Sons of Anarchy is getting a spinoff, but not one that fans were expecting, even more so as original series creator Kurt Sutter makes clear he’s not involved with the new project.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that the hit FX series ordered a wildly original “meta-thriller” spinoff titled Legends. Created and led by original series star Charlie Hunnam with Jonathan Goff, the spinoff also brings back almost all the original cast, including Ron Perlman, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates and Theo Rossi. Details on new cast members are still to be revealed.

Once news dropped of the spinoff, Sutter took to Instagram to reveal he’s gotten multiple fan questions about his involvement. The series creator says he’s “not involved, nor should I be” while sitting in a sauna sporting a yellow beanie.

“I know the news about Charlie’s show hit today, and I’m beginning to get some queries about it,” he said. “I just want to say my piece. I’m not involved with Legends at all — nor should I be. It has nothing to do with the characters I created, or the mythology. It’s really about the show and the legacy of the show, and, quite frankly, there are thousands of people who are responsible for that legacy.”

Sutter also adds that there’s no bad blood between him and Hunnam, and the actor’s decision to venture into the spinoff project using characters and storylines he created. Instead, Sutter reveals he gave the Sons of Anarchy star his full blessing and urges fans to watch, as the script is “really so well done.”

“I just want folks to know that Charlie came to me when he was in the process of pitching this to the network to ask for my blessing, knowing that the IP would probably not be able to be invoked for various reasons of legalese stuff,” he said. “I gave Charlie my full blessing. I wish nothing but the best for him in this project. My wife [star Katey Sagal] is in the project. I have nothing but love for [FX Networks chairman] John Landgraf and the folks at FX who have been so good to me, so generous. So it has my full-blown support.”

Legends will take on an interesting turn that outlets describe as being similar to the Tim Allen sci-fi film Galaxy Quest. The Sons of Anarchy spinoff follows the original characters at a “convention after more than a decade, the line between life and art blurs as the fractured brotherhood finds itself up against a real-world threat more dangerous than anything they ever faced in their show.”

As die-hard fans know, Hunnam’s character and many more from the original series were killed off as part of their emotional storylines. Legends will be a chance to see the beloved characters return as the main cast will play versions of themselves.

A journey to India with George Harrison unexpectedly planted the seed for one of Gary Wright’s biggest songs.

Released on Wright’s 1975 album The Dream Weaver, “Dream Weaver” grew out of the musician’s interest in spirituality and Eastern philosophy, an interest deepened by his friendship with the former Beatle. The ethereal track soon became Wright’s signature recording and one of the decade’s most recognizable soft rock hits.

Wright and Harrison had become close friends and musical collaborators during the early 1970s.

Wright played keyboards on Harrison’s landmark album All Things Must Pass, while Harrison later contributed to Wright’s solo work. Their friendship extended beyond the recording studio, and Wright eventually accompanied Harrison on a trip to India, where the two spent time exploring their shared spiritual interests.

It was there that Wright encountered the words that would inspire “Dream Weaver.”

Wright was reading Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda when he came across a poem containing the phrase “dream weaver.”

“One of the lines in the poem referred to the idea of the mind weaving dreams and the thought immediately occurred to me, weaver of dreams… Dream Weaver,” Wright recalled years later. “I wrote it down in my journal of song titles and forgot about it. Several months passed, and one weekend, while in the English countryside, I picked up my journal and came across the title ‘Dream Weaver.’ Feeling inspired, I picked up my acoustic guitar and began writing. The song was finished in an hour.”

The resulting recording sounded strikingly different from much of what surrounded it on mid-’70s radio.

Wright built “Dream Weaver” primarily around synthesizers and keyboards, creating a spacious, otherworldly atmosphere with remarkably little conventional guitar. Released as a single after appearing on The Dream Weaver in 1975, the song climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976, becoming one of the biggest successes of Wright’s career.

“I never thought that song would have been a single,” Wright later told Rock Cellar Magazine. “It was kind of an experimental track where I was using all kind of electronic sounds which I was very much into at that time in my life.”

Its hypnotic sound has proved remarkably durable.

“Dream Weaver” has remained a fixture of classic rock and soft rock radio while appearing throughout popular culture, including a memorable use in the 1992 comedy Wayne’s World.

“It was a huge career boost, and I saw the movie before–I saw excerpts–and I thought those guys were really funny,” Wright told Pop Dose. “Because they’d done it on Saturday Night Live and used my song. I really liked them; I think they’re great. So I didn’t see it as selling out or a harmful thing for my career. I actually thought it was a good thing; it went to #1, it was a smash success, and it turned a whole new generation of people onto my song.”

Interestingly, the song’s distinctive synthesizers also helped foreshadow the increasingly electronic direction popular music would take in the years that followed.

Fifty-one years after “Dream Weaver” first appeared, the song still possesses the dreamy atmosphere that made it stand apart in 1975. What began with a spiritual journey shared with George Harrison ultimately gave Gary Wright his signature song—and one of soft rock’s most enduring classics.

The English rock band The Verve experienced a breakthrough in 1997 with one of the best-selling albums in UK history, which featured the track “Bitter Sweet Symphony,” based on a Rolling Stones original that landed in hot water.

Formed in 1990, the band went through lineup changes, internal struggles, and more before releasing their album Urban Hymns. The album would become their biggest claim to fame thanks to the popularity of “Bitter Sweet Symphony,” which became an international hit. It landed at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 4 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart.

The song received multiple certifications and was tagged by Rolling Stone and NME as Single of the Year and was nominated for Best British Single at the 1998 Brit Awards. Its success continued when it was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song and named one of the greatest songs of the decade.

The Verve were at the top until they weren’t, due to how the track was created. “Bitter Sweet Symphony” was based on “The Last Time” by the Rolling Stones that they released in 1965 as their first original song. As the track was a hit in the UK, the band’s manager/producer Andrew Loog Oldham created an orchestral cover of it with the Andrew Oldham Orchestra, written by David Whitaker.

According to reports, the Verve songwriter Richard Ashcroft heard the orchestral version and thought they could turn it into their own hit. In 1997, the band negotiated rights to use a six-note sample of the string riff from Decca Records, who were copyright holders of the Rolling Stones. As a result, the band thought they were in the clear and developed “Bitter Sweet Symphony.”

Unknown to them, they overlooked a major aspect of the song’s copyrights. The Verve failed to get permission from Rolling Stones manager Allen Klein, who had rights to their songs pre-1970. “Bitter Sweet Symphony” was already released when they noticed the issue, but Klein refused to grant them a license for the sample. It resulted in a lawsuit between the Verve and ABKCO Records and led to the band relinquishing all royalties for the song.

The Verve’s bass player, Simon Jones, said, “We were told it was going to be a 50/50 split, and then they saw how well the record was doing. They rung up and said we want 100 percent or take it out of the shops, you don’t have much choice.”

Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were also given songwriting credits, with Ashcroft having bitterly joked that “Bitter Sweet Symphony” was the best song the duo wrote in 20 years. The controversy around the track wasn’t something that Jagger pushed for, as he once commented, “I’m out of whack here, this is serious lawyer shit. If the Verve can write a better song, they can keep the money.”

In 2019, Jagger, Richards, and Klein’s son ceded the rights to Ashcroft, who had received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors. At the ceremony, he said what they did was a “truly kind and magnanimous thing” and called the Rolling Stones the “greatest rock and roll band in the world.”

Vivian Campbell has some difficult news to share: his cancer has returned.

The Def Leppard guitarist, 63, revealed in a new interview that the donor stem cell transplant he received in January 2025 has failed to keep his Hodgkin’s lymphoma at bay. He’s now back in treatment to manage the disease.

“There’s only been one time that I felt it was gonna kill me,” Campbell said, reflecting on how scared he was in the winter of 2023 as the illness accelerated.

That fear is what pushed him toward the transplant in the first place. Doctors told him a donor procedure was his best shot at a cure, and in April 2025, a PET scan showed him completely clean, his first full remission in over a decade. He credited a 21-year-old donor and said he hoped to eventually thank them once identity restrictions lifted.

But the relief didn’t last. The transplant didn’t hold, and the cancer is back.

Campbell has been open about his health since he was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2013. The disease has returned multiple times over the years, sending him in and out of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other treatments. He even missed Def Leppard’s first show of 2025 while recovering from the transplant.

Despite the setback, those close to him say his attitude hasn’t wavered. Bandmates have described him as staying upbeat and determined throughout his years-long battle, something Campbell himself has pointed to as a source of strength.

Campbell joined Def Leppard in 1992, stepping in after the band’s original guitarist, Steve Clark, died the year before. Before that, he built his reputation in the early ’80s as the guitarist behind Dio’s breakout album, Holy Diver, and later spent time in Whitesnake’s lineup.

Def Leppard has stayed busy through it all, releasing the single “Rejoice” earlier this year and wrapping a sold-out residency in Las Vegas. The band has more shows on the calendar this summer, and for now, Campbell says he’s not letting the diagnosis slow him down.

As the investigation into Nashville and Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere’s death at 36 years old continues, with the DEA now reportedly joining the investigation, one of the late actress’s neighbors has come forward, sharing newfound insight into what she saw, heard and witnessed from Panettiere’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, who the star was with at the time of her passing.

Hickerson was previously charged with two felony counts of injuring a spouse or girlfriend connected to incidents involving Panettiere between May 2019 and Jan. 2020. Now, a neighbor, Mia Terrazzas, has come forward, sharing with Inside Edition that she was “terrified” of Hickerson. In addition to providing more insight into reports that Panettiere’s HOA had warned residents to call the police if they saw Hickerson on the property, Terrazzas explained what she saw from the couple at various points in their relationship.

Terrazzas, who reportedly called 911 at least half a dozen times regarding disturbances from Panettiere’s residence, said, “This predator was in our community. He never stopped living at her place. There were times he ripped apart her bathroom, where he just took a sledgehammer at five in the morning.”

Specifically regarding whether she had seen signs of domestic violence, Terrazzas explained, “I saw [Panettiere] leave I think twice in a gurney being taken away and didn’t know what was occurring at that time, but she appeared to be injured.”

The reactions to Panettiere’s death have been widespread, with many of her former co-stars posting tributes to her and an outpouring of support from fans continuing online. However, there have also been some rather serious responses to this tragic news, including an online campaign for Panettiere’s fans to boycott Neutrogena, due to a previous interview the actress gave in which she said the cosmetics brand had fired her following her sharing her experiences with postpartum depression.

Candace Cameron Bure’s gift for her pregnant daughter, Natasha Bure Perry, is sweet, sentimental, and hitting us right in the feels.

In the Aug. 19 upload shared on Instagram, the Full House alum gave fans a glimpse into her 28-year-old daughter’s baby shower.

“Celebrating my beautiful girl and the sweetest new chapter ahead. 🤍✨,” she captioned the photos, adding, “Natasha’s baby shower was beautiful, joyful, and filled with so much love. Seeing her surrounded by family and friends who already love baby P so deeply made my heart overflow.”

“Counting down the days until we meet this precious little one. CandyGram is READY,” she concluded.

In the photos, Cameron Bure couldn’t contain her excitement, flashing a big smile as she cradled her daughter’s bump. While Bure Perry wore her brunette hair in loose waves and opted for a cream off-the-shoulder lace gown that trailed behind her, her mother added pops of color into the photo op in a yellow, brown and red striped dress.

Additional photos in the slideshow revealed several of the gifts baby Perry received, though one stood out the most, capturing Bure Perry’s emotional reaction as she opened the present.

“My mom gave me the most special gift, I’m still freaking out over it,” she wrote on the photo.

She then revealed the backstory behind the gift, writing, “My Great Grandma handmade this sweet little top, which she put on my Grandma Barbara as a baby. My Grandma saved it and put it on my mom when she was little too… now my mom gave me the same top to put Baby P in. Passed down through generations.”

Many of Cameron Bure’s Hallmark and Great American Family colleagues sent well wishes in the comments, with Danica McKellar writing, “So beautiful!! ‘❤️,” while Lacey Chabert added, “Beautiful! Congratulations to your family!”

Long before he became a trusted creative force alongside icons like Jimmy Buffett, this legendary singer and songwriter was just a 20-year-old kid with an impressive debut single.

In 1977, one of those songs caught lightning in a bottle, earning Mac McAnally a place in the country-rock history books. What started as a breakthrough moment for the young songwriter didn’t just top the charts; it laid the groundwork for a legendary career that spanned five decades.

“It’s a Crazy World” peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of August 27, 1977. The song was a hit and eventually opened the door to a long career filled with collaborations, award-winning songwriting, and decades as a core member of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band.

In the decade after the success of his first hit, McAnally recorded 11 more LPs and had some minor successes. However, according to a quote reprinted by the Nashville Songwriters Foundation, he revealed: “I was born without the ambition to be the guy in the middle of the stage.”

Instead, the singer and songwriter moved to a behind-the-scenes role as a producer, session musician, and songwriter. According to his official website, he’s a “record-setting 10-time Country Music Association Musician of the Year, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member as well as Mississippi Musicians and Alabama Music Hall of Fame inductee, and GRAMMY nominee.”

Additionally, McAnally has worked with Alabama, Bob Segar, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, George Strait, Hank Williams Jr., Kenny Chesney, Keith Whitley, Lionel Richie, Willie Nelson, Sawyer Brown, Travis Tritt, Little Feat, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Tanya Tucker, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Lyle Lovett, Roy Orbison, and Linda Ronstadt.

But perhaps one of his greatest collaborations was with Jimmy Buffett. McAnally has been a touring member of Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band since 1998.

In an interview with American Songwriter, McAnally said Buffett introduced himself after he heard a copy of McAnally’s debut LP, which had the song “It’s a Crazy World” included as one of the tracks. McAnally said, “He wrote me a note and said, ‘We’re both storytellers. We’re both from Mississippi. We’re going to be friends.’”

“Jimmy believed in me before I really believed in myself,” he continued. They would go on to become friends, bandmates and collaborators on songs such as “Oysters and Pearls.”

The songwriter and musician added that Buffett “was fearless about everything all his life. Jimmy had that love for life. To get to stand to the right of that one-man nebula of talent and positive energy for almost four decades was one of the big blessings of my life.” 

Since Buffett’s 2023 death, longtime band members and collaborators like Mac McAnally, Peter Mayer, Nadirah Shakoor, Will Kimbrough, and Scotty Emerick share lead vocal duties during live shows. He also performs solo acoustic shows and has joint dates scheduled with artists like Amy Grant and Scotty Emerick through December 2026.

Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet became one of the defining albums of the 1980s, but the record nearly arrived with a very different cover.

In a recent interview with Absolute Radio, Jon Bon Jovi revealed that the band’s record label initially planned to release the album with a provocative photograph featuring a woman’s torso.

The singer wasn’t impressed.

“We’re 3,000 miles away in Vancouver,” Bon Jovi, 64 recalled.

“The record company takes this picture of a girl’s bosom, from her lips down to her belly button, and across her chest [they] write ‘Slippery When Wet.'”

The band was already dealing with enormous expectations surrounding the album, which was nearing release, with its lead single, “You Give Love a Bad Name,” receiving heavy radio play.

Then Bon Jovi saw the proposed artwork.

“And they send me this album cover, and I’m appalled by the cropping of the picture,” he said.

“It’s career suicide if you put this album cover out.”

The record company, however, had already gone ahead with the printing.

“And they said, ‘Well, we’ve printed up half a million of them; you’re f–ed!'” Bon Jovi recalled.

With the album’s release approaching, Bon Jovi said the artwork problem had become a serious issue.

“And I said, ‘We’re in trouble!'” he recalled.

So he went into a photo studio with the photographer and came up with a dramatically simpler solution.

Bon Jovi said he “squirted a black hefty bag” with water, wrote Slippery When Wet across it with his fingers and decided the makeshift image would become the album cover.

“And I said, ‘If it worked for AC/DC – Back in Black – it’s good enough for me. There’s your album cover!'”

The resulting image became one of the most recognizable album covers of the 1980s: a black trash bag covered in water droplets with the album title scrawled across it.

The original photograph wasn’t completely abandoned, however. The initial artwork was used for releases in Japan and some other territories.

Released in August 1986, the album launched Bon Jovi into the upper ranks of rock stardom.

It produced some of the band’s biggest songs, including “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.”

The album eventually became one of the best-selling records of the decade and established Bon Jovi as one of the biggest rock bands in the world.

And in the end, the album didn’t need a provocative photograph to sell it. Because a wet trash bag (and three huge rock hits) worked just fine.

Farm Aid began in 1985 during a severe economic crisis for American family farms. Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, and Neil Young organized the first benefit concert on September 22, 1985, in Champaign, Illinois, after Bob Dylan inspired a call to action by speaking about farmers’ struggles, according to the organization’s official website. Matthews joined the Board of Directors in 2001, Price in 2021, and Rateliff in 2026.

The first concert event was pulled together in just six weeks and raised over $7 million for America’s family farmers. Performers included Dylan, Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Loretta Lynn, Roy Orbison, and Tom Petty, among others.

The 2026 event will be anchored by CNN’s John Berman and Laura Coates from the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Bill Weir will provide on-the-ground reporting. 

In 2025, CNN’s live broadcast of the festival’s 40th anniversary reached 3.88 million people globally. In addition, viewers contributed more than $615,000 to Farm Aid.

Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles on TV shows like Heroes and Nashville and films like Remember the Titans and Ice Princess, died on Aug. 16 at the age of 36. She was found unresponsive in cardiac arrest at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina. While a cause of death remains pending, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has joined the investigation, ABC News reported.

“The Greenville City Police Department in South Carolina is the lead investigative agency, but the DEA is also assisting,” ABC wrote.

The DEA has joined the investigation a day after the Greenville police released a detailed report of the scene. According to the report, two men were at the apartment, including Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach Hickerson. They called 911 after they found Panettiere unresponsive. Once responders arrived, they attempted to resuscitate her, but she was later pronounced dead at the scene.

FOX Carolina reported that in Greenville 911 dispatch audio, responders can be heard discussing a possible overdose. A potential overdose is still being investigated.

Once it was revealed that Panettiere had died, her co-stars and fellow celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to the late actress.

“I wanted to acknowledge Hayden’s passing,” Alyson Stoner, who took over the voice acting role of Kairi after Panettiere in the Kingdom Hearts video game series, said in an emotional Instagram reel. “I’ve worked with Hayden [and] I worked with Hayden’s brother Jansen, and from one Kairi to another, I just wanted to acknowledge the tremendous loss, not only for the Kingdom Hearts family but, of course, all of the close loved ones and the millions of lives that Hayden reached.”

Jack Coleman, Panettiere’s on-screen father in Heroes, also paid tribute to the star.

“I’m heartbroken,” Coleman said. “I couldn’t begin to put my thoughts into words until now, and they will be inadequate. I’ve loved Hayden since day one of the pilot of Heroes, 20 years ago, when she introduced herself by shouting ‘daddy’ and throwing her arms around me. From that day on, she called me daddio. She was Haydini, because she was a magician.”

After an autopsy report on Panettiere was completed on Monday, it was revealed that “no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death.” The investigation is still ongoing.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! star and recently announced Dancing with the Stars contestant Guillermo Rodriguez may be the perfect partner for pro Witney Carson as the premiere date of Season 35 approaches.

On Wednesday, Carson, who recently announced her pregnancy, spoke with Extra TV host and DWTS icon Derek Hough about Rodriguez’s reaction to the news ahead of their time rehearsing together.

“I was worried telling him I was pregnant because I was like, ‘hopefully he’s okay with it,’ right?” she said. “He was like, ‘Actually, I’m really relieved because that means you’re going to take a lot of breaks for food,’ and I was like, ‘Right, yep, that’s true. I will.’

“He was like, ‘I like this. Good for me,'” she recalled.

Later that night, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, co-hosted by Rosie O’Donnell this week, Rodriguez echoed the fact Carson’s pregnancy actually made them the perfect pair.

“That’s good for me because she takes a lot of breaks,” he said. “She’s got to drink water, hydrating and everything.”

However, Rodriguez also shut down rumors that the two were strategically paired with the assumption they’d be eliminated early, allowing for Carson to rest.

“That’s not going to happen because I’m trying my best,” he said. “I’m working hard and I want to go all the way to the finals.”

Carson, 32, a two-time Dancing with the Stars champ, who won in Season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro — now host of the show — and most recently on Season 34 with Robert Irwin, said that competing while pregnant will be “the best” for her, professionally and personally.

“This is my livelihood. This is how I provide for my family,” she said. “I love dance so much, and I love Dancing with the Stars. I love competing. It was the right time to grow our family. So if I can do both, and the baby’s healthy, and I’m healthy, then why not do both? Like it’s the best of both worlds.”

Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premieres Sept. 15.

More than 50 years later, Bob Dylan’s “Simple Twist of Fate” remains one of his most powerful heartbreak songs. Released in 1975 on Blood on the Tracks, the track follows a brief romance that leaves one person alone, confused and wondering what might have been. 

Dylan had a way of writing about love and heartbreak that never felt predictable, and Blood on the Tracks was one of his best examples. The album digs into relationships, loss and all the messy emotions that come with love falling apart. 

“Simple Twist of Fate” stands out because Dylan doesn’t give listeners a straightforward explanation for what happened. Instead, the song tells a story of two people who meet, connect and spend the night together before going their separate ways.

“‘Twas then he felt alone,” Dylan sings, capturing the loneliness that hangs over the entire story. From there, the narrator is left wondering whether the woman will return to him, and how much longer he’ll have to hold out hope.

But by the end, Dylan changes things up. Instead of referring to the man as “he,” he suddenly switches to “I.” “I still believe she was my twin,” he sings. “But I lost the ring / She was born in spring / But I was born too late.” 

The switch makes the story a little harder to pin down. Maybe the narrator is the same man from earlier in the song, or maybe he’s using the story to reflect on his own heartbreak. Dylan leaves that question unanswered, allowing listeners to make their own connection.

Given what was happening in Dylan’s personal life, it’s hard not to read some of that into the song. He recorded “Simple Twist of Fate” in 1974, amid a difficult period in his marriage to Sara, his first wife, whom he’d wed in 1965.

Dylan has repeatedly denied that the songs on Blood on the Tracks were directly inspired by problems in their marriage. Still, the album has long been interpreted as a reflection of their relationship, particularly because the couple divorced in 1977. 

Even Dylan’s son Jakob has connected the album to his parents, once describing Blood on the Tracks as sounding like “my parents talking.” 

Whatever the real inspiration, the song has stood the test of time. Rolling Stone ranked it No. 15 on its list of the “100 Greatest Bob Dylan Songs.” According to the article accompanying the list, the song looks back at “an idyllic relationship that fell apart for reasons neither party can control” from the perspective of someone who “has moved on to meaningless one-night stands.” 

It wasn’t just a critical favorite, either. Blood on the Tracks reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 1975 and has since become one of the most celebrated albums of Dylan’s career.

Over the years, plenty of other artists have put their own spin on the song, including Joan Baez, Bryan Ferry, Diana Krall and Emma Swift, a sign of just how well it has held up. 

Even more than five decades later, the song remains easy to connect with. Sometimes love falls apart without a clear explanation, leaving you to wonder if it was the wrong choices, the wrong timing or just a “twist of fate.”

Daytime Emmy winner Bryan Craig, former Morgan Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital, next role has been revealed, and it’s one that fans will definitely be excited to see.

Craig has joined the upcoming feature film, The Weapon, where he will be playing the role of Miller. Described as “the youngest member of Fury’s original team. A brilliant recon and tech specialist, Miller is quick-witted and uses humor to keep fear at bay. But when everything goes wrong, his loyalty wins out over fear, and he follows his brothers into the fight.”

I68Studios announced his arrival on Instagram, teasing that the film is “ about brotherhood, sacrifice and what a man is willing to endure for the people he loves. Set against the backdrop of covert operations and a terrifying experiment that changes Isaiah Fury forever, this story asks what remains of a man when everything he thought made him human is stripped away.”

Production on the film is expected to begin next week, August 27, 2026, in Texas, with the release timeline not yet revealed.

Craig joined the cast of General Hospital in 2013, portraying Morgan Corinthos, the son of mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Quickly becoming a fan-favorite due to his electric on-screen chemistry with his scene partners. During his time on the show, Craig was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards, winning twice, in 2016 and 2017.

Sarah Paulson‘s transformation into serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the upcoming trailer for Netflix’s Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story is utterly shocking.

Paulson, 51, is an acclaimed actress who has tackled roles ranging from Marcia Clark in the FX limited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story to Nurse Ratched in the thriller series Ratched. But in the trailer for Monster, which is helmed by her frequent collaborator Ryan Murphy, Paulson undergoes a massive makeover (or make-under) to transform into Wuornos. The serial killer was famously played by Charlize Theron in the 2003 film Monster, for which Theron won an Academy Award.

A Juilliard-trained actress, Beatty made waves starring alongside Hugh Jackman in Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre. In the play, Beatty’s character is a college student who becomes involved with her older, successful professor, played by Jackman.

Despite the world knowing him as a megastar, Beatty previously said she didn’t feel the least bit starstruck by Jackman.

“There is nobody less movie-starry in the world than Hugh Jackman,” Beatty said recently in a piece in Interview. “He’s the most generous, loving, open, kind, hardworking person. He’s done so much musical theater, and you can see that in the way that he shows up to work. Nobody works harder than musical theater performers—they’re such athletes. You can see that in his sensibility around learning lines. So I was intimidated, but when we sat down to do the first reading of the play in the fall, it was so animated immediately that it became about the play very quickly.”

The rising theater star is in final talks to join Billie Eilish and Carey Mulligan in the film adaptation of Sylvia Plath‘s iconic novel, Deadline reported. While it’s not yet clear who Beatty will play in The Bell Jar, we know that Eilish will make her acting debut in the role of protagonist Esther Greenwood, while Mulligan will play her mother. Sarah Polley is set to direct.

The 1963 novel, which mirrors Plath’s personal story, was previously adapted for the screen in 1979, and starred Marilyn Hassett in the role of Greenwood. A 2003 film, Sylvia, starring Gwyneth Paltrow in the role of the iconic poet, chronicled the writer’s life and tragic death by suicide.

Reba McEntire has spent five decades building one of the most successful careers in country music, but she wishes she had slowed down and enjoyed more of it along the way.

In a recent interview with Billboard marking her 50th anniversary in music, McEntire, 71, reflected on her early years in Nashville and the advice she now gives to younger artists.

Her biggest lesson?

Have fun.

“I was so serious when I had my music career in the ’70s and ’80s. Mainly the ’80s. I missed out on a lot of fun times,” McEntire said.

The country superstar now makes a point of passing that lesson along to the younger artists she mentors.

“So, all the kids I mentor now? I tell them to have fun,” she added.

“Write down everything you’re doing because it will fly by so fast that you won’t remember.”

It’s easy to look back at McEntire’s rise and see a country superstar seemingly enjoying every step of the journey.

But the singer, who began recording music in the 1970s, remembers those years differently.

McEntire moved to Nashville as a young woman after being discovered by country artist Red Steagall, who heard her sing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo. She recorded her first music in 1976, but it took years before she reached the top of the charts.

Her first No. 1 hit, “Can’t Even Get the Blues No More,” arrived in 1983. She later recalled that she didn’t receive a royalty check from her record sales until 1988, 12 years after signing with PolyGram Mercury Records.

By then, McEntire had already won four CMA Female Vocalist of the Year awards.

Her career was moving quickly, but her recent reflection suggests she wasn’t always stopping to appreciate what was happening around her.

After decades of performing, recording, acting and building a career that eventually expanded far beyond country music, she now knows how quickly those moments can disappear.

That willingness to try something different ultimately became an important part of her career.

Though it was technically established in 1894, it was in July 1940 that Billboard began ranking popular music. Year after year, the chart has carefully curated the top songs of the era, keeping its finger on the pulse of popular culture. For artists, having a song or album reach the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 is an untouchable milestone that often solidifies a place in music history. In the decades of charting, there have been over 1,200 No. 1 hits across genres. Recently, Collider attempted to rank those singles, dubbing Blondie‘s disco-infused smash “Heart of Glass” as the greatest No. 1 hit of all time.

Out of the top tracks listed, Blondie‘s hit outpaced legendary acts like The Beach Boys, The Beatles, U2, and Simon & Garfunkel.

“This is the definitive Blondie song, despite not entirely representing Blondie’s sound, if the band’s sound can even be defined,” reads the article.

Whether or not you agree with it being the single greatest No. 1 hit of all time, there is no denying the prowess and power of that song.

Released on Blondie‘s 1978 third studio album Parallel Lines, “Heart of Glass” was an unexpected sound from the popular punk and new wave band. But to understand the 1979 chart-topper, you have to back up to 1974, when Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein first began writing together.

Songfacts claimed Harry once stated on the show Words and Music that the song, lyrically, “was about a stalker who was pursuing me, and Chris saved me from him.”

At the time, they originally titled the track “The Disco Song” because that was the exact vibe they were going for—despite the fact that it was considered very “uncool” in their underground social circles to associate with disco at all.

“But we did it because we wanted to be uncool. It was based around a Roland Rhythm Machine and the backing took over 10 hours to get down,” Harry reportedly said in 1000 UK #1 Hits by Jon Kutner and Spencer Leigh.

“We didn’t expect the original to be that big,” Stein reportedly added. “We only did it as a novelty item to put more diversity into the album.”

In 1978, they re-recorded the song in a reggae style, but were quickly persuaded to change it before its official single release, allowing it to lean heavily into its electronic disco roots instead. Though the move was controversial in the punk and new wave community, it catapulted Blondie to mainstream global superstardom and remains a timeless classic.
