Domino’s executive vice president Frank Garrido said of National Dairy Month and the chain’s latest deal, “Domino’s is committed to delivering delicious food at an unbeatable value, but that wouldn’t be possible without farmers across the country who work hard to produce the high-quality ingredients customers love.”

Garrido continued, “This National Dairy Month, we’re saying thank you to dairy farmers — and the customers who support them — by offering 50% off all menu-priced pizzas. Whether customers stick with their go-to order or feel inspired to cheese it up with a Wisconsin 6-Cheese, every pizza is half off, including our Specialty Pizzas and all six crust types.”

For most artists, a creative restart means a new label, and maybe new bandmates. For Mike D, (Michael Diamond) it meant walking into a studio he already shared with his kids and figuring out how to press record.

The Beastie Boys co-founder released his debut solo single 'Switch Up' in May, the first new music connected to any member of Beastie Boys since the group's final studio album, Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, in 2011. For fans who have waited since the death of Adam 'MCA' Yauch in 2012, the arrival of solo work from Mike D is a much bigger deal than just a standard release.

In a conversation withHanuman Welch on ALT CTRL Radio on Apple Music, Mike D described how the project began, and it hardly seems like the result of a grand plan. 'It was very, very much like family,' he said. 'We started at my, our home studio. I share a studio with Davis and Skylar, with my two sons.' He admitted he didn't know much about modern equipment. 'I'm dependent,' he said, laughing at his own predicament. 'I walk in there, I'm like... how do I press record? And they're like, Dad, we got you, don't worry.'

Skyler and Davis Diamond are the siblings behind the alternative act Very Nice Person, and their electronic-infused indie-dance-pop is, in Davis's own telling, part of what pulled their father back toward making music himself. Mike D described watching from the sidelines, keeping a mental catalog of their collaborators. 'I was kind of just always sort of making this mental note of like, oh, one day if I do something, it'd be cool to do something with this guy or do something with that person,' he told Welch. 'And then that ended up being the reality.'

'Switch Up,' produced by Skyler and Davis, blends UK jungle beats, and Lee 'Scratch' Perry-style sonic collage, somewhat of a departure from the Beastie Boys catalog and a clear indication that this isn't just a play for nostalgia. A second solo single, 'What We Got,' followed, and Mike D has since announced his first-ever UK and European headline shows, with dates beginning in London in June.

Beastie Boys broke commercially with 1986's Licensed to Ill, the Def Jam release that became the first rap album to top the Billboard 200. The group spent the following decades expanding hip-hop in their own creative style.

By his own account, he wasn't ready to step into the studio until his sons made it possible to do so on his own terms. 'It took me a minute before I started kind of like doing vocals, he told Welch, 'and what I did, I wasn't like completely sure of myself.' That hesitation is gone now. 'I'm ready,' he said. 'Put me in the ring, put me in the cipher, I love it.'

A late-’70s disco-funk anthem didn’t just light up dance floors. It helped launch an all-female family group into stardom.

Sister Sledge quickly became a standout singing group of the disco era, blending soulful harmonies with undeniable dancefloor energy. "He's The Greatest Dancer" helped cement their place in music history, turning them into one of the decade's most recognizable and beloved groups.

The vocal group was made up of four sisters: Debbie, Joni, Kim, and Kathy Sledge. The siblings hailed from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and were taught to sing by their grandmother, Viola Williams, a former lyric soprano opera singer, as reported by The Philadelphia Tribune.

“When we were very little, our grandmother, who played the piano and sang, used to take us up to the keyboard and say ‘sing.’ She’s the one who taught us how to properly use our voices,” recalled Kim. “She was a tough task master and taught us discipline. But we loved to sing so we didn’t mind at all.”

The group, which formed in 1971, performed at churches and community events, honing their performance and vocal skills. Seven years later, the sisters met with Chic founders Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, who took the group under their wing and revamped their image to reflect the disco era.

Rodgers and Edwards worked with the group to release their debut LP, We Are Family, which featured the hit songs "He's the Greatest Dancer," "Lost in Music," "Thinking of You," and "We Are Family."

"He's the Greatest Dancer" was the singing group's debut, released on February 3, 1979. The song was one of the first tunes to mention name brands, including Halston, Gucci, and Fiorucci, mainstays of the fashion worn during the disco era.

However, "He's The Greatest Dancer" was initially intended for legendary disco band Chic to record while Sister Sledge was slated to record one of Chic's best-selling singles. Kathy Sledge shared details of the switcharoo with Headliner Hub.

“[I Want Your Love]" was our song, and 'He’s the Greatest Dancer' was their song. At the last minute, they flipped it," she revealed.

The original lineup of Sister Sledge was altered in 1989 when Kathy left to pursue a solo career. Debbie, Joni, and Kim continued to perform as Sister Sledge.

According to the Billboard Database, "He's The Greatest Dancer" was the band's second-biggest hit, ranking at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. Surpassing it is "We Are Family," which hit No. 2.

Joni Sledge died in 2017. The band now primarily performs as "Sister Sledge featuring Sledgendary," featuring Debbie and her kids Camille Sledge, Thaddeus Sledge, David Sledge, and Tanya Tiet. Kathy continues to tour, while Kim primarily stays out of the spotlight.

Andy Griffith, the beloved star of the 1960s TV sitcomThe Andy Griffith Show and the ‘80s drama series Matlock, is being celebrated on what would have been his 100thbirthday.

The actor, who was born June 1, 1926, in Mount Airy, North Carolina, will be honored in his hometown 14 years after his death.

The official Mount Airy, NC Facebook page listed events that will take place in celebration of the late star’s birthday milestone. In addition to free movie screenings of Griffith’s films, there will be a new artifact unveiled at the Andy Griffith Museum. Mayor Jon Cawley will also dedicate June 1 as “Andy Griffith Day” in honor of the TV legend’s 100th birthday.

Griffith became a household name playing widowed sheriff Andy Taylor on his self-titled sitcom for eight seasons, from 1960 to 1968. Ron Howard played his son Opie Taylor on the series, which was set in the fictional town of Mayberry, North Carolina.

While he moved to Hollywood in the 1960s to produce The Andy Griffith Show, Griffith never strayed far from his hometown roots. In 1960, he told The San Francisco Examiner that he never wanted to lose his accent.

"Every so often, I take my wife, Barbara, and the youngsters back home to our farm in Manteo, NC, and just refresh myself," Griffith said, per MeTV. "Yep, that's what I do. I love going down home because everyone there is kin to one another in my area. Everyone is just wonderful to us. They act as though I'd never been away."

Howard credited Griffith for the Mayberry magic. In an essay for The New York Daily Newspublished following Griffith’s death at age 86, Howard recalled, “There was an honesty that Andy demonstrated. He could convey the humor, the foibles, the particulars of rural America without demeaning it.”

Howard noted that Griffith’s iconic career wasn’t limited to the CBS sitcom.

“Don’t forget about Face in the Crowd or his success on Broadway or his recording career and Matlock,” Howard recalled. "He did so much great work in TV and movies. Over seven decades.”

The acts are warmed up, the judges have been seated, and the buzzers are ready! We shall see if the hit NBC reality show will do anything special to commemorate the milestone, including appearances from some famous faces from seasons past. Regardless, the game is still the same for Season 21, as Simon Cowell, Mel B, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandeland host Terry Crews return to find the next big undiscovered talent. While much remains the same about the show from last season, AGT is throwing in a brand-new round this summer, as the “Judges’ Callback” will give a second chance for acts to make it through to the live shows and the endgame of the season.

It hasn’t truly felt like summer the past few years until we get Love Island back on our screens on a near-daily basis. Once again, we’ll be treated to a new group of sexy singles entering the Fijian Villa, looking for love (in what some would say, all the wrong places). Since its breakout season in 2024, the American version has become one of the hottest reality shows, helping put Peacock on the map as a bastion of unscripted TV. Ariana Madix will once again enter the Villa to lend her hosting skills, while the “Aftersun” after show will instead be hosted by Tefi Pessoa and Ciara Miller. The Summer House star will be using Love Island as a warm-up act for Dancing with the Stars this fall, which she’ll compete on alongside previous “Aftersun” host Maura Higgins.

Almost 70 years ago, The Executioners by John D. MacDonald lit up bookshelves. But you know the story by a different name, Cape Fear, due to the numerous film adaptations, with the most recent starring Robert DeNiro. Now, the terrifying tale makes its TV debut (outside of a classic episode of The Simpsons, of course) on Apple TV. This time, it’s Javier Bardem whose criminal seeks revenge for the married couple who helped put him away (played by Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson) at any cost. Whether it be strapping himself to the underside of a car or stalking a family on a houseboat, the Oscar winner’s portrayal will be sure to keep everyone in titular terror.

While it seems like the world has moved on from vampires post-Twilight and True Blood, AMC has very much proven that’s not the case. Since 2022, the network’s adaptation of Anne Rice’sInterview with the Vampire has titillated viewers, making a meal out of the emotional and complicated romance between Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Lestat (Sam Reid). The show depicting the lives of immortal creatures has taken on a new life in Season 3, changing its title to The Vampire Lestat after Rice’s second book in her iconic series. It’s been almost a year since The Summer I Turned Pretty came to a close. And while a feature film is on the way, there is still a hole in many people’s hearts to be filled with dramatic, passionate teenage romance. And Amazon hopes they found a proper fill-in with their new Prime Video series Every Year After. Based on the novel Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, the show takes place over the course of six unforgettable summers, as Persephone Fraser (Sadie Soverall) and Sam Florek (Matt Cornett) form a complicated relationship that both develops and disintegrates. Helmed by showrunner Amy B. Harris (Sex and the City, The Carrie Diaries), I couldn’t help but wonder: Has Amazon found its next YA hit?

House of the Dragon Season 3 (HBO): June 21 Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen in 'House of the Dragon'

It’s truly surreal to think Game of Thrones premiered 15 years ago, considering how much the land of Westeros and its characters have had an iron grip on pop culture since then. While the original show ended in 2019, it has had a couple of successors, most notably House of the Dragon. Season 3, which will serve as the penultimate season of the HBO prequel, will continue to stir up the tension in the Targaryen civil war, as Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy) and Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and look to gain and maintain the Iron Throne, respectively. What will the kingdom look like with Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney) vacating the throne? How much more blood will be shed, bodies burned by dragon fire? Will Daemon (Matt Smith) ever leave Harrenhal? The answers to these should be sweeter and more pleasing than a helping of milk of the poppy.

Since 2022, we have relied on sitting down one summer day in late June to binge the sumptuous meal that is The Bear. And indeed, the Emmy-winning culinary “comedy” is back for a fifth course on FX and Hulu on June 25. But things are left up in the air more than ever, with Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) leaving “Beef” behind, in the trusting hands of Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). Perhaps the superstar chef already knows what guest star Jamie Lee Curtis has teased: That Season 5 of The Bear may be its last. If that’s the case, we should expect another 10-episode batch of intense family drama, high-stress kitchen scenes, and all-star guest appearances from Brie Larson to John Mulaney to Bob Odenkirk to the late Rob Reiner. Regardless of whether this is our last time seeing our ragtag group of Chicago restaurateurs, getting to check in with them again has us eagerly saying, “Yes, chef!”

Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness (HBO): June 26 Larry David in 'Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness'

On July 4, America will celebrate its 250th birthday. Leave it to Larry David to make a party all about himself. Two years after Curb Your Enthusiasm went off the air, the legendary comedian is back on HBO, giving his own take on American history in Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. The seven-episode series gets David back to his sketch roots from his time on SNL, taking a variety of cracks at famous moments across the quarter-millennium history of the U.S. The show should feature plenty of famous faces from Curb Your Enthusiasm, and has the backing (though begrudgingly, if you ask them) from Barack and Michelle Obama.

He may have nearly three dozen No. 1 songs to his name, but even Paul McCartney doesn't see the musical genius in everything he's put out into the world.

McCartney earned 20 No. 1s with The Beatles, and went on to earn twelve others through collaborations, his follow-up band, Wings, and as a solo artist, earning him the honor of having the most No. 1s overall.

With so many top songs, it's hard to imagine anything he's touched being considered bottom of the barrel, but there is at least one work from his extensive discography that he considers to be "f--cking awful."

The British icon once opened up about his music of a lesser caliber in an interview with Q Magazine that was published back in 2015, where he named 1971's "Bip Bop," from Wings' album Wild Life, as the worst song he's ever written.

Alongside McCartney, his wife, Linda McCartney, and Moody Blues alumn Denny Laine performed in the band, with the couple cowriting the track in question.

"The lyrics are f--cking awful,” he told the publication, going on to sing the line, "Bip bop, bip bip bop, bip bop, bip bip band, dig your bottom dollar, put it in your hand."

It may sound a little simplistic, but producer Trevor Horn once told the legendary musician that it was one of his favorites. "I can’t hate it that much, can I?" McCartney quipped. "There must have been a reason I liked it in the first place.”

And at least some of his fans agree—while it's certainly not the top-streamed of the band's tracks, it's not the least, either, with the same album's "Mumbo" and "I Am Your Singer" each raking in less plays on Spotify.

For decades, she’s been a familiar face on television screens and country radio, and is still busy with projects to this day. It’s entirely possible she’s found the fountain of youth and is just not sharing.

A Houston native, Hartman Black rose to fame on the classic primetime soap Knots Landing, appearing from 1982 to 1986 as Ciji, a rock singer who (spoiler alert) was killed off in Season 4, only to be brought back as another character, Cathy, after her onscreen death sparked such fan outrage. Meanwhile, she was stoking a music career that kicked off with her self-titled debut album in 1976.

In December 1990, Hartman Black met Clint Black backstage at his New Year’s Eve concert in her hometown. According toThe Boot, the two hit it off immediately and were married 10 months later on Oct. 20, 1991. What followed was — and is — a beautiful love story and one of country music's most successful husband-and-wife partnerships.

Their signature duet, “When I Say I Do,” for Clint’s D’lectrified album topped Billboard’s country chart in 1999, crossed over on the Hot 100 (where it peaked at No. 31), and earned the couple a Grammy nomination. It’s crazy now to think that Hartman Black initially resisted the idea of singing with her husband. 

“He says, ‘I want you to sing it with me,’” she recalled to Country Living. “And I went, ‘Oh, no. No.’” Clint eventually convinced her, saying, “Who else am I gonna sing this with? It's about us.’”

The duet launched a string of collaborations, including "Easy for Me to Say" (2001), "You Still Get to Me" (2016), and "Til the End of Time" (2020). The film premiered this month and is now available on demand.

What Major Holidays Are in June 2026?

June brings about Pride Month 2026, which honors the LGBTQ+ community and uplifts queer people and their struggles everywhere. While it's a celebration, it's also a time to remember the history and obstacles of the past and present, with days like the Stonewall Riots Anniversary on June 28 and Pulse Night of Remembrance on June 12. 

The Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha is in June (it varies from year to year because it's based on the moon). The holiday honors the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah's command.

Let's also not forget Juneteenth, which falls on June 19, 2026. This day marks the anniversary of the day Union Major-General Gordon Granger read the Emancipation Proclamation to formerly enslaved people who were now free in Texas on June 19, 1865. This came more than two years after President Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, but the news didn't travel to all enslaved people and wasn't enforced.

Euphoria is officially ending after its third season, HBO has confirmed. This comes after months of speculation that this could be the last time we see Rue, Cassie, Maddie and friends. Now, it's official.

After seven years, three seasons and 26 episodes, the show's creator, writer and director Sam Levinson announced on Popcast, The New York Times’ music podcast, that the show will not return for a fourth series.  “In terms of the story that we set out to tell, which is a story about addiction and its consequences, this feels like the end to me,” he explained.

Speaking with Joe Coscarelli in an interview with the Timesbefore the latest season premiered, Levinson admits he writes “every season like it’s the last,” and hesitated when asked about a fourth season. “I don’t know,” Levinson replied. “As of right now, all I want to do is hang out with my wife and kids and read some Elmore Leonard and watch ‘Mrs. Miniver’ again.”

The news that this is it for the show won't be a surprise to anyone who follows the cast of Euphoria. Zendaya has previously stated that she believed the show would not continue after the third series. Per Variety, the Dune actress told Drew Barrymore on her chat show that she believed the show would only run for three seasons. “That closure is coming," she told Barrymore.

Levinson explained to The New York Times that the show’s story is “a tragic one in the end — but it’s also the truth.”

Guests will wind through quirky roadside attractions like the Museum of Cryptids and the Werewolf Museum, building up the story world of Jasper Bunyan—an eccentric entrepreneur who transformed the forgotten quarry into a tourist trap.
