7 'Secret Menu' Items at Olive Garden Even Regulars Don't Know About
If you regularly eat at Olive Garden, you probably already have your go-to order, whether that's the Tour of Italy for a little bit of everything, the Lasagna Classico for a hearty and savory bite, or the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks.
But did you know there's a whole world of possibilities beyond the restaurant chain's standard menu if you know what to order? If Olive Garden has started to feel a bit boring, there's plenty of room to explore to create your new favorite dish.
đđSIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletterđłđ
From classic Italian drinks to entrée mashups and ultra saucy pasta, these Olive Garden secret menu items aren't very well known even to regulars, but they're repeat orders for many. If Olive Garden has the ingredient, whether that's for a food or drink, the restaurant can most likely make it for you.
Olive Garden's kitchen is full of different bases, proteins and sauces, and the dishes are highly customizable too. Swap marinara for meat sauce for your breadsticks, drizzle raspberry sauce on your zeppoles, add a splash of Zuppa Toscana to your minestrone and so much more.
When you're tired of the same old menu, these seven secret menu options at Olive Garden can make your next lunch or dinner order way better than usual.
7 Secret Menu Options at Olive GardenReady to upgrade your dining experience? Here are seven secret menu options at Olive Garden you need to know about.
1. Swap Pasta for VeggiesFor many people, Olive Garden is all about indulgence in comfort food. You have the extra creamy sauces, soft breadsticks and delectable noodles. Sometimes, though, you may want the same rich flavor without the heavy carbs.
Some Olive Garden diners don't realize that you can ask for vegetables instead of pasta. If you like the protein and sauce of one dish, you can just add your favorite veggie to offset some of the carbs if you prefer. Saucy, cheesy broccoli? Yes, please.
2. Extra Saucy PastaHave you ever felt like your pasta could've used just a little (or a lot) more sauce? Well, you're in luck because you can easily order extra sauce on any pasta dish to completely smother your meal.
Instead of a light coating, every inch of your protein, veggies and pasta can be swimming in Alfredo, traditional marinara or creamy mushroom sauce. It is the ultimate hack for heavy-handed sauce lovers who want every single bite to be as rich and flavorful as possible.

3. Italian SodaPhoto by VICHAILAO on Getty Images
You won't find this refreshing drink option on the official menu, but it's incredibly easy to order. Start by asking your server what flavored syrups they have on hand (options vary by location and season).
Then, just ask for them to add an ounce or two ounces of syrup to a club soda, and maybe a splash of Sprite or your favorite soda.
You can even add a splash of half-and-half or a dollop of whipped cream to give the drink a rich, creamy layer. Top it off with a cherry or a lime wedge, and you'll be instantly transported to a sunny café in Rome.
4. Chicken Parmesan AlfredoFettuccini Alfredo is great and all, but have you ever tried it with a crispy breaded chicken cutlet? Just ask your server to swap the usual grilled chicken for the fried chicken used in the Chicken Parmesan dish without the tomato sauce or cheese.
The best part about this trick is that you can substitute almost any protein on the menu. If you aren't craving breaded chicken, throw some juicy shrimp into your Alfredo, or add sliced Italian sausage for a savory, spicy kick.
5. Custom Pizza View this post on InstagramIf you're craving a slice of pizza but don't want the standard tomato ingredients, you can mix things up. For instance, you can ask for everything from spinach dip to Alfredo as a replacement for the normal pizza sauce.
This hack lets you relive the 1990s when Olive Garden actually had pizza on its regular menu, featuring items like the Roma Garden, Meaty Italian or Chicken Alfredo pizza.
Plus, you'll be saving a few bucks by ordering off the children's menu. We recommend ordering for takeout because not all locations may allow adults to order from the children's menu in the dining room.

6. Grilled Chicken Margherita PastaPhoto by FanPro on Getty Images
It's not on the official menu, but it might just be your favorite new order. The standard Grilled Chicken Margherita comes with grilled chicken breast topped with gooey mozzarella, basil pesto, lemon garlic sauce, fresh tomatoes and Parmesan garlic broccoli. By turning this favorite into a custom pasta dish, you get all those signature flavors over a bed of your favorite noodles.
One Redditor suggests ordering angel hair pasta tossed with the basil pesto sauce, tomatoes, broccoli and grilled chicken. If you want to mix it up even more, other people recommend swapping the grilled chicken for crispy scampi chicken tenders as a tasty, zesty protein.
7. Steak MarsalaPhoto by EzumeImages on Getty Images
On social media, one Reddit commenter suggests ordering the 6-ounce sirloin and swapping mashed potatoes for broccoli and topping everything off with creamy Marsala sauce and mushrooms.
The earthy, velvety Marsala sauce instantly elevates the sirloin into a high-end steakhouse experience. Meanwhile, swapping the mash for steamed broccoli cuts out the heavy carbs, leaving you with a keto-friendly, high-protein powerhouse.
Best of all, because the kitchen whips up fresh Marsala sauce daily, servers can easily ring this up as a standard steak dinner with a cheap side add-on of sauce. You get a completely custom, gourmet steak dinner without paying a premium price tag.
What to Know Before You OrderBefore you run out the door to test out these secret menu hacks, there are a few golden rules to keep in mind so your dinner goes smoothly. Olive Garden's kitchen is incredibly accommodating, but a little insider strategy goes a long way when you're ordering off-script.
- Timing is everything: If you want to customize a complex dish like the custom pizza or the DIY Chicken Florentine, try to visit during off-peak hours. A kitchen line that isnât slammed with a Friday night rush will have a much easier time nailing your specific requests.
- Expect a small upcharge: While swapping out pasta for broccoli or changing up a sauce is usually an even trade, adding extra cheese, premium proteins like shrimp or ordering a side of Marsala sauce will likely add a few extra dollars to your final bill.
- Be specific with your server: Because these aren't official menu items, simply asking for a steak Marsala might confuse your server. Instead, break it down by the base item and the modificationsâask for the 6-ounce sirloin, substitute the sides and request the Marsala sauce on top.
Next time you sit down at your booth at Olive Garden, look past the standard menu and let your inner chef take over. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to mix and matchâall it takes is a little creativity and a friendly request to your server. Your new favorite Italian dish is waiting for you; you just have to build it yourself.

1987 Bittersweet Synth-Pop Anthem That Broke Up the Band Is Making the Rounds Again
A forgotten favorite is about to come rushing back. And guaranteed you know the chorus by heart. Now, the reason we bring this up is because ⊠sorry, weâre just thinking of the right words to say ⊠it has gloriously re-entered the chat. And we promise itâs worth the revisit.
In a surprise viral live performance at Los Globos nightclub in Los Angeles last month, âThe Promiseâ reclaimed the spotlight as When in Romeâs Clive Farrington took to the stage under a disco ball and neon lighting perfectly suited to the trackâs shimmering â80s synth-pop-slash-new wave sound.Â
View this post on InstagramThe moment, captured in an Instagram Reelsmusic clip, began circulating online as a quiet reminder that the song remains a defining piece of 1987 pop nostalgia. Joined by Coleurs on the keyboard and Zach Sandoval on the guitar, Farringtonâs performance has sparked renewed interest in the bandâs legacy as pioneers of â80s synth-pop classics.
In 1987, When in Rome, an English new wave band, released âThe Promise,â a shimmery, wistful track that peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 11 after its U.S. release. Written by all three original members â Farrington, Andrew Mann, and Michael Floreale â the song served as their debut single and breakout hit, carving out real estate in the canon of â80s music.
Despite its âforeverâ heartfelt lyrics, though, the band split just a few years later in 1990 due to creative differences, eventually splintering into two touring versions â When in Rome UKwith Farrrington and Mann, and When in Rome II, with Floreale and currect vocalist Tony Fennell â both still performing versions of the hit song.
âThe Promiseâ immortalized the short-lived bandâs place in music history. Blending piano notes, synth bass, and steady drum machine rhythms, alongside its heartfelt dual vocals, the track has long been embraced as a go-to wedding song and emotional staple, with a pop culture legacy that only grew stronger in 2004 with its feature in Napoleon Dynamite.Â
All these years later, the song continues to thrive as a retro â80s hit and newly discovered Gen Z gem, proving that some tracks donât fade; they simply wait to be found again.

â90s Heavy Metal Band Announces Update on Final Show 42 Years After Forming
Brazilian heavy metal legends Sepultura have officially confirmed the date and location of what will be the final concert in the bandâs 42-year history.Â
The farewell performance is set for Nov. 7 at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil, closing the groupâs long-running career in the country where it all began.
The band shared the announcement on its official social media pages with a direct message to fans: âOn November 7th, SEPULTURA will take over the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu for the final show in the bandâs history.â
âOne final night. A historic celebration. More than epic.â

The final concert will mark the end of the bandâs Celebrating Life Through Death farewell tour, which began in 2024 as part of the groupâs 40th anniversary celebration. The current lineup includes vocalist Derrick Green, guitarist Andreas Kisser, bassist Paulo Jr. and drummer Greyson Nekrutman.
View this post on Instagram Sepultura Final Show Will Bring Special GuestsThe farewell event will also feature performances by Metal Allegiance, Krisiun and Sacred Reich before Sepultura takes the stage for the final time.
The venue itself carries deep meaning for the band. According to reports, the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu area became an important part of Sepulturaâs rise during the early 1990s.Â
A famous concert held in front of the stadium at Praça Charles Miller helped establish the group as one of Brazilâs biggest metal acts. Decades later, the band will end its story in the same location tied to its early success.
Two former members are also expected to appear during the farewell concert. Former drummer Jean Dolabella and former guitarist Jairo Guedz are set to join the celebration.
However, founding brothers Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera are not expected to reunite with the band for the final performance. The brothers previously said they prefer honoring early Sepultura music through their own projects and live performances.
According to Loudwire, Max Cavalera said in a 2025 interview with Full Metal Jackie: âMe and Igor, we have our own path, we're on our own thing. We're revisiting those old material on our own time. The way we did them was the way we always did which was from our heart. For us, it's really special to preserve that.â
Formed in 1984 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Sepultura became one of the most influential heavy metal bands of the late 1980s and 1990s. The group helped shape thrash metal, groove metal and death metal while building a global fanbase through albums like Beneath the Remains, Arise, Chaos A.D. and Roots.
The band sold nearly 20 million records worldwide and earned gold and platinum certifications across several countries, including Brazil, the United States, France and Australia.
Throughout the years, Sepulturaâs sound evolved from aggressive thrash and death metal into styles that also included groove metal, industrial influences, hardcore punk, and Brazilian tribal music. Their 1996 album Roots became especially important in heavy metal history and influenced later bands in the nu metal movement.
Over the decades, the group experienced several lineup changes. Max Cavalera left in 1997, while Igor Cavalera departed in 2006. Despite those changes, Andreas Kisser and Paulo Jr. helped continue the bandâs career alongside Derrick Green, who joined as vocalist in 1997.
In December 2023, the band announced plans for a farewell run celebrating its 40th anniversary. Guitarist Andreas Kisser later explained that the decision was influenced by personal experiences and the desire to end the journey on the bandâs own terms.
The farewell tour has continued through 2026, including the release of the EP The Cloud of Unknowing.Â
Tickets for the final concert will first become available through Santander pre-sale events before opening to the general public on May 30.

Nicolas Cage Dishes on Swinging Into His 60s as a 'Spider-Man for Aging Adults'
Nicolas Cage's turn as an aging Spider-Man from the 1930s in the new series, Spider-Noir, left fans and critics in awe, with many calling his performance one of the best of his career. Considering he's won multiple awards, including an Oscar, during his 40+ career, that speaks volumes to how vested he was in his performance. The actor even tailored his performance to the black-and-white format that viewers can opt to watch the Prime Video series in.
One factor the 62-year-old embraced was being an older Spider-Man. "Heâs far past his prime and gets his butt handed to him often in a brawl, but that makes him 'relatable,'" Cage told USA TODAY. "There's a lot of us getting older here, and we're not moving the same way we were when we were 18. And I think that's the difference."
"Heâs a Spider-Man for aging adults," he added.
Playing the wall-crawling hero obviously includes some stunt work. Despite feeling some hesitation, Cage enjoyed the wirework.
"You're always thinking, âThis could snap, and I'm going to drop,'" he explained. "But there's a bit of excitement and bliss: OK, this is dangerous, and I'm feeling some adrenaline in my body, and I'm enjoying myself."
Learning to Love the Web-SlingerWhile he has always been forthcoming about his love of Superman -- he even named his son Kal-El -- he admitted that he "learned to love Spider-Man, or understand the appeal of that character, much later." Cage first played Spider-Noir in the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In a 2018 interview with ScreenSlam, he explained why he immediately agreed to the role.
"To me, Spider-Man, the character, the Marvel comic character, is the ultimate. He is absolutely the reason that Marvel is the universe it is," Cage said. "He is the most high-action, watchable character, with a great sense of humor, and if it wasn't for Spider-Man, we wouldn't have all these other great characters."
The Future of 'Spider-Noir'Cage is already confirmed to be returning for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. And fortunately, thanks to the open ending of Season 1 of Spider-Noir, there are already whispers that a Season 2 is inevitable.
Princess Rajwa of Jordan Stunned at Jordan's Independence Day Celebrations
Princess Rajwa of Jordan looked beautiful in a flowing turquoise gown at the royal family's celebration of Jordanian Independence Day.
The dress's floor-length design and draped asymmetrical cape were perfectly offset by Rajwa's hair styled in beachy waves.
The dress's intricate gold cuffs were hand-cut to form lyrics from 'Urdon Ard Al Azm', Lebanese singer Fairuz's anthem to Jordan, in Arabic calligraphy.

In an Instagram post Dahbour wrote, "We are deeply grateful and honored to have created this piece for Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein on Jordanâs 80th Independence Day, and truly humbled by the trust and privilege of being selected for such a meaningful occasion, a celebration that holds a special place in every Jordanian heart."
The 32-year-old Saudi-born Rajwa and her husband Crown Prince Hussein stepped out on Jordan's 80th anniversary of gaining independence from the United Kingdom
King Abdullah and Queen Rania led a solemn ceremony marking the occasion that was also attended by their 25-year-old daughter Princess Salma and 21-year-old son Prince Hashem.
Like Rajwa, Rania and Salma wore flowing floor-length gowns. Rania's silver dress was embroidered in a style designed to evoke traditional Jordanian architectural patterns and the seven-point star on Jordan's flag.
Salma wore a dramatic red and black striped gown with ruffles.
A few days ago on an official trip to Germany Princess Rajwa channeled her British counterpart Kate Middleton by wearing a houndstooth suit by Alexander McQueen, one of the Princess of Wales' favorite designers.

Rajwa's fondness for the sharp silhouette of Alexander McQueen suits and her long dark hair have drawn inevitable comparisons to Kate.
Last October, when Kate and Prince William hosted Rajwa and Hussein at Windsor Castle, Tatler wrote of Rajwa's choice to wear Alexander McQueen on that occasion, "The move sparked fresh comparisons between the future queens."

Best-Selling Alternative Metal Album Re-Enters the Billboard 200 Over 23 Years Later
It's been just over 23 years since Evanescence released their debut album, and it just returned to the Billboard 200.
Fallen, the iconic 2003 alternative-metal album from Evanescence, re-entered the Billboard 200 this week, adding to its career total of 123 weeks spent on the albums chart.
According to new Billboard rankings, Evanescence just barely made it back onto the chart, occupying the 200th spot for the week dated May 30. Fallen, the gothic rock band's debut album, was released in March 2003, and it debuted on the Billboard 200 later that same month. It reached its peak in June of that year when it reached the No. 3 spot.
Fallen features some of the band's defining songs, like their smash hit "Bring Me To Life," which served as the album's lead single and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also includes other popular songs like "My Immortal," which reached No. 7 on the Hot 100 after it was released as a single in December 2003. Other songs on the tracklist include "Going Under," "Everybody's Fool," "Haunted" and more.
View this post on InstagramEvanescence has had two other albums chart higher than Fallen on the Billboard 200: The Open Door and Evanescence, which each had a one-week run at No. 1. But Fallen has spent more total weeks on the chart than any other album in the band's catalog.
Fallen was one of the best-selling albums of the entire year in 2003, selling over 17 million copies worldwide. It was the best-selling debut album of that year in the U.S., as well as the most-shipped rock album of 2003.
Rolling Stone included Fallen on its 2017 roundup of the 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time, placing it at No. 99.

Psychologist Says if You Have To Listen To Something While Walking, You Likely Have These 7 Traits
The benefits of walking are more than you might think. Sure, itâs great for cardiovascular health, but it can also decrease joint stiffness, reduce the risk of certain cancers, improve brain health and boost creativity. Pretty cool, right? For an extra challenge, you can make your walks more effective by increasing your heart rate. All that takes is a weighted vest or a path with some hills, just to name a couple of ideas.
While on a walkâwhether itâs five minutes long or 60âyou might like to listen to something. The options are endless, from audiobooks (which you can even find on Spotify) to podcasts to music and more. For some people, having their earbuds in and listening to something is a must on a walk. But why? (Well, other than both activities being enjoyable, so why not combine them?)
According to a psychologist, there are several reasons people listen to something while walking that go beyond âfor funâ (though doing it for fun is a very valid reason). Ahead, she shares seven common traits of people who always listen to something while walking; how those traits might differ between people who opt for an audiobook, music or a podcast; and how to safely engage in both activities simultaneously.

Why Do Some People Have To Listen to Something While Walking?Witthaya Prasongsin/Getty Images
Wondering about the psychology behind this common phenomenon? It comes down to this: Movement is not just something that involves your bodyâespecially when it comes to walking.
âFor many people, walking is not just physical; it is a mental space,â says Dr. Crystal Saidi, PsyD, a licensed psychologist with Thriveworks in Irvine, CA.Â
Itâs a time when they can process the events of their day, relax and even practice mindfulness out in nature. A relaxing or emotional song, or an inspiring mental health podcast, can help with that even more.
For some, all those thoughts can be a lot to manage, however. In that case, listening to something has a different benefit.Â
âComplete silence can also feel somewhat loud,â Dr. Saidi continues. âPeople who need to listen to something may have difficulty managing internal noise, they may seek stimulation, or they prefer to multitask and treat walking time as productivity time.âÂ
For example, you might want to âget some of your reading doneâ with an audiobook, or make some progress on your long list of saved podcasts. You might want to listen to some pumped-up anthems to keep your mind off your stressors.

Why Might Someone Listen To Music, Versus an Audiobook or a Podcast While Walking? We use the phrase âlisten to somethingâ because people listen to different things while walkingâincluding, but not necessarily limited to, music, audiobooks and podcasts. But talking about personality traits, how might they differ in a person who listens to one of those rather than the others? Or how might mood contribute to which one a person picks?Â
According to Dr. Saidi:
- People who choose music are more emotionally attuned, use rhythm to regulate their mood or use songs to process their feelings.
- People who choose podcasts are curious, intellectually engaged and learn better through âconversation.âÂ
- People who choose audiobooks are deep thinkers, prefer focused attention or value growth and reflection.

7 Traits of People Who Always Listen to Something While Walking, According to a PsychologistGenerally speaking, people who listen to something while walking have some or all of the following traits, Dr. Saidi reveals.
1. High cognitive activityThese individuals usually have a busy mind, according to Dr. Saidi.
"Their brain rarely ever shuts off, so silence can quickly turn into overthinking,â she explains. âListening to something gives thoughts structure and direction.â
2. Emotionally self-awareIf you like to listen to something while walking, you might be a deeply feeling personâand that can be scary or difficult.
âThey may feel deeply but donât always want to sit in those feelings unfiltered,â Dr. Saidi says. âMusic can help process emotions safely.â
3. Stimulation-seekingDo you always need something to think about or fidget with? Listening to something can help with that, especially while doing something as quiet and meditative as a walk.Â
âThey naturally crave input, whether mental, emotional or sensory,â Dr. Saidi explains. âSilence may feel underwhelming or even uncomfortable.â
4. Have a productivity-oriented mindsetListening while walking can also feel productive, like the phrase about killing two birds with one stone.
âThey want to turn even their walk into learning time, or feel guilty not being productive,â Dr. Saidi says.
5. Mildly avoidantDonât like having too much time to think, or ruminating on a concern you donât want to deal with? You might put in your earbuds to avoid it all.
âThey may be avoiding anxious thoughts, boredom or emotional pain or discomfort,â Dr. Saidi says. âSometimes, listening to music or audiobooks is more about escape.â
6. Habit-driven regulationWearing headphones and being stimulated both cognitively and physically can also become routine.
âNow their brain expects it,â Dr. Saidi says. âWalking without audio could now feel odd or uncomfortable.â
7. Desire for companionshipWhen you canât or donât feel like talking to someone, but donât want to be alone, listening to others talk can fill that âgapâ or âholeâ of connection.
âVoices reduce feelings of isolation, and it can almost feel like âbeing with someone,ââ Dr. Saidi says.
Should You Listen To Something While Walking?Clearly, listening to something while walking helps some individuals. Should you try it if you havenât already?
According to Dr. Saidi, it depends on the person and the benefits it provides them.
âThere is no right or wrong way,â she says. âIf it improves your mood and motivates movement, then it should be considered helpful.â
How dangerous is it to walk and listen to something?Itâs important to note that this habit comes with risks.
âWhile the activity itself isnât dangerous, it can reduce awareness of surroundings, delay reaction time and increase risk in busy or unfamiliar situations,â Dr. Saidi states.Â
For example, you might not see or hear a car coming, or realize youâre being followed on a trail in the woods.
How to stay safe while walking and listening to somethingKeeping dangers in mind, how can you stay safe while listening to something in public?Â
âTry to keep the volume low or perhaps only use one earbud in busy areas,â Dr. Saidi recommends. âStay visually alert, especially at intersections and trust your gut instinct. If something feels âoff,â pause the audio.â
After all, while pleasure, emotional processing and feeling productive are important, so is safety. Let safety come firstâyou can get back to Taylor Swift or ACOTAR later.

â70s Rock Legend and Lead Singer of âWorldâs Greatest Party Bandâ Turns 78
Kate Pierson has turned 78, continuing a music career that has lasted nearly five decades with the legendary party-rock group The B-52s.
Known for her soaring vocals, colorful stage style and keyboard work, Pierson helped shape the sound of hits such as âLove Shack,â âRock Lobster,â âRoam,â and âPrivate Idaho.âÂ
Fans and music critics have long connected her voice with the bandâs quirky and dance-filled sound that made The B-52s one of the most recognizable acts to come out of the late 1970s and 1980s.
The group, often called âThe Worldâs Greatest Party Band,â is still performing today. The B-52s recently extended their Las Vegas shows at The Venetian Theatre after strong fan demand. The current lineup continues to feature founding members Pierson, Fred Schneider and Cindy Wilson.

In a 2023 interview, Pierson reflected on why the bandâs music has lasted so long.
âI just feel like weâve had this unique niche, a unique spot in the music pantheon of being just different,â Pierson said. âWe are a really different band. Weâve stood the test of time, just because weâre so unique. We donât really fall into a genre.â
Born Catherine Elizabeth Pierson, in Weehawken, Pierson later studied journalism at Boston University before traveling around Europe in the early 1970s.
After moving to Athens, she met the musicians who would form The B-52s in 1976. The band quickly became known for combining surf rock, dance music, punk energy and playful performances into a style that stood apart from other groups of the era.
Piersonâs keyboard bass playing became one of the bandâs trademarks. Instead of using a traditional bass guitarist in the groupâs early years, Pierson often handled the low-end sound herself during recordings and live shows.
Outside of The B-52s, Pierson built an impressive list of collaborations. She appeared on songs with artists including Iggy Pop, R.E.M., The Ramones, David Byrne and Fatboy Slim.
One of her best-known guest appearances came on Iggy Popâs 1990 hit âCandy.â She also sang on R.E.M.âs âShiny Happy Peopleâ and âMe in Honey,â helping bring her unmistakable voice to another generation of alternative rock fans.
Pierson launched her solo career with the 2015 album Guitars and Microphones, which included material co-written by Sia. In 2024, she released her second solo album, Radios & Rainbows.
Pierson remains active both on stage and in music projects. Earlier this month, she performed during a tribute event celebrating the 40th anniversary of Pee-wee's Playhouse at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles.

— lucy đ» (@hadedeverything) May 5, 2026She also recently joined the lineup for the 2026 Womenâs Rock âNâ Roll Fantasy Camp in Los Angeles alongside artists such as Belinda Carlisle, Cherie Currie and Kathy Valentine.
Nearly 50 years after The B-52s first formed, the singerâs voice and style remain closely tied to the bandâs fun-loving identity and lasting influence on pop culture.
Oscar Winnerâs New Thriller Blends Music and Crime in a Way No One Saw Coming
We are quite literally witnessing a new golden age of unforgettable music movie moments. From John Carneyâs Power Ballad and Ryan Cooglerâs Sinners to David Loweryâs Mother Mary and even Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, the screen is alive with the sound of music.Â
The latest melody-focused film that will no doubt be music to your ears is Tuner, a neo-noir crime thriller about a former piano prodigy who uses his hypersensitive hearing to crack safes and score massive paydays.
View this post on InstagramFilled with top-notch talent, the film was co-written and directed by Oscar-winning helmer Daniel Roher, who won the 2023 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for Navalny. In front of the camera, there is two-time Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman and rising star Leo Woodall, with Havana Rose Liu and Tovah Feldshuh rounding out the cast.Â
Woodall stars as Niki White, a soft-spoken piano tuner who sports earplugs and headphones because of an auditory medical condition called hyperacusis â sound sensitivity Niki boils down to being âallergic to loud noises.â Once he learns his heightened sensitivities allow him to hear when a safe combination precisely locks into place, he turns to a life of crime. Hoffman, who steals every scene heâs in, plays Nikiâs surrogate father and mentor, Harry Horowitz.Â
Though the film releases in theaters nationwide Friday, May 29, itâs already enjoyed a limited release and strong festival run, screening at Telluride and TIFF last fall and Sundance this past winter. Those early showings are the reason it's sitting at an impressive 94% critics score and 92% fan rating on Rotten Tomatoes ahead of its wide release.Â
Hereâs a little snapshot of what the critics are saying:
âSo assured and satisfying is Roherâs latest that it inadvertently highlights the rarity of this level of craftsmanship at the multiplex,â Daily Beast writes in its review. âHis gem is too modest and self-contained to change that sad state of affairs. Nonetheless, its excellence provides hope that there are still talented artists capable of, and committed to, breathing fresh life into classical forms â and that, when done correctly, there are few things better than a thriller that knows how to conduct underworld action like a maestro.â
âTuner is an enjoyable caper with a lot of elements you've seen in other movies, but rarely in this order ⊠the unique setup keeps you engaged right up until the final note is played,â Collider shares, also calling the film "the year's most unique thriller."
âAn Oscar winner just a few years ago for Navalny, Roher has now crafted an engaging mix of character study and suspense caper,â The Hollywood Reporter says, adding, "There are no flaws in Woodallâs performance. If this movie does not catapult him to starring ranks, then there are few remaining certainties in todayâs cinematic landscape."
Though itâs unlikely to produce a No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Tuner, with its stellar cast and part-jazz/part-electronic score by Will Bates, classical compositions by Marius de Vries, and vintage tracks by Herbie Hancock, produces a soundscape as stylized as its story.

Why Billy Bob Thornton Was âLiterally Cryingâ Over a Sudden Phone Call About His 1993 'Tombstone' Co-Star
Billy Bob Thornton had a very emotional reaction to this very iconic Western actor joining the Landman cast.
In a recent Paramount+ Q&A panel, the hit dramaâs stars, Billy Bob Thornton, AliLarter, DemiMoore, and SamElliott opened up about working on the series.
When asked how he reacted to learning that Elliott would play his father in the second season, Thornton joked, âI called my agent and screamed at him.â
Landman follows Thorntonâs character, TommyNorris, who works as a landman for an oil company in West Texas. As the second season approached, the search for the actor who would play Tommyâs father began. Elliott was the clear choice. Â
The showâs creator, Taylor Sheridan, called Thornton to give him the news.
âThat is the absolute truth,â the actor said. âHe goes, âHold on to your britches,â and when he told me it was Sam, I went to my wife, Connie, and I was literally crying when I told her. Because I love this guy.â
He explained that the actors go âway, way back.â The pair worked together on the 1993 film Tombstone and more recently on the 2021 show 1883, which was also created by Sheridan.
Elliotâs time on the show influenced him to join Landman.
He explained, âafter having an experience with Taylor on â1883,â and getting to know him, and being a part of âTaylor Worldâ if you want to call it that⊠itâs just a gift to be a part of it. Working with this caliber of actors and having that material that Taylor Sheridan generates consistently, you canât ask for any more. Weâre just so lucky to be here and do what we do.â
Landman premiered in 2024, with the second season released in late 2025. It is renewed for a third season.
The series has been extremely popular. The first episode of the second season received 9.2 million views in two days. This was a 262% increase from the Landman premiere and a Paramount+ record.
âAll in the Familyâ Star Sally Struthers, 78, Is Still a Blonde TV Icon in Rare Social Media Appearance
Sally Struthers may be best known for her role on All in the Family, but the beloved actress also has a major following thanks to her role on Gilmore Girls.
Struthers, 78, rose to stardom as Gloria Stivic, the daughter of Archie and Edith Bunker, on the iconic TV sitcomAll in the Family. Her character, who was married to Michael "Meathead" Stivic, played by Rob Reiner, will always be known as a piece of TV history. An active voice-over artist, Struthers is still appearing onscreen and currently stars alongside Ted Danson on Netflix's A Man on the Inside. But in a rare social media appearance, Struthers reunited with one of her former co-stars from another much-loved show: Gilmore Girls!
Smiling up at the camera with her trademark blonde, wavy hair sitting on her shoulders, Struthers stood alongside Rose Abdoo, who played Gypsy, the local mechanic on Gilmore Girls. Struthers, of course, played Babette, a neighbor of Lorelai and Rory in the sweet town of Stars Hollow.

Did Bettina Anderson Just Become Bettina Trump? Fans Spotted a Quiet Clue
Eagle-eyed social media users just noticed a pretty major change to Bettina Andersonâs Instagram account. Following her weekend wedding to Donald Trump Jr. in an intimate ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas, the bride changed her name and bio!
Thatâs right, itâs Instagram official. Instead of âBettina Anderson,â PresidentDonald Trumpâs newest daughter-in-law is now calling herself âBettina Trump.â But thatâs not all.
The brand-new bride also changed her bio from âIâm just your typical stay at home momâŠonly I donât do household choresâŠor have a husbandâŠor have kidsâ to âMarried Not domesticated.â Of course, now that she does actually have a husband (i.e., Don Jr.), Bettinaâs older bio no longer makes sense. And weâre all wondering if her not-having-a-husband status is the only change sheâll make. After all, she did call herself a housewife without kids. Now the public is left to wonder whether the couple has baby plans for the future. As of now, neither Bettina nor her husband, Don Jr., has mentioned expanding their family.Â
When Did Bettina Trump Change Her Name?ÂThere was some speculation that Trump Jr.âs wife would retain her maiden name after she reportedly filed the coupleâs marriage license under âBettina Anderson.â But now it looks like things have taken a turn.
While her IG username is an obvious change, it isnât the only one that fans noticed. Anderson (make that Trump) previously shared photos on her Stories of a white piece of satin with the name âMrs. Trumpâ embroidered at the center and a zippered clutch with the initials âBTâ printed on the side.Â
Did Bettina Trump Share Photos of Her Wedding?Even though other Trump family members have shared pics from the weekend wedding in the Bahamas, Bettina has only revealed a few somewhat cryptic photos. Her new SILs, TiffanyTrump, IvankaTrump, and LaraTrump, posted snapshots from their tropical trip, showing off wedding-ready gowns and designer outfits. Bettina took a subtly sly approach, leaving her fans guessing.
What Else Did Donald Trump Jr.âs New Wife Share Online? After revealing shots of her wedding band and a âTrump Movie Nightâ on the beach, Bettina recently posted (on her Instagram Stories) a steamy ocean picture of herself and Don Jr. embracing in the crystal clear water. The new Mrs. Trump also added a few aerial views of the island, making just about everyone jealous of the private getaway; a pic of herself strolling on the beach with the title "happy wife, happy life"; and a picture of Don Jr. holding his "treasures" (sand dollars).
Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark Makes Her Top Song Choice Clear
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark gave fans a fun look into her personal playlist during a recent Q&A session.Â
During the Q&A, Clark did not hesitate when asked what song she likes most before games. Her answer was simple: âApplauseâ by Lady Gaga.
Clarkâs choice of âApplauseâ also matches the high-energy style fans have come to expect from the basketball superstar. Lady Gagaâs hit single, released in 2013 from the album Artpop, became one of the singerâs biggest global songs and is known for its upbeat dance-pop sound and powerful chorus.

The song was released on Aug. 12, 2013, as the lead single from Gagaâs third studio album, Artpop. It was written and produced by Gaga, DJ White Shadow, Dino Zisis and Nick Monson, with additional songwriting credits from Martin Bresso, Nicolas Mercier, Julien Arias and William Grigahcine.

— Post Moves with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston (@PostMovesShow) May 20, 2026âApplauseâ became a worldwide hit and reached the top 10 in several countries. The track topped charts in Greece, Hungary, Lebanon and Spain. In the United States, it peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later earned a 4Ă Platinum certification from the RIAA.
The songâs message centers around performance, fame and the energy artists receive from their fans. The track also became known for its colorful music video, dramatic performances and strong dance beats. Critics praised the songâs catchy chorus and compared its style to Gagaâs earlier hits from The Fame era.
Meanwhile, the Fever star is on the verge of making league history. Clark enters Indianaâs next game against the Golden State Valkyries with 497 career assists. Once she reaches 500 assists, she will officially qualify as the WNBAâs all-time leader in assists per game.
Her current average of 8.6 assists per game is far ahead of the current qualifying leader, Courtney Vandersloot. Clark has averaged at least eight assists in each of her first three professional seasons.
Clark missed time in 2025 due to soft tissue injuries, which delayed her path toward the assists milestone. Even so, the 24-year-old remains one of the leagueâs top playmakers.
For now, Clark made it clear that âApplauseâ is the perfect song to get game-ready.

1985 Music Video Turned an Emotional Hit Into a Defining MTV Anthem
The emotionally charged 1985 hit "Voices Carry" by 'Til Tuesday had '80s fans immediately obsessed, and its unforgettable music video turned the song into something even bigger. From the moment viewers laid eyes on cool-as-hell, lead singer Aimee Mann and her spiky, platinum-bleached locks to the iconic scream in the final scene, "Voices Carry" became one of those music videos fans simply couldnât shake.
With its haunting melody and vulnerable lyrics, âVoices Carryâ had a power that instantly captured music fans and made the new wave song a hit. Mann's restrained vocals gave the lyrics an intense and anxious loneliness. Lines like "I'm in the dark, I'd like to read his mind / But I'm frightened of the things I might find" and "I try so hard not to get upset / Because I know all the trouble I'll get" nailed the relatable, simmering tension of feeling trapped.
Related: 1984 Power Anthem Became One of the Most Adrenaline-Fueled Songs of the â80s
The success of "Voices Carry" only grew once its unforgettable music video landed in heavy rotation on MTV. More sophisticated and emotionally layered than many mid-1980s videos, it transformed the song from a melancholy new wave hit into powerful storytelling. The video tackled abusive relationship dynamics at a time when those conversations were pretty "hush hush."
The video opens with an increasingly controlling boyfriend, played by late actor Cully Holland, criticizing his girlfriend, portrayed by Mann. "I'm so happy the band is doing well," he says dripping with sarcasm. "By the way, what's with the hair? Is that part of the new image?" From there, the tension steadily builds as Mannâs character retreats into the music studio, where practicing âVoices Carryâ becomes both an escape and a growing act of self-expression.
As the boyfriendâs jealousy burns into a rage, the video becomes surprisingly intense and realistic for MTV at the time. Mannâs wide-eyed and vulnerable performance gives the story poignancy, especially during the songâs bridge: âOh, he wants me / But only part of the time / He wants me / If he can keep me in line.â By the time the now-iconic ending arrives, the video feels less like a standard music promo and more like a cathartic story about finally refusing to stay silent.
By the dramatic end scene, set in Carnegie Hall, the girlfriend is fed up and ready to let go of emotional suppression and (perhaps) her terrible boyfriend. In the theater seats at a performance, her boyfriend belittles her braided hair tail one last time and in an almost hypnotic uprising, the girlfriend begins singing aloud, her own voices lifting her out of the seat until she's belting out the passionate outro, "He said shut up, he said to shut up / Oh God, can't you keep it down?"
The brilliant and cathartic release and the characters demand to finally be seen resonated strongly in the MTV era, too. Years before these sensitive conversations became mainstream, the music video transformed âVoices Carryâ from a hit pop new wave song into something far more culturally resonant.
The hit song "Voices Carry" by 'Til Tuesday was released on March 28, 1985, as the lead single from their debut studio album of the same name. While the entire bandâlead singer and bassist Aimee Mann, guitarist Robert Holmes, keyboardist Joey Pesce, and drummer Michael Hausmanâis credited with the music, Mann wrote the lyrics. "Voices Carry" became the band's biggest hit, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, and won the 1985 MTV Video Music Award for "Best New Artist in a Video."
Mann became an unlikely MTV icon during this time. Her unique style, understated presence, and emotional authenticity was definitely in contrast with flashier â80s pop stars. Her time in 'Til Tuesday ignited a long future musical career as a solo artist.
You can thank Gen X nostalgia the songâs lasting legacy and continued resonance, but it's found new audiences as well. To date, the '80s hit has over 72 million streams on Spotify. âVoices Carryâ and its themes of emotional control and toxic relationship dynamics still feel surprisingly modern decades later. It felt ahead of its time on the topic of reclaiming your voice, and the final scene and her iconic scream became MTV history.
More than 40 years later, âVoices Carryâ remains memorable not just because of its melody, but because it gave voice to emotions many viewers instantly recognized but rarely saw portrayed so openly on MTV. It was one of the early songs that pushed the power of MTV storytelling, and âVoices Carryâ left an enduring impact as a defining MTV anthem.

We Ranked All 15 Waterloo Sparkling Water Flavorsâand the Winner Won by a Landslide
Over the last few summers, flavored sparkling water has completely taken over peopleâs fridges, coolers, cupholders and pool bagsâand for very good reason. Sometimes plain water just doesnât cut it when you want something refreshing and fun, but you also donât want to drink a sugary soda all day long. Thatâs where brands like Waterloo Sparkling Water have really found their lane. The flavors (15 of them!) are bold, creative and way more exciting than many of the âhint of flavorâ seltzers out there.
One of the things I personally love most about sparkling water is that you still get that bubbly, satisfying soda experience without the sugar crash. And I'm far from the only one who feels this way.
For this taste test of all of the Waterloo Sparking Water flavors ranked, I recruited my husband Jimmy, who is a huge sparkling beverage fan (aka a huge Diet Coke guy) and almost always has a cold can of something sparking within armâs reach. I wanted a second opinion from someone who drinks sparkling water daily and has strong feelings about flavor balance, sweetness and carbonation.
On our little assigned date afternoon, we armed ourselves with ice-filled glasses and 15 chilled cans to sip through. We chugged our way through fruity favorites, citrus blends and Guy Fieriâs wildly chaotic Flavortown flavors to determine which ones are actually worth stocking in your beverage fridges this summer.

What Does Guy Fieri Have To Do With Waterloo?Guy Fieri teamed up with Waterloo for a series of over-the-top âFlavortownâ sparkling water collaborations inspired by nostalgic desserts and summer flavors. Recent releases include Coconut Lime Cooler, Root Beer Float and Apple Pie Ă la Mode.
Previous limited-edition flavors included Lemon Italian Ice, Huckleberry Cobbler and Spiced Mango Sorbet.

How I Tested These 15 Waterloo FlavorsTo keep the tasting as fair as possible, Jimmy and I chilled every flavor thoroughly before pouring them over ice in identical glasses.
We tasted each flavor side-by-side, paying attention to aroma, carbonation, sweetness perception, balance and how accurately the flavor matched the name on the can.
We also considered whether weâd actually want to drink a full can again or if one sip was enough.

15 Waterloo Sparkling Water Flavors, Ranked Worst To BestHere's how the ranking sipped out after trying all 15 Waterloo flavors:
15. Guy Fieriâs Flavortown Apple Pie Ă la ModeCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
Before even opening the can, I wasnât entirely convinced I wanted to consume sparkling apple pie in beverage form. The first smell delivered heavy apple pie spice notes, but after sipping, the flavor leaned more âpumpkin spice candleâ than actual pie Ă la mode with minimal vanilla notes.
Jimmy pointed out that the can artwork made it feel far creamier and more dessert-like than the actual flavor delivered. Not for us...
Courtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This one landed firmly at the bottom for both of us. To me, it tasted exactly like childrenâs grape cough syrup, while Jimmy compared it to a melted purple ice pop. Either way, we both agreed it leaned heavily into that unmistakably artificial âgrape flavorâ territory that feels more candy-like than refreshing.
13. Guy Fieriâs Flavortown Lemon Italian IceCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
As two New Jersey kids who grew up loving Italian ice, we were genuinely excited for this one, but it didnât quite live up to the nostalgic promise. Instead of tasting sweet, tart and punchy like a true lemon Italian ice, it mostly tasted like a muted lemon sparkling water. It wasnât bad, but it definitely didnât transport us to the boardwalk the way we hoped.

One of Waterlooâs newest flavors, Banana Berry Bliss immediately made us both nervous because banana is such a dominant flavor. Surprisingly, the banana wasnât overwhelming, but it definitely gave nostalgic banana candy vibes...the kind youâd get from coin machines at pizza places as a kid.
Jimmy thought the berry balanced things out well, while I kept describing it as âsparkling smoothie energy.â Fun to try, but not something Iâd personally stock up on.

This one smells intensely coconut-forward at the very crack of the can. Unfortunately, for me, the best way I could describe the taste was "the way sunscreen smells," which is both oddly specific and somehow accurate.
Jimmy actually liked this one most out of the Guy Fieri lineup, but we both wished the lime came through more strongly to brighten everything up and cut down on the intense coconut flavor.

This flavor landed very squarely in the middle for both of us. Neither of us hated it, but neither of us felt particularly excited by it either. I wanted a sweeter, punchier cherry flavor, while Jimmy thought the citrus dominated a little too much. Itâs drinkable, but slightly forgettable.

Raspberry isnât typically my favorite flavor because it can easily overpower everything else, but I appreciated that the nectarine still came through here. To me, it tasted more peachy than nectarine-specific, while Jimmy thought the raspberry notes hit first and the nectarine followed afterward. Overall, it felt balanced and refreshing.
8. Summer BerryCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This flavor immediately gets bonus points for its adorable patriotic can design, which feels perfect for putting out in coolers an ice buckets for summer parties and holiday weekends. Flavor-wise, though, both of us agreed it leaned much more blueberry-forward than the mixed berry blend advertised on the can.
Still, it was refreshing, fruity and very easy to drink.

Classic for a reason. This flavor tasted exactly how youâd want a lemon-lime sparkling water to taste: crisp, refreshing and balanced between both citrus flavors. Nothing groundbreaking, but very reliable.
6. Melon MedleyCourtesy Jeanette Donnarumma
This ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the tasting. I immediately said, âOh, I really like thisâ after the first sip because you rarely find melon-flavored sparkling waters.
Instead of leaning heavily watermelon, it delivered strong cantaloupe and honeydew vibes in a way that felt unique and unexpectedly refreshing.

Without question, this was the strongest Guy Fieri flavor of the bunch. It delivered noticeable sassafras flavor alongside actual vanilla notes (unlike the a la mode situation), which made it feel far more accurate to its inspiration than the other dessert-inspired options.
Jimmy wished it had a creamier finish, but we both agreed this one genuinely worked and are intrigued to pour it over some vanilla ice cream soon.

Simple, refreshing and very well executed. Sometimes single-flavor sparkling waters work best because thereâs no competition happening in the can, and thatâs exactly the case here.
The peach flavor is strong without becoming artificial, and I could absolutely see this being used as the base for brunch mocktails with fresh fruit.

This one tasted incredibly clean, refreshing and bright. The strawberry flavor was strong in the best possible way, and I immediately thought it would make an amazing sparkling strawberry lemonade when mixed with fresh lemonade.
Easily one of the most drinkable flavors of the entire lineup.

Both of us loved this far more than we expected to. Itâs light, citrusy and incredibly refreshing, with just enough sweetness to keep it balanced without becoming tart.
I immediately thought it would pair beautifully in a skinny margarita, while Jimmy described it as âdelightfulâ from the very first sip.

This flavor has quietly become a staple in our fridge thanks to the seasonal variety pack at Costco, and after tasting everything side-by-side, it fully earned the top spot. While it definitely leans more blackberry-forward than lemonade, the balance works beautifully.
Itâs refreshing, flavorful and feels like the kind of sparkling water you could happily drink all summer long. Jimmy described it as âberry-forward with minimal citrus,â but we both agreed it was simply delicious.

Final TakeawaysAfter tasting 15 different Waterloo flavors back-to-back, one thing became very clear: Waterloo isnât afraid to have fun with sparkling water. Some flavors worked far better than others, but the best ones managed to feel refreshing, nostalgic and genuinely exciting without relying on sugar or sweeteners.
