More than five decades ago, the English group the Fortunes released "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again," a song that would become one of the band's most enduring hits despite never reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Released in 1971, the soft rock favorite steadily gained attention on radio stations across North America. The song eventually climbed to No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 8 on Billboard's Easy Listening chart, giving the Fortunes one of the biggest hits of their career. It also found success in Canada, where it reached No. 12 on the RPM Top Singles chart.

The single arrived during a productive period for the group. After breaking through internationally in the mid-1960s with hits such as "You've Got Your Troubles" and "Here It Comes Again," the Fortunes continued to find success with a string of well-received releases. "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again" became one of the band's signature songs and helped keep the group on the charts into the early 1970s.

Written by Tony Macaulay, Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway, "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again" uses the image of a gloomy, rainy day to capture the sadness of a relationship that appears to be coming to an end.

The lyrics follow a narrator coping with the loss of a relationship as he reflects on happier times and hopes his former love will return. Images of rainy Mondays, fading sunshine and lingering memories helped make the song relatable to listeners experiencing heartbreak of their own.

Lead singer Rod Allen's distinctive vocal performance helped give the song its memorable sound. Combined with the track's gentle melody, lush harmonies and polished production, the performance helped turn the song into a staple of soft rock and adult contemporary radio.

Even 55 years after its release, "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again" remains one of the Fortunes' best-known recordings. The song continues to receive airplay on oldies and soft rock stations, while its nostalgic lyrics have helped it endure long after its original chart run ended.

Though it never became a No. 1 hit, "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again" remains a favorite among fans of classic soft rock and stands as one of the defining songs in the Fortunes' catalog.

One of rock music's most enduring guitarists is celebrating a major milestone.

Ronnie Wood, founding member of Faces and a member of The Rolling Stones since 1975, turned 79 on Monday.

Few musicians can claim membership in two of the most influential rock bands of all time. Wood first rose to prominence in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a founding member of Faces, the hard-drinking, high-energy British rock group that also featured Rod Stewart, Kenney Jones and Ronnie Lane. The band became known for classic songs including "Stay with Me" and "Ooh La La," helping define the loose, bluesy rock sound of the early 1970s.

Faces' influence continued to grow long after the group disbanded, culminating in its induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. And, by the mid-1970s, Wood's career took another historic turn.

In 1975, he joined The Rolling Stones, replacing guitarist Mick Taylor and becoming part of one of the most successful and celebrated bands in music history. Alongside Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the rest of the group, Wood helped guide the Stones through decades of stadium tours, hit albums and continued global success.

"When I first saw [The Rolling Stones' I said: 'I'm going to be in that band,'" Wood told Louder. "I never doubted it, and that was it. I reckon if you have a big enough belief in something, it'll happen."

The Rolling Stones had already established themselves as rock icons before Wood joined, but he became an essential part of the band's chemistry and longevity. His guitar interplay with Richards became one of the defining sounds of the Stones' later years.

"It's always good with Keith [Richards], great fun," Wood told The Guardian. "We have that standing argument – which one is the better guitar player? We have to call Eric Clapton and he says, 'Neither of you are. I’m better than both of you.'"

The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, cementing its status as one of the most influential acts in rock history.

Beyond his work with Faces and the Stones, Wood has also maintained a successful solo career and earned recognition as an accomplished visual artist, exhibiting his paintings and drawings around the world. Remarkably, he remains active with The Rolling Stones nearly 50 years after joining the band.

For many fans, Ronnie Wood represents a rare rock-and-roll achievement: a musician who helped shape not one but two Hall of Fame bands while remaining a vital presence on the concert stage well into his seventies.

Now at 79, his legacy continues to span generations of rock history, from the swaggering days of Faces to nearly five decades with The Rolling Stones.

Heidi Klum celebrated her 53rd birthday on June 1 with a new bathing suit campaign, and the photos are incredible!

The supermodel, who rose to stardom on the runways and became a Project Runway staple, showed off her ageless looks in the new photos and video for the bathing suit brand Calzedonia, which showed her frolicking through the waves as she walked up the beach. If there's one person Klum loves to hit the red carpet with, it's her son, rising model and musician Henry Samuel, 20. The duo hit the Cannes Film Festival together and attended the amfAR Gala Cannes 2026 Presented By Chopard at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France. Wearing a black sparkly corset that went all the way down to her tummy, Klum caught the attention of everyone on the red carpet. Samuel, who sported a sparkly black-and-gold outfit of his own, walked with his arm around his beloved mom. Klum's husband, Tom Kaulitz, was also on the scene.

Always known for her outlandish Halloween costumes, Klum decided to do something special for the 2026 Met Gala. You may not recognize her under there, but Klum went all out for the event, where she dressed as a marble statue to play into the "Fashion Is Art" dress code and "Costume Art" theme. Her look was inspired by the Veiled Vestal, a 19th-century sculpture by Raffaelle Monti, according to The New York Times. However, getting the look together was no easy task. It took three months of planning and five hours of prosthetic makeup to come together. In the end, it still required the approval of Vogue legend and event chairwoman Anna Wintour.

“I asked her if she liked it — she said yes,” Klum said. “I was the most worried that she [wouldn 't] like it.”

The look was a fun departure from her normally binding red carpet clothes.

“For once, my feet don’t hurt,” Klum added.

James L. Brooks, the co-creator of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, revealed what it was really like to work with the titular actress.

The director and producer spoke to Peopleat the Peabody Awards on Sunday in Beverly Hills, California. Brooks reflected fondly on his time with Mary Tyler Moore, sharing “she never pulled rank. Ever. Ever,” and saw herself as “a member of the cast.”

He also created sitcoms such as Taxi and The Simpsonsand became the first person to receive the Industry Icon Award at the Peabody Awards.

The only time he remembered Moore upset was during the finale of the series. The episode, “The Last Show," aired on CBS on March 19, 1977.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show followed an unmarried, career-driven woman, Mary Richards (Moore’s character). She worked at a news station in Minneapolis.

In the final episode, everyone at the station is fired, with the exception of TedBaxter's character. The employees (played by EdAsner, GavinMacLeod, and BettyWhite) each get an opportunity to say goodbye to one another. Moore’s goodbye was overlooked and not written.

“I don't know what happened to us. We were just working so hard.” Brooks said. Adding that it was “the only time she came to the office.”

After seven years working on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, finding Moore's final words was “a hard thing to come up with.” Luckily, they eventually “got it just right,” Brooks said.

The series is one of the most awarded comedies in television history. It received 67 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and 29 wins. The show also earned the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series in 1975, 1976, and 1977.

Mary Tyler Moore died in 2017 at 80 years old. She was an actress, producer, and activist. Her role on The Mary Tyler MooreShow was groundbreaking, becoming one of the first series with a strong, independent female lead.

Time flies. It’s an understatement only people of a certain age truly grasp. One of those people who gets it is actor, legendary television dad (and real dad of two), and voice of Buzz Lightyear Tim Allen, who just shared an emotional image illustrating the point on social media.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Home Improvement alum shared a split then-and-now image featuring himself in 1995 at the Toy Story premiere with Hollywood stalwart Tom Hanks. Both are smiling as Hanks, wearing a taupe-hued plaid blazer and easy curls, reaches his right arm around his friend, who is wearing a leather bomber jacket and wire-rimmed spectacles. That was “then.”

For the “now” pic, the two are in London promoting Toy Story 5. Again, both are smiling with Hanks embracing Allen, though this time there’s a bit more gray and few more creases — just time doing its thing. Hanks looks svelte in an olive-toned vest ensemble, while Allen, too, looks great in a textured blue blazer and Henley.

At the time of writing, the image has nearly 20,000 likes and hundreds of comments, with fans sharing their love for the actors and their movies: “What wonderful photos!!” one writes; “Tim Allen and Tom Hanks are the greatest 2 punch combo in cinema history,” another says; “I can't tell you how much Toy Story has enmeshed itself into our family dialogue over the last 26 years. Thanks for being a part of something very special for families all over the world,” yet another shares.

Toy Story 5 is due in theaters this month, June 19, promising another heart-tugging tale about Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toy box. The focus this time is on digital and electronic playthings becoming a threat to playtime. With the return of Love Island USA only a day away, Peacock has released a first look at the villa where all the action will go down this summer.

The official Love Island USA social media accounts posted a video showcasing the updated villa, with host Ariana Madix walking viewers through it. “Before the season gets underway, I'd like to review some of the features thoughtfully designed for maximum romantic impact,” Madix shared.

The first thing the video showed was the Kitchen. Madix explained it is stocked with coffee and “plenty of piping-hot tea.”

Madix takes viewers into the girls' dressing room. “Back by popular demand,” she shares that the room “holds the capacity for every last outfit essential, but not the infrastructure to keep a secret.”

Madix shared that production has “thought of every detail, so all you need to worry about is which new bombshell to track down.”

Ghirardelli is making fans very happy with its latest grocery finds.

The iconic chocolate company is always looking to hit the sweet spot of current trends, whether it be at its shops or with its retail line, and given the uptick in demand for at-home bakery items, it should really be no surprise that the maker of cult-favorite chocolate chips and boxed mixes is now tapping into the refrigerated section.

Although the brand hasn't officially announced the new items, eagle-eyed shoppers have already spotted two new Ghirardelli ready-to-bake cookie doughs in some stores and are eagerly sharing their finds (and excitement) on social media.

Ghirardelli is now making premium cookie dough in two flavors: Classic Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Brownie, according to several reports.

Parade reviewed an online product listing for one of the varieties, which describes the refrigerated premade dough as a shortcut to "classic soft, chewy" cookies with "crisp golden edges, premium chocolate and delicious scratch-made flavor you’d expect from your own mixing bowl​." Each package makes 12 cookies and doesn't appear to be edible before baking, like some Pillsbury cookies.

Despite no promotion of the product line, fans are already "sold."

"What??" one Instagram user wrote in disbelief. "Omg!"

"PRAYING these taste good!!" a second exclaimed. "I’m tired of making cookie dough from scratch."

"I’m SOLD!" a third declared, before someone else rejoiced, "Oh yeah."

"Can’t believe they’re just now getting into the refrigerated cookie game!!" one more teased. "Where have they been? Haha."

As for where the two new items have been spotted, so far, only at Walmart. Whether the ready-to-bake treats will expand to other retailers remains unclear.

Medicolegal death investigator Barbara Butcher shared her assessment of the Nancy Guthrie case during CrimeCon in Las Vegas. She spoke with Fox News Digital’s Adriana James-Rodil about what she believes may have happened.

"I find it flabbergasting that anyone would take a woman her age," Butcher began. She went on to say that she thinks that "someone in the area" found out that Guthrie, 84, was the mother of Savannah Guthrie and "must be rich."

"My second thought is that, after time, when there was no valid ransom demand or any information forthcoming that it's probably likely that Mrs. Guthrie died of shock, fright, heart disease—whatever it was—very soon after being taken from her home. And that's just horrifying to me. Just horrifying," Butcher continued.

She went on to guess that the person or persons responsible were left with "nothing" and may have buried her in the desert.

Guthrie has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1. Authorities believe that someone broke into her Arizona home in the middle of the night and took her against her will. Despite releasing some video surveillance footage of a possible suspect, investigators have not been able to identify the person or persons responsible.

Now, as the case has reached its fourth month, some people are fearing the worst—while others are losing hope that Guthrie will be found. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has assured the public that investigators are still working leads and looking into evidence despite no new updates in the case.

On May 30, Fox News Digital's Mike Ruiz posted a video from a ComicCon panel during which he said that one of his sources had confirmed that "new tools" are being brought in to help with the investigation. Ruiz wasn't able to elaborate past saying the tools were "tech" related.

Anyone with information pertaining to the Guthrie case is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

In the early afternoon, the Cleveland Browns agreed to trade two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, and a second-round pick in 2028.

While this type of deal is something Los Angeles has done in the past, trading for quarterback Matthew Stafford in 2021, it came as a surprise since the Browns continuously said they have no interest in trading Garrett. However, the Rams have shown interest since March, continuing to call in their "persistent pursuit," sources told ESPN. Los Angeles initially didn't want to send Verse in exchange, offering just picks, but Cleveland pushed back and said that it had to be part of the deal if they were to consider it.

But that wasn't all.

Just after 4 p.m., which was a crucial deadline for the Philadelphia Eagles, they traded star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the New England Patriots after months and months of speculation. The Patriots sent a 2028 first-round pick as well as a 2027 fifth-round pick in return. And with that, it reunites Brown with head coach Mike Vrabel, with the two having worked together at the beginning of the three-time Pro Bowler's career with the Tennessee Titans.

Fans immediately reacted to the crazy day for the league.

"NFL said “slow news day?” and started flipping the league upside down," one person wrote.

"NFL offseason turned one June day into franchise roulette," another person expressed.

"my kids will ask me where I was on June 1, 2026 and I’ll have a long story to tell," a fan commented.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper is setting the record straight on not being an undercover hater. Draper took to her official TikTok account on Monday to deny she was making fun of her “SLOMW” co-star Miranda Hope’s Miami Swim Week closing runway walk.

The speculation comes after Draper’s initial TikTok post featured her and her friends, each demonstrating an exaggerated runway walk. The initial post also included no audio, which caused some fans to assume Draper was mocking Hope’s walk at the White Fox Boutique’s runway show on May 29.

Despite doubling down on her harmless intention behind the video, Draper’s own “SLOMW” co-star Mikayla Matthews claimed people are making posts critiquing women’s Miami Swim Week runway walks. Matthews posted a message on her Instagram stories on March 31, writing, “I’m going to flip my sh*t on the next person I see making a video making fun of the way people were walking or the way someone looked at Miami Swim Week. Like are we okay!?!”

Doubling down on her beliefs, Matthews posted an Instagram video elaborating on the ones hating on models' Miami Swim Week runway walks, saying, “ I will lose my sh*t if I see one more comment or one more video making fun of the way women are walking, the way they're looking, their bodies… Are we ok? Genuinely. It’s 2026. Why are we commenting on people’s bodies?”

Fans React to the "SLOMW" Posts

Fans and followers of the “SLOMW” series are polarized in the comments, with some agreeing that Draper’s video wasn’t a dig at Hope, while others agree that people in general were being overly critical and harsh towards Hope’s Miami Swim Week walk, along with other models' appearances. 

“Jessi has always been a girls girl, I could neverrrr imagine her making fun of anyone. Luv U queen 💗,” a user commented under Draper’s newly re-uploaded TikTok video. On the other hand, comments under Matthew’s IG video included, “They’re hating cause they didn’t get invited to walk Miami Swim Week” and “Thank you for bringing this up. Everyone who walked looked absolutely gorgeous!”

Meanwhile, Hope hasn’t responded to any of the claims, seemingly letting her walk do the talking.

My 14-year-old niece has never met a sprinkle she didn’t love. Cupcakes, donuts, cookies, ice cream cones—if there’s a version coated in rainbow sprinkles, that’s the one she’s choosing every single time without hesitation. So, when those colorful “dot cakes” started flooding my social feeds, it felt like the algorithm was speaking to me about my girl.

Every few scrolls, there it was again: a spoon plunging through a thick, glittery layer of rainbow nonpareils, breaking into soft cake beneath, followed by a swoop of frosting so smooth it almost looked like whipped cloud. The contrast was mesmerizing—crunchy sprinkles against pillowy cake—and I’ll admit, I didn’t just watch those videos once. I watched them on repeat. There’s something about the ASMR of that first spoonful crack-through that makes it impossible to keep scrolling.

Beyond the satisfying visuals, the desserts themselves are adorable. These colorful single-serve treats look like they walked straight out of a childhood birthday party and into Instagram. They’re playful, a little over-the-top and completely unapologetic about it. Still, I couldn’t help but wonder: Are dot cakes actually worth the hype—or the premium price at the bakery? Or is this yet another viral dessert moment designed to look better than it tastes?

So, my curiosity and desire to be the best aunt ever got the best of me, and I decided to find out for myself. I gathered ingredients (including an alarming quantity of sprinkles) and recruited my niece as the official taste tester. What followed was a kitchen experiment fueled by sugar, anticipation and a very serious commitment to recreating the internet’s most recent favorite dessert at home. Let’s dig in.

What Are Viral Dot Cakes?

The signature treat—often sold as individual “Dotcups”—is deceptively simple: layers of cake and frosting topped with a thick blanket of crunchy nonpareil sprinkles. The contrast between the soft cake, fluffy frosting and crackly sprinkle coating is what makes the dessert so satisfying to watch (and hear) on social media. Videos of spoons scraping across the sprinkle-covered top before digging into the cake underneath have racked up millions of views on TikTok, turning this treat into one of the platform’s biggest dessert obsessions.

The dot cake craze may look like an overnight TikTok phenomenon, but the dessert traces back to The Dotcakes, a Long Island bakery founded by mother-daughter duo Alex and Sondra Posner. Alex first began making the sprinkle-covered cakes as a high school senior in 2017, and what started as a small baking project eventually grew into a business known for its colorful, nonpareil-coated cakes and single-serve Dotcups.

Part of the appeal is nostalgia. Dot cakes taste like the birthday-party cakes many of us grew up eating (vanilla cake, sweet frosting and rainbow sprinkles) but packaged in a single-serve cup and optimized for the Gram. Many social media users are also quick to compare dot cakes to cortadillo, a traditional Mexican dessert.

This combination of childhood familiarity, eye-catching colors and ASMR-worthy crunch has transformed a simple sprinkle cake into one of the most talked-about desserts of the summer.

The Ingredients You’ll Need

One of the best things about dot cakes is that they can be as homemade—or as shortcut-friendly—as you want them to be. I opted for a box cake mix and tub frosting to keep things simple, but you can absolutely use your favorite scratch cake and frosting recipes.

For the cake, I used:

• 1 box cake mix (I went with chocolate, but choose your own adventure.)
• 1 cup water
• ½ cup vegetable oil
• 3 eggs

You’ll also need:

• 2 tubs frosting (Trust me: One won’t be enough; I chose vanilla so the sprinkles would “pop.”)
• Rainbow nonpareil sprinkles (Buy a lot!)
• Small paper cups (You could also use ramekins or small glass jars.)

How To Make Dot Cakes at Home

I started by preparing the cake according to the package directions and dividing the batter between two 8-inch square pans. I baked the cakes until a toothpick inserted into the center came out clean (mine took about 24 minutes). Then, I allowed the cakes to cool completely.

Using a 3-inch biscuit cutter, I cut rounds of cake sized to fit inside my paper cups; if you’re using ramekins or glass jars, simply cut the cake to fit your chosen container. (I ended up with five rounds per cake layer for a total of 10 treats.)

To maximize the frosting-to-cake ratio, I sliced each cake round horizontally into two thinner layers.

Then, one at a time, I assembled the cake cups.

First, place one cake half in the bottom of each cup.

Then, add a layer of frosting. (I started the process with a pastry bag; by the end, I was just using a spoon.)

Top with another generous layer of frosting. Use a butter knife (or an offset spatula) to smooth the frosting across the top, creating an even surface.

Press the frosting directly into a bowl of rainbow nonpareils until the entire top is completely covered in sprinkles.

The result looked remarkably close to the versions I’d been seeing online.

By the way: The cake scraps around the cutouts didn’t end up in the compost bin; I crumbled them and mixed them with the remaining frosting—kind of like a cake pop that’s not a pop. (My parents were born during the Great Depression; I was raised to waste nothing.)

Dot Cake Recipe Review: What They Actually Taste Like

The simplest description? They taste exactly like (wait for it) cake, frosting and sprinkles. In other words, they’re essentially a cupcake turned up to 11. My niece approved!

The cake stays soft and moist, while the frosting provides plenty of sweetness. The sprinkles add a surprisingly satisfying crunch. Every spoonful breaks through the colorful shell before reaching the cake beneath, creating a textural contrast that makes these treats so addictive to watch—and eat.

If you’re expecting some secret flavor revelation, you won’t find one. The magic isn’t in a unique ingredient; it’s in the combination of textures and the sheer amount of sprinkles. Think of your favorite birthday cupcake, only with far more crunch and a much bigger visual payoff.

Ted McGinley says reruns of Happy DaysandMarried... With Children still generate residual checks—but not enough to get him to the bank. The Shrinking star revealed the payments are so small he's never cashed them.

The actor, who was a ubiquitous presence on television throughout the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, revealed that he has a "whole stack" of residual checks at home—each worth just a penny. McGinley told Page Six that residual payments "step down" over time until "it doesn't become that much." Rather than cashing them, he kept the checks as mementos of his long television career.

Were any of the checks worth depositing? “I’d say about $2,” he laughed, adding, “$1.89, it’s going on!”

Thankfully, McGinley didn't consider financially depending on residuals. “I’m super cheap,” he laughed in a separate interview with Page Six. He said both he and his wife, Gigi Rice, are frugal.

“We’re both very thrifty and have been…I’m a massive saver," he explained. "I’ve worked since I was in third grade, cutting lawns and doing paper routes, and I’ve saved it.”

McGinley was seemingly everywhere on television in the '80s and '90s, but after spending years out of the spotlight, his turn as Derek—the sweet, scene-stealing husband on Shrinking—has made his career resurgence all the more satisfying.

“I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I [would] get this shot,” he said about his role on the Apple+ hit series. “I remember always going in on films and whatnot and thinking, ‘I wonder what it would be like, I’d just give anything to see what it would be like to work opposite a guy like Harrison Ford, just the biggest movie star in the world. What is it like?”

He added, “It’s amazing. This has been that gift. It’s been that opportunity to just watch." And “I never thought I would be on a show like this," McGinley said. "I’m so honored that they would allow me to be a part of it.”

While Poehler typically stays mum on family matters, she did reveal a bit during an interview at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar party about Lovell, who joined her for the festivities.

Jenna Dewanis officially the mom of a teenager.

The actress and dancer shared a rare photo with her daughter, Everly, in honor of Everly's 13th birthday, posting a heartfelt Instagram tribute that looked back on how quickly her oldest child has grown up.

Dewan, 45, shares Everly with ex-husband Channing Tatum. In the first photo from the post, the mother-daughter duo poses together at the beach, with Everly standing nearly shoulder-to-shoulder with her mom in the sunny snapshot.

"To my Evie…13," Dewan began her caption, adding that she kept staring at the number and wondering how it was possible. "It feels like yesterday I was rocking you to sleep, and somehow now I'm looking at this incredible young woman standing in front of me," Dewan wrote.

The Step Up star went on to praise Everly not for what she has accomplished, but for who she is when no one is watching.

"What I love most about you isn't what you've accomplished, how talented you are, or even how creative and brilliant you are," Dewan wrote. "It's who you are when no one is watching. Your beautiful heart."

Everly is Dewan's oldest child. The actress is also mom to son Callum, 6, and daughter Rhiannon, 23 months, whom she shares with fiancé Steve Kazee.

Dewan has often given fans small glimpses of family life on social media, though she tends to share only select moments with Everly. In April, Dewan told People that her family remains her top priority while balancing motherhood with her work on The Rookie.
