The girls’ wrestling team finished 3rd at the Four Rivers Conference tournament on Thursday, Jan. 11 in Pacific. St. Clair earned the conference title, securing their fifth championship.
Sullivan (1-10) experienced a heartbreaking 41-40 defeat in a thrilling shootout against DeSoto (7-9) on Thursday, Jan. 11.
Girls’ basketball (3-9) suffered defeats in both of their opening games at the Union tournament, losing 48-16 to New Haven (5-7) and 49-21 to Union (8-4).
The JV boys’ basketball team came up short in a 33-30 loss to DeSoto, nearly emerging victorious in a second-half comeback.
