Finding the right perfume after 50 is less about following trends and more about understanding what you love, what works well on you and how your skin may have changed—perhaps causing your favorite fragrance to change as well.

"As we age, our skin naturally loses moisture and experiences hormonal shifts, especially post-menopause," says Kershen Teo, founder and perfumer at Prosody London. "Because fragrance binds to the natural lipids and oils in our skin, drier skin means perfume has less to hold onto."

The result is that a scent you've worn for years can suddenly smell different on you or fade more quickly. If your current signature scent has started to feel off, Teo says that's worth paying attention to.

"It may be time to reconsider if the fragrance no longer feels right for who you are today," he explains. "Many popular designer fragrances are formulated specifically for a younger demographic—very sweet, very fresh, high on synthetic musks. If your current scent feels too young, too loud or simply no longer expresses you, that's a legitimate reason to move on—not just olfactory fatigue but personal evolution."

Teo works with clients navigating this change. Women over 50, he says, are moving away from "overly sweet, mass-market, one-note scents" and gravitating toward fragrances with depth, scents that feel complex and layered. Warm ambers, sophisticated musks and modern florals anchored by unexpected base notes are all having a moment with this demographic.

We asked Teo to share the nine perfumes he sees women over 50 reaching for right now—plus the expert advice that helps any fragrance to last longer on mature skin.

What Fragrance Families Work Best for Women Over 50?

Teo says specific fragrance families tend to resonate more with mature women.

"There is a massive shift toward skin-musks, upscale gourmands—think rich vanilla and deep amber rather than cotton candy—and modern chypres," he shares. "What these scents have in common is depth and presence."

Three fragrance families in particular are standing out right now, he says.

• Warm ambers and woody notes offer "an earthy, grounded warmth that feels incredibly elegant and self-assured."
• Modern florals—not the powdery roses of decades past, but "crisp, green, or white florals paired with unexpected base notes like cedar, vetiver, or warm balsams"—are also having a major moment.
• And sophisticated musks, the kind that blend with natural body chemistry and smell effortless, are consistently popular.

"Women in this demographic generally aren't looking to blend into the background," Teo states. "They want fragrances that feel intentional, high-quality and evoke a sense of quiet luxury."

Does Skin Chemistry Change as We Age—and How Does That Affect Fragrance?

Skin chemistry does change, and it matters more than most people realize. As Teo shared above, our skin "naturally loses moisture" as we get older, which, of course, makes it naturally drier. Fragrance can no longer grab onto "the natural lipids and oils in our skin" like it used to.

"This can cause top notes to evaporate much faster, or cause certain synthetic elements to turn sharp or sour," he continues.

The fix isn't complicated, but it does require a slight adjustment in how you shop.

"Eau de Parfum or Parfum/Extrait concentrations perform much better than lighter body sprays," he says. "Richer, natural base notes like sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla and plant resins inherently have larger molecular structures, meaning they evaporate much more slowly."

How To Choose the Right Perfume After 50

Teo's advice is to "look for complexity, high oil concentration and how the scent evolves after two hours on the skin," he says. "Always test a fragrance on your skin rather than a paper blotter." Paper gives you an opening note; your skin tells you the full story.

He says to avoid "cheaply formulated, overly synthetic fruity-floral scents. These formulations often lack the grounding base notes required to develop gracefully on drier skin."

How To Make Perfume Last Longer on Mature Skin

The best practice is to apply perfume to hydrated skin.

"Moisture is the ultimate primer for perfume," states Teo. "The absolute best trick is to apply an unscented body oil or a rich, unscented lotion right out of the shower before spraying your perfume. This gives the fragrance oils an emollient base to lock onto, easily doubling its lifespan on the skin."

He also recommends spraying your clothes—specifically the shoulders.

"Fabrics hold onto fragrance molecules much longer than dry skin does," he shares.

Where To Apply Perfume for Maximum Longevity

Beyond the classic pulse points, Teo recommends a layered approach.

"Try spraying the back of your neck where your hair catches and diffuses the scent with movement, and the hydration points like your collarbones or the insides of your elbows," he suggests.

For the best balance of immediate projection and all-day wear: "Some on the skin at the collarbones to warm up the scent, and some on the shoulders of your clothing to preserve it," he says.

The Killers' "Mr. Brightside" is named the Best Road Trip Track of All Time by Spotify. The tool Playlist Miner ran through thousands of Spotify songs with titles that linked to road trip songs.

The overall winner was the 22-year-old rocking heartbreak song. With its mix of angst and high energy, it remains at the top of Spotify users' playlists as a tune that's perfect for the open road.

The Killers' Brandon Flowers wrote the song after he realized his girlfriend was cheating on him. It was one of the first songs he and Dave Keuning composed, and they played it during their debut performance as a band.

"Mr. Brightside" tells the story of a jilted lover spiraling through jealousy and suspicion after sensing betrayal in a relationship. It builds on that emotional tension with a driving rock energy that has helped make it one of the most enduring songs of the 2000s.

According to The New York Times, "Mr. Brightside" was initially released in 2004. However, it took a year for it to reach the Billboard Hot 100, where, in June 2025, it peaked at No. 10.

Its driving beat and emotional lyrics turned it into one of the most recognizable rock anthems of the 2000s, where it was famously featured in the television series The O.C. and the feature film The Holiday.

"Mr. Brightside" was recognized by The Guinness Book of World Records for its longevity on the charts. It currently has the "longest stay on the UK singles chart by a group and the most cumulative weeks on UK singles chart (one song)."

Flowers told the Guinness organization, "It’s infectious still to us. I know some people can’t wrap their heads around it, but you’ll see the response [when you see it live]."

He added, “It’s tough not to be touched by it or be excited by it, and there’s going to be people tonight who’ve never seen it live; there’ll be some people who’ve seen it 45 times. And we just don’t get tired of it.”

More than 20 years later, "Mr. Brightside" still hasn’t faded from playlists or pop culture. It’s one of those rare tracks that somehow still hits just as hard now as it did when it first came out.

“Disgusting” seems to be the running reaction from fans after learning Olivia Rodrigo has been subjected to the aroma of fans’ diapers while on stage.

During an interview with U.K. radio show KISS Breakfast, Rodrigo said she’s gotten a whiff of what’s happening in the first few rows. “I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show,” she said. “That's been an experience of a performer that I have smelled and experienced.”

Rodrigo compared it to how many New Year’s Eve revelers prepare for the ball drop in New York City. “It's also like with the ball drop in New York for New Year's Eve, everyone is wearing diapers — they sit there all day,” she said. “That's a thing. I think about it kind of often. It's a real thing.”

The reason Rodrigo even addressed the phenomenon is because she was seen reading a sign during a 2025 concert. In the video, she’s heard saying, “‘Wearing diapers for front row.’ Is that true? Did you guys wear diapers? You're wearing a diaper to be in the front row?”

The person must have responded affirmatively because she replied, “Wow. Wow, that's actually amazing,” she said. “I love you. Thank you for doing that.”

While Rodrigo was impressed, several fans who read the story weren't with the diaper game. A slew of "disgusting" comments flooded Threads; other people went deeper by writing, "That’s gotta be among the most disgusting, undignified things I’ve ever heard. And so rude! Not only to the performer but to all the fans within range of the noxious fumes. Ewwwww."

Others appreciated that "someone finally said it" and wondered if "it was worth" wearing a diaper to maintain their seat status.

One person said the smell alone would stop them in their tracks. "I'd stop performing if i started smelling dirty diapers when i sing. Gtfo. Like is it a concert or a daycare? Effing ew," they commented.

How I Tested These Cardigans

Cardigans have become quite the staple in my wardrobe—especially throughout the spring and summer. They’re easy to slip on with just the right bottoms—even leggings on a chilly day—for a seamless outfit that looks put-together without trying too hard. 

I set out to test nine lightweight cardigans from some of my favorite stores, such as GAP and American Eagle. I wore one each day for a different plan, including working on my laptop at coffee shops, running errands, brunching, date nights and even walking my pups. I got a solid feel of comfort and determined which style works best for various occasions and moods.

I love it paired with denim shorts, flip-flops and a dad cap for a vibe that’s casual yet chic, without trying. I would absolutely purchase it again.

When in doubt, GAP consistently delivers tried-and-true classics. From airy sundresses to flattering denim—and everything in between—I can do serious damage in this store, and cardigans are no exception. 

I especially love this cropped cardigan because it’s arguably the softest style out of the batch I tested, thanks to its 53% cotton, 24% nylon and 23% acrylic blend. It’s available in the most classic year-round colors, including camel tan heather (as pictured), light heather grey, new classic navy blue, ivory beige frost and black. Because, let’s be honest: cardigans aren’t only a staple in the colder months!

If you’re searching for a budget-friendly find that doesn’t skimp on quality, consider this cardigan from Target. It looks and feels well-made without breaking the bank. The pattern reminds me of the cute fitted cardigans I wore in the 2000s with denim skirts and camis, and I’m all about it. I opted for the spicy red hue, which is so fun for summertime, but this cardigan also comes in navy blue, cream, gray, pink and blue.

I’ve officially dubbed this Old Navy find the “Summer I Turned Pretty” cardigan. The tie-front and ruffle detailing add an effortlessly girly, delicate touch that makes me feel like I should be sipping rosé at an aesthetically pleasing picnic or strolling amongst a lush garden full of vibrant hydrangeas.

Since this one is currently sold out, Old Navy does have a great range of cardigans as a whole (and hopefully they bring back a style similar to this one, or they restock it).

While I would absolutely choose several of these cardigans to toss on with jeans or shorts for everyday wear, this pick from Pacsun truly stands out. The knit fabric is effortlessly comfy, and the slim fit hugs my body in all the right places without feeling too tight or restrictive.

The XS I tried fit true to size while leaving the ideal amount of room in the arms and bodice, so I can move around comfortably while going about my daily tasks. I selected the bright blue to add a vibrant pop of color to my summer ‘fits, but this cardigan also comes in pink, green, navy and yellow.

This beautiful floral pick is truly a statement cardigan. Its bold print and sequin detailing command—and deserve—attention. While I purchased it from TJ Maxx, it's no longer sold there but is in-stock at Macy's.

What I love most is that the garment doesn’t feel like an afterthought—it gives major main character energy. It’s low-effort in the best way possible. I don’t need much more than white jeans and navy blue kitten heels to style it and be on my way to plans.

If you love adding feminine detailing to your wardrobe as much as I do, consider this pick from Aeropostale. The cardigan fits like a glove and is possibly the most form-fitting style out of the bunch I tested. 

I purchased this cardigan in several colors—including the cadet navy and cream—and it’s such a pretty piece to pair with my floral maxi skirts, breezy sundresses, white jeans and honestly everything in between. What sets this cardigan apart is the dainty scalloped rib-knit collar and placket trim, adding that extra-special touch.

It’s undeniably perfect for any coastal getaway, beach bonfire or backyard barbecue this season—and it’s longing to be included in your patriotic 4th of July and Labor Day Weekend looks. 

What I love most about this cardigan is the lightweight and breathable fabric. Even on warmer days, I can still plan my outfit around it and not stress. I especially love it tossed over a white tube top and accessorized with a chunky red or navy blue headband and small hoop earrings.

Prince George is going to Eton College in the fall—meaning Kate Middleton may have lost a battle with Prince William.

Kensington Palace recently confirmed that the 12-year-old future king is set to follow in his father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry's footsteps, who are both alumni of the elite boys-only boarding school.

But how much does it cost, and was it the Prince and Princess of Wales' first choice of school for their oldest son?

Here's what the royal family probably doesn't want you to know!

Eton was founded in 1440 and costs an eyewatering $84,000 per year. It educates boys aged between 13 and 18 and accepts 270 students per year.

Realistically, George was always going to start attending Eton when he turned 13, despite rumors that he might attend Kate's alma mater of Marlborough College.

There have been suggestions of a briefing war between William and Kate that has been waged via the British press since 2023, with Kate strongly pushing for their son to be educated at Marlborough.

Kate was a student at Marlborough between 1996 and 2000. Although not as prestigious as Eton, it is still an elite school.

Because it is co-ed, Princess Charlotte (11) could have theoretically joined her brother as a boarder when it was time for her to begin high school.

As second and third in line to the throne, George and Charlotte occupy roles in society outside that of the rest of their peers, and although it is a privileged position it must be lonely as well.

It perhaps makes sense that Kate would want her two oldest children to have the option for turning to each other for company while attending school away from home.

Charlotte in turn could have eventually been joined by her 7-year-old brother Prince Louis.

George, Charlotte, and Louis are all currently students at Lambrook School.

And who knows—when the time comes, perhaps both Charlotte and Louis will end up at Marlborough. But as far as George is concerned, Marlborough is out and Eton College is in.

Although George will be a boarder, he will still be only a 15-minute drive from his family's home of Forest Lodge in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

When William was a student at Eton, he often swung by Windsor Castle to have tea with his grandmotherQueen Elizabeth II.

William began attending Eton in 1995 when he was 13 years old and was accompanied on his first day by his parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana, as well as his brother Prince Harry.

Harry would go on to enrol at Eton in 1998.

Twenty British prime ministers have been students at Eton, and the school is said to play an important part in forming social connections that are crucial for students who go on to forge political careers, as well as careers in journalism, medicine, education, law, and the arts.

So you can see why William may have put his foot down concerning the Wales's choice of school for George.

If you're a fan of the hit Netflix show Bridgerton, you'll have heard Eton referred to throughout the series—it's the school that all of the men in the Bridgerton family attended.

In real life other notable alumni include the actos Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne, and Hugh Laurie.

Because Eton is so old it has many rules and codes of conduct that might be seen as archaic and obscure, but which persist in the present day.

For example, it has 25 boarding houses each with its own set of colors. On George's first day he will be presented with the 'colors test' and will have to prove that he has memorized the colors for all the houses.

If George hands in a piece of schoolwork that isn't up to scratch, the teacher will punish him by giving him a 'rip' (a tear at the top of the page.) If he racks up too many 'rips' then he gets a 'white ticket' and he'll be subjected to a progress report.

If he breaks the school's rules, he might receive the punishment of copying out hexameters of Latin poetry by hand. Depending on the degree of rule-breaking this might consist of Lines (100 hexameters) or the more severe punishment of Georgic (500 hexameters!)

Or he might simply be ordered to weed a housemaster's garden.

Melanie Sanderson, managing editor of Good Schools Guide, told Hello!, "Eton, above all the other schools, has a breadth that's really unparalleled. All the other public schools have extracurricular opportunities, in theatre and on the sports pitch, but Eton really does take it to another level. Eton very much delivers on the global stage. [George] will be rubbing shoulders with the children of the great and the good from all around the world."

She went on to remind readers that George will be head of the Church of England one day, and that chapel remains "a central part of Eton."

Eton's website reads, "Today, the Chapel services retain their important position in the life of the College: boys attend once on Sundays and at a number of other voluntary services throughout the week."

A beloved 1979 classic was once hailed as the "Best Song of the Summer," and its popularity hasn't slowed down since.

Chic went all the way to No. 1 in the summer of 1979 with "Good Times." The dance hit captured the carefree spirit of the season, becoming an anthem for those looking to dance the night away.

Billboard listed the Disco Music classic as one of the Top Songs of the Summer from '79. Other tunes listed from that season included Donna Summer's "Bad Girls," and "Hot Stuff," Anita Wood's "Ring My Bell," and The Knack's "My Sharona."

Additionally, Rolling Stone ranked "Good Times" as the Best Summer Song of All Time. It beat out other feel-good classics such as Martha and the Vandellas "Dancing in the Street" (1965), Marvin Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" (1977), and The Beach Boys' "California Girls" (1965).

Rolling Stone wrote, "According to Chic, the sporting life includes clams on the half shell and roller-skating. And as the song that provided the groove for the very first hip-hop hit, the Sugarhill Gang’s 'Rapper’s Delight,' it stands tall as the proud parent of more subsequent summer jams than any song in history."

According to History, the song's connections began after Sylvia Robinson heard a DJ rapping over records in a Harlem club. She asked her son to find some people he knew who could rap, and chose Chic's "Good Times" as their backing track. The song soon became a smash hit and the first commercially successful rap single.

Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, Chic's founders, threatened legal action for use of their song without their consent. They received songwriting credits on "Rappers Delight," and both songs circled one another on the charts, and in popular culture, throughout the Fall of 1979. "Rapper's Delight" was later inducted into the Library of Congress' National Recording Registry in 2011 for its influence on popular culture.

Nile Rodgers told Uncut Magazine (as reported by Songfacts) that "Good Times" was written and recorded in one day.

"I wrote 'Good Times' the morning we recorded it. Bernard was a little late to the studio, but I'd already written out the charts for everybody in the band. We were playing when Bernard walked in," he began.

"He asked the engineers, 'What the hell is that?' The engineer said, ' I don't know, something Nile wrote this morning.' We'd been trying for years to come up with this walking bassline, putting it over and over again on all sorts of songs, but we could never get it right. But that day, I started screaming 'Walk!' over Tony's drums. Bernard said, 'What?' I was shouting 'Walk!' On that particular day, he walked."

"We get this amazing extra funky thing. I just told the engineer, 'Make it red!' We recorded it. That was it. One take, maybe two."

In an apparent change of heart, Rosie O'Donnell says she'd be open to guest-hosting The View — despite previously insisting she had no interest in returning while Whoopi Goldberg remained at the table.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, O'Donnell was asked whether she'd follow former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck's lead and return to the panel. O'Donnell said she'd be willing to do it, adding, "but they haven't asked me."

The comment marks a notable shift from O'Donnell's stance in 2020, when she said she wasn't interested in returning to The View as long as Goldberg occupied a seat.

"I think we all agreed ... that it was better for everyone. Whoopi really didn't like me," she said during an interview with Howard Stern (via Entertainment Weekly).

O'Donnell also took a swipe at Hasselbeck's recent return, arguing that "in the time of Trump," the former co-host is exactly the "perfect person they want on TV spouting their rhetoric."

And while nearly two decades have passed since their infamous on-air feud, O'Donnell made it clear she's still holding a grudge over one aspect of their explosive final clash. Referring to the split-screen broadcast used during the confrontation, she said, "I'm still annoyed," before adding, "Mommy knows how to hold a grudge."

The grievance isn't new. Last year, O'Donnell suggested the split-screen was orchestrated, despite what she described as a genuine friendship she and Hasselbeck had developed behind the scenes during their time on The View.

“Like, I bent over backwards for this woman, and here she was comin’ at me on national TV about whether or not I was patriotic,” she told People in 2025. “It felt to me like I was on a basketball team of five women and one of them kept tripping me on my way to the hoop.”

O'Donnell said she had no idea producers planned to broadcast the fight using a split-screen.

“And, you know, our producer [was] not an on-the-fly kind of guy,” she remarked, referring to the late Bill Geddie. “He wasn’t, like, Mr. Let’s-go-to-a-split-screen. That was prepared. The whole thing, I think, was a setup.”

Henry Winkler was one of the biggest stars of the 1970s due to his iconic role on Happy Days. The actor played Arthur ”Fonzie” Fonzarelli for all 11 seasons of the ABCsitcom, from 1974 to 1984, and the leather-jacketed auto mechanic’s tough guy ‘tude became an essential part of the show.

But early on, Happy Days struggled in the ratings—to the point that showrunner Garry Marshall sent Winkler and his co-stars on the road to promote the sitcom.

During a recent appearance on Ted Danson’s Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast, Winkler shared, "In the beginning, the show was not doing very well. Happy Days was not doing very well. There were 100 shows. We were 48th. And in that calculus, we were not doing well. So, they sent us out into the world. They sent us to different cities to make personal appearances.”

Winkler recalled a fan event at the Neiman Marcus store in Dallas, Texas, where an unbelievable 25,000 fans showed up to meet the Happy Days cast, which included Ron Howard,Anson Williams, and Donny Most. The actor shared that the massive crowd blocked the path for him and his co-stars to get into their limousine. When Most (Ralph Malph on the show) expressed fears that the group would “die” getting out of there, Winkler stepped into Fonzie mode, complete with his signature tough guy voice.

 “And I have never used the Fonzie’s character offscreen. I turned to Donny, and I saw his panic,” Winkler said as he segued into his signature Fonzie voice. “I said, ‘I will take care of this.’ And I just looked at the crowd, and I said, ‘All right, listen up. A lot of you. Four of us. You are now going to part like the Red Sea.’ I swear to God.”

But the money didn’t stop there. While the fans obeyed Winkler’s command, one heckler decided to make a comment about Winkler’s height. The actor is 5-foot-5.

“We started walking. Now somebody said, ‘He's so short,’” Winkler recalled. “I turned to where I thought I heard it and I said, ‘F--- you. I'm not short!’ Then somebody else yelled, ‘He's so cool.’ And then we got in the car and left.”

The actor was 27 years old and a graduate of the Yale School of Drama when he auditioned for Happy Days. But Winkler initially wasn’t sure he was right for the Fonzie role as he read lines with a man named Pascal.

“I only have six lines. And I don’t know where it came from… I changed my voice,” Winkler shared on the IMO With Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson podcast earlier this year. “I’m looking at him. I’m a scared short Jew. I’m playing a tall Italian. I threw the script up in the air. I walked out of the room.”

During an appearance on Who's Talking to Chris Wallace?, Winkler shared that while Happy Days producers originally envisioned Fonzie as "a taller Italian kid,” he ultimately wowed them during his audition.

He was offered the part on his 28thbirthday.

"They got you know, this short Jew from New York, but all I did was change my voice," Winkler recalled. "I introduce myself as Henry, and then as I started to do it, something overtook me ... And I changed my voice like this, and it unleashed me."

'Toy Story 5' New VoicesBonnie – Scarlett Spears Scarlett Spears also played Young Glinda in Wicked: For Good.

Nine-year-old Scarlett Spears takes over the role of Bonnie, which was previously voiced by Madeleine McGraw in Toy Story 4. Spears may not be in double digits yet, but she's one of Hollywood's most exciting young stars. The Florida native got her start on the long-running soap opera General Hospital back in 2022 and played the younger version of the title character in 2025's Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado.

Most recently, she played Young Glinda in Wicked: For Good. But voicing Bonnie is so special for Scarlett. "My mom was a little girl and watched it, and now I'm in the movie!" she told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere.

In Toy Story 4, we saw Bonnie go crazy for Forky—a toy spork she crafted on her first day of kindergarten. Forky quickly became Bonnie's most cherished toy, but things turn a corner in Toy Story 5, when bullies tease her for still playing with toys and she's given a new tablet named Lilypad.

Lilypad – Greta Lee Greta Lee voices Lilypad.

If you've seen The Morning Show, the voice of Lilypad will most definitely sound strikingly familiar. That's because Lily is voiced by scene stealer Greta Lee, who played UBA network president Stella Bak from Seasons 2-4.

The role of Lilypad marks uncharted territory for Lee, who also dazzled critics in 2023's Past Lives. "I can't believe any of this!" she told Good Morning America on June 18. "I was twelve when the first one came out, so this whole franchise means so much to me."

As for Lilypad, she's a frog-shaped tablet who wants to help Bonnie make friends and thrive at school. But it's totally different from the way the toys want to help. For example, while Jessie's idea of making new friends is in the literal sense, Lily believes this is done by just adding them on social media. “I love that even though Jessie and Lily are polar opposites, they both fundamentally care about Bonnie,” Lee told RottenTomatoes. “That is something that they do have in common, but with very different tactics, obviously.”

Mykal-Michelle Harris joins the Toy Story universe as Bonnie's animal-loving BFF Blaze. Blaze bonds with Jessie after Bonnie becomes more interested in her new tablet. "She's one of the coolest 9-year-olds I've ever met," Harris told ABC. "I think it's because she's so brave and she loves animals, and she's always herself."

In real life, Harris is 14 years old, and she's no stranger to Disney—or voice acting. The New Jersey native played Alice in Raven's Home and since 2024, she's starred in the title role on Disney Jr.'s Ariel.

Smarty Pants – Conan O'Brien

He's one of Hollywood's most self-deprecating stars, so it's no surprise that Conan O'Brien had no qualms about playing a potty-training toy named Smarty Pants!

In the film's earliest production stages, Smarty Pants was originally going to be an actual pair of pants. But then, a Pixar intern named Naomi Ureythe came up with the idea to make him a potty-training toy that's shaped like a roll of toilet paper! It's certainly not O'Brien's first foray into animation. He spent two years writing on The Simpsonsand guest starred as himself in Season 5.

Atlas – Craig Robinson Craig Robinson plays Atlas, a GPS toy hippo.

Most people know him as Darryl on The Office, but Craig Robinson has also had a phenomenal career in voice acting. He was Cookie in Shrek Forever After, George in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and Mr. Shark in The Bad Guysmovies.

Now, Robinson enters the Toy Story universe as Atlas, a GPS toy hippo who's long been forgotten in Blaze's tech junk drawer. That is, until new batteries bring the happy-go-lucky hippo back to life. "He's old school tech," Robinson told The Atlanta Voice. "He's gonna get you there, and you can count on him."

Shelby Rabara as Snappy Shelby Rabara grew up in Orange County, California, where she was a Disneyland season passholder!

Steven Universe fans know Shelby Rabara as Peridot, but in Toy Story 5, she's Snappy—an excitable camera toy. Just like Atlas and Smarty Pants, she's old-school tech and the trio works together to help Jessie on her journey. "Recording Snappy was a dream come true," Rabar said at the red carpet premiere. "She's just this excitable camera and she's always there to help."

Combat Carl – Ernie Hudson Ernie Hudson voices Combat Carl, who was originally played by the late Carl Weathers.

Ghostbusters legend Ernie Hudson voices Combat Carl in Toy Story 5. The action figure was previously voiced by the incredible Carl Weathers, who passed away in February 2024. Both are legends, but what makes this casting choice extra special is that Hudson and Weathers were actually close friends in real life.

But knowing he'd be taking over for his late friend was a complete surprise. "I was very happy to be included but I didn't know I was stepping in for Carl, who was a good friend," he told TMZ. "I think the fact that I didn't know in the beginning was probably for the better."

Matty Matheson as Dr. Nutcase Matty Matheson's Dr. Nutcase had a memorable moment in the Toy Story 5 trailer!

Fans of The Bear will immediately recognize Dr. Nutcase—he's voiced by Matty Matheson. The Canadian star was originally a chef before he transitioned into acting. So who's Dr. Nutcase? That would be the tiny peanut daredevil in a luchador costume who loathes electronics with every fiber of his being. He's the toy Woody finds strapped to a kite in a tree in the trailer, and his dramatic "We're doomed!" is already a fan favorite moment.

While news of For All Mankind and Paradise star Krys Marshall's casting was revealed months ago, her actual role was unannounced—until now. She voices Mrs. Manoukian, Blaze's sweet and kind mother. "Becoming a part of the Toy Story franchise has been an absolute dream come true," she wrote on Instagram. "And getting to share this special moment with my kid is the cherry on top. Thank you Andrew Stanton, for bringing me on this wild ride. Little Me is somewhere doing a Happy Dance."

Evil Bullsye – Alan Cumming Alan Cumming's role may be a cameo, but it's bound to be unforgettable.

In the history of Toy Story, we've never heard the voice of Woody's beloved horse, Bullseye. That will change in Toy Story 5—well, sort of. Alan Cumming voices Evil Bullseye, described as Bullseye's mischievous alter ego who comes to life in Blaze's imagination. "Don't expect too much, as it is a cameo, but it is quite exciting as this character has never had a voice before," Cumming said of the role.

Mr. Pricklepants – John Hopkins John Hopkins steps into the role of Mr. Pricklepants.

British actor John Hopkins takes over the role of the dignified plush hedgehog Mr. Pricklepants. The role was previously voiced by James Bond himself, Timothy Dalton, in both Toy Story 3 and 4. Outside of his Pixar debut, Hopkins is known for Poldark and Midsummer Murders.

Bad Bunny as Pizza with Sunglasses Bad Bunny went from making Toy Story videos to joining the franchise!

Global superstar Bad Bunny also has an iconic cameo as Pizza with Sunglasses—an effortlessly cool pizza slice who lives with other forgotten toys in an abandoned backyard shed. Pixar reportedly sought him out after noticing his genuine love for the franchise and once in the recording booth, he improvised lines in both Spanish and English. So cool!

Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head – Jeff Bergman and Anna Vocino Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head are voiced by Jeff Bergman and Anna Vocino.

The absolutely legendary Don Rickles voiced Mr. Potato Head from the very first film in 1995 up until his passing in 2017. The comic's family loved the character so much that they gave Pixar permission to use existing recordings so he could appear one last time in Toy Story 4. Meanwhile, the incomparable Estelle Harris perfectly voiced Mrs. Potato Head until she died in April 2022 at the age of 93.

Toy Story 5 carries their legacy forward with veteran voice actor Jeff Bergman stepping in as Mr. Potato Head and Anna Vocino taking on Mrs. Potato Head. "We found two people that sounded very close to the original actors," Director Stanton shared in a Reddit AMA.

 "I mean, these two people were legends, and we have big shoes to fill," Vocino told The Porterville Recorder. “I had to do a massive deep-dive and just try to embody everything that's hilarious, and the way that she talks is so iconic, and just such a fabric of who she was.”

Bob Seger is known as one of the pioneering icons of heartland rock, and his knack for storytelling through songs is legendary.

With songs such as “Turn the Page,” “Travelin’ Man,” and “The Highway,” the Michigan-born rocker also became synonymous with open-road anthems. One of his biggest came in 1983 with “Roll Me Away.”

Written by Seger for the 1982 Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band album The Distance, “Roll Me Away” featured an anthemic guitar melody and the singer’s signature rasp as he belted out lyrics about the lure of the open road on his “big two-wheeler.” The accompanying music video boasted open-road scenery and a rider on a Honda V65 Magna. 

Released as a single in May 1983, “Roll Me Away” became a summer Top 40 hit, peaking at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 on July 27, 1983. Forty-three summers later, it remains a road-trip anthem inspired by a real-life ride.

Bob Seger was inspired by a motorcycle trip to Wyoming

In 1994, Seger shared the back story of “Roll Me Away” in an interview with The Detroit Free Press.

“That was written about a motorcycle trip I took to Jackson Hole, Wyoming,” he revealed. “I wanted to do that for a long time. It was fascinating being out. The first night it was 42 degrees in northern Minnesota; the second it was 106 in South Dakota, and all I had on was my shorts, and my feet were up on the handlebars to keep them from boiling on the engine.”

“It was just silence and feeling nature,” the music legend added of the road trip.

Seger has long maintained his love for driving and motorcycles in particular. In 2011, he told Huff Post, “I love to go out on my motorcycle alone.”

He also told Motor Trend that his favorite driving destination was the “American West.” "Michiganders, we love to drive,” he said in 2014. “I just love to drive. Ride out, see something new, get away from things that bother you, and take a trip.”

Seger, now 81, retired from touring in 2019, but out of his entire catalog of songs, he chose “Roll Me Away” as the theme when he hit the road for the final time. Seger’s Roll Me Away: The Final Tourwrapped in November 2019.

It's a highly anticipated premiere for the flagship, which is traditionally a mainstay in Northern Europe and the Caribbean. Bookings have officially opened for a roster of five curated itineraries, spanning both the Western and Eastern Mediterranean. Ranging from 10 to 11 days, these voyages are specifically engineered to offer deeper exploration, packing a mix of iconic, high-demand ports alongside smaller, less-visited destinations.

The beauty of the schedule is how easily it prioritizes extended time ashore, featuring late-evening departures and overnight stays so you can actually experience local nightlife. The season kicks off on October 17, 2027, with a 10-day voyage from the Netherlands to Barcelona, stopping in premium spots like Bordeaux, Lisbon and Bilbao. From there, the flagship transitions into a series of deep-dive Mediterranean loops:

• Mediterranean Splendor (Oct. 27): An 11-day route from Barcelona to Athens that covers Marseille, Florence, Rome, Naples and the stunning medieval streets of Kotor, Montenegro.
• Greek Isles & Istanbul Overnight (Nov. 7): A 10-day round-trip from Athens that includes a full overnight stay in Istanbul, giving you ample time to explore the markets and architecture, alongside stops in Mykonos and Rhodes.
• Egypt & The Holy Land (Nov. 17): An 11-day deep dive calling at Alexandria (for easy access to Cairo), Cyprus, Turkey, and an overnight stay in Haifa.
