Is the Rumor That a Budget Airline Kicked a Family off a Flight for Having a Crying Baby Real?
A viral TikTok has sparked outrage and confusion after a family claimed they were removed from a flight because their baby looked “feverish” while crying. And more importantly, it raises a bigger question: Can airlines actually remove a passenger because a baby might be sick?
What Happened on the FlightThe incident involves a family flying with Allegiant Air, who say they were asked to leave after a flight attendant raised concerns about their infant.
According to the video, the baby had been crying and appeared flushed. Crew members allegedly suspected the child might have a fever, even though no formal medical check, such as a temperature reading, was performed.
The airline later stated that staff consulted a medical support service and made the decision based on potential health concerns for the infant, not simply because the baby was crying.
@quarantinecutiee@Allegiant Air We were unable to fly back home to Indiana with Allegiant on Friday 3/27 at 9pm due to a baby being naturally pale and red in the face from crying on a plane. First they didn't believe our babies birth certificate from Indiana at check in and they had several people look at it. We went through TSA just fine no issues. We boarded our flight like normal. Before boarding we took off babies shirt because she was hot on the flight from Indy to Florida we figured she'd probably be sweaty then too. She had also just ate baby food. Anybody with a child knows they are messy. They removed the gentleman in the aisle seat told him there was a seat up front away from kids. The whole two rows we were in were full of children and their parents. Someone in a vest came onto the plane and ask for our boarding pass again. I handed it over. They then asked me how old the baby was, her name, her birthdate and went back by the bathrooms and kept talking into the phone and walkie talkie. They called her an unidentified infant over the walkie. Then they told us a flight attendant reported us for a baby being feverish... said medical professionals wouldn't clear her to tly and that we were going to have to get off. Nobody would come and see her. Nobody on the flight was required to have a temperature checked. Nobody would even come and take her temperature. They said well she looks red and it looks like a rash. Several other babies were on the flight and also crying. We were told to get off the flight or police would take us off of it even though we weren't arguing or cussing. As we walked off we asked again why are we getting kicked off the plane and they stated we weren't getting kicked off. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I told the lady I'm not mad at you I'm mad at the situation. Im not complaining about you specifically. A supervisor wouldn't come and talk to us in person only on a phone. We got on the next flight they had which was 11am the next day. No accommodations, no car to get around, no place to stay other than to call family back to grab us from the airport again. We were so lucky we hadn't been just in town by ourselves. We waited an hour for them to drive back and grab us. We have no luggage as they wouldn't grab it off the plane. No car seat or stroller for the baby. They gave us an unclaimed car seat that has no padding and isn't age appropriate. Car seat was way too big had to hold her head the whole ride back to Kyle's grandparents house because it was too big. We missed work the next day, had to get our pet sitter to stay another day, didn't get to pick up our two other kids that were at dads for spring break and missed our foster care class which was the only one that aligned with our schedule for the next two months. We got on our next flight no issues. When we checked in they did state usually you can't tly tor 24 hours if there's illness when I asked if there were notes in for the night previous for when I called customer care. However we were put on the next flight 12 hours later. They even tried to make it better putting us in priority boarding and extra leg room which we didn't care about. We chose the back of the plane on purpose, less windows, it's usually darker for the baby to nap, and usually other people with kids chose the back. There was such a difference in the second flight sitting up front. Everyone was so much nicer and friendlier. We called Allegiant and they just keep telling us we are not able to get any sort of compensation for our time or experience. They wouldn't email or give me any policies on traveling with infants and they wouldn't connect me to a supervisor of any kind. @Allegiant Air also if you're just here to make comments about a baby being naked or there being more to the story get fucked
♬ original sound - Syd ❤️ Can Airlines Remove You for a Sick Baby? This is where things get more nuanced. Airlines operate under strict safety guidelines, and crew members are responsible for assessing whether any passenger, including infants, is fit to fly. If there are signs of illness, especially something that could worsen mid-flight, airlines can deny boarding.
While policies vary, industry norms generally include:
- Passengers (including infants) should not fly with serious or contagious illnesses
- Airlines may consult medical professionals before allowing travel
- Crew decisions are often made in real time, sometimes with limited information
In fact, airlines may err on the side of caution because once a plane is in the air, access to medical care is extremely limited.

What About Babies with Fevers? There isn’t a universal “no fever rule,” but most airlines strongly discourage flying with a sick infant.
Common guidance includes:
- If a baby appears ill, airlines may request medical clearance
- A visible fever or concerning symptoms can lead to denied boarding
Even outside airline policy, pediatricians often advise against flying with a fever due to:
- Risk of worsening illness
- Cabin pressure effects on ears and sinuses
- Exposure to other passengers
In short, a fever isn’t automatically cause for alarm, but it does raise red flags.
Where the Situation Gets ControversialThis is where public opinion splits. On one hand, airlines have a duty to prioritize safety. If a baby appears unwell, especially without medical confirmation, it’s understandable that staff would be cautious.
On the other hand, critics argue this situation may have been mishandled:
- No temperature was taken
- No in-person medical evaluation occurred
- The decision appeared to rely on visual assumptions
That’s where frustration comes in, especially for parents who feel they were judged without proper assessment.
“I am so tired of the public being mean to mothers/fathers and babies,” commented one viewer.
“I didn’t realize Allegiant Airlines was a licensed pediatrician,” commented another.
"We were a few rows up from you. We weren’t aware of why you were being asked to leave. I feel terrible for you,” said an eyewitness who commented, “I can’t imagine how stressful that was, and not having any luggage or car seat. All I can say is that you both handled the situation in the most tactful way. Kuddos for being so calm through it all.”

What Parents Should Know Before FlyingIf you’re traveling with a baby, here are a few practical takeaways:
- Avoid flying if your baby is visibly sick or has a fever
- Consider getting a doctor’s note if there’s any doubt
- Be prepared for extra scrutiny if your child appears unwell
This wasn’t about punishing a crying baby. It was about a crew making a judgment call, right or wrong, based on perceived health concerns. Still, the situation highlights a gray area in air travel: when caution turns into overreach.
Will '70s Rock Band Change Its Name After Losing Beloved Drummer?
Rush is returning after losing their drummer, Neil Peart, in 2020. Lead singer Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson acknowledged that things won't be the same without Peart. Will Rush change its name now that Lee, 72, and Lifeson, 72, will perform with drummer Anika Nilles?
Why the Band, Rush Will Keep Its Name Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart of Rush"We were twisting ourselves into a pretzel to try to avoid using the name that we have had for 50 years, and even before Neil came," Lee toldClassic Rock.

They knew they would continue playing the band's hits if it went by a different name. "Rush as most people know it," he later said. "But, you know, over five gigs we will be playing 40 Rush songs. So what the f--- should we call it, Iron Maiden?" They decided it was "silly" trying to come up with a new name, and will continue going by Rush.
Lee said grief hits him harder with some songs more than others. They plan to pay tribute to the drummer on the Fifty Something tour.
The tour starts in North America this June in Los Angeles. It will continue into 2027, starting with South America, then Europe. The band will be done by April 2027 unless they add more dates.
Nilles is a 42-year-old German drummer who performed solo. She rose to fame through YouTube. She performed with Rush when they returned for the first time at the Juno Awards and paid tribute to Peart.
Peart auditioned to join Rush and officially became part of the band in 1974. He died on January 7, 2020, at 67 years old in Santa Monica, California. He battled brain cancer three and a half years before his death.

JetBlue Just Added New Lounge Access and $1,500 Companion Perks to Its Premium Travel Card
If you’ve been watching the "arms race" of premium travel cards lately, you know the trend has been simple: more perks, but much higher fees. JetBlue is officially breaking that cycle. The airline just announced a massive refresh for its JetBlue Premier World Elite Mastercard, stacking it with new lounge access and huge statement credits while keeping the annual fee locked at its current rate.
The most immediate win for anyone flying out of the Northeast is the ground game. JetBlue is expanding its signature BlueHouse lounge—which has been a hit at JFK for its "chic city apartment" vibe—to Boston Logan’s Terminal C this summer. As a Premier cardmember, you (and a guest) get in for free, which is a significant value-add when you consider that high-end lounge memberships can often cost more than the card itself.
Related: JetBlue Just Launched a First-of-Its-Kind Monthly Subscription
View this post on InstagramBeyond the lounge, JetBlue is clearly trying to make the path to elite status a lot less of a grind. Starting this spring, cardmembers get a 25-tile bonus at the beginning of every year. Since Mosaic 1 status kicks in at 50 tiles, you’re essentially halfway to priority boarding and free "Even More Space" seats before you even pack a bag. They’ve also added a tiered Companion Pass credit—spend $15k in a year and you get $500 back toward a friend's ticket; hit $75k and that credit jumps to $1,500.
When you look at the competition, the strategy is pretty smart. Most "mid-range" airline cards in this space, like the Delta SkyMiles Platinum ($350) or the United Quest Card ($250), offer great miles but usually leave you hanging when it comes to lounge access. On the flip side, the "heavy hitters" like the Delta SkyMiles Reserve ($650) or United Club Infinite ($650) include lounge access but come with much higher annual fees and increasingly strict visit limits.
Related: This Major U.S. Airline Has the Roomiest Economy Seat—but Not for Long
The same "squeeze" is happening with broad travel favorites. Popular mid-range picks like the Chase Sapphire Preferred or the Capital One Venture are great for racking up points, but they typically don't offer any complimentary lounge access at all. To get that perk, you usually have to jump up to the "big" cards, but even those have changed recently. The Chase Sapphire Reserve now carries a $795 annual fee, and the Capital One Venture X ($395) just overhauled its rules, requiring a $75,000 annual spend just to bring a guest into a lounge for free.
Is It Worth the Upgrade? If you already love the $99 JetBlue Plus Card, you aren't actually missing out on the "point-earning" speed—both cards still offer the same 6x points on JetBlue flights and 2x at grocery stores and restaurants. The decision to upgrade really comes down to how you value the airport experience. If you’re a frequent traveler who would actually use the BlueHouse or Priority Pass lounges, and you’re chasing that Mosaic status for the free upgrades, the extra fee pays for itself almost immediately. However, if you’re a casual flier who just wants a great sign-on bonus for free flights and JetBlue's frequent points sales, sticking with the $99 version is likely your best bet.

World Market Is Selling a Chic Patio Chair That Looks Strikingly Similar to a Crate & Barrel Style Over 3x the Price
If you love Crate & Barrel's furniture and home decor but not so much the brand's price range, you're not alone. Luckily, the year is 2026, and dupes abound. Right now, World Market is selling a chic patio chair that is twinning with a popular Crate & Barrel style for over three times the cost. The resemblance is uncanny. The two chairs look nearly identical.
World Market's Dominico Natural Acacia Wood Curved Back Outdoor Chair looks strikingly similar to Crate & Barrel's Neighbor Haven Canvas Outdoor Chair. However, Crate & Barrel's version retails for $1640, while World Market's retails for $499.99. This means Crate & Barrel's is over three times as expensive as World Market's.
Dominico Natural Acacia Wood Curved Back Outdoor Chair, $499.99 at World MarketWorld Market
Just like Crate & Barrel's patio chair, World Market's features a light wood frame and ivory cushions. The materials differ: World Market's chair frame is made of acacia wood, and its cushions are made of polyester. Meanwhile, Crate & Barrel's outdoor chair's frame is made out of teak, and the cushions are canvas. However, the look and feel are nearly identical.
Another variation between the patio chairs is the shape. Crate & Barrel's frame is more angular, while World Market's chair is slightly curved. However, this is a subtle difference that doesn't make a huge impact in terms of the similarity between the two chairs' designs.
World Market's outdoor chair is super stylish and incredibly functional. It features removable cushions and removable inserts, making for easy cleaning when the time arrives. Just toss the slipcovers in the washing machine and line dry. However, make sure you don't wash the cushion inserts.
The removable nature of the cushions also makes it easier to prep for inclement weather. All you'd need to do is take the cushions off and bring them inside during summer thunderstorms. Do note that you should cover the chair frame during bad weather as well.
You can find World Market's Crate & Barrel lookalike on WorldMarket.com and in select World Market stores.

Lo Bosworth Gets Real About IVF Journey: ‘We Are So Grateful’
Laguna Beach alum Lo Bosworth opened up about her IVF journey, ahead of the much-anticipated April 10 reunion.
The former Laguna Beach and The Hills reality star/Love Wellness healthy lifestyle entrepreneur welcomed her first child, daughter Nelle Natale (with husband, financial investor Dom Natale), in January 2026. And according to a new Instagram post, the road to mommyhood wasn’t exactly easy.
View this post on InstagramBosworth recently wrote (on her Instagram page), “Every IVF journey looks so different. Every decision can make an impact, good and bad, from the doctors to the labs to the meds to the lifestyle choices. It can be a little bit of a black box, with one round totally different from the next.”
Lo went on to add, “Sometimes it works, sometimes you have to keep going. Sometime;s you can’t. Ours was a journey of endurance and we’re so, so lucky we got our miracle baby.” She also wished other hopeful parents well, writing, “Sending our love and hope to everyone on the path.”
Along with the caption, Bosworth posted a carousel of photos, chronicling her journey from 2026 to 2026. The new mom started with a selfie from her first egg retrieval, back in June of 2020. She moved on to her second round in 2022, adding, “Got only 5 eggs. Felt devastated.” The montage of pics continued, moving on to a sweet snapshot of herself and her husband, Dom Natale: “Met the one.”
After meeting and marrying Natale, Bosworth continued the IVF process. The reality TV star explained, “2024. Did all we could to prep for round 3. Lifestyle choices, healthy eating, acupuncture, you name it. Even got a caboodle to stay positive.”
By 2025, the hopeful mama still wasn’t pregnant. That’s when, according to Bosworth, doctors discovered that she had endometriosis. In April of that year, she attempted another transfer and, as the rest of her photos show, it worked.
The 39-year-old ended her IVF story by sharing a sweet sentiment and a mommy-daughter selfie, “We are so grateful. If you’re on a similar journey, know that the road can be winding and long. What awaits you on the other side is worth the amazing effort.”
Bosworth’s candid post stirred up emotions, with commenters adding their very personal IVF experiences. One hopeful-mommy wrote, “Reading this as I am sitting here cuddling my 3 week IVF baby. My journey luckily, wasn’t too hard, which was good since I’m doing it on my own. I’m so happy I went ahead and did it,” and another said, “Wow! This gives me hope! Thank you for sharing!”
Prince William’s Next Big Step in the Royal Family Revealed
Prince William's next big step in the royal family could redefine his role in the monarchy, claims a royal reporter.
In a Substack, royal reporter Rob Shuter made bold claims about the Prince of Wales and how his rule will differ from both Queen Elizabeth and King Charles.
“William is not afraid to make hard calls. And right now, that’s exactly what the royal family needs," a royal source told Shuter.
“Charles leads with his heart. William leads with strategy. [William] doesn’t forget, and he doesn’t forgive easily. If you cross the line, that’s it.”

Additionally, the source told Shuter, “The monarchy is under more pressure than ever. You need someone who can make tough, unpopular decisions. He understands the stakes."
Justin Tallis - WPA Pool/Getty Images"This isn't just family, it's a business. He’s not trying to be liked,” the source concluded. “He’s trying to protect the monarchy.”
Since Queen Elizabeth’s passing, King Charles’s ascension, and Charles and Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnoses, William has stepped quickly into a more demanding royal role. Since 2022, he's carried the responsibilities of the role, without the weight of the crown.

In addition, William has had to contend with Prince Harry’s estrangement from the royal family and his uncle Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s very public scandals. Both challenges have shaken the monarchy, yet William continues to maintain a composed public presence, carrying the institution’s image forward.

In 2025, The Telegraph reported that one of William's biggest tasks since taking over as the Duke of Cornwall was responsibility for The Duchy. It is a vast private estate that provides income to the heir to the British throne, encompassing land, property, and investments across England.
Duchy state Director Ben Murphy added that William has a “healthy impatience, as his father did.” Murphy claims this “puts the wind in our sails; he really cares."
William told The Telegraph, "I see the Duchy as an extension of the work we do with the Royal Foundation. I see it as a branch of my philanthropy.."
He continued, “There’s so much good we can do in the rural world. I see it [the Duchy] as another arm to the work that I want to do, which is being a positive force for good. I think the Duchy has got way more levels and gears they can go through to be able to be a bigger force in the community.”
Prince William is first in line for the British throne. He will succeed to the role upon the passing of his father, King Charles.

There Are Less Than 8 Days Until Tax Day: Here's What to Do If You're About to Miss the Deadline
There's an old adage that the only two guarantees in life are death and taxes. And while many of us don't know exactly when we'll shuffle off this mortal coil, just about every American knows that tax time falls on April 15 most years.
However, not everyone is ready to file their taxes by April 15. Are you one of the people who needs a little bit more time before you're ready to file your 2025 income taxes? Keep reading to find out what you need to know about missing the tax filing deadline, and what you can do to avoid those hefty fines and penalties that can accrue as a result.
What Happens When You File Your Taxes LateLet's address the elephant in the room right off the bat. Filing your taxes late—AKA after the April 15 deadline—can result in penalties of up to 25 percent of your unpaid taxes, as well as additional interest charges that accrue monthly.
If you file your taxes within 60 days of the due date, you'll only face a penalty of 5 percent of your unpaid taxes, according to Empower, and that interest charge ends up amounting to around .5 percent a month. So, as you can see, even being a little late can be expensive.
Related: Dave Ramsey's 'Sage Advice' Has People Calling Him a Giant Hypocrite
On the flip side, if you are owed a refund, then failing to file your taxes on time will simply result in Uncle Sam holding on to your money until you decide to file. But that doesn't mean you have an unlimited window to file if you want your money, since you only have 3 years from the filing deadline to file your return and get your refund.
Of course, some taxpayers are allowed to pay their taxes late, and they don't even need to worry about being assessed extra fees and penalties. According to the IRS, they include:
- Those living in certain disaster areas
- Those living and working outside of the U.S. and Puerto Rico
- On duty military members who are stationed outside of the U.S., Puerto Rico, or those in active combat zones
Now for some good news. Those who cannot file their taxes by the April 15 deadline do have another option. That's right, you can request an extension to file your taxes. Requesting an extension will give you until Oct. 15 to file your taxes. This is a great option for anyone who needs a little more time to gather their tax documents, meet with an accountant, or otherwise get their ducks in a row so they're ready to file.
However, there is a catch. While this option gives people a bit more time to get their paperwork in, it does not give them more time to pay their taxes. So, if you know you're going to owe Uncle Sam $10,000 on April 15, you still have to send that money in, even if you do request an extension to submit your tax return a little bit later. If you don't, you will still be assessed penalties and fines on the unpaid portion of your taxes. To file for an extension, you will need to complete IRS Form 4868.
Can I Get More Time to Pay My Taxes? If you know you're going to owe money, and you're struggling to figure out how you will pay your income tax bill, you still have some options. According to the IRS, you can set up a payment plan, request information on penalty abatement, which can help reduce the amount of fees you are assessed for paying your taxes late, and request help through tax relief programs.
Of course, the sooner you reach out to the IRS for help, the better. With tax time rapidly approaching, phone lines will be extra busy, making it harder than usual to reach IRS employees. Speaking from experience, I know how stressful this time of year can be for anyone who owes money. While it may seem easier to ignore the problem and hope it goes away, the best course of action is to get ahead of it by reaching out for help and following the instructions on the IRS website.
TikTok Favorite Author’s New Release Hits the Top Spot on Audible During Its First Week — And I’m Not Surprised!
Certain new books will always immediately capture a reader’s (or in Audible’s case, a listener’s) attention. These are often highly anticipated hits, and there’s no doubt that TikTok viral sensations make it to that type of list.
Game On by Navessa Allen is the third in her Into Darkness series of books, which all started with the hit release Lights Out in 2024. The third novel quickly rose through the ranks, hitting the top post on Audible’s new releases during its first week.
‘Game On’ Is Another Smutty Novel for Dark-Romance FansIf you love dark romance, then the Into Darkness series is definitely for you. It all started with a wild idea on TikTok that Allen ended up creating. With already many people crying out for her to create the wild idea, it was pretty much guaranteed to be a success.
The best thing is you don’t need to read (or listen) to all of the novels in order. They are standalone stories within the same universe, and Game On, narrated by James Cassidy and Tara Langella, follows Tyler Neumann and Stella McCormick.
Tyler has spent years searching for his father in the hope of getting revenge. That’s all he wants after everything his father did, and he will manipulate everyone who gets in his way or can give him information.
That includes Stella, who he hates with a passon. She’s wealthy and privileged, setting herself up for an easy life, and he wants to hurt her because of that. Stella also hates Tyler, but things start to change when the two end up meeting and both find themselves in a game of make believe. It’s an enemies-to-lovers trope with plenty of smut.
Already an Audible HitWhen it comes to “Hot New Releases” on Audible, it’s all purchases that count. This includes the pre-orders, which is why the eighth book in Matt Dinniman’s series, A Parade of Horribles, is sitting in second place right now, despite not being released until May 2026.
Game On has take the top spot even with that in mind. It was released on March 31, 2026, and became an immediate bestseller on the audiobook app. It is also available in paperback and Kindle versions if you prefer to physically read rather than listen.
Here’s Exactly What Happens to Your Blood Pressure When You Eat Blueberries
If you want to improve your health, don’t underestimate the power of small, yet consistent habits. For example, did you know that walking just 20 minutes a day can decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease, reduce your risk of dementia and protect your joints?
Integrating blueberries into your diet is another small, yet powerful habit. While what impacts health the most is diet overall and it’s important to eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods instead of zeroing in on just one, blueberries bring a lot to the table, so to speak. “Blueberries, like all berries, are a wonderful option to include in your diet routinely,” says Melissa Caiola, RDN, a cardiovascular registered dietitian with DukeWELL.
Related: The One Thing You Should Never Do Immediately After Waking up if You Have High Blood Pressure
Right now is the best time of year to buy fresh blueberries because they’re in season from April through September, depending on where you live in the U.S. But Caiola says that frozen blueberries are just as nutritious, can be bought year-round and are often less expensive than fresh blueberries.
As if the delicious, tart taste of blueberries isn’t enough of a reason to integrate them into your diet, blueberries can play a particularly effective role in supporting your heart, including lowering blood pressure.

How Eating Blueberries Impacts Blood PressureBlueberries are a particularly powerful heart-healthy food. “The high levels of antioxidants and polyphenols in blueberries help to reduce inflammation in the body and promote vasodilation and blood vessel function, which helps improve circulation,” says Abbie Gellman, RD, CDN,a registered dietitian and the author of The Mediterranean DASH Diet.
Caiola adds to this, explaining, “Studies suggest that these antioxidants can reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, leading to improved vascular function, which helps to support heart health.”
According to a 2024 scientific study published in Frontiers in Nutrition, regularly consuming blueberries lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. The study also says that eating blueberries regularly is linked to lowering blood pressure.
Related: 'I'm a Cardiologist—Here's How To Know When You Should Go on Blood Pressure Medication'
“Aside from salt and fluid, there are no foods that can significantly impact blood pressure immediately after eating. However, one study conducted in 2019 by The Journals of Gerontology: Series A suggests that approximately one cup of blueberries can modestly reduce systolic blood pressure by five points within one to two hours after consumption by dilating blood vessels, which improves blood flow,” Caiola says. Both dietitians say that regularly eating blueberries can help support blood pressure long-term, too.
Besides helping to lower blood pressure, Gellman shares that regularly eating blueberries can help lower LDL “bad” cholesterol. “Eating blueberries consistently can help to improve blood pressure and cholesterol levels over time, helping to reduce cardiovascular disease and coronary artery disease,” adds Caiola.
Related: The One Habit That Can Lower Blood Pressure Overnight, According to a Cardiologist
Other Health Benefits of BlueberriesClearly, blueberries are a great food for heart health. But both dietitians say that they benefit the body in other ways too. Gellman says that the high antioxidant content in blueberries doesn’t just help lower the risk of cardiovascular disease; they’re also good for brain health. “Anthocyanins, which come from the deep-blue color of the blueberry, and their high antioxidant activity, help protect the brain from oxidative stress and may help with age-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s."
Blueberries also contain vitamin C, which Gellman says directly supports the immune system. Besides supporting immune health, Caiola explains that vitamin C helps with metabolism, wound healing and reducing oxidative stress in the body. “Vitamin C also plays a role in supporting specialized cells in our blood and lymphatic vessels called endothelial cells, which aid in overall cardiovascular health and blood pressure management,” she says.
Another nutrient found in blueberries is manganese. “Manganese helps with blood sugar control and metabolism,” Gellman says. On top of that, Caiola adds that manganese plays a role in bone health and immune response. Vitamin K is yet another nutrient found in blueberries, which both dietitians say helps with blood clotting and bone health.
“Blueberries, and berries in general, are a nutrition powerhouse that can improve blood sugar management, keep you fuller for longer, improve fiber consumption, reduce inflammation and support brain function,” Caiola says.
It bears repeating that the best diet is one that contains a wide variety of nutrient-rich foods, but blueberries’ many benefits prove that it’s definitely worth taking advantage of the fact that they’re so accessible right now, while they’re in season. It’s a sweet treat that supports your heart!

While Hasselhoff hasn't posted on Instagram since January in honor of his grandmother, his wife gave fans a small update in March. She posted a video of the actor enjoying breakfast poolside while on vacation, with the caption, "Wow cool. Schön das es euch gut geht. LG aus Österreich Austria."

While Hasselhoff appears to be enjoying some downtime, the Baywatch revival is currently underway with a new cast of actors in the iconic red swimsuits. The new series by FOX is scheduled to release this year and focus on an adult Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell) as the new captain. Original Baywatch star David Chokachi, who played the role of Cody Madison, is set to reprise his role in the revival.
When it comes to the rest of the OG cast, Hasselhoff hasn't commented or confirmed if he will return. There are also no details on a possible guest appearance, seeing as the revival's main character is his on-screen character's son.
Goodreads Users Name an Unsurprising Book as the No. 1 Historical Fiction Favorite From March 2026
It’s not always easy to pick a favorite release in a month. After all, there are hundreds of books published, and they cover so many different genres. It’s a little easier to work through the list when a group of people all make it clear that one book in particular is a standout.
In March 2026, there was one book that stood out. More Goodreads users either completed or added Lady Tremaine by Rachel Hochhauser to their “Want to Read” list more out of any other book released during the month.
‘Lady Tremaine’ Was Reese’s Book Club’s March PickThe hype around the novel wasn’t all that surprising when you consider it became March’s pick for Reese’s Book Club. Many turn to Reese Witherspoon to see what she’s reading and recommends, as it helps to cut out some of the noise and the risk of the books that are published.
On top of that, the novel spoke volumes to people in love with fairy tales and Disney classics. Just how evil are the evil characters in these stories? They have their own tales and their own experiences.
We can look at Once Upon a Time to see how the lines can blur. The Evil Queen, Regina, turns out to be not quite as evil as she has always been made out to be. Her need for revenge is because she’s hurt, and hurt people hurt people. Lady Tremaine in Cinderella has her own backstory, and it’s one that Hochhauser tells with style.
A Story Worth the HypeThis isn’t just a story from a different perspective that brings hype purely for that. It’s a story that is worth the time, with Goodreads users who have read it giving it an average of 4.27 stars out of 5. Sure, there are a few 1-star reviews, but the majority of users rate it either 4- or 5-stars (at 42% and 43%, respectively).
The story is one that offers historical realism, despite it being about a woman from a fictional fairytale. This creates gothic drama, with each of the characters being morally complex. After all, even the fairest princess in the world isn’t perfect! So, it’s not surprising that Lady Tremaine has become the top pick from the month, and it’s definitely one you’ll want to put on your list.
‘Charlie’s Angels’ Star Cheryl Ladd Walked the Red Carpet With Her Daughter, and They’re Basically Twins
It's been 50 years since the pilot of Charlie’s Angels hit TV screens, and the stars are back together!
But for actress Cheryl Ladd, there was an important guest alongside her at the 2026 PaleyFest LA Charlie's Angels 50th Anniversary Celebration this week at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood: Her daughter, actress Jordan Ladd. And as anyone with a good pair of eyes could see, the duo are basically twins!
The two blonde beauties walked the red carpet together, and it's safe to say that Jordan, who is also an actress, could have played her mother's role in the original Charlie's Angels series.

What is Jaclyn Smith Up to These Days?Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith also rocked the red carpet at the big event. Recently, Smith’s dear friend Patrick Foley took to Instagram to honor the anniversary of Charlie's Angels with a photo of the stunner in pink pajamas. While it has been five decades since she first took on the role of Kelly Garrett, you wouldn’t know it. Smith glows in front of the camera!
“Today is the 50th anniversary of the pilot of my all-time favorite show, Charlie’s Angels 💝💝💝How lucky am I, I get to share the evening with my favorite angel Kelly Garrett @realjaclynsmith💖,” Foley captioned his photo, which showed him with his arm around a stunning Smith.
View this post on Instagram The Angels Still Honor Farrah FawcettWhile fifty years have passed, Smith hasn’t forgotten where she came from. As the years go on, she continues to honor her dear friend and fellow angel, Farrah Fawcett. Recently, Smith headed to the red carpet to join friends Morgan Fairchild, Donna Mills, and Alana Stewart to honor their late friend, who died of cancer in 2009. The event was a benefit for the Farrah Fawcett Foundation, which raises funds for HPV-related cancer research, patient assistance funds during treatment, and prevention programs.
Looking incredible in a monochromatic cream-colored suit, Smith glowed in front of the camera, as did the rest of the ladies.
“In Texas with my friends in support of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation and the annual TexMex Fiesta! What a wonderful time for a great cause. Thank you to everyone who joined us,” she captioned her photos.
View this post on InstagramReese's Book Club April 2026 Pick Is a Story of the Past Finding Its Way Back
The April 2026 pick for Reese Witherspoon and her book club is here. It’s all about romance and how the past finds us with the Reese’s Book Club top pick, Into the Blue by Emma Brodie. It’s certainly a change from the March pick, which brought us the other side of the Cinderella story.
In the email blast that came to all Reese’s Book Club subscribers, Witherspoon shared that the story sat with her after she ready it. It’s a story “about love, timing, and what happens when the past finds its way back into your life.” Something that drew her in the most was “the way it explores fate versus choice.”
This is a tale as old as time. Many of us constantly wonder if we have free will or if fate has a plan and will guide us to that plan eventually. Into the Blue explores the idea, while also focusing on the idea of choice when it comes to love.
About the Book ‘Into the Blue’Into the Blue follows AJ and Noah, who are thrust together as scene partners, and there’s no doubt that their chemistry is undeniable. The two have attempted to pull away from each other in the past because they know that the feelings are there and they’re real. However, what if acting on those feelings changes everything? Is either of them willing to act on them to test the possibility?
As usual, Witherspoon and her team are working with Target to bring an exclusive release. You can get an edition of Into the Blue with a bonus chapter, which is from a new POV — no spoilers on who that POV is or why it’s important! There’s also a playlist that is completely inspired by the Y2K era, which has certainly been making a comeback in recent years!

About the Author Emma BrodieBrodie has worked in publishing for more than a decade, but released her debut novel, Songs in Ursa Major, in 2021, which received the American Book Award. A love story set in the 1960s, it brought up an important question for female artists. How much are they willing to sacrifice for the sake of their dreams?

Reese’s Head-Turning Peanut Butter Cup Flavor Is Back—for Now
Reese's is bringing back a peanut butter cup flavor that immediately caught fans' attention when it was first released last year.
With Easter officially behind us, the Hershey Company's beloved egg-shaped Reese's and variety mixes are already disappearing from shelves, but there won't be any empty spaces left behind as the popular candy maker has not one but two returning favorites on their way to stores.
Both of the revived flavors are inspired by classic lunchtime meals and one—Reese's Marshmallow Cup—hasn't been seen in stores for nearly 20 years, as Parade previously reported in February. Now we've officially gotten word that another, more divisive, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup variety is coming back: Reese's Strawberry PB&J Cup.

"Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, lunch lost its magic," Melissa Blette, senior brand manager at Reese's, shared in a statement on Tuesday, April 7. "Reese'sis here to shake things up and bring the fun back with a bold, signature combination that is unmistakably Reese's. We took flavors people grew up loving and combined them with our iconic peanut butter cup, because if you're going to do lunch, you might as well do it the Reese'sway."
Reese's Brings Back Its Strawberry PB&J Cup for a Limited TimeAccording to an official description provided in the press release, Reese's Strawberry PB&J Cup features the same signature milk chocolate andclassic peanut butter found in the original Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, just with an added layer of sweetness from the strawberry-flavored filling.

When the PB&J-inspired line first debuted in the spring of 2025, it was also available in a grape-flavored version. That variety does not appear to be coming back this year. The Hershey Company did not explain why it's only bringing back the berry variety. However, we can only imagine the decision has to do with its popularity among consumers since the brand did say the Strawberry PB&J "quickly became a standout, and bringing it back was an easy yes."

Where Will Reese's Strawberry Peanut Butter and Jelly-Flavored Cups Be Available?Hershey's suggests that the returning Reese's Strawberry PB&J Cups (as well as its Marshmallow Cups) are now available nationwide, but only for a limited time.
Shoppers should be able to find the fan-favorite peanut butter cup flavors in Standard Big Cups, King Big Cups and Snack Size Bag sizes at retailers that typically carry seasonal and limited-time Hershey's offers (prices may vary).

Meryl Streep and Anna Wintour Talk Grandparenting in New Interview Ahead of ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ Release
As fans impatiently await the upcoming May 1 The Devil Wears Prada 2 release, Vogueis giving them a treat. The haute fashion magazine the movie was modeled after just published a new interview (for the May 2026 cover story) featuring actress Meryl Streepand the IRL icon behind Miranda Priestly, none other than Anna Wintour.
‘Gird your loins,’ because this pair isn’t holding back. The duo sat down with filmmaker Greta Gerwig for a roundtable of sorts, opening up about everything from power suits to parenting.
Streep is more than an Academy Award-winning actress. The Devil Wears Prada star is also the mom of four (with husband Don Gummer) and a grandma. Even though Streep keeps her family life relatively private, some of her children are very public figures. Daughter Grace Gummer (39) recently starred as John F. Kennedy Jr.’ssisterCaroline Kennedy in FX’s Love Story. Gummer’s real-life siblings include older brother Henry Wolfe Gummer (46), along with sisters, actresses Mamie Gummer (42) and Lousia Jacobson (34).
Streep’s son, Henry, has two children, Ida June Gummer and Quinn William Gummer. His sister Grace and musician Mark Ronson also have two children (a daughter, Ruthie, and a younger kiddo born in 2025). Like her sister and brother, Mamie Gummer has two little ones—Peter (born in 2019) and Mary (born in 2019). And that makes Streep the grandmother of six.
Gerwig questioned Streep about her family during the recent Vogueinterview, noting, “I got very excited thinking of interviewing you because nobody asks about being a grandmother…How does being a grandmother balance with work?”
Streep candidly replied, “It’s just grabbing seconds, just grabbing everything you can of them, with the knowledge of how completely fleeting it all is and how rapidly time goes.” She continued, “I have six grandchildren, six under six…I hope we’re not done, but we’ll see.”
View this post on InstagramThe actress also opened up about getting to spend plenty of QT with her grandkids, “I can’t even talk about how much it means to me that my kids give me as much time as they do with their kids.”
While Streep’s TheDevil Wears Prada character has twin daughters, the former editor-in-chief of Vogue has a son, Charles, and a daughter, Bee (whom she shares with ex-husband David Shaffer). When asked about grandchildren in her recent interview, Wintour told Gerwig, “I don’t have as many as Meryl. I only have four, and I have four step-grandchildren that grew up all around us.”
Of course, Wintour also spoke about life as one of the hardest-working working moms, “Being a mother when you have the jobs that we have—you have to make the time. I was relentless about going to the games and turning up at the parent-teacher meetings.” Style maven Anna Wintour at her kid’s soccer or baseball game with the rest of the regular moms and dads? That’s something no one had on their bingo card.
Wintour also stressed the importance of putting family first, “I felt like Vogue could always wait and that it’s okay to be a busy mother. You make it work.” She added, “I try to instill in my children and my grandchildren that it’s family that counts and family who will give you love and support.”
And as Miranda Priestly famously said, “That’s all.” Okay, so maybe that isn’t “all.” You can read the rest of the absolutely intriguing interview with these two trailblazing legends in the May issue of Vogue.

Serwall Outdoor Rocking Chair, From $97 (was $200) at WalmartClassic yet capable of battling the elements, this "beautiful" HDPE rocking chair can really be left outside year-round without worrying. The high-density polyethylene construction can handle sun, rain, and temperature changes that would usually ruin a wooden chair. It has a broad, ergonomic back with a sturdy crossbar to keep everything balanced and to prevent tipping or creaking. The wide slats allow rain to drain quickly, requiring a simple wipe if it gets too wet, and you don’t have to sand/seal it like a wooden chair either.
One of the most helpful reviewers said that the chair is “solid, well-built, and feels like it'll hold up for years.” Another shopper noted, “This chair has totally exceeded my expectations,” which is something many other reviewers commented on. The same reviewer went on to say that the “classic design and sturdy build make it a standout feature on my porch.”

Also, if you’re worried that the chair might not be able to hold heavier/multiple people, one reviewer wrote, “These are substantial chairs that can comfortably support larger individuals without any wobble or strain.” While the chair does require a bit of assembly, most of the positive reviewers who commented on it wrote that it’s pretty easy to do on your own.
Classic and weatherproof, the Serwall Outdoor Rocking Chair is ready to go for $97. Considering that the chair is on clearance, now’s the time to pick one up before it’s too late.

Nikki Glaser Says 'DWTS' Elimination Was 'One Of The Most Humiliating Moments Of My Life'
While comedian Nikki Glaser can now look back on her time on Dancing with the Starsin 2018 fondly, the fact that she was eliminated very early on in the competition still remains an embarrassing moment for her.
Chatting on the latest podcast episode of 'Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard,' Glaser recounted her time on DWTS when she was partnered with pro Gleb Savchenko for Season 27.
"I knew I couldn't dance when I signed up for it but I didn't really know, it was almost like 'maybe I'm great and I'll found out,'" she recalled. "I walked in and saw [Savchenko's] eyes light up, he didn't know who I was but you could see he was like, 'this looks like a dancer.'
"For the cameras we just had to do a little thing, the smallest thing, I just saw the hope drain from his face instantly," she added of their first filmed rehearsal. "He knew before I knew I couldn't dance, he was like 'we're not gonna make it far.'"
And while she was recalling her short stint on the show with laughter, she shared how it still stings to have been eliminated first.
Related: Will 'Dancing with the Stars' Return for Season 35?
"It was one of the most humiliating moments of my life getting voted off that show first," she said, adding that if she was able to stick around for a few more weeks she may have been more comfortable.
"You kind of get the hang of it and I was like, 'if I work hard at something, I can get good' so I was just about to get passed the place of 'I can kind of get a grasp on this.'" she said.
However, if the opportunity to return to the ballroom would to come her way again, she wouldn't say no.
"I would love to get back in there," she said. "If they did a Dancing with the Stars loser season, where it was all people that got voted off first or second, I would definitely do it," she said.

The 5 Secret Costco Travel Perks You Need to Use This Spring
With grocery prices consistently on the rise, most of us look at our Costco membership as a lifeline for bulk olive oil and that legendary $1.50 hot dog combo. But as any seasoned travel editor will tell you, the real magic of that red-and-white card isn't in the warehouse aisles—it’s in the Costco Travel portal.
While the platform has been a favorite for years, 2026 is bringing some major shifts to how members book their getaways. If you're looking to stretch your travel dollar this spring, here is how to navigate the newest perks like a pro.
Related: Costco Can Get You to St. Lucia for Dirt Cheap, Plus 4 More Travel Deals Happening for April 2026
The "More Stay, Less Pay" StrategyThe biggest win for 2026 is the expansion of the "More Stay, Less Pay" bundles. These aren't just your standard hotel discounts; they are strategically negotiated packages where you might stay five nights but only pay for four. Even better? Costco is doubling down on price transparency this year. Unlike those "discount" sites where a $100-per-night resort fee suddenly appears at checkout, Costco typically bakes those mandatory fees—which cover everything from Wi-Fi to beach chairs—directly into the upfront price.

Post-Trip Rewards (The "Travel Rebate")The most underrated perk remains the Digital Costco Shop Card. Think of this as a post-vacation gift to your future self. Many of the 2026 "Hot Buys"—including new April escapes to Maui and Cancun—include Shop Cards valued up to $400. These are emailed to you roughly 10 days after your trip begins, effectively acting as a rebate that pays for your next three months of groceries.

New Destinations for 2026If you feel like you’ve seen it all, the portal is introducing a wave of new hotel partnerships this season. We’re seeing a shift toward more high-concept and boutique experiences in cities like Nashville, Savannah and Salt Lake City, alongside new all-inclusive hubs in Germany and the Cook Islands. For the cruisers, 2026 marks the return of fan-favorite routes to the Mediterranean and Alaska, often bundled with shipboard credits and that signature Kirkland Signature value.

The "Global Warehouse" PerkYour membership is a passport in itself. With over 900 locations worldwide, your U.S. card allows you to "warehouse hop" during your international travels. It’s a brilliant way to discover region-specific treasures—like those cult-favorite chocolate-covered crêpes in the U.K. or premium Jamón in Spain—at local prices. Plus, it’s a reliable spot for a clean restroom and a cheap lunch when you're navigating an expensive city like London or Paris.
The "Hidden" ProtectionFinally, don't overlook the secondary driver perk. When you book a rental car through the portal with providers like Avis or Budget, the additional driver fee is almost always waived. On a week-long road trip, that’s an extra $100 in your pocket. Combined with their highly-rated travel insurance (offered through Zurich Insurance Group), it provides a level of security that makes even the most complex itinerary feel stress-free.
