‘Amazing Grace’ that it has helped so many people…,” she shares. “This thing has just taken such a life of its own, but I'm honored that it gets to be my baby.”
She Isn’t Rushing the Solo ProcessAs Hart looks ahead, she’s choosing patience over pressure, saying that she plans to “sit and surrender," adding that she’s finding peace in the quiet moments at home, like watching birds gather at her feeder. "This season… is about slowing down for me."
While she dreams of milestones, including making her Grand Ole Opry debut as a solo artist after she had previously stepped into the famous circle as a trio, her focus remains on staying grounded and open.
“I’m sitting with an open heart,” she says, proving that, for her, success is not just about accolades, but rather telling honest stories, trusting the journey, and knowing she’s exactly where she’s meant to be.

Iconic '80s Actor With Major Grammy Award Turns 65
One of the greatest comedians of all time is celebrating an exciting life milestone.
Eddie Murphy, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, Daddy Daycare, Shrek and Dolemite Is My Name, turned 65 years old on Friday. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, specifically the Bushwick neighborhood, his father was a transit police officer and amateur actor and comedian. His father was murdered when Murphy was eight years old, and when his mom became ill, he and his older brother Charlie lived in the foster care system, which developed his sense of humor.
In high school, Murphy performed at a talent show at the Roosevelt Youth Center, which led him to work and perform in various comedy clubs around New York City. In 1980, he joined the cast of SNL when he was just 19 years old, and stayed for four seasons. After leaving in 1984, he went on to star in a string of comedy movies, including the Beverly Hills Cop movies, The Golden Child, Coming to America, Another 48. Hrs, Mulan and many more.
The comedian has received many accolades throughout his 50-year career, including a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy Award and a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album in 1984 for his self-titled comedy album. In addition, he has many nominations for the Oscar Awards and the BAFTAs.

Murphy was inspired to become a comedian when he was just 15 years old, after listening to Richard Pryor's comedy album, That [explicit]'s Crazy, and cited Redd Foxx, Robin Williams, Bruce Lee and Charlie Chaplin as his inspirations.
"I knew I was going to always be famous," he told the TODAY Show four months ago. "I was the funniest kid. But, not the class clown...I was the cool dude in the back that could do an impression of the teacher or the school bully. I had a line for voices very, very early on."

In August 2025, Murphy starred in the 2025 heist action comedy The Pickup alongside Pete Davidson, Eva Longoria and Keke Palmer. A few months later, a documentary titled Being Eddie was released on Netflix, which covered his career and featured interviews with Chris Rock, Kevin Hart and Jamie Foxx. Next year, he will be reprising his role in the fifth Shrek movie as Donkey, the comedic sidekick to Shrek.

Beloved ’90s Actor With 4 Emmy Awards Turns 67
David Hyde Pierce, the beloved actor who is celebrated for his iconic role in Frasier, turns 67.
Born on April 3, 1959, in Saratoga Springs, New York, his exceptional skill in comedic acting, unmistakable voice and sharp wit made him one of the most respected performers in the entertainment industry.
For over a decade, Pierce has been linked to the critically acclaimed sitcomFrasier, which aired from 1993 to 2004.
For 11 seasons, he entertained viewers with his striking portrayal of the psychiatrist Dr. Niles Crane, the witty and equally neurotic younger brother of Frasier Crane, as portrayed by Kelsey Grammer.
With its relatable characters and familiar scenarios, it appealed widely to the public.
Moreover, the NBC show became a cultural staple of the era and even helped define Seattle's global identity in the 1990s.
Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frasier Crane and David Hyde Pierce as Dr. Niles Crane in the FRASIER episode, "Ham Radio." Original broadcast was April 22, 1997, season 4, episode 18.From the major influence of the sitcom at the time, also known as the "Frasier Effect," to its lasting impact on audiences, the TV show also received major awards, including multiple wins for Pierce.
The role earned him his first Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1995, recognizing his work for Frasier’s second season.
In a later interview following his win, he recalled the experience of receiving his first Emmy and admitted that the overwhelming happiness and excitement of his achievement made it difficult to fully savor the moment.

“There’s so much suspense and you’re so nervous,” he told the Chicago Tribune. “And you make your speech, you have no idea what you said. And when you go off the stage, all you feel is a sense of relief. You don’t feel like an Emmy winner, you just feel relieved.”
Moreover, he also mentioned how special the recognition was because his family was there to witness the milestone.
“They’re all proud and happy, and that makes me proud and happy,” he furthered.
Three years later, he took home his second win for the same category at the 50th Primetime Emmy Awards. This was following the fourth season of the sitcom.
In 1999, Pierce secured his third Emmy for Best Supporting Actor, and his fourth and final win in the category came in 2004, for Frasier’s 11th and final season.
Beyond the iconic NBC sitcom, Pierce also thrived on Broadway and won a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Lieutenant Frank Cioffi in Curtains.

Where is ‘Fire Country’ Filmed?
Fire Country has become a bona fide hit on CBS for the past four years, focusing on the real-life Cal Fire (California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection) and Cal Fire's prison camps programs, which see inmates serving time by helping firefighters on calls.
The drama takes place in Northern California, focusing on the small town of Edgewater. While the character chaos and firehouse drama play a pivotal part in Fire Country, so do the fires that Station 42 tackles.
In fact, Season 3 of Fire Country ended with one of the show's most devastating fires, which burned down Three Rock. The Zabel Ridge fire, as it was called, also saw Station 42 lose one of their own: Vince Leone (Billy Burke).
Since Edgewater is located in Northern California, many of those fires are forest fires, giving fans a glimpse of the beautiful landscape surrounding Edgewater.
Fire Country features many outdoor scenes, raising the question of whether the show is actually filmed in Northern California.
The answer to that is no. Fire Countryisn’t filmed in California at all.
According to People magazine, the CBS hit drama films in Vancouver, British Columbia. Fire Country creator and star Max Thieriot (Bode) feels it is the perfect fit to represent Northern California.
Related: Where Is ‘Virgin River’ Filmed?
“Canada goes through more than their fair share of fires. I know last year was wild and very difficult. Certainly, something that has been in a lot of people’s minds these days,” he shared.
Fire Country is based loosely on Thieriot’s upbringing in Northern California, in the town of Occidental.
The Vancouver villages of Anmore and Fort Langley create the fictional town of Edgewater. Exterior shots for Station 42 are, in fact, the real-life Fire Station of Anmore. Interior shots are done on a soundstage, but anything with a hint of the outside is at the Anmore station.
View this post on InstagramSpeaking of interior shots for places like the fire station, the Leone home, and Smokey’s, they were all filmed at the Vancouver Film Studios. The location and film studio have also been used in shows like The X-Files, Supernatural,Riverdale, Once Upon a Time, and Smallville.
Fire Country airs Fridays at 9/8c on CBS.

1972 Classic No. 1 Hit Became an Iconic Breakup Anthem
It wasn't love at first sight on the charts, but when Roberta Flack's ballad "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was crowned the No. 1 song on the charts three years after its release, it became a timeless breakup anthem.
"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was originally a folk song written in 1957 by Evan MacColl for Peggy Seeger, who later became his third wife. At the time, MacColl was still married to Jean Newlove.
Throughout the 1960s, it was recorded by many pop and folk singers, including the Kingston Trio, We Five, Gordon Lightfoot and The Chad Mitchell Trio, but it didn't become a major international hit until Flack made her own version. The 1972 version of the ballad won Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards, as well as crowned the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 single of that year.
Flack released the song in 1969 for her debut album, First Take, for Clint Eastwood's Play Misty for Me, specifically the love scene between Eastwood and actress Donna Mills. The singer knew the song from the Joe & Eddie cover, which was released in 1963 for their album, Coast to Coast. "When you express your feelings about the first time you ever see a great love, you don't rush the story," she told Songwriter Universe in 2020.
Flack was born in North Carolina and grew up in Virginia with her parents, Laron Flack, a jazz pianist and U.S. Veterans Administration draftsman and Irene Flack, a church organist and choir director. Her introduction to music happened at church, where she played the piano and sang. At 15 years old, she won a full scholarship to Howard University, becoming one of the youngest students to ever enroll there and eventually became the assistant conductor for the university choir. In college, she met Donny Hathaway, another musician who would eventually become her collaborator.
Before becoming a professional singer-songwriter, Flack taught in many middle schools in the Washington, D.C. area. In the summer of 1968, she performed at a benefit concert and caught the attention of Les McCann, who helped her audition and sign with Atlantic Records. The jazz and R&B singer released eight studio albums in the span of 10 years, including her hits "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," "Killing Me Softly With His Song" and "Feel Like Makin' Love."

In total, she released 17 studio albums, with her most recent being Let It Be Roberta in 2012. When she was 80 years old, Flack recorded "Running" for the closing credits for the 2018 documentary 3100: Run and Become. She continued to perform into her 80s until she was diagnosed with ALS and could no longer sing. She died on Feb. 24, 2025, of cardiac arrest on the way to a hospital in New York City. She was 88 years old.
Though she had multiple hit songs and records throughout her career, nothing will ever top "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face."
"I wish more songs I had chosen had moved me the way that one did," she admitted to The Telegraph in 2015. "I’ve loved every song I’ve recorded, but that one was pretty special."
Country Star Forced to Cancel Headlining Show Amid Safety Concerns: ‘I Pissed off Plenty of People’
For the first time ever in his music career, Zach Bryan has been forced to do something he didn’t want to do, and that is to cancel his headlining concert. On Friday, April 3, the country music star, 30, took to social media announcing that he had to pull out of his latest show as part of his With Heaven On Tour due to inclement weather conditions.
On Instagram, the “Pink Skies” singer-songwriter revealed that his stadium show, scheduled for tonight at the H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, Oklahoma, would not go on as planned. Although heartbroken that he’s unable to perform for his fans, Bryan cited the reason for the cancellation is due to a ‘threat of extreme and dangerous weather.’ But he insisted that the choice not to play music for the fans was not necessarily up to him.
View this post on Instagram“Fellow Oklahomans,” Bryan began, directing his message to fans and ticket holders as well as those from his hometown, “I am being forced by my team to cancel the show tonight due to the threat of extreme and dangerous weather. I’ve never canceled a show in my life, but I unfortunately don’t have a choice in the matter.”
He Said He Hasn’t Canceled a Show in Five Years“…. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” he added in his note, which also includes the caption. “In five years of touring, I’ve never cancelled a headlining show. I pissed off plenty of people this morning trying to ‘play anyway.’ If I had ANY say in this, things would be different. I apologize, and I love all of ya.’”
In addition to his personal message, the Oklahoma native added a screenshot of a text message, which provides more insight into the situation regarding the reasons behind the cancellation. In the text, the person on the other side speaking to Bryan insists there is no other option than to pull out of the performance, adding that they had spoken with “meteorologists, and local authorities, who had concluded that if they went on with the show they would be 'putting people’s safety at risk.”
Fans who purchased a ticket to Bryan’s Friday show will receive an automatic refund issued through the point of purchase. Bryan’s show on Saturday, April 4, is still scheduled to go on as planned.

Jessica Alba Shows Off Rarely Seen Freckles in Micro Bikini Look
Jessica Alba, 44, just redefined the meaning of Good Friday.
The Honest Company founder just capped off "Q1" with a heavenly photo dump on Instagram, and it's chockful of Alba gold.
View this post on InstagramThe carousel kicks off with a shot of the Honey actress leaning against a wall with her right arm up. She’s wearing all black, with her sweetheart-neckline LBD paired with a stylish leather jacket. Her hair is down, expression chill, and makeup perfect (as always).
Next in the carousel is a video full of beachy images and outdoor activities, all soundtracked to Elton John's "Piano Man." It begins with Alba taking a selfie video, showing off a leopard-print-lined red-patterned bikini -- and showing off her torso freckles. She pairs her micro-kini with oval shades and the cutest custom-initialed sunhat.
“But there’s some place she’d rather be” is printed over the selfie video.
As the video continues, shots of the mom of three show her lounging by the water, watching her son surf, and getting caught in the rain. Golf, meditation, boating, sightseeing, close-ups of her two girls -- it all ensues.
A few more clicks into the roundup offer snaps of Alba and her new boyfriend, following her divorce from her ex-husband of 16 years, Cash Warren. Be sure you find (or have found) someone who looks at you the way Top Gun: MaverickactorDanny Ramirez looks at Alba.
Toward the middle of the photo dump, the Never Been Kissed star stuns with a completely makeup-free video. It looks like she maybe just received a facial or some sort of spa treatment, as she’s sitting on a table under what looks like a draping sheet.
The share ends with Alba and Ramirez snapping a gorgeous selfie and someone (possibly the boss lady herself) catching some shut-eye in first class.
It’s definitely worth a click or two before you slide into the holiday weekend.

A Celebrity Manicurist Says This Daily Habit Actually Weakens Nails Over Time
Similar to aestheticians, hairstylists and makeup artists, nail technicians basically moonlight as detectives because they have this uncanny ability to ascertain a terabyte of information about you the minute your appointment begins.
From your daily habits to the state of your health, nails can reveal a lot about your life. Whether you know it or not, you might be inadvertently sabotaging the health of your nails just by going about your day to day activities. To help understand some of the ways we all do this, Parade reached out to a professional nail tech to learn more about the biggest habits that damage nails.
Gina Edwardsis a celebrity manicurist and a brand ambassador for KISS Nails and imPRESS Mani. She loves experimenting with nail polish just like the rest of us, but she also understands that healthy nails are a necessary foundation for a fabulous manicure or pedicure.
Whether your nails have been looking a little lackluster lately or you simply want to avoid damaging them in the future, Edwards' tips below will help you treat your nails with the care that they deserve and keep them in tip-top shape.
Related: 9 Longest-Lasting Nail Polishes, Tested by Top Manicurists
The Daily Habit That Weakens Nails Over Time, According to a Celebrity ManicuristNails can be functional and fashionable, but Edwards cautions against using them in a utilitarian capacity too often.
"Using your nails as tools, such as opening soda cans, can place unnecessary pressure on the nail plate and free edge, leading to weakening over time," she explains.
We've all been there: You use your nails to open a jar or package, pry open a letter, peel of a label or loosen something, then it tears or folds over and you wince in pain, instantly regretting what you thought was a harmless action.
The moral of the story? Next time someone asks you if you have sharp or long nails because they're trying to crack something open, think twice before agreeing to it.
Related: 50 Best Nude Nail Ideas for a Chic, Understated Look
Why This Is Bad for Your NailsWhen you're in a pinch, your nails can double as a tool, but relying on them in this way isn't a good idea in the long term.
"This habit weakens the structure of the nail and often leads to breakage or splitting at the free edge," Edwards explains.
It's a slippery slope from there on out since the small signs of damage that you see initially can worsen over time.
"Once the nail begins to split, it can become a constant battle to repair, especially if the same habits continue," Edwards says.

What To Do for Your Nails InsteadA lot of times, mindless habits like using your nails to pry something open can lead to damage. It makes sense because we're all so busy all the time, and we don't always think before we act. But Edwards has a word of advice to avoid a potentially painful scenario for your nails.
"Being mindful of how you use your nails and avoiding unnecessary pressure on the tips can help maintain stronger, healthier nails," she says.

Subtle Signs Your Nails May Already Be DamagedSometimes, nail damage is pretty apparent, but at other times, it's more subtle. If you're not sure how to tell that your nails have already been damaged, Edwards has a few recommendations.
"The number one sign is sensitivity on the nail plate. Another common sign is when you feel a strand of hair catching along the side or edge of the nail. This usually indicates a small split or rough edge that should be addressed immediately to prevent further damage," she says.
Related: 9 Nail Colors That Look Especially Good on Women Over 60
Why Nails Become Weak or Brittle Over TimeSimilar to skin and hair, nails can change consistency over the course of your lifetime.
"Our nails are naturally made of keratin fibers that run vertically along the nail plate. When the nail is repeatedly stressed from movements in opposing directions, which happens often with everyday hand use, it can disrupt those fibers," Edwards says. "Over time, this constant stress can weaken the nail and make it more prone to brittleness and splitting."

3 Other Common Habits That Damage NailsGetty
In addition to using your nails as tools, there are several other ways to damage the health of your nails.
1. Nail bitingPicking at your nails can be a nervous habit or a manner of stress relief. Either way, it's not exactly great for your nails since it "weakens" them.
"They can become misshaped and weaker around the edges," Edwards says.
2. Exposure to harsh chemicals or waterWhen you're handling cleaning products on a regular basis, you're exposing your nails to harsh chemicals that can "strip the nail of its natural oils," Edwards says. Over time, this can lead to "brittleness, peeling and breakage."
Similarly, frequent exposure to water can also weaken nails.
"Water creates softness in the nails, leaving them vulnerable to bend easily," Edwards says.

3. Nail pickingSimilar to nail biting, nail picking can wear away at the strength of your nails and "break down the protective layers," per Edwards.
As a result, nails can become "vulnerable to peeling, splitting and breakage."

How To Strengthen Weak Nails at Home: 3 TipsIf the damage is already done and you're hoping to repair your weak nails at home, you have options. Edwards recommends the following tips.
1. Wear gloves while cleaningIf you can't avoid frequent exposure to harsh chemicals or water, Edwards says it's best to wear waterproof gloves while interacting with these materials to shield your nails.
2. Use a product that targets nail damage"'Essie To The Rescue' is a great option. It seals the nails and helps improve signs of damage," Edwards says.

Where is ‘Sheriff’ Country Filmed?
Sheriff Countryhas become the breakout Friday night hit on CBS. The Fire Country spin-off has become a force in its own right among fans.
As Season 1 winds down, many fans have been wondering where Sheriff Country films, and whether it’s the same place asFire Country.
The answer is no: the two shows do not film in the same place, even though they are set in the same small town, Edgewater, California. In fact, neither of them even films in the same state the show is set in, or the same country, for that matter.
According to Good Housekeeping,Sheriff Country films in various cities in Ontario, Canada. Sheriff Country is primarily shot in the Greater Toronto area, focusing on the stunning views and landscape that give it a Northern California feel.
The main street area in Edgewater is shot in a small town called Milton, about 25 miles from Toronto. Meanwhile, the exterior shot of Mickey's house (Morena Baccarin) is from a real-life home in the town of Brampton, 30 minutes outside of Toronto.

Exterior shots are filmed in surrounding areas in Ontario, focused on bringing to life the small-town Northern California vibe featured on Sheriff Country. While many exterior shots are filmed in various parts of Canada, the interior shots are filmed on a soundstage.

As mentioned above, Fire Country may live in the same universe as Sheriff Country, but they do not film in the same area. Fire Country films in Vancouver, Canada, and surrounding areas, not Toronto.
That means when a cast member from one show is scheduled to appear on the other show, they are traveling for it.
Sheriff Country airs Fridays at 8/7c on CBS.
