The Heartwarming Story Behind Dolly Parton's First Live Recording
On April 25, 1970, Dolly Parton marked a meaningful milestone in her career (and her life!) by recording her very first live country album, A Real Live Dolly. But this wasn’t just another concert venue or a routine performance.
Instead, Parton, 80, chose a place filled with personal history: her alma mater, Sevier County High School in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Returning to the halls where her own dreams once began, Parton transformed the event into something far greater than a live recording session. The concert doubled as a benefit show, with proceeds dedicated to creating a scholarship fund for students and purchasing much-needed musical instruments for the school.
It was a powerful gesture of gratitude, reflecting her deep connection to her roots and her desire to give back to the community that helped shape her journey.
At the time, Parton was already gaining recognition in the country music world, but this moment highlighted something even more enduring than her rising fame—her generosity and commitment to uplifting others. By investing in young people and supporting arts education, she ensured that future generations would have opportunities to explore their own talents, just as she once did.
A Real Live Dolly captured more than her voice on stage; it preserved a heartfelt homecoming filled with purpose and pride.
Decades later, the story behind the album remains a testament to Parton’s character. Her decision to turn a career milestone into a meaningful act of giving continues to resonate, reminding fans that success is even more powerful when it’s shared.

1987 Rock Album Ranked Among 'Greatest of All Time' Hit No. 1 39 Years Ago Today
The Joshua Tree by U2 hit No. 1 on the charts 39 years ago today!
On April 25, 1987, the record reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, holding the top spot for nine consecutive weeks and becoming the band's longest No. 1 reign on the chart.
39 years later, The Joshua Tree is still known for its hit singles, including "With or Without You" and "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," both of which are the band's only No. 1 singles in the United States.
U2 supported the smash record with The Joshua Tree tour—the highest-grossing North American tour of 1987 and the group's first time performing in stadiums.
The record also won Album of the Year and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the 1988 Grammy Awards.
RELATED: 1989 Timeless Classic Ranked Among ‘Greatest Songs of All Time’ Hit No. 1 37 Years Ago Today
The Joshua Tree has consistently been ranked on Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" list, and was ranked No. 26 in 2003, No. 27 in 2012, and No. 135 in the most recent edition in 2020.
The outlet says that the album increased the band's stature "from heroes to superstars."
"On U2’s fifth full album, the band immerses itself in the mythology of the United States, while guitarist the Edge exploits the poetic echo of digital delay, drowning his trademark arpeggios in rippling tremolo," the publication wrote in its review. "While many of these songs are about spiritual quests—'Where the Streets Have No Name,' 'I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For'—U2 fortify the solemnity with the outright joys of rock & roll, although one of the most moving songs is 'Running to Stand Still,' a stripped-down slide-guitar ballad about heroin addiction."
The album is influenced by both American and Irish music, and contrasts the band's hostility towards "real America" with their fascination with the "mythical America."
“America’s the promised land to a lot of Irish people,” U2 singer Bono told Rolling Stone. “I’m one in a long line of Irishmen who made the trip.”
The Joshua Tree is U2's best-selling album and one of the best-selling albums globally with over 25 million copies sold.
In 2014, The Joshua Tree was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and was selected for preservation in the U.S. National Recording Registry, after being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress.

1987 No. 1 Hit That Shockingly Ended on a Cliffhanger Became a Timeless Classic
Waylon Jennings’ “Rose in Paradise” may have been released nearly 40 years ago, but the song has become a timeless classic that still resonates with listeners today.
Written by Stewart Harris and Jim McBride, the haunting tune, which appears on the late country outlaw’s Hangin’ Tough album, tells the story of a wealthy banker and the woman he has chosen to pursue romantically. The lyrics of the Southern Gothic tune find Jennings flaunting his storyteller vocals over a relaxed melody as he reveals the man has generously provided his love interest with a ginormous mansion over several acres of land, which includes a vast garden.
However, the situation turns strange as it seems the man has created paradise on earth for the woman, but he intends to keep her away from other potential suitors, so he hires a gardener to keep an eye on her while he’s gone. The ending of the tune is left to listeners to interpret, as it ends on a cliffhanger, leaving them to wonder whether the woman in the story has been killed or had run away with a new lover.
The InspirationOpening up about the inspiration for the mysterious classic with The Boot, McBride said the idea came from real life as he was familiar with an Alabama house that had been home to a woman who was widowed five times. The publication explains that she went on trial multiple times, but was found innocent each time.
“We decide, when we come back, we're gonna write ourselves a ghost story,” he told the outlet. “I don't know where the title came from. It was two years later that I noticed the initials for "Rose in Paradise" are R.I.P.! I don't even know which one of us came up with the idea. We started telling this story of a pretty young girl in Georgia and this rich guy, and the next thing you know, we had finished this song. We took it to our publisher, Judy Harris, and played it for her, and she said, "Where did y'all go to lunch?"
Released in January of 1987, “Rose In Paradise” served as the first single from the Hangin’ Tough album as well as the legend’s final No. 1 hit. Despite it becoming the last chart-topper for Jennings, “Rose In Paradise” left a lasting impression on listeners as it topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, where it stayed for one week, reaching its peak on April 25, 1987. The track spent a total of 19 weeks on the charts.
Since its release, “Rose In Paradise” has enjoyed a decades-long shelf life, having been covered by many artists, including Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Chris Young.

1973 No. 1 Country Hit, Inspired by a Mother's Death, Became a Career-Defining Classic
A deeply personal loss turned into one of country music’s most unforgettable hits after Helen Reddy released “Delta Dawn.”
Now recognized as a popular go-to Karaoke choice, the nostalgic country classic was created after a tragic loss of the songwriter’s loved one.
Written by the prolific Nashville-based songwriter Alex Harvey alongside Larry Collins, the inspiration for the song came from the death of his mother, Emily Jeanette Harvey, who was killed in a single-vehicle car crash in the late 1950s.
“Delta Dawn” was his tribute and apology as he tried to cope with and process his guilt over his mother’s passing.
Harvey, who found himself wide awake amid a late-night gathering with a group, felt a strange sensation when he looked up at the sky.
“I looked up and I felt as if my mother was in the room,” he said, as cited by Le Sabre. “I saw her very clearly. She was in a rocking chair and she was laughing,” hence the lines “She’s forty-one and her daddy still calls her, ‘baby’ / All the folks around Brownsville say she’s crazy” suddenly came to mind.
Lo and behold, what once was a tragic inspiration transformed into a timeless hit, even cementing Helen Reddy’s music career.

The 1973 single not only became her signature song but also peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her second Billboard hit, following “I Am Woman.”
In addition, “Delta Dawn” also secured the top spot on the Billboard Easy Listening/Adult Contemporary chart for six consecutive weeks.
Thanks to her back-to-back hit songs, Reddy earned the status of the "Queen of '70s Pop" following her massive commercial success in the United States.
Moreover, the song’s momentum helped her become one of the top-selling female vocalists in the early 1970s as well as earn her the Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist award at the 1974 American Music Awards.
Although it became her signature song, she wasn't the first singer to record “Delta Dawn.”
The first was the songwriter himself, who recorded it alongside backup singer Dianne Davidson.
Years later, iconic country singer Tanya Tucker, who was 13 years old at the time, released the song in April 1972 as her debut single.
With Reddy’s legacy in music, she left a lasting imprint on the industry after passing away in Los Angeles, Californian on September 29, 2020, at the age of 78, following years battling dementia and Addison’s disease.

1980 Film Based on a True Story Was Just Named the ‘Best Sports Movie of the 20th Century'
Audiences are historically drawn to sports movies and for a good reason. Movie-goers enjoy watching a determined, hardworking protagonist with a goal in mind, especially if the cards are stacked against them. The publication Collider managed to narrow down a list of the 10 top sports movies that were released before 2000.
The ranking, published on April 24, featured hit sports movies like Remember the Titans from 2000, 1979's Breaking Away, A League of Their Own, released in 1992, and 1996's Rocky.
Raging Bull, released in 1980, was named the number 1 "best sports movie" made in the 20th century. According to the publication, the Martin Scorsese-directed film deserved the title because of Robert De Niro's incredible portrayal of real-life boxer Jake LaMotta, and its expert storytelling.
De Niro ended up getting the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role because of his work in the film.
Martin Scorsese Explained Why 'Raging Bull' Is in Black-and-WhiteIn a 2023 interview with GQ, Scorsese explained the decision behind making Raging Bull a black-and-white film. He said that several boxing movies, like The Main Event, The Prize Fighter, and Rocky II, were being released around the same time as Raging Bull, and he wanted to make his film stand out.
"They were all in color. That's when I realized that we should go black-and-white. And also the black and white would work distinctively different from the other boxing films that were being made," said the famed director to GQ.
He also said that the film's producer, Irwin Winkler, reminded the studio that two acclaimed films from the '70s, Paper Moon(1973) and Lenny (1974), were in black and white.
Scorsese also shared details about the scenes where boxing is in the forefront.
"I also thought too that the boxing scenes had to be very powerful. The rest of the film, anything else was concentrated in an almost meditative state in terms of framing, holding those people in that frame. But the boxing scenes would be like you're on another planet," said Scorsese in the 2013 interview.
He said that he "came up with the idea" while he was directing 1978's Last Waltz and "being on the stage with the band and watching how the band worked." He also said he was influenced by the 1948 film, The Red Shoes.
"The ballet sequences from Red Shoes where you don't really necessarily go head to toe where you see the dancer, instead you see what's inside the mind of the dancer. What's in the mind and what's the perception of the fighter in the ring? They don't even know where they are sometimes," explained Scorsese.

Aldi's New $10 Garden Decor Is the Cutest Way to Refresh Your Yard This Spring
As the weather starts to warm up, many people begin spending more time outside. Yards and patios become places to relax, entertain and enjoy longer days. Whether you are planning weekend cookouts, quiet evenings on the porch or simple staycations at home, small updates can make outdoor spaces feel fresh again without a big budget.
One of the latest Aldi finds is getting attention for doing exactly that. It is a new line of outdoor pieces that add a little personality to gardens and walkways while keeping things simple and affordable.
At just $9.99 each, the Belavi Solar Garden Figurines are part of Aldi's seasonal outdoor lineup. Shoppers can choose from three designs, including a cow, a frog or a lighthouse. Each piece is made to sit outside and bring a bit of charm to yards, flower beds or patios.
Belavi Solar Garden Figurine, $9.99 at AldiThese garden pieces are designed to do more than just sit in the yard. They also light up after dark. Each figurine includes a solar panel and a rechargeable battery that collects sunlight during the day. Once the sun goes down, a small LED light turns on, providing a soft glow for up to 8 hours.
That mix of decoration and function is part of what makes garden ornaments popular. They can help guide the eye through a space or add interest to areas that might otherwise feel empty. They can also reflect personal style, whether someone prefers something playful, like a frog, or more classic, like a lighthouse.

At under $10, these Aldi garden decor pieces fit into the retailer's reputation for seasonal surprises that sell quickly. Many shoppers look for small updates like these when they want to change the feel of their outdoor space without spending much.
Garden design experts often suggest spacing decor thoughtfully instead of filling every corner. A single figurine tucked near a pathway or flower bed can create a focal point. Others may use them to add a bit of personality to areas that feel plain or unfinished.
As spring and summer plans start to take shape, budget-friendly outdoor finds like these are becoming popular with anyone looking to enjoy more time outside. Whether used as a small accent or part of a larger garden setup, this Aldi decor offers an easy way to refresh a space for the season ahead.

Barry Manilow Makes First Public Appearance After Lung Cancer Surgery
Barry Manilow has been photographed in public for the first time since he underwent a lobectomy to treat lung cancer.
In the photos taken on Friday, Apr. 24, the singer was seen smiling while exiting a car in New York City. The outing comes four months after his surgery in December 2025 following his diagnosis with stage 1 lung cancer a month prior.
Manilow first announced his cancer diagnosis via Instagram on Dec. 22, 2025.
“As many of you know, I recently went through six weeks of bronchitis followed by a relapse of another five weeks," the "Copacabana" singer wrote at the time. "Even though I was over the bronchitis and back on stage at the Westgate Las Vegas, my wonderful doctor ordered an MRI just to make sure that everyone was OK. The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed. It’s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early. That’s the good news.”
He added, “The bad news is that now that the Christmas A Gift of Love concerts are over, I’m going into surgery to have the spot removed. The doctors do not believe it has spread and I’m taking tests to confirm their diagnosis. So, that’s it. No chemo. No radiation. Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns.”
RELATED: Barry Manilow Forced to Postpone Shows Due to Health Battle, ‘Doctor’s Orders’
In January, Manilow shared another health update to Instagram, letting fans know he was "Better Today!" with a smiling selfie in his hospital gown.
The next month, he announced on Instagram that he had a "very depressing visit" with his surgeon, and would need to postpone more tour dates because his “lungs [weren ’t] ready yet.”
Manilow was also forced to cancel concerts in April 2026 due to ongoing health concerns. However, he still plans to head to Las Vegas for a residency running from May 7 to Dec. 19, 2026.
He also plans to release his first brand-new album in 15 years, What A Time, on June 5, 2026.
1996 Cult Classic Ranked As the 'Most Rewatched Horror Film'
What's your favorite scary movie? Well, for a lot of Letterboxd fans, the answer is Scream.
The iconic 1996 slasher film directed by Wes Craven continues to be a fan-favorite watch for horror movie junkies. It's even ranked at No. 1 on the list of "Most Obsessively Rewatched Horror Films" by Letterboxd.
The list, compiled by the official Letterboxd HQ on the popular movie-rating site, ranks "narrative feature films with a 'horror' genre tag that have been logged five or more times by the most Letterboxd members." The entire list includes 250 films, with a number of Scream sequels also earning spots in the Top 20.
The original Scream stars a number of '90s icons, like literal Scream Queen Neve Campbell, plus Courteney Cox, Drew Barrymore, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan and more. The 1996 cult classic sparked a frenzy in the slasher film genre, providing a meta-commentary on classic horror films, while still leaving fans on the edge of their seats with each Ghostface killing spree.
Scream is apparently one of those films that fans can't help from watching over and over again, according to the Letterboxd lists, which also features iconic horror titles like the original Halloween (1978), Jaws, The Shining, IT, Saw and more.
Scream doesn't rank as highly on Letterboxd's Top 250 Horror Films list, which ranks movies by average member ratings. Scream is ranked at No. 45 on that list. It did, however, score the No. 3 spot on the platform's list of Top Horror Films with the Most Fans. (A 'fan' is a Letterboxd member with a particular film as one of their four favorites on their profile.)
But the "Most Obsessively Rewatched" list also includes more Scream sequels, including the 2022 remake (ranked at No. 4), plus Scream 4 (No. 12), Scream 2 (No. 15), Scream VI (No. 17) and Scream 3 (No. 27).

Brendan Fraser’s Fourth ‘The Mummy’ Movie Release Date Pushed Forward
Academy Award winners BrendanFraser and RachelWeisz are set to return in the highly anticipated fourth installment of The Mummy. The movie is set to hit theaters almost a year earlier than originally announced.
Universal has moved up the untitled fourth The Mummy movie to October 15, 2027, from the previous date, May 19, 2028. Both Fraser and Weisz will reprise their roles as adventurer Rick O’Connell and Egyptologist Evelyn O’Connell from the original 1999 cult classic.
Currently, not much is known about the plot of The Mummy’s newest release.
The studio is giving Miami Vice ‘85 the action-adventure film’s previous date. This newly scheduled movie stars Michael B. Jordan and AustinButler. It will take place in mid-80s Miami and is inspired by the original Miami Vice television show’s pilot episode and first season.
The Miami Vice reboot’s former release was scheduled for August 6, 2027. Universal will use that date for an untitled event film
For Fraser, the updated calendar is an earlier chance to redeem his role. The actor is ready to “give the fans what they want,” he told The Associated Press in 2025, after the upcoming film was announced.
The most recently released movie in the franchise was The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor in 2008. It was the third in the series.
“I’m proud of the third one because I think it’s a good standalone movie,” Fraser said. “We picked up and did what we do with a different crew on deck and gave it our best shot.”
This installment was not well-received by fans. The main grievances were Rachel Weisz’s absence and the change of location to China (instead of Egypt).
Fraser is ready to make it up to fans in the fourth film.
“I’ve been waiting 20 years for this call,” he said. “The one I wanted to make was never made.”
Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are set to direct the film. This will be their first The Mummy film.

Dolly Parton's Latest Jewelry Collab Is Out Now, and It Channels Her Iconic 1971 Hit

Time and time again, Dolly Parton proves there's basically nothing she can't do. Calling her a triple threat feels wildly insufficient—she's more like a 1,539-threat at this point, and somehow still finding new lanes to conquer. Music legend, author, philanthropist, theme park queen … and now, once again, jewelry collaborator. What I love most, though, is that she never loses sight of making things accessible. There's a real effort behind everything she touches to keep it at a price point that feels inclusive, which honestly just makes her even more iconic.
And now she’s back with her third Kendra Scott collection, this time inspired by her 1971 hit "Coat of Many Colors," which already has so much heart behind it. It's such a perfect source of inspiration—colorful, meaningful and nostalgic. You can just tell it isn't a slap-a-name-on-it situation, either. There's intention there. It feels personal, which is kind of her whole thing. I swear, every time she launches something new, I'm like, of course she did, and of course it's good.
The Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott Coat of Many Colors Collection has it all—stunning earrings, necklaces, pendants and bracelets. Each piece weaves together colorful gemstones, stitch-like details and vintage 23k yellow gold over brass for an heirloom look.
Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott Patchwork Statement Bracelet, $250 at Kendra Scott Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott Patchwork Statement Braceletcourtesy of Kendra Scott
Shop It!In plain terms, it means the piece isn't solid gold, it's made of brass (a more affordable metal) with a layer of 23-karat yellow gold on top to give it that rich, golden look. So basically, it looks like high-end gold jewelry, but it's more budget-friendly because the core is brass. It really vibes with what Dolly is all about—creating beautiful things that don't feel completely out of reach for her fans.
And if gold tones aren't your thing, the collection also boasts some pieces in vintage silver.
How Much Does the Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott Collection Cost?Prices start at $90 for earrings and then go up to $250 for the Dolly Parton x Kendra Scott Patchwork Statement Bracelet (shown above).
As far as the colorful materials used, many of the pieces include blue opal crystal, yellow lab grown opal, green pyrite and hot pink variegated magnesite, among others, to accomplish that "Coat of Many Colors" patchwork feel.

1977 No. 1 Soft Rock Ballad Became a Timeless Ode to the 'Fleeting Nature of Love'
It's probably safe to say the first song that comes to mind for most people when they think of the classic Eagles album Hotel California, is, obviously, "Hotel California." But, as everyone knows, that record was packed with hits, like "Life in the Fast Lane," "Victim of Love" and "New Kid in Town," which was actually the first single released...and went on to win the band a Grammy for Best Vocal Arrangement.
Believe it or not, Eagles co-writer J.D. Souther apparently didn't realize the potential of "New Kid in Town" when he first played it for the band, according to Rolling Stone.
“Everyone looked at me: ‘Man, that’s a single, that’s a hit. Where’s that been?’” Souther said later. “I didn’t know what else to do with it.”
Thankfully, Glenn Frey and Don Henley had plenty of ideas for the tune, and together, the trio finished writing "New Kid in Town." As Henley explained in the liner notes of the 2003 Eagles compilation album The Very Best Of, the lyrics were a reflection on "the fleeting, fickle nature of love and romance" and the "fleeting nature of fame, especially in the music business."
"We were basically saying, 'Look, we know we're red-hot right now but we also know that somebody's going to come along and replace us — both in music and in love," Henley wrote.
In a Songfacts interview, Souther concurred, saying, "We were just writing about our replacements."
Indeed, the song tells the all-too-familiar tale the rise and fall of a "new kid" who goes from being the next big thing to yesterday's news:
"There's talk on the street, it's there to remind you / Doesn't really matter which side you're on / You're walking away and they're talking behind you / They will never forget you 'til somebody new comes along / Where you been lately? / There's a new kid in town / Everybody loves him, don't they? / He's holding her and you're still around"
The Eagles had the bestselling classic rock album of all timeOf course, as time has shown, the Eagles didn't really have anything to worry about in terms of being replaced. Nearly 50 years since the Eagles hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on February 26, 1977, with "New Kid in Town," the band's Their Greatest Hits album is still the bestselling classic rock album of all time.
Released ahead of Hotel California on February 17, 1976, Their Greatest Hits includes ten tracks from their first four albums (such as “Take It Easy,” “Lyin’ Eyes” and “Witchy Woman”) and spent five weeks at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 (and 455 weeks on the charts overall). In 2018, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album 38x platinum.
Elton John Song 'Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word' Named No. 1 Hit Song Became a Generational Breakup Anthem
Fifty years ago, the iconic Grammy Award-winning '70s singer Elton John topped the charts with his heartbreaking classic, "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word."
Released in 1976 as the lead single for his eleventh studio album, Blue Moves, "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" was a major success. Upon its release, the track climbed up the Billboard Hot 100, peaking a No. 6, and reached No. 1 on the US Adult Contemporary chart. In 2002, John rerecorded the song with English boy band Blue, which topped the U.K. Singles Chart, attesting to the song's enduring relevance.
In 1977, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the track Gold for selling over 1 million copies in the U.S. This marked the fourteenth time John had received this honor within the decade, continuing to prove himself as a dominant force in the 1970s music scene.

Produced by Gus Dudgeon via John's label, The Rocket Record Company, "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" is recognizable for its sparse, melancholic arrangement. The track combines somber soundscapes—featuring James Newton Howard on electric piano and strings and Ray Cooper on vibraphone—with John's moving vocal performance to create a magnificent power ballad.
Written by the legendary English songwriter Bernie Taupin, "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" explores tender themes of deep grief following a broken relationship. The song came to life after John played the delicate piano melody for Taupin while lounging in his apartment, inspiring Taupin to draft up the lyrics.
"Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" touched on the regret one feels after failing to communicate effectively with a loved one, resulting in turmoil within the partnership. The track's blend of emotive vocals and vulnerable lyrics made it an instant heartbreak anthem.
Although John's song was released five decades ago, it still resonates with modern audiences. On Spotify, "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word" has accumulated over 133 million streams, affirming its ability to reach across generations and persevere in the streaming era.

Shoppers Say Target's Gorgeous Rattan Lantern Is Giving Crate & Barrel Energy for Much Less
Parade aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.
Ambient lighting is the secret ingredient that transforms a patio into a sanctuary, bridging the gap between indoor comfort and the beauty of nature. Whether you are hosting an intimate dinner party, enjoying a glass of wine, or simply settling in with a book on the porch, lighting controls the rhythm of the evening. Without intentional illumination, outdoor spaces often feel flat and unusable after dusk, but with the right placement, you can extend your living space well into the night.
Rattan, wicker and other woven textures bring a relaxed, bohemian vibe that elevates the aesthetic of any deck, balcony or garden nook. However, beauty isn't the only priority for outdoor decor. Functionality is paramount; furniture and accessories must be durable and weather-resistant to withstand the elements, and light sources need to be flexible. The best lighting options are often those that require zero wiring, allowing you to move your illumination wherever the evening takes you.

Beyond its stunning aesthetics, this lantern features a fixed LED bulb, providing a soft, inviting glow ideal for late-night relaxation. Because it operates on batteries—requiring only two AA batteries (not included)—you are completely free from the constraints of power cords and outlets. You can hang it from a shepherd's hook, place it on a bistro table, or set it near an entryway without worrying about proximity to a power source. The slide switch makes operation quick and simple, while the weather-resistant construction gives you peace of mind that it can handle the occasional light exposure to the elements.
Styling with this lantern is incredibly versatile. Its 16-inch frame is substantial enough to be a focal point, yet its woven rattan construction keeps it feeling light and airy. The inclusion of a sturdy hanging loop allows you to experiment with vertical styling, creating layers of light by hanging several lanterns at varying heights. Whether you are looking to create a cozy corner on your patio or a welcoming glow for your front porch, this piece from Threshold is an affordable, high-design upgrade.
