HBO has finally dropped the trailer for the Harry Potter remake series – and what was initially dismissed as “unnecessary” follow-up is finding a nostalgic audience eager to see the legacy carried forward. But there’s one change that’s upsetting fans more than anything else: the colour palette.

The new trailer has visibly shifted from the warm, orangish tones of the original films to a cooler, grey-blue color makeover – and sharp-eyed fans caught it immediately, wasting no time tearing it apart in the comments.

“The budget didn’t allow for colors? And Snape looks to be too low IQ to be a double- agent,” wrote one user on X.

“Colorless, it look sad while it should look magical with warm Colors, atleast in the first one when you discover the Wizards world,” said another.

The inevitable comparison with movies came fast. “You notice immediately how much brighter and more whimsical the OG movie feels compared to this awful, "dark" new trailer” “The OG film has such a light and magical feeling to it.” “The new HP looks depressing and has the colour palette of DH.”

Others echoed a similar frustration. “The lighting is so sad and depressing, I don’t know how you can pull kids in with this. It feels like the lighting used for Game of Thrones slapped onto Harry Potter which doesn’t work.” “Filmmakers don't know how to light scenes anymore. Grey hazy slop is all we get now.”

One user joked, “They need to turn the lights on.”

Not everyone was entirely negative, though. “I think new one doesn’t like bad it just doesn’t have the right color grading and colors”

To be fair, some fans came to the trailer’s defence, pointing out that this may not reflect the film's actual colour grade. It's not uncommon for trailers to be graded differently from the final cut. There's also a deliberate creative argument to be made — that the cooler tones are used to contrast the Muggle world with the warmer, more magical atmosphere of Hogwarts itself.

Andrew and Libby chose to continue their relationship in the finale. Andrew has two daughters and claimed to have a good relationship with their mother. Libby is from San Diego and was open to moving to Baltimore if things became serious.

However, it doesn't look like that lasted long. The teaser for the reunion showed Andrew telling Nick Viall that he almost didn't come to the reunion. Natalie Joy seemingly asked Libby if she had met his daughters. "I have not," she responded.

The season reportedly stopped filming in April. Libby posted a video on TikTok on April 28 with the words "to whoever marries the man I'm dealing with rn: ur [sic] welcome girlfriend I cooked there and he was a monster."

Libby spent July in San Diego after filming, according to her Instagram. She stopped in Alabama in November. There aren't any posts located in Baltimore, but that could mean they dated long-distance. Andrew didn't post on Instagram after filming.

We'll get a concrete answer about what happened at the reunion, which will be released on The Viall Files on April 1. But it looks like the social media manager was busy traveling the world while the bar owner kept a low profile.

Expenses have more than doubled in just four years. The budget went from a $36 million bill in 2021 to a projected $89 million in 2025. That’s a massive jump. And it turns out that maintaining 5,000 acres of Windsor Great Park or the geometric rose bushes at the Castle doesn't come cheap.

The High Cost of Highgrove (and Beyond)

King Charles is the world’s most famous organic gardener, but his green thumb requires some serious gold. Estimates suggest Highgrove House costs between $930,000 and $1.1 million annually just to keep the topiary in shape. Those carefully snipped yew hedges and wildflower meadows don't just happen. They require a small army of hands pulling weeds.

The upkeep for Windsor Castle's gardens cost between $2 million to $2.6 million a year. The grounds feature 3,500 perfumed rose bushes and 34 orange trees that were originally a gift from the French King Charles X. Then there's the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, a favorite of Princess Diana, which costs the Prince and Princess of Wales up to $600,000 a year to keep looking camera-ready.

Steal the Look Without the Sovereign’s Budget

If you don't have $89 million sitting in the bank this year, you aren't alone. Most households spend about $400 a year on their outdoor space. But Hillarys gardening expert Luke Newnes says you can still channel that royal energy without the tax-funded budget.

“You might think that spectacular gardens are out of reach on a budget, but gardening doesn't have to cost a fortune or take up all your time. In fact, many flowers adored by the Royal Family are surprisingly affordable and easy to grow. Take Lily-of-the-valley, for example, which was one of the late Queen Elizabeth’s favourite flowers during the summer months and even featured in her Coronation Bouquet. It’s a fabulous choice if you want something classic without the fuss, and the best part is that they are incredibly low-maintenance," Newnes says. He also points to Mexican fleabane—a daisy-like flower loved by the Duke of Gloucester—as a cheap win. A pack of seeds costs a few dollars and they’ll spread on their own around patios.

The royals are spending enough on gardens to buy over a million lawnmowers, but the aesthetic is easy to mimic. King Charles recently added a wisteria-covered pergola at Sandringham. As Newnes puts it: “A pergola completely transforms the way you use your garden. It gives you a defined ‘room’ outdoors and draws your eye upwards, which makes the space feel bigger. I love having plants and little decorative accessories around mine—it’s amazing how much difference a few decorations can make." Your backyard might not have a dedicated staff of six like the Royal Lodge, but with a few bucks and some smart planting, it can look like it does.

In an interview with her long time friend Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie opened up for the first time since her mother’s disappearance. In that interview, which will air in two parts on Today, Guthrie described the moment she learned the devastating news that her mom was missing. The call changed everything for Guthrie and her family, marking the beginning of an emotional search and a public plea for information.

"My sister called me and I said, ‘Is everything okay?’ And she said, ‘No, Mom’s missing,’ " Savannah said. "I said, ‘What? What are you talking about?’ She said, ‘She’s gone.'"

"We thought that she must have had some kind of medical episode in the night and somehow the paramedics had come because the back doors were propped open and that didn’t make any sense," Savannah told Kotb. "We thought maybe they came and there was a stretcher and they took her out the back, but her phone was there and her purse was there, all the things. It just didn’t make any sense."

The family called local hospitals to see if Nancy had been admitted, but things soon became clear that something very sinister had happened. The family knew that this wasn't a typical case of an elderly person wandering away from home.

"She can’t wander off,'" she said, adding that her mom was in pain and wasn't very mobile due to her health.

Savannah said that it was her brother, Camron Guthrie, who immediately suspected a kidnapping had taken place.

"He spent his career in the military and worked in intelligence and is a fighter pilot and just brilliant, and he saw very clearly right away what this was," the Today co-anchor said. "And even on the phone when I called him, he knew. He said, 'I think she’s been kidnapped for ransom.'"

Nancy, 84, has been missing since Sunday, Feb. 1.

Sixty-six years ago today, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra shared an unforgettable television moment that would go down in entertainment history.

Ol' Blue Eyes welcomed the King of Rock and Roll home from his Army service with a special honoring his return to the public eye. According to the official Graceland website, "the special aired on May 12, 1960, with high ratings, drawing an impressive 41.5 percent of the American viewing audience that evening."

Officially named The Frank Sinatra Timex Show, the special featured not only Sinatra and Presley, but guests Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford, and Sinatra's daughter, Nancy Sinatra.

The show was taped 21 days after Presley left his Army service and returned home to Memphis, Tennessee. He was discharged on March 5, 1969, returned home to Graceland on March 8, and taped the Sinatra show on March 26. For his appearance, he was paid $125K.

During the television special, Presley performed his first post-Army single, “Stuck on You” and “Fame and Fortune.” Additionally, the king and Sinatra created an unforgettable collaboration where they sang one another's hits, including “Witchcraft” and “Love Me Tender.”

The special was filmed at Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel, on March 26, 1960, according to U Discover Music. When Sinatra decided to embrace Presley, he effectively embraced the rock genre. This was a generational moment that helped bridge younger and older viewers, and helped the special's ratings to skyrocket.

Sinatra and Presley remained friends after taping the special. He lent the singer and his fiancée, Priscilla Presley, his private jet to fly from Palm Springs, California, to Las Vegas for their wedding. They also took the aircraft back to California to begin their honeymoon.

U Discover Music shared Frank Sinatra's statement upon hearing about Elvis Presley's death on August 16, 1977, at 42. “There have been many accolades uttered about Elvis’ talent and performances through the years, all of which I agree with wholeheartedly,” Sinatra stated. “I shall miss him dearly as a friend. He was a warm, considerate, and generous man.”

Frank Sinatra died on May 14, 1998. He was 82.

In 1976, Blue Öyster Cult released a song that would become one of the most lasting and recognizable tracks in classic rock history.

Their single, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" became the band's biggest hit, reaching the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and introducing their sound to a wider audience. Decades later, it continues to be ranked among the best American rock songs of all time, including by Ultimate Classic Rock.

Written by frontman Buck Dharma, the song was inspired by a deeply personal idea:coming to terms with mortality. At the time, Dharma was grappling with his own fears about death and sought to channel that anxiety into something more peaceful and reflective.

"I had been diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia and it scared me," Dharma told Ultimate Classic Rock. "The cardiologist said, 'You know this isn't going to kill you. You can manage this.' And it has been managed with medication for 45 or 50 years now. But it got me thinking about dying." The result was a song that doesn't fear death, but instead frames it as a natural part of life.

That weighty concept was paired with an unexpectedly accessible sound. With its chiming guitar riff, layered harmonies and steady rhythm, "(Don’t Fear) The Reaper" struck a balance between philosophical depth and pop appeal, helping it stand out on the radio in the mid-1970s.

The song also became known for one of rock's most famous, yet unexpected elements: the cowbell. Though it played a subtle role in the original recording, it later took on a life of its own in pop culture, especially after being immortalized in a memorable sketch on Saturday Night Live.

Despite the humor that followed, the song's core message has endured. Its exploration of life, love and mortality continues to resonate with listeners, giving it a timeless quality that goes far beyond its era.

Today, Blue Öyster Cult is still going strong. "As long as we feel good and sound good, we'll keep playing," Dharma told Guitar World last year. "It's a different group, but the current guys have been in the band longer than the original guys. And we still have the same vocalists, so that's something. We're taking some commitments for 2025, but there’s no promises for the future."

More than four decades later, "(Don’t Fear) The Reaper" remains a defining track for Blue Öyster Cult, and a powerful reminder that even the heaviest themes can be transformed into something lasting and universal.

In her first interview since her mother’s disappearance, Savannah Guthrie is opening up about a troubling aspect of the case: the ransom notes sent to the family. Speaking with Hoda Kotbduring a new Today segment, Guthrie shared what she’s been told about the notes—and what she believes about their credibility.

"There are a lot of different notes, I think that came. And I think most of them, it's my understanding, are not real," Guthrie told Kotb. "But I believe the two notes that we received that we responded to, I tend to believe those were real."

Savannah and her sister, Annie Guthrie, and their brother, Camron Guthrie, posted two videos in which they spoke directly to the would-be kidnapper, pleading for their mom's release. Authorities believe that Nancy Guthrie, 84, was taken from her Arizona home in the middle of the night on Sunday, Feb. 1.

In the days that followed, a number of different ransom notes were sent—some to news outlets like TMZ and others directly to the family. However, authorities have worked to confirm the authenticity of these demands, even making an arrest after learning that one request reportedly sent to Annie wasn't legit. Derrick Callella was arrested and charged after sending a demand for ransom back in February.

As far as the public knows, none of the ransom demands were sent with proof of life. Savannah has not shared any additional details about what might have been written in those two particular ransom notes that made her and her family believe they were real.

It’s been 52 years since The Partridge Family ended its four-season run on ABC. The musical sitcom debuted on September 25, 1970, and ended with the episode “S.O.S.” on March 23, 1974.

Starring Shirley Jones, David Cassidy, Susan Dey, Danny Bonaduce, Dave Madden, Suzanne Crough, and Brian Forster, The Partridge Family was about a fictional family pop band. In real life, that fictional band made hit records, fronted by Cassidy and, occasionally, Jones, with session musicians doing the rest.

At the height of its popularity, The Partridge Family aired after The Brady Bunch on ABC’s Friday night schedule. A move to Saturday night in September 1973 partially sealed the sitcom’s fate, but the show likely would have ended anyway.

‘The Partridge Family’ couldn’t compete against a CBS hit

Fueled by Cassidy’s hit records, The Partridge Family was an instant success in 1970. But the network’s decision to split it from its Friday night Brady Bunch lead-in caused problems.

In an interview with the Television Academy Foundation, Jones noted that the show’s new competition was All in the Family, Norman Lear’s edgy CBS sitcom starring Carroll O’Connor, Jean Stapleton, Rob Reiner, and Sally Struthers.  

“It was the beginning of a new kind of television,” Jones recalled. “They had the show with Archie Bunker, and we were going to be opposite All In The Family … that was a very different kind of family.”

“Our show was out of style, and we wouldn’t be able to compete with a show like All In The Family,” she shared. “So they decided we better go while the going’s good.”

David Cassidy had planned to leave the show

The new timeslot wasn’t the only problem. Cassidy, now a full-on teen heartthrob at age 24, was ready to break free of his pop family image.

“I think David, at this point in time, had had it on the show,” Jones said. “He wanted to do a different kind of music than just The Partridge Family kind of music. And I think they made the decision [to cancel] with those two things in mind.”

Cassidy also revealed that he had planned to leave the show regardless of the scheduling move. Speaking with Yahoo in 1998, Cassidy said, “The Partridge Family was a big hit TV show. Had I not planned on leaving The Partridge Family the following year — they kept trying to find these new acts to replace me with that were scary, as if they sought out the people with the least amount of talent, incredibly bad instinct.”

Cassidy noted that in the final season of the show, producers added random characters.

“The kid next door, the twins, the nephew of Reuben Kincaid… they tried a number of things,”  he said. “There was this comedian who was really not funny. Still not funny. I think the network took it out of its time slot, put it up against what was the No. 1 show, All in the Family, in its last year, and put it on Saturday night when young people go out usually, and the show died a death.”

Ashley Iaconetti thought she had reality TV figured out, then came along Real Housewives of Rhode Island.

After years in the Bachelor franchise—where romance, rivalries, and on-screen tension are part of the deal—she assumed she knew what she was walking into. But stepping onto RHORI quickly proved otherwise.

“I kind of felt like I've been around conflict on screen before, but I truly haven't,” Iaconetti exclusively told Parade. “It was so much more dramatic than Bachelor.”

For longtime fans, that might come as a surprise. Bachelor Nation is no stranger to emotional moments and villain edits, but Iaconetti, 38, says the tone is completely different. “We might have disagreements… but normally the fights are like talking,” she explained. “We don't like curse out each other.” On Housewives, however, the intensity of those conflicts is dialed way up.

Instead of jumping into the chaos, Iaconetti made a conscious decision to stay on the sidelines. “You're not involved, so don't get involved,” she said of her mindset during one particularly tense moment between castmates Jo-Ellen Tiberi and Rosie DiMare early in the season. As a newcomer to a cast where many relationships were already established, she chose to observe rather than insert herself into long-standing dynamics.

That approach, however, came with its own concerns. Iaconetti admitted she may have been more guarded than expected while filming. “I went in with so much… education on it that I may have even been a little guarded,” she said, adding that she even worried she was “too careful” in how she came across.

Still, her presence marks a major crossover moment for the franchise. The Real Housewives of Rhode Island—which premieres April 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo—introduces a brand-new cast set in the Ocean State, including Kelsey Swanson, Alicia Carmody, Liz McGraw,Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, RHONJ alum Dolores Catania, plus Tiberi and DiMare.

Darrell “Dash” Crofts, the second half of Seals & Crofts, has died. He was 85 years old.

The classic rock legend is responsible for some of yacht rock’s biggest hits, like “Summer Breeze,” “Diamond Girl,” and “Get Closer.”

According to TMZ, Crofts died yesterday, March 25, with the duo’s longtime record producer, Louis Shelton, announcing the news this morning. Shelton told the outlet Crofts’ cause of death was complications from heart surgery.

“Sad to hear our dear brother and partner in music has passed away today. Sending love and prayers to all his family and many fans. R.I.P. my brother.....Dash Crofts,” Shelton wrote on Facebook with a photo of Crofts.

Shelton produced Seals & Crofts’ Year of Sunday (1971), the double-platinum Summer Breeze (1972), gold-certified Diamond Girl (1973), and the gold-selling Get Closer (1976), several of which had singles that hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Crofts was born in Cisco, Texas. When he was young, he played piano for Dean Beard and the Crew Cats. This is where he met Jim Seals, also a Texan. Together, they toured with The Champs in 1958 and scored their first hit with “Tequila.” In the 1960s, they moved to the West Coast and by 1969 had “developed a new sound that would be described (sometimes derisively) as soft rock, Ultimate Classic Rock writes.

"About the same time as people like Crosby Stills and Nash," Crofts told the Record Mirror, per UCR, "we realized that we had to get out of the money-making aspect of loud rock 'n' roll into some music which we really believed in."

The duo broke up in 1983 but reunited in the '90s and 2000s. In 1998, Crofts released a solo album, Today. In 2022, Crofts’ longtime collaborator, Seals, passed. 

No plans for a memorial have been set at this time, TMZ reports.

The museum’s auditorium will hold around 400 people and feature updated technology for an immersive experience. 

“National Geographic has always been about sending our explorers out,” Jill Tiefenthaler, CEO of the National Geographic Society, told Parade, reflecting on the platform’s opportunity to be relevant for new generations, and noting that visitors should ideally set aside a few hours to explore the museum. “We are hoping to bring visitors here to get excited about our mission.”

When the museum opens to the public on June 26, visitors will be able to visit The Archives, an exhibition all about National Geographic’s storytelling history, from assignment to reporting to final magazine layout. The exhibit will feature National Geographic’s iconic maps and films, and a 38-inch tactile globe, which was designed with low-vision and blind visitors in mind. 

Accessibility and inclusion has been integral to the museum’s design process, with content in both English and Spanish across the museum. Captioning and American Sign Language will be available for media, with Braille messaging at key wayfinding points, visual descriptions for exhibits, and a selection of tactile photographs in the “In Focus” photography exhibit.

The “In Focus” exhibit is a celebration of National Geographic’s photographic legacy, from George Shiras’ first photo of wildlife taken at night to Ami Vitale’s photo of the last male northern white rhinoceros. Another moving photography exhibit, “Photo Ark: Animals of Earth,” propels conservation to the forefront in collaboration with photographer Joel Sartore, whose Photo Ark project seeks to document every species living in captivity, from zoos and aquariums to wildlife sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers. Over 17,000 species have been photographed in the decades-long project.

To Kotb, Savannah admitted they "still don't know" for sure if that's what happened. "Honestly, we don't know anything."

She tearfully added, “I’d just say I’m so sorry, Mommy. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry to my sister and my brother and my kids and my nephew and Tommy, my brother-in-law. I’m just, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. If it is me, I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.”

Nancy was last seen at her Catalina Foothills home on the evening of Jan. 31, with the search for her launching on Feb. 1. As of writing, no suspect has been named.

Janice Dickinson called Tyra Banks a "hardcore b****" on camera. Not long after, she doubled down.

The 71-year-old supermodel and former America's Next Top Model judge went after Banks twice in less than two weeks — first on E!'s Dirty Rotten Scandals on March 11, and then again while hosting TMZ After Dark on March 23. Both times, she made it clear she has no interest in being diplomatic about her four seasons on the show.

On Dirty Rotten Scandals, Dickinson claimed Banks and producers pushed her to be meaner on camera. "The producers, especially Tyra, were begging me to be harsher and cruel, like Simon Cowell was on American Idol," she said. She alleged the show chewed contestants up and spit them out. "They left the show completely depressed and depleted while she got so effing rich," Dickinson said. "America's Next Top Model really tortured these girls for Tyra's ego. I was there and I saw it for four seasons."

Dickinson also alleged Banks treated Black contestants more harshly. "She would go harder on the Black girls on the show because of competitiveness and jealousy and her being older than these young women," Dickinson claimed. She also referenced a specific on-set incident: "Tyra didn't want any competition. She went off on one girl and it was so frightening that I was going to get up and hold her down."

On TMZ After Dark, Dickinson went further. She said she regrets doing the show entirely, called Banks a "b****," and accused her of making contestants change ethnicities, pull out their teeth, and shave their heads.

Dickinson's comments come at a moment when ANTM is already under a microscope. Netflix's Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model dropped February 16 and quickly became the platform's No. 1 series. The three-part documentary features Banks alongside former judges and contestants revisiting the show's most controversial moments.

Jay Manuel, the show's former creative director, told People that Banks wouldn't speak to him off camera: "Tyra chose not to speak with me at all while the cameras were off. When they were on, she'd speak to me." He described his later cycles on the show as "torture."

Nigel Barker, another former judge, told Page Six in March that he hasn't spoken to Banks since the documentary aired.

For the uninitiated, Tracy Pollan is the Emmy-nominated actress best known for her role on Family Ties, where she met her hubs, Michael J. Fox. The two are lifelong friends, with Pollan posting back, “Love you the mostest.”

In another pic, Pollan and Grey take a close-up bestie selfie, with both wearing sunglasses and black suits. 

In puppy news, Grey recently got herself a new furry best friend. She shared details about him and his link to Bad Bunny in early February, writing the following. 

“I first laid 👀on @badbunnypr in 2022. Suffice it to say…I was shooketh. Then 10 days ago, this little guy showed up and has stolen my heart. Please meet Benito, a name inspired by the miraculous and soulful #BenitoBowl, a powerful exaltation of love unity and joy #loveismorepowerfulthanhate,” she wrote in her February post introducing both her love for Bad Bunny and her new puppy.

As for work, Grey has a lot of irons in the fire. Upcoming projects include The Altruists, a series focused on the Sam Bankman-Fried story co-starring Hudson Williams, Terry Chen, and Julia Garner. She also has the Dirty Dancing sequel to look forward to. From Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, the film will see Grey reprising her role as Frances "Baby" Houseman and also have her executive produce.

Mom to Stella Gregg, 24, Grey has been married to actor/director Clark Gregg since July 21, 2001.
