‘Euphoria’: Zendaya Reveals if Season 3 Will Be the Last of the HBO Show

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 3:09pm

In 2019, Euphoria debuted with Rue (Zendaya) immediately showing interest in Jules (Hunter Schafer). However, the high schoolers' relationship would be in trouble because of Rue's grief and addiction.

The HBO show is returning for a third season after a four-year break. All of the characters are now out of school. The star revealed if there will be a season 4.

Zendaya Says 'Euphoria' Season 3 Is the Last

The show's star went to The Drew Barrymore Show on April 6. The host asked her if it will be the last season.

"I think so, yeah," Zendaya, 29, answered. "Closure's coming," she later added. Sharon Stone recorded a video for Zendaya and called her "fabulous" in the new season. Stone plays an executive at Warner Bros., and Lexi (Maude Apatow) works for her.

"I think Euphoria, it cracked my heart open," Zendaya later said. "Rue taught me so much about life." She said empathy and redemption were important lessons she learned while playing the character.

Hopefully, that means Rue could overcome her addiction in the final season and make amends. The trailer shows her driving across the border transporting illegal substances, then getting caught.

Nate (Jacob Elordi) and Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) get married after Rue revealed their affair. But Maddy (Alexa Demie) isn't out of the picture. She reunites with Cassie, which surprises Nate. Nate also seems to work for dangerous people. Jules continues to make art and works as a sugar baby.

The news of this being the end of the series isn't surprising. Multiple stars from the show have moved on to bigger projects. Creator Sam Levinson also released The Idol in between seasons.

The Subtle Makeup Error That Emphasizes Fine Lines

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 3:09pm

You've probably noticed that the makeup techniques that worked beautifully in your twenties and thirties suddenly seem to be working against you. Foundation that used to smooth your complexion now settles into creases you didn't even know you had. Powder that set everything perfectly in the past now makes your skin look flat and dry. And that full-coverage routine you relied on for flawless skin? It's somehow making you look older, but not wiser (at least when it comes to putting on makeup!).

Well, here's the reality of what's actually happening: as skin matures, it becomes drier and thinner, which changes how makeup sits on the surface. Products that used to blend seamlessly now cling to texture. Formulas designed to stay put all day can settle into fine lines and actually draw attention to what you're trying to minimize. And many women over 50 make outdated application mistakes without realizing it.

Celebrity makeup artists who work with mature skin daily see these mistakes constantly, and they're eager to set the record straight. Some of the most widespread makeup "rules" for aging skin are actually making things worse. We talked to artists who've worked with everyone from Chelsea Handler to Quinta Brunson to find out what subtle errors emphasize fine lines—and what to do instead.

This Beauty Mistake Can Emphasize Fine Lines, Makeup Artists Explain

The experts identify several culprits, but they all circle back to one core issue: using too much of the wrong thing.

Molly R. Stern, celebrity makeup artist who's worked with Chelsea Handler and Maya Rudolph, gets right to it. "Too much makeup will always emphasize fine lines," she tells Parade.

Her solution? "Women should spend time stimulating their skin—getting the blood flowing, feeding it with plumping nutrients.” She says this will give your skin a quenched glow, and bonus: you can use less foundation.

Renée Loiz, who works with celebrities such as Quinta Brunson and Uzo Aduba, sees a specific combination causing problems: full coverage foundation combined with too much powder. “It can settle into fine lines and make the skin look dry and textured," she explains.

She recommends a tinted moisturizer or lightweight foundation with a light dusting of powder only where needed to achieve "healthy, luminous skin."

As far as the issues with too much foundation, celebrity makeup artist Jenepher Reynolds, who's worked with Norah Jones and Harry Connick Jr., identifies texture as the enemy. She’s very much against matte formulas on mature skin.

"As the skin becomes drier over time, matte products can grab onto fine lines and make the skin look flat and dehydrated," she says. "Instead, look for textures with a natural or slightly radiant finish. They bring life back into the skin and help soften the look of lines."

The consensus? It's not about avoiding specific products entirely—it's about choosing better formulas and using less.

4 Other Makeup Techniques That Can Make Wrinkles Worse

Beyond foundation and powder, several other application mistakes can age your face.

1. Shimmer placement

Shimmer placement trips people up constantly. "There is nothing wrong with a bit of glow, but it is important to understand what shimmer does: it draws attention to the surface of the skin beneath it,” Reynolds says.

She adds that if the skin has texture, shimmer will reflect it right back. A soft luminosity is much more forgiving and gives you that fresh look without highlighting what you are trying to soften.

2. Not using color correction under the eyes

The under-eye area requires a completely different approach than the rest of your face. "Most of us need a touch of colour correction first," Reynolds says. "Peach works well for blue/purple tones, and a soft orange helps neutralize deeper brown discoloration." And, as an added bonus, when you correct first, you use less concealer!

3. "Dragging" products across the skin

Application technique matters just as much as product choice. Reynolds is specific about this: "Press and tap product into the skin with your finger or a brush. Avoid dragging." This tip allows you to keep everything in place and give you a more natural finish.

4. Using a lot of heavy cream formulas

It’s worth noting that Avital of Puzzle Makeup (and whose clientele in the past has included Sheryl Sandberg) challenges conventional wisdom entirely.

"One of the most common pieces of advice women over 40 receive is to ditch powder and switch to cream formulas. And most follow it without question," she says, pointing out that heavy cream products can move, crease and break down throughout the day, and settle directly into fine lines. The result? Emphasizing exactly what you're trying to minimize.

Her take? Use the right formulas for mature skin, whether powder or light cream foundations, blushes, bronzers or shadows. Stay away from heavy cream formulas that shift and sink into lines as the day goes on. This is in keeping with all the other advice—less product, fewer problems.

The makeup artists share that it's most important to start with skin prep (a plump, prepared canvas in the first step), and then use less product with better techniques.

As far as foundation application, Avital recommends specific tools and methods.

"Dispense a small amount—one pump or dime-sized—and apply using a wedge sponge, blending outward from the center of your face in gentle stroking motions. No pressing, no scrubbing," she says. Pro tip: start with less product and build only where you need it.

“The wedge sponge's thin side applies the formula thicker—the thick side applies it thinner," she adds. "Use whichever gives you your preferred finish."

For under-eyes, Reynolds has a specific setting technique, recommending, "Opt for a light mist of setting spray to set the under eyes. It sets the product while keeping the skin looking hydrated and smooth."

Reynolds sums up the entire philosophy perfectly: "At the end of the day, it is not about adding more. It is about choosing better textures, using less product, and placing it with intention.”

She says this is what makes the skin look fresher, softer and more like you. And isn't that what we all want?

A little bit of emotional strength goes a long way in life. While we may have our plans, life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Remaining adaptable is half the battle. Although everyone handles stress in different ways, four zodiac signs stand out as particularly adept at navigating turbulence with grace. Their heightened emotional resilience helps them stay rooted and grounded, leading to greater success, self-reliance, and resourcefulness. They understand that after every storm, the sun will shine again. With this faith, they don’t give up; instead, they know when to push forward and when to lean back.

Scorpio — Emotional Resilience Through Transformation

Scorpio is known as the most transformative zodiac sign. They are dedicated to their ultimate goals and highly focused on their desires. When obstacles arise, their obsession with achieving their aims only intensifies. As a water sign, Scorpios are intuitive; they hold on to their visions, seeing beyond what is immediately in front of them. They believe that the passion in their hearts can manifest through determined effort. With pure soul, grit, and determination, a Scorpio won't give up on what matters most. They will seek alternative solutions, contemplate potential paths, and push harder to reach the finish line.

Cancer — Emotional Resilience Through Deep Feeling

Cancer is known for being sensitive to dramatic mood swings. While this heightened sensitivity can be challenging, it is also the source of their emotional resilience. Ruled by the Moon, which guides us through the cosmos with emotional intelligence, Cancers understand that life is constantly changing and evolving. Although they tend to be security-conscious and prefer stability, they're equally adaptable and know when to initiate change. Life can be tough, but with their sturdy shell, no one can silence a Cancer who yearns for more.

Virgo — Emotional Resilience Through Quiet Strength

With elegance, refinement, and class, Virgos persevere. Their detail-oriented minds are adept at noticing when something or someone is amiss, which can sometimes lead to feelings of anxiety and overthinking. However, their heightened pattern recognition serves as a crucial tool for emotional resilience. While their tendency to intellectualize emotions can create blocks, it can also be a saving grace at times. When they push beyond their current limited feelings and consider the broader picture of what they want for themselves, they ultimately make choices that reflect their strengths rather than their fears.

Capricorns are not only committed to their ambitious goals, but they also know how to regulate tense emotions during challenging times. Others often look to them as a source of stability. Their wise advice and mature perspective make them easy to trust. In their mind's eye, they can clearly visualize what it feels like to attain their desires. Once they lock in this feeling, nothing can hold them back, not even when reality suggests otherwise. Climbing any mountain to reach their proverbial pot of gold, this earth sign demonstrates emotional strength in a quiet, unflashy manner.

Who Won 'Jeopardy' Today? (April 6, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 3:00pm

There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.

Here's a spoiler-filled recap of who won Jeopardy! today, plus the answer to Final Jeopardy.

🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬

Who won Jeopardy today?Jamie Ding

No surprise here! Jamie Ding won his 17th consecutive game! Despite missing the Final Jeopardy!, which kept him just shy of the $500,000 milestone, he brought his total winnings to $494,012.

Who are the Jeopardy contestants today?Maggie Faucher

Maggie Faucher is a research assistant from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mikey Hlebasko

Mikey Hlebasko is a sales operations director from Marietta, Georgia.

Jamie Ding

Jamie Ding, a bureaucrat and law student from Lawrenceville, New Jersey, entered as a 16-day champion with $462,401 in total winnings. Jamie started a bit slow in the Jeopardy round, but found his rhythm quickly in Double Jeopardy, finding both Daily Doubles within the first four clues and picking up a combined five figures from them to cruise to a runaway.

He dominated the buzzer once again, finishing with a 45.61% first-in rate (26 out of 57 clues) and racking up 32 correct responses against just 1 incorrect.

What was Final Jeopardy today?

Final Jeopardy today was in the category "Geographic Missing Links."

The clue: "At least since 1890 plans have existed to link these 2 islands across the North Channel; a 2021 estimate ranged around $450 billion."

The answer: What are Great Britain and Ireland?

This one proved to be quite difficult, as all three contestants missed it, marking a rare triple stumper in Final Jeopardy. Ding had $44,200 going in, wagered $12,589, and incorrectly answered, "What are Big and Little Diomede?"

Fauchner wagered $1,400 of $7,400 with the wrong answer of "What are Australia and Tasmania?" while Hlebasko wagered $2,316 of $3000 with the incorrect guess of, "What are Iceland and Greenland?"

Ding's conservative wager relative to his massive lead preserved the win comfortably, even with all three players getting it wrong. The game was a double runaway heading into Final, so he was never truly in danger.

Ding will be back tomorrow to shoot for win number 18.

‘Dateline’ Dissects Shocking Double Murder Orchestrated by IRS Agent and His Au Pair

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:53pm

Christine Banfield and Joseph Ryan were two unsuspecting strangers who were murdered in an elaborate plot that involved a catfish set-up, a fetish website, and a secret affair.

Their murders, the subject of the April 3 episode of NBC’s long-running Dateline, dissect how Banfield’s husband, Brendan Banfield, and the family’s au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhaes, orchestrated the brutal deaths of the ICU pediatric nurse and a man falsely accused of murder.

On February 24, 2023, Christine Banfield and Joseph Ryan were murdered inside the home she shared with her husband, Brendan Banfield, in Northern Virginia.

Initially, Brendan told police that after his au pair, Juliana Peres Magalhaes, called him just after he left for work to tell him that an unfamiliar car was in the driveway, he raced home to find Ryan kneeling over his wife after he had fatally stabbed her. In response, Brenden said he shot and killed Ryan, and Peres Magalhaes admitted to shooting him as well.

However, what actually happened that fateful morning was a sinister plot constructed by Brendan and Peres Magalhaes to get rid of Christine and frame Ryan for her murder.

As months passed, Brendan and Peres Magalhaes’ accounts of what happened in the bedroom that February morning didn’t add up.

There were two 911 calls placed, one of which was the call for police assistance, but it was the first call made 13 minutes prior that fed police suspicions. During that call, the person didn’t say anything and only remained on the line for a few seconds before hanging up.

“A person was in an injured state, and yet it still took 13 minutes” for the other call to be placed, the prosecutor in the case said. “It made no sense.”

Brendan’s claims were also questioned due to his saying that Ryan refused to drop the knife when confronted, despite Brendan having a gun pointed at him.

Eight months later, Peres Magalhaes, who confessed to her role in shooting Ryan, was arrested and charged with murder in October 2023. Close to a year later, and due to the completion of a blood pattern analysis that determined he held the knife inside the bedroom, Brendan was also arrested.

Shortly after his arrest, where he pleaded not guilty to murder, Peres Magalhaes decided to come clean and tell the truth about how and why Christine Banfield and Joseph Ryan were killed.

During a four-hour statement, Peres Magalhaes revealed that she and Brendan were having an affair. While they were in a relationship, he told her he wanted to kill his wife, referring to her as “lazy” and “not a good mother,” according to Peres Magalhaes.

To carry out the murder, Brendan and Peres Magalhaes decided to seek out an unsuspecting third party by catfishing them via a fetish website.

The two created a fake profile on FetLife.com by using Christine’s laptop and posing as “Annastasia9,” a fake persona who wanted to act out violent sexual fantasies with a stranger.

Ryan interacted with the profile and set up a meeting with “Annastasia9,” not realizing that Brendan and Peres Magalhaes were setting him up to be framed and ultimately leading him to his death.

Through her cooperation, Peres Magalaes pled guilty to the lesser crime of manslaughter and agreed to testify against Brendan, receiving 10 years in prison.

As for Brendan, who has maintained his innocence, in February 2026, three years after his wife was murdered, he was convicted of aggravated murder.

He will be sentenced in May 2026, where prosecutors are seeking life in prison.

Dateline airs Fridays on NBC and is available to stream on Hulu.

Artemis II Officially Goes Farthest Humans Have Ever Traveled Beyond Planet Earth

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:47pm

On April 1, 2026, NASA successfully launched the Artemis II, marking the first time in 54 years that NASA has sent astronauts to the moon. Just a few days later, the crew has already broken the record for the farthest humans have ever traveled beyond planet Earth.

On April 6, Artemis II officially surpassed Apollo 13's record of the furthest distance humans have ever gone beyond Earth. That previous record, which was set in 1970, was 248,655 miles. Artemis II is on track to surpass that by several thousand miles, ultimately reaching a a maximum distance from Earth of 252,760 miles, according to NASA.

Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen communicated the message from space, saying, "From the cabin of Integrity here as we surpass the furthest distance humans have ever traveled from planet Earth. We do so in honoring the extraordinary efforts and feats of our predecessors in human space exploration. We will continue our journey even further into space before Mother Earth succeeds in pulling us back to everything that we hold dear."

However, Hansen doesn't want the Artemis II crew to maintain this record for long but rather hopes that space exploration will continue to grow in the near future, with others going even further.

"We, most importantly, choose this moment to challenge this generation and the next to make sure this record is not long lived," he said.

This update from Artemis II comes on the heels of the crew sharing four new photos of Earth from space.

Artemis II is currently on its 10-day lunar flyby mission, and the crew is scheduled to return home on April 10. Although the crew will go to the moon, the astronauts will not be landing there. In part, Artemis II's importance is related to various operations tests, which will hopefully allow for future missions to the moon.

Sabrina Carpenter's Star-Studded Music Video Sparks Buzz With 1 Million Views in Less Than Three Hours

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:47pm

Sabrina Carpenter is back with a new music video for “House Tour,” her third official video from her latest album, Man’s Best Friend.

Stunning in lingerie alongside Vanity Fair’s new cover star, Margaret Qualley, and Outer Banks’ actress Madelyn Cline, the beginning of the video shows Carpenter stepping out of a pink van and leading the actresses into a vintage-decorated house.

After drinking wine, jumping into the pool and trying on different outfits, police officers enter the home. Just in the nick of time, Carpenter and her friends drive away in the pink van. As they pull away, it’s revealed that the back of the van has tin can garland tied to it, along with the words “Just Robbed a House.”

In classic Carpenter fashion, the video ends with Carpenter running over a man. Qualley and Carpenter shrug it off and drive away.

“It’s a thing, someone has to die every video,” Carpenter said at the end of her “Tears” music video.

Following the release of the music video, Carpenter took to Instagram to express her gratitude to Qualley and Cline for making her vision come to life.

“I’m so grateful to my beautiful brilliant partner in crime [Margaret Qualley] for directing this adventure of a video with me, and of course to my darling [Madelyn Cline] for bringing her excellence and charm to every frame,” Carpenter said. “We shot on vista vision in the Hollywood hills very late into the night.. this was a very ambitious hardworking crew i am incredibly grateful for.”

View this post on Instagram

Qualley also posted on Instagram about the new video, captioning it as “I love you guys.” Carpenter responded in the comments, saying, “i love you Margaret.”

The “House Tour” video has fans raving and has gone viral almost immediately, with over one million views on YouTube in the first three hours of its release.

“i’m so glad that we have a superstar who still makes great videos non stop,” one fan commented on YouTube.

Another fan noticed a callback to one of her previous videos, “HER SHOE FROM TEARS MV STILL BEING BLOODY YESSS.”

Carpenter’s “House Tour” video comes on the heels of her recent tour in South America. The singer headlined major festivals like Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and concluded the tour in Colombia on March 22. Carpenter is set to perform at Coachella in Indio, Calif., on April 10 and 17. In the meantime, check out her latest music video here:

“Henry’s corner of the world 🩵,” Richie Grainge captioned a video she shared on both Instagram and TikTok this week. The video starts out with a shot of the bedroom under construction — the floors are covered in paper, there are a few paint samples painted on the walls and there are construction materials lined up and ready to go.

The video then flips to footage of the completed nursery. Modern decor includes a fluffy white light fixture on the ceiling, floor-to-ceiling off-white curtains and clear acrylic book shelves attached to the wall.

Drew Barrymore Recalls ‘80s Makeout With Amanda Peet at Carrie Fisher’s House — Matthew Perry Was There Too

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:36pm

Drew Barrymore is reminiscing about her wild ’80s days — including a makeout session with Amanda Peet at Carrie Fisher’s house, with Matthew Perry also in the mix.

"I miss the '80s. By the way, speaking of, did we make out at Carrie Fisher's house?" Barrymore asked Peet during an April 6 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. Peet said she believes it happened, unlocking more memories for Barrymore.

"It's so nice to see you again. I feel like Matthew Perry was there," Barrymore said. After Peet confirmed, Barrymore added, "Yes, it was at Carrie Fisher's house. Listen, again, life used to be so much more fun."

The mix of Perry, Peet, and Barrymore was par for the course at one of Fisher's legendary parties. During a 2018 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Barrymore reflected on some of Fisher's "wild" gatherings.

"I loved going to her house. It was like a hacienda-type, beautiful home off Coldwater Canyon — very Los Angeles," she said. "She had a very open home. I'd go there for parties and visit her office during the day. It was classic Spanish California — sunshine, orange groves, and creativity. I'm proud to say I came and went, because I feel like a lot of people stayed. I remember Garry Shandling being weird in the driveway. And I was like, 'I'm so glad I'm going home! I'm so glad I'm surviving these kind of nights.'"

Sheila Weller pulled back the curtain of Fisher's parties in her 2019 book Carrie Fisher: A Life on the Edge. Speaking with actress Terri Garr, Garr recalled how Fisher and musician Paul Simon would host intimate gatherings: “They’d hire a gourmet chef to give us lessons,” she said, “and we’d all watch him cook and try to learn how, but mostly we’d just drink a lot of wine.”

Deals were also made at Fisher's parties. Albert Brooks shared, “Because I met Meryl Streep at a party at Carrie’s house and I had just written Defending Your Life, I said to her, ‘You wouldn’t be interested in playing the lead in my movie, would you?’” Streep went on to star opposite Brooks in the 1991 comedy.

'70s Rocker Swears by This Controversial Diet, but Experts Warn Against It

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:19pm

There is quite a lot you could rely on Bruce Springsteen, 76, for. His staunch and steady political views, his ability to hype up a crowd, and his 110 percent effort in a show are all things he's been reliably known for, as well as his unflinching frankness. In 2024, when The Times asked the legendary rocker how he stays so fit and energetic, and if it was due to his rumored "one meal a day" (OMAD) diet, he didn't hesitate to answer.

“Pretty much. I’ll have a bit of fruit in the morning, and then I’ll have dinner. That has kept me lean and mean,” he candidly replied.

Photo by Kevin Mazur on Getty Images

On its face, it sounds pretty logical. Just as Springsteen's music is an American pastime, so is overeating. Recent studies indicate that nearly 42 percent of U.S. adults are obese, defined as having a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher. While the BMI scale is an antiquated measurement, and more and more Americans are turning to GLP-1s to trim their fat, Springsteen's approach is fairly appealing on the surface. But is the act of eating one meal a day actually good for you, let alone effective? Several dietitians aren't so convinced.

Related: Dietitians Are Divided on Whether Dinner Timing Impacts Brain Health—but They Do Agree on This for People Over 50

What Dietitians Really Think of OMAD

OMAD is essentially a form of intermittent fasting, which is the practice of blocking out windows of time during which you eat and do not.

"An eating pattern like OMAD can work for some individuals under specific conditions, but it’s a fairly extreme approach that asks the body to do a lot in a very short window," Dr. Wendy Bazilian, a registered dietitian and host of the podcast1,000 Waking Minutes, tells Parade. "From a nutrition standpoint, it can be challenging to meet protein, fiber, and micronutrient needs in a single meal—especially nutrients that benefit from being spaced out for absorption and utilization."

Particularly for people over 50, this approach can significantly affect the ability to meet nutrient needs throughout the day. Protein, which is essential for those over 50, should ideally be spread throughout the day to better support muscle mass, which naturally deteriorates with age.

"An individual who is limiting their food intake to just one time per day will likely feel less energized and have difficulty focusing or concentrating during the course of their day," Kezia Joy, a registered dietitian nutritionist and medical advisor at Welzo, tells Parade. "As time progresses, extended periods between each meal will often disrupt your body's ability to recognize when you are hungry. When individuals wait too long between meals, they tend to eat much larger portions at the next meal, which can lead to poor digestion and fluctuating energy levels."

What's more, it can lead to some intense side effects.

"Intermittent fasting has been studied for its potential effects on weight loss, insulin sensitivity, and cardiometabolic health," explains Dr. Charlotte Markey, a clinical health psychology professor at Rutgers University who specializes in body image and social influences on health. "Evidence from randomized controlled trials suggests that intermittent fasting can be effective for short-term weight reduction and metabolic improvements, with outcomes often comparable to those achieved by traditional continuous calorie restriction."

"However, questions remain regarding its long-term sustainability, safety for specific populations, and potential side effects such as hunger, irritability, and the possibility of leading to disordered eating," Markey continues. "A recent systematic review and meta-analysis concluded that intermittent fasting does not appear to be superior to other calorie-restricted diets in the long term. And since most diets don’t work in the long run, there’s reason to believe that IF won’t offer long-term weight loss."

What Should People, Especially Over 50, Do Instead?

When it comes to feeling your best and achieving Springsteen-level stamina, it's better to do the opposite of his daily routine.

"A healthier way of consuming food would be to distribute all your food intake throughout the course of an entire day," advises Joy. "As well as eating a variety of foods at every meal that are rich in complex carbohydrates, fat, and protein for adequate nutrition and energy. Most people will find that simply establishing a routine of regularly timed meals and paying attention to portions will result in a better and longer-lasting outcome than trying to follow a diet."

Bazilian concurs, adding, "A more balanced approach that includes consistent nourishment across the day often better supports satiety, energy, and overall satisfaction, while still allowing for flexibility based on personal preference and lifestyle."

Maybe stick to The Boss's catalog instead of his dietary advice.

Niall Horan Admits He 'Still Hasn't Wrapped His Head Around' Liam Payne's Death

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:06pm

Niall Horan is reflecting on the death of his longtime friend and One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne, 18 months after his October 2024 death. The 32-year-old admitted he still "hasn't wrapped his head around" the unexpected tragedy.

“Shock was definitely the first thing [I felt,]" the The Voice coach shared on the The Tommy Tiernan Show on April 4. The singer remembered meeting up with his old pal in Buenos Aires just weeks before his death, and said that "it was great to see him."

"We met up, had a chat, he came around to my hotel room in the daytime and we had a coffee, and then he came to the gig that night," he recalled. "He was in the dressing room before, and came to the show."

Horan's tour ended, and very soon after returning home, he saw a notification on his phone before bed. "It was just pure shock," he said of finding out about his friend's death. "I knew he’d had a couple of issues but I wasn’t around him like I was previous years all the time, I didn't realize to what extent. I wasn’t aware of the depth."

What followed were "the stages of grief" and confusion. "I grew up with this fella and then all of a sudden just… It’s no more. It’s just such a strange thing. You go through, like, what could I have done, if I’d known more? Should I have dug more into it? Could I have talked to other people to get an angle on it? I still just haven’t wrapped my own head around it."

In the following weeks and months, Horan avoided news about the tragedy, instead focusing on being present for Payne's funeral and thinking about their good times together.

"I’ve shared a room with him, I’ve known him since I was 16 years old. I also just kept thinking of his little son... All that [other] stuff is just kind of irrelevant to me," he said. "I also have memories, I want to think about him in that way, rather than the crap they’re going to talk."

Payne died on Oct. 16, 2024, at age 31 after falling from a third-floor balcony at a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Authorities said emergency services had been called to the hotel shortly before the incident after staff reported a guest who appeared to be acting erratically and “trashing the entire room,” according to a 911 transcript.

Payne was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering catastrophic injuries from the fall, officials said. In a statement following the tragedy, Payne’s family said they were “heartbroken” and asked for privacy while they grieved.

Payne rose to global fame as a member of One Direction—one of the best-selling boy bands of all time—after appearing on The X Factor in 2010 before later launching a solo career.

1965 Classic Took 44 Takes to Record 61 Years Ago Today

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 2:01pm

There are summer songs, and then there's the summer song.

Sixty-one years ago today, on April 6, 1965, Brian Wilson walked into Western Studio in Hollywood with a head full of ideas and a band full of session players, ready to record what would become one of the most instantly recognizable pop songs ever made: "California Girls" by The Beach Boys.

It just took him 44 takes to get it right.

Wilson started piecing the song together at a piano after his very first LSD experience, with the now-iconic orchestral intro inspired by the way heroes rode into town in old cowboy movies. "The music started off like those old cowboy movies, when the hero's riding slowly into town, bum-ba-dee-dah," he later wrote in his memoir. The trippy origin story stayed a secret from his bandmate Mike Love, who co-wrote the lyrics, until Wilson finally spilled the beans on the band's 50th anniversary tour in 2012.

That dreamy intro almost didn't make the final cut. Wilson's father Murry pushed him to scrap it, arguing it made the song too complicated. Thank goodness Wilson didn't listen, because that prelude is the part everyone remembers.

The April 6 session at Western Studio was no breeze. The song carried the working title "We Don't Know" and ran the dozen-plus session musicians ragged. Tempo issues and that tricky guitar part in the introduction wore out Wilson, engineer Chuck Britz and the rest of the room. By the time Wilson called it a day, the clock had ticked past midnight and they'd burned through 44 takes of the backing track alone.

The finished song hit shelves on July 12, 1965, and shot all the way to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. It anchored the band's album Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) and became shorthand for everything sun-soaked, top-down and Pacific Coast Highway. More than six decades later, you still can't hear those opening notes without picturing a beach.

The song has a different weight now, too. Wilson, the brain behind the band's most ambitious work, died in June 2025 at age 82, making every Beach Boys anniversary feel a little more like a love letter. "California Girls" stands as proof that genius sometimes shows up after midnight, on take 44, when everyone in the room is exhausted but the song just won't quit.

Survivor's Monica Culpepper is opening up about the death of her son Rex Culpepper in a heartbreaking new post.

Rex, who was a former quarterback for Syracuse University's football team, died on Mar. 14 after suffering injuries in a dirt bike accident. He was 28 years old.

"No words. Feeble try…," Monica began her post on Instagram. "Our world stopped at 5:12 pm on 3/14/26. We are overwhelmed with a gut wrenching grief, so hard it makes us ill. The shared stories, music, and videos of Rex’s dynamic interests and talents are uplifting and incredible."

Rex's death was first confirmed by his fiancée Savanna Morgan on Mar. 16 via Instagram.

“No one expects to meet the love of your life and lose them in only 6 short years after meeting,” Morgan wrote in part. “Rex didn’t always believe in soulmates but towards the end he told me that he didn’t realize what having a soulmate felt like until we felt like extensions of each other.”

In March 2018, 8 years prior to his passing, Rex was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He underwent 100 hours of chemotherapy before being declared cancer-free in June, returning to the Syracuse football team later that year.

Monica and her husband, Brad Culpepper, are best known for appearing on the CBS reality series Survivor. Martha Stewart Claps Back After a Fan Makes a Bold Accusation

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 1:45pm

Martha Stewart's Easter weekend was picture-perfect; up until one Instagram commenter decided to weigh in on her floral arrangements.

The lifestyle icon spent the holiday at her farm, sharing a series of festive posts documenting the occasion. Her Saturday, April 4 update featured an array of bunny decor displayed throughout her home, closing with a shot of a chick-shaped vase filled with an assortment of fresh daffodils.

“Bunnies everywhere More to come Easter decorations are everywhere as the outdoors bursts into bloom ! Happy Easter weekend everyone !!,” Stewart wrote—but it was the comments section that generated the most attention.

View this post on Instagram

One follower questioned the authenticity of the flowers, writing, "A lot of this looks super janky. And fake daffodils????? Has Martha been hacked?" Stewart did not let the remark go unaddressed. "where in the world do you see fake daffodils????" she clapped back.

The rest of the weekend unfolded with less controversy. On Easter Sunday, Stewart shared a photo of an impressive milk chocolate egg created by celebrated chocolatier Jacques Torres, noting in her caption: "Yes that is a giant milk chocolate egg! it was made by Jacques Torres !! It is so heavy and so fragrant And we vow to break it and share with everyone at the farm!!!!!"

A screenshot of Martha Stewart's response to a comment on her April 4 Instagram post.

Another post documented lunch with family, featuring a spread of artichokes and asparagus from a longtime supplier. "Lunch for Alexis and the grandchildren Giant artichokes vinaigrette and giant asparagus hollandaise courtesy of @mister_spear We ve been serving their incredible springtime produce for many many years !!! Thank you for 2026!! Happy Easter," she wrote.

Beyond the holiday festivities, Stewart has also been embracing the season in other fashionable ways. The 84-year-old has been seen sporting a Bandolier crossbody phone case—a leather accessory that has gained significant traction on TikTok and is available in an array of vibrant spring-ready colors.

Most recently, she was spotted out and about in New York City in early March holding her Remi Magnet case in brown croc/gold, which stood out against her bright yellow pantsuit. Previously, Stewart was photographed at New York Fashion Week in 2025 with a tan Crystal Wristlet version of the accessory, proving she's been a longtime fan of the functional brand.

Alyssa Milano’s Daughter Elizabeth Looks Just Like Her on ‘Who’s the Boss’ in Sweet Family Easter Photo

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 1:42pm

Alyssa Milano won the hearts of America's TV viewers in the role of Samantha Micelli on the '80s sitcomWho's the Boss. Flash forward to 2026, and her adorable daughter Elizabeth could tackle the same role today!

Milano, 53, rose to stardom in the role, playing the daughter of Tony Micelli (played by Tony Danza, of course), who moves to suburban Connecticut from Brooklyn to work as a housekeeper for a wealthy advertising executive, played by Judith Light. Milano skyrocketed to fame as a pre-teen in the role, and grew up over the next decade in front of the cameras.

Now married to David Bugliari, Milano is a mother of two, and her daughter, Elizabeth, is basically her twin. If they even decide to do that Who's the Boss reboot, we know exactly who could play Samantha!

In a sweet Easter photo, Milano reflected on how fast her family has grown up.

"Too fast. Happy Easter. Love you all," she captioned the present-day photo, while also featuring one with her children as babies.

What Are the Chances of a Who’s the Boss Reboot?

Rumors of a Who’s the Boss reboot have gotten fans of the classic series curious in recent years. Last year, Milano told Entertainment Tonight that she thinks a reboot would be a great idea.

“I think it could be really funny because, in my head, Tony is gonna be the exact same character but everything around him is just changing and growing,” Milano told ET. “So I’m excited about the prospect. I think it could be really, really fun.”

However, Light isn’t sure she’d be able to commit to the show just yet. However, she made it clear that she also can’t guarantee what will happen in the future.

“In terms of where I am and the workload that I have right now, I don’t know what my availability would be,” the actress told PEOPLE last year. “When I started my career, I said I’d never do a soap opera and I’d never do a sitcom,” she continued. “Well, I did both those things. Then I said I would never marry an actor. And I did just that. So, I learned to never say never.”

Who could forget that classic series opening theme?

Mon, 04/06/2026 - 1:35pm

Funny lady Patrika Darbodeserves a toast today, as the ’90s icon is celebrating 78 years young.

Darbo — who you’ll recognize from a myriad of classic television shows (Punky Brewster, Growing Pains, Step by Step, Seinfeld), soap operas (Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, St. Elsewhere), and movies (Corrina, Corrina, Babe, Charlie Wilson’s War) — often takes to her social media to share peeks into her life with fans.

In her latest Instagram post, the Acting Dead Emmy winner shares that she and her friends are at a Mexican food restaurant — “I’ve had a margarita!” she says — when she runs into Broadway legend Marsha Mason. Together, they show some love for ArtCo, a program that teaches kids to perform.

“We’ve been getting a little loaded here,” Darbo jokes, before passing the camera to Mason to share her background in theater, which includes starring in Cactus Flower (1965), The Good Doctor(1973), and Steel Magnolias (2005).

“She’s my competition,” Darbo quips. “I’m going to kill her later, but you don’t have to worry about that right now.”

“She’s funnier than me,” Mason jokes back.

Darbo then goes around the table introducing her pals, all allies and staffers of Los Angeles’ ArtCo production coaching company.

The actress and comedian is still booked and busy today. Following her voice-acting contributions to the adult animation series Haha, You Clowns, Darbo has short film Open House, TV series The Bubble, and drama You Did What? - A Father and Son Reunion all on the docket.

Happy birthday!
