Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles on TV shows like Heroes and Nashville and films like Remember the Titans and Ice Princess, died on Aug. 16 at the age of 36. She was found unresponsive in cardiac arrest at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina. While a cause of death remains pending, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has joined the investigation, ABC News reported.

“The Greenville City Police Department in South Carolina is the lead investigative agency, but the DEA is also assisting,” ABC wrote.

The DEA has joined the investigation a day after the Greenville police released a detailed report of the scene. According to the report, two men were at the apartment, including Panettiere’s boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, and his brother, Zach Hickerson. They called 911 after they found Panettiere unresponsive. Once responders arrived, they attempted to resuscitate her, but she was later pronounced dead at the scene.

FOX Carolina reported that in Greenville 911 dispatch audio, responders can be heard discussing a possible overdose. A potential overdose is still being investigated.

Once it was revealed that Panettiere had died, her co-stars and fellow celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to the late actress.

“I wanted to acknowledge Hayden’s passing,” Alyson Stoner, who took over the voice acting role of Kairi after Panettiere in the Kingdom Hearts video game series, said in an emotional Instagram reel. “I’ve worked with Hayden [and] I worked with Hayden’s brother Jansen, and from one Kairi to another, I just wanted to acknowledge the tremendous loss, not only for the Kingdom Hearts family but, of course, all of the close loved ones and the millions of lives that Hayden reached.”

Jack Coleman, Panettiere’s on-screen father in Heroes, also paid tribute to the star.

“I’m heartbroken,” Coleman said. “I couldn’t begin to put my thoughts into words until now, and they will be inadequate. I’ve loved Hayden since day one of the pilot of Heroes, 20 years ago, when she introduced herself by shouting ‘daddy’ and throwing her arms around me. From that day on, she called me daddio. She was Haydini, because she was a magician.”

After an autopsy report on Panettiere was completed on Monday, it was revealed that “no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death.” The investigation is still ongoing.

Before Julia Roberts took everyone’s breath away as a beautiful “lady of the night” in Oscar- nominated Pretty Woman, her true breakout role came in 1988 as the spunky waitress in Mystic Pizza.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! star and recently announced Dancing with the Stars contestant Guillermo Rodriguez may be the perfect partner for pro Witney Carson as the premiere date of Season 35 approaches.

On Wednesday, Carson, who recently announced her pregnancy, spoke with Extra TV host and DWTS icon Derek Hough about Rodriguez’s reaction to the news ahead of their time rehearsing together.

“I was worried telling him I was pregnant because I was like, ‘hopefully he’s okay with it,’ right?” she said. “He was like, ‘Actually, I’m really relieved because that means you’re going to take a lot of breaks for food,’ and I was like, ‘Right, yep, that’s true. I will.’

“He was like, ‘I like this. Good for me,'” she recalled.

Later that night, on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, co-hosted by Rosie O’Donnell this week, Rodriguez echoed the fact Carson’s pregnancy actually made them the perfect pair.

“That’s good for me because she takes a lot of breaks,” he said. “She’s got to drink water, hydrating and everything.”

However, Rodriguez also shut down rumors that the two were strategically paired with the assumption they’d be eliminated early, allowing for Carson to rest.

“That’s not going to happen because I’m trying my best,” he said. “I’m working hard and I want to go all the way to the finals.”

Carson, 32, a two-time Dancing with the Stars champ, who won in Season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro — now host of the show — and most recently on Season 34 with Robert Irwin, said that competing while pregnant will be “the best” for her, professionally and personally.

“This is my livelihood. This is how I provide for my family,” she said. “I love dance so much, and I love Dancing with the Stars. I love competing. It was the right time to grow our family. So if I can do both, and the baby’s healthy, and I’m healthy, then why not do both? Like it’s the best of both worlds.”

Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premieres Sept. 15.

More than 50 years later, Bob Dylan’s “Simple Twist of Fate” remains one of his most powerful heartbreak songs. Released in 1975 on Blood on the Tracks, the track follows a brief romance that leaves one person alone, confused and wondering what might have been. 

Dylan had a way of writing about love and heartbreak that never felt predictable, and Blood on the Tracks was one of his best examples. The album digs into relationships, loss and all the messy emotions that come with love falling apart. 

“Simple Twist of Fate” stands out because Dylan doesn’t give listeners a straightforward explanation for what happened. Instead, the song tells a story of two people who meet, connect and spend the night together before going their separate ways.

“‘Twas then he felt alone,” Dylan sings, capturing the loneliness that hangs over the entire story. From there, the narrator is left wondering whether the woman will return to him, and how much longer he’ll have to hold out hope.

But by the end, Dylan changes things up. Instead of referring to the man as “he,” he suddenly switches to “I.” “I still believe she was my twin,” he sings. “But I lost the ring / She was born in spring / But I was born too late.” 

The switch makes the story a little harder to pin down. Maybe the narrator is the same man from earlier in the song, or maybe he’s using the story to reflect on his own heartbreak. Dylan leaves that question unanswered, allowing listeners to make their own connection.

Given what was happening in Dylan’s personal life, it’s hard not to read some of that into the song. He recorded “Simple Twist of Fate” in 1974, amid a difficult period in his marriage to Sara, his first wife, whom he’d wed in 1965.

Dylan has repeatedly denied that the songs on Blood on the Tracks were directly inspired by problems in their marriage. Still, the album has long been interpreted as a reflection of their relationship, particularly because the couple divorced in 1977. 

Even Dylan’s son Jakob has connected the album to his parents, once describing Blood on the Tracks as sounding like “my parents talking.” 

Whatever the real inspiration, the song has stood the test of time. Rolling Stone ranked it No. 15 on its list of the “100 Greatest Bob Dylan Songs.” According to the article accompanying the list, the song looks back at “an idyllic relationship that fell apart for reasons neither party can control” from the perspective of someone who “has moved on to meaningless one-night stands.” 

It wasn’t just a critical favorite, either. Blood on the Tracks reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 1975 and has since become one of the most celebrated albums of Dylan’s career.

Over the years, plenty of other artists have put their own spin on the song, including Joan Baez, Bryan Ferry, Diana Krall and Emma Swift, a sign of just how well it has held up. 

Even more than five decades later, the song remains easy to connect with. Sometimes love falls apart without a clear explanation, leaving you to wonder if it was the wrong choices, the wrong timing or just a “twist of fate.”

Daytime Emmy winner Bryan Craig, former Morgan Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital, next role has been revealed, and it’s one that fans will definitely be excited to see.

Craig has joined the upcoming feature film, The Weapon, where he will be playing the role of Miller. Described as “the youngest member of Fury’s original team. A brilliant recon and tech specialist, Miller is quick-witted and uses humor to keep fear at bay. But when everything goes wrong, his loyalty wins out over fear, and he follows his brothers into the fight.”

I68Studios announced his arrival on Instagram, teasing that the film is “ about brotherhood, sacrifice and what a man is willing to endure for the people he loves. Set against the backdrop of covert operations and a terrifying experiment that changes Isaiah Fury forever, this story asks what remains of a man when everything he thought made him human is stripped away.”

Production on the film is expected to begin next week, August 27, 2026, in Texas, with the release timeline not yet revealed.

Craig joined the cast of General Hospital in 2013, portraying Morgan Corinthos, the son of mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Quickly becoming a fan-favorite due to his electric on-screen chemistry with his scene partners. During his time on the show, Craig was nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards, winning twice, in 2016 and 2017.

Since leaving General Hospital in 2016, he has made appearances on the TV series Valor, Grand Hotel, and Good Trouble. His feature film credits include The Ride, American Fighter, Women are Losers, and That’s Amor.

Sarah Paulson‘s transformation into serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the upcoming trailer for Netflix’s Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story is utterly shocking.

Paulson, 51, is an acclaimed actress who has tackled roles ranging from Marcia Clark in the FX limited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story to Nurse Ratched in the thriller series Ratched. But in the trailer for Monster, which is helmed by her frequent collaborator Ryan Murphy, Paulson undergoes a massive makeover (or make-under) to transform into Wuornos. The serial killer was famously played by Charlize Theron in the 2003 film Monster, for which Theron won an Academy Award.

A Juilliard-trained actress, Beatty made waves starring alongside Hugh Jackman in Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre. In the play, Beatty’s character is a college student who becomes involved with her older, successful professor, played by Jackman.

Despite the world knowing him as a megastar, Beatty previously said she didn’t feel the least bit starstruck by Jackman.

“There is nobody less movie-starry in the world than Hugh Jackman,” Beatty said recently in a piece in Interview. “He’s the most generous, loving, open, kind, hardworking person. He’s done so much musical theater, and you can see that in the way that he shows up to work. Nobody works harder than musical theater performers—they’re such athletes. You can see that in his sensibility around learning lines. So I was intimidated, but when we sat down to do the first reading of the play in the fall, it was so animated immediately that it became about the play very quickly.”

The rising theater star is in final talks to join Billie Eilish and Carey Mulligan in the film adaptation of Sylvia Plath‘s iconic novel, Deadline reported. While it’s not yet clear who Beatty will play in The Bell Jar, we know that Eilish will make her acting debut in the role of protagonist Esther Greenwood, while Mulligan will play her mother. Sarah Polley is set to direct.

The 1963 novel, which mirrors Plath’s personal story, was previously adapted for the screen in 1979, and starred Marilyn Hassett in the role of Greenwood. A 2003 film, Sylvia, starring Gwyneth Paltrow in the role of the iconic poet, chronicled the writer’s life and tragic death by suicide.

Reba McEntire has spent five decades building one of the most successful careers in country music, but she wishes she had slowed down and enjoyed more of it along the way.

In a recent interview with Billboard marking her 50th anniversary in music, McEntire, 71, reflected on her early years in Nashville and the advice she now gives to younger artists.

Her biggest lesson?

Have fun.

“I was so serious when I had my music career in the ’70s and ’80s. Mainly the ’80s. I missed out on a lot of fun times,” McEntire said.

The country superstar now makes a point of passing that lesson along to the younger artists she mentors.

“So, all the kids I mentor now? I tell them to have fun,” she added.

“Write down everything you’re doing because it will fly by so fast that you won’t remember.”

It’s easy to look back at McEntire’s rise and see a country superstar seemingly enjoying every step of the journey.

But the singer, who began recording music in the 1970s, remembers those years differently.

McEntire moved to Nashville as a young woman after being discovered by country artist Red Steagall, who heard her sing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo. She recorded her first music in 1976, but it took years before she reached the top of the charts.

Her first No. 1 hit, “Can’t Even Get the Blues No More,” arrived in 1983. She later recalled that she didn’t receive a royalty check from her record sales until 1988, 12 years after signing with PolyGram Mercury Records.

By then, McEntire had already won four CMA Female Vocalist of the Year awards.

Her career was moving quickly, but her recent reflection suggests she wasn’t always stopping to appreciate what was happening around her.

After decades of performing, recording, acting and building a career that eventually expanded far beyond country music, she now knows how quickly those moments can disappear.

That willingness to try something different ultimately became an important part of her career.

Though it was technically established in 1894, it was in July 1940 that Billboard began ranking popular music. Year after year, the chart has carefully curated the top songs of the era, keeping its finger on the pulse of popular culture. For artists, having a song or album reach the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 is an untouchable milestone that often solidifies a place in music history. In the decades of charting, there have been over 1,200 No. 1 hits across genres. Recently, Collider attempted to rank those singles, dubbing Blondie‘s disco-infused smash “Heart of Glass” as the greatest No. 1 hit of all time.

Out of the top tracks listed, Blondie‘s hit outpaced legendary acts like The Beach Boys, The Beatles, U2, and Simon & Garfunkel.

“This is the definitive Blondie song, despite not entirely representing Blondie’s sound, if the band’s sound can even be defined,” reads the article.

Whether or not you agree with it being the single greatest No. 1 hit of all time, there is no denying the prowess and power of that song.

Released on Blondie‘s 1978 third studio album Parallel Lines, “Heart of Glass” was an unexpected sound from the popular punk and new wave band. But to understand the 1979 chart-topper, you have to back up to 1974, when Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein first began writing together.

Songfacts claimed Harry once stated on the show Words and Music that the song, lyrically, “was about a stalker who was pursuing me, and Chris saved me from him.”

At the time, they originally titled the track “The Disco Song” because that was the exact vibe they were going for—despite the fact that it was considered very “uncool” in their underground social circles to associate with disco at all.

“But we did it because we wanted to be uncool. It was based around a Roland Rhythm Machine and the backing took over 10 hours to get down,” Harry reportedly said in 1000 UK #1 Hits by Jon Kutner and Spencer Leigh.

“We didn’t expect the original to be that big,” Stein reportedly added. “We only did it as a novelty item to put more diversity into the album.”

In 1978, they re-recorded the song in a reggae style, but were quickly persuaded to change it before its official single release, allowing it to lean heavily into its electronic disco roots instead. Though the move was controversial in the punk and new wave community, it catapulted Blondie to mainstream global superstardom and remains a timeless classic.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You has some exciting news for their fans.

The American metal band, which was formed by Jesse Korman, Chree Conger, Justin Pedrick, Jamie McIlroy and Alexis Pareja in 2001 in Bergen County, New Jersey, revealed on Thursday morning that they will be releasing their sixth album, Howls from the Holographic Heart, this October via Equal Vision Records. This is their first LP since their 2019 release, Wild Gods.

“This is a very honest album,” frontman Korman said in a statement. “We don’t want to live up to what everyone just expects of us, and at this point in our career, we have nothing to lose.”

The group was allegedly created by “accident” with the original name And Ever. As their sound started to develop, the band eventually changed their name to The Number Twelve Looks Like You, inspired by the Twilight Zone episode title “Number 12 Looks Just Like You.”

Throughout the 2000s, The Number Twelve Looks Like You released multiple albums, including Mongrel, which peaked at No. 19 on Billboard‘s Heatseekers chart and No. 34 on the Top Independent Albums chart, then followed it up with Worse Than Alone in 2009, which also placed on the Heatseekers chart. Despite their success, the band ended up splitting in 2010, only to come back six years later.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You released Wild Gods in 2019, marking their first album in a decade at the time. Now, they are jumping into a new era with Howls From The Holographic Heart.

“For this album, we wanted to do what The Number Twelve Looks Like You does and write something that is just completely unexpected,” Korman said.

In addition to the album announcement, The Number Twelve Looks Like You has also released the music video for its lead single “Joy Is A Weapon.” Featuring Foxy Shazam, the track is about refusing to let anger, bitterness or the people who hurt you define who you become. All 12 tracks from Howls from the Holographic Heart were produced by Pareja, Jeremy Cormitas and Trae Titus.

“Sometimes the most powerful act of rebellion isn’t fighting back,” the band said on “Joy Is A Weapon,” the final song on the album. “It’s finding joy any way possible and refusing to be broken.”

In addition, The Number Twelve Looks Like You will be embarking on a national tour around the United States to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mongrel this fall, which kicks off on Sept. 25 in San Antonio. The series of concerts will run throughout October and will feature special guests Kaonashi, Blind Equation and Differences as supporting acts in select shows.

The Number Twelve Looks Like You have never been a band that followed the trends, and they have no plans to start now. From the cover image to the music to the overall aesthetic, Howls From The Holographic Heart is “a cohesive collection of songs that isn’t necessarily meant to appeal to everyone.”

AC/DC just announced a special tour opener for their St. Louis, MO, stop.

The Foo Fighters will be joining the iconic ’70s rock band for a very special one-night-only show.

The Instagram announcement read, “Foo Fighters join AC/DC as special guests for one night only in St. Louis, MO.”

“Foo Fighters are taking a special one-off detour from their Take Cover stadium tour to fill in for thier friend The Pretty Reckless as special guests,” it continued.

Rock music fans know this is a big deal, as the announcement underscored that the “performance brings two generations of rock’s biggest live acts together for a one-night-only event with the Foo Fighters opening for the band’s St. Louis tour stop.”

Fans couldn’t contain their excitement in the comments, as one noted, “Bring that one to Argentina and the earthquake could be epic 😂.”

“Never been so jealous in my life,” another quipped of those who get to see the show in St. Louis, while another questioned, “Is it too much to ask for them to do this in brazil?”

“WTF That is legendary awesome!!” someone else declared.

The show is set to take place in less than a month, at the Dome at America’s Center on Sept. 8, 2026, and the addition of the ’90s rock legends and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers gives fans even more to look forward to.

“Welcoming AC/DC to The Dome is a milestone moment for our venue and for St. Louis,” said Matthew Dewey, senior vice president and general manager for The Dome at America’s Center, per KSDK. “This show will bring fans from across the region to our city. It will be loud. It will be electric. And it will be a night people in St. Louis talk about for years.”

The tour comes six years after the band released their studio album “Power Up” in 2020.

Foo Fighters, meanwhile, wrapped up a run of North American tour stops for the Take Cover tour, but clearly couldn’t pass up the opportunity of a lifetime, one that Dave Grohl said was “literally a dream come true.”

In a lengthy Instagram post, he reflected on how the AC/DC concert film “Let There Be Rock” introduced him to “the raw, primal power of rock and roll performance for the first time.”

“Watching from the edge of my seat the entire time, it was like nothing I had ever experienced before. How could five human beings conjure and possess such intensity onstage with just their instruments, and do so with such swagger, such groove….and such danger? My mind was blown. Melted. Changed forever. And my heart felt like it might explode with passion and inspiration,” he wrote.

AC/DC set the bar “exceptionally high” for Grohl, who rose to fame as Nirvana’s drummer.

“It’s safe to say that If it weren’t for this movie, this band, and their decades of timeless anthems, I surely would have approached my life in music from a different perspective,” he expressed.

He went on noting that all he’s ever wanted to do “was to someday live up to the awe inspiring fury of AC/DC, live onstage (an impossible task, by the way).”

“And now, for the first time since that fateful night in 1980, my band Foo Fighters will share a stage with the gentlemen who are single handedly responsible for my determination to give every audience everything I have, every night,” he exclaimed.

While there are still tickets available, with prices beginning at $50, on Ticketmaster, you may want to act fast if you plan on securing a spot at the 67,000-capacity arena.

It’s unclear why The Pretty Reckless will not be performing as scheduled, as no reason was provided with the announcement. Billboard reports that the rock band, with lead singer Taylor Momsen, did not return a request for comment.

As we get ready for fall and TV coming back in full swing, it’s time to look back at the cancellations that have happened so far. Prime Video hasn’t been as brutal as in the past when it comes to cancellations, “only” canceling four shows.

However, the decisions have hurt. There are some shows that have been needed, while others were highly anticipated and didn’t even get off the ground. Fans are angry that their favorite shows are gone, but there are others that went away quietly. Did you miss a favorite?

Three TV shows have come to an end after one season on the Amazon streamer. The first was an extremely quiet cancellation, with Aubrey Plaza being the one to confirm the disappointing decision. The animated series Kevin was axed after one season, and many likely didn’t even know it dropped!

Kevin was co-created by Plaza and Joe Wengert, with a voice cast that included Jason Schwartzman and Whoopi Goldberg. It was a heartfelt series following an anthropomorphic cat adjusting to life in a pet rescue due to his humans breaking up.

Another series quietly canceled after one season was The Runarounds. This series premiered in September 2025, and it took more than six months for Amazon to make the official decision. The writing seemed on the wall with that long wait, but there have been a few outliers when it comes to negotiations behind the scenes.

This one hurt fans, as the YA drama was well-written and produced. It scored a strong Rotten Tomatoes score and created a band that many wanted to follow. The good news is that the cast members who formed the fictional band have promised to keep the music alive and tour.

Finally, It’s Not Like That fans were delivered the news that the show had been canceled. Originally on Wonder Project on Prime Video, the series got a full run on the main streaming platform, but still couldn’t get the viewership, despite the likeable characters, the beautiful storytelling, and the need for family dramas like this.

Despite the perfect Rotten Tomatoes score, the show couldn’t be saved. Scott Foley was quick to react, but made it clear that he was thankful for the fans who tuned in and hated to see them hurt by the streamer’s decision.

Gen V was the fourth of the shows outright canceled by Prime Video. After two seasons, the college-set superhero drama came to a disappointing end. This was just after The Boys Season 5 premiere, and fans hoped to at least get some closure for the characters there, but that didn’t happen.

It’s clear that there was more of a story intended for Marie and her friends. Eric Kripke has said that there’s potentially a way to bring back the characters in other spinoffs of The Boys, but the focus right now is on Vought Rising.

Finally, it’s the show that was axed before even getting into production (it was in pre-production at the time of the news), and fans are not happy. After making a huge deal about a Stargate reboot with behind-the-scenes connections to the original franchise, Prime Video decided not to go ahead with it. The argument was that only other Stargate fans would be interested, but the vocal fans on social media have made it clear that wouldn’t have been the case at all.

There are still four months of 2026 to come, which opens the door for more cancellations. Hopefully, everything else is safe!

You might have to trash that bag of frozen blueberries sitting in your freezer. A recall of GreenWise Organic frozen blueberries and mixed berries has been hit with the FDA’s highest-risk classification amid an investigation into a possible E. coli outbreak.

The recall now carries a Class I designation, the FDA’s most serious risk level. That means there’s a “reasonable probability” that eating the recalled berries could cause serious health problems or death, though no deaths have been reported so far.

So far, 12 people have gotten sick and four have been hospitalized. The illnesses were reported in Florida and Georgia between May 11 and June 5, and the FDA says its investigation is still active.

The situation started small. On July 3, Chile-based supplier Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. recalled a single lot of GreenWise organic blueberries after testing turned up a presumptive positive for E. coli. Publix later pulled every lot of GreenWise Organic Frozen Whole Blueberries and Whole Mixed Berries from its shelves, and the FDA says Publix had already done an internal stop-sale at the end of June.

The recalled products were sold at Publix locations across eight states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Anyone with GreenWise Organic Whole Blueberries or Whole Mixed Berries (10-ounce or 48-ounce bags) in their freezer should check the UPC code against the recall list.

The strain involved, E. coli O145:H28, produces Shiga toxins that can trigger severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, fever and vomiting. In more serious cases, it can lead to hemolytic uremic syndrome, or HUS, a kidney condition that can cause bruising, decreased urination and, in severe instances, kidney failure requiring a transplant. Young children, older adults and people with weakened immune systems face the highest risk.

The FDA is telling consumers not to eat, sell or serve any of the recalled berries, even if they’ve already been moved to a different container. The agency recommends throwing them out or returning them to the store, and sanitizing anything that may have touched them.

Nathan Gallagher’s Below Deck Mediterranean behavior is taking on new meaning for some fans following news of the bosun’s arrest on domestic violence charges.

Viewers have taken to social media to revisit Nathan’s more heated moments on Season 11, pointing to his temper and confrontational exchanges with crew members as they react to the news.

Some fans say they noticed “red flags” in his behavior before learning about the arrest, while others are pushing back against judging the reality star based on what happened off camera. Nathan was arrested in Australia in December 2025 and faces charges including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault. He has denied the allegations.

Despite his good guy persona in previous seasons, Nathan returned to Below Deck Med with anger toward former friend Joe Bradley, plus Captain Sandy Yawn had to ask Nathan to get his temper under control when a particularly rude charter guest took a verbal shot at him.

Last season, Nathan got particularly heated with the deck team during a stressful docking, something deckhand Victoria “V” SanJuan said was “unprofessional.”

“You could see his ‘temper’ escalating the last couple seasons. He was always threatening the guys,” one person wrote on Threads in response to the alleged arrest, with another person adding, “He has some demons. I see it in his eyes when he snaps at the smallest thing and gets filled with rage [along with a red flag emoji].”

Some people commented that Nathan’s stress level appeared heightened after becoming a father, and several people hoped Nathan’s girlfriend, Gael Cameron, and their son were okay.

Joe told Parade that he could tell Nathan “hates” him and he wouldn’t “share the dinner table” with him. Joe also said Nathan “had such a hatred…and I’m going to use the word hate because you can see it in his eyes that he didn’t want me there,” and added, “but him using the words how I’ve been treating women, well, I can say a few things about Nathan, how he’s treated women and it’s not very healthy, but that’s another story.”

Joe added, “I know who Nathan is; I know what he’s capable of. Would I like to beat it in the butt? I would, but I wouldn’t share the dinner at the same dinner table.”

Netflix is facing a lawsuit brought forth by Christian metal band Demon Hunter, who claim the hit film K-Pop Demon Hunters infringed on their trademark rights.

Since the release of K-Pop Demon Hunter, the streaming service has cashed in on its instant popularity from music, merchandise, scheduled sequel installments, and even concert lineups. The success of the film has reportedly led Demon Hunter to file a lawsuit against Netflix over the film overtaking the recognition of the band’s name.

“Defendants’ greater size and strength overwhelms Hyde Lane’s established identity, causing consumers to perceive Hyde Lane as affiliated with, sponsored by, or derived from Defendants and denuding Hyde Lane of power over its commercial fate,” the lawsuit reads, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The lawsuit filed on Tuesday by the band company, Hyde Lane, alleges that Netflix Studios and live promoter AEG Presents have caused “substantial confusion” among the band’s fans and consumers. According to the BBC, the band provided email evidence of someone having spent $500 on concert tickets to see Demon Hunter, under the impression the band was connected to the Netflix film and would be a child-friendly K-Pop event.

Another piece of evidence Demon Hunter provided was a TV producer having reportedly contacted them under the impression they were a K-Pop group. The band has also been incorrectly tagged on social media in posts related to the animated film.

Demon Hunter was formed in 2000 in Seattle, Washington, by brothers Don Clark and Ryan Clark. Since their debut album in 2002, the band has released 13 albums, many of which dominated the Billboard 200 charts. Throughout their career, they’ve headlined countless tours and performed with some of the biggest names in the genre.

A quick Google search of the band and their Billboard hits shows results related to K-Pop Demon Hunters. The band believes that after “decades establishing, cultivating and further investing” in their career, the Netflix film is “annihilating [the band’s] control over its brand identity, goodwill and reputation.”

With the Oscar-winning film soon headed on a world tour, Demon Hunter is asking the courts for injunctive relief that involves “destruction of all infringing materials in Netflix or Netflix Studios’ possession,” as well as damages and legal fees. Netflix has yet to comment on the lawsuit.

Blake Shelton wasn’t alone onstage at the VOA Country Music Festival. The country star surprised fans by bringing his wife, Gwen Stefani, out for a special performance.

The couple performed two of their hits, starting with 2019’s “Nobody But You” and following it with “Happy Anywhere,” released in 2021. Fans cheered as Stefani joined Shelton onstage. 

Following the surprise appearance, Stefani shared some behind-the-scenes moments from the festival on Instagram. Her video included clips from the stage, her trailer, Shelton’s performance and their time backstage. 

“me + betty decided to pull up on @blakeshelton,” the songstress captioned the post, referring to the couple’s beloved dog. 

The couple’s sweet moments prompted plenty of love from fans in the comments. “Gwen, really, what’s your secret? You simply don’t age! I’m 29 and I look older than you!” one user wrote. “You can tell how much he loves you!!! I bet he had a crush on her when he was younger,” another added. 

Others focused on how happy the two looked together. “She has never smiled so big as she does with him,” one fan commented. Another called them “Our real life fairytale,” adding, “you’re showing the world what true love and happiness look like.” 

Shelton’s festival appearance came during a busy summer for the country star. In May, he finished up an eight-show residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. 

“Vegas!!! I can’t believe it’s over!!!!” Shelton wrote on Instagram after the residency wrapped. “Thank y’all for welcoming us back to @colosseumatcp these past few weeks.. y’all are a bunch of hillbillies… I love y’all!!!!!”

Stefani has had an eventful year of her own, including a run of performances with her band, No Doubt, at the Las Vegas Sphere. Shelton made sure to support his wife during the shows, attending one of the concerts after finally getting a night off. 

“So proud of my wife @gwenstefani and the @nodoubt guys for working their asses off and putting on this hell of a show.. finally got a night off to see it.. un-freakin-real,” he wrote on Instagram.

Shelton then headed to CMA Fest for a full week of performances and events before celebrating his 50th birthday.

The “God’s Country” singer still has a few more stops on his calendar before the year wraps up. He’ll perform at the Rock the Country Festival in Ocala, Florida, on August 29, followed by a show at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, on October 24. His final scheduled performance is set for November 14 in Phoenix, Arizona.

In 1969, The Beatles released what would become one of the most celebrated albums in music history. Nearly 57 years later, Abbey Road is still finding its way back onto the charts.

The landmark album has re-entered Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart at No. 47, extending a remarkable chart history that now spans generations.

Abbey Road has spent 325 weeks on the Top Album Sales chart, the most of any Beatles album and nearly 50 weeks more than the band’s second-longest album on that chart, the 2000 compilation 1, which has logged 276 weeks.

That’s hardly the only Billboard chart where Abbey Road has demonstrated extraordinary staying power. The album has spent 507 weeks on the Billboard 200, 505 weeks on the Vinyl Albums chart, 344 weeks on Top Rock & Alternative Albums and 291 weeks on Top Rock Albums. Altogether, the album has logged over 2000 weeks across all charts.

Released in September 1969, Abbey Road was the final studio album The Beatles recorded together, even though Let It Be, which had largely been recorded earlier, wouldn’t arrive until 1970.

The album gave the world some of the band’s most enduring songs, including “Come Together,” “Something,” “Here Comes the Sun,” “Oh! Darling” and “Octopus’s Garden,” along with the sprawling medley that dominates its second side.

It was also an enormous commercial success from the beginning. Abbey Road sold four million copies in its first two months and spent 11 weeks at No. 1 in the United States. It has since sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.

More than half a century later, its reputation has only grown. Rolling Stone ranked Abbey Road No. 5 on its most recent list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, making it the highest-ranked Beatles album. Only Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life, Joni Mitchell’s Blue, The Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds and Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On finished ahead of it.

Producer George Martin later remembered Abbey Road as “a very happy record,” telling The Beatles Anthology, “I guess it was happy because everybody thought it was going to be the last.”

That sense of finality has become an inseparable part of the album’s legacy.

In a 2019 retrospective marking its 50th anniversary, NBC News called Abbey Road the “greatest mic drop in pop music history,” describing the album as The Beatles’ final musical statement to the world.

There’s an especially fitting bit of history surrounding its latest chart appearance.

Recording on Abbey Road stretched through the summer of 1969, with the album’s final sequencing coming together on Aug. 20. That date marked the last time John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr were all together in a recording studio.

Just one month later, Lennon privately told his bandmates he wanted out of the group. Abbey Road was released in the U.K. on Sept. 26, 1969, followed by its U.S. release on Oct. 1.

Although Let It Be would arrive the following year, most of that album had been recorded before Abbey Road. That leaves the latter as the final album the four Beatles actually made together.

And despite being remembered as one of rock’s great endings, Abbey Road has proven remarkably unwilling to disappear.

Nearly 57 years after those final sessions, it’s back on the Billboard charts once again.

It’s been over 12 years since the season finale of How I Met Your Mother aired on CBS, but the show is still on Josh Radnor’s mind. 

The actor, who played Ted Mosby in the series, continues to reminisce about the series on his How We Made Your Mother podcast, but that doesn’t mean the gang is as close as they once were. In fact, Radnor revealed on an episode of Half the Picture that he’s “not even a little bit” close to his former co-stars.

He said that while he and Jason Segel — Marshall in the series — “send each other texts every once in a while when something reminds us of something funny on set,” they haven’t seen each other for quite some time.

Radnor said that, as for Cobie Smulders (Robin), he’s “seen her mostly on Zoom,” and she has been on his podcast several times. However, he hasn’t seen Alyson Hannigan (Lily) since his wedding at the beginning of 2024.

Despite how their friendships have drifted apart, Radnor said he doesn’t mean this “in any dramatic way.”

“We had Neil [Patrick Harris] on the podcast, and he and I had a really interesting conversation about some of the tension we had on set that was fascinating and kind of healing,” Radnor said.

Harris, who played Barney, was featured on Radnor’s How We Made Your Mother podcast earlier this year. Harris revealed that he often felt like Radnor was annoyed by his performances, and Radnor agreed that he also felt tension.

“I think it might have been a little bit of confusion between actor and character,” Radnor said at the time. “Like Barney was often incredibly almost dismissive of Ted, and you were so good at playing that. I think sometimes I felt dismissed by Neil, but I was being dismissed by Barney.”

However, Radnor said on Half the Picture that he has “love for all these people.”

“It’s like college where you have this very intense time together, and you think you’re going to be — you can’t imagine not seeing each other every day because you’ve seen each other every day for so long,” Radnor said. “And then it just disperses, and you just go out and live your life.”

Radnor continued, saying that the cast is “a little more like family than friends, in that you don’t get to choose your family.”

“And family dynamics come out to play when you’re in an environment like that for so long,” he said. “But you also have love that is quite deep and rich and probably everlasting, but it’s not an active love. Acting is like love affairs that you have, and then you move on.”
