Another day, another dupe. This time, it is Aldi taking a page out of Le Creuset’s playbook and duping one of the brand’s gorgeous Dutch ovens. Only Aldi’s is 12 times less expensive. You really gotta love ’em for that!
Aldi’s Crofton Green Cast Iron Dutch Oven looks strikingly similar to Le Creuset’s Signature Round Wide Oven in the Thyme colorway. Both Dutch ovens have a stunning warm evergreen hue that is especially perfect for autumn and winter. It is absolutely stunning. One difference is that Aldi’s Dutch oven has a silver knob at the top, while Le Creuset’s has its signature gold knob. That said, this is only a minor difference, and the vibes are pretty much the same.

‘S.W.A.T. Exiles’ Trailer Teases Shemar Moore’s Hondo Hunting Down a Team Traitor
The high-energy spinoff, S.W.A.T. Exiles, starring Shemar Moore as LAPD S.W.A.T. Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, released its adrenaline-fueled trailer this morning. The spin-off of the fan favorite, hit series S.W.A.T., raises the stakes of the legacy series, introducing a bold new era.
The story picks up with Moore reprising his role as Hondo, who spent his career proving that discipline and loyalty can be built, not just born. But after a botched raid ends in the death of a young operator Nico Reyes, Hondo was forced to walk away from the career that meant everything to him.

That is, until his old commanding officer, Robert Hicks (Patrick St. Esprit), offers him one last shot at redemption: start up a brand-new SWAT unit, built from LA’s most talented rejects. At first Hondo is reluctant, but the pull of SWAT is enticing.
The result is a squad nobody expected: Sammy Bishop (Lucy Barrett), a gun-show influencer with something to prove; Ethan Cole (Freddy Miyares), a socially awkward tactical savant; Cassidy Reed (Zyra Gorecki), guarded and determined to earn her place; Jude Callan (Ronen Rubinstein), a wildcard with a troubled past; and Malik Anderson (Adain Bradley), sharp, ambitious, and hiding more than anyone realizes.
“I read your personal files, all of them,” Hondo tells the new recruits. “And I saw what they saw. Rejection, flaws, and reasons to pass you over. And then they paired you with me. A disgraced has-been clinging to his badge. That is what they say about me behind my back. They didn’t pick us to succeed or reform anything. They picked us all to burn together.”
Needless to say, at first the experiment to build a new SWAT squad looks to be a failure, but when called upon for their first mission, together, under Hondo’s command, they become the Exiles, a team built to fail, in theory, but determined to prove otherwise.
Season 1 of S.W.A.T. Exiles will also include some familiar faces in addition to St. Esprit. Also scheduled to make guest star appearances are Jay Harrington as David “Deacon” Kay and David Lim as Victor Tan.
As Hondo builds a new team, he realizes that someone inside his own unit has been feeding information to outside interests. What begins as paranoia becomes a slow-motion realization: SWAT itself is being set up to fail, and someone with real power wants it gone; replaced by something more private, more controllable, and far less accountable.
Hondo tells Hicks, “Someone powerful is making moves and I’m done being a pawn.”
And when Hicks asks him what he plans to do, Hondo says, “Bury them.”
Key Art created by Sony Pictures
Caught between protecting his team, chasing the truth, and staying one step ahead of the people trying to erase him, Hondo has to decide how far he’s willing to go, and who he can actually trust, as the walls close in.
He tells Deacon, “There’s a traitor on my team and we’re going to smoke him out.”
Alliances shift, loyalties are tested, and by the season’s end, Hondo and the Exiles are forced into a final reckoning that will determine not just their careers, but the future of S.W.A.T. itself.
S.W.A.T. Exiles premieres exclusively on STARZ on Friday, September 25.

'Sheriff Country' Season 2 First Trailer Teases High Stakes [Exclusive]
It’s been one long summer waiting to see the backlash from that Sheriff Country Season 1 Finale. How would Mickey and Wes handle finding out that Mickey’s mom wasn’t dead after all this time?
Is there an excuse for this to happen? Is there even time for the family to deal with the fallout? After all, there is a lot more happening in Edgewater, with a young woman struggling to deal with a dark and dangerous underground criminal organization. It’s so bad that our brave and smart sheriff needs help from a neighboring town.
That’s where Ben McKenzie comes in. Morena Baccarin’s real-life husband is getting a guest spot on the series, and we’re ready to see the two sheriffs working the case together. Could some sparks fly on the screen?
Titled “Cyclone,” here’s a look at the synopsis for the Sheriff Country Season 2 Premiere from CBS:
“As Sheriff Mickey Fox struggles to process a shocking revelation about her family, she races to save a troubled young woman whose descent into a dangerous criminal operation uncovers a growing threat to all of Edgewater. Ben McKenzie guest stars as Sheriff Wade, a neighboring Sheriff who is called in to assist Sheriff Mickey, and has a few secrets of his own.”
We get to share the first look at Sheriff Country Season 2. Not only do we have the first intense trailer, but we also have the epic key art, which puts the focus squarely on Mickey Fox. As she shares in the trailer, she’s going to “protect my town, my way.” There is no other way.
Courtesy of CBS
While the first season had the woods as a backdrop, this key art puts the town behind Mickey. Does that mean there’s going to be more focus on the people of Edgewater rather than going into Deadwater as much?
As for the trailer, take a look:
While there are plenty of cases for Mickey to handle, it’s the family drama that threatens to push her over the edge. After 35 years, her mother is back, and it’s not even to admit she’s made a mistake. She needs Mickey and Wes’ help to handle a current case, and that’s definitely not what an adult child wants to hear after finding out her own mother faked her death!
Fire Country’s Sharon Leone will appear in at least one episode, continuing the small crossover moments between the two shows. This makes a world of sense considering the backstory that has been set up between the two stepsisters. Sure, the two have had their differences, but they’ve also had each other’s backs when it comes to moments of need, and right now, Mickey needs her sister by her side.
If you want to get a look at the Fire Country Season 5 trailer, we have that as well!
Meanwhile, we get a glimpse of Boone’s budding relationship. It’s not the ship that we’ve been calling for, but there is going to be a kiss. Did you see it? The question is how that relationship can last when it’s clear he still has feelings for Mickey.
Sheriff Country Season 2 is set to pack a punch. Get ready for the series to return on Friday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c on CBS.
'Fire Country' Season 5 Trailer Teases a Catastrophic Founders' Day [Exclusive]
Founders’ Day for any town is supposed to be a day of celebration and excitement. Sometimes, Mother Nature has other plans. There are also times that the ground below doesn’t quite want to join in, and it’s that causing a problem for the residents of Edgewater on the Fire Country Season 5 Premiere.
Parade gets to share the first look at the thrilling fifth season. Sure, it may be a little shorter than we’d like it to be, but it’s still packed with plenty of Bode action, the firefighters coming together to protect the town, and family drama.
I do have to question how Sheriff Country is going to manage the storyline of the sinkhole in its show, but we’ll push that to one side for now. By the way, get your first look at Sheriff Country Season 2 as well!
Courtesy of CBS
The Fire Country Season 5 key art puts Bode front and center, with a small fire burning in the background. You know that fire won’t stay small for long, but that’s not going to be the life-saving event he’ll be part of in the first episode. It is one he’ll be involved in later judging by the trailer.
The first trailer gives us a look at a few saves Station 42 and Three Rock will be involved in. “You saved a lot of lives today,” Manny tells everyone at the end of a hard day. Take a look at the trailer:
As you can see, a hole swallows “half of your main street,” and that traps many of the Edgewater residents underground. It’s up to Station 42 to find a safe way in to get people out, while also ensuring the structure of the street is reinforced. Who knows when another sinkhole is going to appear.
It looks like Eve may end up almost falling in while she’s trying to get people away. You can just see someone from Three Rock pulling her back.
The synopsis for the episode, titled “Founders’ Day,” also shares that there’s a mysterious former firefighter in the town. What type of trouble are they here to cause? Check out the synopsis from CBS:
“As Edgewater celebrates its annual Founders’ Day festival, a catastrophic sinkhole opens beneath Main Street, trapping residents underground and forcing Station 42 into a high-stakes rescue. Meanwhile, a mysterious former firefighter arrives in Edgewater.”
Fire Country Season 5 premieres on Friday, Oct. 9 at 9/8c on CBS.

Original Member of Iconic '60s Motown Girl Group From Detroit Turns 83
On Sept. 2, 1943, Rosalind Ashford–Holmes was born in Detroit, Mich., and went on to become known for her work as an original member and soprano vocalist with Motown girl group Martha and the Vandellas. Today, Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, the singer celebrates her 83rd birthday.
A singer since childhood, Ashford began in church choirs and vocal ensembles throughout high school before being recruited to join an official group. According to Ashford-Holmes, in 1957 her mother and sister helped land her an audition at a local Detroit YMCA club, where a man named Edward “Pops” Larkins gave her, Annette Beard, and Gloria Williams the opportunity to form a sister group called The Del-Phis to a male vocal group, per online sources.
After a few failed attempts at singles, during which they changed their name to The Vels, including “Camel Walk” and “There He Is (At My Door),” they became backup singers for Marvin Gaye on hit singles like “Stubborn Kind of Fellow” and “Hitch Hike.”
At the time, the group’s namesake, Martha Reeves, was part of another group, but asked the singers to back her on a single. She was then invited to join the ladies officially by Motown’s Berry Gordy, and they were rebranded as Martha and the Vandellas before signing with the famed record label.
Collectively, they are known for such Top 10 hits as “Nowhere to Run” (1965), “Jimmy Mack” (1967), their breakout smash “Love Is Like a Heatwave” (1963), and most notably, the timeless anthem “Dancing in the Street” (1964), their biggest hit and signature song, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October of that year.
Additionally, “Twelve of the group’s singles reached the Billboard Top 40 singles chart in the US while 21 singles registered on the Top 40 of the US R&B chart, 2 of which went to No. 1 on the chart,” according to their discography.
In 1995, Ashland-Holmes was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Martha and the Vandellas. They were only the second female group to receive the honor from the Hall of Fame, per the Motown Museum.

1975 Country Song, Written After Gram Parsons’ Death, Is Still an Emotional Hit 51 Years Later
Emmylou Harris’ hit “Boulder to Birmingham” resonated with audiences when it was released in the mid-1970s, emerging from a deeply personal period of grief after the loss of a dear friend.
Having been one of the lead musicians in the country rock genre, Harris originally started as a folk artist before moving to New York City in the 1960s. She soon met one of music’s greatest artists, Gram Parsons, who encouraged her to explore a more country rock sound. It also marked the start of a beloved friendship.
Parsons was well-known for having worked with icons like The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers before embarking on a solo career. That career is what led him to Harris in Washington, D.C., where she had a regular gig at a club. He was looking for a female harmony singer and had an impromptu jam session with her at the club, singing Hank Williams’s “I Saw the Light.”
Sadly, Parsons died in 1973 at the age of 26 from a drug and alcohol overdose.
His death led Harris to pen the track “Boulder to Birmingham” in 1975 about the grief of losing Parsons. The song became one of the only self-written works of her career.
“It’s not like I set out to write a song about Gram, but it was inspired by some of the feelings I had after his death,” she said, according to Colorado Music.
She added that the song “fell out of the sky” and she didn’t “labor over it. Lamenting over the loss of her friend, Harris said: “Gram really bequeathed me an extraordinary life.”
The country track was released as part of her Pieces of the Sky album and co-written by Bill Dandoff. While Dandoff may have been an odd choice as a songwriting partner, the two met in Washington, D.C. before Harris met Parsons. “Boulder to Birmingham” failed to enter the charts, but did the job of evoking deep-rooted emotions and became a signature track.
“That song was very important,” she said to The Guardian. “Words can be so powerful to help you express something you otherwise can’t. And everyone has experienced loss, so even though the song is deeply personal, I can understand how people can relate to it, having lost someone who is very close to them.”
When it comes to the song’s title, it’s also connected to her history with Parsons. She explained that their first gig was in Boulder at the Edison Electric Company. They had gotten fired from that club, having forgotten to “work up beginnings, middles and ends of songs.” They then traveled up the mountains to Nederland.
The popular track became a country staple that was covered by Scott Walker that same year, and the Starland Vocal Band a year later. Dolly Parton also released her cover in 1976, with Joan Baez cutting her version for a live album. Rolling Stone once ranked the track as one of the “Greatest Country Songs of All Time.”

Dancing With The Stars professional dancer Britt Stewart once said Harry Shum Jr. was one of her dream partners.
On Wednesday, Sept. 2, Shum Jr. was revealed on Good Morning America as one of the cast members for season 35 of the ABC reality competition series. He’s partnered with 2x DWTS champion Jenna Johnson while Stewart is paired up with musician and Hanson frontman Taylor Hanson.
During an appearance on the Joe Vulpis Podcast in December 2025, Stewart shared her goals and ambitions for the upcoming season. The dancer, who became a pro during season 29 in 2020 following several years on the dance troupe, has never made it to the show’s finale, but has made the semifinals twice with Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir and CODA actor Daniel Durant — whom she married last summer
“I want to keep going until 1) — I get into the finale and 2) — I win,” she said at the time, before revealing Shum Jr., actor Simu Liu, and influencer Noah Beck as the top three parters on her wish list.
“I don’t know if he would do it,” Stewart said of Shum Jr. “He actually used to be a dancer, and now he’s just an actor, and I think he would be incredible.”
Shum Jr. — who is a professionally trained dancer — currently stars on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy. Previously, he starred on Glee from 2009-2015 where he first gained recognition for his dancing and performing abilities.

Longtime Announcer Jim Thornton's Lawyer Responds to 'Wheel of Fortune' Suspension
Jim Thornton’s attorney is pushing back against speculation surrounding the longtime Wheel of Fortune announcer after Sony Pictures Television Studios suspended him and began recasting his role.
TMZ reported on Tuesday, September 1 that Sony confirmed Thornton’s suspension, saying it had recently learned of allegations involving the announcer, who has been with the game show since 2011. “We have recently been made aware of allegations concerning Jim Thornton. He has been suspended from Wheel of Fortune and we are recasting while we conduct a thorough investigation,” the studio said.
What Did Jim Thornton’s Lawyer Say?Thornton’s attorney has now issued a statement to TMZ amid speculation, denying that the announcer committed a crime.
Thornton “did not engage in any illegal conduct, was not arrested, and has not been charged with any crime. When questioned about the complaint made by a fellow passenger on the flight, law enforcement spoke to him for five minutes or less, immediately determined that no wrongdoing had occurred and told my client he was free to go.”
What Reportedly Happened on the American Airlines Flight?According to TMZ, the matter is connected to a May 14 commercial flight. The outlet reported that another passenger complained about Thornton to a flight attendant and that the pilot arranged for law enforcement to meet the plane when it landed at Los Angeles International Airport. American Airlines confirmed that authorities met Flight 1276 after it arrived.
“On May 14, American Airlines Flight 1276 was met by law enforcement upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport following concerns reported by a customer onboard,” the airline told the outlet.
Thornton was reportedly questioned by officers and then allowed to leave. His attorney has clarified that the interaction lasted five minutes or less.

Thornton took over the announcing job in 2011, stepping in after Charlie O’Donnell, who held the role for decades before his death in 2010.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that Tuesday’s episode, featuring host Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, still aired with Thornton’s voice, since it had been taped well before the suspension was announced.
Sony has said it’s moving forward with recasting the role while the investigation plays out, and the company has kept the specifics of the allegations under wraps.
Belinda Carlisle Names Her 'Absolute Favorite Songwriter in the World'
Belinda Carlisle is playing favorites. The Go-Go’s frontwoman wished Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb a happy birthday by giving him the ultimate compliment. Carlisle has been a longtime supporter of Barry Gibb, who turned 80 on Sept. 1.
In a birthday post celebrating Barry Gibb’s birthday, Belinda Carlisle took to social media to share her well wishes, writing:
“Happy Birthday to my absolute favorite songwriter in the world. @officialbarrygibb His music was and still is big part of my life. When he sings, he affects me in a way that María Callas or Karen Carpenter does – it’s something inside the voice, I guess it’s pathos. It moves me in a very deep way. Here’s to another birthday, legend.”
View this post on InstagramJudging by the comments rolling in in support of the famed singer-songwriter, Barry Gibb’s fan club extends far past Belinda Carlisle.
“You and me both! And the harmonies with Robin and Maurice were unequaled,” gushed one fan.
Another added, “Run to Me is probably the best song ever written and sung by the Bee Gees.”
“Totally!! Just played a few of his songs on the radio here to mark the occasion!” another shared.

Belinda Carlisle Has Long Admired Barry Gibb @beegeesofficialRun to me if you need a shoulder 🎶🫶🏻 #BeeGees #RunToMe #ToWhomItMayConcern
♬ original sound – Bee GeesBelinda Carlisle may be sharing effusive well wishes for Barry Gibb on his 80th birthday, but her admiration isn’t new. In a 2014 interview, Carlisle was asked about songwriters she’d like to work with and immediately brought up Gibb.
“Oh, god. I don’t know. I love Barry Gibb. He’s an amazing songwriter. It’d be interesting having a song from him,” she said.
Hers is a telling endorsement and demonstrates Barry Gibb’s impact not just on music fans, but on other artists. Liking an artist’s work is one thing. Wanting to work with them is the ultimate form of adulation.
Barry Gibb Never Wrote a Go-Go’s SongBarry Gibb is not only part of the famed Bee Gees with his brothers Maurice and Robin Gibb, but he’s also responsible for helping his brother Andy Gibb create his own sound.
Though Barry Gibb didn’t write any Go-Go’s songs, Belinda Carlisle has long spoken about Gibb’s talent and songwriting skills.
Carlisle has even performed Bee Gees songs like “How Deep Is Your Love,” with Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb credited as the writers, in her own live shows.
A Belinda Carlisle and Barry Gibb Collaboration Never HappenedThe Belinda Carlisle-Barry Gibb collaboration has yet to materialize, but a collaboration between the woman behind some of the biggest songs of the 1980s and the singer and songwriter behind some of the most iconic songs of the era seems like a gift for all—especially music lovers.

1979 Maxine Nightingale Breakup Ballad, Written in One Hour, Ranked One of the Best Adult Contemporary Songs of All Time
In 1979, Maxine Nightingale wasn’t sold on the song that would be the follow up to her massive international disco hit, “Right Back Where We Started From” and was against releasing “Lead Me On” as a single at all.
Nightingale had scored a massive No. 2 hit with “Right Back Where We Started From” three years earlier, but her follow-up efforts quickly stalled out. She nearly passed on “Lead Me On” out of fear it would flop since it was such a departure from her first hit. She was wrong.
“Lead Me On” hit the top spot on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart three separate times in 1979. In total, the song spent seven weeks at the top and climbed to No. 5 on the Hot 100.
Its legacy has only grown. On Billboard‘s ranking of its Top 100 Adult Contemporary Songs of All Time, “Lead Me On” landed at No. 2, outranked by Savage Garden’s “Truly Madly Deeply.”

“Lead Me On” was written by Allee Willis and David Lasley. Willis discussed the song’s creation with Songfacts. “I really was in one of those relationships. It wasn’t a bad relationship, but it was one that obviously wasn’t gonna work.”
She continued, “It was someone that couldn’t commit. And I really was a wreck. But I had just started having hits, so at least I was a wreck in a very exciting time in my life.”
“David Lasley was one of the first people I ever collaborated with, and there was a song out at that time that the Bee Gees had written and produced. It was by an artist named Samantha Sang, ‘Emotion.’ So we wanted to write a song that was in kind of that tempo that had that feel, and I don’t remember if it was David or me that just said, ‘Lead me on. You know, tease me all night long. I don’t care, I want to be in this relationship, I’m staying here.’ It was a very mentally unhealthy state to be in.”
Nightingale recorded it for her album Love Lines. Willis sang backup on the track.
Willis would go on to co-write Earth, Wind & Fire‘s “September” and “Boogie Wonderland,” the Pointer Sisters‘ “Neutron Dance,” and the Friends theme song “I’ll Be There for You.” Additionally, Willis said of “Lead Me On,” “That song was written very, very fast. That and ‘Neutron Dance’ were both written in under an hour.”
“Lead Me On” became a generational classic almost by accident. From a painful breakup song its artist almost passed on to an unbeatable No. 2 spot on Billboard’s all-time rankings, it remains Maxine Nightingale’s ultimate masterpiece.

A Wedding Photo With Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Just Dropped—but It’s Not What You Think
A new wedding photo featuring Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has made its way online—but Swifties hoping for their first glimpse at the couple’s own nuptials will have to keep waiting.
The never-before-seen snap is actually from the May wedding of the couple’s friends Chelsea Barrie and Eli London in Brooklyn, months before Swift and Kelce tied the knot themselves.
Barrie shared the group photo on Instagram ahead of her 35th birthday while reflecting on the past year. “Turning 35 tomorrow and looking back on the best year of my life, by far. All because of these humans 💗,” she captioned the post.
View this post on InstagramWhile the newlyweds obviously took center stage, Swift and Kelce managed to create a memorable moment of their own in the background. Swift, wearing a bronze dress, can be seen smiling as Kelce lifts her into the air while posing with the group.
The playful interaction quickly caught the internet’s attention after a fan account reshared the photo online.
“What a privilege it would be for her to be at YOUR wedding,” one person shared on X.
“I love that she gets to be so normal around him and his people… like imagine TS being in the back in a group photo when she literally is a camera magnet!” another wrote on Instagram.
A third said, “bro, what I’d give to party with taylor💔.”
Another photo in the gallery shows Kelce and Swift lovingly looking on at the couple while they spoke to their guests.
The photo comes nearly four months after Barrie and London exchanged vows in May—and almost two months after Swift and Kelce had a much more closely guarded wedding of their own.

The superstar singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end married at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on July 3 following a relationship that first began making headlines in 2023.
Despite the enormous attention surrounding their wedding, Swift and Kelce have yet to publicly release photos from the ceremony, leaving fans waiting to see everything from Swift’s bridal look to more intimate moments from the celebration.
“Doing everything but posting their own wedding pics,” a fan joked on Instagram.
Their guest list, however, was packed with familiar faces. Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Gracie Abrams, Bradley Cooper, and several of Kelce’s Chiefs teammates were among those reportedly in attendance.
1988 George Michael No. 1 Hit Gets New Life a Decade After His Death
“Father Figure” was a massive hit for George Michael.
Following its release on Dec. 28, 1987, it climbed the charts to become the fourth single from Michael’s Faith album to top Billboard’s Hot 100, making him the only male British solo artist to achieve the feat. Faith, the album that spawned the hits, also topped the Billboard 200.

Tragically, 28 years after the chart triumph, George Michael died in the early hours of Christmas Day in 2016 of natural causes.
Now, nearly a decade after his death, “Father Figure” lives again, through a new live version recorded in Paris released Sept. 2. It previews The Faith Tour, an 18-track live album of previously unreleased performances, set for release on Nov. 6.
The album was recorded during the European leg of Michael’s Faith Tour at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. Live versions of all the classic hit singles from Faith are featured on the live set, including the title track, “Father Figure,” “One More Try,” and “Monkey.”
Along with Michael’s familiar hits, the live performance also captured the singer tipping his hat to his heroes and influences with covers of Stevie Wonder’s “Love’s in Need of Love Today” and Labelle’s “Lady Marmalade.” He also gave a nod to his early years, performing Wham!’s “Everything She Wants” and “I’m Your Man.”
But that’s not all. George Michael: The Faith Tour concert movie is coming to theaters in North America on Dec. 11.
The Faith Tour live album will be released on vinyl, including a limited-edition picture disc, as well as a three-LP and two-CD deluxe box set including a 136-page book with previously unreleased images from the tour. The album was mixed by Chris Porter and David Austin and mastered by John Webber.
Porter, who also engineered the original Faith album, spoke about the set’s impact in an interview for The Billboard Book of Number One Albums. “We had no idea the album would sell as well as it did,” he said, “but we did know that it would make people see him in a different light.”
The bevy of activity surrounding Michael’s legacy comes as Ella Boh, a Los Angeles-based alt-pop artist, has released a version of Michael’s 1984 No. 1 hit, “Careless Whisper,” originally released on Wham!’s Make It Big album, but issued as a single in Michael’s name helping the singer/songwriter transition into a solo artist.
