Tabby Cat Stealing Mom's Easter Basket Is the Cutest Little Thief
'Tis the season to celebrate Easter, and this includes cats!
Some cats are particularly enthusiastic about this holiday (even though it revolves around bunnies, not cats), as we see in this new video from the account @lokidoestricks.
Loki is a Tabby cat who is super passionate about Easter, so much so that he decided to steal an Easter basket.
How can you blame him? Easter baskets are usually colorful, made of high-quality material for scratching, and full of treats and toys.
How is the kitty supposed to resist?
In the video, we see Loki quickly running across the floor (but not too fast, as you can tell he is proud of his work and wants to show off) with an Easter basket in tow.
His mom wrote in the video caption, "I left the Easter basket I was making alone for 2 minutes, and he sped up as he ran past me."
Two minutes is more than enough time for Loki!
@lokidoestricksand he sped up as he ran past međ
⏠original sound - The Loki ShowNow that is one stealth cat!
The Easter Bunny certainly doesn't have moves like that!
The comments, as you can imagine, were quite funny.
One person wrote, âWell, this is obviously for me, so Iâll just take this.â
Another wrote, "A tisket, a tasket, the cat stole my basket."
His cat sibling, however, doesn't care as much for Easter, as seen in the video below, in which his mom tries to get him to wear bunny ears, and he is not into it.
In fact, he swats at them and runs away.
Maybe he is more of a Christmas cat!
@lokidoestricksReplying to @dugie57 he said no
⏠original sound - The Loki Show Why Do Cats Like To Steal Things? So you may be wondering why Loki stole the Easter basket?
Well, cats like to steal things because they like to play with stuff (and this basket looked like it would be very fun for a kitty to play with), and they like attention.
Stealing that Easter basket was accomplished as his mom had to chase him to get it back.

Doodle Mid-Groom Looks Like a Walking Throw Rug
There is something about a mid-groom moment that feels a little wild, no matter what, but this one is on another level. You think you are about to see a normal grooming update and then⊠your brain has to catch up to what is happening.
Because this is not a finished look. This is a situation. This is a throw rug. That started running.
@kayliebrNo one can stop me đ#doodleshave #doggrooming #dogshave #matting #fyp
⏠original sound - warnerbrosanzTikTok user @kayliebr shared a clip of a black-and-white Doodle halfway through a groom, with the top half shaved down and the bottom half still fully⊠existing. The result is a dog who looks like two completely different animals at once, running around a salon covered in loose fur like nothing unusual is happening.
The caption reads, âDonât shave him, we brush him every day,â which⊠I mean. Respectfully. No, you donât. Absolutely not.
Related: DIY Groom Turns Goldendoodle Into a Recently Divorced Dad
The difference between the groomed sections and the untouched coat tells the whole story, and honestly, the dog looks like he was feeling way better once some of that weight came off.
People in the comments were losing it. One person asked, âWhy is the carpet moving?â which is exactly what it looks like. Another wrote, âWhat did they brush him with, hopes and dreams?â and that one really stuck.
Some comments were more understanding of the reality, like, âYou can tell he feels so much better,â which feels important to remember here. Others still appreciated the pup underneath it all, saying, âThose spots are pretty under all that fur, too. Still a downright gorgeous dog.â
@kayliebrPart 2 for the after effect! What a guy â€ïžđ¶ #matteddog #rescue #doggrooming #fyp #doodle
⏠original sound - thebraleyfamilyAnd then there was, âI want an Afghan Hound so badly, but I know I could never keep up with that coat,â which⊠yeah. This video might be your sign to really think that through.
Also, quick aside: Grooming videos like this always remind me how quickly things can get out of control if you miss even a little bit of maintenance. It sneaks up on you. Not that um, I would know or anything (I actually would. My Maine Coon needs constant grooming.).
What To Do if Your Dogs Gets Mats A relaxed Golden Retriever getting brushed.Image: sonsart via Shutterstock
If your dog develops mats in their coat, the most important thing is not to try to pull or cut them out yourself without knowing what you're doing. Mats can be tight against the skin, and trying to remove them improperly can cause pain or even injury.
The best first step is to assess the severity of the matting. Small, loose tangles can sometimes be gently worked out with a slicker brush or detangling tool, ideally with a conditioning spray to reduce pulling.
However, if the mats are dense, widespread, or close to the skin, it is safest to take your pup to a professional groomer. In many cases, shaving is the most humane option to remove severe matting quickly and comfortably.
Going forward, regular brushing is key, especially for breeds like Doodles who have thick, curly coats prone to tangling. Daily or near-daily brushing, along with routine grooming appointments, can prevent matting from happening again.

Rescue Dog Considered 'Too Old and Sick' Transforms Into 'Perfect' Pooch'
Niall Harbison continues to change the lives of street dogs through his Thailand animal rescue, Happy Doggo. He shares many of their triumphant stories on social media, highlighting the bravery and resilience of these courageous canines.
The animal advocate recently rescued a senior dog in poor health who proved that she has plenty of life left to live.
View this post on InstagramThe sweet senior pooch, whom Harbison named Dolly Parton, was abandoned "because she was no longer perfect". She was brought to Happy Doggo by a local resident who saw the dog desperately needed help. Dolly was literally shaking in fear and needed medical attention.
âSheâs very old and her fur is pretty much all gone from the thousands of ticks and fleas sucking her blood,â Harbison shared when she first came to the rescue. âSheâs very sick and she also has a major leg trauma. Who knows how long the little girl has been out on the streets, battling to stay alive.â
Even with those challenges, Dolly maintained a kind and loving heart and welcomed human touch. Now after five weeks of medical care and plenty of love and affection from Harbison and the Happy Doggo team, Dolly is thriving. The Instagram video from @wearehappydoggo showed the canine cutie joyfully prancing around with a literal spring in her step.
"To some, she was 'too old' and to others, she was 'too sick'," the caption read. "But after a kind soul scooped her up and brought her to us, this 'imperfect' girl found her spark again."
Dolly Has a New Leash on LifeThanks to the commitment and dedication of Harbison and his team, Dolly is blossoming at Happy Doggo and the transformation is beautiful to witness.

Cockatoo Gives Mom Sweet Nuzzles of Love While Reuniting After Vacation
Some reunion videos are cute. This one is full-body emotional.
In the clip, Carmen the Cockatoo greets his mom after she has been away for 12 days, and the welcome-home nuzzles are so sweet they almost do not feel real. He leans in with that soft, affectionate little energy that makes you instantly understand why people are completely obsessed with these two. Who would not want a reunion like that?
@carmenthechickenOh my sweet Carmen #hopecore #fyp #birdsoftiktok #cockatoo
⏠What Was I Made For? (Epilogue) [Instrumental Version] - Mark Ronson & Andrew WyattThere is something especially touching about how gentle it feels. Carmen is not just excited. He is tender. The nuzzles read like pure relief, pure love, and a little bit of âfinally, where have you been?â all at once. It is the kind of moment that makes you stop scrolling and watch again immediately.
And honestly, their story makes it hit even harder.
Alexis works at a zoo as a zookeeper, and she rescued Carmen after he had been isolated for 20 years. Knowing that makes every sweet interaction between them feel even bigger. This is not just a bird being cute on camera. This is trust. This is healing. This is what patient love can look like after a long time without enough of it.
That's part of why their videos feel so special. They're the kind of thing people can feel proud to watch and support. Carmen is clearly cherished, and it shows in every little nuzzle. We are big fans for a reason.
Also, I have to say, if my dog Lola had to share attention with a talking animal, she would absolutely lose her mind for at least a little while. She would be deeply offended, highly vocal, and probably conduct a full investigation. But I do think she would ultimately support the mission, especially if it meant helping an animal who needed love this much.
That is what makes Carmen and Alexias so easy to root for. Their bond feels earned. It feels soft in a world that can be pretty rough. And when you watch Carmen greet her after nearly two weeks apart, it does not just look like a pet happy to see a person. It looks like someone safe finally coming back.
No wonder people love them. No wonder the videos keep landing. This is the kind of reunion that reminds you how powerful care can be, especially for an animal who has every reason to guard his heart and still chooses love anyway.
Trust Can Grow Back BeautifullyCarmenâs reunion is a lovely reminder that rescued animals do not just need food and shelter; they need consistency, safety, and time to build trust. With parrots, especially, gentle routines, patient handling, and regular interaction can make a huge difference. VCA notes that parrots often bond closely with people and, when well-socialized and handled often, can become very interactive and affectionate, even actively seeking petting and closeness.
That is why stories like Carmenâs matter. They show what can happen when an animal who has known isolation finally gets the chance to feel secure, seen, and loved.
Honestly, Carmen welcomed her home like a feathery little husband who had been checking the driveway for 12 straight business days.

Pink Tutu-Wearing Duck Looks Like a Disney Princess for Epic Birthday
Nearly every Disney princess uses a human main character who fits a specific mold and follows a particular story arc, and I think it's time for a change. These days, there's inspiration everywhere to subvert those expectations and give the audience something out of the ordinaryâsomeone we can get really excited about and cheer for.
I'm talking about Rufus, a pink tutu-wearing duck. She's just celebrated her third birthday in the most diva-like way, and it's my hope that someone from Disney Central sees this sassy gal and drafts up our new favorite cartoon character!
View this post on InstagramThere's a lot to unpack in such a short video! First of all, Rufus is a duck icon in that adorable pink tutu with the fuzzy, multicolored balls and her pink checkered bandana. Her amazing parents offered some version of a cake, a candle-lit banana, as they sang "Happy Birthday," and this little girl couldn't be more thrilled to be the center of attention.

Sweet Rufus shares her supportive home with duck siblings, Bubbles and Rosie, as well as a Dachshund named Milo. It's the pup's dream to be besties with the duck crew, but it's clear they run things and merely tolerate him!
Still, in a busy house full of cuties, Rufus is the real star. She loves dressing up in different costumes to show the world her vibrant personality. This one is one of my favorites:
View this post on Instagram Do Ducks Make Good Companions?ÂIf you take a few minutes to scroll through all the Rufus content, you'll see what a precious duck she is. Ducks can be affectionate, loving, and entertaining companions for dedicated families who are up for their messiness (lots of cleaning), and they'll quickly win anyone over with their social, intelligent, and funny temperaments.
Not all towns allow ducks as pets, so it's important to look into permits before going all in on a Rufus of your own, and even then, they require specific living quarters, environments, and food. They can live 12 to 15 years in a healthy, happy home, so expect to celebrate many birthdays with them, maybe in a pink tutu, like our girl, Rufus!

Doodles Are a Fashionable Breed, But a Recent Study Reveals a Hidden Behavioral Downside
Oodles of doodles have come together with every breed imaginable. What started as an endeavor to create a hypoallergenic dog turned into a massive phenomenon mixing every breed imaginable with the low-shedding poodle.
Now there are numerous doodle varieties from goldendoodles to shepadoodles and more. While doodle breeders have achieved the desired result of a low-shedding pup, a new study highlights a hidden issue that doesn't present in their purebred counterparts.

Study Highlights a Hidden Doodle Breeding Side EffectJoca de Jong via Shutterstock.com
"Designer dogs" are incredibly popular. But a new study says the popular trend comes with undesirable behavioral consequences. The Royal Veterinary College selected the three most popular designer doodle blends in the U.K. to study: the Cockapoo, Labradoodle, and Cavapoo.
When compared to their purebred parents, i.e., the cocker spaniel, Labrador retriever, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and the respective poodle breeds, they fell behind in several key categories.
The study shows that, among the dogs surveyed, 54% of the doodles exhibited different behavior than the purebreds. Of the 39 behaviors evaluated, the designer pups showed more undesirable behavior in 82% (32 of 39) of the categories. The RVC's biggest concern is that, most often, adoption or selection of these pups is based on the assumption that they are better-behaved dogs.
However, the study shows that this is unequivocally not the case. The most common behavioral red flags for the three crossbreeds are high levels of non-social fear. So they are afraid of things like loud or sudden noises, such as traffic. The dogs also show a higher incidence of separation-related issues, leading to destructive behavior or loud barking, crying, or whining when their owner is absent.
Related: Funny Doodle Who's Clearly 'Part Goat' Has People Cracking Up
The mixes are also far more excitable than their counterparts, reacting to things like walks, visitors, doorbells, knocks on the door and car trips with exuberance. Of course, all of these issues can be handled with training.
But the issue lies in access to training and support, as well as in the willingness to ask for them. The study points out that earlier research has shown that "remarkably few owners seek veterinary or other professional help or advice to manage these three important behavioural issues."
"Owners of designer-crossbreeds should be mindful that displaying these behaviours likely indicates their dog is experiencing negative emotions such as fear, anxiety and/or panic which should be prioritised with similar consideration as any physical ailment to maintain good welfare," the study suggests. "Canine behaviourists and veterinary professionals can support designer-crossbreed owners by increasing awareness of the serious negative impacts of these undesirable behaviours upon their dogs and offer appropriate therapies to address them."
Related: Doberman Hears a 'Doodle' Mom Call His Ears 'Unethical' - His Head Tilt Says Everything
Differences Between the Three CrossbreedsAmong the three mixes, the Cockapoos showed the highest level of undesirable behaviors in the behavior scale comparison. Compared with Cocker Spaniels and Poodles, they displayed undesired behaviors in 16 of 24 categories. Cavapoos scored 12 out of 24, while Labradoodles had fewer differences, clocking 11 differences from the Labrador retriever.
Overall, though, the Labradoodle fared best across all categories, which is not particularly surprising. Researchers say that while the study can be applied to other doodle mixes, it would be best if each crossbreed were studied as thoroughly as these have been.
But the most important takeaway from the study is that while these concerning behaviors do exist, consistent training with a certified trainer or breed specialist can do a lot of good, and ultimately create solutions that are better for the pup's overall well-being.

Traveling can be challenging at any time, but right now it's downright chaotic. Stress is mounting for travelers trying to board their flights on time. Whether they are heading to their destination or trying to get home, lengthy TSA lines wrapping around the building are an unwelcome sight.

German Shorthaired Pointer Bounces While Playing at Airporthttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/Nw-s12g5C6U
The video of the ecstatic pup was shared by Minneapolis's Fox 9 on their YouTube channel, bringing some levity to a situation that is anything but funny for people currently traveling.
The video, which the outlet reported was filmed on March 24 by Ashley Perdew from Virginia, who was waiting in line at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. Despite the long lines, the sight did elicit an amused laugh from Perdew.
I am sure a few other passengers were equally amused at the pup's playful antics. The GSP hops around with a toy in his mouth, likely taking a little break from his sniffer duties. He may have a job, but even TSA dogs need a break.
He seemed to wish he were not on a leash and could zoom around freely. But that would likely end with him on the other end of the airport, and no one's break is that long. I'm sure he will get free rein zoomies once he gets home.
Related: This German Shepherdâs First Snow Zoomies Are Pure Winter Magic
What Caused the Pup's Energetic Outburst?Commenters spent a lot of time speculating why the pup had such high spirits at work. Theories ranged from the pup being overwhelmed by all the smells flooding the airport to him getting a sniff of some extra-good contraband. Other viewers wondered if he was tired of being at the airport and didn't really want to do the work. But a handful of commenters, familiar with the breed, strongly disagreed.
"Nice to see a German shorthair undocked. And showing his true colors. They bounce, and they fly. They only touch the ground in between," one viewer comments. The German Shorthaired Pointer is certainly having the time of his life zooming around his handler.
Another writes, "My GSP acts like this when she is really happy!!- which is every day when I get home from work!!" It could be that this pup hasn't been to work in a while and is so happy to be back among travelers that he got a little silly.
Whatever the reason, it's always a delight to see a sweet pup having the time of his life, even if he is at work. We should all be so lucky to enjoy what we do that much.

Paralyzed Tuxedo Kitten Walks on Front Legs and Has a Super-Rare Trait
Some kittens go viral because they are cute. Others go viral because they are strong. And then there are the ones who somehow manage to be both, while also continuing to surprise everyone along the way.
Lieutenant Dani is one of those kittens.
@soccercatmomToday we found out some other big news about Lieutenant Dan! The reason weâve been having such a hard time determining if she is a boy, or a girl⊠is because⊠she is technically BOTH! Yes, Lieutenant Dan is intersex. She has a vagina canal AND testicles. Of course, this changes nothing about her care and we love her the same! You may still hear me refer to her as âher/sheâ, as thatâs what I currently know her as, but Iâd love to know⊠what would you refer to her as?? Also, as you can see we almost got a diaper to fit finally, but I took it off after a couple minutes because she could hardly move. Weâll keep trying! #kitten #manxsyndrome #catsoftiktok #cats #kitty
⏠original sound - user338905482829The latest update was shared on the TikTok account @soccercatmom, and it reveals something no one saw coming about the tiny Tuxedo kitten, who has already captured hearts with the way she gets around using just her front legs.
If you have seen her before, you already know she moves like a little wheelbarrow: determined, fast, and completely unbothered by the challenges she has faced.
But now, her story has another unexpected layer.
Related: Paralyzed Tuxedo Kitten Learns To Walk by Doing Tiny Handstands
According to her foster mom, after struggling to determine whether Dani was male or female, they discovered the reason is because she is actually intersex.
As her caregiver explained, Dani has both a vaginal canal and testicles, which is a rare condition but one that does not change how she is loved or cared for in any way.
Her mom shared that she will continue to refer to Dani as âshe,â while also opening up the conversation about what others might say.
And if the comments are anything to go by, people are not focused on labels.
They are focused on her.
âThat baby is the sweetest, most gorgeous little soul Iâve ever seen.â
âShe has had so many challenges, but still brings so much joy.â
âI am deeply in love with your baby. She has so much love to give.â
It's the kind of response that reminds you exactly why stories like Daniâs matter.
She is not just defined by what makes her different. She is defined by how she keeps going. She is such an adorable little trooper.
What Is Intersex in Cats?Intersex is a term used when an animal is born with reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn't fit typical definitions of male or female. In cats, this can mean having a combination of both male and female physical traits, like what Daniâs caregivers described.
It is considered rare, and in many cases, intersex cats can live normal, happy lives with proper veterinary care and monitoring.
What matters most is ensuring their overall health and comfort, without trying to force them into a specific category.
And if Lieutenant Dani has proven anything, it is that labels are the least interesting thing about her.
She is busy doing handstands, zooming across the floor, and winning over the internet one tiny step at a time.
Lieutenant Dani Has Manx Syndrome @soccercatmomWell, here we go again. Please welcome the newest litter of foster to the Soccercatmom household. There will be a lot to navigate as we go through this, but I know theyâre here for a reason. Weâve got this! đȘđŒ #cat #cats #catsoftiktok #catlover #kitten
⏠Lovely Piano - EvgenyLieutenant Daniâs condition, caused by Manx syndrome, is a spinal condition sometimes seen in cats with very short tails or no tails at all. The condition affects spine development and can lead to mobility challenges in the hind legs.
Cats with Manx syndrome may experience weakness or paralysis in their hind legs, which means they often have to adapt to moving in different ways. Many of these kitties rely heavily on their front legs and upper-body strength to get around.
While the condition can present challenges, many cats with Manx syndrome still go on to live happy lives with the help of supportive caregivers, veterinary care, and adaptive equipment when needed.

Mother Maine Coon Cat's Cuddle Session With 3-Week Old Kittens Will Make You Go 'Aww!'
Cats can still carry the stereotype of being overly independent and aloof, yet many felines are basically furballs of affection. They are very friendly and love to socialize and snuggle with their loved ones.
Mama cats beautifully illustrate a cat's capacity for love through their strong maternal instinct toward their kittens. This very attentive Maine Coon mom is a wonderful example of that complete devotion as she cuddled with her 3-week-old kitties.

The kittens ate up every minute of their mom's affection and rotated between nursing and snuggling with her. There was plenty of "biscuit-making" from both mother and kids. The litter of kittens was varying colors, including black, white, and orange â all of them over-the-top adorable.
The mother cat was a natural in caring for her kittens and fostering loving relationships between the siblings. The pretty kitties cuddled with each other and didn't seem to fight over their mom's attention.
Followers praised the mama cat for showing such unconditional love to her beautiful babies.
"Legitimately the best mom Iâve ever seen," one raved.
"She is such a great mom, purring and loving them so warmly," another noted.
"What a loving caring mother she is! Amazing," a fan commented.
"I donât think Iâve ever seen a cat love her kittens more than this cat does," someone gushed.
How a Mama Cat Shows AffectionThat maternal instinct kicks in for cats when their kittens are born. They show love and protection to their babies in a variety of ways, including:

Not because it's finally spring, but because he's experiencing his "second winter" and it's the very best for him. He's happy to be soaking up the sun's rays while keeping his belly cool with the snow on the deck.Â

In the comments, people were just as taken with Bruno's smile as we were. They left fun comments, calling him "adorable, cutie," and saying hello. Others shared love, leaving red heart emojis and laughing emojis, and there were a lot of heart-eye emojis, which is very appropriate.Â

Saint Bernards Are Great at Having Fun Doing Almost AnythingBruno is having a great time, and he's not really even doing anything. To him, being able to sit down on the deck outside while his body stays cool with the snow and his face warms up from the sunlight is something to smile about, and he's right. But he only sees life that way because, as a Saint Bernard, he's just really happy about doing anything and always knows how to make the most of things.
According to the American Kennel Club, the Saint Bernard dog is known for being "charming, playful, and inquisitive," which means they're happy to make a game out of anything and are interested in everything, so life's a game. In the family life write-up for the breed traits and characteristics, the Saint Bernard is at the top end of the scale for being lovey-dovey and good with children. Energy levels, trainability, and mental stimulation needs are right in the center; they don't need much.
And we see that with sweet Bruno, who is having the best morning, and ours is better for seeing his giant smile.Â
Mom Introduces Her 16 Maine Coon Cats and Every Single One Is Stunning
There are cat people⊠and then there are people who have fully committed to a lifestyle.
Because having one Maine Coon is already an experience. Having 16? That is a full-blown event.
@wildmane_mainecoonsProbably my most requested video! #mainecoon #catbreeder #kitten #mainecoonkitten #cutekitten
⏠original sound - wildmane_mainecoonsThe jaw-dropping video was shared by TikToker @wildmane_mainecoons, and it features a cat mom and breeder introducing her entire lineup of Maine Coons one by one.
And somehow, each cat is more beautiful than the last.
Related: Maine Coon Cat Rides on a Donkey Like Itâs His Personal Uber
She walks through everyone, from tiny kittens to moms, dads, and even grandmas, which I did not realize was something I needed to see until now. At one point, she casually includes a Savannah cat too, bringing the total to 17 cats just casually existing in one house, like it's completely normal.
The cats themselves are exactly what you would expect from Maine Coons.
Huge. Fluffy. Majestic. Slightly intimidating in the âyou know they run this houseâ kind of way.
The people in the comments were completely unwell.
âDo I have cats? No. Am I afraid of them? Sadly, yes. Did I watch the whole video? Yes. Those cats are beautiful.â
âI never saw a grandma cat 'til today⊠and Iâm coming over.â
âKindly requesting a playdate between myself and the 16 cats and kittens.â
Others were immediately ready to change their lives.
âThis is my dream cat. One day I will get one.â
âI am so in love with Maine Coons.â
And honestly, same. It is impossible not to fall a little bit in love watching them all move around like a group of tiny lions who also enjoy snacks and soft blankets.
How Maine Coons Are Different From Other Cats @maxiecoonđWhy Maine Coon Cats Are The Best đ» #catfacts #mainecooncat #maxiecoon
⏠original sound - đ±đ€Maxie & Foxieđ§Ąđ±đŹđ§Maine Coons are often described as being more like dogs than typical cats, and I can confirm that from experience. My Maine Coon, Meatball, follows people around the house, wants to be involved in everything, and will absolutely insert himself into any situation, whether he was invited or not.
They tend to be less aloof than many other cats and areknown for being social, affectionate, and very people-oriented kitties. Instead of hiding when guests come over, many Maine Coons will walk right up, as if they are hosting the event.
They are also one of the largest domestic cat breeds, which means everything about them feels a little extra. Bigger paws, longer bodies, more fluff, and yes⊠a much larger appetite. These felines eat like they have places to be and responsibilities to handle.
But more than anything, they just want to be around their humans.
Which, if you ask anyone watching that video, seems like a pretty great deal.

Majestic Maine Coon Cat Is Neighborhood's 'Resident Thug' and People Can't Get Enough
Every neighborhood's got that one cat. The cat who reigns over the entire block and acts like he owns the whole town. That's Craig the Maine Coon.
In a recent TikTok, Craig keeps all eyes on his neighborhood perched atop a car, constantly surveying his territory. The caption explains, "Craig is in everybody's yard and on everybody's car. And the whole hood loves him."
The POV text says, "When your cat, Craig, is the thug in the neighborhood." Craig's definitely giving that energy. Heâs sitting up there looking majestic but also, slightly intimidating, like he's keeping law and order on those streets.
@heavenxleannCraig is in everybodyâs yard and on everybodyâs car. And the whole hood loves him #craig #catsoftiktok #mainecoon #bigcat #fyp
⏠original sound - audiosThe comments are full of fans understnading Craig's whole situation.
"He's got food bowls in different area codesssss" somebody wrote, implying Craig's got multiple homes feeding him across the neighborhood.
"My cat looks just like him but he's scared of air" the difference between Craig's confidence and other cats' energy levels.

"He's beautiful and he knows it." Facts.
"Majestic âš," captured the entire moment in one simple word.
Craig's sitting up there looking like he runs everything. Based on the caption, he pretty much does. He's in everybody's yard. On everybody's car. And somehow the whole hood loves him for it.
That's pure Maine Coon energy right there. He cannot be contained.
Maine Coons Have Intimidating Faces But Are Actually Gentle, Affectionate CatsThe funniest thing about the idea of Craig looking like a âthugâ: even though Maine Coons naturally look serious and intimidating, they are actually very gentle giants.
Everything about a Maine Coon's face reads as stern. High cheekbones, broad square muzzle, prominent brow ridge that makes them look permanently concerned about something. Their eyes can sometimes be intense and donât blink often, almost surveillance-like. Those tufted ear tips add a bit of a wild edge to complete the look.
Then there's all that fur. The thick mane around their neck looks very much lion-like. Their bushy eyebrows make them look liek they are always in deep thought. Some have those natural "M" shaped markings on their foreheads that can appear to look like built-in frown lines.
Put it all together and you get a cat that looks like they're running a very serious operation.

The reality? Maine Coons cats are famously known for their gentle and affectionate temperaments. They get along well with kids, other pets, and pretty much everyone. They're playful, warm-hearted cats who just happened to be born with the face of someone perpetually unimpressed and an intimidating size.
Craig sitting on that car looking like the neighborhood enforcer? He's probably innocent just minding his own business deciding between napping there or napping on a different car. That intense stare suggesting he's plotting world domination? Nope. He's just vibing or possibley just trying to stay awake.
Maine Coons might look like they mean serious business but they're actually just big fluffy sweethearts born wearing intimidating faces.
If Craig's the resident thug, he's the kind who happily accepts treats from multiple houses and lets every resident pet him.The whole hood loves him. Of course they do.
Rescue Golden Retrievers Tuck in New Stuffies Like Real Babies and We're Crying
Adopting a senior rescue dog is one of the best decisions I've ever made. That doesn't mean it was easy introducing him to our resident guardian, a Corgi, but with patience, solidifying routines, and more love than both dogs could ever imagine, life is pretty good now. One thing that helped my boy settle in faster was making sure he had things of his own so he felt like part of the family from the get-go.
Senior Golden Retriever, Duke, has been in his forever home for a hot minute now, but his new Golden sis, Leona, is still finding her way. It just so happens that Mom bought them both brand-new stuffies and the two pups were SO excited, they tucked them into bed (and yes, we're melting)!
@lifewithduke2025Total spent=$5.98 Happiness=priceless. #funnydogsoftiktok #funnydogs #seniordogsoftiktok #rescuedog #scooby
⏠original sound - lifewithduke2025Thanks to a devoted mom who nurtures Duke and Leona's individualities and quirks, the pair are inseparable, happy, and thriving. Known around the web as one funny klepto who steals items from around the house, Duke is more than happy to accept a stuffie gift! And sweet senior Leona joyfully follows suit with hers.
Watching Duke find true happiness in a supportive home is the best example of what it means to adopt a senior rescue dog. And Leona joining the family (and she's doing so well) is the icing on the proverbial cake! There hasn't been a better twosome since peanut butter and jelly!
Related: Golden Retriever Teaching New Puppy Sibling To Swim Is a Lifeguard at Heart
The best part of following @lifewithduke2025 is largely because of this new dynamic. Since Leona became an official fur child a few weeks back, she's learned a lot by watching Duke steal odd things (like an emotional support lamp!).
Sometimes, she runs to tattle on her brother like any sibling would. It's always a treat to see what Duke's stolen next. In this case, it's a cookie sheet.
@lifewithduke2025Duke and Leona have a funny dynamic! She is like the younger sibling tattling on her brother! đ#funnydogs #funnydogsoftiktok #funnyvideos #rescuedog #seniordog
⏠original sound - lifewithduke2025 Stuffies Help New Rescues Settle InÂNot all dogs take to a stuffie the way Duke and Leona do, but if you've recently adopted a rescue pup, or are considering it, giving them an item of their own has a few benefits. Aside from the obvious comfort a stuffed toy can bring, it shows them they're not alone and are worthy of having something that's theirs.
My senior boy uses his favorite stuffie to self-soothe by nibbling on it when he's anxious, stressed, or a little too excited. One look at Duke and Leona, and it's clear they feel pretty special getting brand-new "babies" to tuck inâand that makes the $6 spent 100% worth it!

Golden Retriever Gets a Happy Meal for His Birthday and Accidentally Spooks the Cashier
Golden Retrievers are known for their lovable and friendly personalities. They are basically furballs of affection and make most people smile. Most Goldens are a decent size, yet their silly and affable demeanor makes them completely adorable rather than threatening. Still, some people have a legitimate fear of dogs, no matter how irresistibly cute they may be.
Wally the Golden Retriever recently celebrated his birthday by getting some special grub at the McDonald's drive-thru and was surprised by how the cashier greeted him.
@wally.meets.worldI still think about this interaction daily đ« #goldenretriever #dogsoftiktok #drivethru
⏠original sound - Wally DogIn the TikTok from @wally.meets.world, Wally's mom was at the drive-thru of the Golden Arches and gave the precious pooch's favorite order as he patiently waited in the backseat.
"Can I get a hamburger Happy Meal, but can I just get the hamburger just plain, nothing on it? Thank you," she politely asked the cashier.
As they drove up to the cashier to pay, Wally stuck his head out the window in anticipation of his special treat. Once they pulled up, the canine cutie even put his front paws outside of the car to show his excitement for the tasty burger. His mom encouraged him to sit back and reassured him that his food was on the way, while sharing the celebratory occasion for the yummy treat.
"Getting a Happy Meal â it's his birthday today," she told the cashier with a smile as Wally edged closer to the drive-thru window.
Wally Unintentionally Scared the CashierWally's mom knew he was just being his usual charming self and assumed the cashier would get a kick out of his childlike enthusiasm, but got an unexpected reaction.
"Oh, you're scared of him? Is that what you said?" his mom asked, surprised, and immediately put down her phone. "Oh, sorry! Oh my goodness!"
Apparently, Wally's over-the-top adorableness was too much to handle for the young woman. The compassionate canine and his mom both respected the cashier's feelings, so Wally sat back in the car to avoid causing her any distress.

Followers commended Wally's mom for her understanding and consideration of the cashier's fear.
"Your reaction to her being scared was perfect. Respect for all is amazing. Even though Wally is a perfect little baby!! Happy birthday baby!" one raved.
"Love that she respected her. Now that's a good parent," another noted.
"Iâm happy to see that you didnât take it personally and apologized!! Heâs a cutie pie and I hope he had a good birthday!" someone praised.
Despite the little hiccup at the drive-thru window, Wally loved his Happy Meal and had a wonderful birthday.

5 Signs Your Dog Is Asking for Space, According to a Trainer
Your dog may constantly be joining you as you put away laundry, while you're watching Netflix and even taking a bathroom break. Yet, even highly attached dogs desire some "me time" now and again, and pet experts stress it's vital to know how your dog may communicate this need. After all, since dogs don't talk, you have to know what cues to watch out for. To help you understand your dog better, we gathered 5 sign your dog needs some space, according to a trainer. That way, when you see certain dog behaviors or body language, you'll know what it means.
"Understanding when your dog is asking for space is essential for both safety and trust," says Alexandra Bassett, CPDT-KA, the founder of Dog Savvy Positive Dog Training. "Dogs communicate primarily through body language, and many of their signals are subtle. When people miss or ignore these early cues, dogs may feel increasingly stressed or trapped. Recognizing the early signs allows you to intervene before the situation escalates and helps your dog feel heard and protected."
Bassett shares that dogs have many reasons to ask for some time alone, such as feeling nervous around strangers, feeling overwhelmed by activity, being tired or being protective of something (or someone) they value. "A dog might ask for space when they are in pain, startled or feeling socially pressured by someone leaning over them, hugging them or crowding their body," Bassett explains. "In many cases, the dog isnât trying to be aggressive, they are simply trying to communicate that they are uncomfortable and need distance."
Listening and respecting a dog's needs is important, but you have to know what to look for. To help, Bassett shared five of the earlier, more subtle signs that your dog is asking for space, along with advice on how to respond.
Related: 6 Signs Your Dog Knows Youâre Lying, According to a Trainer
5 Signs Your Dog Is Asking for Space, According to a Trainer A dog enjoying having its own space.Dogs will start quietly asking for space pretty early through their body language. Yet, Bassett says it's easy to miss cues your dog gives when they want some time to themself. As a trainer, she stresses it's vital to learn them, though. "Understanding this progressionâfrom subtle avoidance signals to more intense warningsâhelps people intervene earlier and prevent bites," Bassett explains. "When dogs see that their early communication works and that humans respect their requests for space, they are far less likely to feel the need to escalate their behavior in the future."
1. Avoiding eye contactThere are several ways dogs ask for space. Bassett shares that one is when a dog turns their head and body away from you. This is a sign they need solo time. It's one of the most common early ways your dog tells you, "I'd rather not interact right now."
When you notice this dog behavior, it's your pup's way of communicating to you. "Dogs often use this polite disengagement to signal that they are uncomfortable with a situation," Bassett reports. "Rather than confronting something directly, they angle their body away, look away or physically turn their head to diffuse social pressure."
2. Lip lickingAnother sign a dog needs alone time involves licking. In fact, licking isn't always a cue that your dog is hungry or about to give you a smooch. Bassett says it's often a sign your dog is asking for space. So if you see your dog lick its lips while lowering its heads, or dipping its heads ever so slightly, remember what it means.
"When a dog quickly flicks their tongue outâeven when no food is presentâit is often an appeasement gesture that indicates stress or discomfort," Bassett notes. "You may notice this when someone leans over the dog, when the dog is being scolded or when they feel socially pressured." Bassett adds that the head lowering is another way your dog says, "I'm not so sure about this" or "I am not a threat."

3. Stress-signal clusterThere are subtle signs your dog is overwhelmed and needs space that pet parents can miss. Bassett says one of those is when a dog has their ears pinned-back, a tucked tail, is tilting their body away from the situation and has whale eyes. Combined, these are almost always a message that your dog feels stressed as these are strong dog body language cues your dog will display when they asking for alone time.
"This body posture reflects anxiety and an attempt to create distance without escalating the situation," Bassett explains. "Your dog may remain still, but angle their body away, hoping the pressure will stop."
4. Walking awayBassett explains that some dogs will communicate discomfort by trying to leave a situation. "Walking away, backing up, hiding behind their guardian or moving to another room are all clear attempts to flee," Bassett says. These dog behaviors are important signs your dog needs space and should be recognized as key dog communication cues.
"When a dog tries to remove themselves, it is important to respect that choice rather than following or cornering them, as preventing escape can quickly increase their stress." Understanding these dog stress signals and dog body language signs can help pet owners respond appropriately and avoid escalating anxiety.
5. FreezingSome dogs default to freezing, especially when earlier dog communication signals and attempts to ask for space havenât worked. Others may suddenly stop in their tracks, showing one of the more serious signs your dog needs space.
"A dog may suddenly become very still, stiffen their body, or hold their breath for a moment. This pause often occurs when the dog feels conflicted or threatened," Bassett explains. These are critical dog body language cues and often overlooked dog stress signals. "Freezing is frequently the last quiet signal before a dog escalates to stronger defensive behaviors."
Related: 7 Ways Your Dog Uses Their Ears to Talk to You, According to a Trainer
How to Respond to Your Dog's Need for SpaceBassett says that after a "freeze fail," dogs may curl their lips to show their teeth, growl, air-snap, or bite. So, it's vital to notice the earlier signs your dog is asking for space and respond accordingly from a regulated place. "When a dog asks for space, the best response is to calmly reduce the pressure," Bassett advises. "This might mean asking someone to step back, calling another dog away or allowing your dog to move to a quiet resting spot."
Remember, you are your dog's voice. Bassett says it's vital not to make a dog do something they clearly don't want to do. "Avoid forcing interaction or trying to reassure the dog with petting if they are clearly uncomfortable," Bassett recommends. "Instead, give them room and allow them to decompress. When dogs learn that their early communication works, they are far less likely to escalate their behavior."

These Highland Cows Have the Most Enviable Bedtime RoutineâAnd Adorable Pajamas
Highland cows are the farm animal trifecta. They are cute, furry and completely socialable. With stats like that, how could they not be popular?
Though this particular pair of Highland cows has quite a following online. Millie and Milo are known as huge puppies around the farm, according to their social media accounts, and something tells me they wouldn't have it any other way. This video of their bedtime routine shows just how puppy-like they can be.

These Cow's Bedtime Routine is Enviablehttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/_76M3H9PQ4s
Millie and Milo, who live with the creators behind the viral YouTube account, The Husky Fam, are certainly living the high life. However, their most enviable part of their day may be their multi-part bedtime routine. Yes. You read that correctly. These two loveable, fluffy cows have a multi-step bedtime routine that just about everyone on the internet wants to help with.
First, they enter the barn and get to work spreading out a new layer of hay throughout their bedding area. One of the cows, Millie, lends a hoof by pushing the recently released from plastic bales around their home until it is mostly spread out. Of course, she does get a little distracted and starts rubbing her head against her pajamas. I think she may be hinting at something.
Her head rubs were so aggressive that one of the pajamas fell off the wall. That didn't stop her from returning to assist with the bales of hay, though. But sadly, the pajamas stayed on the ground for a little while.

The Final Bedtime StepsNo harm was done, and with a good shake, the pajamas were ready to go. Millie gets buttoned up into her blue pajamas, while the other cow, Milo, finally makes an appearance, just to get buttoned up into his pajamas. But he didn't come to help. Though I would venture to say that Millie's reward was getting her chin brushed after her pajamas were on.
After the pair puts on their adorable pajamas, they have a little bedtime snack. The lucky ducks get to wind down with a movie before mom finally says that it's lights out. She doesn't leave without giving them both extra scratches and kisses.
Fans were equally enamored with the pair. One writes in the comments, "This is one of my favorites. Milo and Millie look so adorable in their jam-jams. I love how Milo is always close to his mama, wanting cuddles and kisses." I would have to agree. I have never seen a cow in pajamas before, but Millie and Milo look totally huggable in theirs.
Other fans agree that they are just "adorable" and can't believe how big they have gotten. Thankfully, these two are miniature Highland cows, so they are about as big as they are going to get. They usually hit about 3.4 feet at their shoulder before they stop growing altogether. Regular Highland cows do grow larger.

Petcoâs $4 Find Makes Traveling With Pets a Breeze
Parade Pets aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
It is out with the new, in with the new, at least as it relates to my Jack Russell Winnieâs leash.
When her last leash suffered an unfortunate accident, we went back to the rope leash after a few months away. It would be an understatement to say that Winnie actually gets excited to go out on that leash again.
But just because we are bringing back an old friend does not mean we cannot turn to something new, too. For the pet parents in a similar situation, Petco is currently offering the Reddy silicone dog treat pouch for 50% off â a welcome addition to any long walk.
Designed to Make Your Life Easier- The Reddy treat bag contains a clip-on feature that you can attach to your leash, purse, or even your pants. I typically clip treat bags onto my leash, but I know some of my friends like keeping them around their waist.
- According to Petco, the bag is âeasily washable,â which is always excellent news.
- Petco offers free shipping if you spend at least $35 on your order. If you do standard shipping, you are looking at a $7 shipping fee. Alternatively, you can do free pickup if you have a Petco near you.

Shop ItPast Buyers Say...This under-$5 dog treat holder has a 4.5-star rating on Petco's website, and 75% of shoppers have left a perfect score. Here is what some have said:
- âIt clasped to my jean belt loop with no issues and did not become unclasped at all during our run!â
- âNice quality, easy to clean, easy to open and close. Very practical and simplistic.â
The Bottom Line: I have said it before, and I will say it again: There is nothing wrong with simple. Part of why I think Winnie loves her rope leash is that she does not need to worry about it being too tight or getting too far away from me. If your dog is like Winnie, then the same premise should theoretically apply to a treat bag. So long as it is easy and reliable for both parent and pet, then we are good to go.
8 Signs Your Pup Is Totally Smitten With You, According to Experts
If your dog follows you from room to room or acts like theyâve won the lottery when you come homeâeven if you were gone for five minutesâitâs probably no secret youâre their favorite person. But are those behaviors actually signs of love, or is your dog just being, well, a dog? Since dogs communicate differenly than their pet owners do, it can be hard to tell at times. After all, dogs express their feelings through their body language. To help you understand your dog better, we rounded up 8 signs your dog is smitten with you, according to experts.
âWe all know how much we love our four-legged friends, but how do we really know they love us back?â says Dr. Jordyn Zoul, a Georgia-based veterinarian and vet advisor to Spot & Tango. âSure, food is love, and they associate us with their food source, but how do we really know they reciprocate the feelings we have for them?â
According to Zoul and others, dogs often show affection through surprising behaviors people donât expect. So, how can you tell if your dog loves you? There are different ways ways your dog shows love. Some pups are cuddly and obvious, while others express attachment through quiet, subtle behaviors, like napping at your side or making soft eye contact with you during play. And while every dog has a unique personality, consistent patterns often point to a strong emotional bond. That's why it's important to understand your dogâs body language so you can figure out what message they are sending.
To find out what truly counts as signs your dog loves you and dog affection signs, we asked veterinarians and trainers to break down the clearest ways dogs show theyâre deeply attached to ther owners. Here are some canine bonding behaviors that your dog adores you just as much as you love them and some habits that show what dogs do when they love you.

8 Ways Dogs Show Love A dog who loves its owner.Dogs have their own special ways of showing affection, and recognizing these signs helps strengthen your bond. Understanding how your pup expresses love and attachment can make your relationship even more joyful and rewarding. Here are a few you should look out for.
They Follow You EverywhereCanât catch a bathroom break without your furry friend tagging along? This is one of the signs your dog loves you. âIf you get up from the couch to get yourself a snack in the kitchen and your dog comes with you, this is a sure sign she loves you,â Zoul says. This feeling of no man left behind (or dog, in this case) is thought to be rooted in their pack mentality. âThey follow you around because they see you as their pack leader,â she adds. âThey seek reassurance from your presence, and also want to offer than in response, kind of like a, âHey, I got your back.ââ
They Wait Up For YouHow can you tell if your dog is crazy about you? Well, if your dog acts like a concerned parent waiting up for you, theyâre totally smitten with you. âA sure sign your dog loves you is their presence right by the door when you walk inside,â Zoul explains. âA lot of dogs will even recognize the sound of a garage door opening, footsteps walking up the stairs or tires on the driveway. They're tuned in to pick up signs their favorite person is back, and they can't wait to greet you as soon as you walk through the door.â

They Bring You âGiftsâUnderstanding your dogâs body language can take time and this is one dog behavior that can confuse pet parents. However, the meaning behnd it is actually sweet and it's a quirky ways your furry friend expresses love. While certain breeds are more prone to gift-giving than others, many dogs like Golden Retrievers and Labradors will bring owners a cherished toy, papers or other household objects. âSometimes these are even unwanted gifts, like a squirrel or other unlucky outdoor creature,â Zoul says. âThis gift-giving can be funny and sometimes even gross, but it's certainly thought to be rooted in love and respect.â
Dogs are wired to bring prey back to their young or other members of their pack, so this behavior signifies that your dog sees you as someone they want to provide for and comfort. âA lot of dogs also pick up objects when they're overwhelmed with excitement, like from seeing their favorite person walk through the door,â Zoul adds.
They Cuddle With YouJust like us humans, dogs want to curl up with or hug their loved ones. So, if your lovey-dovey dog likes to snuggle, know it's a dog affection signs and one way you can know your dog is attached to you. âIn the wild, many pack animals huddle for warmth,â Zoul explains. âThis is a source of comfort, security and safety.â
If your dog is obsessed with snuggles, itâs a pretty clear sign your pup feels comfortable and secure around you. âSleeping is also a vulnerable state for animals in the wild, so if your dog feels he can sleep soundly with you, he trusts you implicitly,â she continues.
They Have a Happy and Relaxed Tail WagNo matter if your dog is small and fierce or big and cuddly, you can expect them to communicate how they feel about you through their body language. So, if you're unsure if your dog is totally obsessed with you, simply check their tail as its a way dogs show love. Dogs smitten with their owners may have a soft tail wag held at their normal height, rather than lowered, tucked or raised high over their back, which can indicate stress, anxiety or fear.
âHappy, relaxed tail wags will often be big and sweeping and may even cause their hind end to wiggle with the size and force of the wagging,â says Aldyn Markle, a certified dog behavior consultant, trainer and behavior specialty services manager at Joybound People & Pets.
They Choose to Be Around You, Even When Nothing Fun is HappeningIf youâre doing absolutely nothing and your dog is velcroed to your side, itâs pretty clear they simply enjoy being around you and love you, even when thereâs no game of fetch around the horizon. âIf your dog casually relocates just to stay within a few feet of you, thatâs not clinginess, but attachment,â says Brett Reynolds, a fear-free animal trainer and director of dog care at The Dog Stop. âWhen your dog seeks you out during calm, boring moments (not just when food or walks are involved), it signals trust, emotional security and a preference for you as their social anchor.â
They Make Soft Eye Contact and âCheck Inâ With YouThat slow, relaxed gaze dogs give you, often with loose facial muscles and a soft blink, is actually a big deal and a way your dog expresses they care about you. âResearch has shown that mutual eye contact between dogs and their humans increases oxytocin, or the bonding hormone, in both species,â Reynolds says.
Weâre not talking about intense staring, but rather more demure doe eyes. âIn dog-to-dog interactions, prolonged staring can be threatening, but when a dog chooses to look at you gently and often, it means they feel safe and emotionally connected,â Reynolds continues.
You may also notice your dog âchecking inâ with you during walks or new situations. They might glance back, as if to see if youâre on the same page. âThatâs not just good training, itâs social referencing,â he adds. âIt reflects a strong emotional bond and confidence in you as a trusted partner.â
Their Body Language is Loose, Goofy and UnfilteredAt the end of the day, dogs canât fake relaxation, so if their body language is chill, that shows they love you. âWhen your dog flops onto their back, leans their full weight into you, wiggles when you talk to them or greets you with a whole-body tail wag, thatâs emotional honesty at its finest,â Reynolds says. âThese cute dog behaviors show vulnerability and comfort, two things dogs only offer when they feel safe and attached.â
